CONTENT, SATISFIED, WILL RETURN THE HOTEL HAS OVER 800 ROOMS ON 5 FLOORS. THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN ANS SPACIOUS. THE GROUNDS WERE WELL TAKEN CARE. THERE WERE 4 RESTAURANTS APART THE LARGE AND SMALL BUFFET STYLE DINING ROOMS . THE SNACK BAR ON THE BEACH WAS HEAVENLY.OUT OF THE 4 ( NON BUFFET ) RESTAURANTS CONSIDERING QUALITY OF FOOD AND SERVICE 1 RATED (A) 2 RATED (B) AND 1 RATED (C) THE LARGE BUFFET DINING ROOM IS LIKE ALL OTHER RESORTS A ZOO PEOPLE OVER DISHING THEIR PLATES A LARGE SELECTION OF FOOD TO MATCH ALL PALATES AND OBVIOUSLY VERY NOISY.HOWEVER, THE SMALLER DINNING ROOM ONLY FOR ADULTS WAS MUCH BETTER AND SLIGHTLY HIGHER QUALITY AND BETTER SERVICE. THE BEACH SUITED US PERFECTLY. NO WAVES, YOU CAN WALK A LONG DISTANCE IN THE WATER BEFORE IT REACHES YOUR NECK. WARM, CLEAN YOU CAN SEE THE SAND PLENTY OF BEACH CHAIRS PLENTY OF SHADE BUT DO NOT EXPECT TO WALK ON THE SAND FOR HOURS TO COME. IT IS SMALL.AROUND 15 MINUTES EACH WAY FROM ONE END TO THE OTHER.THE BEACH WAS IDEAL FOR TODDLERS. THE SWIMMING POOL WAS LARGE AND COMFORTABLE. BARS ALL OVER WHICH MADE IT SIMPLE TO HAVE A DRINK. THERE WAS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE FOR ALL PREMIUM WHISKY AND OTHER ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES BUT VERY REASONABLE. BUT, THE WINES IN THE DINING ROOM OTHER THAN THE HOUSE WINE SOME WERE OVER PRICED. ALL TIPS WERE APPRECIATED YES THERE WERE A FEW INCIDENTALS WHERE WE HAD TO CALL HOUSEKEEPING BUT IT IS EXPECTED WITH SUCH A LARGE RESORT. DEFINITELY THEY NEED A NEW ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER. DURING 4-8 PM WHERE PEOPLE GATHER AROUND THE LOUNGE TO HAVE A DRINK EITHER THERE WAS NO MUSIC AND IF THERE WAS IT WAS BAD. THE 4 RESTAURANTS THEY CAN EASILY HAVE A PERSON WITH A GUITAR OR A VIOLIN GOING AROUND THE TABLES TO SET THE ROMANTIC MOOD WITH THE SUNSET. AS FOR THE EVENING ENTERTAINMENT, THEY ARE 20 YEARS BEHIND TIMES. ONE UNFORTUNATE INCIDENTS WHICH I FOUND VERY POOR REACTION IN BEHALF OF MANAGEMENT. MY WIFE HAD AN UNFORTUNATE AND SEVERE FALL IN A DINING ROOM HITTING HER HEAD ON THE MARBLE FLOOR VERY HARD( THE FLOOR WAS SLIPPERY BECAUSE OF OIL ). THE IMMEDIATE RESPONSE BY THE STAFF OF THE DINING ROOM WAS AMAZING THEY SUPPLIED ICE AND EVEN BROUGHT A WHEEL CHAIR AND EVEN WANTED TO CALL A NURSE AFTER FIFTEEN MINUTES WE LEFT . BUT, WE HAD NO RESPONSE FROM THE MANAGEMENT THE FOLLOWING DAY TO FIND OUT IF EVERYTHING WAS FINE. VERY DISAPPOINTED MY SECOND DISMAY WAS THE COST OF A MASSAGE 120 DOLLARS FOR 50 MINUTES. I WILL BE CRITICAL; MY ARGUMENT IS: MINIMUM WAGE IN MONTREAL IS $10.10 AN HOUR AND WE PAY AROUND $75 .FOR ONE HOUR MASSAGE. IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE. HAD IT BEEN $50 BOTH MY WIFE AND I WOULD HAVE HAD 2 HOURS EACH. THAT IS $200 REVENUE FOR THE HOTEL VERSUS 0. I CHECKED THE RATES FOR FEBRUARY I FOUND IT OVERLY PRICED. Bahia Principe Punta Cana était un excellent complexe hôtelier, les gens étaient extrêmement sympathiques, les suites étaient grandes, les plages magnifiques étaient accessibles à pied, le vol était bon, la nourriture était excellente sauf qu'ils utilisaient trop de sel pour moi, ce qui m'a fait gonfler les pieds et les jambes et m'a mis mal à l'aise. J'y retournerais quand même.

Great Vacation Bahia Principe Punta Cana was a great resort, the people were extremely friendly, large suites, walking distance to the wonderful beaches, good flight, great food except they use too much salt for me which resulted in swollen feet and legs making it uncomfortable for me. I still would go back.

Ma femme et moi sommes allés à Bad il y a une semaine et c'était l'un des meilleurs centres de villégiature que nous ayons visités, c'était notre première fois en Jamaïque et nous avons adoré chaque minute, le personnel était amical et c'était encore mieux quand ils parlaient très bien anglais, pas comme en Dominique où nous avons passé la plupart de nos vacances, ils vous comprenaient très bien, nous sommes impatients d'aller à Bad avec le reste de notre famille l'année prochaine

Amazing resort My wife and I just got bad a week ago and was one of he best resorts we been too , this was our 1st time in Jamaica and loved every minute of it, the staff were friendly and was even more better when they spoke English very well, not like in Dominican where we spent most of our vacation they did understand you has well, we can't wait to go bad with the rest of our family next year

Fantastic! Hotel was great! People were great! Food was great- Lots of variety! Beach was warm, the pool was warm,the sun was warm! Our room was great! View of the beach from balcony. Grounds were spotless. Lots of nightly entertainment.

Le terrain était propre, le personnel était exceptionnellement serviable ! Paula, au service clientèle, a fait d'excellentes recommandations qui ont contribué à améliorer notre voyage. La nourriture était bien meilleure que prévu et tout le personnel était positif. Les chambres étaient très spacieuses et confortables. Moi et mon petit ami n'avons eu aucun problème pendant notre voyage, il n'aurait pas pu être plus parfait même s'il y avait une grande tempête qui est venu sur est tout le personne [... lire plus]l a été utile pour faire tous les invités se sentent à l'aise dans une situation autrement effrayante.

It was the perfect vacation! The grounds were clean, the staff was exceptionally helpful! Paula at the guest service had great recommendations which helped make out trip better. The food was much better than expected and all the staff was positive. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. Me and my boyfriend never had any problems on our trip, it couldn't have been more perfect even though there was a major storm that came upon is all the staff were helpful in making all the guests feel comfortable in an otherwise scary situation.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Paradis

C'est la première fois que je viens dans ce complexe et je n'ai que de bonnes choses à dire sur notre voyage. L'emplacement est parfait, l'hôtel est fantastique, la nourriture et les cocktails sont incroyables et le service est exceptionnel. Le paradis à l'état pur pour tous ceux qui recherchent une retraite luxueuse et paisible.

Paradise First time visit to this resort and have nothing but good things to say about our trip. The location is perfect, the hotel is fantastic, food and cocktails are amazing but the service is outstanding. Pure paradise for anyone who is looking for luxurious and peaceful retreat.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Un centre de villégiature charmant et des employés très agréables !

Le terrain était très bien entretenu, de même que les parties communes. Les salles à manger étaient également très propres. La nourriture était meilleure que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Cependant, la douche de notre chambre d'hôtel ne s'écoulait pas correctement. Mais dans l'ensemble, je reviendrai à l'Ambar !

Lovely Resort and very pleasant workers!! Grounds were very well kept as well as public areas. Dining Rooms were very clean as well. Food was better than I was expecting. However, our hotel room shower would not drain properly. But all in all I would return to the Ambar!!!

Les chambres étaient moyennes, les salles de bains n'étaient pas géniales. Il n'y avait pas d'eau courante un jour, les douches fuyaient....definately need some renovations. Les tapis des couloirs sentaient mauvais. Lorsque j'ai parlé à la réception pour changer de section, elle m'a dit que les enfants n'étaient pas autorisés dans la nouvelle section, et que c'était donc le seul endroit disponible pour ma famille. Je regrette de ne pas l'avoir su au moment de la réservation, car j'aurais choisi  [... lire plus]un autre établissement. Les animations nocturnes étaient assez ennuyeuses (les spectacles d'avant-soirée étaient plus divertissants). Les animateurs de la piscine étaient formidables et la nourriture était excellente. Dans l'ensemble, un centre de villégiature moyen.

Average Resort Rooms were average, bathrooms were not the greatest. Did not have running water one day, showers leaked....definately needed some renovations. Hallway carpets smelled horrible. When I spoke to front desk about moving to the newer section, she told me that children were not allowed in the new section, so that was the only location available to my family. I wish I new this upon booking, because I would have chose an alternate resort. Nightly entertainment as quite boring (pre shows were more entertaining). Pool entertainers were great and food was great. Overall, an average resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Bon rapport qualité/prix

Nous avons visité l'hôtel du 19 au 26 septembre par l'intermédiaire d'Air Transat et avons eu accès au Royal Golden Club. C'était notre deuxième visite. La première fois, c'était la première année d'ouverture de l'hôtel sans les enfants et nous avons passé un excellent moment. L'hôtel semble être devenu plus accueillant pour les familles et nous avons donc décidé de revenir ici avec nos enfants (5 et 1) plutôt que d'essayer un autre endroit. Nous avons réservé à la dernière minute et avons bénéf [... lire plus]icié d'une excellente offre. C'était un excellent rapport qualité-prix pour ce que nous avons payé. Le transfert vers l'hôtel était direct - pas d'arrêt autre que les hôtels reliés au complexe. Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel vers 11 heures et les chambres n'étaient pas prêtes avant 15 heures. Nous nous y attendions et avons mis nos maillots de bain dans nos bagages. Nous nous sommes enregistrés, avons déjeuné, pris des serviettes et sommes allés au parc aquatique pour quelques heures. Nous avons envoyé un courriel à l'avance pour demander une chambre au troisième étage avec deux lits. Nous avons obtenu une chambre au deuxième étage dans la villa 28B, ce qui était très bien. Je n'avais pas réalisé que le canapé se transformait en lit et qu'ils avaient apporté un parc pour que le bébé puisse y dormir, ce qui signifie que nous n'avions plus besoin des deux lits. Ils sont un peu plus petits qu'un lit double et ne sont pas confortables pour deux adultes. Il a fallu deux jours pour qu'ils viennent remettre le lit en position "king" parce qu'il n'y avait pas de sur-matelas disponible. Ce n'est pas grave, mais à chaque fois que j'ai appelé à ce sujet (environ 4 fois), ils m'ont dit que quelqu'un allait bientôt venir, mais ce n'était pas le cas. La chambre était très bien. Beaucoup d'espace pour une famille de quatre personnes. Balcons solides en béton aux deuxième et troisième niveaux pour que les enfants puissent jouer dehors sans risquer de perdre leurs jouets. La façon dont la douche était installée faisait que l'eau finissait parfois sur le sol. L'endroit où était placé le miroir de maquillage était un peu sombre. Nous avons réservé ce voyage à la dernière minute et n'avons pas pu faire nos réservations de restaurant à l'avance, ce qui nous a donné du fil à retordre pour entrer dans les restaurants de notre choix, d'autant plus que nous ne voulions que les premières places. Nous avons fini par entrer au Frutos Del Mar, au japonais, au gourmet de Tulum et au Mediterranean. La première fois que nous y sommes allés, le japonais n'était pas disponible du tout pendant que nous y étions, le troisième jour une place s'est libérée. Le Brésilien n'était pas disponible du tout pendant que nous y étions. Le restaurant gastronomique de Tulum a été notre préféré. Je pense que la variété de la nourriture disponible pourrait être améliorée au buffet de Coba. Oui, vous pouvez vous rendre dans d'autres restaurants qui proposent d'autres options. Certaines des soirées à thème n'ont pas vraiment fonctionné - la soirée canadienne - on a fait des queues de castor et la soirée américaine avait des beignets comme dessert. La soirée mexicaine et les soirées de gala étaient bonnes. Je commençais à en avoir assez le dernier jour. Nous avons pris quelques déjeuners à Akumal et à Tulum en fonction de l'endroit où nous nous trouvions ce jour-là. Akumal avait des crevettes à la noix de coco à plusieurs reprises, ce que je n'ai jamais vu à Coba. Le service aurait pu être un peu plus attentif au buffet. Il y avait parfois de l'attente pour un café ou une boisson. Ce n'est pas un problème, surtout pour le prix. A la fin de la semaine, ils ont fait des sondages chaque soir et les choses se sont améliorées. Les boissons étaient fortes. Je n'avais pas l'impression de boire quelque chose d'édulcoré. Les barmans du Golden Club étaient nos préférés. Nous prenions généralement un café espagnol dans le hall chaque soir. Nous étions à proximité du Golden Lobby, ce qui était pratique pour l'un d'entre nous pour aller boire un verre une fois les enfants couchés. Nous avons assisté au spectacle des dauphins. Il dure 15 minutes. J'étais contente qu'il soit gratuit. Mon fils de 5 ans s'est beaucoup amusé au club pour enfants. Lorsque nous comparons nos journées, il en a toujours fait plus que nous - jeux olympiques sur la plage, visite du parc aquatique ou de la plage, plantation d'arbres sur la plage, décoration de t-shirts, fabrication de bracelets, visionnage de films, etc. Ils les ont également emmenés déjeuner. Nous avons croisé le groupe à plusieurs reprises et les soignants faisaient vraiment du bon travail. Des activités étaient également organisées le soir à 20 heures pour les enfants : défilé, spectacle, disco, maquillage et ballons. De temps en temps, il y avait des gens déguisés au buffet. Un jour où il pleuvait, il y avait un DJ et des gens déguisés dans le hall pour divertir les enfants. Ils ont adoré le parc aquatique. Nous y avons passé plus de temps que prévu. Il y a toujours quelqu'un pour le surveiller. Ils l'ont fermé un jour où un bébé a fait un #2 dans le parc. Il y a également deux piscines pour enfants. Il y a des cours de yoga gratuits au Tao à 8 heures du matin chaque jour sur la propriété du complexe, en plus de la salle de sport et des offres dans les hôtels. Nous aimons les grands complexes hôteliers avec des villas et marcher un peu pour accéder à certaines choses. C'est un bon moyen d'éliminer la nourriture. Le terrain et le jardin étaient magnifiques. Nous savions que l'hôtel n'était pas situé sur la plage. Nous n'avons eu aucun problème à marcher les 10 minutes avec la poussette ou à prendre le chariot si nécessaire. La plage est immense. La zone de Coba était la plus belle mais il y avait des rochers. La zone d'Akumal avait plus de choses de la mer mais était peu profonde sur une plus longue distance. La plage est très accueillante pour les enfants et les non-nageurs. Dans l'ensemble, ce fut un voyage très relaxant. Nous essayerons une autre partie de la Mayan Riveria si nous y retournons, mais nous recommandons cet hôtel, surtout si vous bénéficiez d'une bonne affaire !

Good value We visited September 19-26 through Air Transat with access to the Royal Golden Club. This was our second visit. The first time was in the first year it had opened without kids and we had a great time. The hotel seems to have become more family friendly so we decided to come here again with our kids (5 & 1) rather than try out another place. We booked last minute and got an excellent deal. It was excellent value for what we paid. The transfer to the hotel was direct- no stops other than the hotels connected with the resort. We got to the hotel around 11 and rooms were not ready until 3pm. We expected this and packed our swim suits in our carry ons. We checked in, had some lunch got some towels and headed to the water park for a few hours. We did email ahead of time and ask for a third floor room with two beds. We got a second floor room in villa 28B which was fine. I didn't realize the sofa turned into a bed and they had brought a play pen for the baby to sleep in which meant we no longer needed the two beds. They're a little smaller than a double and not comfortable for two adults IMO. It took two days for them to come and switch it back to a king because a mattress topper wasn't available. Not a big deal, except every time I called about it (about 4 times) they would say someone was coming soon but they really weren't. The room was fine. Lots of space for a family of four. Concrete solid balconies on the second and third levels so the kids can play out there without working about loosing any toys. The way the shower was set up, water ended up on the floor sometimes. The spot where the make up mirror was placed was a bit dim. We booked this trip last minute and did not get to make our restaurant reservations in advanced and getting into our choice of restaurants was tough- especially since we only wanted earlier seatings. We ended up getting into the Frutos Del Mar, the japanese, the gourmet in tulum and the Mediterranean. The first time we went the Japanese was not available at all while we were there, on the third day a spot opened up. The Brazilian was not available at all while we were there. The gourmet restaurant in Tulum was our favourite. I think think the variety of food available could use some work in the Coba buffet. Yes, you can visit other restaurants which do have other options. Some of the theme nights didn't quite work- canadian night- there were beaver tails made and american night had doughnuts for dessert. Mexican night and the gala nights were good. I was getting tired of it by the last day. We had a few lunches and Akumal and Tulum depending on where we were that day. Akumal had coconut shrimp a few times which I never saw at Coba. The service could have been a bit more attentive in the buffet. Sometimes there was a wait for coffee/drinks. Not a deal breaker- especially for the price. By the end of the week they were doing surveys each night at things picked up. The drinks were strong. Didn't feel like I was drinking anything watered down. The bartenders in the golden club were our favourite. We usually had a spanish coffee in the lobby each evening. We were close to the Golden Lobby which was convenient for one of us to head to for drinks once the kids were in bed. We watched the dolphin show. It's 15 minutes. I was happy it was free. My 5 year old had a great time at the kids club. When we compared our days he always did more than us- olympic games on the beach, visiting the water park or beach planting trees on the beach, decorated t-shirts, making bracelets, watched movies etc. They also took them to lunch. We ran into the group a few times and the caregivers were definitely doing a good job. They also had evening activities at 8 for the kids- a parade, show, disco, face painting and balloons. Occasionally there were people dressed up in the buffet. One day when it rained they had a DJ and people dressed up in the lobby to keep kids entertained. They loved the waterpark. We spent more time there that I thought we would. There is always someone supervising it. They shut it down one day when a baby #2'd in the park. There are also a couple of kids swimming pools. There are free yoga classes at Tao at 8 am each day on the resort property in addition the gym and offerings at the hotels. We like big resorts with villas and walking for a bit to get to things. It's a good way to work off the food. The grounds and garden were lovely. We knew it's not right on the beach. We had no issues walking the 10 minutes with the stroller or taking the trolley if needed. The beach is huge. The coba area was the nicest but had some rocks. The Akumal area had more stuff from the sea but was shallow for a longer stretch. The beach is very kid/non swimmer friendly. Overall it was a very relaxing trip. We will try another part of the mayan riveria if we go here again but would recommend this hotel- especially if you get a good deal!

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Superbe hôtel pour adultes seulement

Nous avons passé des vacances relaxantes au luxueux Bahia Principe Ambar. Le terrain est magnifiquement entretenu. Les chambres sont spacieuses, les lits confortables, nous avons beaucoup apprécié le jacuzzi. Tout est facilement accessible à pied, c'est-à-dire du hall d'entrée à la chambre, à la piscine et à la plage. Excellent service de bar au bord de la piscine et sur la plage. Le service en chambre était rapide mais limité. Nous avons apprécié 4 cartes à la carte, mais nous avons trouvé le b [... lire plus]uffet exceptionnel. Vous ne pouvez pas vous tromper avec ce complexe extraordinaire. Nous cherchons déjà à réserver l'Ambar pour janvier. C'est devenu notre lieu de villégiature préféré.

Great Adults Only Resort We enjoyed a relaxing vacation at Luxury Bahia Principe Ambar. The grounds are beautifully kept. The rooms are spacious, bed comfy, really enjoyed the Jacuzzi. Everything is within easy walking distance. ie from lobby to room to pool to beach. Great bar service by the pool and on the beach. Room service was prompt but limited. We enjoyed 4 a la cartes, but found the buffet food outstanding. You can't go wrong with this amazing resort. We are already looking to book The Ambar for January. This has become our favourite vacation resort.

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Tellement beau !

Nous avons séjourné du 4 au 11 octobre et avons tout apprécié. L'emplacement est excellent - si proche des ruines de Tulum, de X-El Ha, de la plage d'Akumal et de Playa Del Carmen que vous pouvez prendre les transports en commun ! Le complexe est très propre et bien entretenu et tout le personnel est amical et désireux de faire plaisir sans avoir l'air de pêcher des pourboires. Soooooo Nice! We stayed from Oct 4-11 and enjoyed everything about it. Location is excellent - so close to Tulum Ruins, X-El Ha, Akumal Beach, and Playa Del Carmen that you can take public transport! The resort is very clean and well maintained and all of the staff friendly and eager to please without appearing as though their fishing for tips. Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire, rien de moins qu'AWESOME !!!

Ce complexe était extraordinaire pour tous les âges, de nos enfants qui ont adoré le parc aquatique, les spectacles et les personnages, à nous qui avons profité des piscines, de l'océan, de la plage bien entretenue et des divertissements ! Le terrain et l'hôtel étaient très bien entretenus et propres en permanence. La nourriture était bonne avec un grand choix. Les plats à la carte étaient également excellents. Le personnel s'est surpassé pour vous rendre heureux et ce voyage valait vraiment la  [... lire plus]peine d'être fait et ce centre de villégiature est à marquer d'une pierre blanche !

Amazing resort nothing short of AWESOME!!! This resort was amazing for all ages from our children who loved the waterpark, shows and characters, to ourselves enjoying the pools, ocean and well-kept beach and entertainment! Grounds and hotel were very well kept and clean at all times. Food was good with a great selection. A la cartes were great as well. Staff went over and above to make you happy and this trip was definitely worth the money and this resort was one for the memory books!

Bahia Principe Explore Coba: Magnifique centre de villégiature !

Nous avons visité ce resort en septembre, il faisait chaud, les plages sont magnifiques, l'eau est cristalline, vous pouvez voir tous les poissons nager à côté de vous.la nourriture était excellente et abondante dans le buffet.le resort est très grand, nous avons apprécié de nous promener dans les beaux environs tous les soirs après le dîner.nous avons visité les 3 resorts et ils sont tous magnifiques, très propres, les gens sont très sympathiques, les services sont exceptionnels.

Beautiful resort! We visited this resort in September, weather was hot ,beaches are beautiful, water crystal clear,you can see all the fishes swimming next to you.Food was excellent and plenty in buffet .Resort is very big,we enjoy walking in beautiful surroundings every evening after supper,we visit all 3 resorts and they all beautiful , very clean,people very friendly, services were outstanding.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Belle plage

Je suis allée dans cet hôtel avec 2 de mes filles adultes car nous recherchions une semaine de repos et de détente : l'objectif a été atteint ! La propriété est très propre et la plage est facilement accessible. Nous avons fait une longue promenade un jour et nous avons beaucoup apprécié. La nourriture était bonne et je recommande l'Orquidea.

Beautiful beach I went to this hotel with 2 of my adults daughters as we were looking for a week of rest and relaxation: the objective was attained ! The property is very clean and the beach is easily accessible. We took a long walk one day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was fine and I would recommend the Orquidea.

We had a very beautiful experience, The food was ok, the rooms and décor was very good and our overall experience was amazing.Only one staff member looked kind of mad but our Airport experience going out of Punta Cana was horable. nous avons passé un excellent séjour, tout était merveilleux - la seule chose que je peux commenter est la distance entre l'aéroport et le centre de villégiature - c'est assez long. l'eau était très claire, l'hôtel et le terrain très propres, le personnel amical et serviable. La nourriture et le service étaient excellents.

we'll definitely go back to Gran Bahia Principe we had a great stay, all was wonderful- the only thing I can comment on is the travel distance from airport to the resort- its quite long. water was very clear, hotel and grounds very clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Food and service was excellent.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Meilleures vacances de tous les temps !!!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment. la nourriture, l'hébergement, le personnel, tout était exceptionnel. Nous avons visité de nombreux endroits dans le sud, et celui-ci était certainement l'un des meilleurs. Le personnel aime vraiment ce qu'il fait. On n'a jamais eu l'impression qu'ils étaient gentils pour les pourboires. Ils étaient simplement très gentils. L'une de nos amies qui voyageait avec nous s'est malheureusement cassé la cheville et le personnel et le personnel médical ont été incr [... lire plus]oyables... Best Vaca Ever!!! What a wonderful time. food, accomodations, staff, everything was exceptional.. We have been to numerous places down south, and this was certainly one of the best. The staff actually enjoy what they do. You never felt like they were being nice for the tips. They were just genuinely nice. One of friends travelling with us unfortunately broke her ankle and the staff and medical staff were incredible..Couldnt have had better service. definitely going back

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Luxe Bahia Principe Esmeralda

Magnifique complexe, nourriture et boissons excellentes, personnes très professionnelles et super gentilles travaillant dans le complexe. La plage est l'une des meilleures que nous ayons vues. Nous étions dans le bâtiment 90, qui est le plus proche de la plage. Le service de navette est très bon si vous voulez aller au lobby de Bavaro ou Punta Cana, car le lobby d'Esmeralda est fermé à 23h30.

Luxury Bahia Principe Esmeralda Beautiful resort, excellent food and drinks, very professional and super nice people working in the resort. The beach is one of the bests we've seen. We will be back for sure, We were in the building 90, which is the closest to the beach, Shuttle service very good if you want to go to Bavaro or Punta Cana lobby, as Esmeralda lobby is closed at 11:30 PM.

En général, l'hôtel et le service étaient assez bons. La nourriture était variée et on nous offrait des boissons à tout moment. Certains jours cependant, il semblait que la nourriture servie au buffet provenait des restes de la veille. Nous y avons prêté attention après qu'un matin, les crêpes que nous avions choisies pour le petit-déjeuner étaient très difficiles à mâcher. Notre restaurant préféré, parmi ceux où nous avions réservé pour le dîner, a été le restaurant français d'Amber, dont la no [... lire plus]urriture, la présentation et le service étaient incroyables. Le restaurant japonais était également bon. Cependant, le dernier soir, nous avions réservé au restaurant méditerranéen. Nous avons d'abord attendu notre repas pendant une heure, au cours de laquelle nous avons vu des fourmis et un cafard ramper sur notre table. Ensuite, nous avons vu deux autres énormes cafards, l'un sortant de l'armoire à vin du restaurant et l'autre à l'extérieur de notre chambre. Hormis l'expérience désagréable de la dernière nuit, nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans cet hôtel.

Great resort with a little unpleasant last day exp In general the hotel and the service were pretty good. The food was diverse and we were offered drinks at any time. Some days though it seemed like the food served at the buffet was from the leftovers from the previous day. We paid attention to that after one morning the pancakes we picked for breakfast were very hard to chew on. Our favorite from the restaurants where we made reservations for dinner, was the French one at Amber- amazing food, presentation and service. The Japanese restaurant was also good. However, on our last night we made a reservation at the Mediterranean restaurant. First we waited for an hour for our food during which we experienced ants and a cockroach crawling on our table. Then we saw two more huge cockroaches- one coming out of the wine cupboard at the restaurant and one outside our room. Besides the unpleasant last night experience, we spent a pretty good one week over there.
