Melia Las Dunas: Agréablement surpris

J'ai déjà été à Cuba et je me suis bien amusée, mais je n'ai pas apprécié la nourriture. On m'a dit qu'on ne va pas à Cuba pour la nourriture. Ce centre de villégiature était incroyable ! Je n'ai jamais eu faim. La nourriture était toujours fraîche et il y avait une grande variété de choses différentes ! Le personnel était formidable et très serviable. Nous y sommes allés pour un mariage, ce qui était un peu mal organisé, mais dans l'ensemble, le voyage était amusant !

Pleasantly Surprised I have been to Cuba before and enjoyed myself but didn't enjoy the food. I was told you don't go to cuba for food. This resort was amazing! I never went hungry. The food was always fresh and they had a variety of different things! The staff was amazing and very helpful. We went for a wedding which was a little unorganized but overall the trip was fun!

Sol Palmeras: Une expérience formidable !

Pour ma 6ème visite à Cuba, et la 3ème pour ma femme, dans différents centres de villégiature, des vacances extraordinaires à Sol Palmeras. Superbe bungalow, super buffet La Panchita, avec des plats variés et un service à table exceptionnel (merci Evian, Mabel, Yunislady et Rosita !). Le bar du hall Cubitas, avec des cocktails savoureux et des serveurs divertissants (merci René, et tous les autres dont je n'ai pas retenu le nom !) Un excellent service de nettoyage, tout le monde fait de son mieu [... lire plus]x pour répondre à vos besoins dans ce complexe ! N'oubliez pas de donner un pourboire aux employés : ils font un excellent travail pour répondre à vos besoins, et sans conditionner le service à un pourboire, comme dans d'autres stations... Mais, de loin, grâce à Dayana, le service clientèle de l'hôtel a dépassé toutes nos attentes ! Elle a été extrêmement efficace, tout en étant absente, laissant des instructions claires à ses collègues concernant notre hébergement. Nous pensons qu'elle est un grand atout pour Sol Palmeras. Merci, Dayana, et merci à tous les employés de Sol Palmeras pour avoir fait de nos vacances un moment inoubliable. Le seul inconvénient était le niveau élevé de bruit dans le hall principal et dans le restaurant buffet. Je suis sûr que nous ne sommes pas les premiers à le signaler et je suis également certain que la direction fait quelque chose pour y remédier. Il est certain que l'année prochaine, nous reviendrons dans ce complexe ! Nous avons voyagé en couple, du 21 au 28 novembre 2014.

Such a Great Experience! On my 6th, and my wife's 3rd visit to Cuba in different resorts, an amazing holiday at Sol Palmeras. Great bungalow, great buffet La Panchita, with diverse food offers and exceptional table service (thank you Evian, Mabel, Yunislady and Rosita!). The lobby bar Cubitas, with tasty cocktails and entertaining bar waiters (thank you Rene, and all others I didn't get their names!). Great cleaning service, everyone is doing their best to accomodate your needs in this resort! Don't forget to tip workers there: they are doing a great job to accomodate your needs, and without conditioning the service pending a tip, like in some other resorts... But, from far - thanks to Dayana - the Customer Service of the resort was BEYOND the expectation! She was so extremely efficient, while being away, leaving clear instructions to her colleagues about our accomodation. In our opinion she is a great asset for Sol Palmeras. Thank you, Dayana, and also thanks everyone at Sol Palmeras, for making our holiday a great one. The only downside was the high level of noise in the main lobby, and in the buffet restaurant. I'm sure we are not the first one bringing that to the table, and I'm also confident that the management is doing something about it. For sure, next year, we will be back to this resort! Melia Las Dunas: Superbe station balnéaire

Lorsque je suis allée à Cuba auparavant, la nourriture n'était pas des meilleures. Mais cette fois-ci, la nourriture était incroyable ! C'était excellent dans tous les restaurants et aussi incroyable tout au long de la nuit, jusqu'aux petites heures du matin. Cependant, les divertissements auraient pu être meilleurs, mais c'était quand même divertissant !

Awesome resort When I have been to Cuba before, the food was not the greatest. However this time around the god was amazing! It was great in every restaurant and also amazing throughout the night I I the wee hours of the morning. However, the entertainment could have been better, however it was still entertaining!

Sol Palmeras: Toujours un grand moment

Pour la première fois dans ce centre de villégiature, la nourriture était correcte au buffet, mais il est recommandé de réserver dans l'un de leurs nombreux restaurants raffinés. (Le steak house et le mexicain étaient mes préférés !). Le personnel était formidable, comme dans la plupart des complexes hôteliers cubains ! Les chambres étaient très propres et ma copine et moi avons apprécié que la femme de chambre trouve chaque jour quelque chose de nouveau avec les serviettes. La seule chose dont  [... lire plus]je pourrais me plaindre, ce sont les lits. Mais dès le premier jour, des salutations aux adieux, le personnel a rendu notre voyage encore plus mémorable ! Nous avons rencontré de nouveaux amis formidables venus de partout et nous reviendrons dans un avenir très proche ! A bientôt les gars !

Always a Great Time First time at this resort food was okay in buffet but definately recommend booking reservations at one of their many fine resturants. (Steak house and Mexican was my fave!). The staff were amazing like most Cuban resorts! The rooms were kept clean very clean and my girlfriend and myself enjoyed how the maid would come up with something new every day with the towels. The only thing I could possibly complain about was the beds. But right from day one the greetings to the goodbyes the staff made our trip that much more memorable! Met some great new friends from all over and we will be returning again in the very near future! See you guys soon!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Excellentes vacances relaxantes au Paradisus Rio de Oro

C'est notre deuxième visite dans ce complexe hôtelier de Guardalavaca, à Cuba. Il s'agit d'un établissement calme, bien géré et propre, qui se situe dans la catégorie des 4,5 à 5 étoiles pour Cuba. La nourriture est excellente et le personnel est si sympathique que nous avons l'impression d'être dans notre deuxième maison à Cuba.

Great relaxing vacation at Paradisus Rio de Oro This is our second visit to this resort in Guardalavaca, Cuba. It is a quiet, well run, clean resort in the 4.5 to 5 star range for Cuba. The food is excellent and the staff are so friendly it feels like our second home in Cuba.

Melia Las Dunas: Un lieu de séjour formidable !

Excellent service de la part d'un personnel très amical dans tous les domaines de l'hôtel. Les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons, et le grill sur la plage au déjeuner était toujours un excellent endroit pour manger avec des calamars, du homard, du poulet et du porc frais tous les jours !

Woderful Place to Stay! Excellent Service from very friendly staff in all areas of the resort. The al a Carte restaurants were very good, and the Grill on the beach at Lunch was always a great place to eat with fresh Calamari, Lobster, Chicken and Pork everyday!

Memories Cayo Largo: C'est bien d'y être allé deux fois !

Après avoir visité Cuba sept fois, c'est la première fois que nous nous rendons deux fois au même endroit. Beaucoup des autres endroits où nous sommes allés étaient formidables, mais pour nous, c'est l'endroit parfait, surtout en raison de ce qu'ils n'ont pas. Il s'agit d'un petit centre de villégiature très discret et tranquille. Il y a des activités, mais pas beaucoup par rapport à d'autres stations. Nous nous rendons dans ce lieu pour nous détendre en toute tranquillité. Moins d'activités sig [... lire plus]nifie moins de musique assourdissante à supporter (il y a bien un peu de cette musique ennuyeuse mais il est facile de s'en échapper). Cela ne nous dérange pas non plus qu'il n'y ait que deux restaurants à la carte - nous n'allons pas à Cuba pour la nourriture et personne ne devrait vraiment le faire, c'est une pause par rapport à nos excès habituels à la maison ! Nous aimons la plage que l'on peut parcourir pendant des heures dans les deux sens, l'eau qui est toujours magnifique, bien que l'eau du resort soit parfois trop agitée pour moi, mais il y a d'autres belles plages calmes qui sont faciles d'accès par une longue marche ou une navette. Apportez des chaussures d'eau si vous voulez marcher très loin, car il y a quelques sections rocheuses très brèves. Nous apprécions le fait que la plupart des musiques diffusées dans l'hôtel sont cubaines et que les musiciens et danseurs de l'hôtel sont souvent très bons. Nous allons rarement aux spectacles, mais les deux que nous avons vus étaient amusants, ils impliquent beaucoup les clients, ce qui est très divertissant. Nous adorons le personnel qui est si amical, vous ne pouvez pas passer à côté de l'un d'entre eux sans recevoir un sourire et un bonjour, demandant souvent si tout va bien. Une mention spéciale à Nathalie qui fait un travail remarquable avec un grand sourire tout le temps. Lors de notre deuxième visite, nous nous sommes sentis très bien accueillis, avec un comptoir d'enregistrement spécial et un dîner spécial au bord de la piscine. Encore une fois, la nourriture est typique des complexes cubains : trop cuite, principalement des fruits et légumes en conserve, mais plus qu'assez pour vous garder rassasié et heureux. Préparez-vous à un régime riche en protéines et pauvre en fibres, mais qui ne dure qu'une semaine ! Nous avons été heureux de constater que le complexe investit dans des améliorations autour de la propriété, avec la construction de nouvelles allées, etc. Les chambres sont propres et bien rangées. Je vous recommande de prendre un gobelet isotherme pour vos boissons et votre café - ils utilisent de très petits gobelets en plastique pour les boissons, ce qui est terrible pour l'environnement - comme vous le verrez, malheureusement, sur les plages plus éloignées, il y a tellement de plastique rejeté sur le rivage, essayons tous de ne pas contribuer à cela. L'hôtel s'efforce clairement d'être respectueux de l'environnement, notamment en fournissant un refuge pour les tortues afin de protéger leurs œufs. Nous avons eu la chance d'être à proximité au moment de l'éclosion des œufs de tortues et nous les avons aidés dans leur voyage vers l'eau. Nous avons également vu des pélicans, des cigognes et des aigles. C'est un endroit idéal pour les photographes de nature. Ils apprécieront également le fait que le complexe soit situé de manière à ce que vous puissiez admirer le lever et le coucher du soleil. Je n'ai vraiment rien de négatif à dire sur ce complexe, mais pour d'autres, il pourrait être trop calme !

So nice went twice! After visiting Cuba seven times, this is the first time we have gone to the same place twice. Many of the other places we've been were great but for us this is the perfect place, very much because of what they don't have. This is a very low-key, quiet and small resort. They do have activities but compared to other resorts not a lot. We go to this spot for quiet relaxation. Fewer activities mean less pounding music to put up with (they do have some of this annoying music but it is easy to escape) We also don't mind that they have only two a la carte restaurants - we don't go to Cuba for the food and no one should really, it is a break from our usual over-indulgence at home! We love the beach that you can walk for ages in either direction, the water which is always gorgeous, although the water right at the resort it sometimes too rough for me but there are other beautiful calm beaches that are easy to get to by a long walk or a shuttle. Bring water shoes if you want to walk really far, there are some very brief rocky sections. We love that most of the music playing around the resort is Cuban and often in-house musicians and dancers who are very good. The shows we rarely go to but the two we saw were fun, they involve the guests very much which is quite entertaining. We love the staff who are so friendly, you can't walk by one without getting a smile and a hello often asking if everything is ok. Special recognition to Nathalie who does an outstanding job with a big smile all the time. We were made to feel very welcome on our second visit, with a special check in desk, and a special dinner by the pool. Again the food is typical Cuban resort: overcooked, mostly canned fruit & veg but more than enough to keep you full and happy. Prepare for a high protein /low fiber diet, fine for one week! We were pleased to see the resort is investing in improvements around the property with some new walkways being built etc - the property is very clean and tidy at all times. The rooms are clean and tidy I recommend you take an insulated to-go cup for your drink and coffee - they use very small plastic cups for drinks which are terrible for the environment - as you will see, sadly, on the farther afield beaches, there is so much plastic washed ashore, let's each try not to contribute to that. The resort is clearly trying to be environmentally responsible, including providing a turtle refuge to make sure their eggs are protected. We were so fortunate to happen to be nearby when some turtle eggs were hatching and helped them on their journey to the water. We also saw pelicans, storks, eagles. It is a great spot for nature photographers. They will also appreciate that the resort is situated so that you get both sunrise & sunset viewing I really don’t have anything negative to say about this resort but for others it may be too quiet!

Paradisus Varadero: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

dans l'ensemble, l'expérience a été excellente, le personnel très sympathique, le hêtre superbe, la piscine agréable, la nourriture bonne. Le seul point négatif est le lit dans nos chambres, beaucoup trop dur et vous pouviez sentir les ressorts dans votre dos. Très satisfait

Amazing resort overall had a great experience, very friendly staff, great beech, pool was nice, food was good.oy negative is the bed in our rooms. Way to hard and you could feel the springs in your back. Very satisfied

Sol Varadero Beach: Superbe plage ; personnes chaleureuses !

Nous avons séjourné du côté du Sirenas qui n'a pas encore été rénové (le Coral l'a été récemment). L'hôtel était très bien, mais n'y allez pas si vous aimez danser dans une discothèque locale. Les plages sont magnifiques, bien éclairées la nuit et bien entretenues. Le personnel d'animation est chaleureux, mais pas aussi amical que dans certains centres de villégiature. La nourriture s'est améliorée à Cuba et je n'y vais pas pour les restaurants 5 étoiles. J'ai aimé l'hôtel, mais ce n'est pas mon [... lire plus] préféré à Cuba. Les chambres étaient cependant propres et, à l'exception de quelques petits problèmes, bien entretenues. Pour le prix, j'y retournerais.

Great Beach; Warm people! We stayed on the Sirenas side which is still to be renovated (Coral was recently upgraded). The hotel was great; but don't go if you like to dance at a local disco. Beaches are beautiful; well lit at night, and well maintained. The animation staff is warm; but not as friendly as some resorts. The food has gotten better in Cuba; and i don't go there for the 5 star restaurants. I liked the hotel, but it isn't my favorite in Cuba. Rooms however were clean, and with the exception of a few small issues well maintained. For the price I'd go again.

Melia Cayo Coco: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

La meilleure chose à propos de ce centre de villégiature était les gens. Ils étaient tellement amicaux et sympathiques et c'est la principale raison pour laquelle nous reviendrons. Avec leur humour, ils ont fait de ce complexe un endroit amusant. Vous pouviez participer aux nombreuses activités ou vous asseoir au bord de la piscine et regarder... les deux étaient amusants. La nourriture était excellente et il y avait beaucoup de choix au buffet. Nous avons également essayé les trois restaurants [... lire plus] "à la carte" et la nourriture était vraiment bonne. Je ne manquerais aucun de ces restaurants si nous y retournions. Mon restaurant préféré était le restaurant italien, car la nourriture était la meilleure de la station, à mon avis, et le serveur amusant nous a fait rire toute la soirée. Les chambres étaient très propres, le lit était confortable, il y avait beaucoup d'eau chaude pour les douches et l'air conditionné fonctionnait très bien. Nous n'avons rien à redire sur les chambres. Nous avons pris nos prises universelles et nos téléphones portables et iPads se sont bien chargés. Le sèche-cheveux dans la chambre fonctionnait bien. Nous aurions seulement souhaité qu'un lisseur à cheveux fonctionne ici... il faudra peut-être acheter un lisseur européen. L'espace piscine et la piscine étaient bien entretenus. Les toilettes de la piscine étaient extrêmement propres et une personne était présente à tout moment pour les nettoyer. Ce fut un plaisir de donner un pourboire à cette personne qui, j'en suis sûr, n'en reçoit pas beaucoup :) En parlant de pourboires, une pièce de monnaie par-ci par-là est très appréciée. Et les personnes à qui vous donnez un pourboire se souviendront toujours de vous. Nous n'avons été inondés de moustiques qu'un seul jour. C'était un jour où il n'y avait pas de brise et où il pleuvait beaucoup, ce qui peut expliquer une partie de la situation. Une fois qu'ils ont pulvérisé :( c'était mieux. Le bar du hall était l'endroit à fréquenter lorsqu'il pleuvait car il y avait des jeux à faire si vous le souhaitiez, ou vous pouviez vous asseoir et boire en profitant de la compagnie des autres. Nous avons également apprécié la variété des spectacles organisés au bar du hall chaque soir jusqu'à ce que le spectacle nocturne commence. Nous reviendrons certainement dans ce complexe et nous le recommandons vivement. Et il est si proche de l'aéroport... bonus ! Le personnel de Westjet Vacations nous a très bien traités et s'est assuré que nous allions et revenions du centre de villégiature.

Amazing Resort The best thing about this resort was the people. They were so friendly and personable and is the main reason why we would return. With their humour they made the resort a fun place to be. You could join in with the many activities or sit by the pool and watch... both were fun. The food was excellent with lots to choose from at the buffet. We also tried all 3 'a la cart' restaurants and the food was really good. I wouldn't miss any of these when we go there again. My favorite was the Italian Restaurant as the food was the best on the resort, in my opinion, and the fun waiter made us laugh all evening. Rooms were very clean, bed was comfortable, lots of hot water for showers, and the air conditioning worked very well. No complaints at all regarding the rooms. We took our universal plugins and our cell phones and iPads charged well. The blow dryer in the room worked well. Only wished a hair straightener could work there... will have to buy a European one maybe. The pool area and the pool were well maintained. Washrooms off the pool area were kept extremely clean with an attendance present at all times cleaning continuously. It was a pleasure to tip this person who, I'm sure, doesn't get many tips. :) Speaking of tips, a coin here and there is much appreciated. And those you tip will always remember you. Only one day were we inundated with mosquitos. It was a day of no breeze and lots of rain so that may account for some of it. Once they sprayed :( it was better. The lobby bar was the place to be when it rained as they had games to play if you wanted, or you could sit and drink and enjoy the company of others. We also enjoyed the variety of live entertainment in the lobby bar each evening until the nightly show began. We will definitely return to this resort and would highly recommend it. And it's so close to the airport... bonus! The Westjet Vacations people treated us very well and made sure we got to and from the resort.

Paradisus Cancun: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !!!

Magnifique hôtel avec la meilleure plage que Cancun puisse offrir ! Le personnel et les services étaient excellents ! Les restaurants étaient impeccables et le service d'étage 24 heures sur 24 était un gros plus ! De l'arrivée au départ, on se sentait vraiment pris en charge ! Des vacances formidables !

Amazing resort!!! Beautiful hotel with the best beach cancun has to offer! Staff and services were excellent! Restaurants were impeccable, and 24 hour room service was a big plus! From check in to check out you truly felt well taken care of! A great holiday!

Paradisus Varadero: vaut son pesant d'or

nous avons choisi d'utiliser le "Royal Service". La première surprise étonnante a été à l'aéroport de Veradero où nous avons eu notre propre taxi jusqu'au resort plutôt que de partager le bus. le room service à la chambre était génial. Le bar, la piscine et le restaurant à la carte étaient tous formidables. Ils étaient réservés aux clients du service royal. Comme nous y sommes allés début décembre, ils n'étaient pas pleins et il n'y avait pas d'attente pour quoi que ce soit. La chambre était gra [... lire plus]nde. Un lit king size sur demande. Une douche extérieure était exotique et romantique. Une grande baignoire Jacuzzi était la bienvenue. Autour de la piscine, il y avait des "lits" avec des auvents. Pas assez, mais ils étaient formidables quand on en avait un. Le seul bémol est que la plage de la zone de service royal était entièrement en roche, mais la plage principale était en sable blanc. J'ai été un peu déçue par la plage. Je ne m'attendais pas à autant de rochers, mais beaucoup de sable blanc. La nourriture était correcte. Le bœuf n'était pas bon, mais il y avait beaucoup de poulet, de fruits de mer et d'options végétariennes. Le restaurant mexicain à la carte était le meilleur. C'était un séjour reposant et tranquille de 5 jours. Personne ne demandait de l'argent sur la plage. Ce n'était pas du tout commercial. Le personnel était très amical. Il voulait que tout soit parfait et s'assurait souvent que vous étiez heureux. J'y retournerais dans la seconde !

worth every penny we chose to use the "Royal Service". the first amazing surprise was at the Veradero airport we got our own taxi to the resort rather than sharing the bus. room service to the room was great. Hang the tag on the door and they deliver breakfast at a time you chose. the bar and the pool and the a la cart restaurant were all great. they were for royal service guests only. since we went in early December they were not at capacity and there was no waiting for anything. the room was big. king size bed on request. an outdoor shower was exotic and romantic. large Jacuzzi tub was welcome. around the pool were "beds" with canopies. not enough but they were great when you got one. hammocks hanging in the trees. A lovely long walkway to the ocean directly from the pool. maybe a 1 minute walk to the ocean. the only let down was the beach in the royal service area was all rock. but the main beach was white sand. I was a little disappointed in the beach. I wasn't expecting so many rocks. lots of white white sand though. food was okay. the beef was not good. but lots of chicken, seafood and vegetarian options. the Mexican a la carte restaurant was the best. it was a restful quiet 5 days away. no one asking for money on the beach. not commercialized at all. great friendly staff. they wanted everything to be perfect and they checked often to make sure you were happy. I would go back in a second!!

Paradisus Rio De Oro: Un beau complexe, mais ...

Les chambres étaient propres et agréables et la nourriture était vraiment, vraiment bonne. Bon choix de boissons également. La plage était assez longue pour faire une bonne promenade, mais près de l'hôtel, il était difficile de s'éloigner suffisamment pour nager, car il y avait beaucoup de rochers, de coraux, etc. L'hôtel lui-même est magnifique et offre une vue imprenable. La vie nocturne n'est pas très animée. Les spectacles de danse habituels et les animations de début de soirée dans le hall [... lire plus]. Cependant, la discothèque sentait sérieusement la moisissure et il était donc impossible de l'utiliser - j'y ai rarement vu quelqu'un. Il faut vraiment qu'ils ajoutent plus de musique dansante le soir, autre que cubaine, et peut-être du karaoké ou quelque chose comme ça, car après 22h, il faut se débrouiller tout seul pour se divertir. Le spa était très bien, mais les massages étaient trop chers pour Cuba, étant donné que le CUC est au même niveau que le dollar américain. Le spa n'était jamais occupé et c'est probablement pour cette raison. J'ai eu un massage et c'était super. La plage privée du spa est également très bien. L'eau de la douche est dure et contient beaucoup de produits chimiques, ce qui est très agressif pour les cheveux, donc si vous avez des cheveux colorés, faites attention. De plus, l'Internet est sporadique au mieux, seulement disponible dans le hall et cher (c'est peut-être différent dans les suites royales) Le personnel était formidable et très arrangeant. Si j'y retournais, je séjournerais dans les suites royales.

Nice resort but ... The rooms were clean and nice and the food was really, really good. Nice array of drinks as well. Beach was long enough to have a good walk but near the hotel it was hard to get out far enough to swim as lots of rocks, coral, etc. further along the beach swimming was much better. The resort itself is beautiful with stunning views. Night life so so. Usual dance shows and early entertainment in the lobby. However, disco seriously smelled of mould and so using it was impossible - rarely did I see anyone in there. They really need to add more dancing music at night, other than Cuban and perhaps karaoke or something as you pretty well have to make your own entertainment after 10 pm. The spa was great but massages too expensive for Cuba given that the CUC is on par with American dollars. The spa was never busy and that's probably why. I had an massage and it was great. The private beach at the spa is great as well. Then water for showering is hard and has a lot of Chemicals in it and very hard on the hair so if you have colour in your hair beware. Also, Internet sporadic at best, only available in the lobby and expensive (this may be different at the Royal suites) Staff were great and very accommodating. If I went again I'd stay in the royal suites end.

Hotel Vigia: Une perle secrète géniale

Ambiance totalement décontractée et très conviviale. Le nouveau chef apporte des changements créatifs impressionnants à la carte. Meilleur personnel jamais vu ! S'il vous plaît, dépêchez-vous d'ouvrir le bar de la plage. Le chef Juri est le meilleur. Il est incroyablement sympathique et créatif dans ses créations. Il devrait avoir sa propre station de cuisine. Faites-le revenir pour qu'il s'occupe du barbecue de la plage ou de son propre restaurant alacatre. Je reviendrai certainement encore et  [... lire plus]encore. C'est de mieux en mieux

Awesome Secret Gem Totally relaxed, very friendly atmosphere. The new chef is making awesome creative changes to the menu. Best staff ever!. Please hurry and get the beach bar open. Chef Juri is the best. So incredibly personable and creative with his creations. He should have his own featured cooking station. Bring him back to operate the beach barbecue or his own alacatre restaurant. Will definitely return again and again. It just keeps getting better

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Il devrait avoir 3 ou 4 étoiles au maximum

Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées, si bien que si quelqu'un passe devant votre porte en parlant, vous pouvez tout entendre. Les salles de bains publiques sont généralement sales et délabrées. Elles ont vraiment besoin d'être rénovées. Le service était excellent et très amical ! La nourriture était excellente avec beaucoup de choix différents. Le restaurant japonais était notre préféré !

Should be 3 or 4 stars at the most Rooms are not sound proof so if someone walks by your door talking you can hear everything. Public bathrooms were usually dirty and run down. They definitely need an upgrade. The service was great and very friendly! The food was excellent with lots of different choices. The Japanese restaurant was our favorite!

Melia Las Dunas: Satisfaisant.....nécessite un lifting

J'ai trouvé le complexe trop grand à mon goût. Les salles de bains ont grand besoin d'être rénovées. La piscine pour adultes était très agréable. La nourriture était bonne pour les standards cubains. Le personnel était pour la plupart très amical et arrangeant. J'ai trouvé qu'il fallait "demander" des choses, surtout aux cartes ..... Il fallait demander du guacamole, de la margarita, du saké, il fallait demander ...... Ces choses devraient être offertes.

Satisfactory.....needs a facelift I found the resort too large for my liking. The bathrooms are in major need of updating. The adult pool was very nice. The food was good for Cuba standards. The staff for the most part were very friendly and accommodating. I found you had to "ask' for items especially at the A la cartes....had to ask for guacamole, had to ask for margarita, had to ask for sake, had to ask.....these things should be offered.

Tryp Cayo Coco: Très bon rapport qualité/prix

Le personnel fait partie intégrante de l'établissement. Il est très sympathique. Le Tryp est convivial et intime. Bonne cuisine. Propre Un endroit animé, mais si l'on préfère, il y a une piscine et des chambres calmes, loin des activités. J'ai parlé à de nombreux clients qui reviennent et je comprends pourquoi.

Great Value The staff make the resort. Very personable. The Tryp has a friendly, intimate feel. Good food. Clean A lively place but if one prefers there is a quiet pool and quiet rooms away from the activities. I spoke to many return guests, and I can see why.

Melia Las Dunas: Belle station balnéaire

Le complexe est magnifique. Le terrain était magnifiquement aménagé et des jardiniers étaient présents tous les jours. Les chambres étaient très spacieuses et propres. Le personnel était très aimable et serviable. La piscine et la plage étaient magnifiques. Je qualifierais la nourriture de médiocre. La nourriture n'était pas chaude et n'était parfois pas assez bien cuite. Dans l'ensemble, je recommanderais ce complexe à quelqu'un qui veut s'éloigner de tout et se détendre sur une plage et qui n' [... lire plus]est pas vraiment intéressé par la nourriture.

Beautiful resort The resort was beautiful. The grounds were landscaped beautifully with gardeners out everyday. The rooms were very spacious and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The pool and the beach were amazing. The food I would rate as poor. The food was not hot and was sometimes not cooked well enough. Overall I would recommend this resort to someone who wants to get away from it all and to relax on a beach and who is not really interested in eating that much.

Nous savions, d'après les commentaires précédents, que l'hôtel avait besoin de rénovations, qui sont actuellement en cours. Je n'ai donc pas eu de surprises ou d'attentes de grandeur, en particulier dans les chambres. Je me suis donc beaucoup amusé. La plage est magnifique, surtout lorsque la marée descend. Vous gagnez environ 30 pieds de largeur sur la plage. Le swim up bar est amusant et l'eau de la piscine est chaude. La nourriture est en fait très bonne pour Cuba et toujours abondante. Le personnel est toujours agréable et vous n'avez pas l'impression qu'il attend un pourboire pour vous offrir un bon service. N'oubliez pas d'apporter de l'argent au bar de la piscine. Les pauvres travaillent dur et les gens ne semblent jamais penser à prendre quelques pesos avec eux. La journée est très active, les gens boivent et s'amusent. La soirée de la première semaine a été un peu décevante car il ne se passait pas grand-chose. La deuxième semaine, une fête a été organisée à la piscine. Le vendredi soir, un garçon vient chanter et jouer de la guitare et c'est très amusant de chanter et de danser. Mais ils ont besoin de plus d'activités de ce genre. On dirait qu'ils comptent sur le spectacle pour tous les divertissements du soir et ensuite sur la discothèque. Ce qui est vraiment pour les plus jeunes. Il y a des gens qui jouent des instruments de musique dans le hall le soir, ce qui est agréable. Les boissons sont bonnes, mais ils manquent parfois de verres pour préparer la bonne boisson, comme les cafés espagnols. Mais on s'en accommode et on le prend dans une plus petite tasse. J'y retournerais pour des vacances bon marché de dernière minute. Mon mari ne le ferait pas. Nous y sommes allés avec 10 personnes et la plupart ne reviendraient pas car on a laissé le sit se dégrader au fil des ans. On n'a pas fait assez pour l'entretenir. Mon fils a 26 ans et s'est ennuyé, pas assez d'activités, sauf si votre objectif principal est de boire. Je ne peux pas recommander ce complexe, mais en même temps j'y retournerais. Allez savoir...

Great location. Had fun. Do not overpay We new by previous reviews the resort was in need of renovations, which are currently being done. So I had no surprises or expectations of greatness, especially in the rooms. Therefore I enjoyed myself very much. The beach is wonderful especially when tide goes out. You gain about 30 feet of width of the beach. The swim up bar is fun and pool water is warm. Food is actually very good for Cuba and always plenty of it. The 24 hr bar and snacks are also great for late night nibbles. The staff are always pleasant and you don't feel like they are waiting for a tip to give good service. Don't forget to take some money to the swim up bar. Poor guys work hard and people never seem to think of taking a few pesos with them. The daytime is very active with people drinking and having fun. The evening of out first week was a little dissapointing as not much was goiing on. The second week they seemed to pump up the fun with a pool party. On Friday night a gUy comes and sings and plays guitar and it is lots of fun to sing and dance. But they need more of that. Seem to rely on the show for all the evening entertainment and then the disco. Which is really for the younger one. They have people playing musical instruments in lobby at night which is nice. The drinks are good, but they sometimes run out of glasses they need to make the right drink, like Spanish coffees. But you get over it and have it in a smaller cup. I would go back for a last minute cheap holiday. My husband would not. We went with 10 people and most would not return as sit has been allowed to get to run down over the years. Not enough was done to maintain it. My son is 26 and was bored, not enough activities, unless your main goal is to drink. I can't recommend this resort, but at the same time I would go back. Go figure...

Almost amazing! - need more 24hr restaurants - food was ok, always ask for well done or your food will be raw - tiny, minuscule ants in the washroom of our room - most of the staff was friendly and terrific (Yunel at the buffet, Lazara at the pizzeria, Roberto at the lobby bar, and most of the gardeners ant fantastic) - entertainment could be better - grounds are beautiful (clean and well kept) - need a power adapter (no one told us this before going) - far bus ride to the resort from the airport
