Grand Decameron Panama: Le surprenant Royal Decameron

Le Royal Decameron est un très beau complexe hôtelier. Le service est excellent, la gentillesse, la politesse, la propreté et la disponibilité. Les restaurants à la carte sont fabuleux et offrent un grand choix. Les restaurants à buffets sont agréables, avec une grande variété de produits et plusieurs des buffets autour de la station. Je recommanderais ce complexe à toute ma famille et à tous mes amis.

Amazing Royal Decameron Royal Decameron is a very nice resort. All around excellent service, friendliness, polite, clean and always ready to assist. The a la carte restaurants are fabulous with a large selection. The buffet restaurants are nice, large variety of items and several of the buffets around the resort. Would recommend this resort to all of my family & friends.

Grand Decameron Panama: De superbes vacances !

Nous avons récemment passé une semaine au Panama au Royal Decameron. Le complexe est immense et offre de nombreuses possibilités d'activités. Je le recommande aux familles. Les terrains sont bien entretenus et les choix de nourriture sont bons. Je recommande à tout le monde d'utiliser de la crème solaire ! Il fait incroyablement chaud et le soleil peut être dur. Mon mari ne brûle jamais, mais il l'a fait lors de ce voyage. La plupart des membres du personnel parlent un minimum d'anglais, leur la [... lire plus]ngue principale étant l'espagnol. Le personnel était relativement amical. En prime, le complexe est situé à 2 minutes de l'aéroport.

Great vacation! We recently enjoyed a week in Panama at the Royal Decameron. The resort is huge and offers lots to do. I would recommend this resort for families. The grounds are well maintained, food choices are good. A note of caution for everyone to use sunscreen! It is incredibly hot and the sun can be harsh. My husband never burns but he did on this trip. Most of the staff speak minimal English with their main language being Spanish. Staff were relatively friendly. Bonus is that the resort is located 2 minutes from the airport.

Riu Playa Blanca: Emotions mitigées

Le trajet de 10 minutes de l'aéroport à l'hôtel était très pratique ! Vous n'avez jamais eu à redouter le trajet typique de plus de 2 heures pour vous rendre à votre lit. L'hôtel et le terrain étaient très modernes et très propres. La nourriture n'était pas stupéfiante, mais elle n'était pas désagréable, en fait il y avait beaucoup de choses que le RIU faisait très bien. Le personnel était très agréable et très serviable. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et la vue était magnifique, quelle que soi [... lire plus]t la chambre. L'océan, bien que très sombre, était très chaud. Le sable, mélange de sable noir et de sable blanc, était très chaud dans l'après-midi. Il est recommandé de porter des sandales de votre siège jusqu'à la plage. Nous avons fait deux excursions, une excursion en bateau dans la jungle (5/5) et une traversée partielle du canal (5/5) !!! Les deux étaient incroyables. La seule chose qui m'a ennuyé dans cette excursion, c'est qu'ils vous incitent à partir pour l'aéroport 2 heures plus tard pour un coût de 5 USD par personne. Il y avait plus de 60 personnes pour réserver cette excursion, alors que l'excursion précédente n'avait été prise que par 20 personnes. Des artistes de l'arnaque ! Dans l'ensemble, un voyage mémorable avec quelques médiocrités mélangées.

Mixed emotions The convenient 10 min ride to the hotel from the airport was great! You never had to dread the typical 2+ hr commute to get to your bed. The hotel and grounds were very modern and very clean. The food although not astounding was not unenjoyable, in fact there were many things that the RIU did very well. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful. The rooms were speacious and the views were great from whatever room. The ocean although very dark was very warm. The sand being a Black sand/white sand mix got very hot in the afternoon. Definitely recommend to wear sandals from your seat to the beach. We did two excursions, jungle boat tour (5/5) and partial canal transit (5/5)!!! Both were amazing. The only thing that actually annyoyed me about this trip was they sucker your into leaving for the airport 2 hours later at a cost of 5 USD per person. There was about 60+ people to book this vs. the earlier one which only about 20 people took. Scam artists! Overall memorable trip with some mediocrity mixed in.

Grand Decameron Panama: Bon centre de villégiature

Très grand complexe avec un excellent personnel. Endroit agréable avec de nombreuses options. La colline est un peu raide mais si vous êtes sur le front de mer, ce n'est pas un problème. Dans l'ensemble, la nourriture est bonne (sauf le poulet cru donné à notre enfant dans le restaurant de fruits de mer) et il y a beaucoup d'options. Les maîtres nageurs sont formidables avec les enfants. Certains bars étaient un peu en retard, mais ce n'était pas si grave. Une piscine était un peu pire que [... lire plus] les autres pour ce qui est de la file d'attente au bar. Sur la plage, la seule chose gênante était les excréments des chevaux. Je suggère plus de zones ombragées pour les gens (autour de la piscine ou de la plage) car le soleil est très fort. C'est vraiment la seule chose que je changerais. L'enregistrement à l'aéroport était super !

Good Resort Very large resort with excellent staff. Nice place with many options. The hill side is a bit steep but if you are on the beach front its not to much of an issue. Overall good food (minus raw chicken fed to our child in the seafood restaurant) with plenty of options. Lifeguards were amazing with children. Some of the bars were a bit backlogged but again it wasn't to bad. One pool was a bit worse then others for a line at the bar. On the beach, the only thing annoying was feces from the horses. I suggest more shaded areas for people (around the pool or beach) as the sun is very strong. This is really the only thing I would change. Check in at the airport was great!

Westin Playa Bonita: Fabulous Resort

Le complexe est incroyable et un vrai 5 étoiles. Absolument impeccable. La plage est magnifique, mais on ne peut pas vraiment s'y baigner. Le personnel se plie en quatre pour vous aider. Les excursions sont très coûteuses. Recommandez la formule tout compris actualisée. Les piscines sont magnifiques et donnent sur l'océan. Vous pouvez voir les bateaux qui s'alignent pour le canal de Panama.

The resort is amazing and a true 5 star. Absolutely spotless. The beach is beautiful but not really swimmable. The staff bend over backwards to assist you. Excursions are very costly. Recommend the updated all inclusive package. Pools are gorgeous and overlook the ocean. You can see the ships lining up for the Panama Canal.

L'hôtel était très agréable, le terrain et les équipements étaient excellents. Cependant, le fait de devoir réserver pour chaque dîner, même si l'on mange au buffet, est ridicule. J'ai voyagé de très nombreuses fois au fil des ans et c'est la première fois que je vais dans un hôtel tout compris où il est difficile d'entrer dans le restaurant-buffet si l'on n'a pas réservé. Ensuite, il y a eu le personnel. Si vous ne parliez pas espagnol, ils ne faisaient pas attention à vous, même dans les [... lire plus] restaurants. Presque à chaque repas, nous devions demander à trois serveurs différents de nous apporter des boissons, et nous parlons de boissons simples comme de l'eau, du coca et du vin. La plupart du temps, ils vous regardaient d'un air absent, ne disaient pas un mot et s'en allaient comme si vous n'existiez pas. Le soir du nouvel an, c'était encore pire. On nous a tellement ignorés que j'ai dû me rendre au poste des serveurs et, alors que quatre d'entre eux étaient là à me regarder, j'ai servi mon propre vin à moi-même et à ma table. Nous avons mangé au buffet ce soir-là et personne n'a débarrassé nos assiettes une seule fois. J'ai dû prendre toutes nos assiettes, me tenir à côté d'un serveur à son chariot et racler nos assiettes dans sa poubelle, puis empiler les assiettes sur son chariot. J'ai ensuite proposé de débarrasser les tables des autres clients, mais ils n'en avaient rien à faire. Cet hôtel a fourni le pire service que j'ai jamais eu. Cependant, si vous parliez espagnol, ils s'occupaient bien de vous. La fête du nouvel an qu'ils ont organisée était géniale, mais elle était entièrement en espagnol et en français, pas du tout en anglais. Je ne recommanderais cet hôtel à aucun de mes compagnons de voyage et je voyage au moins 4 fois par an avec plus de deux douzaines d'amis qui voyagent également avec nous pendant ces périodes.

Not for English speaking people The hotel was very nice and the grounds and amenities were excellent. However having to make reservations for every single dinner, even if eating at the buffet is ridiculous. I have traveled many, many times over the years and this is the first all inclusive that I have ever been to that you would have problems getting into the buffet restaurant if you did not have reservations. Then there was the staff. If you did not speak Spanish then they did not pay any attention to you even at the restaurants. Almost every meal we would have to ask 3 different severs to get us drinks, and we are talking simple drinks like water, coke and wine. Most of the time they would look at you with a blank stare, not say a word and then walk away as if you didn't exist. On new years eve it got even worse. We were ignored so much that I had to go to the servers station and with 4 of them standing there staring at me I served my own wine to myself an my table. We were eating at the buffet that night and nobody cleared our plates even once. I had to get all of our plates, stand beside a server at his cart and scrape off our dishes into his trash can and stack the plates on his cart. I then offered to clear other guests tables as they just didn't care. This hotel provided the absolute worst service I have ever had. However if you spoke Spanish they took good care of you. The new years party that they through was great however it was completely in Spanish and French, no English at all. I would not recommend this resort to any of my travel companions and I travel at least 4 times per year with more that two dozen friends that also travel with us during these times.

Bijao Beach Resort: Superbe séjour au Panama

L'hôtel et le terrain étaient bien entretenus et le personnel sympathique. Plage magnifique à deux minutes de marche de la chambre. La nourriture au buffet et aux restaurants à la carte était délicieuse. Micheal, le serveur du restaurant buffet, a rendu nos repas plus agréables.sauveteurs à la piscine et à la plage. Et un AED.

Great time in Panama The hotel and grounds were well kept and staff friendly. Amazing beach a couple minute walk from room. Food at buffet and a la carte restaurants-delicious. Micheal, server at buffet restaurant made our meals more enjoyable.Lifeguards at pool and beach. And a AED.

Dreams Playa Bonita Panama: Grand centre de villégiature MAIS

Terrain : Le terrain est magnifique ! Piscines : La piscine à débordement est magnifique et la piscine pour adultes est très relaxante. Les flotteurs sont un excellent avantage ! Nourriture : Les restaurants à la carte sont très bons, à l'exception du restaurant italien. Le restaurant Bordeaux était notre préféré. Le service en chambre n'a pas très bien fonctionné au début car ils ne répondaient jamais au téléphone. Il a très bien fonctionné une fois que nous avons appelé la réception  [... lire plus]et qu'ils nous ont fourni un numéro de poste à appeler pour le service en chambre. Le personnel du service d'étage est très gentil et s'efforce de vous rendre heureux. Le réfrigérateur était toujours rempli et il n'y avait aucun problème pour obtenir des bouteilles d'eau. Le café était très agréable. De bons capuchinos et lattes ! Les chambres : Les chambres sont très belles et les lits sont très confortables. Nous avons eu des problèmes pour obtenir des serviettes le premier et le dernier jour de nos vacances. Service : Le personnel ne ménage pas ses efforts. Le barman est incroyable ! Il est très attentif et vous apporte constamment des boissons. Je n'ai jamais reçu un aussi bon service ! Le service dans les restaurants à la carte est également très bon ! La plage : La plage est très agréable pour se promener, mais comme elle se trouve du côté du Pacifique, elle n'est pas comparable aux plages de la Jamaïque, du Mexique et de Cuba. Divertissement : Si vous recherchez la vie nocturne, ce complexe n'est pas fait pour vous. Il y avait une soirée karaoké qui était amusante et divertissante pendant la soirée, mais pour une courte période. La promenade dans la jungle proposée par le complexe est agréable et vaut la peine d'être faite. Passons maintenant aux aspects négatifs. Nous avons été dévorés vivants par les mouches des sables. C'était horrible. Nous avons tous gonflé avec des plaies. Nous sommes rentrés il y a deux jours et nous avons encore des démangeaisons. Nous avons rencontré des gens extraordinaires qui ont rendu nos vacances très agréables. Je ne recommanderais pas ce complexe à cause des piqûres d'insectes. Nous sommes couverts de la tête aux pieds. Le personnel était très gentil et nous a offert des lingettes répulsives supplémentaires, mais rien n'a semblé aider. Nous avons rencontré un couple qui avait passé des vacances dans ce complexe en avril et qui nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas d'insectes en avril [...]. Ils ont été très surpris de voir les piqûres sur tout le monde. J'aurais donné une note de 4 étoiles à ce centre de villégiature s'il n'y avait pas eu les piqûres d'insectes.

Great Resort BUT Grounds: The grounds are amazing! Pools: The infinite pool is beautiful and the adult pool is very relaxing. The floats are a great perk! Food: The a la cartes restaurant are very good with the exception of the Italian restaurant. Bordeaux restaurant was our favourite. The room service didn't work very well at first as they never answered the phone. It worked very well once we called the front desk and they provided us with an extension number to call for room service. Room Service staff are very nice and they try real hard to make you happy. The fridge was always replenished and there was no issue in obtaining bottles of water. The coffee cafe was really nice. Good capuchinos and lattes! Rooms: Rooms are very nice and the beds were very comfortable. We had problems getting towels on the 1st and last day of our holiday. Service: The staff go out of their way. The bartender is amazing! He is very attentive and brings you drinks constantly. I have never received such great service! The service at a la carte restaurants is also very good! Beach: Beach is very nice for walks but since it's on the pacific side, it can't compare to the beaches in Jamaica, Mexico and Cuba. Entertainment: If you are looking for night life, this resort is not for you. There was a karaoke night which was fun and entertainment during the evening but for a short period. The jungle walk that the resort offers is nice and worth doing. Now for the bad. We were eaten alive by sand flies. It was awful. We all swelled up with sores. We've have been back for two days now and we are still itchy. We met amazing people which made our vacation very enjoyable. I would not recommend this resort because of the bug bites. Our bodies are covered from head to toe. Staff were very nice and offered us extra repellent wipes but nothing seemed to help. We met a couple who vacationed at this resort in April and said that there were no bugs back in April ]. They were quite surprised to see the bites on everyone. I would have rated this resort a 4 star if it wasn't for the bug bites.

L'hôtel était agréable et disposait de tout ce qui était indiqué dans la description fournie par l'hôtel, mais certainement pas plus. Assurez-vous d'apporter votre propre serviette, car elles sont épuisées, et si vous pouvez apporter une chaise de plage de voyage, elles étaient sous-équipées à la fois à la piscine et à la plage. Il faut absolument réserver des excursions, car l'hôtel est minuscule et vous risquez d'avoir la fièvre de la cabine. Le seul vrai problème était le check-out - Si vous  [... lire plus]pouvez réserver un vol qui part le matin, c'est le mieux. L'hôtel a refusé d'accepter un départ tardif (12 heures fermes), ce qui nous a fait perdre une journée entière. Nous avons dû attendre dans le hall pendant 6 heures après que l'hôtel ne nous ait même pas donné une chambre de courtoisie pour prendre une douche si nous voulions aller à la plage.

Nice Getaway... Keep Your Expectations Low The resort was nice and had everything listed in the description supplied by the hotel, but definitely not more. Be sure to bring your own towel, as they run out, and if you can bring a travel beach chair they were under equipped both at the pool and beach. Definitely book some excursions as the hotel is tiny and you'll likely get cabin fever. The only really problem was with checkout - If you can book a flight that leaves in the morning this would be best. The hotel refused to accommodate late checkout (12pm firm) which left us losing an entire day. We had to wait in the lobby for 6 hours after the hotel wouldn't even give us a courtesy room to shower if we wanted to go to the beach.

Westin Playa Bonita: Un excellent choix pour une semaine de vacances reposantes

C'est un très bel hôtel récent, avec un grand hall d'entrée et un personnel qui fait de son mieux pour plaire. Cependant, la plupart des employés ne parlent pas anglais. N'attendez rien de bon de la plage, si vous êtes un adepte de la plage, vous ne serez pas du tout impressionné par la plage. Dans l'ensemble, l'expérience a été très agréable et le WiFi fonctionne partout, y compris à la plage. L'emplacement est assez proche de la ville de Panama. Je le recommande si vous n'êtes jamais allé [... lire plus] à Panama auparavant.

An excellect choice for a relaxing week vacation spot This is a very nice and new hotel, grand lobby and all the staffs are trying their best to please. However, most of the staff do not speak English. Do not expect anything good from the beach though, if you are a beach person then you will not be impress with the beach at all. Overall a very nice experience and WiFi works everywhere including at the beach. Location is close enough to Panama city. I would recommend it if you have never been to Panama before.

Grand Decameron Panama: Pas déçu

C'était notre troisième voyage au Royal Decameron au Panama. Temps chaud, comme prévu, bon service et bonne nourriture. La plage est fantastique, l'eau très chaude et agréable. J'ai été troublée de voir des chevaux sur la plage se soulager sur le rivage et sur le sable (où les enfants jouent). Je l'ai écrit dans l'évaluation donnée à la fin de notre séjour, et j'espère que quelque chose sera fait pour remédier à la situation, car l'idée de nager avec de la merde de cheval est répugnante. Lo [... lire plus]rs de nos deux précédents séjours, il n'y avait pas de chevaux sur la plage, et cette fois-ci, les deux chevaux ont rarement rapporté des affaires au propriétaire.

Not disappointed This was our third trip to the Royal Decameron in Panama. Hot weather, as expected, good service and food. Beach is fantastic, water very warm and pleasant. I was disturbed to see horses on the beach relieving themselves on the shore and onto the sand (where children play). I did write this in the evaluation given at the end of our stay, and hopefully something will be done to remedy the situation, as the idea of swimming with horse shit is repulsive. Our previous two stays there were no horses on the beach, and this time the two horses rarely brought any business to the owner.

Grand Decameron Panama: Un temps magnifique et une station très propre !

Mon mari et moi sommes allés plusieurs fois au Royal Decameron Beach Resort à Panama. Le fait que le nouvel aéroport soit ouvert si près du complexe a été une expérience extraordinaire. Le terrain est impeccable et le personnel est sympathique. L'ajout de toboggans aquatiques est génial ! Nous reviendrons bientôt, c'est certain.

Awesome weather and a very clean resort! My husband and I have been to the Royal Decameron Beach Resort in Panama many times. Having the new airport open so close to the resort was an amazing experience. The grounds are impeccable and the staff are friendly. The addition of the waterslides is awesome! We will be back soon for sure.

Bijao Beach Resort: L'expérience standard du Sheraton

Nous avons trouvé que c'était un bon complexe pour le prix payé. Il n'y avait rien à redire. Les piscines et la plage étaient superbes. Les chambres étaient propres, le service était amical et serviable mais pas exagéré. Nous avons apprécié les restaurants à la carte. Le buffet était bon mais parfois trop chargé. Il y avait une bonne variété d'activités et le personnel de loisirs les a rendues amusantes (en particulier le volley-ball). Les courts de tennis sont en très bon état. Il aurait été bi [... lire plus]en que les sports nautiques non motorisés (par exemple les kayaks) soient inclus. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et je recommanderais le Sheraton Resort à d'autres personnes.

The Standard Sheraton Experience We thought it was a good resort for the price paid. There wasn't anything to complain about. The pools and beach were great. The rooms were clean, the service was friendly and helpful but not over the top. We enjoyed the a la carte restaurants. The buffet was good but too busy at times. There was a nice variety of activities and the recreation staff made them fun (especially volleyball). The tennis courts are in great condition. It would have been nice if the non motorized water sports (ie kayaks) were included. Overall we had an amazing time and I would recommend the Sheraton resort to others.

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans ce complexe. Il est bien géré, le personnel est vraiment agréable et professionnel. Les installations sont très bien, même si elles sont un peu usées à certains endroits. Le terrain et les piscines sont magnifiquement entretenus. Superbe chambre, vue sur l'océan - un peu bruyante le soir s'il y avait un spectacle dans le théâtre extérieur près du hall 1. La nourriture était bonne, pas exceptionnelle mais assez bonne pour un buffet. Les restaurants à l [... lire plus]a carte étaient de qualité variable, mais le service et l'ambiance étaient toujours excellents. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Un point négatif : méfiez-vous des excursions vendues dans le hall d'entrée ; nous avons été gravement lésés lors de notre excursion sur le canal. Il faut vraiment faire attention à ce que les détails soient respectés.

Well-run resort We had an excellent week at this resort. It is well run, the staff are really pleasant and professional. The facilities are fine, if a little worn around the edges in areas. Beautifully-maintained grounds and pools. Great room, ocean view - a bit noisy at night if there was a show in the outdoor theatre near lobby 1. The food was fine, not exceptional but pretty good for buffet style. The a la carte restaurants were variable in food quality, but always excellent service and ambiance. All-in-all, excellent value. One negative...buyer beware on the tours sold in the lobby; we were badly shortchanged on our Canal excursion. Really be careful in terms of ensuring the specifics are adhered to.

C'est un beau complexe avec une longue plage, proche de l'aéroport de Rio Hato. La nourriture n'était pas très variée mais correcte. Les parties communes et les piscines du complexe sont propres et le personnel sympathique. Malheureusement, seuls quelques membres du personnel parlent anglais.

Nice resort This is a nice resort with a long beach, close to the Rio Hato airport. The food was not to various but ok. Public area and the pools of the resort are clean and the personal friendly. Unfortunately, just a few of the staff are speaking English.

Les toilettes publiques des bars de plage étaient assez sales. Le paysage extérieur était magnifique. Les chambres étaient toujours bien nettoyées et froides. Le personnel était très aimable. La nourriture était correcte, mais les snack-bars étaient les seules options pour manger sans réservation.

Good resort The public washrooms in the beach bars were pretty dirty. The outside landscape was beautiful. The rooms were always well cleaned and cold. The staff was very friendly. The food was decent, but the snack bars were the only options for food without booked reservations.

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent complexe - assez grand, les chambres sont belles et propres, les buffets sont excellents, la plage est une bonne chose. Le service de location de voitures est à un prix raisonnable et se trouve juste en face de l'entrée. Le personnel est professionnel. L'ensemble du processus d'enregistrement et de départ est très bien organisé. La nourriture du restaurant à la carte est moins bonne que prévu. Politique un peu bizarre en ce qui concerne l'eau potable - on  [... lire plus]a l'impression qu'il y a une pénurie et qu'il faut remplir les bouteilles dans les bars ou les halls. La plupart du personnel ne parle pas anglais, mais ce n'est pas grave. Les promenades et excursions en bateau à moteur sont assez chères - il faut s'en souvenir. Mais dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de bons moments et nous avons beaucoup aimé l'île.

Great resort Overall a great resort - pretty big, rooms are nice and clean, buffets are great, a beach is good. Car rental facility is fair in price and right in front of the entrance. The staff is professional. The whole check in and out process is very well organized. The la carte restaurant food is lower level than expected. A bit weird policy in regards to drinking water - feels like there is a shortage of it and you have to refill the bottles in the bars or lobbies. Most of the staff doesnt speak English, but it's not a big deal. Water motorized rides and tours are quite expensive - just keep in mind. But overall we spent great time there and we liked it a lot.

Ce centre de villégiature était incroyable. Bonne nourriture, gens formidables, chambres agréables et chaudes. Près d'une ville. Excursions à réserver. Les piscines étaient propres et grandes. Je recommanderais cet endroit à tout le monde. Il y a des navettes pour vous emmener autour de la station
