Une expérience étonnante !

Mon ami et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce centre de villégiature. Il s'agit d'un grand hôtel, mais le transport par train est rapide et ponctuel. On a l'impression d'être dans une petite ville et le complexe lui-même est magnifique. Le personnel était merveilleux et la nourriture était très bonne. C'est peut-être la plage la plus propre que j'ai visitée en RD.

Amazing Experience! My friend and I had a wonderful time at this resort. It is a large hotel, but there is quick and timely transportation by train constantly. It feels like you are in your own little town, and the resort itself is gorgeous. The staff was wonderful and food was very good. This may have been the cleanest beach I have been to in DR.

Ce n'est pas tout à fait ce à quoi je m'attendais.

L'hôtel et la propriété sont très agréables à l'œil car ils sont très étendus avec une belle plage et plusieurs piscines magnifiques. Les animations en soirée étaient bien faites et le buffet n'a jamais déçu. La chambre, bien que spacieuse, avait vraiment besoin d'être améliorée et/ou entretenue. Pendant que je prenais ma douche, tout l'élément de la douche s'est détaché du mur et m'a presque empalé dans la baignoire. La climatisation n'a jamais suffi à rafraîchir suffisamment la pièce et les [... lire plus] ampoules de la chambre étaient si faibles qu'il était impossible d'y lire le soir ou à n'importe quel moment d'ailleurs. Le plus gros problème, cependant, c'était les insectes. Je ne sais pas s'il y avait des punaises de lit ou si c'était un autre insecte qui rôdait dans les parages, mais j'ai eu d'énormes piqûres qui m'ont obligé à consulter mon médecin à mon retour à la maison. Cela a mis un gros bémol à mes vacances et je ne me fierais jamais à ce complexe hôtelier une seconde fois.

Not quite what I expected. The hotel and property were very pleasing to the eye being very sprawling with a beautiful beach and having several wonderful pools. The evening entertainment was well done and the buffet never disappointed. The room while being spacious really needed some upgrading and/or maintenance. While I was showering the entire shower component fell off the wall and nearly impaled me in the tub. The AC was never sufficient to cool the room enough and the lightbulbs in the room were so dim that it was impossible to read there in the evening or any time for that matter. The biggest problem, however, was BUGS. I am not sure if there were bedbugs, or if it was some other insect lurking around, but I got massive bites which necessitated a trip to my doctor upon my return home. This put a large damper on my holiday and I would never trust returning to this resort a second time.

Station balnéaire

J'aime beaucoup ce centre de villégiature. L'immigration à l'aéroport était trop longue. Presque 3 heures. Je ne sais pas pourquoi. La climatisation ne fonctionnait pas correctement dans les deux chambres et le remplissage du réfrigérateur n'a pas eu lieu. Le nettoyage des chambres était excellent et la nourriture de bonne qualité. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel était bien, mais il faudra bientôt le moderniser. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Fun resort I really like this resort. The airport immigration was too long. Almost 3 hours. Don't know why. The air conditioning wasn't working right in both rooms and the filling of the fridge didn't happen. The cleaning of the rooms was excellent and the food of good quality. The resort on the whole was good but will be needing an update soon. Will definitely return.

Prix et qualité excellents

C'est ma sixième visite dans cet hôtel. A chaque visite, j'ai reçu la même qualité et le même service. L'hôtel vieillit un peu et les villas pourraient être mieux entretenues. Les piscines sont superbes et la nourriture !

Great price and quality This is my 6th visit to this hotel. Every visit I have received the same quality and service. The hotel is aging a little bit and the villas could be kept up a bit better.Pools and great and the food!

Station médiocre

L'hôtel lui-même était à moitié décent. Le terrain est très bien entretenu. Cependant, la chambre ne disposait pas d'un réfrigérateur en état de marche, la baignoire/douche tombait en ruine et le matelas était loin d'être confortable. Bien qu'un service soit disponible 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7, la qualité de ce service n'est pas toujours optimale. La plupart des préoccupations ont été balayées et le personnel était parfois presque impoli. Mediocre resort The hotel itself was half decent. The grounds are up kept very nicely. The room however did not have a working fridge in it, the bathtub/shower was falling apart and the mattress was far from comfortable. Though there was access to service 24/7, the quality of such service wasn’t always the greatest. Most concerns were brushed off and the staff were almost rude at times. Pools and beach well maintained. Buffets could use more variety of foods from day to day.

Superbe Resort !!!!

Nous avons adoré les piscines et elles avaient toutes un bar de nage. Anny était géniale à la réception, elle nous a tout de suite fait sentir les bienvenus. Les restaurants japonais et tex-mex étaient géniaux. Nous avons passé un bon moment au casino, mais la discothèque était beaucoup trop bruyante pour nous. Je retournerais dans ce complexe à coup sûr.

Great Resort!!!! We loved the pools and they all had a swim up bar. Anny was great at the front desk, made us felt welcome right away. The Japanese and Tex Mex alecart were Awesome. Had a good time at the casino but the disco was way too loud for us. I would go back to this resort for sure.

Grand voyage

Le terrain de ce centre de villégiature était très bien entretenu. Il y avait beaucoup de beaux arbres. Il n'y avait qu'un seul buffet dans ce complexe et malheureusement mon mari et moi avons tous les deux été déçus. La nourriture était toujours la même et pour être tout à fait honnête, c'était notre première fois en République Dominicaine où nous n'aimions pas la nourritureðŸ˜" Heureusement, nous avions trois charrettes à la carte où nous pouvions choisir parmi quelques restaurants. La nourri [... lire plus]ture y était bien meilleure. Nous avons apprécié chaque soirée où nous sommes allés. Les chambres étaient belles et propres. Le lit n'était pas le plus confortable. Le personnel était très gentil et serviable. Nous avons trouvé ce complexe très grand, il faut beaucoup marcher, mais heureusement il y avait un chariot pour vous emmener d'un bout à l'autre.

Great Trip The grounds of this resort were very well taken care of. There were lots of beautiful trees. There was only one buffet at this resort and unfortunately my husband and I both were disappointed. The food was always the same and to be quite honest, this was our first time in Dominican Republic where we didn’t like the food😔 Luckily we did have three a la carts where we could choose from a few restaurants. The food here was much better. We enjoyed each evening that we went. The rooms were nice, clean. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful. We did find this resort very big, a lot of walking but thankfully they had a trolly to take you from one end to the other.

De superbes vacances !

J'ai envoyé un e-mail avant de demander une villa et des réservations à la carte, et Bolivar a été très serviable. L'enregistrement avec Edwin s'est déroulé sans problème et nous étions dans notre chambre en quelques minutes. Manuel à Piscis était génial ! Il était toujours là avec un sourire et il était si divertissant ! Nous l'avons adoré ! Arcealais au bar de la piscine était fantastique (je m'excuse si j'ai mal orthographié ton nom mi amiga). Notre merveilleux chauffeur, que nous connaission [... lire plus]s sous le nom de Hola Coca Cola, était très amusant et nous emmenait toujours là où nous voulions aller ! L'équipe de divertissement au bar du hall principal était absolument la meilleure ! Ils ont fait danser et chanter tout le monde et ont toujours passé un moment merveilleux ! Notre chambre était propre tous les jours à notre retour, merci au merveilleux personnel de ménage ! Notre plat préféré à la carte était le Garden Grill. La nourriture et le service étaient incroyables. Nous avons eu deux petits problèmes avec notre chambre, mais ils ont été réglés rapidement et les techniciens ont été formidables ! Le terrain était magnifiquement entretenu. Nous avons passé la plupart de nos journées à la piscine principale et le personnel était constamment en train de nettoyer et de s'assurer que tout le monde s'occupait bien de lui. Le personnel de la plage a travaillé sans relâche pour s'assurer que toutes les algues étaient ratissées et nettoyées. Nous avons eu un peu de pluie, mais cela n'a pas gâché nos vacances grâce à un personnel formidable ! J'étais là avec ma fille et nous nous sommes toujours senties en sécurité et bien prises en charge. C'était le premier séjour tropical de ma fille et je suis ravie que ce soit au GBPB parce qu'elle a passé un moment extraordinaire. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ! Merci à tous pour cette semaine absolument semaine absolument géniale !!!

Great vacation! I emailed prior requesting a villa and a la carte reservations, and Bolivar was so obliging. Check in with Edwin was smooth and we were in our room in minutes. Manuel at Piscis was great! He was always there with a smile and was so entertaining! We absolutely loved him! Arcealais at the pool bar was fantastic.(I apologize if I spelled your name wrong mi amiga) Our wonderful driver, who we just knew as Hola Coca Cola, was so much fun and always took us where we wanted to go! The entertainment staff at the main lobby bar was absolutely the best! They had everyone dancing and singing, and having a wonderful time always! Our room was clean every day when we returned, so thank you to wonderful housekeeping staff! Our favourite a la carte was the Garden Grill. Amazing food and service. We had two minor issues with our room but were addressed quickly and the technicians were great! The grounds were beautifully kept. We spent most days at the main pool and staff were constantly cleaning and making sure everyone was well taken care of. The beach staff worked endlessly making sure all the seaweed was raked and cleaned up. We had some rain but that did not take away from our vacation because of the wonderful staff! I was there with my daughter and we always felt safe and well taken care of. It was my daughter’s first tropical and I am so glad it was at GBPB because she had an absolutely amazing time. We will definitely return! Thank you to everyone for an absolutely amazing week!!

Huge Huge Resort

Cet hôtel était absolument ÉNORME ! !! Vous devez prendre un trolley partout où vous allez et il est super facile de se perdre dans cette station et avec le manque de communication et les barrières linguistiques, bonne chance pour essayer de trouver de l'aide ! Nous avons dû changer de chambre à cause de l'odeur de moisissure dans la première chambre, c'était tellement mauvais qu'on en avait le souffle coupé et l'air ne fonctionnait pas, la deuxième chambre avait le même problème, l'air était ma [... lire plus]uvais, les lits étaient durs comme de la pierre, les toilettes fonctionnaient sans arrêt et se bouchaient facilement, le siphon de la douche était bouché, donc quand nous nous douchions tous les trois, la troisième personne était debout dans de l'eau sale :( la chambre avait aussi une odeur d'urine âcre à côté du canapé qui s'est transformé en lit ! la troisième chambre, pour nos deux dernières nuits, l'air fonctionnait mais ils ont dû faire venir un lit d'enfant car ils n'avaient qu'une chambre avec un grand lit. La nourriture était correcte mais il y avait une terrible odeur d'égout à l'entrée du buffet et à l'intérieur d'un côté du restaurant ! La cuisine mexicaine à la carte était incroyable et le beach grill à la carte, la cuisine italienne est juste correcte, vous repartez affamés car les portions sont très petites ! Les snacks de minuit sont très bien aussi ! Les piscines sont superbes et la plage est magnifique, les boissons sont juste correctes ! La majorité du personnel est très impoli et c'est la première fois que je vois cela dans le sud Vous devez absolument économiser des chaises avec des serviettes à la plage et aux piscines ou vous n'en aurez pas à 10 heures du matin :( Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un bon moment, mais nous ne reviendrons probablement pas dans ce complexe ! Cela a été notre 7ème fois dans un complexe Bahia et notre préféré est le Mayan Riveria Bahia, nous y retournerons en octobre 2019 pour le mariage de nos amis :)

This hotel was absolutely Huge!! You have to take a Trolley everywhere you go and it’s super easy to get lost on this resort and with the lack of communication and language barriers good luck trying to find help! We had to switch our room due to extreme smell of Mold in the first room it was so bad it took your breath away and the air didn’t work, the second room same issue the air was bad the beds are rock hard the toilet ran non stop and plugged up easily the shower drain was clogged so by the time the three of us showered the third person was standing in dirty water :( the room Also had a pungent urine smell beside the couch that turned into a bed! the third room for our last two nights the air worked but they had to bring in a cot as they only had a king bed room. The food was ok there was a terrible sewer smell at the entrance of the buffet and inside on the one side of the restaurant! The Mexican a la carte was amazing and the beach grill a la carte the Italian is just ok you leave hungry as the portions are very small! The midnight snack bars are great also! The pools are great and the beach is beautiful the drinks are just ok! The majority of the staff are very rude which is the first time I have ever seen this down south I was actually taken back by this! You definitely have to save Chairs with towels at the beach and pools or you will not get one by 10 in the morning:( overall we had a good time but probably would not return to this resort! This has been our 7th time at a Bahia resort and our favourite is the Mayan Riveria Bahia we are returning there in October 2019 for our friends wedding:)

Grand centre de villégiature !

Resort était grand mais beaucoup de chariots pour vous ramasser si vous n'avez’™ pas envie de marcher. Beaucoup d'activités quotidiennes. Les chambres étaient propres mais sentaient le renfermé. Le climatiseur ne fonctionnait pas très bien mais avec le ventilateur, c'était bien.

Great Resort! Resort was large but lots of carts to pick you up if you didn’t want to walk. Lots of activities daily. Rooms were clean but smelled very musty. Air conditioner wasn’t working great but with the fan on it was okay.

Pas comme prévu

Le centre de villégiature n'était pas exactement comme nous le pensions. Les chambres étaient en dessous de la moyenne et le service était médiocre. Nous avons demandé plus d'eau à plusieurs reprises et nous n'avons jamais eu qu'une seule bouteille, parfois même pas réapprovisionnée. Nous avons été constamment marchandés mais les gens autour de la station et les travailleurs sur la station, et même eu mes bagues volées dans la chambre. Heureusement, les piscines et les plages étaient superbes et [... lire plus] le temps incroyable pour compenser.

Not As Expected The resort wasn’t exactly as we thought. The rooms were sub par, and service was meh. We asked for more water on multiple occasions and we only ever got 1 bottle, sometimes not even restocked. We were constantly haggled but people around the resort and the workers on the resort, and even had my rings stolen from the room. Luckily the pools and beaches were amazing and the weather was incredible to make up for it.

Superbes vacances en famille.

C'est la quatrième fois que nous venons dans ce complexe et nous l'avons beaucoup apprécié. Comme la plage est très fréquentée, nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps à la piscine, ce qui convient bien aux familles, et il n'y a jamais eu trop de monde. Il s'agit d'un immense complexe hôtelier et, à moins d'être un grand marcheur, vous devez utiliser les chariots si vous voulez aller au buffet ou à la plage. Les chariots circulent fréquemment, ce qui nous a permis de prendre un ascenseur à [... lire plus] chaque fois que nous en avions besoin. Le Garden Grill Steak House et le restaurant italien Carpaccio's sont très bons. Le buffet était également très bon, surtout le soir du gala où nous avons dégusté du crabe, des crevettes, du bœuf Wellington, des poitrines de poulet farcies et de l'échine de porc glacée. Les petits déjeuners sont également très bons au buffet. Nous avons partagé nos déjeuners entre le restaurant de la plage et le buffet et les deux étaient excellents.

Great family vacation. This is our 4th time at this resort and we thoroughly enjoyed it. As the beach is very busy, we spent most of our time at the pool which works well for families, and it was never over crowded. This is a huge resort and unless you are an avid walker, you must utilize the trollies if you want to go to the buffet or the beach. The trollies are run frequently so we were able to catch a lift any time we needed it. The Garden Grill Steak House and the Italian restaurant Carpaccio's are very good. The buffet was also very good especially the Gala night where we enjoyed crab, shrimp, beef wellington, stuffed chicken breasts and glazed pork loin. The breakfasts are also very good at the buffet. We split our lunches between the beach restaurant and the buffet and both were great.

Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

C'était le premier voyage de mon petit ami et moi, et nous y avons célébré son anniversaire. Le jour de son anniversaire, ils ont apporté une bouteille de champagne et une corbeille de fruits dans notre chambre, et au dîner, nous avons eu une autre bouteille de champagne à notre table et 4 membres du personnel ont chanté pour lui. Ce reposrt est magnifique, un 10, les terrains sont si bien entretenus tous les jours qu'ils passent la serpillière sur les allées et nettoient les jardins tous le [... lire plus]s jours. La nourriture était incroyable dans le la cart et le buffet, notre préféré était le japonais, c'est un must. Les boissons étaient assez bonnes, il y avait beaucoup de choix. Les divertissements étaient bons, il y avait toujours 3 spectacles par jour, le matin, le soir et la nuit dans le village. Nous avons également apprécié le casino, les boutiques, le karaoké, le bar sportif pour les matchs de hockey et la discothèque dans le village. La plage était à couper le souffle et ils nettoyaient les algues tous les matins. La piscine était superbe, les bars de piscine aussi, nous sommes restés la plupart du temps sur la plage ou dans la piscine près de la plage. Notre demande de chambre a été honorée, ce qui était fantastique car nous voulions être près de la plage. Le personnel était toujours gentil et accueillant. Je pourrais continuer... et continuer... Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'une destination fabuleuse que je recommanderais à tout le monde. Nous y retournerons certainement et nous parlons déjà de notre prochain voyage Merci à Grand Bahis Principia Bavaro d'avoir fait de notre premier voyage ensemble un souvenir inoubliable

Amazing resort This was my boyfriend and I first trip together and also celebrated his birthday there which the resport had a birthdat banner on the door when we arrived and on his birthday they had brought a bottle of champagne and a fruit basket to our room also at dinner we had another bottle of champagne at our table and had 4 staff members, and sing to him. This reposrt is beautiful a 10, the grounds are so well kept daily they are even moping the walkways and cleaning the gardens everyday. The food was amazing in the la cart and buffet, our favorite was a Japanese it's a must. Drinks were pretty good lot to choice from. Entertainment was good always had 3 shows a day morning evening and night time in the village, also liked they had a casino, shops, karaoke bar, sport bar for the hockey games and a disco in the village as well. The beach was breath taking and they were on top of cleaning up the seaweed every morning. The pool was great, pool bars as well, we stayed mostly on the beach or the pool by the beach. Our room request was honored which was fantastic as we wanted to be close to the beach. Staff were always nice and welcoming. I could go on... and on... Over all this is a fabulous resport that I would recommend to anyone, we will definitely be going back and already talking about the next trip Thank you Grand Bahis Principia Bavaro for making our first trip together one we will always remember

La grande Bahia

Le complexe était très bien géré. Pour un complexe aussi grand, ils ont vraiment fait du bon travail, de l'enregistrement à la propreté de la chambre, en passant par la présentation de la nourriture et l'alimentation d'un si grand nombre de personnes de manière si efficace. Il y avait beaucoup de divertissements pour tous les âges, beaucoup d'activités sur la plage et au bord de la piscine. Il faisait 27°C tous les jours. Le lever du soleil le matin était si beau qu'il était facile de se lever à [... lire plus] 5h45.

The Big Bahia The resort was very well managed. For such a large resort they really did a great job , from our check in to the cleanliness of the room , to the awesome job of displaying food and feeding such large number of people so efficiently. There was plenty of entertainment for all ages, lots of beach & poolside activities. The weather was 27 c everyday . The sunrise in the morning was so beautiful getting up at 5:45 was easy.

Grand centre de villégiature

Tout était propre, le terrain bien entretenu et le personnel sympathique. Tout ce qui devait être fait l'a été immédiatement. La nourriture était excellente et ils ont fait un effort particulier pour mon mari, dont c'était l'anniversaire, en lui offrant trois gâteaux et du champagne.

Great Resort Everything was clean, grounds well cared for and the staff was friendly. Anything that needed to be done was addressed immediately. The food was amazing and they made a special effort for my husband as it was his birthday with three cakes and champagne.

Nous n'avons eu le privilège de séjourner dans ce complexe que pendant 3 nuits puisque nous étions en mini-vacances, mais nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour. Le complexe est magnifique et bien entretenu. Nous avons été enregistrés très rapidement et nous avons pu nous baigner dans les nombreuses piscines et sur la plage propre de l'hôtel. Le buffet était excellent et offrait une grande variété de choix. Il y a également d'autres restaurants que vous pouvez choisir et réserver. Il est facile de se déplacer dans l'hôtel car des chariots font des allers-retours permanents entre l'hôtel et la plage. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour et espérons revenir la prochaine fois pour une semaine. Merci à tout le personnel qui travaille très dur pour s'assurer que vous êtes à l'aise et heureux à tout moment.

Beautiful resort. We only had the privilege to stay on this resort for 3 nights since we were only on a mini vacation but we enjoyed our stay tremendously. The resort is beautiful and well kept. We were checked in in a very fast manner and enjoyed swimming in the many pools and the clean beach the resort provides. Food in the buffet was excellent and also had a big variety of choices. There are also other restaurants that you can choose and book. Our room was very big with a king size bed and view of the pools. Getting around the resort was easy since they have trolleys going back and forth from the beach all the time. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back next time for a week. Thank you to all the staff that work very hard to make sure you are comfortable and happy at all times.

Excellente station

L'hôtel était agréable. La nourriture était incroyable. La plage et les piscines étaient incroyables, le personnel était très gentil et serviable, le wifi seulement dans le hall, des jouets pour les enfants. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel est très bien, mais il est assez grand

Court trajet depuis l'aéroport.....20 minutes. C'est toujours important pour nous. Ce complexe et les complexes environnants étaient magnifiques. Nous pouvions nous rendre à pied dans plusieurs d'entre eux, utiliser leurs piscines et prendre des boissons. Nous n'avons pas pu manger à leur buffet, ce que nous avons compris. Le terrain était impeccable et luxuriant. Notre chambre avec le lit king size à baldaquin était charmante et confortable. Elle disposait également d'un coin sal [... lire plus]on, ce que nous avons apprécié. Le choix de nourriture était incroyable et la présentation magnifique. Je qualifie la région de "compound". Il y avait au total 7 complexes hôteliers. L'ensemble était bien aménagé et il y avait un tramway "hop on and hop off" qui nous a permis de nous déplacer très rapidement et facilement. Nous avons également pu nous rendre à la plage, qui était un peu éloignée de notre villa. Mais nous étions à 7 minutes de marche de deux piscines. Il y avait une belle fontaine d'eau au centre de l'enceinte. Nous envisageons d'y retourner l'hiver prochain et de réserver à l'Esmeralda Resort. Nous devrions conclure ce commentaire par un défi : Nous n'avons pas apprécié la musique bruyante partout. De plus, j'ai trouvé que le système de sonorisation de la scène était très mauvais. Mais voyez mon âge ci-dessous. J'en ai même tenu compte !

Would recommend this Resort. Give it a 8 1/2 out of 10 Short trip from airport.....20 minutes. This is always important for us. This Resort and surrrounding resorts were beautiful. We could walk to several, use their pools and enjoy drinks. Unable to eat at their buffet, which we understood. Grounds were kept immaculate and were so lush. Our room with the 4 poster canopy king size bed was lovely and comfortable. Also, had a sitting area within, which we appreciated. The selection of food was amazing and the presentation was beautiful. I refer to the area as a compound. It had a total of 7 resort. It was well laid out and there was a tram "hop on and hop off" which got us around very quickly and easily. Also, to the beach which was a bit of a walk from our VILLA. But we were a 7 min. walk to 2 pools. There was a beautiful water fountain in the centre of the compound. We are considering going back next winter and booking at the Esmeralda Resort. Should conclude the review with one challenge: Didn't appreciate the loud music every where. Also, found the stage area had a very poor sound system. But, then see my age below. I even took at into consideration!!

Bien géré

les chambres étaient propres les terrains étaient bien entretenus les boissons étaient correctes les cartes étaient très bonnes les buffets étaient bons mais surtout froids les piscines étaient bonnes mais la plage était trop fréquentée les piscines étaient bonnes mais la plage était trop fréquentée le service était bon dans tout l'hôtel la musique était trop forte dans le hall et le théâtre

well run rooms were clean grounds well kept drinks were o.k. a la cartes were very good buffet food was good but mostly cold pools were good but beach area was too crowded service was good throughout the resort music was too loud in lobby and theatre

Nice Resort

Nous avons apprécié de nous évader et le complexe était magnifiquement aménagé. Notre chambre était agréable et il y avait un chariot pour nous conduire à la plage et au hall d'entrée. Malheureusement, nous avons constaté qu'une grande partie du personnel ne parlait pas ou ne comprenait pas très bien l'anglais. J'étais malade et je voulais voir un médecin et il m'a fallu cinq personnes différentes pour trouver le cabinet du médecin. Soit ils ne me comprenaient pas, soit ils ne savaient pas [... lire plus] où se trouvait le cabinet du médecin. Je suggérerais que le personnel soit plus familier avec certains des environs. Je ne suis pas une personne qui aime les buffets et il m'est donc difficile de faire des commentaires sur la nourriture. La plupart du temps, le service était bon au buffet. Une nuit en particulier, nous avons été placés dans une "chambre élargie" et il n'y avait qu'une seule personne qui essayait de s'occuper des personnes envoyées dans cette chambre. Il a essayé de servir de l'eau, de prendre les commandes de boissons, de vider la vaisselle sale et de changer les nappes tout seul pendant un bon moment. Finalement, deux autres membres du personnel l'ont rejoint. Je lui ai dit que je trouvais qu'il faisait un travail formidable dans ces circonstances. L'autre chose que je voudrais mentionner, ce sont les chaises autour des piscines et de la plage. Il n'y en avait vraiment pas assez. Il fallait être descendu pour obtenir une chaise avant 8 heures du matin, sinon on n'avait pas de chance. Il est indiqué que vous n'êtes pas censé réserver des chaises, mais je peux comprendre pourquoi les gens l'ont fait.

We did enjoy getting away and the resort was landscaped beautifully. Our room was nice and there was a trolley to drive us back and forth to the beach and the lobby. Unfortunately we found that a lot of the staff did not speak or understand English very well. I was ill and wanted to see a doctor and it took five different people that I spoke to in regards to finding the dr's office. Either they did not understand me or they did not know where the dr's office was. I would suggest that the staff be more familiarized with some of the surroundings. I am not a good buffet person for eating so it is hard for me to comment too much on the food. Most of the time service was good in the buffet. One particular night though we were put in an "extended room" and there only person trying to looking after the people being sent to that room. He was trying to serve water, take drink orders, empty dirty dishes and change tablecloths by himself for quite awhile. Eventually a couple of other staff members joined him. I commented to him that I thought he was doing a terrific job under the circumstances. The other thing I would mention is the chairs around the pools and beach. There definitely not enought of them. You had to be down to get a chair by 8:00am or you were out of luck. It says that you are not suppose to reserve chairs but I can understand why people did.
