H10 London Waterloo - perfect location to see and get around London Very nice Hotel in excellent location, very good transportation hub. Spectacular roof lounge with 360 degree view. Buffet breakfast well worth it, good selection and attentive staff. Room very clean, good size, and modern. Main lobby area, very welcoming, and staff very helpful. Easy drop off and pick up location Nice restaurants, Saturday closed street market, and best of all, very close to Waterloo Train Station that has variety of stores including a pharmacy, take away food store (Marks and Spencer foods), and ticket office to help get you around either via train, tube, or bus.

Citadines Trafalgar Square: Un excellent choix

Notre séjour à Citadines lors de notre visite à Londres a été excellent. L'emplacement était idéal pour tout ce que nous avions prévu pour notre visite. L'accès aux transports était rapide, ce qui a facilité le trajet jusqu'à l'aéroport. Le personnel de Citadines était accueillant, prêt à répondre à toutes nos questions et sympathique. Notre chambre était confortable et propre, les équipements étaient excellents et il était agréable de s'y détendre après une journée passée à l'extérieur.

Great Choice Our time staying at Citadines while visiting London was excellent. The location was great for everything we had planned for our visit. Access to transportation was quick making the airport journey easy. Citadines' staff were welcoming, ready to assist with any of our queries, and friendly. Our room was comfortable and clean, amenities were excellent, and it was great to relax in after a day out and about.

Royal National: Excellente situation, mais lits épouvantables.

Cet hôtel était en cours de rénovation lorsque nous y avons séjourné, donc de 8h à 17h en semaine, il y avait un bruit constant de construction. Les week-ends étaient très calmes, donc quand les rénovations seront terminées, ce sera un hôtel très calme. Lors de l'enregistrement, je me suis rendu compte que les lits étaient comme de la pierre et je suis donc allé à la réception pour obtenir une chambre avec de meilleurs lits. J'ai payé pour cela et j'ai découvert que les lits étaient les mêmes.  [... lire plus]J'ai fini par aller dans un grand magasin et acheter un surmatelas en mousse pour les rendre supportables, mais cela n'a fonctionné qu'en partie. Si vous aimez les matelas durs comme de la pierre, c'est l'hôtel qu'il vous faut. Malheureusement, j'ai une blessure due à mon service militaire et je dois avoir des lits plus souples. Ce n'est pas possible dans cet hôtel, quel qu'en soit le prix. Le téléphone ne fonctionnait pas au moment de l'arrivée, mais il a été réparé rapidement. Quant à l'hôtel, il est agréable. Il n'y a pas de climatisation comme dans la plupart des hôtels de Londres, mais comme c'était l'automne, ouvrir la fenêtre permettait de dormir. Le personnel était formidable et nous avons eu de bonnes relations avec lui. Le buffet du petit déjeuner était très bon. Ma femme est cœliaque (pas par choix) et il y avait beaucoup d'options pour elle tous les matins. Les plats chauds étaient excellents et illimités. C'est une excellente façon de commencer la journée. Le hall est presque toujours occupé parce que c'est un grand hôtel, mais il n'y a pas d'endroit où s'asseoir pour les personnes âgées ou handicapées. Si vous avez besoin de vous asseoir pendant l'enregistrement ou pendant que vous attendez une navette à votre départ, vous n'avez pas de chance. Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir dans les environs et plusieurs bons endroits pour manger au niveau de la rue de l'hôtel, donc beaucoup de choix. La station de métro Russel Square se trouve à seulement 150 mètres et constitue le meilleur moyen de se déplacer dans Londres. Si vous n'avez pas de problème pour dormir dans un lit dur comme de la pierre, je vous recommande cet hôtel à condition d'attendre que les rénovations soient terminées.

Great location but terrible beds. This hotel was undergoing renovations when we stayed there so from 8am to 5pm weekdays there was constant construction noise. Weekends were very quiet so when the renovations are complete it will be a very quiet hotel. Upon check-in, I realized that the beds were like a rock so went to the front desk to upgrade the room to one with better beds. I paid for that and then found out that the beds were the same. I ended up going to a department store and buying a foam topper to put on top of the beds to make them bearable, but that only worked partially. If you like rock hard mattresses, this is the hotel for you. Unfortunately I have an injury from my service in the military and have to have softer beds. This is not available at this hotel at any price. The phone wasn't working upon check in but was fixed in a timely manner though. As for the hotel, it was nice. It has no AC like most hotels in London, but since it was fall, opening the window worked for sleeping. The staff were great and had good relations with them. The breakfast buffet was very good. My wife is a Celiac (not by choice) and there were plenty of options for her to have every morning. The hot food was excellent and unlimited. Great way to start your day. The lobby is almost always busy because it is a big hotel but there is no where to sit for any elderly or disabled people. If you need to sit down during check in or while waiting for a shuttle when you leave, you are out of luck. There are many things to see nearby and several great places to eat on the street level of the hotel, so plenty of selection there. The Russel Square line underground station is only 150 meters away and is the best way to get around London. If you have no problem sleeping in a rock hard bed, then I would recommend this hotel provided you wait until the renovations are complete.

Tavistock Hotel: Pas comme annoncé

Je viens de passer deux semaines au Tavistock. Les points positifs sont les suivants : le petit déjeuner offre une bonne variété de choix, notamment des œufs, du bacon, du jambon, des saucisses, des céréales, des flocons d'avoine chauds, des croissants, des haricots et des pommes de terre. Excellent emplacement avec accès facile aux bus et au métro. Le personnel est formidable, agréable et arrangeant. Beaucoup d'eau chaude. Moins bien : sur leur site web, il est indiqué qu'ils ont : une piscine [... lire plus], un sauna, un bowling, une salle de sport, un jacuzzi. Tous ces services sont disponibles à proximité mais pas sur le site de l'hôtel. C'est une publicité très trompeuse et mensongère. L'hôtel indique également qu'il y a des coffres-forts dans les chambres, ce qui est faux. Vous pouvez utiliser un coffre-fort à la réception moyennant un supplément. Les lits et les oreillers sont très durs. Pas d'air conditionné et si vous avez une chambre côté rue, cela peut être bruyant la nuit avec la fenêtre ouverte.

Not as advertised Just spent 2 weeks at the Tavistock. Good points include: breakfast has a good variety of choices including eggs, bacon, ham, sausages, cereals, hot oatmeal, croissants, beans, & potatoes. Excellent location with easy access to buses & underground. Staff is great, pleasant & accommodating. Lots of hot water. Not so good: on their website it states they have: a swimming pool, sauna, bowling, exercise gym, jacuzzi. All of these are available nearby but not on site of the hotel. Very misleading & false advertising. They also state that there are safes in the rooms which is not true. You can use a safe at the lobby desk for an extra charge. Beds & pillows are very hard. No air conditioning & if you have a room on the street side it can be noisy at night with your window open.

L'hôtel était formidable, très bien situé. Nous avons marché jusqu'au pont de Westminster ou pris un taxi pour traverser la Tamise. Le quartier n'est pas aussi animé que Trafalgar Square, il est donc agréable d'y revenir après une journée de visites. La chambre était propre et spacieuse. Nous avions un lit confortable et une cafetière. Le personnel était agréable et serviable. Le petit déjeuner était excellent et inclus dans notre forfait. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à tous ceux qui visite [... lire plus]nt Londres.

Awesome Hotel! The hotel was amazing; great location. We either walked to Westminster Bridge or took a taxi over the Thames. Not as bustling as Trafalgar Square so nice to come back to after a day or touring. The room was clean and spacious. We had a comfy bed and coffee maker. The staff were pleasent and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and included with our package. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone visiting London.

Cet hôtel a été un séjour agréable pour notre voyage de 6 jours. Notre chambre était assez petite mais elle était moderne, avec de grandes fenêtres, un coffre-fort et une belle salle de bains. Le petit déjeuner était inclus dans notre forfait et nous avons été très impressionnés par le choix et la qualité de la nourriture. Internet fonctionnait bien, ce qui était agréable pour regarder des films sur mon téléphone. Le départ a été facile et l'hôtel est très bien situé pour se rendre à la gare de Waterloo. De nombreux restaurants se trouvent également dans le quartier. Les seules choses négatives que je pourrais dire sont que l'hôtel est assez petit en général, il n'y a pas grand chose à faire si vous voulez juste traîner, les chaînes de télévision n'avaient rien à regarder, donc Internet était la seule véritable option pour se divertir. De plus, le réfrigérateur de la chambre est rempli de boissons et d'en-cas. Nous avons demandé à ce qu'ils soient enlevés pour que nous puissions les remplir avec nos propres achats de nourriture et de boissons. Ils ne sont pas venus et nous n'avons tout simplement pas demandé une deuxième fois.

H10 Waterloo London This hotel was a pleasant stay for our 6 day trip. Our room was quite small but it was a modern looking room with big windows, a safe, nice washroom. We had our breakfast included with our package and was very impressed with the selection and the quality of food. Internet worked well which was nice to watch movies on my phone. The front desk was always helpful and arranged the taxis for us for a couple very early morning tours we did. Easy check out and great location to get to the Waterloo station. Lots of restaurants in the area as well. The only negative things I could say is the hotel is quite small in general, not a lot to do if you just want to hang out, TV stations had nothing to watch so internet was the only real option for entertainment. Also they fill the room fridge with drinks and snacks which we asked that they be removed so we could fill with our own food/drink purchases. They did not come and we just didn't request a second time.

Royal National: Superbe emplacement, mais un peu fatigué

L'hôtel est très bien situé, mais les chambres sont très fatiguées et ont besoin d'être rénovées. Le petit déjeuner inclus était terrible. Le personnel de la réception était formidable, il a eu quelques difficultés avec le concerige qui aidait, mais il y avait quelques messieurs qui étaient très serviables. L'hôtel comptait également beaucoup d'étudiants. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

Great Location, but a bit tired Hotel was in a great location, but rooms very tired in need of updating. Breakfast included was terrible. Staff at front desk were great, had some difficulty with concerige helping out, but did have a couple gentlemen who were very helpful. Hotel also had a lot of students. We did enjoy our stay.

Royal National: L'hôtel est terrible et doit être rénové !

C'est un hôtel très basique qui s'adresse aux touristes en bus, principalement des jeunes. Chambres très pauvres et délabrées, sans climatisation. Pratiquement aucun équipement, pas même un sèche-cheveux. La salle de bain/douche était la meilleure partie d'un hôtel bas de gamme, les lits sont inconfortables et les draps/décorations ont besoin d'être remplacés. Il n'y a même pas de photos sur les murs. Nous pouvions tout entendre des chambres voisines, très bruyantes. Restaurant petit déjeuner co [... lire plus]ntinental terrible et très occupé. Hôtel immense avec des tonnes de jeunes partout. Rue bruyante de chaque côté de l'hôtel. Le personnel a essayé d'être serviable mais le hall était très occupé et bruyant et on ne pouvait même pas les entendre. hôtel 1 étoile, a besoin d'un peu de travail !!! Pour améliorer tout. Les restaurants à proximité sont bons mais n'ouvrent pas assez tôt. Le temps était de 80-90 degrés et il n'y avait pas de climatisation ou de ventilateurs, terrible ! Le seul point positif était que l'hôtel est proche du métro et un bon quartier pour se déplacer et rencontrer des touristes

Terrible hotel needs upgrading ! This is a very basic hotel that caters to bus tours mostly young people. Rooms very poor and run down without without air conditioning. Hardly any amenities, not even a hair dryer. The bathroom/shower areas were the best part of a low star hotel, beds uncomfortable and linens/ decorations need to be replaced. Not even pictures on the walls. We could hear everything from neighbouring rooms, very noisey. Restaurant continental breakfast terrible and very busy. Huge hotel with tons of young people everywhere. Noisey street on each side of hotel. Staff tried to be helpful but very busy and noisey lobby that could not even hear them. 1 star hotel, needs some work done!! To upgrade everything. Restaurants nearby by good but not open early enough. Weather was 80-90 degrees and no air conditioning or fans, terrible! Only good thing was hotel is close to tube and good area to get around from and meet tours from

President Hotel: Excellent rapport qualité-prix / emplacement (en tant que touriste)

J'ai été très satisfait de cet hôtel (Valeur pour $) L'emplacement était exactement ce que je voulais/demandais (en tant que touriste). La chambre était petite et propre (en tant que personne seule, je n'ai pas besoin d'un lit double avec 4 oreillers...) La salle à manger était très agréable et tout le personnel était formidable. Si jamais je retourne à Londres, ce sera mon premier choix.

Great Value / Location (as a tourist) I was very pleased with this hotel (Value for $) The location was just what I wanted/asked for (as a tourist). The room was small and clean. (As a single person, I do not need/want a double bed with 4 pillows...) The dining area was very nice, and all the staff were great. If ever go back to London, this will be my first choice.

Citadines Trafalgar Square: Dépasser les attentes

Lorsque notre agent de voyage nous a conseillé cet hôtel, on nous a dit que notre chambre serait petite et que nous aurions un lit gigogne. À notre grande surprise, nous avons eu une chambre avec un grand lit dans une chambre très confortable. La chambre disposait d'une cuisine bien équipée. L'hôtel bénéficie d'une situation centrale par rapport à de nombreux sites touristiques tels que le quartier des théâtres, le palais de Buckinham, le quartier des boutiques haut de gamme et le London Eye. T [... lire plus]ous ces sites étaient accessibles à pied depuis l'hôtel. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très serviable et attentif à nos besoins. Un membre du personnel en particulier, Libanio, est allé bien au-delà des attentes Pour faire en sorte que notre séjour soit très agréable. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tous ceux qui visitent Londres.

Exceeded expectations When our travel agent suggested this hotel we were told that our room would be small and we would have a trundle bed. Much to our surprise we had a room with queen size bed in a room that was very comfortable. The room had a well equipped kitchen. The hotel was very centrally located to many of the sights such as the theater district, Buckinham Palace, high end shopping district and the London Eye. All these sights were in walking distance of the hotel. The staff of this hotel were very helpful and focused on our needs. One staff member in particular; Libanio went far and beyond expectations To ensure our stay was very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel highly to anyone visiting London.

Melia White House: Grand hôtel

Nous aurions donné 5 étoiles à l'hôtel si ce n'est que la climatisation ne parvenait pas à garder la chambre assez fraîche à mon goût et que le dernier jour, avant de partir, la douche n'avait pas d'eau chaude (probablement parce que tout le monde se préparait à partir). Les chambres étaient un peu petites, mais il faut s'y attendre en Europe et nous n'avons pas cherché à surclasser notre chambre. Les lits étaient confortables et les chambres étaient propres. Le buffet chaud du petit déjeuner é [... lire plus]tait excellent. Lorsque nous devions partir tôt pour une excursion, nous le faisions savoir à la réception qui nous préparait une boîte à emporter pour le petit déjeuner tôt le matin. Le personnel du matin remplissait également nos bouteilles d'eau de glace avant notre départ pour la journée. L'hôtel était situé à proximité de trois stations de métro, ce qui a facilité les déplacements dans la ville.

Great Hotel We would of given the hotel 5 stars except the A/C couldn't keep the room cool enough for my liking and on our last day before we checked out the shower had no hot water (probably from everyone else getting ready to leave). The rooms were a little small, but that is to be expected in Europe and we didn't both with the upgrade our room. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean. The hot breakfast buffet was excellent. When we had to leave early for a tour, we let the front desk know and they had a to go breakfast box set up for us early that morning. The morning staff would also fill our water bottles up with ice before we departed for the day. Hotel was located close to three subway stations which made getting around the city very easy.

Great Location, Comfortable Accommodation We stayed in this hotel from 2 August to 9 August 2016. We found the location to be excellent! We could walk easily to the south bank of the Thames including the London Eye and we could walk to the major attractions on the north bank - Westminster, St. James Park, Buckingham Palace, etc. Waterloo Tube station was ten minutes away. Also, there were ample restaurants and bars around for quick meals. There were also mini-marts if one was looking for a sandwich or picnic fixings. Our room was a triple - hard to find anywhere. It was spacious and easily accommodated three people. It was, unfortunately, set up as an accessible room, so the bathroom vanity was very low for able bodied users. The breakfast provided was super. There was good variety of food which was always in ample supply. Our first day involved a rather uncomfortable line in the elevator hallway which was not prepared to deal with a lot of people. Thankfully, this did not happen again in our stay. Staff at the main desk were always well intended although we were not always sure that they fully understood our requests/needs. This is a lovely, well-located, well-appointed hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

La chambre n'avait pas de sèche-cheveux, de linge de toilette, d'essuie-mains ou d'horloge. Nous avons demandé à être réveillés le jour où nous devions rentrer et nous ne l'avons jamais reçu. Nous avons reçu un appel lorsque notre chauffeur est arrivé. L'hôtel est vieux et quelque peu délabré

Disappointing hotel Room did not have a hair dryer, wash clothes, hand towels or a clock. We requested a wake up call on the day we were to return and never received it. We received a call when our ride arrived. The hotel is old and somewhat rundown

Royal National: Juste

Un endroit très fréquenté et très bruyant. La restauration était très bonne avec un choix limité. Bon emplacement à distance de marche de la plupart des endroits. Le personnel de l'hôtel aurait pu être un peu plus amical, un sourire ou deux auraient été les bienvenus.

Fair A very busy place lots of noise. Dinning was very good with limited selection. Good location within walking distance to most locations. The hotel staff could have been a little more friendlier, maybe a smile or two would have been nice.

Citadines Trafalgar Square: Conception agréable

L'hôtel était élégant, un classique de Londres. Les grandes fenêtres de la chambre avec l'arbre à l'extérieur projettent une belle lumière claire et m'ont permis de me sentir très à l'aise, amical et m'ont permis de me sentir très à l'aise.

Nicely designed Hotel was elegant,classic London. Love the British icon wallpaper over the bed.Love the little kitchen, just the right size.The large size windows in the room with the tree outside cast a beautiful light clearing and made me feel very comfortable, friendly and made me feel very comfortable.

Chambres agréables, bon entretien, personnel très aimable et serviable, petit déjeuner anglais copieux et copieux. Bon emplacement, calme. Très proche de la gare de Waterloo et de l'accès au système de métro londonien. Nombreuses attractions à proximité, accessibles à pied.

Great Hotel Nice rooms, good house keeping, very friendly and helpful staff, plentiful and hearty english breakfast. Good location, quiet. Very close to Waterloo station and access to the London metro system. Lots of close attractions in walking distance.
