GOOD RESORT(if priced $925.00 or less) THE RESORT IS ALRIGHT IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT. THE GROUNDS ARE OK THE ROOMS NEED UPDATING BUT ARE KEPT CLEAN THE FOOD IS GOOD, THE VARIETY IS NOT THERE BUT THE QUALITY IS GOOD. WE HAVE GONE 4 TIMES TO THIS RESORT SIMPLY BECAUSE THE PRICE WAS CHEAP - IF IT WERE MORE EXPENSIVE WE WOULD GO ELSEWHERE. OVERALL VERY GOOD IF THE PRICE IS RIGHT. ($925.00 or less) WOULD GO BACK IF IT IS AT THAT PRICE.

Chaque dollar dépensé en vaut la peine

C'était la deuxième fois que je venais dans ce centre de villégiature. Et c'était fantastique. Le personnel était plus qu'heureux de m'aider à tout moment. Les divertissements étaient excellents. Ils ont fait venir un groupe de jazz des Etats-Unis et ils ont été fantastiques. Je reviendrai en mars, cette fois pour plus longtemps. Mesdames, je suis une femme seule et je me suis sentie en sécurité. S'il y avait une chose à améliorer, ce serait les réservations pour le dîner, il faut faire la queue [... lire plus]. Cela devrait être un peu plus facile.

Worth every dollar spent This was my second time at this resort . And it was fantastic . The staff were more than happy to assist at any time . The entertainment was great . They brought in a jazz band from the USA abd they were fantastic. I will be returning again in March this time for longer . Ladies I am a single woman who went on her own and felt safe there. If there was one thing they could improve on it would be the reservations for dinner you wait in a line up . Should be a little easier .

Grand centre de villégiature

Le complexe est un peu vieux mais bien entretenu, il est compact et la nourriture est bonne, nous avons voyagé en basse saison donc il n'y avait pas trop de monde, il était facile d'avoir une place à la piscine et à la plage. L'équipe d'animation est formidable, elle fait de son mieux pour occuper les familles. Le casino et le centre commercial local sont accessibles à pied. Nous y retournerons et réservons toujours avec Debbie de Trip central.

Great Resort The resort is little old but well maintained, it is compact and the food is good, we traveled in the low season so it was not busy, easy to get a spot on the pool and the beach. The entertainment team is amazing, they try their best to keep families busy. It is walking distance to the casino and the local mall. We will go back and always book with Debbie from Trip central.

Grande semaine d'avril à Gran Ventana

Petit hôtel sympa. Belle chambre avec vue sur la piscine et le bar. La plage est accessible à pied et il est toujours facile de s'y baigner. La nourriture au buffet et à la carte était toujours bonne. Personnel très amical et attentif.

Great Week in April at Gran Ventana Nice smaller resort. Nice room overlooking the quiet pool & bar. Short walk to the beach which was always easy to swim in. Food at the buffet and ala cartes was always good. Very friendly and attentive staff.

Excellente nourriture !

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour. Nous avons adoré le volley-ball et la convivialité. C'était très propre et les divertissements étaient au centre de tout le reste, de sorte que tout le monde participe toujours à l'amusement. Nous avons amené nos deux filles adolescentes et elles se sont amusées comme des folles ! Elles ont dansé avec le personnel et se sont fait de nouveaux amis :-)

Excellent food!! We enjoys our stay. We loved the volleyball , the friendliness . It was very clean and the entertainment was central to everything else, so everyone is always part of the fun. We brought our 2 teenaged daughters and they even had a blast! They danced with staff and met a lot of new friends :-)

Très beau complexe hôtelier

Je viens de rentrer de deux semaines de vacances au Gran Ventana. Après avoir lu de nombreuses critiques, je n'ai pas été surpris. Je suis d'accord avec la plupart des commentaires, positifs et négatifs. L'endroit est propre, les chambres sont spacieuses, la nourriture était bonne, le personnel était très amical et le temps était parfait. Je n'ai donc pas à me plaindre. Je pense que vous pouvez faire de vos vacances ce que vous voulez. Vous pouvez vous plaindre de la disponibilité des chaises ou [... lire plus] vous pouvez chercher jusqu'à ce que vous en trouviez une. Vous pouvez vous plaindre de la dureté des oreillers ou leur en demander un plus doux. Si vous ne trouvez rien qui vous plaise au buffet, vous devriez aller dans un hôtel où vous pouvez avoir votre majordome personnel et payer pour cela. J'ai constaté qu'ils s'efforcent de répondre à vos demandes. Une demande qu'ils n'ont pas pu satisfaire est une tasse de café chaud le matin ou de l'eau chaude pour le thé. Ils savent que l'eau froide ne fait pas une tasse de thé chaude, mais les clients consomment du café et de l'eau chaude plus vite que l'hôtel ne peut la faire bouillir. Cela ne m'a pas dérangé puisque j'ai décidé de ne pas boire de thé du tout. La prochaine fois, j'emporterai un petit chauffe-eau électrique et un thermos pour chauffer le café ou faire de l'eau chaude moi-même. L'excursion que j'ai faite dans la ville était une expérience de shopping à prix élevé. À l'exception du téléphérique, j'aurais pu me passer du reste. Si vous êtes un aventurier, vous pouvez prendre les transports locaux jusqu'au téléphérique, acheter votre billet, passer autant de temps que vous le souhaitez, puis acheter votre rhum et vos cigares à l'aéroport ou à la plage. Oubliez ces pierres précieuses hors de prix. Je considère qu'il s'agit d'une escroquerie et d'un gaspillage d'argent. L'Internet n'est pas très fiable même après avoir payé 20 $ par semaine parce que je pensais que j'obtiendrais un meilleur Internet que celui qui est disponible gratuitement dans le hall et à la piscine principale. J'aimerais qu'ils renoncent à la gratuité et qu'ils fournissent une connexion Internet fiable à un prix raisonnable. J'ai payé 50-60 $/semaine dans d'autres complexes hôteliers de la région et je n'ai pas obtenu un meilleur service. Je serais intéressé d'entendre d'autres personnes qui ont pu obtenir un service local en utilisant leur téléphone intelligent comme point d'accès. Les divertissements étaient au mieux médiocres, mais ils font des efforts et cela vaut la peine d'y assister si vous préférez cela à regarder la télévision ou à discuter avec d'autres clients. En général, ce n'est pas un paradis comme l'ont pensé certains clients, mais c'est un hébergement confortable et agréable à un prix correct. Je reviendrais sans aucun doute, à un prix correct. Very nice Resort Just returned from a two weeks vacation at the Gran Ventana. Having read many of the reviews there were no surprises. I agree with most of the reviews, positives and negatives. The place is clean, rooms are spacious, food was good, staff were very friendly and the weather was perfect. So I have no complaints. I believe you can make your holidays whatever you wanted to be. You can complain about the availability of chairs or you can look around until you find one. You can complain about the hard pillows or you can ask them for a softer one. If you cannot find something you like at the buffet, then you should go to a resort where you can have your personal butler and pay for it. I found they will try hard to accommodate your requests. One request they couldn't accommodate is a hot cup of coffee in the morning or hot water for tea. They know that cold water doesn't make hot cup of tea, but guests consume coffee and hot water faster than the resort can boil it. It didn't bother me however since I decided to skip drinking tea all together. Next time I will carry with me one of those small electric water heater and a thermos cup and heat their coffee or make hot water myself. The city tour excursion I took was a highly priced shopping experience. Except for the cable car, the rest I could have done without. So if you are adventurer you can take local transportation to the cable car buy your ticket, spent as much time as you wanted then buy your rum and cigars at the airport or at the beach. Forget about those highly priced precious stones. I consider this as a rip-off waste of money. Internet is not very reliable even after paying $ 20 a week because I thought I would get better internet than the free one that is available at the lobby and the main pool. I wish they do without the free one and provide a reliable internet at a reasonable price. I paid $ 50-60/ week in some other resorts in the area and didn't get any better service. I would be interested to hear from others who could obtain local service using their smart phone as a hot-spot. Entertainment was mediocre at best, but they try hard and it is worth attending if you prefer it over watching TV or chatting with other guests. In general it is no paradise as some guests thought, nevertheless a comfortable and enjoyable accommodation at the right price. I would, at the right price, definitely return again.
