Hotel Villa Cuba: Bon centre de villégiature

L'hôtel était bien J'ai séjourné dans une villa qui était très belle et bien entretenue. Le ménage a fait du bon travail. Les lits étaient très confortables et épais et aucun problème avec l'air conditionné ou l'eau. La plage était très belle et proche de ma chambre et de l'hôtel. Le bar de la piscine proposait de bonnes boissons et le snack bar était mon préféré : des frites tous les jours lol. Les divertissements étaient très bons et j'avais toujours quelque chose à manger au buffet, c'es [... lire plus]t Cuba. J'ai rencontré d'autres Canadiens extraordinaires, Audet et Jan, ainsi que Dawn, qui a été très gentille de venir me parler, merci. J'ai hâte d'être au prochain voyage en avril et je remercie tout particulièrement mon agent de voyage pour toute son aide et pour avoir rendu les préparatifs de voyage simples et faciles.

Good resort Hotel was good I stayed in a villa which was very nice and well kept. Housekeeping did a good job. Beds were very comfy and thick and no issue with the air conditioning or water. The beach was very nice and close to my room and the hotel. The pool bar had good drinks and the snack bar he my favourite think French fries every day lol. The entertainment was very good and I always had something to eat at the buffet it is cuba. I meet other awesome Canadians Audet and Jan and Dawn who was a sweetheart for coming over to talk to me thanks. Can't wait for the next one in April and a special thanks to my travel agent for all her help and making the travel plans simple and easy thanks Martine Ried from trip central.

Starfish Jibacoa: Station balnéaire agréable, propre et conviviale !

Une fois de plus, nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Chambres super propres, plage incroyable et plongée en apnée juste là ! La nourriture s'est améliorée depuis notre dernière visite en avril 2017. Je recommanderais vivement ce complexe si vous recherchez des vacances tranquilles !

Lovely,clean, friendly resort! Once again we had a wonderful time! Super clean rooms, amazing beach and snorkelling right there! Food has improved since our last visit April 2017. I would highly recommend this resort if you are looking for a quiet holiday!

Palma Real: Un centre de villégiature vraiment extraordinaire

C'était très bien même si je n'ai pas pensé à demander l'info d'un ami parce que je me suis embrouillé pour une raison personnelle. Pour la prochaine fois, une chose est sûre : je ferai en sorte de profiter de ce genre de voyage par moi-même ! C'est sûr !

Really amazing resort It was very good eventhough i didn't think to get the info of a friend because i got confused by a personal thing. For next time one thing is sure : i will make sure to enjoy this kind of a lovely trip by myself! For sure!

Muthu Playa Varadero: Besoin d'un centre de maintenance

Le premier jour, le coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas (manque de piles), il n'y avait pas d'eau chaude, il y avait une fuite au plafond et un gros cafard noir dans la chambre. Tout cela pendant un séjour de 4 nuits.

Need Maintenance Resort All grounds, public area and rooms need maintenance work.The first day the safe did not work (lack of batteries), no hot water, we had a leak from the ceiling and had a big black cockroach in the room. All of this during a 4 nights stay.

Paradisus Varadero: Un service exceptionnel

Excellent rapport qualité-prix et haut de gamme à la fois. C'est la deuxième fois que j'y vais et j'y retournerai l'année prochaine Les installations sont propres et bien organisées. Le service de garde d'enfants est extraordinaire. 200 mots, c'est trop pour une critique d'hôtel.

Amazing service Great value and high end at the same time. Second time there and will be going back next year Amenities are clean and we'll organized. Child care service is amazing. 200 words is too much for any hotel review.

Grand Memories Varadero: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Très beau complexe avec un excellent service, un personnel sympathique et des chambres très bien entretenues. snack bar et café ouverts 24 heures sur 24, et le bar est absolument fantastique. Beaucoup d'amusement pour les enfants avec le club pour enfants, le centre de jeux virtuels et bien plus encore. J'ai vraiment apprécié mes vacances ici.

Amazing resort Really nice resort with great service, friendly staffs and a very well maintained rooms. 24 hour snack bar, cafe and the the bar is absolutely fantastic. Lots of fun for kids with kids club, virtual Game Center and much more. Absolutely enjoyed my vacation here.

Melia Las Antillas: Plage et terrain magnifiques

L'hôtel est vieux. Il faut prendre une chambre qui n'est pas au rez-de-chaussée. Beaucoup de fumeurs ici. Cigarettes partout. La nourriture était bonne et l'hôtel et le personnel sont hospitaliers et expérimentés, ce qui signifie qu'ils écoutent et sont utiles. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et une super semaine

Beautiful beach and grounds Hotel is older. Need to get a room that is off the ground floor. Many many smokers here. Cigarettes everywhere . Food was fine and the hotel and staff are hospitable and experienced which means they listen and are helpful . We had a great stay and super week

Starfish Cuatro Palmas: Superbe complexe hôtelier, très bien situé

Du bar Beatles aux marchés, tout était à 5 minutes à pied de l'hôtel. L'hôtel était bien, avec de belles chambres, une plage et une piscine de qualité (désolé, pas de bar). Le personnel était correct, mais on avait l'impression qu'il ne s'intéressait à vous que si vous donniez un pourboire pour chaque boisson commandée

Great resort amazing location From the Beatles bar to the markets everything was a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The hotel was good nice rooms and a dynamite beach and pool( sorry no swim up bar)the staff were ok but it seemed like they would only pay attention to you if you tipped for every drink order

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Ne restez pas ici

La chambre n'a jamais été nettoyée correctement. La baignoire était sale. Les serviettes n'étaient jamais changées. Le buffet était tiède ou froid en permanence. On ne nous a jamais proposé de restaurants à la carte. Les hamburgers étaient affreux. Pas d'en-cas ni rien à grignoter entre les repas. Pas de spectacle le soir sauf celui des enfants. Je n'envisagerais pas de revenir dans cet hôtel. Le hall de l'hôtel était inondé lorsqu'il pleuvait. Je donnerais une note de 1 étoile à cet hôte [... lire plus]l J'aime Cuba et je sais à quoi m'attendre, je suis déjà allé à Cuba. Je connais les hôtels cubains, je donnerais une note. C'est peut-être 1 1/2 par rapport à d'autres hôtels cubains

Don’t stay here Room was never properly cleaned. Bathtub was dirty. Towels were never changed. Buffet was lukewarm or cold all the time. Was never offered a la carte restaurants. Hamburgers were bloody awful. No snacks or anything to munch on between meals. No show in the evening except kids show. I wouldn’t consider this hotel again. Hotel lobby was flooding when it rained. I would rate this a 1 star I like Cuba and I know what to expect I have been to Cuba before. I know Cuban hotels, I would rate. It maybe1 1/2 compared to other Cuban Hotels

Roc Arenas Doradas: Grand centre de villégiature

C'était la deuxième fois que je venais dans ce complexe et j'ai encore été très satisfait. Le complexe n'est pas très grand et il est très propre. Il semble qu'ils ont mis une nouvelle couche de peinture sur la plupart des choses, de sorte qu'il a l'air agréable et rafraîchi. Mes amis et moi avons trouvé que la nourriture était bonne, tant au snack-bar qu'au buffet. Nous avons également mangé au restaurant italien et nous l'avons apprécié. Les autres restaurants étaient réservés, nous n'avons do [... lire plus]nc pas pu les essayer. La salle de sport dispose de quelques appareils de cardio et d'un appareil universel de traction et d'étirement. Elle était très propre et bien climatisée. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute et mes amis m'ont dit qu'ils reviendraient aussi.

Great resort This was my second time to this resort and I was pleased again. The resort is not too large and is very clean. It seemed like they had put a fresh paint of coat on most things so it looked nice and refreshed. My friends and I thought the food was good both at the snack bar and the buffet. We also ate at the Italian restaurant and we enjoyed that as well. The other restaurants were booked so we couldn’t try them. The gym has a few cardio machines and a universal pull up and dip machine. It was very clean and well air conditioned. I would definitely return and my friends said they would as well.

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Un centre de villégiature 2 1/2 à 3

Le plus décevant était les chambres : mauvais éclairage, mauvaise climatisation, cafetière mais pas de café ou de thé, réfrigérateur mais avec seulement 2/3 canettes de boissons, mauvais articles de toilette tels que pas d'oreillettes, bonnet de douche, etc., les articles de toilette ne seront pas remplacés sans demander, la télévision ne fonctionne pas, télécommande cassée, les serviettes doivent être sur le sol pour qu'elles soient remplacées, pas de bloc-notes ou de stylo, etc.

A 2 1/2 to 3* resort Most disappointing were the rooms: poor lighting, poor a/c, coffee maker but no coffee or tea, refrigerator but with only 2/3 cans of drinks, poor toiletries such as no ear buds, shower cap, etc., toiletries won’t be replaced without asking, tv does not work, broken remote, towels have to be on the floor for them to be replaced, no pad or pen, etc.

Gran Caribe Sun Beach: Bon centre de villégiature tout compris

La situation est bonne, le personnel est bon, la nourriture est moyenne, il y a trop d'attente pour l'ascenseur, le personnel de la réception est parfois très bon, d'autres sont un peu tatillons, les 3 bars sont bons, la discothèque au 12ème étage est un plus,, Comme Pena, Ruben et Cenia au restaurant

Starfish Varadero: escalade en montagne

l'hôtel n'était rien d'autre qu'une montée d'escaliers. Le groom savait même assez bien qu'il refusait de porter nos sacs. Le coffre-fort était verrouillé et personne ne savait comment l'ouvrir. Ils nous disaient de mettre la carte de la porte dans la fente du coffre-fort qui n'avait pas de fente pour carte, et j'en passe.

mountain climbing the hotel was nothing but climbing stairs. The bell hope even knew enuff to refuse to carry our bags. The safe was locked and now one new how to open it they kept telling us to put door car in slot of a safe that had no card slot I could go on and on.

Gran Caribe Sun Beach: On en a pour son argent

Nous étions là pour la plage et le soleil ; c'était génial ! L'hôtel était très vieux et délabré mais vivable... la nourriture était correcte (pas excellente mais nous avons survécu ; c'est Cuba)... les gens qui y travaillaient étaient pour la plupart formidables ! On en a pour son argent et nous n'avons pas payé beaucoup... J'ai aimé être à Varadero et proche de tout...

You get what you pay for We were there for the beach and the sun; that was awesome! The hotel was very old and run down but livable...the food was ok (not great but we survived; it's Cuba)...the people working there were mostly great! You get what you pay for and we didn't pay much...I liked being right in Varadero and close to everything...

Melia Marina Varadero: Très bonne station

Ce centre de villégiature est d'une beauté époustouflante. Les toilettes publiques sont propres et il y a toujours du papier hygiénique. Les espaces publics sont également très propres. Malheureusement, le service est aléatoire. La plupart du temps, il est très bon. Le buffet n'est pas souhaitable. Le petit déjeuner est le meilleur. Le grill à la plage est également très bon ; prenez le poulet. Les piscines sont fantastiques, tout comme la plage.

Very good resort This is an amazingly beautiful resort. Public washrooms are clean and always have toilet paper. Public areas also all very clean. Unfortunately the service is hit and miss. Although for the most part it is very good. The buffet is not desirable. Breakfast is the best. The grill at the beach is also very good; hint get the chicken. Pools are fantastic and so is the beach.

Melia Varadero: Grand centre de villégiature

Nous avons adoré l'aspect compact de ce complexe, car tout était à proximité (restaurants, bars, piscines, etc.). Ce complexe est très propre, même les salles de bains extérieures. La nourriture était abondante et bonne, sans problème. Le seul problème est qu'il y a un bar sur la plage mais pas de salle de bain sur la plage, donc à chaque fois que vous avez besoin d'y aller, vous devez marcher jusqu'à la zone de la piscine. Je recommande vivement ce complexe.

Great Resort We loved the compact feel of this resort as everything was close by (restaurants, bars, pools etc). This resort is very clean, even the outdoor bathrooms. The food was plentiful and good, no issues. The one issue is that there is a beach bar but no bathroom on the beach so every time you needed to go, you had to walk all the way back to the pool area. I highly recommend this resort.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Grande plage

Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel était propre et la nourriture était moyenne. Les chambres étaient un peu démodées. Le personnel était sympathique et serviable en cas de besoin. La marche vers la plage était un peu à l'écart et il n'y avait pas de chambres en bord de mer. L'hôtel était encore en cours de rénovation suite à l'ouragan.

Great Beach Overall the resort was clean and the food was average. The rooms where a bit outdated. The staff was friendly, and helpful when something was needed.Walk to the beach was a bit out of the way and there where no ocean front rooms. The resort was still under some reno's from the hurricane.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: Excellent moment !

Le personnel était amical et très attentif. Le terrain était bien entretenu et la propreté était excellente ! La nourriture était bonne, pas incroyable, il serait bien de voir des bouteilles d'eau utilisées à tout moment, je n'ai pas remarqué qu'elles étaient utilisées au buffet car ils remplissaient des pichets avec l'eau de la machine à soda. La plage serait un peu petite pour le resort à pleine capacité. J'y retournerais certainement.

Excellent Time! The staff were friendly and very attentive. Grounds were well kept, and cleanliness was excellent! Food was good not amazing, it would be nice to see bottled water being used at all times, I didn't notice it in use at the buffet as they were filling jugs from the water in the soda machine. Beach would be a little small for the resort at full capacity. I would definitely go back again.

Iberostar Origin Bella Vista Varadero: J'ai adoré !

J'ai été très impressionné par cet hôtel. Le foyer de l'hôtel est très ouvert et dispose d'un mobilier très confortable et propre. La restauration est excellente, avec un buffet principal, trois restaurants à thème et un snack-bar ouvert 24 heures sur 24. Les bars sont bien situés et bien approvisionnés. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très aimable. Les chambres étaient très confortables et élégantes.

Loved it! I was very impressed with this hotel. The hotel foyer was very open and had very comfortable and clean furniture. The grounds were well kept, and the beach is very close to the hotel The dining was excellent, with a main buffet area, three themed restaurants, and a 24 hour snack bar. The bars are well situated and well stocked. All hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms were very comfortable and stylish.

Palma Real: un lieu de villégiature acceptable si vous n'avez pas d'attentes...

Pour nous, ce serait tout à fait acceptable s'il n'y avait pas une grosse, énorme nuisance : la "musique" .... à partir de 22h30 ... bum, bum.... vibrant à travers l'intérieur, jusqu'à environ 3h30 du matin. ..... plus la même "musique" mise dans leurs chambres..... pas relaxant. Je n'ai pas pu dormir pendant des heures chaque nuit à cause de ces vibrations. La deuxième grande gêne est que la belle plage est pleine d'ordures ! les touristes jettent tout le plastique partout.... incroyable.  [... lire plus] Bien sûr, il y a un manque de poubelles aussi.... en a parlé à certains mais il n'y a pas d'intérêt. Beaucoup de gens s'y rendent pour les vacances et la détente, mais il va bien falloir s'y mettre un jour ou l'autre. Plus jamais je ne volerai avec TRANSAT !!! vol direct de Vancouver.... au-dessus d'Edmonton... chassé dans un couloir... pas de toilettes... changer de pl.... s'asseoir dans l'avion prêt à décollerfr et attendre encore une heure parce que la nourriture n'est pas à bord.... pas une bouchée sur le vol... juste vendre.... Au départ de Varadero... tous à bord à l'heure.... attendre 45 minutes pour réparer l'ordinateur qui contrôle les films de merde à bord... c'est quoi ce service ? Arno

accepable resort if you have no expectations... For us it would be quite acceptable were it not for one big , huge nuisance: the "music".... starting at 10:30 p.m. ... bum, bum.... vibrating through the interior , until about 3:30 a.m. ..... plus the same "music" put on in their rooms..... not relaxing. Could not sleep for hours every night because of these vibrations. The second big annoyance is that the beautiful beach is full of garbage! tourists just throw all the ploastic all over.... unbelievable. Of course there is a lack of garbage containers as well.... talked to some but there is no interest. Many people go there for holidays and relaxation, but it is going to be sometime. Never again am I flying with TRANSAT!!! direct flight from Vancouver.... over Edmonton... chased into a corridor... no washrooms... change ple.... sit in the plane ready for take-offfr and wait another hour because the food is not on board.... not one bite on the flight... just selling.. On the departure in Varadero... all on board on time.... wait 45 Minutes to fix the computer controlling the shitty movies on board... what service is this? Arno
