Hôtel étonnant

L'hôtel était très propre et rénové il y a peu de temps. Il était situé sur la plage qui avait beaucoup de chaises et d'espace pour se détendre, ainsi que les piscines. Beaucoup d'activités à faire. Proche de l'aéroport. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour.

Amazing Hotel The hotel was very clean and revenovated a short time ago. It was located on beach which had lots of chairs and space for relaxing, as well as the pools. Lots of activities to do. Close to airport. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Magnifique centre de villégiature !

Le Riu Cancun était magnifique ! Nous avons séjourné dans de nombreux complexes hôteliers, mais celui-ci était probablement le plus propre et le plus moderne que nous ayons connu. Le personnel de la réception a été très accommodant, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et cela n'a pas posé de problème. Le personnel de nettoyage a toujours travaillé dur et n'a jamais vu de saleté. Il faut généralement beaucoup de temps pour obtenir une boisson au bar, mais les barmans font un excellent travail [... lire plus]. Les boissons étaient excellentes ! Je ne sais pas pourquoi j'ai pensé qu'en réservant un hôtel 5 étoiles, je n'aurais pas à faire l'expérience des jeunes fêtards, mais c'est ce qui s'est passé ! J'aime bien m'amuser aussi, croyez-moi, mais j'ai une trentaine d'années et je me suis sentie vraiment vieille là-bas ! à part ça, c'était quand même des vacances géniales ! Nous avons trouvé une piscine tranquille, la nourriture était bonne et l'Oceanview était incroyable !

Beautiful Resort! Riu Cancun was beautiful! We have stayed at many resorts, but this was probably the cleanest most modern one we have been to. The staff were very accommodating at the front desk as we requested to change rooms and it was no problem. The cleaning staff were always working hard..never saw any dirt. It does take a long time to get a drink at the bar usually, but the bartenders do a great job. Drinks were amazing! The only thing about the resort was that there was a lot of spring-breakers there...I don't know why I thought that if I booked a 5-star resort, I wouldn't have to experience the young party scene, but we did! I like to have a good time too, trust me, but I'm in my early 30s and felt really old there! other than that, it was still a great vacation! We found a quiet pool, food was Good and Oceanview wad amazing!

Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Nous venons de rentrer du Riu Cancun, tout était parfait... hôtel moderne, très propre, nous avions une chambre au 12ème étage, la vue était incroyable. situé au centre de tout. La plage était propre et l'eau était assez chaude, juste quelques minutes de marche sur la plage après le Riu Palace, la plage était parfaite, peu profonde, l'eau claire, sablonneuse... très chaude pour nager ou simplement prendre le soleil. Qui a dit que les eaux de Cancun sont agitées ? ce n'est pas vrai. Aucun point n [... lire plus]égatif sur l'hôtel. La nourriture était très bonne, il se passait toujours quelque chose au bord de la piscine, il y en avait pour tous les âges. Le personnel était sympathique et arrangeant. La seule chose qui était un peu bizarre, c'est que le superviseur adjoint de l'hôtel voulait nous faire payer 100 dollars US pour 4 heures supplémentaires dans notre chambre. Nous avons demandé à la réception plus tôt dans la matinée si nous pouvions rester, on nous a dit oui, au premier étage pour 50 $ jusqu'à 16 heures. Lorsque nous sommes revenus pour quitter notre chambre à midi et déplacer nos bagages au premier étage jusqu'au départ, tout à coup le superviseur de l'hôtel a dit, pas de chambres disponibles, mais c'est 100 $ si nous le voulons, il peut nous trouver une chambre.... Nous avons eu l'impression qu'il essayait de nous arnaquer, alors nous avons refusé nous avons senti qu'il essayait de nous arnaquer, alors nous avons refusé. Dans l'ensemble, nous retournerions au Riu Cancun, mais il y a tellement de nouveaux hôtels sympas autour, même 3,5 étoiles qui sont très bons et beaucoup moins chers, la plage est bien meilleure, à quelques minutes seulement.

amazing Resort ! Just returned form Riu Cancun, all was perfect.. modern Hotel, very clean, we had a room on 12th floor, view was amazing. located center of everything. Beach was clean and water was quite warm, just few minute walk down the beach past Riu Palace, the beach was perfect shallow, clear, sandy water.. very warm for swimming or just soaking in the sun. Who said, Cancun has rough waters? not true . No negatives on Hotel at all. Food was very good, always something happening at pool areas, something for all ages. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The only thing that was kind of sketchy is that assistant Hotel Supervisor wanted to charge us $100.00 US dollars for 4 hrs extra stay in our room. We asked the front desk earlier in the morning if we can stay, we were told yes, on the first floor for $50.00 until 4pm. when we came back to check out from our room at noon and move our luggage to 1st floor until departure, all the sudden Hotel supervisor said, no rooms available, but its $100.00 if we want it, he can find us a room.. Sketchy.. we felt he was trying to rip us off, so we refused. All in all we would return to Riu Cancun, but there are so many new nice hotels around, even 3.5 stars that are very good and lot cheaper, beach is way better, just minutes away.

Excellent centre de villégiature

Dès mon arrivée à l'hôtel, le professionnalisme a été exceptionnel. Tout le personnel était amical, accueillant et informatif. L'hôtel est impeccable et a dépassé mes attentes. La nourriture était excellente, des plats à la carte aux buffets en passant par les barbecues. Les barmen étaient très sociables et savaient très bien comment préparer les nombreux cocktails proposés. Je n'ai rien à redire !

Excellent Resort From the moment I arrived to the hotel the professionalism was exceptional. All of the staff were friendly, inviting and informative. The hotel is spotless and was beyond my expectations. The food was great from the a la cartes to the buffets and lunch barbecues. The bartenders were very social and had a very good understanding of how to make the numerous cocktails offered. No complaints at all!

Grand centre de villégiature

Nous sommes allés 10 fois au Mexique - principalement sur la Riviera Maya - et avons séjourné dans 3 établissements RIU. Nous avons apprécié le Riu Cancun, il était très propre, le personnel était fantastique et le complexe était très bien situé. La plage était magnifique, les piscines étaient superbes - toutes donnant sur l'océan - la vue depuis notre chambre avec vue sur l'océan était exceptionnelle. Ma seule critique est que ce n'était pas un complexe idéal pour les familles et que le club po [... lire plus]ur enfants n'était pas génial.

Great resort We have been to Mexico 10 times - mostly the Mayan Riviera - and have stayed at 3 RIU properties. We enjoyed the Riu Cancun, it was very clean, the staff was fantastic, and the resort was in a great location. The beach was beautiful, the pools were great - all overlooking the ocean - view from our ocean view room was outstanding. My only criticism is that it was not an ideal family resort & the kids club was not great.

Station balnéaire spectaculaire !

Cet hôtel est absolument magnifique, j'ai été séduit dès notre arrivée. Le personnel était extrêmement professionnel, serviable et très amical. Les chambres, le terrain et le lobby étaient TOUJOURS nettoyés. J'ai eu l'impression de ne jamais voir de sable ou de poussière nulle part. Le terrain de l'hôtel n'est pas très grand car il s'agit d'un immeuble de grande hauteur, mais il est tout de même à couper le souffle. L'hôtel s'étend assez loin vers l'eau, donc l'espace de plage directement derriè [... lire plus]re l'hôtel est un peu court, mais si vous allez sur le côté gauche, il y a plus d'espace et un terrain de volley-ball de plage ! La nourriture était innombrable et incroyable ! Il y avait une telle variété de plats bien préparés que tout le monde est sûr de trouver quelque chose qu'il aime ! Les restaurants à la carte étaient très agréables, j'ai particulièrement apprécié le restaurant japonais et le steakhouse. Je reviendrai certainement au Riu - c'est une grande chaîne d'hôtels et le Riu Cancun a définitivement dépassé toutes mes attentes. ** Je voulais aussi noter que nous étions là pendant la première semaine des vacances de printemps américaines et nous avons remarqué que la qualité du service avait légèrement baissé depuis l'arrivée des spring breakers. C'est certainement justifié car c'était tout simplement trop fou de suivre tout, mais malgré cela, c'était toujours incroyable de voir à quel point le personnel a géré l'afflux géant de voyageurs et de fêtards fous.

Spectacular Resort! This hotel was absolutely beautiful, I was taken away from the moment we arrived. The staff were extremely professional, helpful and very friendly. The rooms/grounds/lobby were ALWAYS being cleaned literally I felt like I never saw sand or dust anywhere. The hotel grounds isn't very large as it is a high rise but it was still breath taking. The hotel extends pretty far towards the water so the beach space directly behind the hotel is kind of short, however is you go over to the left side thre is more space and beach volleyball court! The food was endless and amazing! There was such a large variety of well prepared food that everyone is bound to find something they love! The a-la-carte restaurants were very nice, I particularly enjoyed the Japanese and the Steakhouse. I will definitely be back to the Riu they are a great chain of hotels and the Riu Cancun definitely exceeded all my expectations. ** I also wanted to note that we were there during the first week of American Spring break and we noticed that the service quality had dropped slightly since the spring breakers had arrived. This is definitely warranted as it was just too crazy to keep up with everything but despite that it was still amazing how well the Staff handled the giant influx of travellers and crazy party people.

Vacances de rêve

Tout était parfait, paisible et relaxant, le personnel était très accueillant, serviable et aimable, j'ai vraiment apprécié et j'ai reçu des remerciements spéciaux de la part de l'équipage. J'espère que tout le monde pourra faire l'expérience d'un tel voyage.

Belle station balnéaire

Le Riu Cancun est un excellent complexe hôtelier que je recommande vivement. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable, le terrain est très bien entretenu et extrêmement propre, la nourriture est incroyable, il y en a pour tous les goûts et les vins sont excellents... il ne faut pas oublier le vin et les boissons lol. J'y retournerais sans hésiter. J'ai adoré

Beautiful resort Riu Cancun is an excellent resort I highly recommend it. The staff are very friendly and helpful the grounds are very well kept and and extremely clean, The food was amazing a lot to choose from for all tastes and great wine...can't forget the wine and drinks lol.. I totally would go back without hesitation. Loved it

D'excellents services

Très bon environnement avec un excellent service. Nous avons apprécié tout notre séjour dans le resort avec une vue magnifique. Pendant notre séjour, l'hôtel était presque plein, mais le service était si bon que ma femme et moi avions l'impression d'être des VIP dans cet hôtel.

excellent services Very good enviroment with an excellent services. we enjoed entire our stay in the resort with a beutifull view. In the time we were there the hotel almost was full, but the service was so good that me and my wife all the time had filling that we are VIP in this hotel.
