Un grand moment

Les vues depuis les chambres, les piscines et les salles à manger sont fantastiques. Tout le monde travaille dur et est très amical. La nourriture est excellente. Ils ont un assortiment de choses à faire, et se promener sur le hip strip était sûr pendant la journée.

Great time The views from the rooms as well as pools and dining areas are fantastic. Everyone works hard and is very friendly. Food great. They have an assortment of things to do,and walking on hip strip was safe during the day.

Pas un grand centre de villégiature

C'était notre deuxième année au Decameron et ce n'était pas aussi bien que la première fois. La nourriture n'était pas excellente mais le personnel était formidable. Nous avons vu un homme mourir sur la plage et le sauveteur a essayé très fort de le réanimer mais malheureusement il était trop tard. Je n'ai vu aucun responsable pour aider sa femme et à part le sauveteur, il n'y avait qu'un client qui lui faisait du bouche à bouche. J'aurais pensé que la station aurait eu un défibrillateur et qu'i [... lire plus]l y aurait eu un plan en place pour un tel événement. Je ne voudrais pas qu'il m'arrive quoi que ce soit dans ce centre de villégiature.

Not a great resort This was our second year at the Decameron and it was not as good as the first time. The food was not great but the staff were great. We saw a man die on the beach and the life guard tried so very hard to revive him but unfortunately it was to late. I did not see any management there to help his wife and other than the life guard there was only a guest giving mouth to mouth. I would have thought the resort would have had a defibrillator and there would have been a plan in place for such an event. I would not want anything happening to me at that resort.

L'hôtel a besoin d'être rénové

Les chambres étaient horribles. Le carrelage tombait du mur. Le câble ne fonctionnait pas. L'eau se coupe pendant la douche. Les toilettes ne tirent pas la chasse d'eau. Fuite d'eau... dans l'ensemble l'entretien de la chambre était méchant.... extrêmement déçu et découragé par la rouille et la moisissure dans les coins et la salle de bain

Hotel needs renovation Rooms were horrible. Tiles falling out the wall. Cable did not work. Water shuts off while taking a shower. Toilet does not flush. Water leaking.. overall room maintenance was nasty.... extremely disappointed and turned off from the rust and mold in corners and bathroom

Excellent centre de villégiature

Mon mari et moi avons vraiment apprécié le personnel de l'hôtel, très accueillant et accommodant ! À la réception, Mlle Jodi-Ann Johnson et Moeisha Donald sont toutes deux de merveilleux exemples de services à la clientèle ! Jamais nous n'avons eu à demander quoi que ce soit, les deux dames reconnaissant toujours notre présence et nous demandant si nous avions besoin de quelque chose de ne pas hésiter à les appeler, et ce traitement aimable a été fourni à tous les invités !!! M. Demar Thomas  [... lire plus]a une âme bienveillante, son accueil des nouveaux arrivants va bien au-delà de sa description de poste, comme en témoigne l'attention supplémentaire qu'il porte à tous les clients et un pas de plus pour ceux qui ont des limitations physiques. Dans la salle à manger, Mlle Stacey Campbell, M. Tyrese, Mlle Sandra, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns, nous ont toujours accueillis, ainsi que tous les clients, avec les plus beaux sourires, mais le personnel de l'hôtel a tous les plus beaux sourires ! Mon mari avait oublié un objet dans l'avion, nous avons été accueillis par Mlle Ann Marie qui est intervenue et a récupéré l'objet de mon mari en l'espace d'une heure ! Cela a été d'une importance capitale pour mon mari !

Excellent Resort Both my husband and I truly enjoyed the very welcoming and accommodating hotel staff!! At the Front Desk, Miss Jodi-Ann Johnson and Moeisha Donald both wonderful examples of amazing client services!!! Never ever did we have to ask for anything, both Ladies always acknowledging our presence and inquiring if we needed anything to not hesitate to call for them, and this kind treatment was provided to all guests!! Mr Demar Thomas has a kind soul, his welcoming of newly arrived guests goes far beyond his job description, this demonstrated by his extra attention to all guests and one step further for those who have physical limitations. In the dining room, Miss Stacey Campbell, Mr. Tyrese, Miss Sandra to name just a very few always greeted us and all guests with the most amazing smiles, but then your hotel staff all have the most beautiful smiles!! But we would also like to give a special thank you to Miss Ann Marie, your Client Service Specialist for Air Transat, my husband had forgotten an item on the plane, we were greeted by Miss Ann Marie who took action and got my husband's item within just an hour!! This meant the world for my husband!!

Royal Decameron Montego Beach

Notre récent séjour au Royal Decameron Montego Beach Jamaïque a été parfait. Nous sommes des habitués, mais nous avions de la famille qui venait avec nous et c'était la première fois que nous venions en Jamaïque. Nous avons été ravis de retrouver le personnel familier, la nourriture était fantastique et nous n'aurions pas pu demander un meilleur hébergement. Nous aimons ce complexe, nous nous sentons comme à la maison, pas de surprises, nous savons à quoi nous attendre et nous aimons cela. Our recent stay at the Royal Decameron Montego Beach Jamaica was perfect. We are repeat guests, but had family come with that we're first timers to Jamaica. Lovely to see familiar staff, food was fantastic, couldn't have asked for better accommodations. We love this resort, feels like home for us, no surprises, we know what to expect and we like that. Our family loved the Decameron so much, I am sure they will be back and will probably suggest it to their friends too.

90% accessible aux scooters !!!

Nous avons été agréablement surpris, à vrai dire. J'ai certains problèmes physiques et j'ai besoin d'un appareil de mobilité (scooter) pour me déplacer. J'ai pu aller d'un bout à l'autre de la station sans trop de difficultés. Nous avons trouvé le personnel de divertissement, les sauveteurs, la sécurité et la plupart des employés du bar très polis et amicaux. Notre chambre était toujours propre. Merci au personnel de ménage. Les équipements étaient excellents. Nous avons aimé les deux pisc [... lire plus]ines... au cas où vous vous sentiriez un peu moins turbulents, il y a une piscine plus calme derrière le bar de la piscine. Nous avons quelques suggestions à faire, mais dans l'ensemble... "Oui, nous reviendrons !

90% Scooter accessible!!! We were pleasantly surprised, to tell you the truth. I have certain physical challenges and I require a mobility device (scooter) to get around. I was able to go from one end of the resort, to the other, with little restriction. We found the entertainment staff, lifeguards, security, and most of the bar staff, to be very polite and friendly. Our room was always clean. Thanks to the housekeeping staff. The amenities were great. We liked the two pools...in case your feeling a little less rowdy, there is a quieter pool behind the swim up pool bar area. We have a few suggestions, but overall... "Hell Yeah, We'd Come Back"!!

Royal Decameron Montego Beach - Jamaca

Notre visite à Jamica a été excellente. Le Royal Decameron est un bon hôtel pour ceux qui ont un budget limité et qui veulent profiter de l'île. La plage est magnifique et la piscine est également très belle et propre. Les animations nocturnes étaient excellentes. Le service est également très bon et le personnel est sympathique.

Our visit to Jamica was great. The Royal Decameron is a good hotel to stay at if you have a budget to work with at the same time enjoy the island. The beach is beautiful and pool too is very nice and clean. The night entertainment was great. Service too was very good and staff are friendly.

Excellent centre de villégiature !

Pas le top du top mais des chambres propres, de belles vues sur l'océan, à proximité du strip branché, un personnel formidable et une bonne nourriture. Je recommanderais ce complexe à mes amis. J'ai passé des vacances extraordinaires ! Les chambres du dernier étage avec vue sur l'océan sont les plus belles.

Great resort! Not your top notch but clean rooms, great oceanviews, close to the hip strip and wonderful staff and good food. Would recommend this resort to friends. Had an amazing vacation!! Top floor ocean view rooms are the best views.

Excellente situation !

L'hôtel était très bien ! Je dirais un 5 étoiles par rapport aux 5 étoiles cubains ! La nourriture était bonne ! Les divertissements étaient amusants et le personnel était sympathique ! J'ai adoré le fait d'être dans le quartier branché pour faire du shopping pendant la journée et aller faire la fête à Margaritaville le soir ! Dans l'ensemble, un excellent voyage ! Les sports nautiques gratuits étaient un bonus et la proximité de tout a permis de se déplacer facilement

Great location! The hotel was very nice! I would say a 5 star compared to Cuban 5 stars! food was good! Entertainment was fun and staff was friendly! Loved being on the hip strip to walk to and shop during the day and go party at Margaritaville at night! Overall a great trip! The free water sports were a bonus and proximity to everything made it easy to get around

Royal Decameron Montego Beach

Hôtel/resort de petite taille agréable. Pas de file d'attente pour quoi que ce soit. Très bonne nourriture. Chambre confortable. Personnel sympathique. Les spectacles du soir étaient un peu nuls. Le Hip Strip était décevant. Beaucoup de vendeurs insistants. Nous avons loué un taxi pour une excursion d'une journée non programmée à Negril. L'argent en valait la peine. Moment fort de l'excursion. Déjeuner au restaurant "Canoe" sur la plage. Meilleur repas de la semaine et ils font des Ceasars [... lire plus] !

Nice small size hotel/resort. No waiting in line for anything. Great food. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Evening shows were a bit lame. Hip Strip was underwhelming. Lots of pushy vendors. Hired a taxi for a non scheduled day trip to Negril. Well worth the money. Highlight of the trip. Have lunch at the "Canoe" beachside restaurant. Best food of the week and they make Ceasars!

Décaméron royal

Très propre Nourriture étonnante L'extérieur était très bien entretenu Le service était excellent Personnel sympathique Magnifique paysage Les divertissements étaient agréables, nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité grâce à la présence d'un service de sécurité, à proximité de l'aéroport. Le seul reproche est qu'il n'y a pas d'horloge dans l'hôtel ni de réveil dans les chambres.

Royal Decameron Very clean Amazing food Outside was very well kept Service was great Friendly staff Beautiful scenery Entertainment was enjoyable, felt safe with security on hand , close to airport . Only complaint is there is no clocks around the hotel or alarm clocks in the bedrooms.

Le Royal Decameron Montego Beach était très agréable, situé sur la plage avec une vue sur Montego Bay avec notre chambre 421 avec vue sur l'océan, ce qui était la première fois que nous avions une chambre avec vue sur l'océan. La chambre était grande, facile à se déplacer, propre et la salle de bain aussi, sauf pour le réglage de l'eau chaude à l'eau froide, mais après avoir été sur la plage toute la journée, qui a besoin d'eau chaude juste pour nettoyer pour le dîner.La nourriture était excelle [... lire plus]nte, il y avait beaucoup à manger et les omelettes étaient très bonnes, chapeau au Capitaine Kurt qui, je crois, s'appelait Daniel et à la fille dont je ne me souviens plus du nom qui s'occupait des tables à côté du bar de la plage. J'ai eu un problème avec la soupe de poisson qui contenait un piment dans lequel j'ai mordu et mon verre d'eau est resté dans ma bouche pendant environ dix minutes et le chef est descendu et m'a montré à quoi cela ressemblait et était désolé pour ma situation, mais la soupe était excellente, j'ai tout mangé.La plage était petite mais vous ne voulez que vous mouiller et nager un peu, et puis il y avait Christaphur, le sauveteur qui était divertissant de tant de façons, c'était difficile de le suivre, mais il a fait en sorte que le capitaine Poly vienne nous chercher à notre quai pour une visite dans le bateau à fond de verre Miss Poly, dont mon nom de famille est Polley. Nous sommes allés avec 3 autres couples, donc quelques achats sur le strip ont été faits et un verre à MargaritaVille qui était très occupé.La seule plainte serait qu'il devrait y avoir un réfrigérateur dans votre chambre, sans frais, seulement pour ce que vous achetez et mettez dedans, du vin, de la bière et de l'eau qui est gratuite et pour cette raison, quand nous y retournerons avec mes cannes, j'essaierai de réserver les chambres 101 à 106, près de tout ce que j'ai cherché pendant nos vacances.Tout compte fait, si vous voulez une petite escapade, c'est la meilleure jusqu'à présent pour moi et ma femme, fortement recommandé.

Best one yet for me The Royal Decameron Montego Beach was very nice, rite on the beach with the view of Montego Bay with our ocean view room 421 which was first time we had a ocean view room.The room was big,easy to get around,clean and bathroom also except for regulating the hot water to cold water, but after being on the beach all day,who needs hot water just to clean up for supper.The elevator was great for us because I have canes and my wife wears a knee brace sometimes to get around.The food was great,lots to eat and the omelets were very good, hats off to Captain Kurt which I think he went by and Daniel and girl I can not remember her name waiting the tables buy the railings next to the beach bar. I had one problem with the fish soup which had a pepper in it which I bit into and my water glass stayed at my mouth for about ten minutes and the chef came down and showed me what it looked like and was sorry for my situation but the soup was great, ate it all.The beach was small but you only want to get wet plus swim around a little bit and then their was Christaphur, the life guard who was entertaining in so many ways, it was hard to keep up with him, but he did get Captain Poly to pick us up at our dock for a tour in the glass bottom boat Miss Poly which my last name is Polley We went with 3 other couples so some shopping on the strip was done and a drink at MargaritaVille which was busy.Only one complain would be their should be a fridge in your room at no cost only for what you buy and put in it,wine, beer and water which is free and for that reason when we go back their with my canes, I will try to book room 101 to 106, close to everything that I went for on our vacation.Over all, if you want a small getaway, this is the best one yet for me and my wife, highly recommended.

Excellente semaine au Royal Decameron

Nous avons passé un excellent moment dans cet hôtel. Le personnel était très serviable et amical. La nourriture était abondante et très bonne. La plage est agréable, la propriété est très bien entretenue et la vue quotidienne est impressionnante. Les chambres sont de bonne taille avec un grand balcon. Le seul point négatif serait d'avoir un réfrigérateur dans chaque chambre.

Great week at Royal Decameron We had a great time at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Food was plentiful and very good. The beach is nice the property is very well kept and the view daily is awesome. Rooms are a good size with a great balcony. The only negative it would be nice to have a fridge in each room.we will return to this resort.

Merveilleux lieu de séjour !

L'hôtel était magnifique ! La nourriture était délicieuse et la plage était magnifique ! La location de paddle board et de kayak était gratuite toute la journée et il y avait beaucoup d'équipement. Il y a un tour de paddle board au coucher du soleil ou de nuit que l'on peut faire moyennant un supplément et cela en vaut vraiment la peine. Les planches de stand-up paddle sont équipées d'éclairages spéciaux qui permettent de voir l'océan en dessous de soi. Nous avons suivi des raies et un banc de p [... lire plus]oissons et c'était magique. Regarder le coucher de soleil, tout en flottant sur une planche de paddle au milieu de l'océan, était aussi un vrai moment fort ! Le personnel est très amical et serviable. Vous pouvez vous attendre à partager beaucoup de rires avec eux. Nous avons rencontré de nombreuses personnes qui étaient revenues plusieurs fois dans ce même complexe. Un groupe y avait séjourné 39 fois ! Ce n'est pas peu dire. C'était mon premier voyage en Jamaïque et j'ai placé la barre très haut. Je retournerais à 100% dans ce complexe.

Wonderful Place to Stay! The hotel was beautiful! The food was delicious and the beach was gorgeous! Paddle board and kayak rentals were free all day and they had a lot of equipment. There is a sunset/night time paddle board tour you can do for an extra cost and it is totally worth it. They have special lights on the stand-up paddle boards so you can see into the ocean below you. We followed some stingrays and a school of fish and it was magical. Watching the sunset, while floating on a paddle board in the middle of the ocean was a real highlight too! The staff are super friendly and helpful. You can expect to share a lot of laughs with them. We met so many people who had returned to this same resort several times. One group had stayed here 39 times! That says something. This was my first trip to Jamaica and it set the bar high. I would 100% return to this resort.

Déçu

Bien que nous ayons bénéficié d'un temps magnifique et que nous ayons apprécié notre séjour loin du travail et du froid, nous avons été déçus par certains aspects. Il y a deux piscines dans le complexe. Elles sont extrêmement petites et n'ont qu'un mètre de profondeur tout autour. Il n'y a pas assez de chaises longues autour des deux piscines, donc si vous ne sortez pas et ne mettez pas vos serviettes, vous n'avez pas de chance. Il n'y a pratiquement pas d'accès à la plage, donc ce n'était  [... lire plus]pas vraiment une alternative. Il y avait un swim up bar à l'une des piscines et en raison de la petite taille, quand il était environ 3 heures de l'après-midi, la piscine était extrêmement sale. Mon agent de voyage avait demandé que nous ne soyons pas plus haut que le 2ème étage car je dois subir une opération du talon d'Achille et je trouve que les escaliers sont un vrai problème. Nous avons été placés au 4ème étage, le plus élevé. Lorsque nous avons demandé à être changés, ils n'ont pas du tout accédé à notre demande. De plus, je n'ai jamais été dans un hôtel où il n'y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre, ce qui n'était pas le cas dans la nôtre. La nôtre n'en avait pas. J'ai besoin d'un réfrigérateur car je suis diabétique et dépendante de l'insuline. Ils ont dit qu'ils mettraient un réfrigérateur dans notre chambre pour un prix de 5,00 $ US par nuit !!!! J'ai été déçu par l'ensemble.

Disappointed While we had wonderful weather and did enjoy our time away from work and the cold weather, there was somethings that we did find disappointing. There are two pools on the resort. They are extremely small and only 4 feet deep all around. There was also not enough lounges around either of the pools so if you didn't get out and put your towels out you weren't in luck at all. There is also hardly any beach access so that really wasn't an alternative. There was a swim up bar at one of the pools and because of the small size when it got to be about 3 in the afternoon the pool was extremely scummy. YUCK My travel agent had requested that we be no higher than the 2nd floor as I have to have Achilles heel surgery and find stairs a real problem. We were put on the 4th floor which is the highest one. When we asked to be changed they would accommodate our request at all. Also I have never been to a resort that didn't have a fridge in the room. Ours didn't. I need a fridge as I am an insulin dependant diabetic. They said they would put a fridge in our room for a price of $5.00 US per night!!!! Just was disappointed in the whole thing.

Hôtel et emplacement formidables sur le Strip, le centre-ville et les clubs de nuit

Je reviendrais sans hésiter dans ce centre de villégiature ! J'y suis allée avec mon amie (nous sommes toutes les deux des jeunes femmes) et nous nous sommes senties en sécurité. Nous nous sommes promenées le long du strip et dans le centre-ville. Nous avions une belle chambre avec un balcon donnant sur l'océan. La plage et l'océan étaient magnifiques pour nager. Un jour, nous avons vu des centaines de papillons voler au-dessus de nous sur la plage, ce qui était à couper le souffle. Nous avons  [... lire plus]eu une vue magnifique sur le coucher de soleil ! L'hôtel se trouve sur le Strip et à distance de marche du centre-ville. Les clubs les plus intéressants sont Pier 1 et Margarita Ville. La nourriture et le personnel sont excellents. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Awesome Hotel and Location on the Strip, downtown and nightlife clubs I would definitely come back to this resort! I went with my friend (we are both young women) and felt so safe. We walked along the strip and to the downtown area. We had a beautiful room with an ocean view balcony. The beach and ocean was amazing to swim in. We saw hundreds of butterflies flying above us on the beach one day which was breathtaking. We had a gorgeous view of the sunset! It's on the strip and walking distance to downtown. Fun clubs were Pier 1 and Margarita Ville. Great food and staff. I highly recommend this place.

Belle station balnéaire

J'ai passé un excellent moment. Tout le monde était très amical et gentil. J'ai trouvé que les barmans du hall prenaient le temps de vous servir ! Ils pourraient avoir plus de choses à faire pendant la journée. De la musique jouant près de la piscine aurait été agréable quand les divertissements étaient faits pendant la journée.

Beautiful resort I had a great time . everyone was very friendly and nice . I found the bartenters at the lobby taking there time to serve you! They could have more stuff going on during the day . music playing by the pool would have been nice when the entertainment was done during the day.

Très beau centre de villégiature.

J'ai beaucoup aimé le centre de vacances. Les gens sont très sympathiques. La nourriture était excellente. Le spectacle du dimanche était puissant et dynamique. Il y avait toujours un petit groupe local qui jouait et chantait de la musique en direct à l'heure du déjeuner et du dîner. Ils m'ont proposé une offre très intéressante pour visiter un autre complexe avec une excursion gratuite, mais je n'ai malheureusement pas pu accepter car j'avais déjà d'autres projets. Mais l'offre était intéressan [... lire plus]te. Le complexe dispose de 3 petites plages et d'une grande zone pour la plongée avec masque et tuba.

Very nice resort. I liked the resort a lot. The people is very friendly. The food was excellent. The entertainment (show) on Sunday was powerful, vibrant. There was always a small local group playing and singing live music at lunch/dinner time. They offer me a very nice deal to visit another resort with excursion included for free but unfortunately I couldn't take because I already had other plans. But the offer was nice. The resort has 3 small beaches and a large area for snorkeling.

Un endroit magnifique pour passer une semaine !

Magnifique établissement, plage propre et sablonneuse avec des couchers de soleil inoubliables. Le personnel est professionnel et amical, les chambres sont belles et donnent toutes sur l'océan. La nourriture est bien préparée et fraîche. Les barmans peuvent vous préparer à peu près n'importe quelle boisson, mais j'en ai apprécié plusieurs de leur liste. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir et j'ai promis au personnel de revenir les voir. J'ai l'intention de tenir cette promesse. Merci pour ce [... lire plus]s superbes vacances, et à bientôt !

A beautiful place to spend a week! Beautiful facility, clean, sandy beach with unforgettable sunsets. The staff are professional and friendly, the rooms are lovely and all face the ocean. The food is well prepared and fresh. The bartenders can make you just about any drink you can think of, but I enjoyed many from their list. I had a blast, and I have promised the staff that I would return to visit them again. I intend to keep that promise. Thanks for a great vacation guys, see you soon!

Nous avons séjourné au Royal Decameron Montego Bay du 13 au 20 octobre. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et voici ce que nous en pensons. Les chambres sont très propres et bien entretenues. Le terrain est magnifique mais a besoin d'être plus nettoyé autour des buissons. Pour ce qui est de l'intérieur, les bars, la salle à manger et les salles de bains sont très propres et bien entretenus. Le seul problème que nous avons eu est la nourriture. Pendant toute la semaine que nous avons passée là-bas, [... lire plus] la nourriture n'était pas bonne, sauf peut-être au petit déjeuner, car les omelettes sont faciles à préparer et on y ajoute ce que l'on veut. Les autres repas sont fades, sans goût et avec peu de choix. Quant au personnel, il est le meilleur. Nous sommes allés dans 2 autres resorts en Jamaïque au fil des ans, principalement à Montego Bay, et le personnel du Royal Decameron est le meilleur que nous ayons rencontré. L'autre point négatif de l'hôtel est qu'il n'y a pas de laverie pour les clients. Lorsque nous voyageons, nous aimons rentrer chez nous avec des vêtements propres.

Nice Resort but... We stayed at the Royal Decameron Montego Bay between October 13th to the 20th. We enjoyed our time there and here are our views on our stay. Rooms are very clean and well maintained. The grounds are beautiful but needs to be more cleaned around the bushes. As for the ckeansiness of the inside like bars and dining room and bathrooms super clean and maintained. The only problem we had is the food. In all the week we were there the food was not good except maybe breakfast because omelettes are easy and they add what you want in it. The other meals are bland with no taste and not enough choices. As for the staff they are the best. We have been to 2 other resorts in Jamaica through years mostly Montego Bay and the staffs at Royal Decameron are tge best we have encountered. The other downer of the Resort is that they have no laundry facilities for guests. When we travel we like to come home with our clothes clean.
