Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Le meilleur

C'est le meilleur 5* que nous ayons jamais eu ! Les jardins, le hall, les bars, les buffets et les plats à la carte étaient luxueux et abondants. Les piscines étaient immenses et comment se tromper avec la plage de Bavaro... on peut y marcher éternellement ! Nos deux buffets proposaient une vaste sélection de plats délicieux, aussi bons que les plats à la carte, mais plus variés Le personnel a été trié sur le volet pour faire de ce séjour une expérience fantastique pour les touristes. Nous avons [... lire plus] déjà visité les complexes Secrets et Sandals (et ils sont supérieurs), mais le Bahai Principe Ambar était le 5* le plus luxueux que nous ayons jamais visité ! Nous remercions chaleureusement notre conseillère en vacances Tammy Beamish d'avoir recommandé Bahai et d'avoir réservé notre billet en première classe auprès d'Air Canada. Les clients du centre de villégiature venaient du monde entier... il était intéressant d'entendre autant de conversations multilingues... et tout le monde était très amical... c'était une expérience formidable !

The Best THis was the best 5* we have ever enjoyed! The grounds, lobby, bars, buffets, and a la cartes were luxurious and plentiful. The pools were huge and how could you ever go wrong with Bavaro beach...one can walk forever!! Our 2 buffets had huge selections of delicious foods...as good as the a la cartes..only more variety! The staff were hand-picked to make this a fantastic holiday for their guest tourists. We have been to the Secrets and Sandals resorts (and they are superior) but Bahai Principe Ambar was the most luxurious 5* we have yet to visit!!! Our full THANKS go to ourTripCentral vacation advisor, Tammy Beamish, for recommending Bahai and booking our first class ticket with Air Canada Bahai is now added to our list of Super(ior) Resorts. The resort guests were from all over the world...interesting to hear so many multi-lingual conversations...and everyone super friendly...great experience!!!

Positif : Service extraordinaire Animation autour de la piscine et la nuit Immense resort donc il y a toujours quelque chose à faire. Restaurants à la carte très bons (italien et péruvien en particulier) Négatif : Le personnel a commencé à nettoyer et à faire du bruit à 6 heures du matin tous les jours Il faut faire attention aux représentants du Club Privilégié. Les vendeurs dans le village sont ennuyeux et harcèlent les clients. La nourriture au buffet était parfois froide (pour un  [... lire plus]5 étoiles, c'est inacceptable) Pas d'alcool fort dans la chambre et pas de room service (les 5 étoiles en proposent habituellement) Commentaire général : Ce complexe est annoncé comme un 5 étoiles mais ce n'est pas le cas. La section Ambar est un vrai 5 étoiles. Pas d'alcool fort dans la chambre ni de service d'étage. Nous avons obtenu un prix fantastique pour ce complexe, donc cela n'a pas d'importance. Les chambres commencent à être un peu datées. J'espère que les chambres fraîchement rénovées de l'Amber seront étendues à la section Aquamarine.

Overall very good vacation Positive: Amazing service Animation around the pool and at night Huge resort so there's always something to do. À la carte restaurants very good (Italian and Peruvian especially) Negative: Staff started cleaning and making noise at 6AM everyday Need to watch for Privileged Club reps. Vendors in the village are annoying and harass guests. Food at buffet was sometime cold. (for a 5 star this is unacceptable) No hard liquor in the room and no room service (5 stars usually offer) General comment: This resort is advertised as a 5 stars but it isn't. The Ambar section is a true 5 stars. No hard liquor in the room or room service. We got a fantastic price for this resort so this didn't matter. Rooms are started to be a little dated. Hoping that they extend the freshly renovated rooms of the Amber to the Aquamarine section eventually.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: La première formule "tout compris" pour notre famille a été une déception.

La première impression a été mauvaise et l'établissement ne s'en est jamais vraiment remis. L'aspect visuel de la propriété est magnifique, mais le service est médiocre et parfois inexistant. La barrière de la langue est très présente et il est arrivé que nous ne recevions rien alors que nous avions demandé quelque chose ou que l'on nous donne le(s) mauvais service(s). Je m'attendais à ce qu'il y ait du personnel de service dans les zones où les gens se rassemblent. Or, à trois reprises au moin [... lire plus]s, nous avons attendu entre 60 et 120 minutes avant que quelqu'un ne nous demande si nous voulions une boisson. Je pensais que les pourboires nous aideraient à recevoir un meilleur service, mais cela n'a pas été le cas. Le tabagisme est insupportable. Il est constant et omniprésent. Il y avait des mégots de cigarettes sur la terrasse de la piscine, sur tout le terrain et, pire encore, sur la plage. La plage n'était en fait qu'un gigantesque tas de cendres. Ma fille cadette allait creuser dans le sable, mais il n'y avait que des mégots sous un centimètre de sable, partout. Enfin, les vendeurs qui viennent vous presser d'acheter ceci ou cela. Je comprends, ils essaient de gagner leur vie, mais j'ai payé cher pour me détendre (ou essayer de le faire), et me faire demander 20 à 30 fois par jour si je veux faire une excursion ou acheter des bijoux, etc... c'est un peu trop. Sans compter que sur la place du marché, les vendeurs sont tellement agressifs que mes filles avaient peur d'y aller pour chercher des souvenirs.

First all inclusive for our family was a disappointment. The first impression was bad, and they never really recovered. The visual appearance of the property is beautiful, however the service is poor and at times non-existent. The language barrier is very prevalent and at times caused us to receive nothing while asking for something or to be given the wrong service(s). I would expect there to be service people working the general areas that people congregate. However, on at least 3 occasions we waited for 60 - 120 minutes for anyone to ask us if we would like a drink. I thought tipping would help us to receive better service, but that turned out to not be the case. The smoking is unbearable. it is constant and it is everywhere. There were cigarette butts on the pool deck, all over the grounds and worst of all everywhere on the beach. The beach was really just a giant sand ash try. My youngest daughter was going to dig in the sand, but it was nothing but butts under an inch of sand, everywhere. gross. Lastly, the vendors that come around and pressure you to buy this, or buy that. I get it, they are trying to make a living, but I paid good money to relax (or try to), and to be asked 20-30 times a day if I want to go on an excursion or buy some jewelry etc... is a bit much. Not to mention, in the market place the vendors are so aggressive my daughters were afraid to go there to look for souvenirs'.

Comme je l'ai dit, l'hôtel est magnifique mais c'est là que ça s'arrête.le service dépend de la partie de l'hôtel où vous vous trouvez, c'est un peu aléatoire.l'extérieur de la piscine autour de la piscine est comme de la glace quand elle est mouillée.mes deux enfants sont tombés plusieurs fois et pas en courant, ma mère a fini à l'hôpital après avoir glissé après être sortie de la piscine.plusieurs autres personnes que j'ai vues sont tombées.la nourriture était correcte et le choix est très pet [... lire plus]it, les boissons ne sont pas bonnes du tout.j'ai été dans une quinzaine de complexes hôteliers et beaucoup d'entre eux sont des Bahia et j'ai remarqué que la chaîne est en train de décliner lentement.mais c'était un beau complexe.personne n'a vérifié si ma mère allait bien ou quoi que ce soit après avoir dû être dans un fauteuil roulant pendant 4 jours de ses vacances.nous avons 2 enfants et c'était toujours une corvée pour qu'ils réapprovisionnent le réfrigérateur dans les chambres pour qu'ils puissent boire.je ne recommanderais ce complexe hôtelier à personne.

Beautiful resort but thats it Like i said the resort was beautiful but thats where it ends.service depending what part of the resort you were at was touch and go.the outside of pool area surrounding the pool is like ice when its wet.both my children fell several times and not from running my mother ended up in the hospital from slipping after getting out of the pool several other people i watched fall.food was alright and selection is very small drinks not good at all.i have been to about 15 or more resorts and alot of them are bahia and i have noticed the chain is slowly going down hill.but it was a beautiful resort.nobody checked to see if my mother was fine or anything after having to be in a wheelchair for 4 days of her vacation.we have 2 children and it was always a chore to get them to restock the fridge in the rooms for them to drink.i wouldnt recomend this resort to anyone.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Très bonne station

Very good resort The staff at this resort are awesome, very friendly and helpful. Resort well layed out. Room are nice the view is spectacular. The food is good. Only draw back are the steps, you can not go from one area to another without doing steps. Especially getting to the beach. But I would return

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Ok

Le personnel était excellent, gentil et plein d'humour. Le complexe était propre et joli, tout comme la plage et l'océan. La nourriture était correcte. Ce qui m'a déçu, c'est ma chambre de première classe ! La vue était magnifique, mais le luxueux lit king size que je devais avoir n'était qu'un lit double ! La salle de bain de la première classe avait besoin d'un sérieux travail : il manquait beaucoup de coulis entre les carreaux et ce qui tenait la porte en verre était desserré au plafond ! L'h [... lire plus]orloge était cassée (elle a été remplacée), la télévision🤨and j'ai été horrifié de trouver de la moisissure noire dans le menu du service de chambre !!!

The staff were excellent, sweet kind and great sense of humour. The resort was clean and pretty as was the gorgeous beach and ocean. Food was fair. What was disappointing was my first class room! While the view was stunning, the luxurious king size bed I was to have was a double! The first class bathroom needed serious work..there was a lot of grout missing between the tiles and what ever was holding the glass door was loose at the ceiling!! The clock was broken(eventually replaced) tv🤨and I was horrified to find black mold in my room service menu!!!

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Décevant, peut-être 3 étoiles

Tout d'abord, le temps était fabuleux, la plage et l'océan, époustouflants. Ma chambre de première classe était très décevante ! J'étais censé avoir un luxueux lit king size...c'était un double🙠! Ma salle de bain de première classe... il manquait beaucoup de joints entre les carreaux... dégueulasse ! et ce qui retenait la porte en verre était détaché du plafond ! La chambre a été gardée impeccable par les gentilles femmes de chambre. Le personnel était gentil, poli et avait un excellent sens de l'humour. La zone de villégiature était jolie et propre.

Disappointing maybe 3 star First off the weather was fabulous, the beach and ocean..stunning. My first class room was very disappointing! I was supposed to have a luxurious king size bed...it was a double🙁! Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Endroit décent pour une escapade

En général, notre semaine de vacances s'est bien passée : vol direct de Toronto au petit aéroport tranquille de Samana avec contrôle rapide des passeports et formalités douanières, transfert assez court de l'aéroport au complexe, enregistrement rapide (parce que nous connaissions les règles de la visite précédente et que nous nous sommes détachés du groupe depuis le bus, sinon nous aurions perdu du temps), nourriture et boissons tout au long de la journée et plages remarquables non seulement dan [... lire plus]s les limites du complexe, mais surtout en dehors. Il semble que la direction de l'hôtel soit très attentive aux commentaires des clients et nous n'avons pas manqué de chaises-longues sur la plage, il y en avait beaucoup. Cependant, quelques remarques devraient être adressées à la direction de l'hôtel pour qu'elle apporte des améliorations. Le nettoyage des chambres devrait être mieux organisé et moins contraignant pour les clients. Le premier jour de notre séjour, nous sommes revenus à la chambre vers 16 heures et notre chambre n'avait pas encore été nettoyée. Nous avons simplement demandé à la femme de chambre de nous apporter des serviettes fraîches. Le deuxième jour, notre chambre n'a pas été nettoyée à 16h30 et j'ai dû parler à l'administrateur de la réception pour accélérer la procédure. Nous n'avons pas pu appréhender l'horaire du nettoyage des chambres, mais il est certain que les clients ne devraient pas adapter leur temps aux opérations de nettoyage. Le deuxième problème concerne la porte d'entrée de la chambre. Nous n'avons pas pu l'ouvrir complètement parce qu'elle butait contre le sol, mais nous n'en avons pas fait toute une histoire. Nous n'avons pas pu entrer dans la chambre à trois reprises et avons dû attendre qu'un agent de sécurité ouvre la serrure, puis qu'un agent de service la répare. La troisième fois, nous avons simplement demandé à changer de chambre et nous avons eu la belle chambre pour une nuit. Mais comme je l'ai mentionné en préambule, ces quelques désagréments n'ont pas gâché nos vacances et nous reviendrons certainement bientôt.

Decent place for getaway In general our week of vacation has been spent well: direct flight from Toronto to small quiet Samana airport with quick passport control and Customs formalities, rather short transfer from airport to resort, prompt check-in (because we knew the rules from previous visit and broke away from the group from the bus, otherwise we would waste the time), food and drinks all day long and remarkable beaches not only within resort limits but specially outside of them. It looks like resort management really pays attention to the guests reviews and we saw no any shortage of chaise-longues on the beach, there were plenty of them. But a few remarks should be addressed to resort management for further improvements. Room cleaning should be better organized with less hassles to the guests. On the first day of stay we came back to the room around 4pm and our room was not attended yet. We simply asked the maid for the fresh towels. On the second day our room was not cleaned at 4.30pm and I had to talk to the administrator at the front desk to expedite the procedure. We could not apprehend the schedule for room cleaning but certainly the guests should not adapt their time to the cleaning operations. The second issue is the room entry door. We could not open it to the full opening because it ground against the floor but we did not make a big deal of that. The big deal was the lock - we could not get into the room three times and had to wait for security guy to open the lock and then for service guy to fix it. On the third time we simply demanded to change the room and had the nice room for one night. But as I mentioned in preamble a few nuisances did not spoil our vacation and we will definitely come back again soon.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Superbe voyage !

J'ai passé un excellent moment au Bahia Principe Punta Cana en mai 2019. Le temps, les plages et les piscines étaient superbes. Très peu ou pas d'algues le long du tronçon de plage. Grande disponibilité de chaises et de parasols à la plage et aux piscines. Le personnel était très sympathique. Les chambres étaient propres et bien aménagées. Le complexe est bien entretenu. L'aménagement paysager est vraiment magnifique. Le service de navette est très efficace et fonctionne sans interrupti [... lire plus]on dans tout le complexe.

Great trip! Had a great time at the Bahia Principe Punta Cana May 2019. The weather, beaches and pools were great. Very little to no seaweed along the stretch of beach. Ample availability of chairs and umbrellas at the beach and pools. Staff were very friendly. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The resort is well maintained. The landscaping is really beautiful. Very efficient shuttle service running non-stop throughout the resort.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: J'ai hâte de revenir !

Nous avons séjourné ici la semaine du 13 mai. Notre mari, nos fils de 7 et 3 ans et moi-même. Nous avons été surclassés au Diamond Club, ce qui nous a permis de bénéficier d'un enregistrement privé et d'une boisson fraîche à l'arrivée. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, des piscines à la plage en passant par le parc aquatique. Les spectacles étaient bons, c'était bien d'en avoir deux au choix tous les soirs. Can't wait to return!! We stayed here the week of May 13th Husband 7an 3 year old sons an myself. We did upgrade to the Diamond Club which was nice to have a private check-in with a cold drink on arrival. We had an amazing time from the pools to the beach an water park. The show's were good it was nice having 2 to chose from every night. The staff go above an beyond to make sure all your needs are taken care of. We are already planning on returning.

TRS Turquesa: Grand centre de villégiature

Le terrain est fantastique, les plages sont propres et nous avons passé la plupart de nos journées dans un cabanon. Heureusement, le dernier jour, beaucoup d'algues se sont échouées sur la plage. Une fois que les algues se sont échouées sur la plage, il faut au moins une journée pour que le chargeur frontal les enlève. Resort Les piscines sont très propres et il y a beaucoup de piscines autour des bâtiments. Le spa est très agréable et la nourriture y est la meilleure pour les en-cas et les pet [... lire plus]its déjeuners. Le grand groupe avec lequel nous sommes allés l'a aussi beaucoup apprécié. La salle de sport était très bien et pratique. Grand choix de restaurants sur le resort. J'ai trouvé la nourriture correcte. Les transports autour du grand complexe sont pratiques et rapides.

Great resort Grounds were fantastic, beaches are clean and we spent most days at a cabana. Luckily the last day we were there a lot of seaweed washed up on the beach. Once the seaweed washed up on the beach it takes at least a day for the front-end loader to clear it away. Resort Pools are very clean and there are a lot of pools around the buildings. Spa was very nice and the food there I found the best for snacks and small breakfast. The large group we went with really liked it as well. The gym was great and convenient. Great selection of restaurants on the resort. I found the food to be ok. Transportation around the large resort is convenient and fast.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Vacances très relaxantes

L'hôtel est situé dans un cadre magnifique. La plage est parfaite avec une eau claire et de beaux récifs coralliens avec des poissons, vous pouvez marcher sur la plage à gauche et à droite de l'hôtel pendant des kilomètres et profiter de la vue. L'hôtel est agréable, la nourriture est bonne et l'environnement général est amical et relaxant. L'hôtel est parfait pour les couples qui veulent se détendre et profiter du calme, pour les familles avec enfants.

Very relaxing vacation The hotel is in a very beautiful setting. The beach is perfect with clear water and nice coral reefs with fish, you can walk on the beach left and right side of the hotel for kilometers and enjoy the view. The hotel is nice, food is good and the overall environment is friendly and relaxing. The hotel is perfect for couples who want to relax and enjoy quiet time, for families with children.

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Vacances en famille

Nous avons beaucoup aimé l'agencement de ce complexe, les chambres, le restaurant, la piscine et la plage étant tous proches les uns des autres. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité en laissant nos enfants se promener. La piscine et la plage sont magnifiques. Superbe pour faire de la plongée avec tuba à la plage. Les chambres étaient bien, le seul reproche que l'on puisse faire c'est que l'on n'arrêtait pas de se faire enfermer à l'extérieur de notre chambre. Le problème a finalement été résolu [... lire plus] le dernier jour. Le resort s'adresse aux locaux les week-ends en basse saison. La piscine et les restaurants peuvent être bondés. Malheureusement, les locaux avec qui nous avons eu affaire étaient impolis, nous étions heureux de les voir partir. Le service a été excellent toute la semaine jusqu'à ce que les locaux arrivent, puis il change, le personnel semblait grincheux et débordé. La nourriture n'est pas géniale. Le petit déjeuner est le même tous les jours. Le restaurant italien était bon. Il y a un centre commercial à environ 5 minutes à pied, ce qui était agréable. Le temps était fabuleux ! On peut donc oublier les inconvénients. J'y retournerais si le prix était correct.

Family Vacation We really liked the layout of this resort, rooms, restaurant, pool and beach were all close together. We felt safe letting our kids roam around. Pool and beach are wonderful. Great for snorkeling at the beach. Rooms were good, the only complaint we kept being locked out of our room. It was finally fixed on our last day. The resort caters to locals on the weekends during low season. Can get crowded at pool and restaurants. Unfortunately the locals we had to deal with were rude, we were glad to see them leave. The service was great all week until the locals came than it changes, staff seemed grumpy and overwhelmed. Food is not great. Breakfast is the same everyday. Italian restaurant was good. There is a mall about a 5 minute walk which was nice. The weather was fabulous! So you can overlook the bad. I would go back if the price was right.

Riu Bambu: Très bon

Le Riu Bambu était très agréable, il y avait un mélange de jeunes et de personnes plus âgées, ce qui en faisait un bon mélange, et il y avait quelque chose pour tout le monde. C'était très animé, il y avait beaucoup de divertissements, des fêtes au bord de la piscine et le personnel était très sympathique et accessible.

Very good The Riu Bambu was very nice , it was a mix of younger , older people which made it a great mix , and had something for everybody . It was very lively, a lot of entertainment , pool party’s and the staff were very friendly and approachable .

Il s'agit d'un magnifique complexe hôtelier situé sur la meilleure plage de Punta Cana ! Il faut 20 minutes pour marcher sur la plage d'un bout à l'autre du complexe. Les restaurants sont excellents et il y a beaucoup de choses à faire pour les enfants et les adultes. Le personnel est très amical et professionnel. Barcelo Bavaro Palace is an Amazing Resort! This Is a beautiful mega resort on the best beach in Punta Cana! It takes 20 minutes to walk on the beach from one end to the other end of the resort. Great restaurants and lots of things to do for both kids and adults. Staff are very friendly and professional. If you want to have a relaxing & fun vacation this is a great place to go. Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Un lieu de villégiature incontournable

La nourriture est excellente, les plages sont spectaculaires, les chambres sont incomparables, il est facile de se déplacer, le personnel est super, le service au bar est excellent, la piscine Relax est vraiment relaxante, le trajet depuis l'aéroport est pittoresque. Nous attendons avec impatience notre cinquième visite.

A Must Return Resort Food is excellent, beaches are spectacular, room second to none, easy to get around, super staff, great bar service, Relax Pool is really relaxing, scenic drive from the airport. Looking forward to our fifth visit soon.

Bahia Principe Explore Legend: un excellent centre de vacances pour les enfants

Tout d'abord, je voudrais dire que c'était ma quatrième visite au Bahia Fantais à Punta Cana. Si vous avez des enfants, c'est l'hôtel qu'il vous faut, le personnel se donne beaucoup de mal pour les divertir. Cette section de Bahia a tellement de joyaux cachés comme son propre bar à pizza près du parc aquatique ainsi que des popsicles et des glaces ! Au moins 2 jours par semaine, ils installent de grands toboggans gonflables dans la piscine principale pour tous les âges ! top notch resort for kids First off I'd like to say this was my 4th visit to bahia fantais in Punta cana. If you have kids thisbis the resort to go to the staff go out of there way to entertain the kids. This section of bahia has so many hidden gems like it's own pizza bar by the waterpark aswell as popsicles and icecream!. Atleast 2days a week they put big blow up slides in the main pool or all ages to use! Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: De superbes vacances !

L'hôtel était très bien, notre chambre était très propre. La plage était littéralement à 2 minutes à pied de notre chambre. Le personnel de Confresi était très poli et amical. La nourriture était correcte. Le prix que nous avons payé était assez bas si l'on considère que nous avions la piscine, les cabanas et la plage pour nous seuls ! Je retournerai certainement avec mes amis et ma famille dans ce complexe !

Great vacation! The hotel was great, our room was very clean. It was literally a 2min walk to the beach from our room. Confresi staffs were very polite and friendly. Food was okay. The price we paid was pretty descent considering we had the pool, cabanas and beach to ourselves! I would definitely go back with my friends and family again to this resort!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Super destination de vacances

Le terrain de l'hôtel est propre et bien entretenu, de même que la plage et la piscine. Les chambres sont bien entretenues, le personnel est excellent et très amical. La nourriture, que ce soit dans les restaurants ou au buffet, est excellente. L'hôtel vaut vraiment le coup et mérite que l'on y retourne pour les vacances.

Super vacation destination The hotel grounds are clean and well kept , as well as the beach and pool areas. The rooms are well maintained ,the staff are second to none and very friendly. The food, be it the restaurants or the buffet is excellent. Definitely worth the value and well worth a return holiday visit.
