Melia Cayo Coco: Excellente destination de vacances

Melia Las Dunas: Très bien pour l'essentiel.

L'hôtel était vraiment très bien. Le bar du hall était génial. Probablement l'élément le plus agréable de l'hôtel. La chambre était bien, sauf le lit. Il était vraiment médiocre. Les ressorts du lit traversaient le matelas. La nourriture était médiocre. A la hauteur de ce que l'on trouve à Cuba. La plage était fabuleuse. Elle compensait tout ce qui n'était pas génial.

Very nice for the most part. The hotel was really pretty good. The lobby bar was great. Probably the resort's nicest feature. Room was fine except for the bed. It was really poor. Bed springs poking through the mattress. Food was so-so. On a par for Cuba. The beach was fabulous. Made up for anything not so great.

Melia Marina Varadero: Très bonne station

Nous avons voyagé fin mars au Melia marina Varadero. L'emplacement est un peu éloigné de tout, à environ une demi-heure de Varadero et de l'avant-dernière station balnéaire de la péninsule. Cependant, c'était calme et il y avait tout ce que l'on pouvait désirer. Le plus gros problème que j'ai eu, c'est que les boissons étaient inintéressantes et trop petites et que les divertissements se déroulaient à l'extérieur, dans une zone difficile d'accès où il n'était pas toujours possible d'obtenir une  [... lire plus]place avec vue sur la "scène". Les piscines étaient peu profondes et froides mais c'est typique de Cuba. La nourriture était excellente. Le buffet est devenu répétitif à la fin de la semaine, mais que peut-on faire ? Les restaurants latins et français étaient excellents. Nous avons volé avec Canjet et n'avons eu aucun problème. Faites attention à ce que vous obtenez. L'option du plan européen n'est pas tout compris car il y a des condos sur la propriété qui sont des endroits où l'on peut cuisiner soi-même. Le complexe est conçu pour les deux types d'activités avec une zone de marché qui ne fait pas partie de l'option "tout compris". Vous disposez de votre propre piscine dans les appartements. Nous étions en formule tout compris. C'est ce que nous préférons. Nous recommandons définitivement cette propriété et le niveau de service.

Very good resort We travelled late March to Melia marina Varadero. The location is a bit far from everything, about a half hour or so from Varadero and the second to last resort on the peninsula. However, it was quiet and had everything one could want. The biggest issue I had was the drinks being uninteresting and too small and the entertainment is outside and it was in an ackward area where you couldn't always get a seat with a view of the "stage". The pools were shallow and cold but that's typical of cuba. The food was excellent. The buffet got repetitive by the end of the week,mbut what can you do. The Latin and french restaurants were excellent. We flew canjet and had no issues. Be careful to know what you are getting. The European plan option is not all inclusive as there are condos on the property that are cook yourself kind of places. The resort is set up for both with a market area that is not part of the all inclusive. You have your own pool at the condos. We were all inclusive. We prefer it that way. We definately recommend this property and the level service.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Plus de bien que de mal

Le terrain était magnifique. Un très joli complexe bien aménagé. Beaucoup de choix au buffet. Certains sont meilleurs que d'autres, mais pour Cuba, ils sont au-dessus de la moyenne et vous n'aurez pas faim. Les divertissements nocturnes dans le hall d'entrée sont absolument merveilleux. Je ne suis jamais allé au théâtre. Les plages sont meilleures dans le centre ville. L'hôtel est très propre. Les problèmes éventuels n'étaient pas dus à la fréquence du nettoyage mais à des touristes qui n'avaien [... lire plus]t aucune considération pour les autres ou qui n'avaient pas de bonnes manières. Le plus gros problème était le nombre impressionnant de visiteurs québécois grossiers et ignorants. J'ai eu deux altercations avec des Québécois dont le français était la première langue. C'est le seul problème qui pourrait m'empêcher de revenir. L'hôtel est en train de se rénover car les chambres sont un peu fatiguées et l'extérieur des bâtiments a besoin d'un peu de soin. Je recommanderais l'hôtel en prenant garde aux visiteurs québécois impolis. Aucun problème avec les visiteurs français, allemands, écossais, vancouvérois ou néo-brunswickois ; seulement avec les Québécois.

More good than bad Grounds were amazing. A very pretty well laid out resort. Lots of choices at the buffet. Some better than others but for Cuba above average and you will not go hungry. Nightly entertainment in the lobby absolutely wonderful. Never went to the theatre entertainment. Beaches better downtown. Resort very clean. Any issues were not due to the frequency of cleaning but by tourists with no consideration for others or common sense manners. Biggest issue was the sheer number of rude, ignorant visitors from Quebec. Had two altercations with French as a 1st language individuals from Quebec. That would be the one issue that might keep me from returning. They are renovating as the rooms are getting a bit tired and the exterior of the buildings need some TLC. Would recommend with beware of rude Quebec visitors. No issues with visitors from France, Germany, Scotland, Vancouver or New Brunswick; just Quebec.

Melia Marina Varadero: Fantastique !

C'est l'un des meilleurs hôtels de Cuba, j'étais seule, je me suis sentie en sécurité, la nourriture était bonne, le service excellent. La chambre était super propre ! On ne peut pas demander mieux, tout le monde dans l'hôtel avait le sourire, vous allez adorer !

Fantastic! This is one of the best hotel in Cuba, I was by myself, I feel safe, the food was good, excellent service. The room was super clean! Cannot asked for better, everyone in the hotel had a smile on, you will love it!

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Excellente station pour les couples.

La plage est parfaite et le terrain est magnifique. Notre chambre était située suffisamment loin de la piscine et des bars pour que nous n'entendions aucun bruit. Nous étions à quelques pas d'une belle et longue plage. C'était la deuxième fois que nous venions ici et nous y retournerons.

Excellent couples resort. The beach is perfect and the grounds are beautiful. Our room was located far enough away from the pool and bars that we didn't hear any noise at all. It was a short walk from a nice long beach. This was our second time here and we'll go again.

Zel Cozumel: melia cozumel

C'est un très bon hôtel, ils ont une très belle piscine et les restaurants à la carte sont excellents.La nourriture est bonne mais ils n'ont pas beaucoup de variété de nourriture.Il n'y a que de la nourriture mexicaine, et c'est un buffet donc je suggère qu'ils mettent de la nourriture de différents pays, ce serait génial.

It is a very good hotel, they have a very nice pool and the restaurants a la carte are excellent.The food is good but they don't have a lot of variety of food.There is only Mexican food there,and its a buffet so i suggest they put food from different countries it will be great.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Melia Cayo Santa Maria - Paradise Island

tout dans ce complexe était excellent je le recommanderais à n'importe qui il était très propre ce qui est important, les gens et le personnel étaient très amicaux le service était très bon aussi. nous n'avons pas de plaintes du tout c'était vraiment un endroit cinq étoiles pour Cuba.

everything at this resort was excellent I would recommend it to anybody it was very clean which is important, people and staff were very friendly the service was very good as well. we have no complaints at all it was definitely a five star location for Cuba.

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Toujours gagnant

Excellente qualité et variété de la nourriture, service, amabilité du personnel, suites de luxe Jr propres et spacieuses, terrain impeccablement entretenu, piscines spacieuses et plage où l'on n'est pas importuné par les vendeurs toute la journée. Rien qui ne puisse nuire à un séjour parfait de deux semaines.

Still a winner Excellent food quality and variety, service, friendliness of staff, clean spacious deluxe Jr suites, impeccably kept grounds,spacious pools and a beach where you're not hassled by vendors all day. Nothing to detract from a perfect two week stay.

Melia Las Dunas: Grand potentiel

Le terrain est magnifique, avec une grande variété de plantes et de fleurs ! Les chambres sont spacieuses, propres pour la plupart, mais l'aération laisse à désirer, la climatisation fonctionne à peine et l'odeur d'humidité est très forte. Les lits ne sont pas très confortables et les draps, bien que propres, sont troués. Un nouveau système de ventilation, des lits et des draps neufs feraient des merveilles ! La nourriture était assez bonne pour Cuba, très variée, mais encore une fois, la ventil [... lire plus]ation près du buffet à l'arrière du restaurant ne fonctionnait pas correctement et les tables à cette extrémité étaient dans une zone enfumée. L'avant du restaurant était mieux et l'air beaucoup plus respirable. Le personnel est très courtois, amical et désireux de plaire pour la plupart ! Les plages sont difficiles à battre, des eaux turquoises magnifiques et une belle plage de sable, mais il faudrait plus de cabanes pour l'ombre. Je ne suis pas un adepte de la piscine, donc je ne peux pas vraiment évaluer les piscines, sauf pour dire qu'il y avait 2 grandes piscines qui avaient l'air bien. Dans l'ensemble, de bonnes vacances qui pourraient être excellentes si quelques changements étaient apportés. En particulier la ventilation. Je recommanderais en fonction de l'ami.

Great potential Grounds are gorgeous, variety of beautiful plants and blooming flowers! Rooms are spacious, mostly clean, but poor ventillation, air conditionning barely working and a very strong smell of humidity. Beds are not very comfortable and linens although clean, had holes in them. A new ventilation system and new beds & linens would work wonders! Food was pretty good for Cuba, lots of variety, but again, the ventilation near the buffet in the back of the restaurant wasn't working properly and tables at that end were in a smoky area. The front of the restaurant was better and the air much more breathable. Staff very courteous, friendly and wanting to please for the most part! The beaches are hard to beat, gorgeous turquoise waters and beautiful sandy beach, but could use more huts for shade. Not a pool person, so can't really rate pools except to say there were 2 big pools which looked nice. Overall good vacation with potential to be great if a few changes take place. Especially ventilation. Would recommend depending on which friend.

Hotel Camino del Mar: Station très récente, en cours de construction, mais pas mal

Nous avons été satisfaits de l'hôtel, il était propre et le personnel était très gentil. Négatifs - construction, odeur d'égout, plage rocheuse pleine de corail, trop grand. Positifs - grande variété de nourriture, sûr, propre, grandes chambres, superbes piscines. ce sera mieux dans quelques années quand tout sera terminé.

Very new resort, under construction but not bad We were pleased with the resort it was clean & staff was very nice. Negatives - construction, sewage smell, rocky beach full of coral, too big. Positives - lots of food variety, safe,clean, large rooms, great pools. will be better in a couple years when its all finished.

Melia Jardines del Rey: Beau complexe touristique !

Le complexe est encore en construction et n'est ouvert qu'à moitié. Les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons, les buffets sont devenus ennuyeux au bout d'un moment. Les terrains étaient corrects mais toujours en construction. Le hall d'entrée est immense et c'est un endroit agréable pour se détendre à tout moment de la journée. Le bar du hall prépare un café de spécialité extraordinaire !

Nice Resort! The resort is still under construction with only half open. A la carte restaurants were very good, buffet food got boring after a while. Grounds were ok but still under construction. Lobby area is huge and a nice place to hang out anytime if day. They make amazing specialty coffee at the lobby bar!

Melia Peninsula Varadero: C'était un centre de villégiature correct

Avantages : Très beau paysage et feuillage Les animations en soirée étaient très bonnes La plage était agréable le snack-bar ouvert 24 heures sur 24 était pratique Le personnel est poli et amical Inconvénients : Les lits sont terriblement inconfortables La nourriture était bonne mais nous avons été malades les trois derniers jours à cause des fuites. Ils ne passent que de la musique espagnole

They don't play anything but spanish music

Melia Jardines del Rey: ENCORE DE BELLES VACANCES

Ce complexe est très grand. L'hébergement, le personnel et la nourriture étaient tous très bons. La plage n'était pas à notre goût car il y avait trop de rochers, pas assez grande et trop de monde, donc pour nous seulement de bonnes vacances. Il y a du travail à faire pour améliorer la qualité de la plage.

ANOTHER GREAT VACATION This resort is very large. The accomodation, staff and food were all very good. The beach was not to our liking as too many rocks, not big enough and too crowded, therefore for us only a good vacation. Work needs to be done to improve the quality of the beach.

Melia Cayo Santa Maria: Superbe voyage !

C'était la troisième fois que nous retournions dans ce complexe, visité la première semaine d'avril 2015. Nous avions essayé un autre complexe dans la même région l'année dernière, mais nous sommes retournés au MCSM pour l'atmosphère, la taille du complexe (pas trop grand) et, surtout, le personnel, qui est extraordinaire. Belle plage, beaux jardins et piscines. Nous n'avons pas eu de problème d'eau chaude et la chambre a été nettoyée et les draps changés tous les jours. Il n'y avait pas de serv [... lire plus]iettes de plage à échanger pendant toute la semaine où nous étions là, mais ce n'était pas un problème pour nous. La variété de la nourriture était un peu limitée dans le buffet mais nous pouvions toujours trouver quelque chose que nous aimions et les stations de viande et de pâtes cuisinées à la demande étaient excellentes. Les smoothies aux fruits du matin et les œufs préparés à la demande au petit-déjeuner étaient excellents, les croissants et les beignets frais tous les matins étaient un régal ! Nous avons apprécié les restaurants italien et japonais (très divertissants) et nous avons eu un dîner spécial au restaurant français qui était très agréable. Les barbecues au restaurant de la plage à l'heure du déjeuner avaient de longues files d'attente, mais le poulet et le porc grillés valaient la peine d'attendre ! Le personnel est toujours souriant et prêt à aider. La plage était magnifique comme toujours, mais il y avait beaucoup de vent pendant la semaine et nous ne nous sommes pas aventurés dans l'océan jusqu'à la fin de notre séjour. Le service de boissons autour de la piscine est excellent, grâce à Osbeil qui est formidable. Des activités quotidiennes sont proposées si vous souhaitez y participer. Dans l'ensemble, le séjour a été très agréable. Le personnel s'efforce manifestement de faire de cet endroit un lieu agréable à visiter. Les responsables du contrôle de la qualité étaient visibles tous les jours pour s'assurer que tout était en ordre. Je reviendrais, c'est un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Great Trip! This was our third time returning to this resort, visited the first week of April 2015. We had tried another resort in the same area last year but returned to the MCSM for the atmosphere, the size of the resort (not too big) and, most importantly, the staff, who are amazing. Beautiful beach, lovely gardens and pools. We had no issues with hot water and the room was cleaned and linens changed daily. There were no beach towels available for exchange the entire week we were there but was not an issue for us. Food variety was a bit limited in the buffet but we could always find something we liked and the cooked-to-order meat and pasta stations were excellent. Morning fruit smoothies and eggs made to order at breakfast were great, croissants and fresh donuts every morning were a treat! We enjoyed the Italian and Japanese restaurants (very entertaining) and had a special dinner at the French restaurant which was very nice. BBQ at lunchtime at the beach restaurant had long lineups but the BBQ chicken and pork were worth the wait! Staff always smiling and ready to help. The beach was beautiful as always but lots of wind during the week so did not venture into the ocean until towards the end of our stay. Drink service around the pool area is great, thanks to Osbeil who is amazing. Daily activities available should you choose to join in. All in all it was a very enjoyable trip, the staff are obviously trying to make this a great place to visit. Quality control managers were visible every day ensuring things were up to par. Would return again, good value for the price.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Nous avons séjourné au Melia Pensulia. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. C'était notre premier voyage en famille. Nous avons emmené notre fils pour la première fois. Il a apprécié chaque minute de son voyage. Le complexe était très accueillant pour les familles. Le personnel était si accommodant et amical. Le service client était vraiment génial. Nous aimons vraiment Cuba. nous avons également apprécié toutes les activités qu'ils proposaient et c'était très amusant ! Nous y retournerons cert [... lire plus]ainement !

awesome resort We stayed at the Melia Pensulia. We had a wonderful time. It was a first family trip. We took our son for the first time. He so enjoyed every minute of his trip. The resort was very family friendly. The staff was so accommodating and friendly. Customer service was really great. We really love cuba. we also enjoyed all the activities that they offered and that was a lot of fun! We would go back for sure!

Hotel Vigia: vacances reposantes...personnel formidable !

Nous avons visité ce complexe 4 fois. La nourriture est bonne et le service est excellent. Les chambres sont un peu délabrées, mais très propres. Le terrain est bien entretenu. La plage est fantastique ! Je vous conseille d'apporter une serviette de plage, car il arrive que les serviettes ne soient pas disponibles. Les salons de piscine partent rapidement, mais vous pouvez en trouver un sur la plage facilement. Nous reviendrons !

restful vacation...wonderful staff! We have visited this resort 4 times. The food is good and the service is great. The rooms are a bit run down , but very clean The grounds are well kept.The beach is fantastic! I would suggest you bring a beach towel, as towels may sometimes not be available. Pool lounges go quickly but you can find one on the beach easily. We will be returning!

Melia Cayo Coco: excellent centre de villégiature excellent personnel

Cet hôtel est juste de la bonne taille, pas trop grand, pas trop petit... La nourriture était la meilleure que j'ai mangée à Cuba....Le personnel était tout simplement fantastique... le service était excellent. Propreté et beauté des lieux. Le mariage de notre fille était merveilleux....

Sol Cayo Santa Maria: Vacances relaxantes à Cuba

À l'origine, nous devions séjourner au Sol Santa Maria, mais sur le chemin de l'hôtel, on nous a informés que nous, et tous les autres clients du Sol dans le bus, avions été surclassés au Melia Santa Maria (une propriété sœur). On ne nous a jamais expliqué pourquoi nous avions été surclassés, mais après avoir marché jusqu'au Sol pour le vérifier, nous étions très heureux d'avoir été surclassés. Le Sol avait l'air d'avoir besoin d'être rénové et la piscine était verte avec des algues à certains e [... lire plus]ndroits. Le Melia Santa Maria était très agréable et le personnel était à la fois amical et accommodant. La propriété est de taille moyenne et très propre, le terrain est magnifique. La nourriture était bonne, sur une échelle de 1 à 10 je lui donnerais 5. Le personnel de la réception était sympathique, mais il y avait parfois un peu de décalage linguistique.

Relaxing Vacation in Cuba We were originally booked to stay at the Sol Santa Maria but on our way to the resort we were informed that we, and all other Sol guests on that bus, had been upgraded to the Melia Santa Maria (a sister property). We were never given an explanation as to why we were upgraded, but after walking over to the Sol to check it out we were very happy that we did receive the upgrade. The Sol looked like it was in need of some updating and the pool was green with algae in some areas. The Melia Santa Maria was very nice and the staff were both friendly and accommodating. The property is mid-size and kept very clean, the grounds were beautiful. The food was good, on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 5. The front desk staff were friendly, but there was a bit of a language gap at times.

Le charme de l'hôtel, la gentillesse du personnel, ont fait de cette lune de miel tardive une expérience extraordinaire. Le complexe est plus ancien, mais cela ne fait qu'ajouter au charme, la plage était fantastique, l'expérience globale pour ce vacancier débutant a été fantastique...
