Ma première expérience dans un tout-inclus. Probablement ma dernière fois aussi. Le complexe est agréable et spacieux. Les chambres ont de bons lits qui sont confortables. La nourriture est bonne. Bien que limitée. Pas d'alcool avant midi. Peu de bière dans le réfrigérateur de la chambre. Je pensais qu'en étant au bord de la piscine et en profitant du soleil, je pourrais prendre un verre ou deux sans avoir à marcher pour l'obtenir ! Pas d'en-cas légers pour le soir. Cela a rendu les choses d [... lire plus]ifficiles, notre fille vit avec un diabète de type 1 et a besoin de collations. J'ai essayé de prendre quelques fruits et un yaourt au buffet du matin. On m'a expliqué qu'il ne fallait pas le faire. Les divertissements du soir étaient très tardifs.

Think twice My first experience at an all-inclusive. Probably my last time too. The resort is nice and spacious. The rooms have good beds that are comfortably. Food is good. Although limited. No alcohol until 12 Noon. Limited beer in the room fridge. I thought that being by the pool enjoying the sunshine that I could get a drink or two without having to walk to get it! No light snacks for the evening. Made things challenging, our daughter is living with type 1 diabetes and requires snacks. Tried to take a couple pieces of fruit and yogurt from morning buffet. I was made aware not to do that. The evening entertainment was really late.

Ce centre de villégiature a reçu une note de 7/10

J'ai l'impression que ce complexe est vraiment magnifique, mais il est extrêmement immense, ou devrais-je dire massif. Si cela ne vous dérange pas de marcher beaucoup et que vous avez des enfants, alors c'est un endroit fantastique (pour la plupart). Il y a tellement de choses à faire pour eux. Oui, il y a un bus qui vous emmène autour, mais il vient toutes les 30 minutes, ce qui est une perte de temps pour l'attendre. La nourriture n'est pas géniale, le buffet n'était pas très chaud et souvent  [... lire plus]il n'avait pas l'air/le goût d'être frais. Deux des quatre restaurants à la carte étaient vraiment bons, les deux autres n'étaient pas à la hauteur. Le Tokoyo et le Santa Fe étaient mes préférés. La lumière de notre salle de bain vacillait et notre évier était bouché à notre arrivée. Presque tout le personnel ne connaissait pas l'anglais, il était donc presque impossible de demander des indications ou de poser des questions, à moins d'aller jusqu'à la réception. La nourriture du bar Strikers était absolument terrible, ça ne vaut même pas la peine d'essayer. La station était si grande qu'elle se sentait si vide, je suis allé du 9 novembre au 16 novembre et nous nous demandions où tout le monde était. Les divertissements nocturnes étaient très mauvais. Je pense qu'ils devraient interagir davantage avec le public et nous faire participer, car cela rend l'expérience plus personnelle et plus agréable. Il y avait un spectacle intitulé "Couple idéal" qui, d'après ce que j'ai entendu, était le seul bon spectacle de la semaine, et je suis triste que nous n'ayons pas pu y assister parce que nous n'avons pas pu trouver l'endroit. À la fin de notre voyage, nous avons entendu que vous pouvez télécharger une application qui vous dira les heures et les emplacements des spectacles, ce qui est plus utile et je me reconnecterais au téléchargement avant d'y aller. Je’m pas une personne très pointilleuse, dans mon milieu 20â €™s et sont très actifs, mais c'était un peu trop de marche pour mon goût alors que sur Vaykay. Même trouver les bars de la piscine ou les meilleurs divertissements nocturnes était une lutte. J'ai été à beaucoup d'autres stations tout compris et mexicain et c'était probablement l'un des pires. Mon petit ami est également tombé malade quand il était là-bas. Don't get me wrong you may go and have an amazing time, unfortunately there was a lot of downfalls to this trip for my boyfriend and I.

Rating this resort a 7/10 I feel like this resort is really beautiful, but it is extremely huge, or should I say massive. If you don’t mind doing a lot of walking and you have kids then this is a fantastic place(for the most part). As there’s so much for them to do. Yes it has a bus that takes you around but it comes every 30 minutes which is a waste of time to wait for it. The food is not the greatest, the buffet food was not very warm and a lot of the times it didn’t look/taste fresh. Two out of the four a la cart were really good, the other two were lacking. Tokoyo and Santa Fe were my favourite. Our bathroom light was flickering and our sink was clogged upon arrival. Almost all the staff did not know any English so asking for directions/questions was nearly impossible unless you went all the way to the front desk. Strikers bar food was absolutely terrible, it’s not even worth trying. The resort was so big that it felt so empty, I went from Nov 9- Nov 16 and we were wondering where everyone was. The nightly entertainment was very bad. I feel that they need to interact more with the audience and get us involved as it makes the experience more personal and enjoyable. they had one called “ideal couple” which I heard was their only good show for the week, and I’m sad that we couldn’t attend because we couldn’t find the place. At the end of our trip we heard you can download an app that will tell you the show times and locations which is more helpful and I would reconnect downloading before going. I’m not a very picky person, in my mid 20’s and am very active but this was a little too much walking for my liking while on Vaykay. Even finding the pool bars or best nightly entertainment was a struggle. I’ve been to many other all inclusive resorts and mexico and this was probably one of the worst ones. My boyfriend also did get sick when he was down there. Don’t get me wrong you may go and have an amazing time, unfortunately there was a lot of downfalls to this trip for my boyfriend and I.

Superbe station balnéaire

Ce complexe est vraiment génial. Les terrains sont très bien entretenus, les chambres sont propres et en bon état. La nourriture est également très bonne. Beaucoup de choses à faire pour les enfants et l'utilisation de quatre complexes pour le prix d'un seul est fantastique. Nous y retournerons sans aucun doute.

Awesome resort This resort is really great. Very well kept grounds, rooms are clean and in great repair. Food was also very good. Lots for kids to do and getting the use of four resorts for the price of one is fantastic. We will definitely go again.

Grand centre de villégiature

Un grand complexe mais si bien organisé et entretenu, des terrains très verts, des chambres très propres, spacieuses avec balcon, une cuisine excellente, de nombreux restaurants, une plage magnifique, un excellent spa, un très beau centre commercial et des employés souriants et courtois. Tout est fabuleux.

Great resort A big resort but so well organized and maintained, all grounds very green, rooms very clean, spacious with balconies, great food, many restaurants, beautiful beach, excellent spa, very nice mall and all smiling courteous employees. All fabulous.

Excellent

Très bonne nourriture et terrain, belle plage, très recommandé. Il s'agit d'un complexe composé de plusieurs hôtels. Le personnel travaillait constamment à l'entretien du terrain et à la propreté. Assurez-vous d'avoir de la petite monnaie pour donner un pourboire à tout le monde.

Great food and grounds, nice beach, highly recommended. It's a complex made of several hotels. Staff was constantly working on maintaining grounds and cleanliness. Make sure that you have small change to tip everyone.

Très belle station balnéaire

C'était un très beau centre de villégiature. Il y avait beaucoup de choses à faire tout le temps, l'endroit était propre et les gens étaient très sympathiques. Ma chambre était très confortable et propre. La nourriture était délicieuse et vous ne manquez jamais de choix. Le personnel d'attente était très efficace, amical et prompt à vous aider. Je suis allée au spa et c'était merveilleux. Il y a un grand centre commercial, un bowling et un casino sur place, donc le soir après le dîner il  [... lire plus]y a quelque chose à faire. Le théâtre propose également des spectacles tous les soirs. Il y a beaucoup de plages où l'on peut se rendre à pied et beaucoup d'excursions hors site à faire avec de très bons guides.

Really nice resort This was a really nice resort. There was a lot to do all the time, The place was clean and the people were very friendly. My room was very comfortable and clean. The food was delicious and you never want for choice. The waiting staff were very efficient, friendly and quick to help you. I did go to the spa and it was wonderful. There is a huge mall ,bowling ally and casino on sit so at night after dinner there is some thing to do. They also have entertainment in the theater every night. There is lots of beach to walk to.There are lots of off site excursions to take with very good guides.

Epic Massive Resort

nous avons séjourné une semaine au début du mois de mai. la température était parfaite. notre enfant de 2 ans s'est bien amusé dans toutes les piscines à toboggan pour enfants. la zone de baignade à la plage était géniale. nous recommandons le restaurant de fruits de mer et le Tokyo. si vous aimez la tequila, allez au bar à tequila et à cigares. il y a un choix incroyable à essayer.

huge resort with enough options for everyone. we stayed for a week in early may. temperature was perfect. our 2 year old had a great time at all the kiddie slide pools. swimming area at the beach was great. def recommend the Seafood restaurant and Tokyo. if you like tequila check out the tequila/cigar bar. amazing selection to try.

Barcelo maya

L'hôtel et le personnel sont tous deux excellents. La nourriture et le service sont excellents et les chambres sont propres et modernes. La plage avait beaucoup de sargassium (algues) partout et bien que ce ne soit pas la faute de l'hôtel, cela a ruiné la plage.

All around great resort and staff. Food and service are great and rooms are clean and modern. The beach had alot of sargassium (seaweed) everywhere and although its not the hotels fault it ruined the beach.

Un complexe 5 étoiles à notre avis, avec tant d'options que vous n'avez pas besoin de quitter le complexe !

Nous avons hâte d'y retourner !!! Nous y étions du 21 au 28 avril, il n'y avait pas trop de monde mais même si c'était le cas, c'est tellement grand qu'on peut s'y adapter. Nous avons réservé par l'intermédiaire de Trip Central, ils ont été très serviables et nous réservons déjà pour y retourner l'année prochaine ! Nous avons visité plusieurs complexes hôteliers et le Barcelo Maya Caribe est maintenant notre préféré ! Le parc aquatique propose des activités pour adultes que nous essaierons l [... lire plus]a prochaine fois que nous irons et il y a un bar sportif appelé Strikers qui a une piste de bowling et nous y allons pour regarder les matchs de hockey pendant les séries éliminatoires et prendre un petit en-cas, c'est tellement amusant ! C'est un complexe incroyable avec tellement de choses à faire qu'il n'est pas nécessaire de quitter le complexe et de payer pour d'autres excursions. Nous avons payé pour faire de la plongée en apnée et c'était une journée amusante à faire d'autres choses avec l'excursion, mais la plongée en apnée à l'extérieur du Palace est meilleure que ce que nous avons payé et nous n'avions qu'à marcher le long de la plage. Le complexe est très propre, le terrain est très bien entretenu et la nourriture est excellente, avec encore une fois plusieurs options pour manger. Nous avons surtout apprécié les restaurants mexicain et japonais. Le personnel est très sympathique, mais certains d'entre eux avaient du mal à nous comprendre lorsque nous essayions de leur parler. Ce n'est pas un problème, nous avons simplement appris à faire simple, ce qui a été beaucoup plus facile pour eux et pour nous. Surtout quand nous avions trop de boissons glacées au bord de l'eau, lol. Les chambres étaient également propres et le réfrigérateur était approvisionné tous les jours. Nous avons lu des critiques sur le fait que les chambres avaient besoin d'être rénovées, mais elles ont rempli leur rôle avec un lit confortable et une douche chaude. Nous n'étions pas là pour rester dans la chambre toute la journée ! La plage était également extraordinaire, nous n'avons jamais eu à nous battre pour une chaise ou à nous réveiller tôt pour mettre notre serviette sur quelques chaises pour qu'elle tienne. On peut marcher pendant des kilomètres et le sable était comme de la soie sur nos pieds.

A 5 Star Resort in our opinion, with so many options that you don't have to leave the resort! We can't wait to go back!!! We were there from April 21st to 28th, it wasn't overly busy but even if it was, it's so big that it would accommodate. We booked through Trip Central, they were very helpful & we're already saving to return anytime next year! We've been to several resorts all over & the Barcelo Maya Caribe is now our favourite! The water park has certain things for adults which we'll try next time we go & they have a sports bar called Strikers that has a bowling alley & we'd go there to watch the hockey games during the playoffs & have a little snack, so fun! It's an incredible resort with so much to do that you really don't have to leave the resort & pay for other excursions. We paid to go snorkeling & it was a fun day doing other things with the tour, however the snorkeling outside of The Palace is better than what we paid for & we just had to walk down the beach. The resort is super clean, the grounds are very well kept & the food was amazing, again with several options of where you can eat. We enjoyed the Mexican & Japanese restaurants the most. The staff are all very friendly but some of them had a hard time understanding us when we tried talking to them. Not a problem by any means, we just learned to keep it simple so it was much easier for them & for us. Especially when we had too many frozen drinks down by the water, lol. The rooms were also clean & the fridge was stocked daily. We read reviews about the rooms needing to be updated but they served their purpose with a comfortable bed & a hot shower. We weren't there to be in the room all day! The beach was also amazing, never having to fight for a chair or wake up early to put our towel on a couple chairs to hold them. You can walk for miles & the sand was like silk on our feet.

Grand centre de villégiature

Je suis allé plusieurs fois dans ce centre de vacances. Le terrain et la plage sont magnifiques. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs et on ne s'ennuie jamais. Amical pour les enfants, beaucoup de toboggans pour enfants. Bonne plongée avec masque et tuba à proximité de la plage. Je recommande toujours cet endroit à mes amis.

Great resort Been to this resort a number of times. Grounds and beach are beautiful. Plenty of things to do around and never get bored. Kids friendly, lots of kids slides. Good Snorkelling right of the beach. Always recommend this place to my friends.

Des vacances fabuleuses !

L'hôtel était fantastique ! Un si grand espace entre 5 hôtels, avec une variété de nourriture, de piscines, mais bien aménagé qu'il était facile de s'orienter. Le personnel était très accueillant, toujours avec le sourire. Tout était très bien entretenu. La nourriture était vraiment bonne ! buffets, à la carte, et vous pouviez trouver quelque chose à n'importe quel moment de la journée. Je n'ai jamais eu à penser à quoi que ce soit ou à m'inquiéter de quoi que ce soit, c'était absolument fa [... lire plus]ntastique !

Fabulous vacation! The hotel was fantastic! Such a large area between 5 hotels, with variety in food, pools, but well layed out that it was easy to orient. The staff were all so welcoming, always with a smile on their face. Everything was very well maintained. The food was really good!! buffets, al le carte, and you could find something at any time of day. I never had to think about anything or worry about anything, it was absolutely fantastic!!

Un séjour extraordinaire au Barcelo Maya Caribe !

C'est de loin l'un des meilleurs centres de villégiature où nous sommes allés ! Le service que nous avons reçu était fantastique et la nourriture était excellente ! Il y a beaucoup de variété chaque jour et plus de restaurants à la carte qu'il n'est possible d'en manger en une semaine. Les piscines étaient magnifiques et le terrain bien entretenu. La plage était un peu décevante - elle était assez rocailleuse et difficile à fouler, et une tonne d'algues s'est échouée sur la plage. Le personnel d [... lire plus]e l'hôtel a fait du bon travail en enlevant le plus possible chaque jour. Les chambres étaient moyennes et mériteraient d'être rénovées. Mais nous n'avons eu aucun problème ! Nous avons voyagé avec notre fille de 4 ans et il y avait toujours beaucoup de choses à faire pour elle : un mini centre commercial dans le complexe avec un carrousel et une patinoire intérieure, plusieurs piscines pour enfants avec des toboggans, des spectacles de dauphins gratuits, une mini-discothèque, un club pour enfants. La liste est longue ! Nous retournerons sans aucun doute au Barcelo Maya Caribe !

Amazing time at the Barcelo Maya Caribe! This is hands down one of the best resorts we've ever been to! The service we received was fantastic and the food was great! Lots of variety every day and more à la carte restaurants than you can possibly eat at in one week. The pools were gorgeous and the grounds were well maintained. The beach was a bit disappointing - it was quite rocky and difficult to walk on and a ton of algae washed up on the beach. Although hotel staff did a good job at removing as much as possible every day. The rooms were average, could use some updating. But we had no issues! We travelled with our 4 year old daughter and there was always a ton for her to do: mini mall in the resort with a carousel and indoor skating, several kiddy pools with slides, free dolphin shows, mini disco, kids club. The list goes on! We will definitely return to the Barcelo Maya Caribe!!

Barcelo Maya Caribe

J'ai trouvé le terrain impeccablement propre et très bien entretenu. Les buffets auraient besoin de plus de nourriture mexicaine, mais le service de l'ensemble du personnel était très bon. Les boissons étaient bonnes, l'établissement était un peu démodé et aurait besoin d'être rafraîchi, mais j'ai passé un très bon moment.

I thought the grounds were impeccably clean and very well maintained. The buffets could use more Mexican food, but the service from all of the staff was very good. Drinks were good, it was a little out dated and could use a bit of a refresh but I had a very enjoyable time.

Charmante station balnéaire

Ce centre de villégiature est le meilleur. Le terrain est magnifique et spacieux. Les piscines sont immenses et les bassins de natation sont un vrai plus. Les chambres sont propres. Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. Nous avons eu un problème avec notre chambre, mais il a été réglé de manière très professionnelle et rapide, à notre entière satisfaction. La nourriture est excellente et très variée.

Lovely resort This resort is the best. The grounds are beautiful and spacious. The pools are huge and the lap pools are such a bonus. The rooms are clean. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had an issue with our room but it was dealt with very professionally and timely and to our satisfaction. The food is super and lots of variety.

Bon centre de villégiature

Personnel sympathique ; les chambres du rez-de-chaussée étaient bruyantes après 23 heures car les fêtards rentraient ; les toilettes étaient sales (restaurants et zones de service de serviettes) et pourraient utiliser un système similaire à celui de l'Ontario, au Canada, où le nettoyeur signe une feuille située à l'intérieur des toilettes toutes les heures (c'est-à-dire que les toilettes ont été nettoyées) ;

Good Resort Friendly staff; ground floor rooms were noisy after 11 pm at night since the revelers were getting back; washrooms were dirty (restaurants and towel service areas) and could use a system similar to Ontario, Canada whereby the cleaner signs a sheet located inside the washroom every hour (i.e. that the washroom has been serviced);

La meilleure plage !

Mon petit ami et moi avons passé un séjour extraordinaire dans cet hôtel. La plage est grande et à mourir, les chaises et l'ombre toujours disponibles. La nourriture était délicieuse et le choix varié. Les installations étaient impeccables, mais les chambres auraient besoin d'une mise à jour. Dans l'ensemble, une expérience fantastique.

The best beach! My boyfriend and I had an amazing time at this hotel. The beach is large and to die for, chairs and shade always available. Food was delicious and a wide selection. Facilities were immaculate but rooms could use an update. Overall a fantastic experience.

Oui à Barcelo

Le personnel était très sympathique, le terrain semblait très propre et exceptionnellement bien entretenu, la nourriture était excellente et très variée. Seule petite critique, la salle de bain de notre chambre présentait des moisissures autour des poignées de la baignoire.

Yes to Barcelo Staff were very friendly, grounds appeared to be very clean and exceptionally well kept, food was excellent with lots of variety. Only slight criticism was the bathroom in our room had some mold/mildew around the handles in the bathtub.

Mauvais moment pour séjourner dans ce centre de villégiature !

L'hôtel et la plage sont magnifiques et la nourriture est excellente. Les deux premiers jours ont été merveilleux à l'hôtel, puis les clients ont commencé à arriver pour un concert de Phish qui a eu lieu à l'hôtel pendant trois nuits. Il y avait des gens qui consommaient de la drogue dans des lieux publics partout dans l'hôtel pendant la journée, et nous étions tenus éveillés par des fêtes bruyantes sur la pelouse juste en dessous de nous, qui commençaient vers 2 heures du matin et duraient jus [... lire plus]qu'à 6h30 une nuit, et 5h30 les deux autres nuits. Il y avait des gens qui couraient sur le terrain en criant et en frappant aux portes et nous ne pouvions pas appeler la réception depuis notre chambre. Donâ €™t aller à cette station pendant Phish joue si vous voulez des vacances relaxantes ou si vous voyagez avec une jeune famille .

Bad time to stay at this resort! The hotel and beach are lovely and the food was excellent. Our first 2 days were wonderful at the hotel , and then guests started to arrive for a 3 night Phish concert that was held at the hotel . There were people using drugs in public places all over the resort during the day , and we were kept awake with loud parties on the lawn right below us that started around 2 am and went until 6:30 am one night , and 5:30 am the other 2 nights . There were people running around the grounds screaming and banging on doors and we couldn’t call the front desk from our room. Don’t go to this resort while Phish is playing if you want a relaxing holiday or if you are traveling with a young family .

Vacances agréables

Excellente station... tout était si agréable... personnel sympathique... nourriture excellente... plage et piscines superbes... même des dauphins sur.lacation dans une piscine... nous avons visité Tulum c'était très beau avec une grande histoire!!!!!!!@@@@@@!!!!!@@@@@@@@ !!!!!!!

Deux fois, c'est aussi bien

C'est le premier hôtel où je retourne une deuxième fois en l'espace de trois ans pour mon anniversaire. J'ai connu trois hôtels cinq étoiles réservés aux adultes à Maya Riviera et le Barcelo les surpasse tous. Je ne peux pas dire assez de bien de cet hôtel, de l'enregistrement au départ. Cet hôtel s'occupe de vous pendant votre séjour et vous fait sentir comme un client superstar (allemand). Lors de votre séjour, vous avez le choix entre quatre restaurants à la carte. Outre leur délicie [... lire plus]ux buffet, j'ai réservé le Santa Fe(Ricardo) Trottoria et le Tokyo (Edgar)(Ricardo), qui servent tous deux des plats incroyables avec un service de premier ordre. Les seuls points perdus seraient l'état des salles de bains qui commencent à être usées, sinon, 4,75 étoiles. Je reviendrai !

Twice is just as nice This is the first hotel I return for a second time within three years for my birthday. I have experienced three five star adults only hotels in Maya Riviera and the Barcelo beats them all. I cannot say enough good things from this hotel from check-in to departure time. This hotel will cater you during your stay and makes you feel like a superstar guest (German). With your stay, you get a choice of four a la carte restaurants. Aside from their delicious buffet, I did book the Santa Fe(Ricardo) Trottoria and Tokyo (Edgar)(Ricardo) each serving up amazing food with top notch service. The only points lost would be the condition of the bathrooms where they are starting to look worn otherwise, 4.75 stars. I will be back again!
