Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Mauvaise station. Je ne le recommande pas !

Nous avons séjourné au BahiaPrincipe Grand la Romana resort en République Dominicaine du 7 au 14 juin et ce fut une mauvaise expérience. Au départ, nous avons été contrariés par le fait qu'il était impossible de se baigner dans la mer. Il y a beaucoup de guêpes sur la plage. Il n'y a pratiquement aucun divertissement pour les enfants, seulement une petite piscine et une aire de jeux qui était souvent fermée. Le personnel parle à peine l'anglais. Notre climatiseur est tombé en panne la premiè [... lire plus]re nuit, mais il a été réparé le lendemain. Lorsque mon fils de quatre ans a marché sur un serpent, nous avons été choqués. C'est un miracle qu'elle ne l'ait pas mordu. Mon fils a fait un bond en arrière très rapidement et nous avons eu de la chance. Lorsque j'ai essayé de savoir de quel type de serpent il s'agissait, s'il était venimeux ou non, et s'il y en avait beaucoup ici, ils m'ont ignoré avec des sourires. Près de la piscine, quelqu'un a pris l'une de nos serviettes et lorsque je suis allée à la réception pour m'en plaindre, la femme qui se tenait là, impolie et mécontente, m'a dit qu'il était de notre responsabilité de prendre soin de la serviette et qu'elle voulait que nous payions pour cela. En fin de compte, elle était très mécontente et nous a donné une nouvelle carte. Dans les bars, les barmans ne parlaient pratiquement pas anglais et affichaient toujours des visages mécontents. Nous avons souvent dû attendre longtemps pour obtenir notre boisson ou avons parfois été simplement ignorés. La veille du départ, nous sommes allés à la réception pour savoir quand ils viendraient nous chercher, mais là, ils nous ont dit qu'ils ne savaient rien et que c'était notre problème et ils nous ont dit de nous renseigner par nous-mêmes. Résultat, le jour du départ, en panique, nous avons commencé à chercher quelqu'un pour nous emmener à l'aéroport et nous étions prêts à prendre un taxi, mais grâce à Belboy, merci beaucoup, nous avons trouvé notre chauffeur. Nous avons passé beaucoup de nerfs. Et le pire, c'est que nos enfants, âgés de 4 et 2 ans, ont contracté la gale là-bas. Nous avons dû nous précipiter à l'hôpital dès notre arrivée à la maison. Nous ne recommanderons cet hôtel à personne et n'y retournerons pas.

Bad resort. I don't recommend! We stayed at the BahiaPrincipe Grand la Romana resort in Dominican from June 7 to June 14 and it was a bad experience. Initially, we were upset that it was impossible to swim in the sea. There are a lot of wasps on the beach. There is almost no entertainment for children, only one small pool and a playground that was often closed. The staff barely speaks English. Our air conditioner broke on the first night, but it was fixed the next day. When my four-year-old son stepped on a snake, we were shocked. It was a miracle she didn't bite him. My son somehow jumped back very quickly and we were lucky. When I tried to find out what kind of snake it was, whether it was poisonous or not, and whether there were many of them here, they ignored me with smiles. Near the pool, someone took one of our towels, and when I came to the reception desk about this, the woman standing there in a rude and dissatisfied manner said that it was our responsibility to take care of the towel and wanted us to pay for it. But in the end, she was very dissatisfied and gave us a new card. In the bars, the bartenders also spoke almost no English and always had dissatisfied faces. We often had to wait a long time for our drink or sometimes were simply ignored. The day before departure, we went to the reception to find out when they would come for us, but there they told us that they didn’t know anything and it was our concern and they told us to find out for ourselves. As a result, on the day of departure, in a panic, we began to look for someone to take us to the airport and were ready to take a taxi, but thanks to Belboy, thank you very much, we found our driver. We spent a lot of nerves. And the worst thing is that our children, 4 and 2 years old, contracted scabies there. We had to immediately rush to the hospital upon arriving home. We will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not go there again.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Excellente expérience !

Le Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal est un excellent complexe hôtelier ! Séjournez dans un établissement, jouez dans quatre et après avoir visité les trois autres, il était clair que nous avions fait le bon choix. Les chambres de luxe sont les plus modernes et les plus proches de la piscine réservée aux adultes et du restaurant de jour. Le personnel était fantastique et a répondu à nos besoins. La nourriture était excellente, avec 17 plats à la carte. Nous avons apprécié les 6 que nous avons réservé [... lire plus]es...nous avons utilisé l'application et vous devez les réserver le jour de votre arrivée, une fois que vous avez obtenu votre numéro de chambre, car elles se remplissent rapidement. Inconvénients : il n'y a pas beaucoup d'air conditionné en dehors de votre chambre, qui était parfaitement réglée. Certains restaurants sont à l'extérieur, donc pas de climatisation évidemment et le bar des sports dans aucun des deux hôtels n'a de climatisation, ce qui s'est avéré inconfortable dans la soirée, quand si humide ! Visa de sortie - on ne nous a pas demandé de payer quoi que ce soit. Notre représentant d'Air Transat nous a dit qu'ils allaient supprimer ce visa dans quelques semaines et qu'il valait mieux ne pas payer ..... Malheureusement, nous ne l'avons pas fait avant de partir.

Great Experience! Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal is a great resort! Stay at one, play at four and having visited the other three, it was clear we made the right choice. Deluxe rooms are the most updated and closer to the Adult only pool and daytime restaurant. Staff were fantastic and met our needs. Food was excellent, with 17 a la cartes. We enjoyed the 6 we booked...we used the app and you must book them the day you arrive, once you get your room # as fill fast. Cons: There isn't much A/C other than your room, which was perfectly set. Some restaurants are outside so no A/C obviously and sports bar at neither hotel has A/C, which proved uncomfortable in the evening, when so humid! Exit visa - did not ask us to pay anything. Advised by our Air Transat Rep that they are removing that in a few weeks to best not to pay....fortunately we didn't do before we left.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Grand centre de villégiature

La nourriture était bonne dans tous les endroits. Le centre de villégiature était très amusant. Le barman et le service autour de la station était très facile pour nous de premier ordre. Ils ont préparé des boissons Canadian Ceasar. Le seul problème, c'est qu'il y avait beaucoup d'enfants et de grands groupes, ce qui n'est peut-être pas le cas pour tous, mais cela ne nous a pas dérangés.

Great resort Food was good in all spots. The resort was a lot of fun. The bartender and service around the resort was very easy for us top notch. They made Canadian Ceasar drinks. Maybe only issue there were a lot of kids and big groups maybe not for all but it didn't bother us.

La station est très belle dans l'ensemble, il y a beaucoup d'endroits pour dîner, la plage du grand côté n'avait pas de rochers dans l'eau. Ma plus grande déception a été lors de l'enregistrement. Après avoir précisé que nous voulions deux lits doubles, on nous a donné un lit king pour trois femmes adultes. On nous a dit qu'un lit d'appoint serait livré dans la chambre. Après une longue journée de voyage, nous nous sommes enregistrées et sommes allées dîner, nous avons apprécié le musicien d [... lire plus]ans le hall avant de retourner dans la chambre. Là, nous n'avons pas trouvé de lit d'appoint et avons dû appeler pour en obtenir un alors que nous voulions juste aller nous coucher.

Room annoyance The resort overall was very beautiful, a lot of places to dine, beach on the grand side did not have rocks in the water. My biggest disappointment was when checking in. After making note that we wanted 2 double beds we were given a king for 3 adult women. We were told that a cot would be delivered to the room. After a long travel day we checked in and went to dinner, enjoyed the musician in the lobby before returning to the room. Where we found no cot and had to call down for a cot when we just wanted to go straight to bed.

Bahia Principe Explore El Portillo: Belle station balnéaire

Le complexe est petit et certaines chambres sont vieillottes, mais nous préférions être plus près de la plage plutôt que d'avoir une chambre neuve. Beaucoup de moustiques, mais c'est les Caraïbes après tout. La nourriture était très bonne. La plage est magnifique et le personnel est très gentil et attentif. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

Nice resort The resort is small and some of the rooms are dated but we preferred to be closer to the beach rather than having a new room. Lots of mosquitoes but it is Caribbean after all. Food was very good . The beach is beautiful and all personal very nice and attentive. Good value for the money.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Grandes vacances

Nous avons séjourné dans ce complexe en juin 2024. Dans l'ensemble, le prix en valait la peine. Le terrain était bien entretenu. Abondance de nourriture et d'options pour tous. Le personnel était gentil et faisait de son mieux pour aider en cas de besoin. Le resort est assez vieux avec quelques problèmes qui ont nécessité une attention particulière comme les mises à jour des chambres, le plafond qui fuit, les appareils qui ne fonctionnent pas, mais ils ont été réparés pour nous. Pas de service d [... lire plus]e chambre disponible. Le food truck propose des en-cas géniaux. Les piscines étaient propres, les algues nettoyées quotidiennement. Je reviendrais certainement, mais pas en juin en raison de la chaleur extrême et des quantités massives de moustiques.

Great Holiday We stayed at this resort in June 2024. Overall worth the cost. The grounds were well maintained. Abundance of food and options for all. Staff were kind and tried their best to help when needed. The resort is quite old with some issues which required attention like room updates, leaking ceiling, appliance not functioning but were fixed for us. No room service available. Food truck has awsome snacks . Pools were clean, seaweeds were cleaned daily. Would definitely return but not in June due too extreme heat and massive amounts of mosquitoes.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour dans ce complexe. Le personnel était très chaleureux et poli. La chambre était confortable et propre. La nourriture proposée était très variée et tout simplement la meilleure. Nous avons adoré la plage. L'eau n'était pas trop profonde et la bande était propre et claire.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this resort. The staff was so warm and polite. The room was comfortable and clean. The food offered was full of variety and was simply the best. We loved the beach. The water was not too deep band was clean and clear.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Superbe complexe pour adultes

Nous avons passé une semaine au Bahia Principe luxury Bougainville resort. Très beau complexe bien entretenu. Le buffet était 3 fois par jour incroyable. Même mes bagels préférés, le fromage à la crème et le saumon fumé. Les restaurants à la carte sont très bons et le restaurant français est un grand 10. Nous y avons mangé des côtelettes d'agneau, incroyables. La chambre avec un réfrigérateur rempli à ras bord était géniale. Amazing adult resort We spend a week at the Bahia Principe luxury Bougainville resort. Very nice well kept resort. Buffet food was 3 times a day unbelievable. Even my favourite bagels, cream cheese and lox. The a La carte restaurants are very good and the French restaurant is a big 10. We had lamb chops there, unbelievable. The room with a fully stock and refilled fridge was great. The nice part of this resort is that there is a pool with entertainment and there is a quiet pool. Service was tops. What else can I tell you. Just an great holiday

Bahia Principe Explore Turquesa: Superbe station pour la famille

Le terrain est bien entretenu. Le restaurant principal et le steak house servent une variété de plats délicieux. Le service dans le restaurant principal est exceptionnellement bon et l'endroit est constamment nettoyé ! Mes petits-enfants ont beaucoup apprécié la plage, la piscine, les parcs aquatiques, le mini golf et le spectacle de magie. Bon prix pour des vacances en famille !

Great resort for family The grounds are well maintained. The main restaurant and the steak house serve a variety of delicious food. Service in the main restaurant is exceptionally good and the place is constantly being cleaned! My grandkids really enjoyed the beach, swimming pool, water parks, the mini golf and the magic show. Good price for a family vacation!

L'hôtel ressemble exactement aux photos. Est-ce un hôtel 5 étoiles ? Plutôt un 3 étoiles. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés (à une heure de route de l'aéroport de Cancun), ils nous ont accueillis avec des coupes de champagne. Nous leur avons dit que nous avions demandé une chambre plus grande par email avant notre arrivée, sur l'email ils nous ont dit que nous étions dans les nouvelles villas rénovées. Mais à la réception, ils nous ont dit qu'elle n'était pas disponible et que nous avions la villa 53  [... lire plus](ancienne). Nous avons dit que nous avions une fille qui souffre d'une maladie respiratoire et que nous voulions que les choses soient propres et spacieuses. Ils nous ont alors dit que pour les villas rénovées, il y aurait un supplément de 1 300 dollars US, ce qui est étrange car ils venaient de nous dire que la chambre n'était pas disponible. Quoi qu'il en soit, nous n'avons pas été surclassés. Notre chambre était petite, au premier étage, tout le monde passait devant notre balcon, donc pas d'intimité. Elle était également sale, les murs de la salle de bain n'étaient pas propres (il y avait des gouttes partout) et nous avons été attaqués par des fourmis de feu dans la chambre. Ils ont envoyé l'exterminateur 3 jours plus tard. Nous avons été approchés par le club privilégié qui nous a dit qu'il nous traiterait mieux si nous nous inscrivions auprès de lui et que c'est ainsi qu'il traite les personnes qui réservent par l'intermédiaire d'une agence. Ils ont manifestement dit cela à la mauvaise personne car j'ai tout de suite demandé s'ils pensaient que nous reviendrions après cela hahaha. La nourriture était correcte, j'ai eu une intoxication alimentaire au buffet, mais les restaurants à la carte étaient sympas pour la plupart. Je donnerais 5 étoiles pour l'animation et le club enfants à 100%, ces gens sont incroyables et ce sont eux qui ont rendu notre voyage supportable ! Bravo à tous les employés du club enfants qui aiment ce qu'ils font et créent les meilleurs souvenirs pour nos enfants : Josseline, Eduardo, Ingrid, rebeca, abigail et cuauhtemoc étaient amaziiiiinnggg

Room for improvement Hotel looks exactly like pictures. Is it a 5 stars hotel? More like a 3 stars. When we first arrived (hour drive from the cancun airport) they welcomed us with champagne glasses. We then told them we asked for a bigger room via email before we arrived, on the email they told us we were in the new renovated villas. But at the desk, they told us it's not available and we have villa 53 (old). We said please we have a daughter that has a breathing condition and we'd like for things to be clean and spacious. Then they said for the renovated villas it will be a charge of US$1,300 EXTRA. which is weird because they just said the room was not available. Anyway, we did not upgrade. Our room was small, first floor, everyone was passing by our balcony, so no privacy. It was also dirty, the walls in the bathroom was not clean (there were drops of things all over) and we got but by fire ants in the room. They sent the exterminator 3 days later though. We got approached by the privileged club and they told us they will treat us better if we sign up with them and that's how they treat people that book through an agency. They obviously told that to the wrong person because I right away said if they think we will come back after this hahaha. Food was okay, got food poisoning from the buffet, but a la carte restaurants were nice most of them. I would give 5 stars for the entertainment ans the kids club 100% those people are amazing and they were the ones that made our trip bearable! Props to all the kids club employee for loving what they're doing and creating the best memories for our kids : Josseline, Eduardo, Ingrid, rebeca, abigail and cuauhtemoc were amaziiiiinnggg

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Une marge d'amélioration après les rénovations

Si vous recherchez une expérience de luxe, peut-être qu'un jour ce sera l'Esmeralda, mais pour l'instant il n'est pas à la hauteur des expériences que j'ai eues à l'Ambar et au Fantasia. Une partie du personnel manquait certainement d'expérience. L'expérience des invités, par exemple, n'a pas pu être trouvée à leur poste désigné à l'entrée du bâtiment à chaque fois que nous sommes passés devant. Au début de notre séjour, un représentant se trouvait à l'extérieur du buffet du petit déjeuner, il a [... lire plus] noté quelques demandes que nous avions (chambre parfumée à l'huile essentielle et pantoufles), mais cela ne s'est jamais produit. Le dernier jour, nous avons rencontré un autre représentant, qui lui a fait part de notre demande, mais il était déjà trop tard. Une autre incohérence concernait les animations nocturnes du club pour enfants. La plupart des soirs, les enfants n'avaient pas le temps de s'amuser. Cependant, pendant la journée, les dames s'occupaient très bien des enfants. Je recommanderais l'Esmeralda, mais ne vous attendez pas à une expérience de luxe.

Room for Improvements after Renovations If looking for the Luxury Experience perhaps one day it will be Esmeralda but for now it does not stand up to the experiences I have had both at Ambar and Fantasia. A portion of the staff certainly lacked experience. Guest experience for example could not be found at their designated station set up at the building entrance any of the numerous times we passed by. At the beginning of the stay a rep. was outside the breakfast buffet, noted a few requests we had (essential oil scented room and slippers) but never happened. On the last day met another rep. told him of this but by then too late. Another inconsistency was with the kid's club night entertainment. Timing of anything for the kids was a miss most nights. However, during the day the ladies were very good to look after the children. I would recommend Esmeralda but not to expect the luxury experience.

Je retournerai sans aucun doute dans ce complexe. Le service était excellent de la part de tous les membres du personnel du bahai principe luxury akumal. La nourriture est très variée et il y a beaucoup de choix au buffet. Ils ont besoin de mettre de l'air conditionné dans certains de leurs restaurants, il fait très chaud en attendant le dîner. Les chambres sont très propres. Les animations nocturnes étaient excellentes. Le massage Mayan Experience était excellent au spa. Il y a toujours quelque [... lire plus] chose à faire dans les centres de villégiature.

Amazing resort I would definitely go back to this resort. The service was excellent from all staff members at the bahai principe luxury akumal. Food wow tones to choose from at the buffet. They need to put in some A/C in some of there restaurants,very warm well waiting for dinner. The rooms are very clean . The entertainment at night time was excellent. Mayan experience massage was excellent at the spa. There is always something to do at the resorts.

L'environnement est magnifique, la chambre est spacieuse, la nourriture dans les restaurants est bonne. Le resort (Luxury Bahia) est difficile à nager sur la plage, il y a trop de rochers et d'algues, nous avons dû marcher jusqu'à l'autre côté (resort Grand Bahia) pour nager.

Bahia Principe Explore Jamaica: Un endroit qui vaut la peine d'être envisagé pour les vacances !

Le hall d'entrée du Bahia Principe est à couper le souffle. Le personnel est aimable et toujours disponible pour vous aider. Le terrain est impeccable. Le personnel s'efforce en permanence de veiller à la propreté et à l'entretien des paramètres. Les buffets offrent plus de nourriture que ce à quoi je m'attendais. C'était ma première fois au Bahia Principe et ce ne sera pas la dernière.

A place worth considering for vacation! The Bahia Principe lobby is breath-taking. The staff are friendly and are always available to assist you. The grounds are immaculate. Staff are always working to ensure the parameters are clean and maintained. The buffets provided more food than I expected it would be. This was my first time at Bahia Principe and it won't be my last.

L'hôtel était magnifique, notre chambre était toujours propre et bien entretenue, le terrain est absolument magnifique, la plage est la meilleure plage de Punta Cana. Chaque jour, l'équipe d'entretien lave les parties communes. La plupart du personnel est merveilleux, amical et très accommodant. L'équipe d'animation est formidable. Manuel et Carla à la réception sont fantastiques, Carlos au snack-bar travaille très dur et est toujours à la tête de son équipe pour fournir un service de premie [... lire plus]r ordre, Felipe et Jose au bar près du snack-bar sont toujours souriants et enjoués et font le spectacle. Je suis allée 13 fois en République dominicaine, la première fois au Bahia Luxury Esmeralda, ce fut des vacances formidables, je reviendrai certainement à cet endroit.

Amazing Vacation The hotel was beautiful, our room was always clean and well maintained, the grounds are absolutely gorgeous, the beach is the best beach in Punta Cana. Every day the maintenance team is washing the common areas. Most of the staff is wonderful, friendly and very accommodating. The entertainment team is great. Manuel & Carla at the reception are fantastic, Carlos at the snack bar is very hard working and always on top of his team providing top notch service, Felipe and Jose at the bar close the snack bar are always smiling upbeat and putting on a show. I’ve been to the Dominican 13times, first time to the Bahia Luxury Esmeralda, this was such a great vacation, will definitely return to this location.
