Riu Republica: J'ai hâte d'y retourner

C'était le meilleur all inclusive que j'ai jamais été trop et je voyage beaucoup. La station était propre, moderne et le personnel très sympathique. Beaucoup d'activités pour vous tenir occupé si vous voulez ou beaucoup d'espace pour simplement se détendre et se détendre . J'ai adoré le bar sportif ouvert 24 heures sur 24, si vous vouliez rester debout après la fermeture de la discothèque, vous pouviez le faire. La nourriture était excellente et il y avait beaucoup de restaurants à choisir pour  [... lire plus]ne pas manger la même chose jour après jour. Nous planifions déjà notre prochain voyage. Bravo à Riu Republica !!!!

Can’t wait to go back This was the best all inclusive I’ve ever been too and I travel a lot. Resort was clean, modern and staff very friendly. Plenty of activities to keep you busy if you want or lots of space to just relax and unwind . Loved the 24 hr sports bar so if you still wanted to stay up after the disco closed you could . Food was excellent and there were many restaurants to choose from so you didn’t eat the same thing day after day. We are already planning on our next trip back . Well done Riu Republica!!!!

Riu Republica: 5 étoiles sur toute la ligne !

J'ai voyagé ici en septembre et je n'aurais pas pu passer de meilleures vacances. Nous avons demandé et obtenu un surclassement gratuit dans une chambre avec vue sur la cour, ce qui nous a permis de voir les spectacles nocturnes depuis le balcon de notre chambre (les spectacles se terminent à 23 heures, ce qui n'a pas été un problème de nuisance sonore pour nous, car nous dormions vers minuit/1 heure du matin). La boîte de nuit ouvre à 23 heures. C'est un endroit petit mais assez amusant p [... lire plus]our se retrouver. Le but de notre voyage était de nager, de manger de bons plats et de nous détendre, nous n'étions donc pas très intéressés par l'aspect festif. Cependant, nous avons assisté à la soirée mousse du samedi soir, qui était très bien organisée avec la musique, un saxophoniste très talentueux qui jouait des morceaux du Top 40 et, bien sûr, un concours de danse qui était peut-être un peu inapproprié pour les personnes d'âge mûr (50+) qui constituent une grande partie de la clientèle de ce complexe hôtelier. La nourriture et le service étaient impeccables, à l'exception du restaurant italien, qui a servi une viande légèrement trop cuite ou trop sèche. Ce n'était pas un gros problème pour nous, car nous avons simplement sauté sur l'excellent buffet et y avons mangé ce soir-là. Les restaurants asiatique, espagnol et kulinarium east ont été nos restaurants de spécialités préférés. Les hors-d'œuvre du restaurant indien étaient excellents et les entrées correctes. Nous n'avons pas été malades, en fait nous n'avons eu aucun problème avec la glace, l'eau ou la nourriture, où que ce soit dans la station. Tout est impeccable, ce qui est d'autant plus impressionnant que l'hôtel est situé au bord de la plage et que le sable peut facilement et rapidement s'accumuler. Cependant, le personnel de nettoyage est omniprésent et travaille très dur pour garder les toilettes de la piscine impeccables. N'hésitez pas à donner un généreux pourboire aux serveurs et au personnel de nettoyage, car ils le méritent vraiment, compte tenu du travail harassant qu'ils accomplissent ! Les toboggans aquatiques étaient très amusants, mais faites attention si vous êtes claustrophobe ou si vous avez peur des toboggans abrupts. La piscine de fête diffusait de la musique du Top 40 et il y avait au moins 4 ou 5 piscines beaucoup plus grandes qui étaient plus calmes et plus orientées vers la détente. Nous avons apprécié de nous détendre et d'écouter le top 40 au bord de la piscine de fête, qui est généralement très calme et n'a rien d'extravagant. Cependant, l'avant-dernier jour, un énorme groupe de nudistes d'âge mûr est arrivé au centre de villégiature. Ces femmes de 50 à 60 ans étaient seins nus à la piscine et à la plage. Même beaucoup d'hommes étaient mal à l'aise, d'autant plus que ces femmes n'étaient ni jeunes ni attirantes. Nous avons fini par quitter la piscine parce qu'elle était devenue un environnement nudiste étrange et mature, auquel nous n'étions pas préparés et que nous n'avions pas envie de côtoyer. C'était le seul point négatif, mais nous nous sommes éloignés d'elles et tout s'est bien passé. Les clients du complexe sont principalement des couples d'âge moyen/retraités ou âgés de 20 à 30 ans. Si vous êtes un groupe de célibataires cherchant à rencontrer d'autres célibataires, je ne suis pas sûr que ce soit l'endroit idéal. Nous y sommes allés simplement pour nous détendre, profiter de la plage et manger de bons plats, et ce centre de villégiature a donc répondu à nos besoins. Dans l'ensemble, je le recommanderais sans hésiter.

5 stars all around! I travelled here in September and couldn't have had a better vacation. We asked for and recieved a free upgrade to a courtyard view room where we could see the nightly theatre entertainment from our bedroom balcony (the theatre shows end by 11pm so that wasn't a noise disturbance concern for us because we slept around midnight/1am). The nightclub opens at 11pm. It's a small but fun enough place to hangout. The purpose of our trip was to swim, eat good food and relax, so we didn't care too much for the party aspect. However, we did check out the Saturday evening foam party, which was so well done with the music, a very talented saxophonist who played against top 40 instrumentals, and of course, a dance competition that was perhaps a tad inappropriate for some of the more mature crowd (50+) that makes up a large part of this resort's clientele. The food and service was impeccable throughout, minus the Italian restaurant, which served slightly overcooked/dried looking meat. It wasn't a huge issue for us, as we simply hopped over to the excellent buffet and ate there that night. The asian, spanish, and kulinarium east were our favourite specialty restaurants. The indian restaurant appetizers were excellent and the entrees were okay. We didn't get sick, in fact we had no issues with the ice, water or food anywhere on the resort. Everything is kept spotless, which is especially impressive considering this is by the beach and sand could easily and quickly build up. However, the cleaning staff is ever-present and works extremely hard to keep even the pool washrooms spotless. Please tip the wait and cleaning staff generously as they truly deserve it with the backbreaking work they do! The waterslides were a lot of fun but do be careful if you're claustrophobic or scared of steep slides. The party pool had top 40 music and there were at least 4 or 5 much larger pools that were quieter/more relaxation-oriented. We enjoyed relaxing and listening to the top 40 by the party pool, which is generally very tame and nothing crazy. However, on our second last day, a huge group of mature nudists arrived at the resort. These 50 to 60 year old women were topless at the party pool and beach and it was very random and strange for us to see. Even a lot of the men were uncomfortable, especially considering these women weren't young or attractive. We ended up leaving the party pool because it became this strange mature nudist environment, which we weren't prepared for nor interested in being around. This was the only negative but we just moved away from them and it was fine. The resort's guests are mainly couples who are middle- aged/retired or in their late 20s to 30s. If you're a group of singles looking to meet other singles, I'm not sure this is the place to do it. We went simply to relax, enjoy the beach, and eat good food, so this resort met our needs. Overall, I would definitely recommend.

TRS Turquesa: L'endroit idéal pour se faire dorloter

Magnifique complexe, nourriture délicieuse et personnel sympathique. Tout était parfait. L'endroit a été recommandé par Jean à Trip Central et c'était l'endroit et les vacances parfaits pour nous. Lits confortables, chambres propres. Nous y retournerons certainement.

Voici les avantages et les inconvénients de ce que j'ai pensé du centre de villégiature : Pour : - Le terrain était bien entretenu. - Un bon choix de restaurants, en particulier le café. - Présence de la sécurité sur la plage. - Des lieux de divertissement décents le matin, l'après-midi et le soir. - La chambre était propre. - Le personnel était très agréable. Inconvénients : - La plage était pleine d'algues et l'eau était très trouble. Cela peut être dû à la période de l'année. - [... lire plus] Le sèche-cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. J'en ai informé le concierge qui m'a promis qu'il serait réparé. J'y suis resté une semaine et il n'a jamais été remplacé ou réparé. - Le climatiseur ne fonctionnait pas bien. Pendant les soirées chaudes, j'ai dû allumer le ventilateur pour compenser le manque d'efficacité du climatiseur. - Le concierge semblait uniquement préoccupé par la vente d'un programme de multipropriété. - La chambre était datée et a vraiment besoin d'être améliorée. - Le prix des excursions de l'hôtel et de Nexus était trop élevé par rapport aux opérateurs extérieurs. Par exemple, pour l'excursion à Saona, l'hôtel m'a proposé 100 USD, Nexus 99 USD et l'opérateur extérieur 55 USD. Devinez quelle option j'ai choisie ?

Above Average Resort Here are the pros and cons of what I thought about the resort: Pros: - The grounds were well kept and maintained. - A nice selection of restaurants, especially the coffee shop. - Security presence on the beach. - Decent entertainment venues during the mornings, afternoons and evenings. - The room was clean. - The staff was very pleasant. Cons: - The beach was full of seaweed and the water was very cloudy and murky. It might be due to the time of the year. - The hair dryer was not working. I informed the concierge and he promised that it would be fixed. I was there for a week and it was never replaced or fixed. - The air conditioner wasn't working well. During the warm evening, I had to turn on the fan in order to compensate for the lack of efficiency from the air conditioner. - The concierge seemed to be only concern about selling me a time-share program. - The room was dated and really needs an upgrade. - The price of the excursions from the hotel and Nexus was too expensive compared to the outside operators. For example, the Saona excursion, the hotel quoted me $100 USD, Nexus quoted me $99 USD and the outside operator quoted $55 USD. Guess which option I went with?

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Encore une fois, c'est formidable.

Complexe fantastique. C'est la deuxième fois que je séjourne au Beach (adultes seulement) et je l'ai apprécié tout autant que la première fois. Le complexe est très bien entretenu, le personnel est sympathique et il y a toujours un bon choix de nourriture.

Great, again. Fantastic resort. This is the second time I've stayed at the Beach (adults only) and enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The resort is very well maintained, the staff are friendly and there is always a good selection of food.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Merveilleux

La nourriture était excellente ! J'adore tous les restaurants ! La chambre était grande et spacieuse ! Ma fille a passé un très bon moment dans la piscine et dans le parc aquatique. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé un excellent séjour au Grand Bahia ! Tout le monde était merveilleux !

Wonderful The food was great! I love all the restaurants! Room was big and spacious! My daughter had a wonderful time in the swimming pool nonstop and the water park. Overall, I had a awesome time at Grand Bahia! Everybody was wonderful!

Malgré le fait que l'hôtel soit magnifique, nos invités et nous-mêmes avons continuellement rencontré des problèmes de service dès notre arrivée. Nos invités et nous-mêmes avons continuellement rencontré des problèmes avec le service dès notre arrivée. Désorganisation ! Nous avons payé pour un certain forfait et ne l'avons pas reçu. Il a fallu 2 à 3 jours pour que les problèmes soient résolus et certains ne l'ont pas été. Nous avons trouvé que le représentant d'Air Transat n'était pas très  [... lire plus]serviable et qu'il nous parlait sans cesse. Nous ne voulions plus avoir affaire à lui. Notre mariage et notre coordinatrice de mariage ont été le point fort du voyage. Elle nous a fait sentir les bienvenus et s'est pliée en quatre pour nous aider. Elle était organisée et accessible. Tout compte fait, j'aimerais bien demander à être remboursé pour la partie vacances. Je n'en ai pas eu pour mon argent.

Our wedding and vacation Despite the fact the resort was beautiful. Our guests and us continually ran into problems with service from the very time we arrived. Disorganized! We paid for a certain package and didn’t receive it. It took 2-3days for problems to be solved and some weren’t solved. We found The Air Transat Rep not very helpful and would talk over us. Didn’t really want to deal with him anymore. Our wedding and our wedding coordinator were the highlight of the trip. She made us feel welcomed and bent over backwards to help us. She was organized and approachable. All in all I would love to ask for my money back for the vacation part. Didn’t get the bang for my buck.

Emplacement parfait, directement sur la plage. Accès facile aux stations balnéaires voisines. Très accueillant pour les enfants. Aire de jeux pour toutes les tranches d'âge. Personnel extraordinaire, très accueillant. Chambre propre et soignée. La nourriture est excellente !

Amazing resort! Perfect location, right on the beach. Easy access to adjoining resorts. Very kids friendly. Play area for every age group of kids. Amazing staff, very welcoming. Room was neat and clean. Food is great!

Ocean Blue and Sand: Fabulous Resort

Ce centre de villégiature est génial. Les terrains sont très bien entretenus, les chambres très propres, les restaurants sont excellents, le personnel d'animation est formidable. La piscine est agréable. Nous étions près de la plage. Les activités sur la plage étaient amusantes. Nous avons fait une excursion sur l'île de Saona, mais la journée a été trop longue et il y a eu trop de montées et de descentes de bateaux. A part l'excursion, je n'ai rien à redire. J'ai hâte de retourner à l'Ocean Blu [... lire plus]e and Sand.

This resort is awesome. The grounds are very well looked after, rooms very clean, restaurants are excellent, entertainment staff are great. The staff were great.Pool is nice. We were close to the beach. Beach activities were fun. Went on one excursion to Saona Island but it was too long a day.There was too much climbing on and off boats as well. Other than the excursion I have no complaints. I am looking forward to going back to Ocean Blue and Sand.

Des terrains propres et un personnel très sympathique. Toujours en train d'interagir avec les enfants et d'essayer de les faire participer. Mes enfants ont adoré les spectacles et il y avait toujours des activités différentes pour eux. La nourriture était correcte. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts. Le resto dominicain était notre préféré.

Amazing resort for young families Clean grounds and such friendly staff. Always interacting with the kids and trying to get them engaged. My kids loved the shows and there was always different activities for them. Food was decent. There was something for everyone. Dominican resto was our favorite.

Cet hôtel a été conçu pour les familles avec enfants. Les installations, la nourriture, les divertissements, le personnel ont été conçus pour les familles avec enfants. L'hôtel est propre, les salles de bains sont facilement accessibles, il y a des spectacles pour enfants tous les soirs, le personnel se promène en permanence pour demander si tout va bien ou si nous avons besoin de quelque chose, et ils sont tous formidables avec les enfants !

Amazing kid friendly resort This hotel was made for families with kids. The facilities, the food, the entertainment, the staff was tailored for family with kids. It was clean, there are clean bathrooms everywhere easily accessible, there are shows for kids every night, staff walking around at all time asking if we are ok or need anything, and they are all amazing with kids!

Riu Republica: Un lieu de villégiature unique en son genre

Ce complexe est absolument incroyable ! ils ont tellement de divertissements et toujours autant de nourriture à servir. ils prennent aussi le all inclusive à un autre niveau. si les divertissements sont loin d'un bar, ils installeront une table avec de l'alcool et s'assureront que vous n'êtes jamais loin des boo's. leur plage était si propre et si apaisante.

Resort like no other This resort is absolutely amazing! they have so much entertainment and always so much food on hand to serve. they also take all inclusive to another level. if entertainment is away from a bar they will set up a table with alcohol and ensure you never far away from boo's. their beach was so clean and so calming.

Riu Republica: Des gens formidables, un endroit formidable !

Le complexe était excellent, la nourriture était très variée, suffisamment pour ne pas avoir le même repas deux fois par semaine. Les chambres étaient très modernes, sans insectes. Il y a des fenêtres givrées qui donnent sur la douche depuis la pièce principale, donc si ce n'est pas votre truc, faites attention. L'absence de service de chambre a été un frein après avoir manqué le dîner un soir. Le Maccao est le meilleur bar, l'atmosphère est vraiment agréable et les barmans Joaquin, Isabel et No [... lire plus]el sont parmi les meilleurs Ils se sont vraiment surpassés ! La plage était magnifique et avait suffisamment d'espace et d'ombre pour s'adapter. Il y a beaucoup de piscines à choisir, que vous vouliez faire la fête ou simplement vous détendre. Je recommanderais sans aucun doute le Riu Republica, en fait j'en ai entendu parler par un ami et j'en parlerai certainement à d'autres amis.

Great people, great place! The resort was excellent, food was great with a decent variety, enough to not have the same meal twice through the week. The rooms were very modern, no bugs. There are frosted windows looking the shower from the main room though so if that's not your thing beware. No room service was a drag after missing dinner one night. Maccao is the best bar, real nice atmosphere and some of the best bartenders around in Joaquin, Isabel, and Noel! They seriously went above and beyond! The beach was beautiful and had enough space + shade to accomodate. A lot of pools to choose from whether you want to party or just relax. Would definitely recommend the Riu Republica, in fact I learned about it through a friend and I will definitely be telling other friends about it.

Bien organisé, la nourriture est excellente, les chambres sont propres. Les piscines sont propres, tout le personnel est très coopératif. La nourriture à la plage était bonne et le service du personnel à tous les touristes était bon.

Terrain de villégiature agréable. La qualité de la nourriture pourrait être meilleure. Personnes sympathiques. Les enfants ont adoré le parc aquatique. Les réservations au restaurant étaient compliquées. Nécessité d'améliorer le service à la clientèle. Les agents du club Prevelige étaient agaçants et impolis.

Nice resort Nice resort ground. Food quality could be better. Friendly people. Kids loved the water park. Restaurant Reservations was a hassle. Need to improve customer service. Prevelige club agents were annoying and rude.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Paradis tropical

J'ai passé un excellent moment au Caribe Club Princess. Excellent service, chambres bien entretenues et propres, accessibilité à la plage, à la piscine, au théâtre, etc. Service de navette chaque fois que nécessaire ! La nourriture était excellente... le personnel de service était amical et divertissant... je reviendrai certainement ! Xoxo jusqu'à la prochaine fois Caribe Club Princess !

Tropical Paradise Had an amazing and wonderful time at Caribe Club Princess. Excellent service, well maintained and clean rooms, accessibility to beach, pool, theater etc., was great. Occidental Caribe: Grand centre de villégiature !

Superbe centre de villégiature ! Excellent choix de nourriture au buffet. J'y retournerais avec toute la famille pour une bonne fête de vacances. J'ai même mangé une bonne pizza pendant que je regardais les gens faire du parachute ascensionnel.

Great Resort! Awesome resort! Had excellent food choices at the buffet. Good service at the bars.Would go back with the whole family for a good vacation party. Even had a nice pizza lunch while watching people go parasailing.
