Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: De bons moments...

L'hôtel est immense (mais je le savais car j'y étais déjà allé). Très propre et bien entretenu. Les chambres sont spacieuses et, là encore, propres. La nourriture était bonne - pas gastronomique mais ce n'est pas ce que je recherchais. Il y a toujours quelque chose de bon à manger et le bar à pâtes est toujours là au cas où vous ne pourriez pas. La plage est magnifique mais très fréquentée. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce complexe.

Good times... Hotel was massive (but I knew this as I have been before). Very clean and well kept. Rooms are spacious and again, clean. Food was fine- not gourmet but that's not what I went for. Always something good to eat and the pasta bar is always there in case you can't. Beach is beautiful but very busy. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at this resort.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: Station balnéaire en difficulté

2 jours sans eau chaude et le personnel et la direction ne s'en souciaient guère et n'ont proposé une autre chambre qu'après des heures de réclamation. Le personnel ne savait pas comment naviguer dans le complexe. L'hôtel a l'air plutôt vieillot et aurait besoin d'un grand lifting.

Troubled resort 2 days without hot water and the staff and management could care less and only offered an alternate room after hours of complaining. The staff didn't know how to navigate the resort. The resort is looking rather dated and could use with a major face lift.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: De beaux terrains - Des chambres moins belles

Le terrain est magnifique et bien entretenu. La plage est magnifique. Les chaises longues n'étaient pas des plus confortables. Le personnel était assez misérable. Ils souriaient pour dire bonjour, puis se tenaient à carreau et étaient généralement malheureux. (Nous sommes des gens heureux et joyeux, donc ce n'est pas comme s'ils se nourrissaient de notre énergie, nous avons fait tout notre possible pour être gentils et reconnaissants). La nourriture était excellente, avec de nombreuses  [... lire plus]options différentes. Nous avons trouvé quelques aliments mal cuits, comme les crêpes qui étaient pleines de pâte au milieu. La chambre était brutale, la porte d'entrée cassée que nous avons dû vérifier pour entrer, les toilettes cassées, la baignoire a été peinte pour avoir l'air neuve, ils ont recouvert le carrelage existant sur le mur du fond pour qu'il ait l'air neuf, la pomme de douche ne pointait que vers le bas de sorte que vous deviez vous tenir debout avec la poignée du robinet contre votre arrière-train, la télévision cassée, l'odeur de moisi, des taches sur les tissus d'ameublement, de la peinture rouge ou du sang à l'intérieur des portes de placard (nous étions presque sûrs que c'était de la peinture rouge mais nous ne pouvions pas en être sûrs). Soit la femme de ménage a laissé notre porte coulissante ouverte un jour, soit quelqu'un a essayé d'entrer par effraction et a laissé la porte entrouverte. Nous avons spécifiquement demandé à Trip Central de nous obtenir une chambre au 2ème ou 3ème étage afin de ne pas avoir à nous préoccuper de la sécurité, mais nous n'avons pas obtenu cela. Trip Central nous a également dit que nous aurions une chambre plus moderne (ils annoncent des chambres plus belles sur le site web) et nous n'avons manifestement pas eu une chambre plus belle et je n'ai pu voir aucun bâtiment qui en disposait réellement. Je pense qu'ils ont utilisé des photos du complexe voisin (Barcelo Bavaro Palace). Le Palace était magnifique et le personnel plus sympathique. Tout y était propre, neuf et moderne. Cette partie peut ou non avoir un rapport avec l'hôtel, mais elle vaut la peine d'être notée : Un représentant de Sunwing nommé Emmanuel était censé nous rencontrer à l'hôtel au service des invités pour s'assurer que nous obtenions le transfert vers l'aéroport à notre départ (c'est aussi l'occasion pour eux de vous vendre des excursions). On nous a dit qu'il fallait absolument être présent à ce rendez-vous. Nous y sommes allés à l'heure indiquée, le mercredi à 14 heures, et il ne s'est pas présenté. Un autre gars d'une autre compagnie l'a appelé sur son portable et lui a dit qu'il ne viendrait pas et que nous devrions revenir à 14h00 le vendredi et qu'Emmanuel avait dit qu'il serait là. Nous nous sommes présentés vendredi et il n'était toujours pas là. Nous n'avions que trois jours complets au resort et Emmanuel nous a donc empêchés d'aller où que ce soit ou de faire des excursions parce que nous devions être là pour ces rendez-vous. De plus, nous n'avions aucune idée si le transfert de retour à l'aéroport avait été confirmé. Notre vol avec Sunwing a également été brutal, mais c'est une autre histoire.

Beautiful Grounds - Not So Beautiful Rooms Grounds are gorgeous & well maintained. The beach was amazing. The lounge chairs were not the most comfortable. The staff were fairly miserable. They would smile to say hello and then be straight faced and generally unhappy. (We're happy cheery people so it's not like they were feeding off of our energy, we went out of our way to be kind and grateful). The food was great with many different options. We did find a few things undercooked like the pancakes that were full of batter in the middle. The room was brutal, broken entry door that we had to body check to get in, broken toilet, the tub was painted to look new, they tiled over the existing tile on the rear wall to make it look new, the showerhead only pointed straight down so you had to stand with the faucet handle against your rear end, broken TV, musty smell, stains on upholstery, either red paint or blood on the interior of the closet doors (were fairly certain it was red paint but couldn't be sure). Either the maid left our sliding door open one day or someone tried to break in and left the door ajar. We specifically asked trip central to get us a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor so we didn't have to be concerned about security but we did not get that. We were also told by Trip Central that we were getting an updated room (they advertise nicer rooms on the website) and we obviously did not get a nicer room and I couldn't see any buildings that actually had them. I think they used pictures from the neighbouring resort (Barcelo Bavaro Palace). The Palace was gorgeous and staff were more friendly. Everything there was clean, new and modern. This part may or may not have to do with the hotel but it's worth noting: A Sunwing representative named Emmanuel was supposed to meet us at the resort in Guest Services to ensure we get the transfer back to the airport when we leave (it's also an opportunity for them to sell you excursions). We were told we absolutely had to be at this appointment. We went at the time we were given, Wednesday at 2:00 pm and he was a no show. Another guy from another company call his cell and he said he wasn't coming and that we should come back at 2:00 pm on Friday and that Emmanuel said he would be there. We showed up Friday and he was a no show again. We only had three full days at the resort so Emmanuel completed hooped us for being able to go anywhere or do any excursions because we had to be there for those appointments. Furthermore, we had no clue if the transfer back to the airport had been confirmed. Our flight through Sunwing was also brutal but that's another story.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Le voyage d'une vie !

Le centre de villégiature était extraordinaire. Tout le monde était sympathique et les installations et le terrain étaient bien entretenus. Les animateurs étaient excellents, en particulier Jhonny, Luis, Alexander et JC. Il aurait été bien de disposer d'un programme indiquant où et quand se déroulaient les différentes activités. Nous avons séjourné à Ambar Green et avons été déçus que la vie nocturne s'arrête à 23h30. Nous pensions qu'un hôtel réservé aux adultes signifiait des adultes seuls, ma [... lire plus]is la plupart étaient des couples. Mais... nous y retournerons !

Trip of a lifetime! The resort was amazing. Everyone was friendly and the facilities and grounds were well kept. The entertainers were excellent especially Jhonny, Luis, Alexander and JC. It would have been nice to have a schedule of where and when different things were going on. We stayed at Ambar Green and were disappointed that the nightlife died at 11:30pm. We thought an adults only meant single adults but most were couples. But...we would go back again!

Riu Republica: a passé un excellent moment !

L'hôtel était très bien ! La chambre était très agréable. La vue sur l'océan depuis la chambre était superbe. C'était tellement relaxant de s'asseoir sur le balcon et de regarder le monde passer. On s'est beaucoup amusé au bar de la piscine ! La nourriture était bonne (certains restaurants étaient meilleurs que d'autres, mais c'est un choix personnel). la plage était géniale !

had an awesome time! Hotel was great! The room was very nice. The ocean view from the room was great. it was so relaxing to sit out on the balcony and watch the world go by. Tons of fun at the swim up pool bar! The food was good (some restaurants were better than others, but that's a personal food choice). the beach was awesome!

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Barcelo Bavaro Palace - notre centre de villégiature préféré à Punta Cana - du 3 au 17 novembre 2017

Ma femme et moi y sommes allés près de 10 fois depuis 1999. Nous bénéficions de la gratuité du golf avec Sunwing Tours, mais nous devons payer des frais de voiturette de 75 USD par personne pour jouer. Le terrain de golf est un très bon parcours Pete Dye. Le prix de la voiturette est trop élevé à notre avis. Le choix des restaurants est bon et la nourriture est meilleure que la moyenne des stations que nous avons essayées. Il y a eu beaucoup de pluie pendant ce voyage, mais les inconvénients é [... lire plus]taient mineurs en raison du calendrier.

Barcelo Bavaro Palace - our favorite resort in Punta Cana - Nov. 3-17, 2017 My wife and I have been here close to 10 times since 1999. We get complimentary golf with Sunwing Tours but must pay a cart fee of $75 USD per person to play. Golf course is very good Pete Dye layout. Cart pricing is too costly in our minds. Restaurant selection is good and food is better than average among resorts we have tried. Had a lot of rain this trip but inconvenience was minor due to timing.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: des vacances en famille parfaites

Magnifique terrain, plage splendide, nourriture excellente, personnel amical et serviable. Personnel très accommodant. Ils sont venus rapidement pour réparer le téléphone et le coffre-fort. Nous avons ajouté le niveau Preferred Club, ce qui a rendu le voyage encore plus spécial. Nous avons eu une chambre plus proche de la plage et l'accès à la piscine et au salon du Preferred Club. Le personnel s'est montré accommodant avec les allergies alimentaires.

We added Preferred Club level and made trip extra special. We had room closer to beach and access to preferred club pool and lounge. Staff accommodating with food allergies.

Bahia Principe Escape Aquamarine: Le paradis !

Je commencerai par le défaut, le seul défaut. Le lit était trop dur. Les trois autres femmes avec lesquelles j'ai voyagé ont ressenti la même chose, mais n'ont pas été affectées de la même manière que moi, car j'ai déjà des problèmes lombaires. Cependant, tout bien considéré, cela n'a pas gâché mon voyage et je vais vous dire pourquoi. Le terrain était impeccable, le personnel très amical (contrairement à plusieurs commentaires que j'ai lus et qui disaient le contraire). La chambre était impe [... lire plus]ccable et charmante, et le personnel de chambre s'assurait que nous étions bien approvisionnés chaque jour en café, thé, eau, etc... La douche est à tomber par terre (pommeau de douche à effet pluie), et les couloirs/espaces communs étaient également très bien entretenus. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème avec nos deux chambres. Le personnel d'animation (zone de la piscine) était fabuleux. Ils ne sont pas insistants, mais ils vous font lever de votre siège pour participer à la danse, aux activités aquatiques, à la Zumba et même à un cours de spinning dans la piscine. La piscine et ses environs étaient les plus propres que j'aie jamais vus et tout ce que vous regardez est magnifique. Beaucoup de zones couvertes (parasols, chaises longues à baldaquin) et une grande quantité de chaises, de sorte qu'il n'y avait pas d'inquiétude que vous ne trouveriez pas un. Ils ont organisé une fête sur la plage et une fête au champagne dans le jacuzzi deux soirs de suite, de sorte qu'il y a un bon mélange d'événements ainsi que des spectacles nocturnes. La discothèque se trouve dans le village de la station, vous pouvez donc choisir d'y participer ou non, mais vous n'en êtes pas affecté si vous décidez de ne pas le faire. C'est de loin la meilleure discothèque que j'aie jamais connue et je la recommande vivement, même si vous n'êtes pas un grand "fêtard". C'était une expérience formidable. La nourriture était bonne et la sélection variait chaque soir car le thème changeait tous les jours, mais il y avait des offres constantes, donc si vous trouvez quelque chose que vous aimez vraiment, il y a des chances que vous l'ayez à nouveau. J'ai tellement apprécié ce complexe et tout ce qu'il a à offrir que j'ai décidé d'y organiser mon mariage l'année prochaine. Je ne connais rien de mieux que cela pour exprimer à quel point nous avons passé un moment incroyable et nous sommes impatients de revenir.

Paradise! I will start with the flaw, the one flaw. The bed was too hard. The 3 other ladies I travelled with felt the same but were not affected in the same manner as myself because I have existing lower back issues. However, all things considered, it did not ruin my trip and I will tell you why. The grounds were immaculate, staff was very friendly (contrary to several reviews I read stating otherwise). The room was spotless and lovely and the maid staff made sure we were fully stocked each day with all coffees, teas, water, etc... the shower is to die for (rainfall shower head), and the hallways/ common areas were also very well kept. We had no issues with either of our rooms. The entertainment staff (pool area) were fabulous. Not pushy but got you up out of your seat to participate in dancing, water activities, Zumba, and even a spin class in the pool. The pool and surrounding area were the cleanest I have ever experienced and everywhere you look is beautiful. Lots of covered areas (umbrellas, canopied lounge chairs) and an ample amount of chairs so there was no worry that you wouldn’t find one. They hosted a beach party and a champagne jacuzzi party on 2 of the evenings so there’s a nice mixture of events as well as nightly shows. The disco is in the village area of the resort so you can choose to participate or not but are not affected by it if you choose not to. It was by far the best resort disco I have ever experienced and I highly recommend it even if you’re not a big “party goer”. It was a great experience. The food was good and the selection varied each evening as the theme changes daily but they did have some constant offerings so if you find something you really like, chances are you will get it again. I enjoyed this resort and all that it has to offer so much that I have decided to have my wedding here next year. I don’t know of anything better than that to express how amazing of a time we had and we can’t wait to return.

Occidental Punta Cana: magnifique hôtel

c'est la troisième fois que je viens à l'Occidental et encore une fois c'était merveilleux, le service comme d'habitude était formidable, si amical, vous ne pouviez pas vous plaindre de quoi que ce soit, de la nourriture, des spectacles, le temps nous a fait mal les deux premiers jours avec de la pluie mais après cela fabuleux si quelqu'un lit ceci et n'a pas été à l'Occidental, je recommanderais vraiment ce centre de villégiature

wonderful hotel this is my third time at Occidental and again it was wonderful the service as usual was terrific so friendly,you couldn't complain about anything that's there to the food, shows the weather hurt us for the first couple of days with rain but after that fabulous if anyone is reading this and hasn't been to the occidental i would really recommend this resort

Grand Palladium Palace Resort Spa and Casino: Décevant !

Pour commencer, c'était notre quatrième séjour dans ce complexe - j'ai été très déçue d'apprendre que deux des meilleurs restaurants (brésilien et japonais) étaient en travaux - Ceci étant dit, il s'agit d'un complexe où l'on séjourne une fois et où l'on joue trois fois, mais les halls d'entrée de Punta Cana et de Bavaro étaient également fermés et en travaux... Il y avait beaucoup de travaux dans tout le complexe, de la plage aux terrains - Notre chambre était au rez-de-chaussée, face à la p [... lire plus]lage - Le deuxième jour, une équipe a commencé à creuser une tranchée juste à l'extérieur de notre chambre et cela a duré pendant tout le séjour, donc inutile de dire qu'il n'y avait pas beaucoup d'intimité ou de plaisir à s'asseoir dehors sur le petit patio de la chambre. Restaurants - Le principe du premier arrivé, premier servi a été très frustrant, les deux restaurants susmentionnés étant fermés. Les clients du Royal Turquesa ont le privilège de pouvoir réserver à l'avance, ce qui a entraîné des temps d'attente extrêmement longs pour les personnes séjournant dans l'une des trois autres propriétés. J'avais demandé à notre agence de voyage (Trip Central) s'il y avait des travaux, des dommages, etc. dus au récent ouragan et on m'a dit que tout allait bien - je suis déçue que TC n'ait pas été plus informée et ne nous ait pas fait part de l'état des lieux... Je réserve des voyages par l'intermédiaire de TC depuis de nombreuses années et je suis maintenant un peu sceptique à l'idée d'aller de l'avant...

Disappointing!! For starters, this was our 4Th time at this resort - I was very disappointed to learn that two of the top restaurants (Brazilian & Japanese) were under construction - With that being said, this is a stay at one and play at three resort, however both the Punta Cana and Bavaro lobbies were closed and under construction as well... There was a lot of construction throughout the resort from beach work to grounds work - Our room was on the ground floor facing the beach - The second day a crew started digging a trench right outside of our room and this went on the entire stay so needless to say there was not much privacy or enjoyment sitting outside on the little room patio.. Restaurants - The first come, first serve was very frustrating with the above two restaurants being closed - The Royal Turquesa guests have the privilege to make reservations in advance - This made for extremely long waiting times for those staying at any of the other three properties. I had asked our travel agency (Trip Central) about any resort construction, damage, etc due to the recent hurricane or other and were told all was fine - I am disappointed with TC for not being more informed and letting us know of the resort conditions...I have been booking trips through TC for many years and now a little skeptical moving forward..

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: Paradis terrestre

C'est le plus bel endroit que j'aie jamais vu. Le personnel se surpasse pour faire en sorte que votre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. Ils sont gentils, serviables et toujours souriants. Un grand merci à Katherine, chargée des relations publiques, à Fabiola, chargée des services aux clients, à Iris, Billy et Carlos, chargés du buffet, et enfin à nos majordomes Yonattan et Hernandez, qui nous ont traités comme des rois. Paradise on land The most beautiful place I've ever seen. The staff go over and beyond to make sure your stay is all it can be. Kind, helpful and always smiling. A big thank you to Katherine in public relations Fabiola in guest services and Iris, Billy and Carlos from the buffet and last but not least our butlers Yonattan and Hernandez who treated us like royalty. A must see resort. Will definitely be returning.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Vacances avec mes adolescents...

L'hôtel était clairement un 5 étoiles. Le personnel et les espaces communs étaient luxueux. Le représentant d'Air Canada (Aldo) était très accessible. L'agent de Tripcentral (Jack) a été d'une grande aide. Air Canada Rouge a également été une expérience de qualité. J'ai apprécié de ne pas avoir à payer la taxe d'entrée/sortie.

Vacation with my teenagers... Hotel was clearly a 5-Star. Staff and common area was luxury. Air Canada representative (Aldo) was very approachable. Tripcentral agent (Jack) was helpful. Air Canada Rouge was also a quality experience. Appreciated not having to pay the entry/exit tax.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Déçu

Cet hôtel a été une déception par rapport au Now Jade Mexico. La nourriture était froide au mieux et tous les plats de viande étaient incapables de mâcher. Notre chambre au 3ème étage sentait le renfermé en permanence. Le personnel était juste moyen.

Disappointed This hotel was a disappointment from the Now Jade Mexico. The food was cold at best and all meat dishes were unable to chew. Our room on the 3rd floor bedding smelt musty all the time. The staff was just average.

Riu Palace Punta Cana: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

C'est l'un des meilleurs complexes hôteliers que j'ai visité à Punta Cana. Le complexe est très bien aménagé pour un complexe compact. La nourriture était excellente avec une très bonne variété tous les soirs. Le service était de loin le meilleur service que j'ai jamais eu dans n'importe quel autre complexe hôtelier que j'ai visité. Le personnel était très amical et a fait tout son possible pour que tout le monde soit heureux. Le terrain était très propre. Amazing Resort This is one of the best resorts I've been too in Punta Cana the resort is very well layed out for a compact resort .The food was excellent with a very good variety every night.The service was by far the best service i have ever had on any other resort I've been too .The staff was very friendly and went out of their way too make everyone happy. The grounds were very clean . Entertainment was very good Rooms were very clean and every thing worked well beach was very nice lots of beach loungers

Riu Republica: Excellent centre de villégiature !

Mon mari et moi sommes rentrés de Punta Cana vendredi après un séjour de 7 jours. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très satisfaits du Riu Republica. L'hôtel était de taille décente et très bien entretenu. Les chambres étaient super propres et entretenues tous les jours. La nourriture et les boissons étaient également bonnes. Le personnel était très sympathique et l'équipe de divertissement a fait un excellent travail. La plage était magnifique et très propre. Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet hô [... lire plus]tel ! :)

Great resort! My husband and I returned from Punta Cana on Friday after a 7 day stay. Overall we were very pleased with Riu Republica. The hotel was a decent size and very well kept. Rooms were super clean and maintained everyday. The food.and drinks were also good. Staff was very friendly and the entertainment crew did a great job. The beach was beautiful and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel! :)

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Nous avons adoré notre séjour

Notre objectif était de passer un séjour sûr et relaxant et de profiter de bonnes promenades sur la plage, de l'océan, de la baignade et de manger beaucoup de légumes et de fruits. Je voyage avec un déambulateur et j'ai trouvé que le complexe était facile à gérer. J'ai pu accéder aux chariots si nécessaire, mais j'ai trouvé que toutes les zones m'étaient accessibles, à l'exception de la zone de la piscine intérieure, car il y avait des escaliers à monter et à descendre, mais le bar était accessi [... lire plus]ble par la piscine. Le bâtiment principal abrite le bar du hall d'entrée, la scène de divertissement, un café avec d'excellents cafés à base d'expresso, des thés, des friandises et des sandwichs au thé, un glacier et un magasin de hamburgers. Nous avions l'impression d'entrer dans des petits cafés et des boutiques, mais comme il s'agit d'une formule tout compris, il n'est pas nécessaire de dépenser de l'argent, il suffit de s'asseoir et de profiter de l'atmosphère. Nous avons apprécié le Spice et le Mecure. Le petit déjeuner du matin était servi au buffet, un bar à jus proposait des smoothies et des jus mélangés à partir d'une bonne variété de fruits et de légumes, des expressos frais et du café ordinaire étaient disponibles. Le Barefoot Grill proposait un excellent poulet rôti et parfois du poulet frit, ainsi que des hamburgers, des salades, des fruits, des frites, du chili, des tacos et du fromage. Ernesto était notre lien privilégié au grill de la plage, il s'assurait que nous recevions des boissons, il nous accueillait toujours avec un grand sourire et des manières attentionnées. Ces vacances étaient un temps de guérison bien nécessaire et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Le personnel était attentif, avec une mention spéciale pour Olivia Concierge, Lissa Front Lobby Ambassedor, Aris et Zorrilo Butlers qui ont gardé un œil sur nous. Les chambres offrent des lits confortables, des draps douillets. Le balcon est spacieux, exempt d'insectes et dispose d'un jaccuzi amusant, qu'il suffit de remplir jusqu'aux jets. Le terrain est bien entretenu et joliment aménagé. Nous avions besoin de nous détendre et de nous sentir en sécurité et c'est ce que nous avons obtenu. Nous cherchons déjà à réserver un autre séjour.

Loved our stay I found this resort to be an easy one to get around and the set up was nicely done, Our purpose was to have a safe, relaxing stay and to enjoy good walks on the beach, ocean time, swim time and eat lots of veges and fruits. I travel with a walker and found it to be an easy resort to manouver. I was able to access the carts as needed however found that all areas were accessible to me with the exception of the inner pool area via land as there were stairs to climb and decend however the bar was accessible via the pool so parking the walker near the lazy river and getting in a good walk in the water was attainable with ease. The main building housed the front lobby bar, the entertainment stage, a cafe with great freshly made espresso based coffees, teas, and a sweets, tea sandwich cooler, an ice cream parlour, and a Burger shop. It felt like we were going into little cafes, shops however this being all inclusive no money required just pop in sit back and enjoy the atmosphere.The dining area was similar in that is felt like little restaurants. We enjoyed the Spice as well as the Mecure. The morning breakfast was served at the buffet, a juice bar offered smoothies and blended juices from a good variety of fruits and veges, fresh espresso and regular coffee was available. The Barefoot Grill offered awesome roast chicken and at times fried chicken as well as hamburgers, salads, fruits, fries, chili, taco chips and cheese. Ernesto was our special connection at the beach grill he ensured we got beverages, always greeting us with a big smile and caring ways. This vacation was a much needed healing time and we were not disappointed. The staff were attentive, supportive special mention to Olivia Concierge, Lissa Front Lobby Ambassedor, Aris and Zorrilo Butlers who kept an eye out on us. The rooms offer comfy beds, cozy linens. The balcony spacious, bug free with a fun jaccuzi just need to ensure you fill it up past the jets. The grounds are well kept and nicely laid out. We needed to be able to relax and feel safe and we got that. We are already looking at how we can book another stay.

Riu Republica: Une lune de miel fabuleuse !

Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour notre lune de miel. Nous sommes un couple d'âge mûr et nous n'étions pas très convaincus par le fait que l'hôtel soit réservé aux adultes, mais c'était génial ! Les piscines se trouvent entre l'hôtel et la plage et sont disposées de la façon suivante : piscine de fête (avec bar sur la droite), piscine tranquille sur la gauche (avec un autre bar) et piscine d'action moyenne et bruyante au milieu. Le choix est parfait ! L'équipe d'animation est excellente !  [... lire plus] La nourriture est également très variée. Tout est beau et le goût est généralement bon. Il y a toujours beaucoup à manger ! Le steak house est bon, la première fois pas très bon, la deuxième fois incroyable ! Le restaurant italien était correct, mais j'ai franchement préféré le buffet. Nous n'avons pas essayé les restaurants japonais ou les restaurants raffinés, mais c'était bien d'avoir la possibilité d'entrer dans n'importe quel restaurant à la carte sans avoir besoin de réserver. Notre chambre était superbe, très propre, moderne et le lit était très confortable. Nous étions dans l'aile centrale, face à l'océan, au troisième étage. La vue était incroyable ! La plage était incomparable. Le meilleur sable jamais vu, pas de rochers, pas de coquillages, bien que l'eau soit parfois trop agitée pour être sur les kayaks etc....e complexe est sur l'océan Atlantique et non sur la mer des Caraïbes, l'eau est très chaude cependant. La plage est l'endroit idéal pour les amateurs de bronzage et les romantiques. La nouvelle partie de l'hôtel n'était pas encore ouverte mais les chuchotements disaient que c'était pour la fin du mois de novembre. C'est superbe ! Le meilleur atout de cet hôtel est son personnel. Nous n'avons pas eu la chambre que nous attendions à notre arrivée et j'étais très contrariée. Victor, à la réception, a vraiment fait des pieds et des mains pour arranger les choses le lendemain. Les serveurs sont des personnes très sympathiques et joyeuses qui semblent toujours travailler dur. Et encore une fois, l'équipe de divertissement est extraordinaire... Oui, assurez-vous de voir le spectacle de Michael Jackson du mardi soir, et restez jusqu'à la fin, c'est le meilleur moment ! Une mention spéciale pour "sexy coffee" qui s'occupe de tous les divertissements à la piscine silencieuse, il est hilarant et si charmant ! J'ai hâte de revenir ! Nous séjournerons certainement au Ruis à l'avenir et nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ici !

Fabulous honeymoon! We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. We are a mature couple and weren't too sure about the adults only, but it was great! The pools are between the hotel and the beach and are laid out from party pool (with bar on the right), to a quiet pool on the left (with another swim up bar), and a medium action/noise pool in the middle. You have a perfect choice! The entertainment staff is excellent! There is also a wide variety of food. All looks great and taste is usually also good. There is always lots to eat! The steak house is good, first time not so great , second time amazing! The Italian was, ok but I honestly preferred the buffet. We didn't try the Japanese or the fine dining, But it was nice to have the option to just walk into any a la carte without needing a reservation. Our room was great very clean, modern and the bed was very comfortable. We were in the middle wing, ocean front, third floor. The view was amazing! The beach was unparalleled. The best sand ever, no rocks, no shells, although the water is sometimes too rough to be on the kayaks etc....the resort is on the Atlantic Ocean not on the Caribbean Sea, the water is very warm though. The beach is definitely the place to be for sunbathers and romantics. The new part of the hotel wasn't yet open but the whispers were saying by the end of November. It looks great! The best thing about this hotel is the staff. We didn't have the room we had expected when we arrived and I was quite upset. Victor at the front desk really went out of his way and made it right the next day. The servers are very friendly, happy people who seem to always be working hard. And AGAIN the entertainment staff are amazing...yes make sure you see the Tuesday night Michael Jackson show, and stay to the end, it's the best part! Special shout out to "sexy coffee" who runs all the entertainment at the quiet pool, he is hilarious and so charming! Can't wait to return!! Will definitely stay at Ruis in the future and will definitely be back here!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Belle station balnéaire

Le Grand Bahia est un très beau complexe hôtelier. Le terrain est impeccable, les chambres sont très belles et la nourriture est excellente. Le personnel a été d'une grande aide lorsque nous avons eu besoin d'un médecin et aussi pour appeler notre compagnie d'assurance au Canada. La plage a été notre préférée. Oui, il y avait des algues, mais ils ratissaient constamment. Le seul problème que nous ayons eu, c'est que lorsque nous sommes descendus plus tôt pour prendre deux chaises, nous les avons [... lire plus] marquées avec deux vieux tee-shirts. Lorsque nous y sommes retournés une heure plus tard, ils avaient disparu.

Beautiful resort Grand Bahia is a beautiful resort. The ground are immaculate, the rooms are very nice and the food was excellent. The staff were a great help when we needed the doctor and also with calling back to Canada to our insurance company. The beach was our favourite. Yes there was seaweed but they were raking constantly. Only issue we had was when we went down early to get 2 chairs we marked them with 2 old tee shirts. When we went back a hour later they were gone.

Riu Republica: Beaucoup d'espace pour grandir

Ce nouveau RIU est similaire aux autres en termes de qualité de service et de nourriture. Ma chambre avec vue sur le jardin était en fait une vue sur un chantier de construction. Les coups de marteau-piqueur réguliers près du hall d'entrée ont été une source de mécontentement. Le buffet était décent et les restaurants à la carte étaient aléatoires. La plage était magnifique, mais il faut savoir que l'eau est agitée. Notre téléphone a dû être réparé trois fois et notre coffre-fort avait besoin d' [... lire plus]être réparé. Beaucoup de petites fourmis dans notre chambre d'hôtel. Les taxis gratuits pour se rendre dans les magasins étaient agréables. Les employés de l'hôtel ont toujours été gentils et aimables malgré le fait qu'ils aient une connaissance limitée de l'anglais. Obeide à la réception était un délice. Dans l'ensemble, l'hôtel est plutôt un quatre étoiles. Si vous voulez simplement échapper au stress de la vie et profiter d'une pause, ce complexe hôtelier présente un bon rapport qualité-prix - j'ai payé environ 1200 euros.

Lots of room to grow This new RIU is similar to the others in terms of quality of service and food. My gardenview room was really a view of a construction site. Regular jackhammering near the lobby was a turn off. The buffet was decent and the a la carte restaurants were hit and miss. The beach was beautiful - keep in mind that the water is rough. Our phone had to be repaired three times and our safe needed fixing. Lots of small ants in our hotel room. Free taxis to shopping was nice. Hotel employees were always kind and good natured despite the fact that they have limited knowledge of English. Obeide at the front desk was a delight. Overall the hotel is more of a four star. If you simply want to get away from your stress in life and enjoy a break this resort is good value for money - I paid about 1200.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: J'adore :)

C'est la première fois que je viens en République Dominicaine, j'aurais pu choisir n'importe quel complexe et j'ai toujours fait mes recherches, j'ai entendu dire que le Grand Bahia Principe était un excellent complexe... c'était vrai ! Un excellent choix pour les débutants, beaucoup de choses à voir et à faire ! Nous y retournerons l'été prochain ! A bientôt ! Merci pour votre hospitalité :)

Love it :) First time in Dominican Republic, I could chose any resort and I always do my research, hearing that the Grand Bahia Principe was an excellent resort to be... it was true!
