Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Deuxième fois

Ce complexe est l'un des meilleurs que nous ayons visités. Il est très propre et la majorité du personnel est très sympathique. La plage est parfaite. Les employés y veillent. La sécurité est souvent présente et vous vous sentez en sécurité à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur de l'hôtel. La nourriture du buffet est exceptionnelle. Les plats à la carte sont aléatoires. Les chambres sont basiques mais propres. Je donnerais une note de 4 à ce complexe et j'y retournerais certainement si le prix était co [... lire plus]rrect.

Second Time This resort is one of the better ones that we have visited. This was our second time.It is very clean and the majority of the staff are very friendly. The beach is perfect. The workers make sure if that. Security is often seen and you feel quite safe both on and off the resort. The food in the buffet is exceptional. The ala cartes are hit and miss. The rooms are basic but clean. I would rate this resort a 4. I would definitely return if the price was right.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Belle plage de sable doux et propre. Hôtel propre et accueillant. Nourriture délicieuse. Divertissements exceptionnels. Le spectacle de Michael Jackson était incroyable. Le magicien était très rusé et le spectacle de cirque était palpitant. Ces gars-là sont forts ! J'y retournerai sans hésiter !

Amazing resort-! Beautiful, clean, soft sand beach. Clean, friendly hotel. Yummy food. Outstanding entertainment. Michael Jackson show was unbelievable. The magician was very tricky and the circus show was thrilling. Those guys are strong! Would definitely go back!

Riu Republica: Grand centre de villégiature !

Très nouveau, propre, grand centre de villégiature avec une nourriture et des divertissements excellents. Une nouvelle section a été ouverte pendant que nous y étions, comprenant une zone de toboggans aquatiques et deux autres piscines. Il y a beaucoup de piscines parmi lesquelles choisir et il n'y a pas de problème pour trouver des endroits où s'asseoir avec un grand groupe.

Great Resort! Very new, clean, big resort with great food and entertainment. A new section opened while we there that included a water slides area and 2 other pools. Lots of pools to choose from and no trouble finding areas to sit with a large group.

Catalonia Bavaro Resort: Station balnéaire Beautiflu !

Nous avons séjourné dans ce complexe du 9 au 16 novembre. Dans l'ensemble, l'expérience a été excellente. Voici les détails : Plage : Très grande, beau sable. Beaucoup d'algues cependant, qui ont été nettoyées tous les matins. L'eau n'était pas très claire, nous ne nous y sommes pas aventurés, beaucoup d'algues. Piscine : Parfaite. Des tonnes de chaises et de places au soleil ou à l'ombre. Le bar de la piscine est génial. La forme de la piscine permet d'être proche de l'action ou à [... lire plus] l'écart, selon ses préférences. Restaurants : Nous avions le Privilège, nous les avons donc tous essayés. Nous n'avons pas eu à nous plaindre. Le steakhouse était préféré, mais il était excellent. Terrain : Spectaculaire. Golf : n'y est pas allé. Personnel : Parfait : Parfait, jamais de problème, très amical. Beaucoup d'animations autour de la piscine, mais ils ont respecté ceux qui ne voulaient pas participer. Présentation de la multipropriété : Nous l'avons fait/ Cela a pris une heure, et quand nous avons dit que nous n'étions pas intéressés, c'était fini. Pas du tout pressant, et n'a pas essayé de vendre à outrance. Chambre : Nouvellement rénovée, tout était parfait. Deux douches à effet de pluie, génial ! J'y retournerais !

Beautiflu resort! We stayed at this resort from Nov 9th to the 16th. Overall experience was great. Here are the particulars: Beach: Very large, nice sand. A lot of seaweed though, which was cleaned up every morning. The water was not very clear, we did not venture in, a lot of weed beds. Pool: Perfect. Tons of chairs, and places for sun or shade. Pool bar is great. The pool is shaped so that you can be close to the action, or away, depending on your preference. Restaurants: We had Priviledge, so we tried all of them. No complaints. Steakhouse was preferred, but were great. Grounds: Spectacular. Golf: Did not go. Staff: Perfect, never had issues, very friendly. Lots of entertainment around the pool, but they respected those who did not want to participate. Timeshare presentation: We did do this/ It took an hour, and when we said we were not interested, it was over. Not pushy at all, and did not try to sell to hard. Room: Newly renovated, everything was perfect. Dual rain showers, awesome! Would go back!

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: Fantastique à Fantasia

Pour les familles avec des enfants de 3 à 13 ans, c'est un excellent établissement. Les chambres sont bien conçues, avec un lit King ou deux lits doubles (pas queensize) plus un canapé rabattable / lit gigogne. Les chambres sont grandes, tout comme la salle de bains à double lavabo avec une immense cabine de douche séparée et une grande baignoire à remous. Les sols en marbre blanc des chambres sont propres et étincelants. Le même carrelage est largement utilisé dans l'ensemble de l'hôtel, dans  [... lire plus]les parties communes et autour des piscines. Attention, ils sont glissants lorsqu'ils sont mouillés. Il y a quatre restaurants sur le site, et l'accès à plus d'une douzaine d'autres dans le complexe Bahia, avec une grande variété de choix de nourriture. Le buffet principal du Fantasia, le Larimar, propose des places à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur, avec de nombreuses tables pour accueillir les familles nombreuses. Les plats du petit-déjeuner, du déjeuner et du dîner sont préparés à partir de produits frais, avec de nombreuses options, et un thème quotidien tournant pour le dîner. Une section a été aménagée pour les enfants, avec des plats populaires comme des frites, des petits sandwichs, etc. à des comptoirs bas. Le restaurant Fantasia, situé sur la plage et à la fin de la file d'attente pour le trolley, propose un petit buffet très agréable et un service impeccable. L'énorme toboggan aquatique et la section de la piscine la plus proche de la direction de la plage sont aménagés pour les enfants de tous âges, avec une zone très peu profonde et de nombreuses chaises longues sur une vaste zone environnante. Ce côté du château a également le bar de natation et le personnel de divertissement qui travaille principalement de ce côté. Le côté de la piscine le plus proche du hall est divisé en deux grands bassins, d'une profondeur d'environ 3,5 pieds, avec de nombreux escaliers d'accès autour des côtés de forme libre. Le personnel circule toute la journée et propose des boissons et parfois des en-cas sur les chaises longues, et il y a suffisamment de petites tables à côté des chaises. Les spectacles pour enfants commencent vers 20 heures dans le théâtre du hall ou dans le théâtre extérieur à l'entrée principale. Ils sont très interactifs et font monter sur scène des enfants de tous âges, qui se déguisent, etc.

Fantastic at Fantasia For families with kids of 3 to 13 it is an excellent resort. Rooms are well designed, with either a King bed or two doubles (not queensize) plus a flip down couch / trundle bed. Rooms are large as is the double sink bathroom with a huge separate shower stall and a large whirlpool tub. White marble floors in the rooms are kept clean and gleaming. The same tile is used extensively through out the resort in public areas and around the pools. I would caution, they are slippery when wet. There are four restaurants on site, plus access to over a dozen more through out the Bahia Complex, with a great variety of food choices. The Fantasia main buffet, Larimar, has both indoor and out door seating with lots of tables to accommodate large families. Food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner is prepared fresh and with many options, and a rotating daily theme for dinner. They have a section set up for children with popular foods like French Fries and small sandwichs etc at low counters. There is a exclusive Fantasia restaurant at the beach and the end of the line for the trolly, that makes a nice little buffet and has great service. The huge water slide and pool section closest to beach direction are set up for children of all ages, including a very shallow area and lots of lounges chairs over a huge surrounding area. that side of the Castle also has the swim up bar, and the entertainment staff working mostly in that side. The pool side closest to the lobby is divided in two large pools, approximately 3 1/2 feet deep, with many sweeping staircase access's around the free form sides. Staff are circulating all day providing drinks and some times snacks at your lounge chairs and there are sufficient little side tables beside the chairs. Childrens shows start around 8 PM in the lobby theater or the outdoor theater at the front entrance and are very interactive, getting kids of all ages to come up on the stage and dress up etc.

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Un lieu de villégiature exceptionnel

Nous avons vraiment apprécié nos vacances et nous avons hâte d'y retourner. Le terrain était magnifique, le personnel serviable et amical, les chambres bien entretenues et la nourriture bonne. Nous avons été étonnés de constater qu'il y avait tant de piscines disponibles qu'une zone ne semblait jamais bondée. La plage était magnifique et nous avons apprécié les activités proposées.

Terrific Resort We really enjoyed our vacation and look forward to going there again. The grounds were beautiful, the staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were well cared for and the food was good. We were amazed there were so many pools available that one area never seemed crowded. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed the activities that were offered.

Riu Republica: Excellent séjour

Pour - Nouveau, propre, moderne, personnel sympathique, excellent buffet. Bon club. Beaucoup de choses à faire. Plage géniale. Contre- Les divertissements de jour sont répétitifs et peuvent être trop vulgaires -Les animations nocturnes sont tout à fait à l'opposé, plus adaptées aux anciens. -Les gens tombent dans la piscine ou doivent être raccompagnés en chaise roulante jusqu'à leur chambre -Au milieu de notre voyage, le resort s'est agrandi, les restaurants ont été fermés au lieu de 7 [... lire plus] jours par semaine -Problèmes d'eau intermittents Cela dit, dans l'ensemble, nous avons fait un excellent voyage et nous reviendrons ici !

Great stay Pros- New, Clean, Modern, Friendly staff, Great Buffet. Good club. Lots to do. Wicked beach. Cons- Day time entertainment is repetitive and can be too vulgar -Night time entertainment is complete opposite, more suited for old timers. -Overserving— people falling in pool area or having to be wheel chair escorted back to room -Mid way through our trip resort expanded, restaurants closed instead of 7days wk -Intermittant water issues That being said overall great trip and would stay here again!

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Grandes vacances

Nous avons séjourné à l'Ambar Green section pendant deux semaines à la fin du mois d'octobre. Comme il faisait très chaud, nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps à nous détendre autour de la piscine réservée aux adultes. Les serveurs de la piscine, Gloria, Arisleidy, Rossy, Yissel et Nicaurys, étaient excellents et toujours très sympathiques. Nous avons parlé à notre excellent majordome Claudia, qui a réservé tous nos dîners à la carte pour nous. Lorsque nous sommes retournés dans notre cha [... lire plus]mbre plus tard dans la journée, tous nos bons de réservation avaient été livrés dans notre chambre. C'était vraiment génial de ne pas avoir à faire la queue tous les jours pour réserver nos dîners. La variété et la qualité des restaurants à la carte étaient excellentes.

Great Vacation We were at the Ambar Green section for 2 weeks at the end of October. The weather was really hot so we spent most of our time relaxing around the adults only pool. The pool servers Gloria, Arisleidy, Rossy, Yissel and Nicaurys were excellent and always extremely friendly. We spoke to our excellent butler Claudia, and she booked all our a la carte dinners for us. When we returned to our room later that day, all our reservation slips had been delivered to our room. It was really great not to have to stand in line everyday to book dinner reservations. The variety and quality of the a la carte restaurants was excellent.

Grand Bavaro Princess: Bavaro Princess était juste ok.....

Ma femme et moi venons de rentrer du Bavaro Princess (du 11-12 au 11-19) et nous avons été déçus par le voyage. Nous étions des invités Platinum dans la chambre 743. La chambre n'était pas différente des autres sauf que notre rhum et notre vodka ont été remplacés et n'ont même pas été remplacés après la première nuit. Le lit était très inconfortable, nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude (dans tout le resort) pendant une nuit, les amis que nous avons rencontrés pendant la semaine avaient exact [... lire plus]ement la même chambre, lorsque nous nous sommes enregistrés, il n'y avait pas de boisson de bienvenue ou de serviette fraîche comme annoncé. L'emplacement de la chambre était parfait et je recommande d'être au bord de la piscine car la plupart de la journée vous y êtes de toute façon. L'inconvénient est que les chariots s'arrêtent à minuit, donc lorsque nous sommes allés au bar du hall, notre temps était limité car il y avait encore des inondations dans les allées menant aux chambres, ce qui nous a obligés à prendre le transport. La plage était la meilleure partie de ce complexe, sable doux, pas d'algues et très propre. Le seul inconvénient est que les locaux essaient de vous vendre leurs marchandises, de vous faire prendre en photo avec un singe ou un iguane ou d'obtenir des excursions moins chères. Les excursions elles-mêmes sont aléatoires et dépendent toujours du groupe de personnes et de votre hôte. Nous avons opté pour l'excursion sur l'île de Saona, où l'on nous garantissait de voir un poisson étoilé, mais nous n'en avons pas vu. La rencontre avec le poisson étoile était l'une des raisons pour lesquelles nous avons fait cette excursion en particulier, donc j'ai l'impression qu'on nous a survendu et que la promesse n'a pas été tenue. La nourriture pendant l'excursion était épouvantable et nous avons été bousculés pour certains aspects de l'excursion, comme la plongée en apnée. On nous a dit de ne pas être trop long car ce n'est pas juste pour ceux qui sont sur le bateau et qui choisissent de ne pas faire de snorkeling. Cela n'avait pas de sens pour moi. La nourriture au centre de villégiature n'était pas très bonne. Les frites étaient toujours froides, la viande était très grasse et j'ai donc passé plus de temps à couper qu'à manger. Le restaurant oriental n'était pas très appétissant et j'ai fini par aller au McPrincess. Un matin, nous avons commandé un service d'étage et on nous a dit qu'il ne s'agissait que d'un petit-déjeuner continental. Plus tard dans la semaine, nous avons été informés que nous avions le choix entre un petit-déjeuner complet et lorsque nous l'avons réessayé, il s'est avéré décevant car il avait 30 minutes de retard. Les personnes du monde entier que nous avons rencontrées étaient formidables. Le complexe lui-même a du potentiel, mais il est tout simplement trop grand pour moi. Il y avait environ 4 membres du personnel au sujet desquels j'ai l'intention d'envoyer des courriels au centre de villégiature, car ils étaient extraordinaires. La dernière chose, c'est le personnel de la multipropriété. Ce complexe doit se séparer d'eux car ils sont beaucoup trop agressifs. J'ai fini par devenir très grossier avec eux au fur et à mesure que la semaine avançait. Ils essaient de vous offrir un cadeau spécial du fond du cœur, mais ils veulent ensuite que vous passiez une heure à écouter un discours et ils se fichent que vous achetiez ou non, car ils reçoivent 40 $ US pour chaque personne qui participe et vous aidez leur famille à s'en sortir. En fin de compte, ce sont mes vacances et si je veux assister à une réunion, je m'inscris, mais sinon, laissez-moi tranquille. Je ne retournerais pas dans ce complexe et j'essaierais d'aller à Dreams près de La Romania si je décidais de retourner en République Dominicaine.

Bavaro Princess was just ok..... My wife and I just recently returned from Bavaro Princess (11-12 until 11-19) and we were underwhelmed with the trip. We were Platinum guests in room 743. The room was no different than the others except for the fact that we got our rum and vodka replaced and wasn't even replaced after the first night. The bed was very uncomfortable, we were out of hot water (the whole resort) for 1 night, friends that we made through the week had the exact same room, when we checked in there was no welcome drink or cool towel as advertised. The room location was perfect and I recommend being down by the pool area as most of the day you are down there anyway. The downfall there is that the trolley's stop running at midnight so when we went to the lobby bar our time was limited as there was still flooding in the pathways back to the rooms causing us to have to take the transportation. The beach was the best part of this resort, soft sand, no seaweed and very clean. The only downfall are the locals trying to sell you their goods, to get a pic taken with a monkey or iguana or to get cheaper excursions. The excursions themselves are hit and miss as always it depends on the group of people and your host. We opted for the Saona Island tour which where we were guaranteed to see a star fish and we didn't see one. The start fish encounter was one of the reasons we did this particular one so I feel as if we were oversold and the promise was not kept up. The food on the excursion was terrible and we were rushed at certain aspects of it such as snorkling. We were told to don't be too long as it's not fair to those on the boat that are opting our of snortkling. This didn't make sense to me. The food at the resort was not that great. The fries were always cold, the meat was very fatty and therefore I spent more time cutting than eating. The Oriental restaurant was less than appetizing and I ended up just going to McPrincess afterwards. We ordered room service one morning and we were told that it was only a continental breakfast and when it arrived it was just two fruit plates with juice. Later that week we were informed that we had a choice of a complete breakfast meal and when we retried it it still ended up being disappointing as it was 30 minutes late. The people that we met from around the world were great, the resort itself has potential but is just too large for me. There were about 4 staff members that I plan on sending emails to the resort about as they were amazing. The last thing is the time share people. This resort needs to part ways with them as they are WAY too aggressive. I ended up getting very rude with them as the week went on. They try to get you with a special gift from the bottom of their heart but then want you to spend an hour listening to a pitch and they don't care if you buy or not as they get $40 US for each person that attends and you are helping their family out. In the end it's my vacation and if I want to attend a meeting I would sign up, other than that leave me alone. I wouldn't go back to this resort and would try going to Dreams near La Romania if I decided to ever go back to Dominican.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: beau mais trop grand

L'emplacement était excellent - proche de l'aéroport. La plage était la meilleure partie. Juste trop grand. trop longue marche juste pour trouver quelque chose à manger. La nourriture était bonne. Les plats à la carte étaient bons - le steak house était le préféré. Magasins trop haut de gamme sur la propriété. Je préférerais des magasins de type marché. Nous avons passé un meilleur moment à Cuba pour la moitié du prix !

beautiful but too big The location was great-close to the airport. Beach was the best part. Just too big. too long of a walk just to get something to eat. Food was good. A la cartes were good-favourite was the steak house. Shopping too high end on property. Would prefer market style shopping. We had a better time in Cuba for half the price!

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: Escapade automnale

Nous sommes arrivés tard dans la nuit et nous avons vu une pancarte "Joyeux anniversaire" sur notre porte. Nous avons rapidement rangé quelques affaires et nous sommes partis à la recherche de nourriture. La plupart des endroits étaient fermés mais nous sommes allés au buffet qui a ouvert en 20 minutes mais on nous a apporté du poulet frais et chaud et des frites. Le matin, après un petit déjeuner tardif, nous nous sommes mis à la recherche d'un salon de plage. L'eau était magnifique, quelques v [... lire plus]agues et algues mais pas assez pour nous empêcher de sortir. Le toit a été légèrement endommagé par l'ouragan, mais il a été réparé le deuxième jour. Le personnel du bar (Jesuito et Miguel Angel) était formidable et vous attendait pour votre boisson, l'équipe d'animation (Snoopy, Fifi et Disiel) était formidable et nous gardait occupés et actifs, la piscine était géniale avec une grande fête de la mousse. La piscine aurait besoin de quelques réparations, les carreaux tombent. La nourriture était très bonne avec un menu à la carte illimité. Le restaurant japonais valait la peine d'être visité ainsi que le steak house, le restaurant italien n'était pas ce à quoi je m'attendais mais mon dîner a été échangé rapidement. La plage est si belle que nous l'avons parcourue tous les jours. Il y a des vendeurs, mais dites poliment non et donnez un pourboire à vos serveurs car ils se souviennent de vos boissons et le service est bon. J'ai eu recours au room service un soir et la nourriture est arrivée avant l'heure promise. Nous reviendrons Oui, nous recommandons oui, mais si nous faisons un club, réservez-le auprès d'un agent et non à l'hôtel, la baignade n'en vaut pas la peine pour moi après avoir été au Mirage

Fall Getaway We arrived late at night to Happy Anniversary Sign on our door great start , we quickly put a few items away and set out looking for food. Most places were closed but we went to the buffet which opened in 20 minutes but were brought out hot fresh chicken and fries . In the morning after a late breakfast we set out looking for a a beach lounge to our shock we found one . With this we knew we had right location the water was amazing some waves n seaweed but not enough to keep us out. There was minor roof damage from hurricane which was repaired by our second day. Bar staff (Jesuito and Miguel Angel) were great and had your drink waiting for you, Animation team (Snoopy and Fifi and Disiel ) are amazing kept u busy and active,pool was great with a long great foam party. The pool could use some repairs ,tiles falling off. The food was very good with a la carte unlimited was good . The Japanese place was worth going to as was the steak house , the Italian was not what i expected but my dinner was exchanged fast. The beach is so nice as we walked it daily some vendors but politely say no and tip your servers as they do remember your drinks and service is good. I had room service one night and the food came before promised time. Would we come back Yes recommend yes , but if doing club book it with agent not at hotel, swim up to me not worth it after going to the Mirage

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: 12ème séjour dans ce centre de villégiature !

Il s'agit vraiment d'un lieu de séjour extraordinaire à Punta Cana. Il s'agit d'un méga complexe hôtelier qui propose de nombreuses activités pour tous les goûts. L'endroit s'anime la nuit, de sorte que vous ne vous ennuyez jamais. La plage est magnifique et l'eau est calme, ce qui en fait un endroit idéal pour nager. Mon mari et moi sommes allés dans d'autres destinations populaires, mais nous revenons toujours au Barcelo Bavaro pour des vacances extraordinaires ! Merci Eva - Tripcentral

12th Time at this Resort! This is truly an amazing resort to stay at in Punta Cana. It's a mega resort filled with many things to do for everyone. The place comes alive at night so you are never bored. The beach is beautiful and the water is calm making it great for swimming. My husband and I have been to other popular destinations but always come back to the Barcelo Bavaro for an amazing vacation! Thanks Eva - Tripcentral

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Malia Caribe Tropical

Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour, la chambre, la nourriture, les divertissements, les excursions, la plage, etc... Tout était super. Le seul problème que nous avons eu était les aéroports, mais nous avons réussi à tout régler grâce à notre représentant Rodriguz, il a été d'une grande aide. Et merci à Tanya Smith à trip central à Bedford qui a réservé le resort pour nous.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously, the room , the food, the entertainment,the excursions,the beach etc....it was all great . The only problem we had was the airports, but we managed to get it all straightened out thanks to our representative Rodriguz, he was a great help.And thanks to Tanya Smith at trip central in Bedford who booked the resort for us.

Riu Republica: Un lieu de villégiature fantastique.

J'ai séjourné au Riu Republica du 12 au 19 novembre 2017. Station très moderne avec un grand concept pour le spectacle de nuit. Les sièges dans le théâtre se prolongent dans une grande zone de sièges adjacente à un grand bar. Tous les clients ont la possibilité de regarder le spectacle et j'estimerais que 500 personnes et plus doivent être présentes chaque soir. Grande plage longue et large. Beaucoup d'ombre et de lits. L'océan était un peu agité avec de grosses vagues, mais je suis sûr qu [... lire plus]e ce n'est pas le cas tout le temps. Le personnel d'animation est le meilleur que j'ai vu. Le chef "bugs bunny" a une énergie incroyable et dirige son équipe de tôt le matin à tard le soir. La nourriture au buffet était abondante et très bonne. Les restaurants étaient tous un mélange de plats à la carte et de buffets. Beaucoup d'options différentes. Republica 1 a ouvert la veille de notre départ. Plus de restaurants, de piscines et de toboggans aquatiques. Superbes chambres, beaucoup d'espace. Personnel très attentif dans les restaurants et le hall d'entrée.

Fantastic resort. Stayed at the Riu Republica November 12 thru November 19 2017. Very modern resort with great concept for the night show. Seating in theatre extends out into large seating area adjacent to large bar. All guests have opportunity to watch the show and i would estimate 500 people plus must be in attendance each night. Great beach long and wide. Lots of shade and lots of beds. Ocean was a little rough with big waves although I'm sure not like that all the time. Animation staff are the best I have seen. The leader " bugs bunny" has unbelievable energy and runs his crew from early morning to late at night. Food at buffet was plentiful and very good. Restaurants were all a mixture of a la carte and buffet. Lots of different options. Republica 1 opened up the day before we left. More restaurants pools and waterslides . Great rooms lots of space. Very attentive staff at restaurants and lobby area.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: De bons moments...

L'hôtel est immense (mais je le savais car j'y étais déjà allé). Très propre et bien entretenu. Les chambres sont spacieuses et, là encore, propres. La nourriture était bonne - pas gastronomique mais ce n'est pas ce que je recherchais. Il y a toujours quelque chose de bon à manger et le bar à pâtes est toujours là au cas où vous ne pourriez pas. La plage est magnifique mais très fréquentée. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce complexe.

Good times... Hotel was massive (but I knew this as I have been before). Very clean and well kept. Rooms are spacious and again, clean. Food was fine- not gourmet but that's not what I went for. Always something good to eat and the pasta bar is always there in case you can't. Beach is beautiful but very busy. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this resort.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Station balnéaire en difficulté

2 jours sans eau chaude et le personnel et la direction ne s'en souciaient guère et n'ont proposé une autre chambre qu'après des heures de réclamation. Le personnel ne savait pas comment naviguer dans le complexe. L'hôtel a l'air plutôt vieillot et aurait besoin d'un grand lifting.

Troubled resort 2 days without hot water and the staff and management could care less and only offered an alternate room after hours of complaining. The staff didn't know how to navigate the resort. The resort is looking rather dated and could use with a major face lift.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: De beaux terrains - Des chambres moins belles

Le terrain est magnifique et bien entretenu. La plage est magnifique. Les chaises longues n'étaient pas des plus confortables. Le personnel était assez misérable. Ils souriaient pour dire bonjour, puis se tenaient à carreau et étaient généralement malheureux. (Nous sommes des gens heureux et joyeux, donc ce n'est pas comme s'ils se nourrissaient de notre énergie, nous avons fait tout notre possible pour être gentils et reconnaissants). La nourriture était excellente, avec de nombreuses  [... lire plus]options différentes. Nous avons trouvé quelques aliments mal cuits, comme les crêpes qui étaient pleines de pâte au milieu. La chambre était brutale, la porte d'entrée cassée que nous avons dû vérifier pour entrer, les toilettes cassées, la baignoire a été peinte pour avoir l'air neuve, ils ont recouvert le carrelage existant sur le mur du fond pour qu'il ait l'air neuf, la pomme de douche ne pointait que vers le bas de sorte que vous deviez vous tenir debout avec la poignée du robinet contre votre arrière-train, la télévision cassée, l'odeur de moisi, des taches sur les tissus d'ameublement, de la peinture rouge ou du sang à l'intérieur des portes de placard (nous étions presque sûrs que c'était de la peinture rouge mais nous ne pouvions pas en être sûrs). Soit la femme de ménage a laissé notre porte coulissante ouverte un jour, soit quelqu'un a essayé d'entrer par effraction et a laissé la porte entrouverte. Nous avons spécifiquement demandé à Trip Central de nous obtenir une chambre au 2ème ou 3ème étage afin de ne pas avoir à nous préoccuper de la sécurité, mais nous n'avons pas obtenu cela. Trip Central nous a également dit que nous aurions une chambre plus moderne (ils annoncent des chambres plus belles sur le site web) et nous n'avons manifestement pas eu une chambre plus belle et je n'ai pu voir aucun bâtiment qui en disposait réellement. Je pense qu'ils ont utilisé des photos du complexe voisin (Barcelo Bavaro Palace). Le Palace était magnifique et le personnel plus sympathique. Tout y était propre, neuf et moderne. Cette partie peut ou non avoir un rapport avec l'hôtel, mais elle vaut la peine d'être notée : Un représentant de Sunwing nommé Emmanuel était censé nous rencontrer à l'hôtel au service des invités pour s'assurer que nous obtenions le transfert vers l'aéroport à notre départ (c'est aussi l'occasion pour eux de vous vendre des excursions). On nous a dit qu'il fallait absolument être présent à ce rendez-vous. Nous y sommes allés à l'heure indiquée, le mercredi à 14 heures, et il ne s'est pas présenté. Un autre gars d'une autre compagnie l'a appelé sur son portable et lui a dit qu'il ne viendrait pas et que nous devrions revenir à 14h00 le vendredi et qu'Emmanuel avait dit qu'il serait là. Nous nous sommes présentés vendredi et il n'était toujours pas là. Nous n'avions que trois jours complets au resort et Emmanuel nous a donc empêchés d'aller où que ce soit ou de faire des excursions parce que nous devions être là pour ces rendez-vous. De plus, nous n'avions aucune idée si le transfert de retour à l'aéroport avait été confirmé. Notre vol avec Sunwing a également été brutal, mais c'est une autre histoire.

Beautiful Grounds - Not So Beautiful Rooms Grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. The beach was amazing. The lounge chairs were not the most comfortable. The staff were fairly miserable. They would smile to say hello and then be straight faced and generally unhappy. (We're happy cheery people so it's not like they were feeding off of our energy, we went out of our way to be kind and grateful). The food was great with many different options. We did find a few things undercooked like the pancakes that were full of batter in the middle. The room was brutal, broken entry door that we had to body check to get in, broken toilet, the tub was painted to look new, they tiled over the existing tile on the rear wall to make it look new, the showerhead only pointed straight down so you had to stand with the faucet handle against your rear end, broken TV, musty smell, stains on upholstery, either red paint or blood on the interior of the closet doors (were fairly certain it was red paint but couldn't be sure). Either the maid left our sliding door open one day or someone tried to break in and left the door ajar. We specifically asked trip central to get us a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor so we didn't have to be concerned about security but we did not get that. We were also told by Trip Central that we were getting an updated room (they advertise nicer rooms on the website) and we obviously did not get a nicer room and I couldn't see any buildings that actually had them. I think they used pictures from the neighbouring resort (Barcelo Bavaro Palace). The Palace was gorgeous and staff were more friendly. Everything there was clean, new and modern. This part may or may not have to do with the hotel but it's worth noting: A Sunwing representative named Emmanuel was supposed to meet us at the resort in Guest Services to ensure we get the transfer back to the airport when we leave (it's also an opportunity for them to sell you excursions). We were told we absolutely had to be at this appointment. We went at the time we were given, Wednesday at 2:00 pm and he was a no show. Another guy from another company call his cell and he said he wasn't coming and that we should come back at 2:00 pm on Friday and that Emmanuel said he would be there. We showed up Friday and he was a no show again. We only had three full days at the resort so Emmanuel completed hooped us for being able to go anywhere or do any excursions because we had to be there for those appointments. Furthermore, we had no clue if the transfer back to the airport had been confirmed. Our flight through Sunwing was also brutal but that's another story.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Le voyage d'une vie !

Le centre de villégiature était extraordinaire. Tout le monde était sympathique et les installations et le terrain étaient bien entretenus. Les animateurs étaient excellents, en particulier Jhonny, Luis, Alexander et JC. Il aurait été bien de disposer d'un programme indiquant où et quand se déroulaient les différentes activités. Nous avons séjourné à Ambar Green et avons été déçus que la vie nocturne s'arrête à 23h30. Nous pensions qu'un hôtel réservé aux adultes signifiait des adultes seuls, ma [... lire plus]is la plupart étaient des couples. Mais... nous y retournerons !

Trip of a lifetime! The resort was amazing. Everyone was friendly and the facilities and grounds were well kept. The entertainers were excellent especially Jhonny, Luis, Alexander and JC. It would have been nice to have a schedule of where and when different things were going on. We stayed at Ambar Green and were disappointed that the nightlife died at 11:30pm. We thought an adults only meant single adults but most were couples. But...we would go back again!

Riu Republica: a passé un excellent moment !

L'hôtel était très bien ! La chambre était très agréable. La vue sur l'océan depuis la chambre était superbe. C'était tellement relaxant de s'asseoir sur le balcon et de regarder le monde passer. On s'est beaucoup amusé au bar de la piscine ! La nourriture était bonne (certains restaurants étaient meilleurs que d'autres, mais c'est un choix personnel). la plage était géniale !

had an awesome time! Hotel was great! The room was very nice. The ocean view from the room was great. it was so relaxing to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by. Tons of fun at the swim up pool bar! The food was good (some restaurants were better than others, but that's a personal food choice). the beach was awesome!
