VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Excellente station

Je dois dire que j'ai été surpris. Je vais habituellement à Cuba, mais j'ai décidé d'essayer Puerto Plata. J'ai été agréablement surpris de constater que les chambres et la nourriture étaient bien meilleures qu'à Cuba. Cependant, l'océan est très rocailleux. Vous trouverez des rochers de 2 à 3 pieds de haut. Mais ce n'est pas le cas partout. Certaines parties sont plates et dépourvues de rochers. Il y a aussi beaucoup de vagues, mais cela ne m'a pas dérangé. Le personnel était toujours sympathiq [... lire plus]ue. Dans l'ensemble, de très bonnes vacances !

Excellent resort I must say I was surprised. I usually go to Cuba, but decided to try Puerto Plata. I was pleasantly astonished to find out that the rooms and food was much better than Cuba. However, the ocean is very rocky. You will find rocks that are 2-3 feet tall. However, that is not the case everywhere. There are certains parts that are flat and no rocks whatsoever. There are lots of waves as well, but I personally did not mind that. Staff was always friendly. Overall, great vacation!

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Ce n'était pas ce à quoi je m'attendais

Je n'ai pas été satisfaite de mon voyage, à cause de l'impolitesse des gens dans les restaurants des centres de villégiature, sans parler du casino du centre de villégiature... les croupiers me riaient au nez quand je perdais de l'argent. La nourriture était décente pour la plupart et les piscines étaient correctes. Trop d'algues. Je n'irai plus jamais à Punta Cana. L'océan est la seule raison pour laquelle j'y suis allé et il était sale.

It wasnt what i expected I was not pleased with my trip , from how rude the people at the restaurants at the resorts were , and not to mention the casino on the resort... the dealers would laugh in my face when I lost my money. The food was decent for the most part and the pools were ok. Too much seaweed . I will never go to punta cana again. The ocean is the only reason i went and it was filthy.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: Un lieu de villégiature fantastique !

Je ne sais pas pourquoi il y a tant de critiques négatives. La nourriture était la meilleure que j'ai jamais mangée. Les chambres étaient incroyables, tout comme notre gouvernante. Il y a trop de cartes à la carte pour toutes les fréquenter en une semaine - mais honnêtement, on peut très bien se contenter du buffet. Je n'ai jamais vu une plage avec autant de chaises ! Ma fille est tombée malade et nous avons dû consulter le médecin du site, qui nous a immédiatement envoyées à l'hôpital privé de [... lire plus] Bavaro, où nous avons reçu d'excellents soins (heureusement que nous avons une assurance !). Nous avons laissé un pourboire d'environ 40 $ chacun tout au long de la semaine entre la femme de ménage et le personnel du bar - ils ont beaucoup apprécié. Nous recommanderons cet endroit à d'autres personnes, c'est certain !

Fantastic resort! I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews. The food was the absolute best I’ve ever had. The rooms were amazing as was our housekeeper. There are too many a la cartes to go to all of them in a week - but honestly one would be more than fine just going to the buffet. I’ve also never seen a beach have that many chairs! My daughter got quite sick and we had to see the on-site doctor who referred us immediately to the private hospital in Bavaro where we got excellent care (thank goodness we have insurance!). We tipped about $40 each throughout the week between the housekeeper and bar staff - they very much appreciated it. We will be recommending this place to others for sure!

L'hôtel et le terrain sont très beaux, le complexe lui-même est extrêmement grand. Nous y sommes allés comme cadeau de nos enfants pour célébrer notre 33ème anniversaire et nous avons été déçus par le service et la nourriture. tout d'abord, le buffet était à l'extérieur et exposé à la chaleur et aux oiseaux, j'ai déjà vécu cela deux fois auparavant et les deux fois j'ai été très malade et je ne reviendrai plus jamais dans cette situation, alors nous avons exploré et trouvé un buffet intérieur c [... lire plus]limatisé mais nous n'avons pas été autorisés à y entrer parce qu'il faisait partie de la section Amber, alors nous avons parlé à la réception et la seule façon de pouvoir manger dans les buffets climatisés était de rester dans cette section, alors nous avons dû améliorer notre chambre, ce que nous avons fait, ce qui nous a coûté 384,00 de plus, le service et la nourriture dans cette section étaient très bons et nous l'avons beaucoup mieux appréciée. Un autre point que j'aimerais partager est que les lits....hard ont un rocher, j'ai des problèmes de dos et disons simplement que c'était une joie de retourner dans mon lit moelleux et confortable Attention au times share, nous avons été trompés sur les free bits et avons perdu 2h30 de notre temps pour cela... j'aurais dû être plus malin mais j'ai perdu cette bataille... bon, j'ai retenu la leçon

Disappointed The hotel and grounds are very nice, the complex itself is extremely large. We went here has a gift from our children to celebrate our 33rd Anniversary and was disappointed in the service and food. 1st of all the buffet was all outside and exposed to heat and birds, I experienced this twice before and both times I was very sick and never again would I go through that again, so we explored around and found an indoor a/c Buffett but we were not allowed in because it was part of the Amber section, so we spoke to front desk and only way we could eat in the a/c buffets was to stay in that section so we had to upgrade our room which we did costing us another 384.00, the service and food in that section was very good and we enjoyed it much better. Another point I would like to share is the beds....hard has a rock, I have back issues and let’s just say it was a joy to get back in my soft comfy bed Watch out for the times share we were mislead about the free bits and lost 2 1/2 hours of our time to this...I should of been smarter but I lost that battle...oh well learned my lesson

Viva Heavens by Wyndham: Station balnéaire très propre avec une belle plage

Passé 8 jours début août 2019, resort à moitié plein, la moitié des restaurants ouverts seulement tous les jours, un seul type de bière au bar et elle était plate. Notre chambre était bien avec vue sur la piscine mais musique très forte la nuit. La plage était magnifique...Recommander l'hôtel en haute saison.

Very clean resort with nice beach Spent 8 days beginning of August 2019, resort half full, half the restaurants opened daily only, only one type of beer at the bar and it was flat. Our room was nice with a view of the pool but very loud music at night. The beach was wonderful...Recommend the hotel during high season.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Tout était 5 étoiles. Le personnel, les chambres, la plage, les restaurants, tout était exceptionnel. J'ai apprécié chaque minute passée dans ce centre de villégiature et je le recommanderais à toute personne intéressée par le paradis à un prix raisonnable. J'ai même eu un problème de santé que le complexe a pris au sérieux et m'a permis d'obtenir des soins médicaux exceptionnels. C'est un petit coin de paradis sur terre !

Amazing resort! Everything was 5 star. The staff, rooms, beach, restaurants all exceptional. I enjoyed every minute of this resort and would recommend it to anyone interested in heaven at a reasonable price. I even had a health issue that the resort took seriously and got me to exceptional medical attention. This is a little piece of heaven on earth!

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Bon

Tout est bien sauf la nourriture. La nourriture est la même tous les jours. Le meilleur restaurant est sous la mer. les autres ne sont pas bons. L'état de la chambre est bon, mais parfois nous avons eu des odeurs vraiment mauvaises.

Good Everything are good except the food. Everyday food is same. The best restaurant is under the sea. the others are not good. The room condition is good but sometimes we got the really bad smells.Room service is fast.

Occidental Punta Cana: Bon

Nous aimons bien l'hôtel, surtout le personnel qui est sympathique, mais il y a des choses à améliorer. Nous avions réservé pour un restaurant à la carte mais pour la ligne de réservation nous avons attendu 30 minutes. Quoi qu'il en soit, nous aimons l'hôtel, merci

Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort: Semaine de détente

Séjour du 29 juillet au 5 août Le resort est magnifique. Jardins luxuriants et fontaines d'eau partout. Encore nouveau centre de villégiature ouvert en mai, mais le personnel s'efforce de plaire. Chambres très confortables, nous avons eu swim out adulte très propre, relaxant. Beaucoup de piscines, dans tout le complexe, la plage était en train d'être nettoyée et nous avons pu en profiter. Magnifique paysage au bord de la piscine. La nourriture était excellente, le grill américain était gén [... lire plus]ial à toute heure du jour et de la nuit. Buffet, mexicain, japonais préféré. L'italien a besoin de plus d'éclairage pour être plus sombre. Les bars et les boissons étaient excellents. Le boulevard était agréable, en particulier le café et le pub. Ce sera génial quand tout sera ouvert et terminé. Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse !

Relaxing week away Stayed July 29-Aug 5 The resort is beautiful. Lush gardens and water fountains everywhere. Still new resort opened in May, but staff are trying hard to please. Rooms very comfortable, we had swim out adult very clean, relaxing. Lots of pools, throughout the resort, beach was being cleaned and we actually were able to enjoy it. Beautiful scenery sitting by the pool. Food was excellent American Grill was awesome anytime during day and night. Buffet, Mexican Japanese favourite. Italian needs more lighting to dark. Bars and drinks were wonderful. Boulevard was nice especially cafe and pub. It will be awesome when everything is open and completed. Great resort we had a wonderful week!

Nous avons voyagé en groupe de 10 (8 adultes, 2 enfants). Dans l'ensemble, il s'agit d'une station assez agréable. Le bon : - Bonne nourriture (quelque chose pour tout le monde) - Grandes chambres confortables - Excellente communication entre les stations (oui, c'est une grande région) - Piscines bien entretenues - Espaces verts parfaitement entretenus - La plage de sable blanc est spectaculaire - Nombre suffisant de chaises sur la plage (la plupart à l'ombre) Les moins bons : - Les  [... lire plus]mauvaises herbes sur la plage ont un peu plombé l'ambiance et c'était tout simplement écrasant pour quelques gars avec des fourches - le resort a un besoin urgent d'équipement professionnel pour nettoyer la plage - Les restaurants à la carte (3 réservations autorisées) sont pour la plupart réservés jusqu'aux 3 derniers jours du séjour pour les nouveaux arrivants La laideur : 1. Dans une des chambres le coffre-fort ne fonctionnait pas, dans d'autres il y avait des problèmes (le service a essayé de résoudre les problèmes mais cela n'a pas duré). Le coffre-fort de l'une de nos chambres ne pouvait tout simplement pas être utilisé. 2. Le deuxième jour, les clés d'entrée de nos chambres ont cessé de fonctionner. La serrure a été testée par le service (Ezqequiel) et fonctionnait parfaitement avec la clé magnétique du service de nettoyage) mais les 3 premiers jeux de clés magnétiques de remplacement n'ont pas fonctionné (une demi-journée perdue à faire des allers-retours). Le quatrième jeu de clés (livré) a finalement fonctionné pour le reste du séjour. 3. Dans l'une des chambres, de l'eau provenant du toit (ou de la condensation de la climatisation) s'est accumulée dans le plafond (gros bourrelet) et fuyait au centre du passage et sur les murs. La personne chargée du nettoyage a signalé le problème, mais elle a été ignorée pendant deux jours. Le troisième jour, à la première heure du matin, j'ai signalé le problème à la réception - malgré une promesse, personne ne s'est présenté pendant des heures. La femme de ménage a appelé et j'ai parlé à quelqu'un. Lorsque j'ai demandé quand quelqu'un se présenterait, la personne à l'autre bout du fil a raccroché. À ce moment-là, je me suis rendue au service clientèle et j'ai déposé une plainte formelle par écrit - on m'a dit de contacter le service clientèle après 15 heures. À ce moment-là, personne ne semblait savoir quoi que ce soit ; il a fallu encore une demi-heure de discussions avec deux représentants de l'hôtel avant que la décision ne soit prise de reloger la personne concernée dans une autre chambre (juste pour la dernière nuit). Clause de non-responsabilité : ce qui précède est peut-être dû à notre malchance, mais rien ne justifie d'ignorer les problèmes signalés par le personnel et les clients du centre de villégiature. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai perdu plus d'une journée entière de mon séjour à régler des problèmes frustrants au lieu de me détendre.

Overall nice resort but our stay was plagued by problems We have traveled as a group of 10 (8 adults, 2 children). Overall a quite nice resort. The good: - Good food (something for everybody) - Large comfortable rooms - Excellent inter-resort communication (yes, it is a large area) - Well maintained pools - Perfectly maintained green areas - The white sandy beach is spectacular - Sufficient number of chairs on the beach (most in a decent shade) The not so good: - The weeds on the beach damped the mood slightly and it was simply overwhelming for a couple of guys with pitchforks – the resort is in urgent need of professional equipment to clean the beach - The á la carte restaurants (3 bookings allowed) mostly booked until the last 3 days of the stay for new arrivals The ugly: 1. In one of the rooms room the safe box did not work, in others they had problems (service tried to solve the problems but it did not last). Safe box in one of our rooms just could not be used. 2. On the second day our room entry keys stopped working. The lock was tested by service (Ezqequiel) and was working just fine with the cleaning service magnetic key) yet the first 3 replacement sets of magnetic keys did not work (half a day wasted walking back and forth). The fourth set of keys (delivered) finally worked for the rest of the stay. 3. In one of the rooms, water from the roof (or AC condensate) accumulated in the ceiling (big bulge) and was leaking at the center of the passage and on the walls. The cleaning person reported the problem but was ignored for two days. On the third day, first thing in the morning I have reported the problem to the reception - despite a promise no one showed up for hours. The cleaning lady made a call and I spoke to someone - when I asked when someone will show up - the person on the other end of the line just hanged up the phone. At that moment I went to the Guest Service and filed a formal complaint in writing - I was told to contact the Guest Service after 3pm. At that time no one seemed to know anything ; it took another half an hour of talks to couple of hotel reps before decision was made to relocate the affected party to another room (just for the last night). Disclaimer: The above could be just our bad luck but nothing justifies ignoring problems reported by resort staff and customers. Overall, I wasted more than a full day of my stay dealing with frustrating problems as opposed to relaxing.

Beau terrain et bon transport entre les resorts et la plage. Dîner à la carte de bon goût et très bons services au buffet. Plus d'activités seraient un plus, surtout pour les enfants. Emplacement de la plage et services agréables.

Beach front resort Beautiful ground and good transportation between resorts and beach. Tasteful a-la-cart dinner and very good services at buffet. More activities would be a plus, specially for the kids. Nice beach location and services.

Melia Punta Cana Beach Wellness Resort Adults: Décevant

L'hôtel en lui-même est très propre. La nourriture est en dessous de la norme, toujours froide. Le seul plat chaud que j'ai eu était une omelette par jour, même la soupe était tiède. Le transport entre les chambres et les zones principales se fait en voiturettes de golf. Il fallait parfois attendre 30 minutes avant de pouvoir se rendre au déjeuner. C'était très espacé et il n'y avait pas d'abri pour marcher s'il pleuvait. Nous avons séjourné dans deux autres complexes proches et ils avaient des  [... lire plus]allées couvertes en cas de pluie. Il y avait très peu d'organisation. Aux piscines, il n'y avait pas de serveurs, seulement au bar. Nous avons séjourné dans la section réservée aux adultes et c'était différent. Il y avait très peu d'activités, pas de musique, aucune interaction avec le personnel. Les boissons alcoolisées ne provenaient que de la République dominicaine. Il n'y avait pas de prime, sauf au casino où l'on pouvait obtenir un crown royal pour 5,00 $. Notre chambre était belle, spacieuse et extrêmement propre. Encore une fois, les algues étaient incontrôlables et l'océan n'était pas vraiment accessible, ce qui est un énorme problème pour Punta Cana en général. Cela n'en valait pas la peine et je n'y retournerai jamais.

Disappointing The hotel it's self is very clean. The food is sub standard, always cold. The only hot item I got was an omelette daily, even the soup was lukewarm. The transportation from the rooms to the main areas was golf carts. Sometimes it took 30 minutes to get a ride to lunch. It was very spaced out and no cover to walk if it rained. We have stayed at two other resorts close by and they had covered walkways in the event of rain. It was very unorganized. At the pools there was no servers only at the bar. We stayed at the Adult only section and it was different. There was very little activities, no music no interaction with staff at all. The liquor was only native to the Dominican Republic. There was no premium except at the casino you could get a crown royal for $5.00. Our room was beautiful, spacious and extremely clean. Again the seaweed was out of control and the ocean was not really accessible which is a huge problem for Punta Cana in general. It was not worth the money and I would never go back there.

NOUS AVONS DEMANDÉ À ÊTRE DÉPLACÉS, NOTRE DEUXIÈME CHAMBRE ÉTAIT UN ""PEU"" MIEUX, MAIS TOUJOURS TRÈS CHAUDE POUR DORMIR UN PEU MIEUX, MAIS IL FAISAIT ENCORE TRÈS [... lire plus] CHAUD POUR DORMIR LA NUIT. LA TEMPÉRATURE DANS CETTE CHAMBRE ÉTAIT DE 25,5 DEGRÉS ET N'A JAMAIS BOUGÉ - DÉFINITIVEMENT INACCEPTABLE, MAIS NOUS SOMMES RESTÉS DANS CETTE CHAMBRE DE TOUTE FAÇON PARCE QUE PLUS TÔT DANS LA JOURNÉE, MON MARI A ENTENDU DES GENS À LA PISCINE SE PLAINDRE DE LEUR AIR CONDITIONNÉ QUI NE FONCTIONNAIT PAS. IL Y A BEAUCOUP TROP D'OISEAUX DANS CE COMPLEXE. IL Y A DES EXCRÉMENTS PARTOUT SUR LE TERRAIN, EN PARTICULIER CEUX DES DINDES. NOUS NOUS SOMMES ASSIS TOUT AU BOUT DE LA JETÉE UN SOIR, AVEC VUE SUR L'OCÉAN, ET QUELQU'UN S'EST APPROCHÉ DE NOUS POUR NOUS DIRE QUE NOUS NE POUVIONS PAS NOUS ASSEOIR LÀ ET QUE LA JETÉE ÉTAIT UN BAR/RESTAURANT PAYANT. L'ENDROIT EST VIEUX. IL A VRAIMENT BESOIN D'ÊTRE RÉNOVÉ EN PROFONDEUR. BEAUCOUP DE CHOSES SONT FISSURÉES ET CASSÉES. EN ALLANT À LA PLAGE DEPUIS LA PISCINE, IL Y A TELLEMENT DE ROCHERS QUI SORTENT DU SABLE QUE SI VOUS NE FAITES PAS ATTENTION, VOUS RISQUEZ DE VOUS COGNER LES ORTEILS. L'OCÉAN EST MAGNIFIQUE, MAIS VOUS NE POUVEZ PAS Y ALLER CAR IL Y A TELLEMENT DE ROCHERS DÉCHIQUETÉS AU FOND QUE SI VOUS N'AVEZ PAS DE CHAUSSURES DE PLAGE, VOUS VOUS ÉCORCHEREZ CERTAINEMENT LES PIEDS. LA NOURRITURE EST DÉCENTE, MAIS POURRAIT ÊTRE AMÉLIORÉE. IL N'Y A ABSOLUMENT AUCUN ENDROIT OÙ ALLER LE SOIR S'IL PLEUT CAR LA "PLAZA" N'EST PAS COUVERTE N'EST PAS COUVERTE. LE BUFFET EST OUVERT, DONC LES PETITS OISEAUX ENTRENT ET SE NICHENT SUR LES PICS INTÉRIEURS DU TOIT DE CHAUME, DONC UNE FOIS NOUS ÉTIONS EN TRAIN DE MANGER ET DES FIENTES D'OISEAUX ONT ATTERRI SUR NOTRE TABLE. C'EST TRÈS DÉGOÛTANT. DE PLUS, SI VOUS LAISSEZ VOTRE ASSIETTE SUR LA TABLE AVEC DE LA NOURRITURE POUR ALLER CHERCHER AUTRE CHOSE, LES OISEAUX VOLENT ET PICORENT VOTRE NOURRITURE. VOUS MANGEZ DONC DE LA NOURRITURE SUR LAQUELLE LES OISEAUX ONT JETÉ LEUR DÉVOLU. JE NE RETOURNERAIS CERTAINEMENT PAS DANS CE COMPLEXE ET JE NE LE RECOMMANDERAIS PAS NON PLUS. MÊME SI LE PRIX QUE NOUS AVONS PAYÉ ÉTAIT RAISONNABLE, NOUS PENSONS QUE NOUS AVONS PAYÉ BEAUCOUP TROP CHER POUR CE QUE CE COMPLEXE A À OFFRIR. COMME JE L'AI DIT, CE COMPLEXE A BESOIN D'UNE RÉNOVATION MAJEURE, MAJEURE, MAJEURE. SI J'ÉTAIS PROPRIÉTAIRE DE CE COMPLEXE, JE SERAIS GÊNÉ DE LE VENDRE À DES VACANCIERS. NOUS AURIONS PRÉFÉRÉ ALLER AILLEURS.

BE LIVE COLLECTION "CANOA" HORRIBLE RESORT THE BE LIVE COLLECTION "CANOA" RESORT IN LA ROMANA IS THE WORST RESORT WE HAVE EVER BEEN TO AND WE HAVE BEEN TO MANY MANY RESORTS. WE WERE THERE FROM JULY 24th TO JULY 31st, 2019. WHERE DO I BEGIN. THE AIR CONDITIONING IN OUR ""FIRST"" ROOM DID NOT WORK - IT WAS 28 DEGREES. WE ASKED TO BE MOVED, OUR SECOND ROOM WAS A ""LITTLE"" BETTER BUT STILL VERY WARM TO SLEEP AT NIGHT. THE TEMPERTURE IN THAT ROOM WAS 25.5 DEGREES AND NEVER BUDGED DEFINATELY NOT ACCEPTABLE, BUT WE STAYED IN THIS ROOM ANYWAY BECAUSE EARLIER THAT DAY MY HUSBAND OVERHEARD PEOPLE AT THE POOL ALSO COMPLAINING ABOUT THEIR A/C NOT WORKING. THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY BIRDS AT THIS RESORT. THERE IS POOP ALL OVER THE GROUNDS FROM THESE BIRDS ESPECIALLY THE TURKEYS. ONE TURKEY TRIED TO PECK A GENTLEMAN THAT WAS ON MOBILE WHEELCHAIR AND SOME TURKEYS MADE THEIR WAY INTO THE BUFFET WHERE ONE GIRL WAS STARTLED AND KEPT WAVING THEM AWAY BUT THEY WOULD NOT LEAVE - THIS IS SO UNSANITARY - JUST GET RID OF ALL THESE BIRDS. AGAIN VERY UNSANITARY. THE SWIM UP BAR IS A COMPLETE JOKE. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO SERVICE THERE WHATSOEVER. THE BAR IS TWO SIDED, ONE PART BEING IN THE POOL (where there is no booze on that side of the bar???) AND THE OTHER SIDE OF THIS BAR IS BEING SERVED TO WALKERS BY. THERE WAS ALWAYS NO ONE ON THE POOL SIDE, LITERALLY PEOPLE WERE GETTING OUT OF THE POOL WALKING TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BAR TO ORDER THEIR DRINKS AND GETTING BACK IN THE POOL - SO WHY BOTHER HAVING A ""SWIM UP"" BAR. ALSO THE ""PIER BAR/RESTAURANT IS A ""PAY"" BAR/RESTAURANT - THIS WAS NOT MENTIONED AND IS NOT NOTED ANYWHERE. WE SAT AT THE VERY END OF THE PIER ONE EVENING OVERLOOKING THE OCEAN AND SOMEONE APPROACHED US TELLING US WE COULD NOT SIT THERE THAT THIS PIER WAS A PAY BAR/RESTAURANT. THE PLACE IS OLD. IT DEFINATELY NEEDS SOME MAJOR REFURBISHING. A LOT OF THINGS ARE CRACKED AND BROKEN. GOING TO THE BEACH FROM THE POOL AREA, THERE ARE SO MANY ROCKS STICKING OUT OF THE SAND THAT IF YOU DON'T WATCH IT YOU CAN STUB YOUR TOES BADLY. THE OCEAN IS GORGEOUS, BUT YOU CANNOT GO IN IT BECAUSE THERE ARE SO MANY JAGGED ROCKS AT THE BOTTOM OF IT THAT IF YOU HAVE NO BEACH SHOES YOU DEFINATELY SCRAPE YOUR FEET BADLY. THE FOOD IS DECENT, BUT COULD USE IMPROVEMENT. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOWHERE TO GO AT NIGHT IF IT RAINS AS THE ""PLAZA"" IS NOT COVERED. THE BUFFET IS OPEN AREA, SO SMALL BIRDS COME IN AND NESTLE ON THE INSIDE PEAKS OF THE THATCHED ROOF, SO ONE TIME WE WERE EATING THERE AND BIRD DROPPINGS LANDED ON OUR TABLE. SO VERY DISGUSTING. ALSO, IF YOU LEAVE YOUR PLATE ON YOUR TABLE WITH FOOD TO GO GET WHATEVER, BIRDS FLY IN AND PICK AT YOUR FOOD. SO YOU ARE EATING FOOD THAT BIRDS HAVE BEEN PICKING ON. I WOULD DEFINATELY NOT RETURN TO THIS RESORT OR RECOMMEND IT FOR THAT MATTER. EVEN THOUGH THE PRICE WE PAID WAS REASONABLE, WE STILL THINK WE PAID WAY TOO MUCH FOR WHAT THIS RESORT HAS TO OFFER. LIKE I SAID THIS RESORT NEEDS MAJOR, MAJOR, MAJOR RENOVATION. IF I WAS OWNERS OF THIS RESORT, I WOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO SELL THIS RESORT TO VACATIONERS. WISH WE HAD GONE SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Belle vieille fille.

Ce n'est pas mon premier séjour au Caribe Club Princess (CCP). Mais le CCP doit faire l'objet de rénovations et, à moins que je ne puisse m'y rendre à Noël, ce sera mon dernier séjour, au moins jusqu'à ce que la reconstruction soit terminée. Les fêtes dans la grande piscine me manqueront. Les levers de soleil sur la plage. Les 6 ou 7 serveurs qui savent exactement quelle quantité de lait j'aime dans mon café chaque matin avant d'être en état de parler à d'autres humains, ou que j'aime telle q [... lire plus]uantité de vin rouge. Ou les dames de la réception qui se souviennent de moi à chaque fois. Je suis sûr que les gens de la Princesse feront du bon travail avec la reconstruction, mais on peut presque sentir l'histoire de l'amusement et de la relaxation dans cet endroit. Je vous aime, CCP. A bientôt.

Beautiful old girl. This not my first stay at Caribe Club Princess(CCP). But CCP is due for renovations and unless I can make it down at Christmas it will be my last at least until the rebuild is done. I ll miss the parties in the great big pool. The sunrises on the beach. The 6 or 7 servers that know just how much milk I like in my coffee each morning before I am fit to talk to other humans, or that I like this much red wine. Or the ladies at the front desk that remember me each time. I am sure the Princess people will do a great job with the rebuild but you can almost feel the history of fun and relaxation in this place. Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Dans l'ensemble, un bon moment

Avantages : - accès proche de la plage - personnel sympathique et heureux - environnement propre - chambres d'hôtel bien entretenues dans l'ensemble - très belle salle de sport - le service des boissons et du bar était excellent - le personnel a gentiment décoré la chambre d'hôtel pour l'anniversaire, avec des ballons et une bannière sur la porte Neutre : - la nourriture était tout juste acceptable. Le buffet était bien meilleur que les options de restauration à la carte - la plage é [... lire plus]tait bien entretenue par le personnel, qui enlevait constamment les algues du rivage, mais l'eau de l'océan était inévitablement infestée d'algues de toute façon, ce qui donnait une légère odeur de poisson à l'ensemble de la zone de la plage Inconvénients : - signalisation très insuffisante. Il est difficile de se repérer dans le complexe. Et vous ne savez jamais quels restaurants sont ouverts ou fermés chaque soir jusqu'à ce que vous y arriviez - la piscine jacuzzi de la piscine principale était remplie d'insectes - le service de nettoyage oubliait constamment de recharger le papier toilette et les serviettes. Un jour, il a oublié de nettoyer entièrement notre chambre - beaucoup de solliciteurs sur la plage essayant de vous vendre des choses - la moitié de l'hôtel est réservée aux membres du "Preferred Club", ce qui vous pousse à payer un supplément pour avoir accès à ces services. Par exemple, une des deux piscines principales est réservée aux membres du "Preferred Club", les places assises à la plage et dans les restaurants, etc. Ce qui n'a pas été annoncé ou prévenu avant de réserver cet hôtel. De plus, le principal lieu de restauration (le buffet) est à l'extérieur et seuls les membres du club privilégié ont accès aux places assises de l'AC.

Overall a good time Pros: - close access to the beach - friendly and happy staff - clean environment - hotel rooms were overall well kept - very nice gym facility - drinks and bar service was excellent - staff kindly decorated the hotel room for birthday, including balloons and a door banner Neutral: - food was just okay. Buffet was much better than a la carte dining options - beach was well kept by staff, constantly removing seaweed from shore but ocean water was inevitably infested with seaweed anyways also causing a slight fishy Odor to the overall beach area Cons: - extremely poor signage. Difficult to find your way around the resort. And you never know which restaurants are open or closed each night until you get there - jacuzzi pool in main pool area was filled with bugs - cleaning service kept forgetting to refill our toilet paper and towels. One of the days, forgot to clean our room entirely - a lot of solicitors on the beach trying to sell you things - half of the resort was reserved for “Preferred Club” members which pressures you into paying a premium to upgrade to get access to these services. ie: 1 out of the 2 main pools are reserved for preferred club members, seating areas at beach/restaurants, etc. Which was not advertised or warned of before booking this hotel. Also, the main eating area (the buffet) is outdoors and only preferred club members have access to the AC seating area.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Grand centre de villégiature

Nous avons séjourné au Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana en juillet. Nous avons commencé par le "pied gauche" car nous avons dû rester 2h à la réception (la chambre n'était pas prête). Ensuite, tout s'est bien passé. Les chambres sont comme sur les photos. Nous avons été placés entre le restaurant et la plage, à côté d'une piscine. Même si vous êtes loin de l'une d'entre elles, il y a des mini-voitures (mini-train) qui passent tout le temps, donc vous n'avez pas à marcher si vous n'aimez pas ça.Le [... lire plus] complexe était propre, avec beaucoup de palmiers. La plage était très belle, beaucoup d'algues mais elles n'étaient pas dégoûtantes ; mon enfant a même aimé jouer avec. C'était un bel hôtel, nous y retournerons certainement.

Great resort We've been in Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana in July. We started with the "left foot" because we had to stay 2h at the reception desk(the room was not ready). After that was ok. The rooms are like in the pictures. We've been place between restaurant and beach, next to one pool. Even if you are far from one of them you have some mini car(mini train) that pass all the time so you do not have to walk if you don't like it.The resort was clean, a lot of palm trees. The food was very very good with so many options(you could easily put 3-4 kg after this cooking experience).The beach was very nice, a lot of seaweed but they were not disgusting ; my kid even enjoy playing with them. It was a nice hotel, we will return for sure.

VIK Hotel Arena Blanca: Station très agréable et propre

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans ce complexe, nous y passons toujours un bon moment, même s'il pourrait être rénové, le complexe est bien entretenu. La nourriture est toujours bonne, le personnel est serviable et amical, la plage est magnifique à l'exception des algues. Notre favori était le gars à la station d'omelette très drôle et amical aime frapper du poing. Le hall a besoin de plus de tables et de chaises car nous devions souvent rester debout et attendre une place pour s'asseoi [... lire plus]r. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous reviendrons certainement.

Very nice and clean resort Our second time in this resort, always have a great time here although it could use some updates resort is well maintained. Food is always good, staff are helpful and friendly beach is stunning except the seaweeds. Our favourite was the guy at the omelette station very funny and friendly loves to fist bump. Lobby needs more tables and chairs as we often had to stand and wait up for a spot to sit on. Overall had a great stay we will be back again for sure.

Royalton Bavaro Resort and Spa: Merveilleux endroit pour les vacances

Tout est 5 étoiles, il n'y a rien à redire. De la plage à la chambre d'hôtel’s tous sont parfaits. Ma femme et mes 3 enfants ont beaucoup apprécié l'endroit. Des tonnes d'activités du matin au soir. Vous n'aurez pas le temps de vous ennuyer.

Wonderful place for vacation It is all 5 star, nothing to complain. From beach to hotel room’s all are perfect. My wife and 3 kids have enjoyed the place a lot. Tons of activities from morning to evening. You won’t have time to get bored.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

nous avons séjourné au Bahia Principe Esmeralda pendant 2 semaines en juillet. C'est un très bel hôtel, très propre, avec une nourriture extraordinaire et très proche de la plage ! Je recommande vivement cet hôtel ! Le seul inconvénient serait les algues dans la mer, mais le personnel les nettoie régulièrement.

Amazing resort we stayed at Bahia Principe Esmeralda for 2 weeks in July. It is a very beautiful hotel, very clean, amazing food and very close to beach! I would highly recommend this hotel! The only con would be the seaweed in the sea, however staff cleans it regularly.

Caribe Deluxe Princess: Hôtel très décent. Rien à redire.

Station bien entretenue et propre. En ce qui concerne la ligne d'assistance pour les services aux clients, il arrive qu'ils ne répondent pas au téléphone. Seules les personnes à la réception parlent anglais. Parfois, ils disent que la crêperie ne peut pas faire de crêpes et que vous devez revenir plus tard, etc. L'idée est de créer une sorte de confusion mineure pour que vous leur donniez un pourboire et que les choses se fassent.

Very decent hotel. No complaints. Well groomed and clean resort. About their help line for guest services, sometimes they don't answer the phone. Only people at the front desk speak english. Sometimes they say the creperie cannot make crespes and you have to come back later etc. the idea is to create some sort of minor confusion so you will tip them and get things done.
