Catalonia Montego Bay: Bon centre de villégiature

L'environnement de l'hôtel est très commercial, plus comme une station 3 étoiles, mais nous avons apprécié l'eau et le soleil. Nous avons dû changer de chambre, bien que nous ayons payé le prix fort pour une chambre de luxe avec vue sur l'océan, qui était en fait une vue partielle et avec des toilettes que nous avons dû demander à réparer trois fois en deux jours. Nous avons fini par payer plus cher pour un surclassement avec une vraie vue sur l'océan et sans problème de toilettes. Nous nous  [... lire plus]attendions à ce que les restaurants intérieurs soient inclus, mais 4 sur 6 nous ont fait payer entre 20 et 29 USD. Nos cartes de débit canadiennes n'ont pas fonctionné et les excursions ont été proposées à un prix deux fois plus élevé que les frais d'entrée réels avec le transport inclus (nous avons payé en ligne 70 USD pour Dolphin Cove au lieu des 129 USD annoncés par Sunwings à l'hôtel, ce qui est un peu exagéré). Lorsque nous avons réservé sur tripcentral, nous avons vu des types de chambres différents de ceux définis par l'hôtel sur son site internet. Nous n'avons toujours pas compris quelle était la correspondance entre ces 5 types de chambres sur votre site et les 2 types sur le site de Holiday Inn (standard et suite). Nous avons demandé à la réception si nous pouvions accumuler des points chez Holiday Inn, afin de commencer à accumuler des points, et on nous a donné un formulaire, mais après l'avoir rempli, ils ont dit qu'ils ne savaient pas qui l'avait, donc nous ne savons pas comment le faire.

Good resort The hotel environment is very commercial, more like of a 3 star resort, but we enjoyed the water and the sun. We had to change the room, although we paid a premium for a deluxe rom with a front ocean view that was actualy partial view and with a toilet we had to ask to be repaird 3 times in two days. We ended up paying more to upgrade to a real front ocean view and no toilet problems. We expected inside restaurants to be included, but 4 out of 6 charged between 20 to 29 USD. Our Canadian debit cards did not work and the trips were provided at a double price than the actual entrance fees with transportation included (we paid online 70 USD for Dolphin Cove instead of 129 USD advertised by Sunwings at the hotel, which is a little exagerated). When we booked on tripcentral, we saw different types of room than those defined by the hotel on their website. We still did not udnerstand what is the correspondence between all those 5 types of rooms on your site and the 2 types on Holiday Inn webste (standard and suite). We asked at the reception if we can accummulate points at holiday Inn, so we can start building up points, and we were given a form, but after we filled it in, they said they did not know who has it, so we do not know how to do it.

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances à l'Holiday Inn, le personnel était super sympa, nous avons vraiment apprécié l'endroit, la nourriture est incroyable, le chef est venu nous voir à l'heure du souper et nous a fait sentir comme à la maison. L'emplacement de l'hôtel est génial aussi, la plage est magnifique !!! Merci à notre agent de voyage Tanya Smith de nous avoir aidés et de nous avoir trouvé des vacances de rêve !

What an Amazing resort We spent a week vacation at Holiday inn, the staff was super friendly , we really enjoyed the place, the food is amazing, the chef came to see us during souper time and made us feel like home. The location of the hotel is great also, the beach is beautiful!!! Thanks to our travel agent Tanya Smith to help us and find us a dream vacation!!!

Le séjour à l'Holiday Inn Resort a été extraordinaire. Nous nous sommes bien amusés pendant les quatre premiers jours. Notre chambre était très propre et bien entretenue. Le personnel était très aimable et accueillant. Dans l'ensemble, c'était bien. Nous sommes tombés malades les trois derniers jours. Nous ne sommes pas sûrs de ce que c'était.

Hotel review Staying at the Holiday Inn Resort was amazing. We had a good time for the first 4 days. Our room was very clean and well kept. Staffs were very friendly and welcoming. Over all it was good. We both fell sick for the last three days. No sure what it was.

Je me suis rendue à l'hôtel sans m'attendre à grand-chose étant donné qu'il était bon marché. J'ai été totalement surpris par l'ensemble du complexe. Il y a d'excellents restaurants, un excellent "jerk hut", des divertissements au-dessus de la moyenne et le personnel était formidable.

More than I had expected I went to the resort not expecting much as it was inexpensive. I was totally surprised with the overall resort. It has great restaurants, a great jerk hut, above avg entertainment and the staff were great.

La chambre était propre, les gens étaient très gentils et serviables. Cela me dérange tous les panneaux qu'ils ont là pour dire ce que vous ne pouvez pas faire. La piscine a fermé à 18 heures, ce qui n'a aucun sens. J'ai apprécié toutes les activités qu'ils proposent pendant la journée et les spectacles nocturnes.

Great Atmosphere The room was clean, the people there were very nice and helpful. It bothers me all the signs they have there saying what you cannot do. The pool closed at 6pm that make no sense. I enjoyed all the activities they have during the day and the night shows.

Le mobilier était un peu usé mais le complexe était propre et très bien équipé. Nous prévoyons d'y retourner bientôt. Le personnel était sympathique et serviable. La réception n'est pas à la hauteur, mais la plage compense. La nourriture était bonne. Il y a toujours un plat au buffet qui est génial.

Great resort best bang for the buck Furniture was a little worn but the resort was clean and lots of amenities. We plan to go back soon. Staff was friendly and helpful. The reception area underwhelms but the beach makes up for it. Food was good. Always one dish on buffet that was awesome.

Catalonia Montego Bay: EXCELLENT COMPLEXE HÔTELIER !

L'hôtel était agréable et notre chambre était spacieuse, seule la salle de bain était un peu petite et nécessitait quelques rénovations mineures. Le terrain est bien entretenu, il y a un côté adulte à la plage et un côté familial, ce qui est agréable à savoir. Sur le terrain, il y a 3 ou 4 bars différents ainsi qu'une hutte pour le poulet et le porc jerk, une hutte pour la crème glacée, les hot-dogs et d'autres aliments à manger avec les doigts, et une autre hutte pour les hamburgers et les f [... lire plus]rites, le poisson et les frites. La nourriture est tellement bonne que certaines de ces cabanes sont des endroits où l'on peut se restaurer tard dans la nuit, lorsque l'on a faim après toutes les boissons que l'on a pu boire. Le personnel est formidable, croyez-le ou non, il s'est souvenu de mon nom et j'ai trouvé cela excellent. L'hôtel dispose d'une salle à manger principale ainsi que de 5 ou 6 restaurants gastronomiques sur place et la nourriture est excellente dans chacun d'entre eux, car nous les avons tous essayés pour le dîner. La plage est très belle et propre et l'hôtel dispose d'une grande partie de la plage, de sorte qu'il y a une plage pour tout le monde, si vous voulez du calme, vous pouvez le trouver, ainsi que de l'amusement.

GREAT RESORT! The hotel was nice and our room was spacious, just the bathroom a bit small and needs some minor renovations. The grounds are well kept they have an adult side to the beach and they have the family side which is nice to know. On the grounds they have about 3 or 4 different bar locations as well as a jerk chicken and jerk pork hut, and an ice cream, hotdogs and other finger food hut, they also have another hut for burgers and fries, fish and chips. The food is so good, some of these huts are late night spots for when your hungry after all the drinks you may have had. The staff are great, believe it or not they remembered my name and I found that to excellent. The hotel has a main dinning room as well as about 5 or 6 fine dining restaurants on location and the food is excellent in all of them as we tried all of them for dinner. The beach is very nice and clean and the hotel has a large spread of the beach, so there is beach for everyone if you want quiet you can find that as well as fun.

Le Holiday Inn Sunspree est un très bel hôtel. Les chambres étaient un peu vieillottes mais propres. La piscine était agréable et donnait sur l'océan. Une île artificielle impressionnante à laquelle on pouvait accéder à pied depuis la plage. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bel hôtel.

Awesome trip The holiday inn sunspree was a very nice hotel. Rooms were a little dated but clean. The pool was nice overlooking the ocean. An awesome man made island that you could walk out to from the beach. Overall a very nice resort.

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques à l'Holiday Inn de Montego Bay. Très propre, personnel sympathique. La nourriture était bonne, il y avait beaucoup de choix... on n'a jamais faim dans ce centre de villégiature. Mon seul bémol est que la climatisation était très bruyante pendant la nuit, j'ai mis du temps à m'endormir. A cause de la climatisation bruyante, je ne donnerai que 4 étoiles.

Very Good Resort We had a fantastic vacation at the Holiday Inn, Montego Bay. Very clean, friendly staff. The food was good, lots of choices...you can never get hungry while at this resort. My only down side is that the AC was very noisy during the night, took me a while to fall asleep. Because of the noisy AC I will only give it 4 stars.

J'ai passé un excellent moment dans tous les domaines de la station, ma seule plainte serait que je pensais avoir un meilleur goût des plats jamaïcains, je voulais vraiment goûter au curry, à la chèvre, à la queue de bœuf, au poisson, à d'autres fruits de mer, etc. En dehors de la nourriture, l'hospitalité était hors du commun, les meilleures personnes que j'ai jamais rencontrées, extrêmement attentionnées, drôles et généreuses. Si je pouvais me souvenir de tout le monde, je les mentionnerais t [... lire plus]ous, mais en bref, ils font TOUS leur travail de manière formidable. 100% great !!!!!

Best Trip Thus Far!!!! I had a great time in all areas of the resort my only complaint would be is I thought I would get a better taste of jamaican dishes I really wanted to taste curry goat oxtail fish more seafood etc. Other then the food the hospitality was out of this world the best people I have ever met extremely caring funny and generous if I could have remembered everyone I would mention them all but in a nutshell they ALL do their jobs great 100% great!!!!!

Le Holiday Inn Resort de Montego Bay est un lieu de vacances extraordinaire, que ce soit en famille ou entre amis. La nourriture est excellente. Le terrain est bien entretenu, tout comme la piscine. L'hôtel dispose d'une île privée où l'on peut se rendre à pied. Les chambres sont propres. Le personnel de la salle à manger est très aimable et serviable. Lors de ce voyage, nous étions 18 invités et 3 ont eu besoin d'aide et le personnel de la salle à manger était là pour les aider à apporter leu [... lire plus]rs assiettes du buffet. Le seul point négatif que nous avions tous mes 18 invités sur le personnel de l'hôtel est la section du bar, ils ont besoin de plus de formation dans le service à la clientèle. Mon mari et moi étions là pour fêter notre 30ème anniversaire de mariage et cela n'aurait pas pu être mieux. Nous remercions Nicole Deforest de Trip Central de nous avoir aidés à réserver et à obtenir tous les extras que nous avons demandés. Un agent très serviable et patient.

Amazing resort The Holiday Inn Resort in Montego Bay is an amazing place to go for a vacation whether with family or friends. The food is excellent. Grounds are well maintained and so is the pool. They have a private island you can actually walk to. Rooms are clean. The dining room staff are the best friendly and helpful. On this trip we were 18 guests and 3 needed assistance and dining room staff were there to help bring their plates from the buffet. The only negative we all had my 18 guests about the hotel staff is the bar section they need more training in customer service. My husband and I were there to renew our 30th wedding anniversary and it could not have been better. Our thanks to Nicole Deforest at Trip Central for helping us with booking and all extras we requested. Very helpful and patient agent.

Je n'ai pas apprécié mon séjour, la salle de bain était minuscule, l'hôtel sent mauvais et il est très vieux. Nous devions acheter de l'eau et il n'y avait pas de réfrigérateur. La nourriture était très limitée, et la climatisation était très bruyante. L'hôtel est situé trop près de la route principale, la circulation était très bruyante, je ne pense pas que vos repas devraient être si près de la piscine, ils devraient être dans une zone différente

You get what you pay for I did not enjoy my stay, the bathroom was very tiny, the hotel smells and it was very old. We had to buy water and there was no fridge. The food was very limited, also the a/c was very loud. The hotel is located too close to the main road, the traffic was really loud, I don't think that your meals should be so close to the swimming pool it should be in a different area

C'était la quatrième fois que je venais dans ce complexe et j'ai passé un excellent moment. La nourriture est excellente, la plage n'est malheureusement pas bonne du tout. Les piscines étaient bien entretenues. Je recommanderais de nettoyer la plage, d'enlever les algues pour que l'on puisse vraiment nager dans l'océan.

Great times!! This was my 4th time at this resort and had a great time. The food is amazing, the beach is unfortunately not good at all. The pools were well maintained. I would recommend cleaning the beach, removing the seaweed so we can actually swim in the ocean.

Séjour du 13/19 mai au 20/19 mai Excellente station belle et propre, personnel formidable, incroyable sélection de nourriture et de boissons. Grande station pour les vacances en famille, il y a quelque chose à faire pour les adultes et les enfants, ce qui en fait une bonne station pour la famille. Mon quatrième voyage à cette station et je prévois déjà d'être de retour en Octobre avec ma femme, ma fille, mon gendre et mon petit-fils.

Great Resort Stayed from may 13/19 to May 20/19 Excellent resort nice and clean, great staff, amazing selection of food and drinks. Great resort for family vacation there is something to do for adults and kids which makes it good resort for family. My fourth trip to this resort and I am already planning to be back in October with my wife,daughter,son-in-law and grandson.

Holiday Inn at Universal: Inférieur à la moyenne

Le service de la réception est bon, la chambre est correcte, les draps ne sont pas bien rangés, la salle de bain n'est pas assez propre, surtout la baignoire. Dès que vous entrez dans la baignoire, vous pouvez sentir dans vos pieds le savon séché et la saleté qui restent collés à l'intérieur de la baignoire. Mais la chose qui me dérange le plus, c'est que leurs nettoyeurs n'ont pas de considération pour leur deviner ma chambre à côté de la chambre du personnel. Chaque fois qu'ils vont dans cette [... lire plus] chambre, ils frappent toujours la porte si fort que parfois j'ai été surpris quand je faisais une sieste.

Below average Front desk service is good, the room is fine bedsheets was not tuck in properly, the bathroom was not clean enough especially the bathtub as soon as you step in you can feel in your feet the dried soap and dirt that stick sorround inside the tub. But the thing i really mind most is their cleaners doesnt have consideration to their guess my room beside the staff room. everytime they go in to that room they always bang the door so loud that sometimes i got startled when im taking a nap.

La nourriture était incroyable et je suis un mangeur très difficile. L'enregistrement à l'hôtel s'est fait rapidement et sans douleur, sans longues files d'attente. Le terrain était toujours propre, le personnel était formidable, serviable et toujours souriant. Tout, depuis la réservation des vacances sur Trip Central jusqu'à l'heure de départ, s'est déroulé sans problème. Je recommanderai et j'ai déjà recommandé ce complexe à d'autres personnes et j'y retournerai. Les chambres d'hôtel étai [... lire plus]ent un peu vieillottes, mais elles étaient tout de même incroyables et à un prix raisonnable.

Amazing Resort!!! Staff was always smiling and so friendly!!!! The food was amazing and I'm a very picky eater. Hotel check in was quick and painless, no long lines. The grounds were always clean, staff was amazing, helpful and always smiling. Everything from booking the vacation at trip central, to check out time went amazingly smooth. I will and have recommended this resort to others and I will return. The hotel rooms were a bit dated but it was still amazing and reasonably priced.

J'ai détesté le fait que notre vol ait été annulé et que la réception ou le représentant de Sunwing n'ait pas jugé nécessaire de nous en informer avant notre départ alors qu'ils étaient au courant à l'avance. C'était déplaisant !!!

crappy service I hated the fact that our flight was cancelled and the front desk or Sunwing Representative did not see it necessary to advise us before we went to check out when they knew ahead of time. This was distasteful!!!
