Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana: J'adore cette station, j'y retournerai

Le terrain était magnifique et bien entretenu. Tous les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons. Le restaurant français et le steak house étaient si bons que nous y sommes retournés. Le personnel est très amical et sociable. Le petit complexe hôtelier permet de se rendre partout à pied. nous y retournerons sans aucun doute

Love this resort will go back The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. All of the ala carte restaurants were very good. The French Restaurant and Steak house were both so good we went again. Staff is very friendly and outgoing, small resort so you can walk everywhere. will definitely go back again

Barcelo Bavaro Palace: Mon endroit préféré !!!

Cela fait maintenant 3 fois que je viens dans ce complexe et je n'ai rien à redire. Je ne pense pas qu'un autre complexe puisse faire mieux que celui-ci. Les terrains sont à couper le souffle et la nourriture est exceptionnelle. Il y a beaucoup d'activités à faire et les chambres sont très modernes et propres. Mon plat préféré à la carte est le restaurant espagnol et le steakhouse. Je recommanderais ce complexe à tous ceux qui veulent du luxe et de la classe pendant leurs vacances :)

My Favorite Place to Be!!! I have been to this resort now 3 times and I have no complaints. I don't think any other resort can top this one. The grounds are breathtaking and the food is exceptional. Many activities to do and the rooms are very modern and clean. My favorite a la carte is the Spanish and steakhouse. I would recommend this resort to anyone who wants luxury and class on their vacation:)

Sunscape Coco Punta Cana: Un endroit magnifique

Tout était très beau, les chambres propres, la nourriture délicieuse, les gens trop sympathiques, les divertissements intéressants. La seule chose qui n'a pas été satisfaite, c'est le service. Je ne sais pas si c'est parce qu'il y avait trop de clients pour s'en occuper, parce que toutes les zones étaient occupées en permanence.

Beautiful Place Everything was very beautiful , the rooms clean, the food delicious, The people too friendly , interesting entertainments . The only thing that was not fulfilled the service.I do not if it was too many customers to attend .Because all areas were occupied all the time.

Majestic Elegance Punta Cana: J'ai adoré ! deuxième fois

Nous l'avons absolument adoré. C'était notre deuxième fois et nous avons été traités de la même manière que la première fois. L'équipe de divertissement était formidable. Les spectacles étaient superbes et c'était agréable de revoir le même personnel ! Nous adorons César ! Il était dans l'Elegance Club cette fois-ci mais c'était super de voir le même personnel !

Loved it! 2nd Time There We absolutely loved it. It was our second time and we were treated just how we were the first time. The entertainment staff were amazing. Great shows and it was nice seeing the same staff! We love cesar!! He was in the Elegance Club this time but it was great to see some of the same staff!

We love Majestic! Everything about Majestic Elegance was just amazing! From the clean and upkept grounds, to the workers, to the food selection and much much more my husband and I could not be more pleased with choosing Majestic Elegance for our honeymoon!! Le Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana ***** Comme c'était la première fois que je venais dans un complexe hôtelier tout compris, je ne savais pas à quoi m'attendre et, après avoir entendu la famille et les amis parler de leurs expériences, j'étais quelque peu sceptique étant donné les avantages et les inconvénients que j'entendais - de la nourriture aux installations et à l'hébergement... mais j'y suis allée avec l'esprit ouvert et je voulais faire mon propre jugement en me basant sur mes propre [... lire plus]s expériences de première main. Tout ce que je peux dire, c'est que j'ai été plus qu'impressionnée par TOUTES les facettes du complexe - les terrains sont absolument immaculés - une image parfaite ! la nourriture était exceptionnelle, les piscines étaient claires et propres, le personnel était plus qu'amical et accommodant chaque fois qu'on le sollicitait... mon seul regret est de ne pas avoir pu prolonger mon séjour plus longtemps que les 7 jours ! Je recommanderais sans hésiter ce complexe à ma famille et à mes amis et j'ai hâte de retourner un jour au Paradis ! je vous remercie d'avoir fait de mon expérience un souvenir très agréable et durable. Beautiful Imaculate Resort The Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana ***** Being my first time to an all-inclusive resort I did not know what to expect and having heard from family & friends about their experiences I was somewhat skeptical given the pros/cons that I was hearing - everything from the food to the facilities and the accommodations ... but I went in with an open mind and wanted to make my own judgment call based on my own first hand experiences. All I can say is that I was more than thoroughly impressed by ALL facets of the resort - the grounds are absolutely immaculate - picture perfect! the food was exceptional, the pools were crystal clear and clean, the staff were more than friendly and accommodating whenever called upon... my only regret is that I wasn't able to prolong my stay longer than the 7 days! I would most definitely recommend this resort to family & friends and look forward to one day returning to Paradise! thank you for making my experience a very pleasant and lasting memory. John T.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Un lieu de villégiature fantastique

Nous recommandons vivement ce centre de villégiature... nous y retournerons certainement. Les chambres sont très belles. La nourriture était excellente. Le service était excellent. La plage était agréable mais un peu trop de voir de l'herbe.l'animation était super. Le service de la réception était amical, rapide et très poli. J'ai voyagé de nombreuses fois et ce centre de villégiature a été le meilleur. Encore une fois, je recommande vivement d'aller dans ce centre de villégiature.

Fantastic resort Highly recommend this resort...we would go back for sure. Rooms are very nice. Food was great. Service was great. Beach was nice but a little too much see weed.entertainment was great. Front desk service was friendly and quick and very polite. I have been away many times and this resort was the best of been too. Again I highly recommend going to this resort.

Dans l'ensemble, c'est un endroit moyen à bon à visiter, mais je ne paierais pas le prix fort pour ce grand complexe. certains membres du personnel sont excessivement sympathiques, mais il y en a quelques-uns qui sont impolis et discutables. nous avons eu deux chambres avec exactement la même disposition, l'une avec un lampadaire à l'extrémité et l'autre sans, ce qui était très sombre la nuit, il a fallu une longue discussion pour en avoir un dans la chambre manquante. les deux climatiseurs étai [... lire plus]ent bruyants mais efficaces. les deux climatiseurs étaient bruyants mais efficaces. attendez-vous à payer pour la boîte de sécurité si vous êtes un client de punta cana. les chariots du resort sont à l'heure et en abondance. ma plus grande plainte est quand ils ont un événement comme un match de water-polo, ils devraient isoler la zone pour que personne ne traverse l'aire de jeu, ce dont ils ne se sont pas du tout souciés, c'est dangereux pour les autres. Les animations nocturnes sont bonnes mais très courtes. compte tenu de la proximité des lieux et des heures d'ouverture, comme les heures de petit-déjeuner et de déjeuner du buffet, vous vous retrouvez à vous dépêcher d'aller d'un endroit à l'autre en permanence, ce qui n'est guère une expérience relaxante. pourquoi n'y a-t-il pas plus de ventilateurs rotatifs dans les halls principaux, je n'en ai aucune idée. attention aux escrocs lors des achats, que ce soit à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. les restaurants sont une démonstration superficielle de luxe. dans l'ensemble, il ne s'agit pas d'un complexe de luxe, quel que soit le complexe dans lequel vous séjournez. Cela ne vaut pas la peine de payer le prix fort dans un complexe plus cher, la nourriture est la même, la plage est la même, les piscines sont les mêmes et les chambres ne sont pas très différentes, je ne paierais pas beaucoup juste pour avoir des serviettes de plage dans ma chambre ou quelques autres avantages qui ne feraient pas une grande différence lors d'un séjour d'une semaine.

Overall an average to good place to visit but I would not pay top dollars for this huge resort. some of the staff are overly friendly, but there are quite few that are rude and argumentative. we had 2 rooms with exactly the same layout, one with floor lamp at the far side and one without which was quit dark at night, it took a long argument to have one in the missing room. both air conditioners were noisy but effective. expect to pay for security box if you are a punta cana client. resort carts are on time and plenty. my biggest complain is when they have an event such as water-polo match, they should isolate the area so that no one crosses the playing are which they did not care at all, it is dangerous for others. Night entertainment is good but very short. considering the proximity of places and the hours of operations, like the breakfast and lunch hours of the buffet, you find yourself rushing to get from one place to another all the time, this is hardly a relaxing experience. why there can't be more rotating fans in the main lobbies, i have no idea. careful of scammers while shopping regardless of shopping indoors or outdoors. restaurants are a superficial show of luxury. overall, this is hardly a luxury complex regardless of which resort you stay in. not worth it to pay top dollars in a more expensive resort, food is the same, beach is the same, pools are the same and rooms are not much different, I wouldn't pay much just to have beach towels in my room or a few more perks that wouldn't make much of a difference in a week stay. it is a hit and miss, but if you're lucky you can get a good room for a good price and have a good time for a week.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Très beau complexe hôtelier

Notre chambre est si spacieuse, agréable, j'ai apprécié le bar de natation, la belle plage, juste frustré la première fois que nous sommes allés à la plage parce que nous avons trouvé beaucoup d'algues, mais à part cela, l'ensemble de l'endroit est parfait. Je le recommande vivement à tous.

Very nice Resort Our room is so spacious,nice,I enjoyed the swim up bar, nice beach , just frustrated on our first time to go to the beach because we found lots of seaweeds but other than that the whole place is perfect.Love it. I will highly recommend to all.

Nourriture boissons plage piscine bar étonnant !!!! Je n'ai rien à redire sur tout cela ! !! Le seul problème était que la réception était lente et n'était pas très serviable, mais l'hôtel est absolument magnifique ! Je reviendrais ici. Incroyable !

Ce complexe était très agréable, avec un très bon service. Beaucoup d'employés sont toujours là pour vous aider. Toujours une femme de chambre à notre étage pour une serviette supplémentaire, du papier toilette ou une bouteille d'eau. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin. La nourriture était bonne. Beaucoup de choix. Le complexe était cependant plein à craquer. Il n'y a jamais de basse saison. Difficile de trouver une chaise au bord de la piscine ou de la plage. La plage était agréable. Il y a plus ou [... lire plus] moins d'algues selon les jours, mais elles sont toujours nettoyées sur la plage. Les chambres sont propres et grandes. J'ai aimé les doubles lavabos. Au 5 étoiles, vous avez accès à plus de cartes à la carte. Elles étaient bonnes.

Worth the money This resort was very nice, very good service. Lots of workers always around to help you out. Always a maid on our floor for an extra towel, toilet paper or water bottle. Whatever you need. Food was good. Lots of selection. The resort was packed full of ppl though. They never have a low season. Hard to find a chair by the pool or the beach. Beach was nice. Varying amounts of seaweed depending on the day but they are always cleaning it up on the beach. Rooms are clean and big. I liked the double sinks. At the 5 star you have access to more a la cartes. They were good.

Bahia Principe Grand Bavaro: Trop de bruit

Nous avons séjourné au Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro en 2015 et nous avons adoré. Nous avons apprécié les nuits de détente dans le lobby avec une bonne boisson fraîche et de l'air frais. Nous avons décidé de revenir au même resort cette année, la chambre était parfaite et calme mais le reste de l'hôtel était trop occupé. Le hall était bruyant la nuit et la fumée omniprésente était encore plus dérangeante. Le lobby était bruyant la nuit et la fumée partout était même dérangeante. Si nous décidons de retourner dans ce resort, nous passerons certainement à l'Amber ou à l'Esmeralda. Nos vacances n'ont pas été aussi relaxantes que nous l'avions prévu. Dommage car Punta Cana est une si belle plage pour une belle promenade.

To much noise We stayed at Grand Bahia Principe Bavaro in 2015 and loved it. We enjoyed the relaxing nights in the lobby with a nice cold drink and fresh air. We decided to come back to the same resort this year, the room was perfect and quiet but the rest of the hotel was to busy. The lobby was loud at night and the smoking everywhere was even disturbing. So much for the breath of fresh air. Even the day of our arrival it was impossible for us to book the 3 a la carte restaurant The food at the buffet was not as good as in 2015 :(. If we decide to go back to that resort we will definitely upgrade to Amber or Esmeralda. Our vacation was not as relax as we planned. To bad because Punta Cana is such a nice beach for a great walk.

Ils ont demandé à s'assurer que notre chambre était à la hauteur de nos attentes et étaient prêts à réparer tout ce qui posait problème (nous avions des petites mouches partout dans la salle de bain). Il y avait beaucoup de piscines et la plage était agréable. Quelques boutiques sur le site, ce qui était très bien. Ils ont été plu [... lire plus]s qu'accommodants en m'aidant à passer des appels à la maison lorsque j'en avais besoin. Je reviendrais ici sans hésiter.

Nice Stay The Grand Bahia Principe Punta Cana was a nice resort. The resort was clean and staff was attentive to any needs or requests. They asked to make sure our room was up to our standards and willing to fix anything that was a concern (we had little flies in our bathroom everywhere). There were lots of pools and the beach was nice. Some shopping on site which was great. They were more than accomodating helping me make calls back home when I needed to. I would stay here again without hesitation.

Dreams Royal Beach Punta Cana: Excellent personnel - Petit établissement pittoresque

Notre famille s'est rendue à Punta Cana à plusieurs reprises et c'est la première fois que nous avons séjourné au Now Larimar. Le complexe est petit et pittoresque, ce qui nous a permis d'avoir un fils de 12 ans qui a pu s'aventurer un peu seul. Le personnel est excellent et très amical. Les chambres et les équipements sont bien entretenus et toujours propres. La nourriture a besoin d'être améliorée, le buffet en particulier n'est pas très bon. Ils sont conscients de la situation puisqu'au  [... lire plus]moment du départ, ils m'ont demandé d'évaluer mon séjour et lorsque j'ai dit que vous aviez un cinq pour tout, sauf pour la nourriture, ils l'ont immédiatement reconnu. C'était une belle escapade.

Excellent Staff - Small and Quaint Resort Our family has been to Punta Cana on several occasions and this is our first time at the Now Larimar. The resort is small and quaint which worked out well as we have a 12 year old son who was able to venture out on his own a bit. The staff are excellent and very friendly. The rooms and amenities are well kept and always clean. The food needs some work however, the buffet in particular is not stellar. They are aware of the situation as at check out they asked me to rate my stay and when I said you are a five for everything except the food they immediately acknowledged that fact. This was a nice get away.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Superbe voyage !

Ce n'est pas vraiment un 5 étoiles mais c'est quand même très bien. La chambre était grande et propre. L'accès à tous les centres de villégiature était agréable. Les divertissements étaient amusants (certainement pas broadway mais c'est à prévoir). Le service de plage était excellent. Bianca était incroyable, elle nous a toujours fait sentir spéciaux sur la plage en s'occupant de nos commandes de boissons. Beaucoup de piscines. Le temps était superbe. Le buffet était bon mais pas extraordinaire. [... lire plus] Certains plats à la carte étaient incroyables. D'autres l'étaient un peu moins. Très bon rapport qualité-prix. Le personnel est très décontracté et ne fait pas tout pour que vous vous sentiez spécial. Cela ne me dérangeait pas, mais je pourrais imaginer que certaines personnes interprètent leur attitude décontractée comme de l'impolitesse. Par exemple, au restaurant gastronomique Don Pablo, notre serveur s'est littéralement approché de notre table et nous a demandé ce que nous voulions C'est tout. J'y retournerais.

Great trip! Not a truly 5 star but still very nice. Room was huge and clean. Having access to all resorts was nice. Entertainment was fun (definitely not broadway but that's to be expected). Beach service was great. Bianca was incredible, always made us feel special on the beach when taking care of our drink orders. Lots of pools. Weather was great. Buffet was good but not amazing. Some of the a la cartes were incredible. Some were so so. Very good value for the money. Staff are very laid back and didn't go out of their way to make you feel special. I was fine with it but I could see some people interpreting their laid back attitude as rude. For example, at the gourmet don Pablo restaurant, our server literally walked up to our table and said "what do you want." That's it. I'd go back.

TRS Cap Cana Hotel: Excellent centre de villégiature !

J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour à l'Alsol tiara cap cana ! Le service à la clientèle de ce complexe est excellent et l'accès à l'hôtel de luxe Alsol est un grand plus. J'ai trouvé que la taille de l'hôtel était parfaite si vous voulez passer des vacances relaxantes. Les piscines sont superbes mais la plage ne l'est pas. Mais avec une navette de 5 minutes, vous pouvez être sur l'une des plus belles plages, la plage de Juanillo. Ils ont également beaucoup d'excursions à faire, donc vous ne vous  [... lire plus]ennuierez certainement pas ;)

Great resort! Really enjoyed my stay at Alsol tiara cap cana! The customer service at this resort is great and having access to the alsol luxury hotel is a great plus. I found that the size of the resort was just perfect if you want to have a nice relaxing vacation. Pools were great but the beach isn't. But with a 5 min shuttle, you get to be on one of the nicest beaches juanillo beach. They also have plenty of excursions to do, so you definitely won't get bored ;)

Grand Palladium Palace: Un centre de villégiature formidable

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce complexe. C'était notre premier voyage en République dominicaine. Je recommanderais certainement ce complexe à d'autres personnes. Le personnel était formidable. Les chambres étaient belles et très propres. La nourriture était très bonne aussi

Majestic Mirage Punta Cana All Suite Resort: Notre escapade de mai 2017

Nous avons récemment passé une semaine au Majestic Mirage. Il y a beaucoup d'excellentes choses à propos de ce complexe, mais aussi quelques problèmes. Voici ce que nous avons trouvé. L'enregistrement. Cela a pris beaucoup trop de temps. Nous avons passé les 45 premières minutes à une heure de nos vacances à attendre que quelque chose se passe. Il n'y avait que trois couples, qui arrivaient à des moments différents, de sorte qu'il n'y avait pas d'urgence à aider les gens. Cela aurait d [... lire plus]û être fait en 15 minutes au maximum. Un autre couple qui nous précédait a finalement demandé ce qui se passait. Cela nous a conduits à notre majordome, Nelson. Il nous a aidés pour ??? On nous a dit qu'il ne faisait plus de réservations ou qu'il faisait ceci ou cela. Je ne vois pas du tout ce qu'il a pu faire pour nous aider. Notre chambre. Nous avons eu une sortie de bain et la première chose qui est sortie de nos bouches quand nous l'avons vu était WOW. Belle chambre ou plutôt 2 chambres. Superbe lit, canapé, mobilier extérieur. La dame qui s'occupait de notre chambre (Ru ?) a fait un excellent travail tous les jours. Nous recommandons le bâtiment numéro 3 dans la section adulte. Demandez une chambre à l'écart de la construction du nouveau Royalton. La piscine et les bassins de natation. Nous avons apprécié, mais il faut faire attention à certains endroits car certains carreaux ont déjà commencé à se soulever. La fête de l'écume de la piscine était amusante. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la chambre de natation et le lit Bali. Les bars. Ils utilisent des alcools haut de gamme et de vrais fruits pour créer leurs boissons. Il y avait de merveilleuses boissons à base de fruits frais. Le serveur du bar de la piscine (Andy) a même enlevé les graines de la boisson au fruit de la passion qu'il préparait pour ma femme. Le seul serveur du bar du hall a préparé du thé pour ma femme (son idée) lorsqu'il s'est rendu compte qu'elle ne se sentait pas bien et lui a accordé une attention particulière. Room service. Nous l'avons commandé une fois et il est arrivé rapidement et était bon. Le problème que nous avons eu avec le service d'étage est qu'à 1h22 du matin, ils nous ont appelés et nous ont réveillés pour nous dire que notre nourriture était en route. J'ai essayé de leur expliquer que nous n'avions pas commandé de nourriture, mais ils nous ont simplement dit qu'elle était en route et ont raccroché. Quelques minutes plus tard, un serveur est arrivé avec notre ( ?) nourriture, mais j'ai dû lui dire que nous ne l'avions pas commandée et tout ce qu'il a dit, c'est oh non et il est parti. La nourriture. Nous avons essayé tous les restaurants. Ils n'étaient pas mauvais mais pas très bons. Je pense qu'ils essaient de donner trop d'importance à un plat et il s'avère que lorsque vous le recevez, vous n'êtes pas très sûr de ce que c'est. Au restaurant Le Essence, j'ai commandé des raviolis ; je ne sais pas trop quel liquide (un bol rempli de crème) ils ont versé dessus, mais il n'y avait pas de pâtes. Le restaurant de fruits de mer était bon et la vue magnifique. Le buffet était très bon, surtout pour le petit déjeuner. Asseyez-vous dans la section "belle" de Carolina et elle s'assurera que vous avez tout ce que vous voulez. Il y a une dame au grill qui changeait de place pendant la semaine mais elle me faisait toujours mes œufs avec un grand sourire. Une bonne façon de commencer la journée. Il y a de la nourriture et des boissons partout dans le complexe. Il semble que partout où vous vous tournez, vous pouvez obtenir une boisson et quelque chose à manger ou à grignoter. Le café était également très bon près du théâtre, tant pour ses cafés spécialisés que pour ses desserts. Les divertissements. Nous avons vu la plupart des spectacles, mais nous en avons manqué quelques-uns. Des spectacles formidables, probablement parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons jamais vus dans un hôtel tout compris. Il y avait de la musique pendant deux heures avant le spectacle avec des danseurs qui invitaient les gens à danser. Après avoir observé les danseurs pendant quelques jours, j'ai remarqué que les danseurs masculins n'invitaient que les jeunes filles séduisantes à danser. Les personnes de plus de 40 ans passaient leur chemin. L'un des problèmes que nous avons rencontrés dans ce complexe est la procédure de départ. Après avoir essayé six ou sept fois de demander un réveil, puisque personne ne répondait au téléphone et que celui-ci était continuellement occupé, j'ai finalement parlé à quelqu'un du service de majordome qui a répété notre demande d'heure de réveil et m'a dit qu'il n'y aurait pas de problème. Le réveil n'a jamais eu lieu. Heureusement, nous avions un plan de secours. Nous avons ensuite confirmé à 6 h 40 que quelqu'un nous aiderait à porter nos bagages à 7 h. On nous a dit qu'il n'y avait personne pour nous aider. On nous a dit qu'il n'y avait encore personne, mais que quelqu'un nous aiderait à 19 heures. J'ai essayé de les appeler à 7 heures à plusieurs reprises, mais personne n'a répondu et personne n'est venu nous aider. Comme nous devions partir et essayer de prendre un petit déjeuner avant notre retour, nous avons porté nos propres bagages d'un bout à l'autre du complexe. Ce complexe, situé sur la magnifique plage de sable blanc d'Arena Gorda, est idéal pour les longues promenades, mais il pourrait se surpasser avec quelques changements et la mise en place de procédures cohérentes. Ils ont une belle station, beaucoup de personnel excellent, cependant, la nourriture et le manque d'attention de certains de leurs employés leur fait du mal. Y retournerions-nous ? Très probablement.

Our May 2017 get-away We recently spent a week at the Majestic Mirage resort. There were a lot of excellent things about this resort but also some problems. Here is what we found. The Check in. This took way too long. We spent the first 45 minutes to an hour of our holiday waiting for something to happen. There were only 3 couples there, coming in at different times so there was not a rush of people they had to help. This should have been done in 15 minutes at the most. Another couple that was before us finally asked what was happening. This lead us to our Butler, Nelson. He helped us with??? We were told he no longer booked reservations or does this or does that. I can’t see one thing that he helped us with. Our Room. We had a swim out and the first thing out of our mouths when we saw it was WOW. Beautiful room or should we say 2 rooms. Great bed, couch, outside furniture. The lady that looked after our room (Ru?) did a great job every day. We would recommend building number 3 in the adult section. Do request a room facing away from the construction of the new Royalton. Pool and swim-out pools. We enjoyed this but you had to be careful in spots as some of the tiles have already started to lift. The pool foam party was fun. We really enjoyed the swim out room and Bali bed. The Bars. They used high-end liquor and real fruit to create their drinks. They had some wonderful fresh fruit drinks. The swim out bar-tender (Andy) even strained out the seeds in the passion fruit drink he was making for my wife. The one bar tender in the lobby bar made my wife some tea (his idea) when he found out that she wasn’t feeling well and gave her special attention. Room service. We ordered it once and it came quickly and was good. The problem we had with room service was that at 1:22 am one morning they called and woke us up to tell us our food was on the way. I tried to explain to them that we did not order food but they just told us that it was on the way and hung up. A couple of minutes later, a waiter came with our (?) food but I had to tell him that we did not order it and all he said was oh no and walked away. The food. We tried all the restaurants. They were not bad but not very good. I think they try to make too much out of a dish and it turns out that when you receive it, you are no too sure what it is. In Le Essence, I ordered ravioli; I’m not too sure what liquid (bowl full of cream) they poured over it but there was no pasta. The seafood restaurant was good and a beautiful view. The buffet was very good especially for breakfast. Sit in the “beautiful” Carolina section and she will make sure you have everything that you would want. There is a lady in the grill that switched places during the week but she always made my eggs for me with a big smile. A good way to start the day. There is food and drink all over the resort. It seems that everywhere you turn you can get a drink and have something to eat or nibble on. The coffee place was also very good by the theatre for both their specialty coffees and desserts. The entertainment. We saw most of the shows but missed a couple of them. Great shows probably some of the best we have ever seen in an all-inclusive. They had music for a couple of hours before the show with dancers that would ask people up to dance. After watching the dancers for a few days, I did notice that the male dancers would only ask young attractive girls to dance. Anyone over 40 they would just walk by. One of the problem we had with the resort was with the check-out process. After trying six or seven times to request a wake-up call, since no one would answer the phone and then it was continually busy, I finally talked to some one at the Butler service and they repeated our wake- up time request and said there would be no problem. The wake up call never came. Luckily, we had a back-up plan. We then confirmed at 6:40 am that someone would help us with our luggage at seven. We were told that there was no one there yet but someone would help us at seven. I tried to call them at 7 multiple times but no one answered and no one came to help us. Since we had to leave and try to get some breakfast before our return trip we carried our own luggage from one end of the resort to the other end. This resort, located on the beautiful white sand Arena Gorda beach, is great for long walks, could go over the top with a few changes and some consistent procedures in place. They have a beautiful resort, a lot of excellent staff, however, the food and lack of caring by some of their staff is hurting them. Would we go back? Most likely.
