Punta Cana Princess: bonnes vacances

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le centre de villégiature - tout le personnel était très sympathique La nourriture était bonne - cependant quelques autres options sans avoir à aller dans d'autres stations Princess seraient bien (le restaurant Texmex n'était pas ouvert du tout pendant la semaine, l'italien était très bon, la petite fondue était très bonne) n'était pas ouvert du tout pendant la semaine, le restaurant italien était très bon, le Petit Fondue n'était pas pour nous pas pour nous. da [... lire plus]ns l'ensemble, c'est bien pour le prix. Je pense qu'il s'agit d'un 4 étoiles la seule chose que nous trouvons décevante est le choix des alcools.

good vacation We enjoyed the resort very much - all staff were very friendly The food was good - however a few other options without having to go to other Princess resort would be nice. (Texmex restaurant was not open at all during the week, Italian was very good, Petit Fondue was not for us. all in all - good for the price. I guess a 4-star one thing we find disappointing is the liquor choice.

Punta Cana Princess: Mauvais rapport qualité-prix

Le Punta Cana Princess est situé sur une belle plage, le cadre est magnifique. Cependant, les équipements sont insuffisants. Nous avons déjà voyagé deux fois en République démocratique du Congo pour le même prix et avons bénéficié d'un hébergement et d'un service de luxe. Le Punta Cana Princess nous a déçus. Des choses simples n'étaient pas disponibles ou en mauvais état. Il n'y avait aucune table à la plage ou à la piscine. Vous posez votre boisson et vos objets personnels sur le sol. Par  [... lire plus]conséquent, le personnel devait constamment se pencher pour ramasser les verres qui roulaient et s'envolaient. L'alarme incendie se déclenchait à toute heure dans notre bâtiment. Nous avons eu cinq alarmes incendie en deux jours, ce qui va à l'encontre de l'idée de repos et de détente que l'on se fait des vacances. La chambre, bien que confortable, avait besoin d'être réparée. Nous avons dû faire réparer nos toilettes 3 fois en 9 jours car elles coulaient ou laissaient échapper une flaque d'eau sur le sol. La poignée de la douche tombait tous les jours, ce qui aurait dû être une réparation simple, mais personne ne s'en est soucié. Nous avons voyagé avec un grand groupe et d'autres chambres avaient les mêmes problèmes. La nourriture au buffet était décente, le seul reproche étant qu'il n'y avait souvent plus de bacon. La machine à café du buffet de la plage était également souvent en panne. Les restaurants à la carte étaient bons. Le service y était excellent et la nourriture était bien préparée et savoureuse. Nous avons fêté un anniversaire pour 15 personnes dans le restaurant brésilien de l'hôtel frère, qui a fait un excellent travail sur le plan de la nourriture et de l'accueil. Le service de ménage dans notre chambre était très bon, nous n'avons pas eu à nous en plaindre et chaque jour, deux grandes bouteilles d'eau étaient laissées à notre disposition pour boire et se laver les dents. Une chose à laquelle nous n'étions pas habitués dans un complexe hôtelier était le harcèlement des vendeurs qui étaient extrêmement agressifs sur la propriété du complexe à l'extérieur du hall. Nous aurions aimé regarder les cadeaux qu'ils proposaient à la vente, mais nous avons rapidement appris à nous tenir à l'écart après avoir été abordés et harcelés après le dîner un soir. Un collier que nous avions demandé était en vente à 175 dollars et lorsque nous avons indiqué que nous ne cherchions que des bijoux fantaisie dans les 20 dollars, tout d'un coup, la même pièce ne coûtait plus que 25 dollars. Le vendeur était implacable et nous avons dû nous montrer impolis pour lui rendre les objets qu'il nous fourrait dans les mains et nous éloigner de lui. De même, à chaque fois que vous êtes dans la piscine ou que vous vous promenez, préparez-vous à ce qu'un des "photographes" se présente et vous incite de manière agressive à poser pour des photos que vous pouvez acheter dans le hall - une prise d'argent pour le centre de villégiature. Nous sommes habitués à cela sur les bateaux de croisière, mais pas dans un complexe hôtelier. Dans l'ensemble, ce n'était pas un 5 ou même un 4 étoiles. Nous retournerons certainement en RD, mais nous ne reviendrons pas au Punta Cana Princess.

Poor Value for Money Spent Punta Cana Princess is situated on a beautiful beach, the setting is lovely. The amenities however are lacking. We have travelled to the DR twice before at the same package cost and have had luxury accommodations and service. The Punta Cana Princess was disappointing. Simple things were either not available or in poor repair. There were zero tables at beach or pool areas. You set your drink and personal items on the ground. As a result, staff were constantly reaching around picking up glasses that were rolling and blowing. The fire alarm went off in our building at all hours. We had five fire alarms happen in a 2 day period which kind of defeats the rest and relax idea of a holiday. The room while comfortable was in need or repair. We had to have our toilet repaired 3 times in the 9 days we were at resort as it was either running or leaking a puddle onto the floor. The handle in our shower fell off every day-should have been a simple fix but no one bothered. We travelled with a large group and other rooms had the same problems. The food in the buffet was decent, only complaint was they often ran out of bacon. Also the coffee machine in the beach area buffet was often out of order. The a la carte restaurants were good. Service in them was excellent and food was well prepared and tasty. We had a birthday celebration for a party of 15 in the Brazilian restaurant at the sister resort and they did a wonderful job with food and hosting. The maid service in our room was very good-no complaints about it and each day, a couple of large water bottles were left for drinking and cleaning teeth. One thing we were not accustomed to at a resort was the harassment by vendors who were extremely aggressive on the resort property outside of the lobby. It would have been lovely to look at the gift items they had for sale but we quickly learned to steer clear after we were approached and hounded after dinner one evening. A necklace we had had enquired about was for sale at $175 and when we expressed that we were only looking for costume jewelry in the $20 range, all of a sudden the same piece was only going to cost $25. The salesperson was relentless and we had to be rude in order to hand back stuff he was shoving into our hands and get away from him. Also, anytime you are in pool or just out for a stroll, be prepared for one of the 'photographers' to show up and aggressively talk you in to posing for photographs that you can buy in the lobby-a cash grab for resort. We are used to this on cruise ships but not at a resort. All in all, this was not a 5 or even a 4 star. While we will certainly travel to the DR again, we will not be coming back to Punta Cana Princess.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Tout va bien !

Il s'agit clairement d'un complexe dont le groupe Barcelo peut être fier ! Nous avons fait un séjour de 8 jours et nous avons absolument adoré. Le terrain, la plage, tous les espaces publics et les chambres étaient impeccablement propres et bien entretenus. Personnel poli et souriant. La nourriture : fraîche, variée et bien présentée. Bien au-dessus de la moyenne. Je n'ai rien de négatif à dire, sauf que nous serions restés plus longtemps...

All good! Clearly a resort the Barcelo group can be proud of! We took an 8 day stay and absolutely loved it. The grounds, beach, every public area and rooms were impeccably clean and well maintained. Polite and smiling personnel. The food: fresh, varied and well presented. Well above average. I have nothing negative to say except we would have stayed longer...

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Excellente semaine de vacances

Superbe endroit pour des vacances en groupe. Nous avons voyagé avec 4 couples et nous recommandons tous le complexe. Le personnel et l'équipe vibrante ont rendu notre semaine inoubliable. La nourriture au steak house et au restaurant de pâtes était exceptionnelle. Le déjeuner proposé au bord de la piscine était également correct. La chambre était un peu petite mais nous n'avons dormi que dans la chambre et nous nous en sommes accommodés. La plage était petite et l'océan était agité, mais nous av [... lire plus]ons tous apprécié.

Great week away Great spot for a group vacation. Travelled with 4 couples and we all would recommend the resort. Staff and vibe team made our week. Food at the steak house and pasta restaurant were outstanding. Lunch offered by the pool was also decent. Room was a bit on the small size but we only slept in the room and we made the best of it. Beach was small and ocean was rough but we all enjoyed it.

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: La meilleure station balnéaire de tous les temps

La nourriture était impeccable quel que soit l'endroit où nous avons mangé et les boissons étaient les meilleures que nous ayons jamais eues. Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Golf Spectaculaire !!!

Dès notre arrivée au Barcelo Bavaro Palace, nous avons été traités comme des rois. Cocktails de première qualité servis lors de l'enregistrement, personnel courtois dans tous les secteurs de l'hôtel, belle suite avec vue sur l'océan, choix de restaurants allant de décontractés à formels et le golf ! !!! Un chef-d'œuvre de 18 trous conçu par Pete Dye, avec 4 flamants roses qui résident sur les neuf derniers trous. Le Hoya 19 était un endroit merveilleux pour se détendre après la partie et profi [... lire plus]ter d'un service haut de gamme dans un salon haut de gamme. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute. Merci au Barcelo Bavaro pour ces vacances spectaculaires.

Golf Spectacular!!! From the moment we arrived at the Barcelo Bavaro Palace we were treated like royalty. Premium cocktails served while checking in, gracious staff in all areas of the resort, beautiful ocean view suite, restaurant choices from casual to formal and the golf!!!! A Pete Dye designed 18 hole masterpiece complete with 4 flamingos who reside on the back nine. The Hoya 19 was a wonderful spot to unwind after the round and enjoy premium service in a premium lounge. We will definitely be back. Thank you Barcelo Bavaro for a spectacular vacation.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Le meilleur complexe hôtelier que nous ayons connu en République démocratique du Congo

Nous avons été surclassés au statut Preferred et nous avons été entièrement satisfaits. Les piscines privées et les bars étaient superbes, avec de la bière en canette, du Crown Royal et d'autres alcools de qualité. Notre serveur au Sand Bar, Fraudicio (Freddy), était exceptionnel ! Il a fait en sorte que nous ayons l'impression d'être les seuls à séjourner dans le complexe. La nourriture dans tous les restaurants était excellente. Le centre de villégiature était impeccablement entretenu et  [... lire plus]notre chambre était du plus bel effet. Tout le personnel, et il y en avait beaucoup, était toujours agréable et heureux. Le seul reproche que nous ayons fait est que notre chambre n'était pas prête et que nous sommes arrivés après 15h00. Nous avons finalement obtenu notre chambre et avons dû attendre 45 minutes de plus pour que nos bagages arrivent. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et nous recommandons vivement ce complexe à tous.

Best resort we have been to in the DR We upgraded to the Preferred Status and we were completely satisfied. The private pools and bars were great, with canned beer, Crown Royal and other top shelf liquors also. Our server at the Sand Bar, Fraudicio(Freddy) was outstanding! He made our stay feel like we were the only ones at the Resort. The food at all of the restaurants was excellent. The resort was immaculately maintained and our room was top shelf. All of the staff and there was plenty of them, were always pleasant and happy. The only knock that we had is that our room was not ready and we checked in after 3:00. Finally got our room and had to wait another 45 minutes for our luggage to arrive. We would definitely stay their again and highly recommend this resort to all.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Faites-le !!!

Ce centre de villégiature est à couper le souffle ! Dès l'entrée, nous avons été accueillis par le personnel qui a gentiment pris nos bagages et nous a escortés jusqu'à l'enregistrement, qui est rafraîchissant et climatisé. Là, on nous a servi la boisson signature Ocean Blue. On nous a donné nos chambres et notre bracelet. Le chariot nous a conduits à notre bâtiment et nos bagages nous attendaient. Dans la chambre, il y avait deux grands lits avec de nouveaux matelas. Un mini-bar, un coffre-fort [... lire plus] et une baignoire à jets étaient les bienvenus. Nous sommes ensuite retournés à l'avant de l'hôtel pour décider du restaurant où nous allions manger. Nous avons choisi le Route 66 et avons commandé presque tout ce qu'il y avait au menu. Nous recommandons vivement les cornichons frits ! Comme nous sommes restés une semaine, nous avons eu l'occasion de manger dans tous les restaurants et chacun d'entre eux nous a offert une expérience unique ainsi qu'une nourriture et des boissons excellentes. Les piscines offrent beaucoup d'espace pour nager et flotter, et des bars de natation sont toujours disponibles. La plage disposait de nombreuses chaises et parasols et, bien sûr, d'un bar. L'eau était spectaculaire et les déferlantes aidaient à calmer les vagues. Les animateurs étaient tous incroyables et ont fait en sorte que tout le monde participe. Il y a eu des olympiades de plage, de la peinture, des défis culinaires, des instructions de danse, du volley-ball de plage et bien d'autres choses encore. Le soir, des spectacles étaient organisés au bar du hall et dans le théâtre. L'hommage à Michael Jackson a été de loin mon événement préféré. Il y a encore beaucoup d'autres choses à voir et à faire, comme des excursions et du parachute ascensionnel, pour lesquels je reviendrai ! Les meilleures vacances jusqu'à présent !

Do it!!! This resort is breathtakingly amazing! Upon entry we were greated by staff who kindly took our luggage and escorted us to registration which is refreshingly air conditioned. There we were served their Ocean Blue signature drink. We were provided our rooms and our wrist band. The Trolly took us to our building and our luggage was waiting for us. Inside the room were 2 queen sized beds with new mattresses. Mini bar, a safe, and jetted bathtub were very much welcomed. We then walked back to the front area of the resort to decide what restaurant to eat at. We choose Route 66 and ordered almost everything on the menu. Highly suggest the fried pickles! Since we stayed 1 week, we had the opportunity to eat at all the restaurants and each one provided a unique experience along with great food and drink. The pools provided a lot of space to swim and float around in and swim up bars were always available. The beach had plenty of chairs and umbrellas available and of course a bar. The water was spectacular and the breakers helped calm down the waves. The entertainment staff were all so incredible and did a great job getting everyone to participate. We had beach Olympics, painting, cooking challenges, dance instructions, beach volleyball and much more. In the evening there was live entertainment in the lobby bar and in the theatre. The Michael Jackson tribute was by far my favorite evening event. There is so much more to see and do like excursions and parasailing which I will be back for! Best vacation so far!

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: Superbe escapade !

Nous avons passé un très bon moment, avec un grand choix de plats excellents, des boissons géniales, un personnel très amical et serviable. La piscine est incroyable, la plage est magnifique, mais l'eau est un peu agitée. Ce complexe est maintenant divisé en deux et je recommande vivement de dépenser le supplément pour le "Colonial Club". Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bon complexe, avec beaucoup de choses à faire !

Great Getaway! We had a great time, Large selection of great food, Awesome drinks, Staff are very friendly and helpful. Pool is amazing, beach is beautiful, the water is a bit rough though. This resort is split in half now and I would highly recommend spending the extra for the “colonial club”. Over all it is a great resort, with lots to do!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Je reviendrais 10/10

Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle. Chambres propres, lits confortables, serviettes fraîches. La nourriture était vraiment bonne ! J'ai été enthousiasmé par le choix des plats et le service dans tous les restaurants. La plage est superbe, les piscines sont immenses et nous n'avons jamais eu à nous battre pour des chaises ou de l'ombre. Ma seule plainte est que les vendeurs qu'ils autorisent à entrer avec des tables deux fois par semaine sont extrêmement insistants et nous ont mis ma [... lire plus]l à l'aise. Nous avons évité de nous en approcher.

Would return 10/10 We had an amazing week. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, fresh towels. The food was really good! I was thrilled about the food selection and service at every restaurant. Great beach, huge pools and never a fight for chairs or shade. My only complaint is the vendors they allow in with tables twice a week are extremely pushy and made us feel uncomfortable. We avoided going near them.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Premium vs Prestige/Supérieur

Chambres démodées, mais très bonne nourriture dans les restaurants Bavaro Beach Buffet et La Brisa. Service médiocre, vins et nourriture de mauvaise qualité dans tous les autres restaurants, repas froids, nourriture froide, personnel de service non professionnel. PAS de wifi "gratuit" nulle part, sauf si vous avez choisi la formule Premium. Si votre carte de chambre indique "Premium" (qui comprend le wifi gratuit et l'accès à TOUS les restaurants, y compris ceux qui ont un supplément) et que  [... lire plus]votre chambre se trouve dans la section "Premium", cela ne signifie pas vraiment "Premium", il s'agit probablement de Prestige ou Superior... vérifiez à nouveau avant de réserver et confirmez, dans tous les cas, il ne s'agit pas d'une seule et même chose. La qualité et le mélange des boissons sont très inégaux dans les bars et les restaurants. Un bar et son personnel, cependant, étaient excellents : The Bohio, au bord de la piscine, dans la section réservée aux adultes. Excellent service, amical et attentif.

Premium vs Prestige/Superior Dated rooms, but great food in the Bavaro Beach Buffet and La Brisa restaurants. Poor service, low quality wine and food in all of the other restaurants, meals cold, food cold, wait staff unprofessional. NO "free" wifi anywhere, unless you selected Premium. If your room card says "Premium" (which includes free wifi and access to ALL restaurants-including the ones that have an extra charge) and your room is in the "Premium" section, it does not really mean "Premium", it is probably Prestige or Superior...double check prior to booking and confirm, either way, they are NOT one in the same. Very inconsistent at the bars, restaurants, in the quality and mixing of drinks. One bar and their staff, though, were top notch, The Bohio, by the pool, in the adult section. Great service, friendly and attentive.

Iberostar Waves Punta Cana: Belle station balnéaire

Piscines énormes, petite zone de plage, était difficile de trouver un endroit si vous n'avezâ €™t là super tôt. Magnifique steak house sur la plage dans le sable. A adoré la vue sur l'océan du restaurant de fruits de mer. Sentiment d'avoir été brossé par le personnel. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

Nice resort Huge pools, small beach area, was hard to find a spot if you didn’t get there super early. Beautiful steak house on the beach in the sand. Loved the ocean view from the seafood restaurant. Felt brushed off by staff. We did enjoy our stay.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Très belle station balnéaire

Les restaurants étaient bons, le buffet a besoin d'être amélioré, le personnel était formidable, les chambres étaient impeccables. La plage est magnifique, je ne peux pas me prononcer sur les animations nocturnes car nous n'y avons pas assisté. Je recommanderais ce complexe.

Really nice resort Restaurants were good, buffet needs improvement on food, staff was amazing, rooms were immaculate. The beach is beautiful, I cannot comment on the night entertainment as we did not attend. I would recommend this resort.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: un centre de villégiature agréable, mais qui n'a rien d'extraordinaire

Je viens de rentrer d'une semaine au club caribe. Le complexe est "bon". La chambre était propre et tout fonctionnait. Je n'ai jamais eu de problème de manque d'électricité ou d'eau chaude. Le coffre-fort de la chambre est inclus dans le prix. Le complexe semble être bien entretenu et réparé lorsque cela est nécessaire. Il y a plusieurs restaurants (nous avons fait 5 plats à la carte). La plage est propre. Bien qu'il y ait une certaine distance entre le hall et le reste du complexe, c'es [... lire plus]t une belle promenade pittoresque - ou vous pouvez prendre le trolley. Je dis que ce complexe est bon car il n'y a pas eu de grand facteur de surprise. Je lui donnerais une bonne note de 3 et non de 4 ou 4+ (comme il le prétend). L'inconvénient et la raison principale pour laquelle je ne lui donnerais pas une meilleure note est le buffet. Ayant beaucoup voyagé, j'ai fréquenté de nombreux buffets et je n'ai pas d'attentes particulièrement élevées. Celui-ci était répétitif - le déjeuner et le petit-déjeuner étaient tous les jours les mêmes. Le dîner changeait de thème tous les soirs. Lorsque l'on fait des recherches sur les complexes, il est difficile de s'y retrouver car il y a le Caribe Club et le Tropical Princess - les deux se trouvent sur la même propriété et je crois que le Tropical Princess n'est qu'une section de villas. Sinon, ils partagent toutes les commodités. Pendant mon séjour, 90 % des vacanciers étaient européens et je pense que le buffet doit répondre à cette demande (ce qui est logique), mais il y avait très peu de plats attrayants. Il y avait les plats de base - viande, pâtes, poisson - mais au-delà de cela, la plupart des accompagnements et des salades étaient des choix peu appétissants - cornichons, calamars, tranches de saucisses en saumure, etc. La nourriture était toujours bien cuisinée et personne n'a souffert de la faim, mais il a fallu faire preuve d'organisation et de créativité. J'ose dire que les buffets à Cuba étaient peut-être meilleurs qu'ici. Le personnel est poli et prêt à aider et je ne me suis jamais sentie obligée de donner un pourboire. Après avoir parlé avec d'autres passagers de notre vol qui ont séjourné dans d'autres centres de villégiature, le Caribe Club semble être l'un des meilleurs choix. Ce complexe semble également s'adresser aux familles - il y en avait pas mal pendant notre semaine. Dans de bonnes conditions (prix), j'y réfléchirais à nouveau.

"Nice" resort but no wow factor Just got home from a week at club caribe. The resort is "good". The room was clean and everything worked. Never had an issue with lack of electricity or hot water. The in room safe is included in the price. The resort appears to be well maintained and repaired when needed. There are several restaurants (we did 5 a la cart). The beach is clean. Although there is a distance between the lobby and rest of the resort it is a nice scenic walk - or you can take the trolley. I say this resort is good as there was no big wow factor. I would give it a solid 3 rating not a 4 or 4+ (as it claims). The downfall and main reason I wouldn't give it a higher rating was the Buffet. Having travelled a fair amount I have been to many buffets and don't have particularly high expectations. This one was repetitive - lunch and breakfast everyday the same. Supper did change theme every night. When researching resorts it can get confusing as there is the caribe club as well as the tropical princess - the two are on the same property and I believe the tropical princess is just one section of villas. Otherwise they share all amenities. While there 90% of the vacationers were European and I believe the buffet must cater to this (which makes sense) however in doing so there were very few dishes that were appealing. They had your basics- meat, pasta, fish but beyond that many of the side dishes and salads were unappetizing looking choices- pickles squid, wiener slices in brine etc. Food was always cooked properly and no one went hungry but it did take some planning and creativity. I venture to say that the buffets in Cuba may have been better than here. The staff are polite and willing to help and I never felt pressured to tip. After speaking with others on our flight who stayed at other resorts the caribe club sounds like it may be one of the better choices. This resort also appears to cater to families- there were quite a few there during our week. Under the right circumstances (price) I would consider it again.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Bon centre de villégiature.

La première impression reste gravée dans les mémoires. Le hall d'entrée est très beau et propre. Le personnel est très sympathique et arrangeant. Les insectes étaient présents et j'ai fini par passer des vacances misérables. Le personnel était sympathique. Il y avait un climatiseur bruyant qu'ils ont essayé de réparer mais ça n'a pas duré. Les animations au bord de la piscine, etc. n'étaient pas très sympathiques, mais nous sommes tous différents. A vous de voir.

Good resort. First appearance stays with you. The lobby very lovely and clean. Staff very friendly and accommodating. The bugs were present and I ended up with a miserable vacation. The staff were sympathic. Couple of things was an noisy air conditioner which they tried to fix but didn't last. The entertainment at pool side etc were not super friendly but we are all different. So you decide.

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Fantastic Resort

Nous avons été très impressionnés par l'aspect général du complexe. Les terrains sont bien entretenus et les gardiens ramassent constamment les feuilles mortes, taillent les haies et ramassent les détritus. Les chambres sont bien entretenues et le personnel de nettoyage est très aimable et désireux d'aider. Nos majordomes, Johsu et Staling, ont été formidables. Ils ont répondu à toutes nos demandes. Bon choix de restaurants avec un personnel sympathique. Notre dîner au restaurant Surf & Turf a é [... lire plus]té décevant car le homard était trop cuit et le bœuf était dur ou les couteaux émoussés. Le bœuf était également dur au restaurant italien. Le restaurant Bella Vista avec son buffet était super. Il y avait beaucoup de choix. Nous avons en fait pris du poids pendant notre séjour. Les fumeurs ont parfois gâché nos repas. Nous recommandons que tous les restaurants deviennent non-fumeurs. Nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps allongés au bord de la piscine où le personnel enthousiaste nous encourageait à participer à diverses activités allant du tir à l'arc au bingo. Si l'hôtel envisage de se refaire une beauté, nous recommandons de remplacer les toilettes basses par des toilettes à hauteur de confort. Les vols de et vers Punta Cana avec Sunwing ont été décevants. Nous étions assis dans la deuxième rangée mais lorsque le personnel est venu prendre la commande de nourriture, le produit que nous voulions n'était plus disponible ! Nous étions assis dans la deuxième rangée et peut-être trois plats de ce type avaient été servis. Incroyable ! C'était le chaos organisé lorsque nous sommes arrivés pour trouver notre moyen de transport vers le centre de villégiature. Au retour, l'avion est arrivé en retard à Punta Cana. Lorsque nous avons été autorisés à monter dans le bus qui devait nous conduire à l'avion, nous sommes restés assis dans le bus pendant environ une demi-heure sous le soleil brûlant de la porte d'embarquement. Après avoir embarqué dans l'avion, nous avons dû attendre encore 3/4 d'heure pendant qu'un couple qui s'était vu refuser l'entrée en RD était ramené à l'avion. Nous sommes partis avec une heure et demie de retard. Nous sommes très mécontents de Sunwing.

We were very impressed with the general appearance of the resort. Grounds were well maintained with grounds keepers constantly picking up dead leaves, trimming hedges and picking up litter. Rooms are well maintained and cleaning staff are very friendly and eager to assist. Our butlers, Johsu and Staling were terrific. They responded to our every request. Nice choice of restaurants with friendly staff. Our dinner at The Surf & Turf restaurant was a disappointment as the lobster was over done and the beef was tough or the knives were dull. The beef was also tough at the Italian Restaurant. The Bella Vista restaurant with its buffet was super. Choices galore. We actually gained weigh while at the resort. On occasion smokers detracted from our meals. We recommend that all restaurants be made smoke free. We spent most of our time lying next to the pool where eager staff encouraged us to participate in various activities ranging from archery to bingo. If the resort is planning to do a bit of a face lift, we recommend that they replace the low toilets with comfort height toilets. Flights to and from Punta Cana with Sunwing were disappointing.We were seated in the 2nd row but when the staff came to take the food order, the item we wanted was no longer available! Note, we were in the 2nd row and perhaps 3 such items had been served. Unbelievable! It was organized chaos when we arrived to find our transportation to the resort. On the return trip, the aircraft was late in arriving at Punta Cana. When we were allowed to board the bus to take us to the aircraft, we sat in the bus for about a half hour in the baking sun at the gate. After we boarded the aircraft, we had to wait another 3/4 of an hour while a couple who had been refused entry to DR were brought back to the aircraft. We left 1 1/2 hours late. We are very unhappy with Sunwing.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Hôtel étonnant

L'hôtel est flambant neuf, tout a été bien entretenu, tous les employés sont très gentils avec les familles et ce qu'ils font, ils sont heureux et souriants tout le temps et aussi très désireux d'aider quand c'est nécessaire, les chambres sont très confortables et dans l'ensemble c'était une expérience incroyable, j'y retournerai sans aucun doute.

Amazing Hotel The Hotel is brand new everything has been taken care well, all the workers are really good towards families and what they do, they are happy and smiling all the time and also very eager to help when need it, rooms are very comfortable and overall it was an amazing experience will definitely go back.

Grand Bavaro Princess: bonnes et mauvaises

la nourriture est bonne, le train de plage ne circule pas assez, il est totalement hors de contrôle, les vendeurs sur la plage et au resort ne vous laissent jamais tranquille, le casino est nul et il n'y a pas de bière gratuite le week-end, ils laissent les locaux envahir l'endroit et ils sont très impolis

good and bad good food beach train does not go around enough it is totally out of control the vendors on the beach and at the resort they never leave you alone casino sucks and no free beer on the weekend they let the locals invade the place and are very rude

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Déçu !!!!

Dans notre première chambre, l'air ne fonctionnait pas et après le troisième appel, je suis allée à la réception et j'ai demandé le directeur qui est alors venu dans notre chambre et nous a déplacés à 12h30 dans une autre chambre avec de l'air, après cela, les toilettes sont tombées en panne (ils sont venus et ont réparé), le sèche-cheveux est tombé en panne (ils sont venus et ont réparé), le ventilateur est tombé en panne (ils sont venus et ont réparé), mais l'air dans cette deuxième chambre ne [... lire plus] fonctionnait presque pas et rien n'a jamais été fait à ce sujet. La chambre n'a jamais été nettoyée, seules les serviettes et la literie ont été changées et faites, mais la salle de bain n'a pas été nettoyée du tout. Il faudrait VRAIMENT que je réfléchisse avant de séjourner à nouveau dans cet hôtel.

Disappointed!!!! Our first room the air didn't work that after the 3rd call I went down to the desk and asked for the manager who then came to our room and moved us at 12:30am to another room with air, after that the toilet broke ( they came and fixed) hair dryer broke ( they came and fixed) fan broke (they came and fixed) but the air in this second room hardly worked at all and nothing was ever done about it. The room was never cleaned just the towels and bedding changed and made but the bathroom not cleaned at all. I would REALLY have to think about staying there again.

Riu Republica: RIU Republica a été un moment extraordinaire ! J'y retournerais sans hésiter !

Ce complexe est destiné aux adultes qui veulent s'amuser et rencontrer une foule de personnes du monde entier partageant les mêmes idées. C'était une expérience très rafraîchissante par rapport aux centres de villégiature tout compris habituels, car ce centre est réservé aux adultes et a une ambiance différente. Je me suis fait une tonne de nouveaux amis du Canada, des États-Unis, du Royaume-Uni et de l'Argentine, ainsi que de nouveaux amis dominicains... Il faut dire que je suis déjà allé ci [... lire plus]nq fois en République dominicaine, mais c'est ce voyage qui a été le plus mémorable. La plage était géniale et propre.....Je suis triste d'écrire ce commentaire car cela signifie que je suis de retour à mon bureau !

RIU Republica was an amazing time! Would repeat in a heartbeat!! This resort is for adults who want to have a good time and meet a ton of like minded individuals from around the world. It was a very refreshing experience from the usual all inclusive resorts as this one is adults only and has a different vibe. I made a ton of new friends from Canada, the USA, UK and Argentina as well as some new Dominican friends ...mind you I have been to the DR 5 times before ...this trip was the most memorable, the event staff was amazing and the restaurants were ok.....not 5 star but acceptable and the buffet was good. The beach was awesome and clean.....I am sad writing this review as it means I am back at my desk!
