Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Excellent service

Séjour d'une semaine à Noël. Le terrain est méticuleusement entretenu, mais il est grand et sinueux, c'est le moins que l'on puisse dire. Le complexe est magnifique et le service est excellent. La nourriture était abondante et de bonne qualité. Quelques insectes la nuit, mais rien qu'un peu d'insecticide ne puisse faire disparaître. La plage était pratiquement inutilisable à cause des algues, mais je pense que c'est simplement dû à la période de l'année. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon endroit où  [... lire plus]aller.

Excellent Service Stayed for a week over Christmas. The grounds are meticulously kept but are large and meandering to say the least. The resort is beautiful and the service was excellent. Food was plentiful and good quality. A few bugs at night but nothing a little bug spray can't handle. Beach was pretty well unusable because of seaweed but I think that is just due to the time of year. All in all a good place to go.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Calme

Le terrain est magnifique, très bien entretenu. Si vous séjournez dans ce complexe, vous pouvez utiliser les équipements des autres complexes. Si vous êtes là pour faire la fête, cet endroit n'est pas fait pour vous. Très calme, il ne se passe pas grand-chose, mais là encore, vous pouvez vous rendre dans les autres hôtels. Quiet The grounds are amazing, very well taken of. If you stay at this resort you can use the amenities at the other resorts. If you are there to party, this place is not for you. Very quiet, not much happening but again you can visit the other hotels. The food was the best I've had at an all inclusive. Amazing. I didn't do the al la cartes as I found everything at the buffet. We stayed at in 27 block, not near anything, bit of a hike but we didn't mind. I'd recommend this resort for honeymooners and older couples

Bel hôtel, très bon service,,,, et oui la nourriture était excellente. Notre voyage en famille avec 2 enfants (10&7 ans). Beaucoup d'activités sur le resort pour tous les âges. Seul reproche à mère nature, beaucoup d'algues dans l'océan et sur la plage, le personnel a fait un bon travail de nettoyage tous les jours, c'est juste la période de l'année.

Great vacation!! Nice hotel,great service,,,,and yes the food was excellent. Our family trip with 2 kids (10&7 yrs old). Plenty of activities on the resort for all ages. Only complaint was for mother nature,a lot of sea weed in the ocean and on the beach.the staff did a good job of cleaning every day,just the time of year.

Cet hôtel était fabuleux. La plage était parfaite pour les enfants et les amateurs de plongée avec tuba - claire, calme et grande. Le personnel était très attentif et arrangeant, plus que dans n'importe quel autre hôtel où j'ai été. La nourriture était excellente. Le seul point négatif est que la chambre sentait un peu le renfermé, MAIS ils avaient une solution et sont venus avec de l'"aromathérapie" pour la rafraîchir. Je reviendrai sans aucun doute

This hotel was fabulous. The beach was perfect for children and snorkelers - clear, calm and large. The staff were the most attentive and accommodating, more than any other resort I've been to. The food was wonderful. The only negative is that the room was a bit musty, BUT they did have a solution and came around with "aromatherapy" to freshen it up. Would definitely visit again

J'ai emmené toute ma famille (10 personnes) pour les vacances de Noël. Les enfants ont apprécié la piscine propre et impeccable, la piscine de l'espace enfants et toutes les activités pour les enfants. Les adultes ont été impressionnés par le personnel de service, les chambres et les restaurants de spécialités.

I took my whole family (10 of us) for the Christmas Holidays. Everything about the resort was specatular, the kids enjoyed the spotless clean pool, the kids area pool and the all the kids activities. The adults were impressed with the service staff,the rooms and the specialty restaurants.No compaints.

Les divertissements s'adressent à tous les groupes d'âge. Ce complexe hôtelier offre un très bon rapport qualité-prix et je n'hésiterai pas à le recommander à mes amis.

Great Family Resort! The resort is impeccably maintained and the pools are large and child friendly. The water park is amazing. There is a good variety of dining options and the food is above average. The house red wine is very good quality. The entertainment is geared to all age groups. This resort is very good value and I would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.

Le domaine est magnifique et très bien entretenu. Les piscines étaient magnifiques, mais notre préférée était la plage... nous y avons passé chaque jour à nager et à nous prélasser à l'ombre. Le poulet à la grecque était fabuleux au grill de la plage. Excellent service dans tous les bars et restaurants. Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'immense terrasse/bar à l'avant du hall, mais nous aurions aimé qu'il y ait plus de musique pour danser. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. The pools were amazing but our favourite was the beach...we spent each day there swimming and lounging in the shade. The jerk chicken was fabulous at the beach grill. Excellent service in all bars and restaurants. Really liked the huge deck area/bar on the front of the lobby but we would have liked to have more music for dancing there. The evening entertainment at the town square stage was good but the sound system could have been better. We really liked the steel band!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Grand centre de villégiature

C'était notre troisième visite au Grand Bahia Ambar. Des changements ont été apportés à l'établissement, ce qui peut s'avérer positif ou négatif. Des chambres ont été ajoutées, ce qui signifie qu'il y a plus de monde. La plage était très fréquentée. Nous avons trouvé qu'il y avait suffisamment de chaises la plupart des jours, mais comme toujours, il fallait se lever tôt pour obtenir ce que l'on voulait. Le service de boissons sur la plage était aléatoire et je pense que c'était dû à une pénurie  [... lire plus]de fournitures. Il y avait beaucoup d'algues qui s'échouaient sur le rivage tous les jours. Les travailleurs semblaient être constamment en train de les ratisser, de les mettre en sac et de les transporter, mais le lendemain matin, elles étaient de retour. Certains jours, l'eau en était même remplie. C'était l'affaire de mère nature et il faut espérer qu'elle sera plus clémente à l'avenir. Le service au restaurant de la piscine/plage pendant les trois ou quatre premiers jours de notre séjour était pratiquement inexistant. Je n'ai pas réussi à comprendre. Les employés ne semblaient pas s'en préoccuper. Ils ne vous servaient pas de café ou d'eau et ne mettaient parfois même pas les tables en place. Plus tard dans la semaine, cela a changé et tout le monde semblait heureux de servir. Je ne sais pas exactement quel était le problème, mais je pense que la direction essayait d'introduire des changements qui, manifestement, ne fonctionnaient pas pour eux. La nourriture était correcte mais pas ce que nous avions reçu lors de nos précédentes visites. Le hall d'entrée était très bien. Il y avait toujours beaucoup de monde assis pour discuter et boire un verre. Le service était généralement très bon. La nourriture du buffet principal était bonne mais pas excellente. Il n'y a plus de canapés ni de variété de protéines et de légumes comme les années précédentes. La nourriture semblait quelque peu limitée, assez basique et, pour nous, décevante. Je ne vais pas dans un complexe cinq étoiles réservé aux adultes pour manger des hot-dogs, des hamburgers et des frites, mais je suppose que c'est le cas de certaines personnes. J'ai également remarqué que le personnel ne gardait pas le buffet aussi propre que les années précédentes. Les pinces de service n'étaient pas changées régulièrement et paraissaient toujours sales et couvertes de nourriture. Les gens semblent aimer prendre les pinces à une extrémité du buffet, se servir au fur et à mesure, puis laisser les pinces sales couvertes de toutes sortes de choses "dans le plat" à la fin. Appelez-moi tatillon, mais je ne trouve pas cela attrayant. Les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons, avec une nourriture et un service excellents. Le seul problème que nous ayons rencontré est celui du restaurant japonais Maikaido, où nous avons eu droit à une soupe miso à température ambiante et à des tempuras froids. Je ne sais pas si c'est là que cela s'est produit, mais nous avons fini par avoir des problèmes de ventre (c'est la première fois que nous avons un problème dans cet établissement). Notre plat préféré à la carte était le Portifino, où la nourriture et le service étaient excellents à mon avis. Notre chambre était charmante, nous avions une suite d'angle qui était très grande et confortable. Les femmes de chambre l'ont magnifiquement décorée pour notre anniversaire avec des pétales de fleurs sur le lit, un cœur fait de serviettes et des ballons. C'est une belle touche. En fin de compte, nous allons probablement faire un nouvel essai et voir s'ils règlent leurs problèmes. Un service médiocre ne sera pas accepté et le manque de propreté autour de la zone de restauration est un non. Des problèmes de ventre une deuxième fois signifieront que nous ne nous rendrons plus au Grand Bahia Ambar. La propriété est magnifique.

Great Resort This was our third visit to the Grand Bahia Ambar. There have been changes to the property which may or may not work out for the best. Rooms have been added which means more people. The beach was very crowded. We found that there were sufficient chairs most days but as always you had to be down early to get what you wanted. Beverage service on the beach was hit and miss and I believe it was due to a shortage of supplies. There was a lot of seaweed washing up on shore every day. Workers seemed to constantly be raking, bagging, and carting it away but the next morning it was back. Some days even the water was full of it. This was up to mother nature and hopefully she will be kinder in the future. Service at the pool/beach restaurant the first three or four days of our stay was pretty much non existent. I couldn't quite figure it out. Employees didn't seem to care. They didn't serve you coffee or water or even set the tables some times. Later on in the week this changed and everybody seemed to be happy to serve. Not sure what the problem was but I think management was trying to institute some changes which obviously were not working for them. The food was okay but not what we had received on prior visits. Lobby area was great. There were always a lot of people sitting and enjoying conversation and drinks. Service on the most part was very good. Food in the main buffet was good but not great. They no longer have all the canapes or variety of protein and veggies available as they did in previous years. The food seemed to be somewhat limited, pretty basic and for us disappointing. I don't go to a five star adults only resort to eat hotdogs, hamburgers and French fries but I guess some people do. Also noticed that the staff were not keeping the buffet area as clean as they had in previous years. The serving tongs were not changed on a regular basis and always appeared dirty and covered with food. People seem to like to pick the serving tongs up at one end of the buffet, help themselves as they go along, then leave the dirty tongs covered with all sorts " in the dish" at the end. Call me fussy but I don't find this appealing. A la carte restaurants were very good with excellent food and service. The only problem we had was at the Japanese Restaurant Maikaido where we had room temperature miso soup and cold tempura. Not sure if this is where it happened but ended up with bad tummy problems (first time we've had a problem at this property). Favourite a la carte was Portifino where the food and service was above and beyond excellent in my opinion. Our room was lovely, we had a corner suite which was very big and comfortable. The maids decorated it beautifully for our anniversary with flower petals on the bed and a heart made out of towels, and balloons. Nice touch. Bottom line is we probably will give it one more try and see if they work out their problems. Poor service will not be accepted and certainly lack of cleanliness around the food area is a no no. Tummy problems a second time will mean no more visits to the Grand Bahia Ambar for us. The property is beautiful.

HAD A GREAT TIME ENJOYED GOLFING ETC. ENJOYED THE VARIOUS SELECTIONS OF FOOD. RELAXING TIME. GOOD VALUE.HAVE BEEN AT THE RESORT BEFORE AND WOULD PICK IT AGAIN. THE STAFF LOOKED AFTER OUR VARIOUS NEEDS. WE ENJOYED THE LOCATION AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS RESORT.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: SWF - troisième visite - j'adore cette station - je reviendrai

C'était ma troisième visite au Bahia Principe au Mexique et ma deuxième visite à Coba. J'adore ce complexe, il y a des tonnes de choses à faire sans quitter la propriété. La vie nocturne est l'une des meilleures que j'ai jamais vues et les spectacles sont extrêmement bons. Ne manquez pas l'Hacienda de 10h30 à 11h30 pour écouter de la musique en plein air et danser avec l'équipe de divertissement. Il y a des bars et des bars sportifs autour de l'Hacienda, ce qui fait qu'il y a beaucoup de garçons [... lire plus] et de filles. La discothèque s'ouvre après la musique en plein air et était pratiquement pleine tous les soirs, les gens venant des quatre endroits. Il vaut mieux faire une sieste car la vie nocturne est à ne pas manquer ! En particulier au Coba, il semble y avoir beaucoup de choses qui se passent dans le hall principal, de la musique live tous les soirs, qui se transforme en une fête de danse à l'extérieur certains soirs. Il y a également un bar en plein air. Les spectacles sont impressionnants, surtout pour un hôtel tout compris. Pour la journée, toutes les piscines sont très bien, mais je dirais que la piscine de la fête de Coba est très animée. Il y a beaucoup d'activités et l'équipe de divertissement fait un excellent travail pour maintenir l'ambiance. Je recommande également d'aller voir le complexe sportif, la salle de sport et de louer des vélos ! J'ai réservé le Coba cette fois encore avant de savoir que l'Akumal était devenu réservé aux adultes. Les clients de Coba ne sont pas autorisés à utiliser les installations d'Akumal, c'est pourquoi je réserverai peut-être à Akumal la prochaine fois. Cependant, j'ai utilisé Tulum pour la plage (magnifique mais bondée !) Ce complexe est un peu éloigné de l'aéroport, mais cela ne devrait pas vous décourager ! Tulum a aussi le meilleur buffet de midi ! Je dirais que Coba avait le meilleur petit déjeuner. Mais dans l'ensemble, la nourriture est bonne. Des tonnes d'options et vous n'aurez jamais faim. Les chambres sont parfaites, on ne peut rien demander de plus. J'adore les baignoires jacuzzi, les balcons magnifiques, les chambres très spacieuses et les lits très confortables. La décoration est celle d'une station balnéaire classique. Le personnel de l'hôtel est formidable. En particulier dans les salles à manger principales et les buffets (car c'est avec eux que j'ai eu le plus de contacts, mais en réalité, tous les membres du personnel ont été formidables). Ils étaient heureux de répondre à toutes mes demandes. Très sympathique et accessible, toujours de grands sourires, des blagues et des salutations. Je ne sais pas comment ils font avec autant de monde ! Les gars du chariot sont géniaux aussi ! Je suis vraiment ravie de cet endroit !

SWF - third visit - love this resort - will return This was my third visit to the Bahia Principe in Mexico and my second visit to Coba. Love this resort, tons of things to do without leaving the property. The nightlife is one of the best I've ever seen and the shows are extremely good. Don't miss the Hacienda from 10:30-11:30 for the live outdoor music and dancing with the entertainment crew. There are bars and sports bars surrounding it so lots of guy and girls. The disco opens up after the outdoor music and was pretty much packed every night as folks from all 4 spots come. You better take a nap as the nightlife is not to be missed! Specially at the Coba they seem to have a lot going on in the main lobby, live music every night, which turns into a dance party outside some evenings. They have an outdoor bar as well. The shows were just so impressive, especially for an all inclusive. For the daytime any of the pools are pretty good but I'd say the Coba party pool is pretty happening. Lots of activities going on, the entertainment crew does a great job of keeping it going. I'd also recommend checking out the sports complex, the gym, and renting some bikes! I booked Coba this time around again before knowing that the Akumal turned into adult only. Coba clients are not allowed to use the facilities on Akumal, so for that reason I may book at Akumal next time. However I used Tulum for the beach area (beautiful but packed!) This resort is a little far from the airport but I wouldn't let that deter you! Tulum also has the best lunch buffet! I'd say Coba had the better breakfast. Although in a whole the food is good. Tons of options and you'll never go hungry. The rooms are perfect, couldnt want anything more. Love the jacuzzi tubs, beautiful balconys, very roomy, and the beds are pretty comfortable. Decor is your classic resort look. The staff at this place is awesome. Especially those in the main dining rooms and buffet areas (as I dealt with these the most but really any staff member was amazing). Any request I had they were happy to accommodate. Very friendly and approachable, always big smiles, jokes, and greetings. I don't know how they keep it up with that many people! The cart guys are awesome too! Seriously just thrilled with this place!

L'hôtel est très bien, la chambre est propre, les gens de l'aéroport sont très serviables, le buffet est à distance de marche et nous étions aussi à distance de marche de la plage et si vous ne voulez pas marcher, vous pouvez vous faire conduire, nous avons aimé jouer au volley-ball. Grand buffet pour le petit déjeuner jamais avoir à attendre pour obtenir de la nourriture et il y a toujours beaucoup. La seule chose que je n'ai pas aimée est l'un des petits magasins où il n'y a pas d'étiquettes d [... lire plus]e prix sur les articles et ils vous facturent n'importe quel prix et si vous dites que vous allez partir parce que c'est trop cher, ils continuent à vous harceler. La seule chose que l'hôtel pourrait améliorer, c'est qu'il pourrait rappeler aux gens les choses gratuites qu'ils peuvent faire, comme le court de tennis, etc. Nous avons toujours laissé quelques unes de nos affaires à la plage et personne n'a jamais rien volé, c'est un très bon endroit pour se détendre

Awsome resort Great hotel, clean room, airport very helpful people, walking distance to go at the buffet and we were also walking distance to the beach and if you dont want to walk you can get a ride we enjoyed playing volleyball. Great buffet for breakfast never have to wait to get food and there is always lot. The only thing I did not like was one of the little store there is no price tags on the items and tgey charge you whatever price and if you say that you will walk away because it is too expensive they keep bugging you. The only thing that I could say that the resort could improve on is that they could remind people about some of the free stuff that oeople can do such as the tennis court etc. We always left some if our stuff at the beach and nobody ever stole anything great place to relax

Je commencerai par le service, car j'estime qu'il doit être mentionné en premier. Nous avons été traités comme des rois. Le personnel est très bien organisé et travaille en équipe pour satisfaire les clients. Le complexe est propre, calme et petit. Les piscines sont grandes et ont une variété de thèmes/atmosphères (calme/musique ou ombre). Vous devez sauver les chaises longues avant 8 heures du matin au bord de la piscine en jetant une serviette sur chaque chaise. Best Vacation Yet I will start with the service as I feel the service needs to be mentioned first. TOP NOTCH service, as we were treated as Royals. The staff is very well organized and they work well as a team to please the guests. The resort is clean, quiet and small. The pools are large and have a variety of themes/atmosphere (quiet/music or shade) You need to save lounge chairs by 8 am poolside by throwing a towel on each chair. Shuttled to your own beach with butler service (nice treat for us) Best food we ever had. I recommend this resort. The price was great and the resort was just what we looked for for our December vacation! Thanks for the memories. We recommend the all day excursion to cenote/ruins!!

C'est notre deuxième séjour et nous n'avons pas été déçus. La situation est excellente, la nourriture est excellente, les équipements sont excellents. Si vous voulez des vacances reposantes, c'est l'endroit idéal. C'est un lieu réservé aux adultes et il est superbement entretenu. Les restaurants disponibles permettent de changer des buffets si nécessaire. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un lieu de villégiature d'un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Top Knotch This is our second time and again not disappointed. The Location is great, food great, amenities great. If you want a relaxing vacation, this is the place to go. It is an adult only venue and is superbly maintained. The available restaurants give one a change from buffet food if you need that. All in all a value for money resort.
