Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Magnifique centre de villégiature !

Le site est magnifique et bien entretenu. Bonne variété de nourriture, personnel extrêmement agréable et serviable. La plage était magnifique - eau claire et corail juste à côté de la plage pour faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba. L'hôtel est idéal pour les enfants - buffet pour enfants, club pour enfants et jeux. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute !

Beautiful resort! The resort grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Good variety of food, staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The beach was amazing - clear water with coral right off the beach for snorkelling. Great resort for kids - kids buffet section, kids club and games. We'll definitely be going back!

Cayo Levantado Resort: Vacances tranquilles sur l'île

Le complexe est très isolé, bien entretenu et parfait pour une semaine de détente. Le terrain est très luxuriant et bien entretenu. L'île comporte de nombreuses collines, certaines plus abruptes que d'autres. Le complexe est très étendu et ne s'est jamais senti à l'étroit. Les restaurants Rodizio et Don Pablo étaient les meilleurs pour le dîner. Le buffet du Rodizio pour le petit-déjeuner ou le déjeuner était pratique et offrait un choix décent. Le service de boissons autour des piscines et dans [... lire plus] le hall était rapide et amical. La chambre de la villa était grande avec un immense balcon, parfait pour se détendre avant de sortir pour la nuit. Dans l'ensemble, un centre de villégiature fantastique et mémorable.

Quiet, laid back island vacation The resort is very secluded, well maintained and perfect for a week of relaxing. The grounds are very lush and well maintained. The island has many hills, some areas steeper than others. The resort is very spread out & never felt crowded. The Rodizio & Don Pablo restaurants were the best for dinner. The buffet at Rodizio for breakfast or lunch was convenient & had decent selection. Drink service around the pools and in the lobby was quick & friendly. The villa room was large with a huge balcony, perfect for relaxing on before leading out for the night. Overall, a fantastic, memorable resort.

un grand rapport qualité/prix, un terrain magnifique et entretenu tous les jours, un endroit superbe et un personnel très sympathique. Un grand merci à Roberto au bar des sports et à Ceasar à la petite piscine, ils ont rendu les vacances encore plus agréables

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Grande plage, la moitié de la famille est tombée malade.

L'hôtel était basique et correspondait à ce que nous attendions d'un 3,5 étoiles. Notre famille avait réservé cinq chambres et attendait ces vacances depuis des années. Tout nous a satisfait, sauf le plus important : ma femme a été malade pendant la moitié de son séjour et la moitié de la famille a également eu quelques jours de maladie.........Pas amusant.

Great beach, half of the family got sick. Hotel was basic and what we expected from a 3.5 star. Our family booked five rooms and had been looking forward to this vacation for years. Everything was to our satisfaction except the big one.......my wife was sick for half of her time there and half of the family also had a couple of sick days.........NOT fun.

La nourriture était excellente. Le buffet était meilleur que les restaurants de spécialités. La plage était parfaite pour se promener mais pas pour nager car il y avait trop de corail. On s'est laissé entraîner dans le Bahia PrÃncipe Privilege Club. On nous a dit qu'il n'était pas nécessaire d'acheter quoi que ce soit, mais c'est exactement ce que c'était......a time share.

Great trip Food was great. Buffet was better than the specialty restaurants. Beach was great for walking but not good for swimming as there was too much coral. Got sucked into the Bahia Príncipe Privilege Club. We were told that you didn't have to buy anything but that's exactly what it was......a time share.

L'hôtel, la nourriture, les terrains étaient magnifiques et bien entretenus ! Le personnel était amical et très serviable ! Mais si vous cherchez un hôtel avec des animations en soirée, je vous conseille d'aller voir ailleurs. Nous voulions prendre quelques verres après le dîner et, à moins que vous ne soyez français et que vous ne recherchiez un bar totalement décontracté avec des animations qui vous endorment, vous ne trouverez pas ce que vous cherchez ici ! Nous avons adoré le complexe et tou [... lire plus]t ce qui s'y trouve, mais nous avons été très déçus par le manque de divertissements de qualité. Pour être honnête, je comparerais cela à un karaoké bon marché la plupart des soirs. A part cela, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour !

Nice Beach, Don't go for the Entertainment! Hotel, Food, Grounds were beautiful and well kept! Staff were friendly and very helpful! But if you are looking for a resort with upbeat evening entertainment I would suggest looking elsewhere. We wanted to have a few drinks after dinner and unless you are French and looking for a totally mellow bar with entertainment that makes you fall asleep, you won't find what you are looking for here! We loved the resort and everything overall just were very disappointed with the lack of quality entertainment. I would compare it to cheap karaoke most evenings to be honest. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

L'île est magnifique, cela ne fait aucun doute. Nous n'avons juste pas été impressionnés par le manque de sévérité de l'ensemble et la qualité de la nourriture était très médiocre. Nous avons séjourné au Bahia dans toute la République Dominicaine et c'est le seul où nous ne dépenserions pas l'argent pour y retourner. Nous avons dépensé trop d'argent pour le voyage, qui coûtait 2 000 dollars canadiens par personne. Nous aurions dû avoir un meilleur service et une meilleure nourriture pour ce prix [... lire plus]. La visite a été très agréable, comme je l'ai dit, mais au quatrième jour, nous voulions partir A chacun son métier je suppose P.S. not what we expected The island is beautiful no doubt. We just we not impressed with the overall lack of severe throughout and the food quality was very poor. We have stayed at the bahia throughout the Dominican and this is the only one we would not spend the money to return too. Spent to much for the trip as it was being 2k each Canadian. We should have had better service and food for that price. Lovely to visit as I said but by day 4 we wanted to leave To each their own I guess P.s do not get any drinks from the pool bar that are mixed from the slushy machines.. full of bacteria. Trust me

Magnifique plage, fantastique pour les familles et le complexe était propre avec un personnel sympathique. On peut faire de la plongée avec tuba juste à côté de la plage et il y a beaucoup d'ombre naturelle. Beaucoup d'endroits différents pour manger avec une bonne variété de nourriture.

amazing resort Beautiful beach, fantastic for families and the resort was clean with friendly staff. Snorkling right off the beach and plenty of natural shade. Lots of different beautiful areas to eat with a good variety of food.

Nous avons trouvé ce complexe très propre, offrant un excellent service, avec un personnel merveilleux, un hébergement de qualité et enfin une plage magnifique ! Nous avons tous passé un excellent moment ! Le trajet a duré environ une heure, mais il était très pittoresque. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute !

Fantastic all around! We found this resort to be very clean, offering excellent service and has wonderful staff, great accommodations and lastly a wonderful beach!! It was a great time for all of us!! The drive took about an hour but it was very scenic. We would definitely go again!!

un endroit merveilleux pour notre famille élargie... une grande plage....les chambres et la nourriture sont correctes....nous avons été à Punta Cana de nombreuses fois et avons essayé ce complexe pour des raisons "d'argent" pour notre groupe de 13.....a plupart d'entre nous ont eu des problèmes avec les courses, certains mal....la plomberie dans l'hôtel est mauvaise, en particulier autour des zones de plage et je me demande si les problèmes de plomberie sont liés à une mauvaise gestion des zones [... lire plus] de cuisine....90 minutes de route depuis l'aéroport MAIS c'est une route panoramique magnifique.....nous n'y retournerions PAS simplement à cause des problèmes intestinaux.....le personnel est formidable avec un anglais limité mais c'est notre faute car nous n'avons pas essayé d'apprendre leur langue.....le gérant du bar, Santiago, est une personne merveilleuse

GREAT beach.....average resort.....don't go wonderful place for our extended family...great beach....rooms and food OK....have been to Punta Cana many times and tried this resort for "money" reasons for our group of 13.....most of us had problems with the runs, some badly....the plumbing in the hotel is poor especially around the beach area's and I wonder if the plumbing issues are related to poor management of the kitchen area's....90 minute drive from the airport BUT it is a wonderful scenic drive.....we would NOT go back simply because of the intestinal problems.....the staff are great with limited English but that is our fault for not trying to learn their language.....the Bar Manager, Santiago, is a wonderful person

J'ai absolument adoré cette propriété ! C'est le plus beau Baha'i où j'ai séjourné en termes d'agencement et d'ambiance. Le seul problème était le service au début de mes 10 jours, mais lorsque nous nous sommes familiarisés avec le personnel, il s'est amélioré ! J'espère revenir avec toute ma famille !

Extraordinary property ! I absolutely loved this property ! The nicest Baha'i I have ever stayed out for layout & ambiance. The only issue was service at the beginning of my 10 days but as we got to be familiar with staff it improved! Hope to return with my whole family !

La nourriture est bonne. Les chambres sont un peu vieilles mais toujours très bien. Le parc aquatique est incroyable. Nos trois enfants l'ont beaucoup apprécié et y sont allés littéralement tous les jours. Bon endroit. Le personnel est très serviable et formidable.

Good resort for kids Foods are good. Good for buttet standard. rooms are a little old but still quite good. The water park is amazing. Our three kids quite enjoying it and literally went there every day. Good place. Staff are very hepful and amazing.

Bahia Principe Escape Samana: Un cadre absolument parfait

Ce complexe est niché sur une falaise avec de nombreuses aires de repos. Le complexe est absolument magnifique et l'environnement chaleureux. La nourriture est délicieuse ! N'hésitez pas à prendre le bateau pour l'île de Bacardi et à passer la journée sur la plage de sable blanc, tout en dégustant des fruits de mer frais.

Absolutely picture perfect setting This resort is nested on a cliff like setting with ample lounging areas the resort is absolutely beautiful with friendly environment food is delicious! Definitely take the boat across to Bacardi island and spend the day on the white sand beach and have some fresh seafood.

Deuxième visite et tout aussi parfait que la première. Les gens sont très accueillants et la nourriture est excellente. La plage est magnifique et la plongée avec masque et tuba est excellente ! Nous avons amené un grand groupe avec nous et tout le monde a adoré. Nous reviendrons certainement pour une troisième fois troisième fois.

Love El Portillo! Second time visiting and just as perfect as the first. People are sooo friendly and food is amazing. The beach is beautiful and snorkeling is great! We brought a big group with us and everyone loved it. Definitely will return for a third time.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Fabulous Resort

J'ai séjourné trois fois dans ce complexe et je sais que j'y reviendrai. Le personnel est exceptionnel et les terrains et équipements sont très bien entretenus. La nourriture est merveilleuse, avec une grande variété quotidienne. Grand choix de boissons internationales et de première qualité. La vue est spectaculaire. Si vous aimez les températures chaudes, le calme et l'isolement, c'est l'endroit idéal.

I have been to this resort 3 times and know I will return again. The staff are exceptional and the grounds and amenities very well maintained. The food is wonderful with a large variety daily. Large selection of international and premium beverages. The view is spectacular. If you like hot weather in a premium and quiet and secluded venue than this is the place to go.

Superbe complexe situé dans une belle partie de Samana. Vue imprenable sur l'océan. Les gens sont merveilleux, ils sont toujours souriants et offrent un service de qualité. La nourriture était très variée et les restaurants à la carte étaient également très bons.

Awesome resort Great resort situated in a beautiful part of samana. Had great views of the ocean. People there were wonderful and they always have a smile and offer rest service. Food was food with good selection and a la carte restaurants were good as well.

Après un trajet d'une heure en autocar depuis l'aéroport de Samana, suivi d'un court trajet de 15 minutes en bateau-navette, vous débarquez sur Paradise Island. Accueil professionnel et chaleureux du personnel, entouré d'un hall d'accueil, de terrasses, de villas, de piscines, de terrains impeccablement entretenus et d'une flore naturelle respectée. J'ai passé une semaine merveilleuse, la seule erreur que j'ai commise a été de ne pas réserver pour 2 semaines, ou 10 jours au moins. Welcome to Paradise Island After a 1hr coach ride from Samana airport, followed by a short 15 min. boat shuttle ride you then land on Paradise Island. Professional, warm greetings from staff, surrounded by impeccably maintained reception lobby, terraces, villas, pools, grounds respected natural flora. I had a wonderful week, only error I made was not to book for 2 weeks, or 10 days at least. Food: amazing, well prepared, beautifully presented, decadent! Service: professional all around.

Plage fantastique, terrain très bien entretenu, services impressionnants. Dès l'arrivée à l'aéroport, tout se déroule comme prévu, à commencer par l'enregistrement initial et l'accompagnement complet. C'est le premier endroit pour nous où la musique de danse est payante tous les soirs après 19h30 et où l'on peut vraiment s'amuser et danser sans attendre l'heure de la discothèque de 22h30. Nous adorons cet endroit et voulons y revenir dès que possible.

All you can dream about your vacation Fantastic beach, excellent kept grounds, impressive services. Since you land at the airport everything is on schedule starting with the initial check in and full guidance. This was the first place for us where every night dance music was paying after 7:30pm and you can really have fun and dance without waitting for the 10:30 disco time. we love this place end want to come back ASAP.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Un petit coin de paradis

L'emplacement - l'emplacement - l'emplacement, c'est tout ce qui compte ici. Ce complexe est situé sur une île tropicale magnifique, avec des plages à couper le souffle où se mêlent nature et sable blanc, notamment la célèbre plage Bacardi. Si vous cherchez un endroit qui ne soit pas coincé entre des centaines d'hôtels sur la plage et où il n'y a pas de marchands ambulants qui vendent leurs babioles sur la plage, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut. En revanche, si vous avez du mal à vous déplacer à [... lire plus] pied et à grimper les collines, ce n'est pas l'endroit qu'il vous faut. Cette belle île est vallonnée et, depuis certaines villas, il faut marcher un certain temps pour atteindre le hall principal et les lieux de divertissement. Bien qu'il y ait des chariots disponibles, ils ne sont pas programmés et ne sont donc pas toujours disponibles. Pendant notre séjour, même l'ascenseur menant au sommet de la colline était en panne pour cause de travaux, ce qui rendait la tâche encore plus ardue. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel fait tout son possible pour que vous vous sentiez à l'aise. (Un remerciement spécial à Francisco, notre majordome, qui a été extraordinaire dans son service pour nous). La propreté de l'hôtel, des piscines, des restaurants et même de la plage était impeccable. La nourriture est très bonne dans les restaurants "à la carte", même si j'ai été déçu par le buffet de la soirée de gala - la nourriture n'était pas excellente et j'ai fait la queue pendant 20 minutes pour obtenir le homard + le steak. La plupart des membres du personnel étaient aimables et semblaient vouloir faire des efforts pour aider, mais ils n'ont pas toujours été à la hauteur. Il semblait parfois que le personnel manquait de directives de la part de la direction et l'anglais n'était pas très bon. Les boissons par contre étaient très bonnes - j'ai adoré la Caipirinha, ma nouvelle boisson préférée ! La plage est protégée du vent et des vagues, ce qui en fait un endroit fantastique pour nager dans la mer. La température de l'eau était idéale. Ils devraient vraiment s'efforcer de mettre plus d'un catamaran à la disposition des clients. Il était également agréable d'avoir des chaises de plage à disposition à tout moment de la journée. (pas de lutte avec les accapareurs de chaises qui posent leurs serviettes sur les chaises à 6 heures du matin) Le bar du hall était charmant, mais il serait bon d'avoir de la musique tous les soirs au lieu de deux fois par semaine, car c'est le principal lieu de rassemblement le soir. Les divertissements étaient un peu amateurs. Tout a tendance à s'arrêter vers 22h30 - 23h00 à l'hôtel principal. La fête continue sur la plage publique - mais je ne pense pas qu'il y ait de quoi s'extasier, donc vous vous endormez vers 23h. Les informations sur ce qui se passait quotidiennement dans l'hôtel manquaient. J'aimerais qu'un tableau d'activités soit affiché dans le hall principal et dans d'autres lieux de rassemblement pour rappeler les activités quotidiennes. Conseil pour la chambre : La Villa 12 offre une belle vue sur le côté Samana (nord), mais il faut marcher un peu pour atteindre le hall d'entrée. Notre chambre était immense et le lit aussi, même si l'éclairage est médiocre dans la chambre et sur le balcon. Malheureusement, l'eau est presque inexistante dans la douche. Quoi que vous fassiez, essayez de prendre un vol pour l'aéroport de Samana, sinon vous devrez faire un long trajet jusqu'au bateau de l'hôtel qui vous emmènera sur l'île.) La connexion Wi-fi était très irrégulière, donc ne comptez pas télécharger quoi que ce soit. Ayant été dans de nombreuses stations balnéaires à travers le monde, je ne dirais pas que c'est un 5 étoiles - mais 4 serait plus approprié.

A Little Piece of Paradise Location - Location - Location is what this place is all about. This resort is situated on a stunning tropical island with breathtaking beaches where nature and white sand are mixed, including the famous Bacardi Beach. If you are looking for a place that is not sandwiched in between hundreds of hotels on the beach and were there are no beach peddlers hawking their trinkets - then this is the place for you. On the other hand, if you have any difficulty getting around on foot and climbing hills - this is not the place for you. This beautiful island is hilly and from some villas there is quite the hike to the main lobby and entertainment. Even though there are trollys available - they don't come around on a schedule. so they are not always available. During our stay even the elevator up to the top of the hill was out of order for a re-build - so it made it even harder. All in all, the staff try hard to make you feel comfortable. (A special thanks to Francisco our butler - who was extraordinary in his service for us). Cleanliness of the hotel, pool areas,restaurants and even the beach were immaculate. The food is very good in the "a la carte" restaurants, even though I was disappointed in the Gala night buffet - the food was not great and I lined up for 20 minutes to get the lobster + steak. Most of the staff were friendly and seemed to want to go out of their way to help, but they didn't always deliver. It seemed at times that the staff lacked direction from management and the english was not very good. The drinks on the other hand were very good - loved the Caipirinha drink - my new favorite! The beach is protected from the wind and waves which make it fantastic for a swim in the sea. The water temperature was ideal. They really should work on putting out more than 1 catamaran for guests to use. It was also nice to have beach chairs readily available any time of the day. (no wrestling with the chair hogs who put their towels on the chairs at 6am) The lobby bar was lovely but it would be nice to have music each evening instead of twice in the week as it is the main gathering spot in the evening. Entertainment was a bit amateurish. Everything tends to shut down at about 10:30 pm - 11:00 pm. at the main hotel. Party continues at the public beach - but I don't think it was much to write home about, so you went to sleep around 11pm. Information on what was happening at the resort daily was lacking. I would like to see an activity board posted in the main lobby and other gathering spots as a daily reminder of activities. Room Tip: Villa 12 had a lovely view to the Samana side (north) but is is a bit of a hike to the lobby. Our room was huge and so was the bed, even though the lighting is poor in the room and on the balcony. Unfortunately, the Water is almost non existant at times in the shower. Whatever you do, try to get a flight into Samana airport, otherwise you are in for a long ride to the hotel boat which takes you across to the island) Wi-fi connection which was very hit and miss, so don't count in downloading anything. Having been to many resorts around the world, I would not call this a 5 star - but 4 would be more appropriate.

Amazing hotel and beach This is our first time in the Dominican Republic This hotel is truly first class (5 star) We have been to many all inclusive hotels that where beautiful But this hotel is spectacular Beautiful beach(no seaweed), restaurants first class. We went to three (Italian,Mediterranean, Brazilian) The buffet anything you want BUT what we were impressed by the cleanliness of the place Rooms amazing and clean and new Service is fantastic We have been all over the Caribbean in all inclusiveness but this is the best We will return Regards Frank
