Grand hôtel

Nous avons été très satisfaits dans l'ensemble de cet hôtel, très propre à commencer par les chambres, les salles à manger, il y avait toujours du personnel qui nettoyait les vitres des terrains etc..., la seule chose formidable était que nous n'avions pas à nous lever tôt le matin pour obtenir une chaise sur la plage car il y en avait plus qu'assez pour tout le monde autour de la piscine et de la plage... Tout le personnel de la réception, des bars, de la salle à manger, des divertissements, de [... lire plus] l'entretien ménager était toujours très amical et agréable, chacun d'entre eux était très accommodant pour rendre notre séjour agréable. La nourriture était incroyable avec un thème différent chaque soir et beaucoup de choix. Les chambres étaient aérées et très propres avec un joli patio avec des chaises et un sèche-linge. Les gens se plaignent du bruit des avions qui décollent car l'hôtel est proche de la fin de la piste, mais il n'est qu'à 10 minutes de l'aéroport, le bruit ne dure que 5 à 10 secondes et ce n'est pas tout le temps... Nous suggérons cet hôtel à tous ceux qui ne veulent pas perdre de temps à se rendre à l'aéroport et à en revenir...

Great Hotel We were very pleased overall with this hotel, very clean starting with the rooms, dining rooms, there was always staff cleaning windows the grounds etc.., the one great thing was that we did not have to get up early in the morning to get a chair on the beach as there was more than enough for everyone around the pool & beach .All the staff from reception, the bars, dining room, entertainment,housekeeping were always very friendly and pleasant each an everyone were very accommodating to make our stay pleasant. The food was amazing with a different theme every night and plenty of choices. The rooms were airy and very clean with a nice patio with chairs and dryer. The only thing was the time of check in it is 3 p.m. which they could not give our room until after but it was worth the wait ...suggestion get an later flight...people complain of the noise from airplanes taking off as it is close to end of the runway , but it is only 10 minutes from the airport, the noise only last for 5 to 10 seconds and it is not all the time...we would suggest this hotel to anyone who doesn't want to waste time traveling to and from the airport ...

Riu reggae montego bay

l'hôtel et le personnel sont incroyables j'y suis allé 4 fois et à chaque fois j'ai été époustouflé la nourriture est très bonne le terrain est impeccable les chambres sont incroyables je le recommande à tous ceux qui ont besoin d'une pause avec les enfants, c'est réservé aux adultes

the hotel and staff are amazing i have been there 4 time and every time as been amazing the food is very good the grounds are spotless the rooms are amazing would recommend to anyone that needs a break from kids , this is adult only

Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Tout était génial, propre et confortable ! J'aime l'atmosphère, le personnel, les divertissements et la nourriture. L'interaction avec le personnel est toujours un plaisir. Impossible de dire quoi que ce soit de négatif ! Excellentes vacances !!!!

J'ai adoré Riu Reggae !

Le Riu Reggae est un hôtel fabuleux et, en tant qu'établissement réservé aux adultes, c'est un endroit parfait pour une escapade en couple. Les trois établissements Riu constituent un endroit idéal pour faire de longues promenades sur la plage. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Nous avons adoré notre chambre avec vue partielle sur l'océan. Elle avait beaucoup d'espace et une grande cabine de douche. Le balcon donnait sur toute l'action. Les piscines sont fabuleuses, tout comme la pl [... lire plus]age. La nourriture était excellente, à l'exception du "Steakhouse". Les Jamaïcains ont beaucoup à apprendre sur l'aspect et la cuisson d'un bon steak. La carte des boissons est très complète et la sélection de rhums est vaste. Les animations nocturnes sont excellentes. Le seul désagrément dont je me souvienne est que le personnel de la salle à manger nettoie trop rapidement les tables. Si vous vous rendez une deuxième fois au buffet, vous reviendrez généralement devant une table vide. Certaines personnes pourraient être rebutées par le survol occasionnel d'un avion, car le complexe se trouve juste à l'extrémité de la piste principale de l'aéroport de Sangster, mais en toute honnêteté, vous ne les remarquez vraiment pas ; les perturbations sont très brèves. Le représentant de Sunwing était sur place tous les jours et s'occupait de toutes nos demandes d'excursions et de visites. En bref, nous avons passé un séjour FANTASTIQUE ! Le temps était parfait. Je recommanderais sans hésiter le Riu Reggae à tout le monde. Merci Jean de nous avoir aidés à choisir la destination idéale pour une escapade au soleil. Nous resterons en contact pour notre prochaine aventure.

Loved Riu Reggae!! Riu Reggae is a fabulous hotel, and as an adults only facility, it’s a perfect place for a couples escape. The 3 Riu properties all together make for a great place to take long beach walks. The staff are friendly and helpful. Loved our partial ocean view room. It had lots of space, and a big shower stall. The balcony overlooked all the action. The pools are fabulous, and so is the beach. The food was excellent, except for the “Steakhouse”. Jamaicans have a lot to learn about what a good steak looks like and how it’s cooked. The drink menu is extensive, and the rum selection is vast. The entertainment at night is great. The only annoyance I can recall is that the dining room staff are too fast cleaning up tables. A second trip to the Buffett will generally find you coming back to an empty table. Some people might be put off by the occasional airplane flying over, as the resort is just off the end of the main runway of Sangster Airport, but in all honesty, you really don’t notice them; the disruptions are very brief. The Sunwing rep was onsite every day and looked after all our excursion and sightseeing requests. In short, we had a FANTASTIC time! The weather was perfect. Would definitely recommend Riu Reggae to anyone. Thanks Jean for helping us pick the perfect sun spot getaway destination. Will be in touch for our next adventure.

Un centre de villégiature génial !

Des paysages magnifiques, des chambres très propres et spectaculaires ! La nourriture est absolument délicieuse ! Le personnel est si amical et attentionné, et si agréable à côtoyer. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un excellent centre de villégiature et un endroit idéal pour passer des vacances ! Ya man !!!

Awesome Resort!! Beautiful scenery, rooms so clean and spectacular!! Food absolutely delicious! Staff so friendly and caring, and so much fun to be around. Overall a great resort and a great place to spend a vacation!! Ya man!!

Ne recommande pas

Les restaurants n'étaient pas spectaculaires, la plupart n'étaient que des buffets. Le personnel était formidable, en particulier les barmans. Nous avons trouvé un hamburger dans notre congélateur deux jours après le début du voyage, provenant d'un ancien client. Après avoir laissé une robe suspendue dans la salle de bain, j'ai trouvé une tache d'eau de javel dessus le lendemain. Je ne recommanderais pas le resort

Would not recommend The restaurants weren’t spectacular, most of them were just buffets. The staff were great especially the bartenders. We found a burger in our freezer 2 days into the trip from the past guest. After leaving a dress hanging in the bathroom I found a bleach stain on it the next day. I wouldn’t recommend the resort

Une escapade agréable et relaxante !

Le vol aller a été retardé d'une heure et demie et le vol retour a été retardé d'environ 3 heures. L'hôtel est très proche de l'aéroport, nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel un peu après 22 heures et aucun restaurant n'était ouvert ou de la vraie nourriture était disponible ; l'option de nourriture que nous avions était des sandwichs, du popcorn et des nachos - il n'y avait plus de fromage nacho. Les boissons de bienvenue ont été servies 10 à 20 minutes après notre arrivée. Après une longue journée d [... lire plus]e voyage, nous voulions juste nous détendre, manger et boire, nous avons été un peu déçus. A part cela, la chambre était propre et à point, le personnel toujours joyeux et amical, l'hôtel était en grande partie propre, les animations nocturnes étaient agréables et on s'amusait au bord de la piscine à midi. Le complexe est petit, ce qui permet de se rendre rapidement et facilement de sa chambre au restaurant, aux bars, à la piscine et à la plage. Nous avons passé la plupart de notre temps à la plage, qui était toujours propre le matin. Nous sommes habitués à ce que les boissons nous soient servies lorsque nous sommes à la plage/piscine, mais ils ne le font pas ici. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les sports non motorisés et le personnel a toujours été serviable. Le meilleur du meilleur, c'était le poulet jerk sur la plage pour le déjeuner tous les jours !

Nice and relaxing getaway!! Flight going there got delayed 1.5 hrs and flight coming back delayed about 3 hrs. Hotel is super close from the airport, we arrived to the hotel a little after 10 pm and not restaurant was open or real food was available; the food option we had was sandwiches, popcorn and nachos- no nacho cheese left. Welcome drinks were served 10-20 minutes after we arrived. After a long day travelling we just wanted to relax, eat and drink, we got a bit disappointed. Other than that, room clean and timely, staff always cheerful and friendly, hotel was mostly clean, nice night entertainment and fun by the pool at noon. The resort its small, which makes it quick and easy to get from your room to the restaurant, bars, pool and beach. We spent most of our time at the beach, it was always clean in the mornings. We are used to having the drinks served to us while we are at the beach/pool, but they don't do it here. Enjoyed the no-motorized sports a lot and the staff always helpful. Best of the best, was jerk chicken on the beach for lunch everyday!

Bon centre de villégiature

Le centre de villégiature était génial ! Les gens sont gentils, le service est excellent et le site est très bien entretenu. Cependant, il y a eu quelques inconvénients. Il est très proche de l'aéroport et vous entendez un jet décoller toutes les 45 minutes. De plus, il est un peu petit à mon goût, surtout en ce qui concerne la plage. Mais dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un bon moment :)

Good Resort The resort was great! Nice people, amazing service, and very well kept. However there were a few setbacks as well. It’s very close to the airport so you hear a jet taking off about every 45minutes. Also it’s a tad small for my liking, especially the beach. But all in all we had a good time while there :)

Le Riu Reggae est un beau complexe hôtelier. Les chambres étaient propres et le service était impeccable, que ce soit le service de nettoyage, la réception ou le bar. J'ai adoré le fait que la salle de bain ait deux lavabos. La seule chose que je suggérerais est peut-être d'améliorer la qualité de la nourriture, mais dans l'ensemble, pour le prix et l'hôtel, c'est très raisonnable.

Good Resort Riu Reggae is a nice resort. The rooms were clean and the service was impeccable from the cleaning service, the front desk and the bar. loved the fact that the bathroom had two sinks. It was my birthday week and they made me feel super special decorating my room and giving me a little gift. the only thing i would suggest is maybe improving the quality of food but overall for the price and the hotel, it is very reasonable.

Station balnéaire étonnante !!!!

Le meilleur complexe jamais vu !!! Une équipe de divertissement, une nourriture et un emplacement incroyables. Les chambres et le complexe sont très propres. Idéal pour les célibataires, les couples et les personnes cherchant à s'amuser. La plage pourrait être un peu plus belle mais l'eau était chaude et calme. Très belles piscines, toutes deux avec des bars de nage.

Amazing resort!!!! Best resort ever!!! Amazing entertainment team, food and location. Very clean rooms and resort. Great for singles, couples and people looking to have a fun time. Beach could be a little nicer but water was warm and calm. Very nice pools, both with swim up bars.

Un lieu de villégiature amusant !

Nous avons passé 7 jours au Riu Reggae Montego Bay. À notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec des mimosas et nous nous sommes rapidement enregistrés. Le complexe est très agréable et moderne, spacieux sans être trop grand et dispose de nombreux équipements. Nous avions également accès aux services du Riu Montego Bay Resort, situé à environ 5 minutes de marche. La nourriture était excellente et il y avait beaucoup d'options végétaliennes. Je regrette cependant qu'il n'y ait pas plus d'opti [... lire plus]ons végétaliennes en fin de soirée, en dehors des fruits et des nachos secs. Ils auraient peut-être pu proposer de la salsa et du guac au lieu de la sauce au fromage des nachos. Les chambres et le terrain de la station étaient propres, le personnel a donné un excellent service et l'équipe d'animation était incroyable ! Ils travaillent tellement dur mais ils sont toujours souriants et veulent passer du temps ou jouer à des jeux avec vous ! Les gens d'ici vont nous manquer ! Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent moment et nous avons hâte de revenir ! Btw c'est vraiment un endroit pour faire la fête, alors soyez prêts à danser toute la journée et toute la nuit !

Fun resort! Spent 7 days at the Riu Reggae Montego Bay resort. Upon arrival we were greeted with mimosas and quickly checked in. The resort is very nice and modern, spacious while not being too big and has a lot of amenities. We also had access to the amenities at the Riu Montego Bay resort, which was about a 5 minute walk away. The food was great and they had lots of vegan options. One complaint though is I wish they'd have had more late night vegan options other than fruits and dry nacho chips. Maybe they could've offered salsa and guac instead of just nacho cheese sauce. The rooms and resort grounds were clean, the staff gave great service and the entertainment team was amazing!! They work so hard but they're always smiling and wanting to hang out or play games with you! We're gonna miss the people here! Overall we had a great time and can't wait to come back! Btw this is definitely a party resort so be ready to dance all day and night!

Très bon

Le personnel était formidable, de la réception au personnel d'accueil. Point négatif : la chambre n'a pas été nettoyée deux fois. Il a fallu appeler pour que ce soit fait. Je n'ai pas aimé la plage car les pieds s'enfoncent dans le sable trop profondément pour que je puisse profiter de l'océan. Le choix de la nourriture aurait pu être plus varié.

Very good Staff were awesome from Reception to waiting staff. Down point room was not cleaned twice. Had to call to be done. Did not like beach as feet sink into sand too deep for me to enjoy the ocean. Could have been more variety in the choice of food.

Favolous Resort

Nous sommes allés dans différentes stations balnéaires des Caraïbes, à Punta Cana, au Mexique, pour essayer un autre pays, nous avons choisi la Jamaïque. Nous nous sommes demandé dans quel établissement nous allions séjourner, et nous avons finalement choisi Riu pour découvrir cet hôtel également. C'est la première fois que nous séjournons dans cet hôtel et nous sommes ravis d'avoir fait le bon choix ! Les vues sont magnifiques, l'hôtel est très propre et les gens, yaamann ! Tellement gentils. V [... lire plus]ous leur donnez un pourboire ou non, ils prennent soin de vous et de tout le monde avec un accueil chaleureux et des personnes vraiment agréables à côtoyer, cool comme on dit. L'animation est telle que vous ne manquerez pas la prochaine. Une reconnaissance spéciale à Jaguar, Hollywood, Spice, Lady Momo, Black Beauty, Spark, Jayjo (pas sûr que ce soit correct), Fresh, et le reste des artistes. Ils sont si talentueux et ont vraiment montré la définition du divertissement. Mon spectacle préféré est l'histoire de l'Afrique et le spectacle comique qu'ils ont présenté samedi dernier, à la fin de nos vacances. La nourriture est fraîche et authentique. J'adore le poulet Jerk qu'ils servent à la plage. Les patates douces, c'est du vrai ! J'adore. Les chambres sont toujours propres et bien organisées. J'ai oublié le nom de notre gouvernante mais elle est très gentille aussi. Nous sommes au premier étage du côté droit du hall, c'est très pratique, insonorisé, à quelques pas de la plage et de la piscine. Je n'ai aucun commentaire négatif à formuler sur mon expérience en Jamaïque et dans cet hôtel. C'est extraordinaire ! Merci à tout le personnel de Reggae et en particulier aux artistes. J'aime la façon dont ils viennent remercier les gens après leur performance, en particulier Jaguar, ma sœur et moi l'aimons tellement. Elle est gentille, très talentueuse et très belle. Faites l'expérience de la Jamaïque et YAMANN !

We been going to different Carribean resort, at Punta Cana, Mexico, to try other country, we choose Jamaica. Debating which resort we are going to stay, we end up choosing Riu to experience this hotel also. This is our first time in this hotel, so glad that we choose the RIGHT one! Beautiful views, very clean, and the people, yaamann! So nice. You tip them or not they take care of you and everybody with warm welcome and really nice people to be with, cool as they say. Entertainment is favolous that you will not take a chance to miss the next one. A special recognition to Jaguar, Hollywood, Spice, Lady Momo, Black Beauty, Spark, Jayjo ( not sure if this is correct), Fresh,and the rest of the entertainer. They are so talented and really showed the definition of Entertainment. My favourite show is the story of AFRICA and comedy show they did last Saturday, the end of our vacation. The Food, wow fresh and Authentic. Love the Jerk chicken they are serving at the beach. Sweet potatoes is real man! Love it. Room is always clean and organize. I forget the name of our housekeeper but she is very nice also. We are at the first floor of the right side of the lobby, it was very convenient, sound proof, steps away from the beach and pool. I can't think of any negative comment with my experience in Jamaica and in this hotel. Amaizing! Thank you all Reggae Staff and specially to entertainers. I love the way they come to Thank people after their performance specially Jaguar, me and my sister love her so much. She is kind and a very talented person, and very beautiful. Experience Jamaica everyone and YAMANN!

C'était un grand centre de villégiature

Les piscines du terrain n'étaient pas mal ! La nourriture était incroyablement bonne. Je reviendrai certainement. J'ai passé des vacances très relaxantes. Seul bémol Sunwing Airlines a perdu nos bagages, nous ne les avons pas reçus après 3 jours, sinon tout était super....

Was a great resort Grounds pools was not bad! Food was amazingly good. Would definitely return. Had a well relaxing vacation. Only down fall Sunwing Airlines lost our luggage didn’t receive it after 3 days other than that everything was great....

Vacances fantastiques au RIU Reggae

Ce complexe offre un excellent service, le terrain est très bien entretenu et les chambres sont d'une propreté irréprochable. Le personnel était amical et prêt à aider de quelque manière que ce soit. Les sports nautiques étaient agréables et en bon état. C'était un endroit idéal pour se détendre et se relaxer.

Fantastic vacation at RIU Reggae This resort has excellent service, the grounds are very well maintained and the rooms were spotless clean. The staff were friendly and willing to help in any way. The water sports were enjoyable and in good condition. This was a great place to relax and unwind.

La plage est parfaite, les gens sont extraordinaires et la nourriture est la meilleure que j'aie jamais mangée dans un centre de villégiature.Notre chambre était très propre et confortable.Il y a beaucoup à faire et les spectacles du soir étaient exceptionnels.Le poulet jerk était délicieux.

Best resort yet. The beach is perfect,the people amazing and the best food I have ever had at a resort.Our room was very clean and comfortable.Lots to do and the evening shows were outstanding.The jerk chicken was delishous .

Ce n'est pas ce que j'attendais, mais c'est quand même bien

Nous avons trouvé l'hôtel agréable mais nous nous attendions à quelque chose de plus spectaculaire pour un hôtel 5 étoiles. Le sable de la plage était rugueux et il y avait beaucoup d'algues. Nous avons également réservé une excursion d'une journée mais ils se sont trompés sur l'heure de prise en charge du bus et nous avons dû reprogrammer un autre jour car l'heure de prise en charge était plus tôt que ce qui était indiqué sur notre facture. Nous avons attendu dans le hall pendant une heu [... lire plus]re avant de pouvoir joindre un représentant. Les piscines étaient très belles et propres.

Not what I was expecting but still OK We thought the hotel looked nice but we were expecting to see something more spectacular for a 5 stars hotel. The sand on the beach was rough and there was a lot of sea weed. We also booked a day trip but they made a mistake on the time for the bus pick-up and we had to re-schedule for another day because the pick-up time was earlier than what was on our bill. We waited at the lobby for an hour before a representative could be reached. The pools were very nice and clean.

Complexe touristique exceptionnel

L'hôtel est très propre, le terrain est très beau, les chambres sont belles et modernes, le service est toujours là pour vous aider, la nourriture est excellente et les spectacles sont superbes, j'ai passé un très bon momentðŸŒ'La plage était propre !

L'hôtel était comme la plupart des commentaires, de superbes chambres, nous avions une chambre face à l'océan, ce qui était génial, la plage se trouvait juste en dessous de notre chambre. Les gens étaient merveilleux, travailleurs, amicaux, très propres, la nourriture était bonne, très variée et nous avons adoré le fait que ce soit un petit complexe et que tout soit si proche. C'était la première fois que nous allions en Jamaïque, après avoir visité de nombreuses autres destinations, et cet hôte [... lire plus]l est notre préféré jusqu'à présent, et nous y retournerons sans aucun doute

Great resort Resort was as most reviews said, great rooms, we had an ocean front room which was awesome , the beach right there below our room. The people were wonderful, hard working , friendly, very clean, food was good lots of variety and we loved that it was a small resort that everything was so close. It was our first time to Jamaica after being in many other destinations and this ranks right up there being our favorite so far, would definitely return
