Riu Palace Jamaica: Chez soi loin de chez soi

Cet hôtel est un endroit parfait pour se détendre et se relaxer... le personnel est si gentil et fait tout ce qu'il peut pour vous connaître... Natasha à la réception était géniale et Jemar est un serveur pour le petit déjeuner et le déjeuner, il était fantastique... Storm était un serveur pour le dîner également génial... Paul était un barman au bar de la piscine, il sert les meilleures boissons. Home away from home This hotel is a perfect place to relax and unwind...the staff is so kind and do everything they can to get to know you...Natasha at the front desk was awesome and Jemar is a server for breakfast and lunch he was fantastic..Storm was a dinner server also great...Paul was a bartender at the pool bar he serves the best drinks. The grounds are extremely clean and the food is delicious...even the picky eaters will find something to eat

Riu Ocho Rios: Grand centre de villégiature

Le complexe est propre, la chambre est propre, le personnel est formidable. L'accueil à la réception, lorsque nous avons demandé de l'aide pour réserver un dîner, a été un peu impoli avec nous. Tout le monde n'utilise pas un téléphone. La commande d'articles supplémentaires pour la chambre (boissons gazeuses) par l'intermédiaire de l'application a été très lente, comme le jour suivant. Attention au sol de la chambre, il était mouillé, il fallait donc faire attention en marchant. (Condensation).

Great Resort The resort was clean, room clean, staff great. Reception at front desk when asking for help to reserve dinner was little rude to us. Not everyone uses a phone. Ordering through the application for extra stuff for the room (pop) very slow, like next day. Careful with the floor in the room, they were wet so had to be careful walking. (Condensation).

Riu Ocho Rios: 31 janvier-février 2024

Moi-même et ma femme avons séjourné ici du 31 janvier 2024 au 7 février 2024. Je commencerai par les points positifs, puis j'évoquerai les points négatifs. Positif : L'hôtel lui-même était très propre, la nourriture était incroyable, les divertissements quotidiens et les boissons étaient tous à point. Les animations nocturnes étaient agréables, à l'exception de la soirée Bob Marley. J'aurais pensé que cette soirée était dédiée à Bob Marley et à la musique reggae pure, mais ils ont joué du  [... lire plus]dancehall, du RNB et du Hip Hop, ce qui n'avait absolument aucun sens pour moi. Ils auraient dû présenter un diaporama sur Bob Marley et jouer Bob Marley d'abord et du reggae à l'ancienne, rien d'autre ! La nourriture quotidienne était excellente, en particulier le fait d'avoir de l'Ackee et du poisson salé tous les jours pour le petit déjeuner et les boulettes frites étaient une bonne chose. Le thé au cacao était délicieux ou, pour certains, le chocolat chaud. Le porridge de plantain était absolument délicieux. Le jerk hut était en grande partie bon. Je ne me souviens pas avoir vu de queue de bœuf au buffet, mais nous n'avons pas mangé au buffet tous les jours, il se peut donc que nous l'ayons manqué. BUFFET : Nous visitons un pays étranger par un temps de plus de 30 degrés, personne ne veut avoir à transpirer et à porter des chemises en tant qu'hommes, alors que toutes les femmes portent des hauts sans manches et presque rien et que vous vous inquiétez qu'un homme en débardeur aille au même buffet que nous le matin et l'après-midi avec le même débardeur. Cela n'a aucun sens. À la carte, je peux comprendre. Négatif : Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, on nous a donné une chambre qui ne convenait pas. Je ne blâme pas complètement l'hôtel pour cela, je blâme Sunwing. Nous avons précisé à l'agent de voyage que nous avions tous les deux des problèmes de mobilité et que nous avions demandé à être placés dans une chambre proche de l'ascenseur et du buffet. Ils nous ont mis dans une chambre où nous devions monter deux rampes, ce qui était inacceptable. Nous sommes retournés à l'accueil pour demander un changement de chambre, ce qui a été un peu difficile, mais nous avons finalement réussi à changer de chambre. L'autre problème que nous avons rencontré est que nous avions réservé une chambre avec vue sur l'océan. Nous avons obtenu une chambre avec vue partielle sur l'océan si vous mesurez 1,80 m et que vous pouvez voir par-dessus les palmiers. L'hôtel nous a dit que ce n'était pas de leur faute et que la vue sur l'océan coûtait plus cher. Je n'ai pas apprécié car j'ai réservé avec red tag et d'autres agences et j'ai demandé une chambre avec vue sur l'océan au Bahia Principe par exemple et j'ai eu exactement ce que j'avais demandé.... Lorsque nous avons voulu partir et que nous avons dû laisser nos bagages, ils ont été placés dans une pièce qui n'était pas fermée à clé et à laquelle n'importe qui pouvait accéder, ce qui n'avait aucun sens. Les choses importantes comme les bagages qui ne sont pas accompagnés ne devraient pas être placés dans une salle de stockage non verrouillée où n'importe qui peut y accéder, indépendamment de l'appareil photo. Il suffit de verrouiller la porte et de sécuriser les objets. Mieux vaut prévenir que guérir. DANS L'ENSEMBLE, LE SÉJOUR À L'HÔTEL S'EST BIEN PASSÉ : Le séjour à l'hôtel a été bon dans l'ensemble, les points négatifs ne nous empêcheront pas de revenir dans cet hôtel, mais je vous conseille vivement de réserver pour au moins 8 à 10 jours si vous souhaitez séjourner dans cet hôtel. Du début à la fin, nous avons commencé notre voyage par l'avion à 9h15, et nous ne sommes arrivés à l'hôtel qu'à presque 18h. Nous avons passé 3 heures dans la file d'attente de la douane, et 2 heures de plus à attendre le départ du bus, plus 2 heures de route pour arriver à l'hôtel. Donc si vous réservez pour 7 jours, votre premier jour est un amortissement, et nous sommes partis à 9 heures du matin, donc encore une fois le dernier jour est un amortissement. Donc en gros, un voyage dans cet hôtel signifie perdre 2 jours sur 7 techniquement.

Jan 31-Feb 2024 Myself and my wife stayed here from Jan 31-2024 to Feb 7th 2024. I will start with the positive first and then I will advise of the negative. Positive: The hotel itself was very clean, the food was amazing, the daily entertainment and the drinks we were all on point. The nightly entertainment was nice, with the exception of the Bob Marley night. I would have thought this was dedicated to Bob Marley and pure reggae music, but they played dancehall, RNB and Hip Hop which made absolutely no sense to me. They should have had a Bob Marley slide show, and played Bob Marley first and old school reggae nothing else!! The food on a daily was Blessed, especially having Ackee and Saltfish daily for breakfast and fried dumpling was a good look. The cocoa tea was nice or for some they may refer to it as hot chocolate. The plantain porridge was to die for that was absolutely amazing. The jerk hut for the most part was good. I did not however recall seeing any Oxtail at the buffet, but we did not eat at the buffet every day so we might have missed it. BUFFET: One thing I seriously believe needs to change and this is not just this resort it is ALL resorts, STOP asking us as visitors to wear shirts, buffet is a buffet it is NOT an A La Carte, we are visiting a foreign country in 30+ degree weather, nobody wants to have to sweat and wear shirts as men when you have all these women wearing sleeveless tops and next to nothing and you are concerned about a man in a tank top to go to the same buffet that we went to in the morning and afternoon in the same tank top. That makes no sense. A la carte I can understand. Negative: When we first arrived we were given a room that was not suitable. I do not blame the hotel completely for this, I blame sunwing. It was made clear to the travel agent that we both have mobility issues and requested to be put in a room close to the elevator and close to the buffet. They put us in a room that we had to go up 2 ramps which was unacceptable. We came back to the front to request a change in rooms, this was a bit of a tussle but we finally managed to change our rooms. The other issue we had was we booked according to trip central an Oceanview room. We got a partial ocean view room if you are 6ft tall and can see over the palm trees sure. We were advised by the hotel that this was no fault of theirs and that an ocean room view costs more. TBH this was a turn off because I have booked with red tag and other agencies and requested an ocean view room at Bahia Principe for example and I got just what I asked for... When we wanted to depart and had to leave our luggage, it was put into a room that had no lock on it and anyone could access it, this made no sense. Important things such as luggage that is not accompanied should not be put into a non locked storage room where anyone can access it, regardless of camera's. Just put a lock on the door and secure the items. Prevent is better than cure. OVERALL: The overall stay at the resort was good, the negative would not stop us from revisiting this hotel, I would however strongly suggest if you are to stay at this hotel to book for min 8-10 days. From start to finish we started our journey on the plane at 915am, and we did not arrive at the hotel till almost 6pm. We spent 3 hours just in the customs line, and another 2hrs waiting on the bus to leave, plus another 2hr + drive to get to the hotel. So if you book for 7 days your first day is a write off, and we left at 9am so again now the last day is a write off. So in essence a trip to this hotel means losing 2 out of 7 days technically.

Riu Yucatan: Séjour fantastique !

C'était la première fois que je séjournais dans un complexe Riu et je peux dire que je réserverai dorénavant dans ces établissements. Le personnel était incroyablement amical, accueillant, amusant et serviable. Je tiens à remercier tout particulièrement Victor et Gustavo de l'équipe de divertissement et les barmans de la piscine (Leo, Bryan et Santiago). Les chambres étaient très propres et n'ont posé aucun problème. L'air conditionné fonctionne très bien et le sommeil a été très confortable. [... lire plus] Nous avons adoré les déjeuners spéciaux au bord de la piscine et de la plage ! Ce n'est pas un centre de villégiature très calme, donc si vous recherchez uniquement la détente, ce n'est peut-être pas pour vous, mais nous avons vraiment apprécié le nombre de choses qui se passaient en permanence, car nous avions l'impression qu'il y avait quelque chose pour tout le monde. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été incroyablement satisfaits de notre séjour au Riu Yucatan !

Fantastic stay! This was the first time staying at a Riu resort and I can definitely say I will be booking them from now on. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, fun and helpful. Special shout-out to Victor and Gustavo on the entertainment team and the pool bartending staff (Leo, Bryan and Santiago). Rooms were very clean and had no issues whatsoever. The air conditioning works great and it was a very comfortable sleep. The food was pretty good compared to other resorts we’ve been to. we absolutely loved the special lunches by the pool and the beach!! It’s not a super quiet resort so if you are looking for relaxation only then it may not be for you but we really appreciated how many things were always going on because it felt like there was something for everyone. Overall we were incredibly happy with our stay at Riu Yucatan!

Riu Negril: Merveilleuses vacances !

Nous venons de rentrer de deux semaines au Riu Negril. Nous sommes allés dans plusieurs Riu Resorts dans les Caraïbes et ce Riu était tout ce que nous attendions de Riu. Le complexe est charmant. Comme d'autres commentaires l'ont indiqué, il y a un peu d'usure, mais c'est mineur - c'est une station balnéaire et c'est normal. De plus, des travaux de rénovation sont prévus cet automne. La station est impeccable. Il est toujours en train d'être nettoyé et entretenu. Notre chambre était très, très [... lire plus] propre ! Spacieuse et confortable ! La nourriture était également très bonne. Ils font un travail formidable pour offrir une cuisine jamaïcaine authentique ! Star Apple et Jack fruit tous les matins ! Bammy, festival et boulettes. Ackee et poisson salé, calalloo, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns ! Le personnel est sympathique, joyeux et engageant. L'équipe de divertissement... Bravo ! Pluto, Bryan, Trovis, Scotty, Miguel, Tantan, Maggie, Titi, Shanelle, Pineapple, Damien, merci pour votre professionnalisme, votre talent et votre dévouement. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ! Nous nous sommes beaucoup amusés ! Nous sommes très heureux d'avoir choisi de séjourner au Riu Negril pendant deux semaines... nous avions envisagé d'aller dans un autre centre de villégiature pour faire une pause.... aucun regret ! Nous avons passé de merveilleux moments. Même avec ce temps de folie qui a soufflé toutes les algues de l'océan Atlantique sur notre plage lol. La station s'en est occupée dès que possible et a travaillé dur pour nettoyer et garder une longueur d'avance ! Bravo ! Si vous voulez vivre l'expérience de la Jamaïque... dans un centre de villégiature tout compris... ce centre de villégiature a une excellente ambiance jamaïcaine. Nous sommes très à l'aise en dehors du site, vivant en Jamaïque... nous étions donc un peu hésitants à séjourner dans un complexe tout compris et à manquer la "vraie" Jamaïque... Riu Negril n'a pas déçu... vous savez que vous êtes en Jamaïque dans ce complexe.

Wonderful vacation! We just returned from 2 weeks at Riu Negril. We’ve been to several Riu Resorts in the Caribbean and this Riu was everything we expected from Riu. The resort is lovely. As other reviews have stated…there is a bit of wear and tear but it is minor—-it’s a seaside resort and that’s par for the course. Also…they are planning to renovate this fall. The resort is pristine. Always being cleaned and groomed. Our room was very, very clean! Spacious and comfortable! The food was very good as well. They do a terrific job of providing authentic Jamaican cuisine! Star Apple and Jack fruit every morning! Bammy, festival and dumplings. Ackee and salt fish, calalloo to name a few! The staff—friendly, cheerful and engaging. The entertainment staff…Bravo! Pluto, Bryan, Trovis, Scotty, Miguel, Tantan, Maggie, Titi, Shanelle, Pineapple, Damien, thank you for your professionalism, talent, and dedication to your work. We appreciated it very much! So much fun! We are very happy with our choice to stay at Riu Negril for 2 weeks…we had considered going to a different resort to break it up….no regrets! We had a wonderful time. Even with that crazy weather that blew up all the seaweed in the Atlantic Ocean onto our beach lol. The resort was on it asap and worked hard to clean it up and stay ahead of it! Well done! If you want to experience Jamaica…within an all inclusive resort…this resort has a great Jamaican vibe. We are very comfortable off site, living in Jamaica…so we were a bit hesitant to stay at an all inclusive and miss out on ‘real’ Jamaica…Riu Negril didn’t disappoint…you know you’re in Jamaica at this resort.

Riu Flamingos: J'ai hâte d'y retourner !

Excellent séjour à tous points de vue. L'hôtel lui-même était propre et bien entretenu. Le terrain est magnifique, surtout au coucher du soleil ! La nourriture était bonne et variée. Nous avons également apprécié les animations tous les soirs ! Le personnel est notre plus grand coup de cœur, car il s'est surpassé pour rendre notre séjour confortable. Ils ont été si amicaux et accueillants à tous les niveaux ! Nous avons vraiment hâte d'y retourner !

Can’t wait to go back! Great stay in every way. The hotel itself was clean and well cared for. The grounds are so beautiful-especially at sunset! Food was good with lots of variety. We also enjoyed the entertainment every evening! The staff is our biggest rave as they all went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They were so friendly and welcoming at every level! We truly can’t wait to go back!

Riu Caribe Cancun: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Mon groupe a passé un excellent moment au Riu Caribe ! Les terrains étaient superbes, la nourriture ne posait pas de problème et vu la taille de l'hôtel, tout était à portée de main. Il y a 4 soirées mousse par semaine, donc si vous aimez danser et vous amuser, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut ! Le Riu fait un excellent travail en séparant les zones pour enfants des zones pour adultes, afin que tout le monde puisse s'amuser sans conflit. Les plages étaient ratissées tous les matins et il y avait  [... lire plus]beaucoup de chaises pour s'asseoir. Je retournerai sans aucun doute au Riu Caribe !

Amazing resort My group had a great time at Riu Caribe! The grounds were great, no complaints on the food and given the size of the resort, everything felt like a stone's throw away. There are 4 foam parties a week, so if you like dancing and having a good time, this is the place for you! The Riu does a great job separating kids areas from adult zones, so everyone can have a great time without any conflict. The beaches were raked every morning and there were plenty of chairs to sit on. I am definitely going back to the Riu Caribe!

Riu Lupita: Riu Lupita Playacar

Un hôtel de plus petite taille. Le terrain était très beau et bien entretenu. Notre 4ème Riu et tout ce que l'on attend d'eux. La chambre était belle, l'atmosphère était belle, le service était très bon. Un cadre plus intime qui a permis une escapade relaxante. Moises et le service du bar étaient excellents. Le buffet était de première classe, avec une mention spéciale pour Marco et son équipe le matin et Maria et son équipe l'après-midi. Il était facile de s'amuser avec tout le personnel,  [... lire plus]de Riga, qui s'est occupé de notre chambre, à Olivia et d'autres à la réception. Le groupe d'animation a plus de mal à faire fonctionner les activités dans un lieu plus petit, mais il fait du bon travail en obtenant la participation de tous. Une mention spéciale pour José au Beach Club. Le bureau de change a été un plus cette fois-ci. Il n'y a pas de problème et le service est excellent, ce qui évite d'avoir à trouver une banque pour effectuer cette opération. Enfin, la nourriture et le chef cuisinier ne nous ont jamais déçus dans aucun Riu. C'est très bien.

A smaller scale hotel. Grounds were very nice and well kept. Our 4th Riu and everything one expects from them. Room was nice, Atmosphere was nice, service was very good. A more intimate setting which made for a relaxing getaway. Moises and the bar service was excellent. Buffet was first class with special mention to Marco and his crew in the mornings and Maria and her crew in the afternoon. It was easy to have fun with all the staff from Riga, who took care of our room to Olivia and others at the front desk. Activities group have a tougher task getting things going in a smaller venue but do a good job getting participation in spite of this. Special shoutout to José at the Beach Club. A bonus this time was the foreign exchange desk. Hassle free with great service taking away the headache of having to find a bank to get this done. Lastly the food and chef staff have not disappointed us yet at any Riu. Well done.

Riu Guanacaste: Un centre de villégiature formidable !

Le Riu Guanacaste était un complexe extraordinaire avec une grande sélection de restaurants sans limites pour les dîners à la carte. Le buffet proposait une grande variété de plats à tout moment. Notre chambre était propre et très spacieuse, avec un mini-frigo et un bar bien remplis ! Notre balcon offrait une vue magnifique. Il y avait toujours des chaises longues disponibles autour de la piscine ou de la plage. Le service dans les bars et les restaurants était excellent. Les divertissements no [... lire plus]cturnes étaient excellents, en particulier la "white party" du vendredi soir ! Nous prévoyons certainement d'y retourner !

Awesome resort! The Riu Guanacaste was an amazing resort with a great selection of restaurants with no limits on a la carte dinners. The buffet had a great variety of food at any time. Our room was clean and very spacious with a stocked mini fridge and bar! Our view from the balcony was beautiful. There were always lounge chairs available around the pool or beach. The service at the bars and restaurants was excellent. The nightly entertainment was great, especially the white party Friday night! We're certainly planning on going back!

Riu Santa Fe: Beau mais bruyant

Ce Riu est l'un des hôtels les plus agréables et les mieux entretenus dans lesquels nous ayons séjourné. Propre, excellents restaurants, belle plage, excellents équipements. L'inconvénient est qu'il y avait beaucoup de bruit presque partout dans l'hôtel. Les piscines étaient proches les unes des autres avec de la musique concurrente presque tout le temps, et le personnel d'animation était un peu trop. 4 jours par semaine, ils organisent une fête de type rave à laquelle il est impossible d'échapp [... lire plus]er dans le complexe et probablement dans les complexes voisins. C'était un peu trop. Et bien sûr, après de telles fêtes, les gens ne sont pas tranquilles dans les couloirs ou à l'extérieur des chambres. Si vous voulez faire la fête, c'est là qu'il faut aller. Si vous voulez vous détendre et vous reposer, essayez peut-être un autre complexe de Cabo. Cabo était une destination merveilleuse cependant et j'envisagerais certainement d'y retourner, ce qui n'est pas quelque chose que nous avons l'habitude de faire. Dans l'ensemble, un beau complexe mais bruyant.

Beautiful but loud This Riu was one of the nicest, well kept hotels we have ever stayed at. Clean, great restaurants, nice beach, great amenities. The downside is it was very loud almost everywhere on the resort. The pools were close together with competing music at almost all times, and the entertainment staff was a bit much. 4 days a week they hold a rave style party which is impossible to escape on the resort and most likely the neighbouring resorts as well. It was a bit much. And of course after parties like that people are not going to be quiet in the hallways or outside your rooms. If you are looking to party this is the place to go. If you want to relax and rest maybe try another Cabo resort. Cabo was a wonderful destination though and I would consider returning for sure which isn’t something we tend to do. Overall a beautiful resort but loud.

Riu Negril: Jamaïque ? ?

Nous avons séjourné au rui negril du 5 au 12 février 2024 Il y avait eu une tempête juste avant notre arrivée. Il y avait beaucoup d'algues qui s'étaient échouées sur la plage, ce qui était un peu décevant, mais après quelques jours, l'hôtel avait tout nettoyé et la baie était magnifique. Le personnel était très sympathique et serviable, la nourriture était délicieuse au buffet et à l'Al a cartes. Les divertissements étaient très bons, en particulier le spectacle de tambours d'acier. Même le chauffeur du bus qui nous a emmenés à l'hôtel et en est revenu était très instructif sur la culture et l'histoire de la Jamaïque, il a fait passer le long trajet en un clin d'œil Je recommanderais sans hésiter ce centre de villégiature

Jamaica ?? We stayed at the rui negril Feb 5 to 12 , 2024 There had been a storm just before we arrived. The was a lot a seaweed that had washed up on the beach which was a little disappointing but after a few days the resort had cleared it all up and the bay looked amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious at the buffet and Al a cartes. The entertainment was very good especially the steel drum show. Rooms were clean and a good size. The whole entertainment crew were very personable and had us joining in the fun and games.Even the bus driver that took us to and from the resort was very informative about the culture and history of Jamaica he made the long ride fly by I would definitely recommend this resort

Riu Palace Antillas: Grand centre de villégiature.

Superbe hôtel avec une vue magnifique sur l'océan. Nous avions une suite avec un grand lit. Matelas bien ferme. Bon entretien ménager et réfrigérateur réapprovisionné chaque jour. Superbe buffet avec beaucoup de variété et des options différentes chaque jour. Les restaurants à la carte étaient tous excellents, le restaurant italien étant notre préféré. Le seul point négatif est que le menu est le même toute la semaine mais il y a quand même assez de choix. Il est conseillé de s'y rendre t [... lire plus]ôt car ils se remplissent. Nous n'avons jamais eu de problème. Le service est excellent et les sourires nombreux. Le déjeuner se fait sous forme de buffet et est identique au petit déjeuner. La piscine et la plage ont le problème habituel des clients qui réclament des places. Nous sommes toujours allés à la piscine en milieu d'après-midi et n'avons jamais eu de problème. Les divertissements nocturnes allaient de bons à excellents. Le personnel est sympathique et le quartier est sûr avec beaucoup de choses à faire dans les environs immédiats. Le bar du hall devient très fréquenté et bruyant à l'heure du dîner.

Great resort. Great hotel with a great ocean view. We had a suite with a king bed. Nice firm mattress. Good housekeeping and fridge re stocked each day. Great buffet with lots of variety and different options each day. La Carte restaurants were all great with the Italian one being our favorite. Only negative about them is the same menu all week but still enough options. Do suggest to get there early as they do fill up. We never had a problem. Great service and lots of smiles. Lunch is buffet only and sane as breakfast. Pool and beach have the usual problem with guest claiming spots. We always went to the pool mid afternoon and never had a problem. Nightly entertainment ranged from good to excellent. Friendly staff and area is safe with lots to do in the immediate area. The lobby bar gets busy and noisy around dinner time.

Riu Montego Bay: Nice Resort

Nous avons trouvé ce complexe extrêmement propre et bien entretenu. Le personnel de maison et le personnel des restaurants étaient extrêmement aimables et appréciaient les pourboires, mais la plupart des employés des bars n'étaient pas aussi aimables et s'attendaient à un pourboire. Nous ne le savions pas à l'avance, mais si vous séjournez au Riu Montego Bay, vous n'êtes pas autorisé à visiter le Riu Ragae ou le Riu Palace, mais tous deux ont un accès gratuit au Riu Montego Bay. il y a un bar  [... lire plus]dans votre chambre avec quatre bouteilles de Johnny Walkers Red, de rhum, de vodka Smirnoff et de gin Gordons. Aucune des bouteilles n'était pleine lorsque nous sommes arrivés, la bouteille de Johnny Walkers Red était au quart pleine après avoir bu quelques verres et au cours de notre deuxième semaine, nous avons demandé à ce qu'ils la remplacent, leur réponse a été désolée, nous n'en avons plus. Les chambres étaient très propres et agréables, mais le matelas et les oreillers étaient très inconfortables. Nous avons trouvé que la nourriture dans tous les restaurants était très bonne ! Le représentant de Sunwing était très difficile à trouver, ils prétendent qu'ils sont là toute la journée, mais à deux reprises, nous étions quatre à huit à attendre pendant plus de 40 minutes à leur station et ils ne sont jamais venus, lorsque nous les avons confrontés et expliqué que nous ne pouvions pas les trouver pour réserver un tour et que nous avons donc pris un taxi à la place, ils nous ont dit que c'était impossible car ils sont là tout le temps (je suppose donc que tous les huit d'entre nous qui les attendaient doivent se tromper) de plus, on nous a dit de voir le représentant de Sunwing un jour avant le départ, encore une fois, nous étions six à les attendre et les représentants de Sunwing étaient introuvables. Nous avons demandé aux deux autres représentants s'ils savaient où ils se trouvaient et ils nous ont répondu qu'ils n'en avaient aucune idée mais qu'ils les voyaient rarement. Lorsque nous avons finalement trouvé le représentant de Sunwing, il a été extrêmement impoli avec nous tous. Nous avons demandé à d'autres personnes sur le chemin du retour si elles avaient eu des problèmes avec le personnel de Sunwing et leurs histoires étaient bien pires que les nôtres. Le voyage de retour a été très mal organisé car il y avait trois avions, un pour Toronto, un pour Ottawa et un pour Montréal, qui partaient tous à cinq minutes d'intervalle, ce qui nous a pris deux heures et demie à faire la queue sans air conditionné pour passer l'enregistrement Quatre piscines et beaucoup de gens assis autour, mais trois des piscines étaient vides car l'eau était très froide, la piscine du bar était pleine et je suis sûr qu'elle était chaude car la plupart des gens qui s'y trouvaient avaient bu toute la journée et je n'ai vu personne sortir pour utiliser les toilettes ! inutile de dire que je ne suis pas allé dans cette piscine non plus. LOL Pour résumer, une fois de plus, la plupart du personnel était formidable et très agréable, la nourriture était assez bonne, le complexe était bien entretenu et propre. La plupart des problèmes ont été causés par le personnel de Sunwing.

We thought this resort was extremily clean, well taken care of. The house keeping staff as well as all of the dinning staff were extremely friendly and very appreciative of the gratuities, but most of the bar staff were not that friendly and actually expected a .gratuity. We did not know this in advance but it you stay at the Riu Montego Bay you are not allowed to visit the Riu Ragae or the Riu Palace but both of those have free access to the Riu Montego Bay, You will not have to worry about getting a glow as your drinks are all ice. there is a bar in your room with four bottles Johnny Walkers red, Rum, Smirnoff Vodka, and Gordons Gin. none of the bottles were full when we arrived, the Johnny Walkers red was a quarter full after having a few drinks from it and into our second week we requested they replace it, their response was sorry we don't have any more. The rooms were very clean and nice but the mattress and the pillows were very uncomfortable. We thought the food in all of the restaurants was very good ! The Sunwing Rep was very difficult to find, they claim they are there all day long, but on two occasions there were four to eight of us waiting for over 40 mins. at there station and they never did show up, when we confronted them and explained that we could not find them to book a tour so took a taxi instead they told us that was impossible as they are there all the time ( so I assume that all 8 of us waiting for them must be wrong ) also we were told to see the sunwing rep a day prior to check out again there were six of us waiting for them and the sunwing reps were no where to be found. We asked the other two travel reps, if they new where they were and there response was they had not idea but seldom seen them. When we finally did find the sunwing rep they were extremely rude with all of us. We asked others on the trip home if they experienced any issues with the sunwing staff and their storries were far worse than ours. Very unorganized on the trip home as there were three planes one to Toronto, one to Ottawa and one to Montreal all leaving within five minutes of each other so it took us two and a half hours standing in line with no Air Conditioning waitng to check through Four swimming pools and a lot of people sitting around them, but three of the pools were empty as the water was very cold, the bar pool was full and I am sure it was warm as most of the people in there were drinking all day and I didn't see anyone get out to use the washrooms ! needless to say I did not go in that pool either. LOL To sum it up once again most of the staff were amazing and very pleasant, food was quite good, resort was well maintained and clean. Most of the aggravation was with the Sunwing Staff .

Riu Flamingos: Au mieux, elle est médiocre

Je commencerai par dire que si vous vous attendez à ce que cet hôtel soit proche d'un hôtel 5 étoiles, vous serez très déçus. Je savais que ce n'était pas comparable aux autres centres de villégiature où je suis allée, mais je ne m'attendais pas à ce que la nourriture soit aussi horrible. Je travaille dans le nord de l'Alberta et je séjourne dans un camp où la nourriture est meilleure. Les lits sont terriblement inconfortables et je n'ai pas réussi à dormir une seule fois pendant mon séjour. Si  [... lire plus]vous voulez un centre de villégiature économique, il vous conviendra parfaitement. Cependant, si vous voulez un hôtel plus calme et confortable avec une nourriture qui vous laissera sur votre faim, ce n'est pas ce qu'il vous faut. Je suppose qu'on en a pour son argent et cet endroit m'a confirmé que je ne séjournerai plus jamais ici ou dans un autre établissement 4 étoiles.

Subpar at Best I’ll just start by saying if you expect this to be even close to a 5 star resort you’ll be greatly disappointed. I knew it wouldn’t compare with the other resorts I’ve been to but did not expect the food to be so horrible. I work in Northern Alberta and stay in a camp where the food is better. The beds are terribly uncomfortable as well and didn’t get a full nights sleep once during my stay. If you want a budget friendly resort this will do you just fine. However if you want a quieter, comfortable resort with food that’ll leave you wanting more then this is not it. I guess you get what you pay for and this place has affirmed in me that I’ll never stay here or any other 4 star resort again.

Riu Bambu: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire, surtout pour le prix !

On peut y aller jeune, vieux ou entre les deux. Nous avons séjourné en tant que couple de 25~ ans et nous nous sommes éclatés dans les soirées Riu car nous aimons faire la fête. Vous pouvez aussi rester sur place et vous détendre, ils ont aussi beaucoup d'activités. la piscine, la plage, la nourriture, le personnel étaient tous formidables. Ne vous attendez pas à un service de qualité dans une chambre 5 étoiles, et vous passerez un excellent moment.

Amazing resort especially for the price! You could go here young, old, or inbetween. We stayed as a 25~ year old couple and had a blast at the Riu parties as we love to party. you can also stay on site and relax, they also have lots of activities. pool, beach, food, staff were all great. Do not expect 5 star room quality service, and you will have an amazing time.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Station balnéaire fatiguée

Il a fallu changer 4 fois de chambre avant d'en trouver une qui convienne. Les lits et la literie sont vieux et fatigués, les télévisions ne fonctionnent pas ou sont accrochées au mur. Le buffet était la meilleure nourriture proposée car les restaurants uniques manquaient de qualité pendant notre séjour. Les auvents déchirés au-dessus des chaises longues réduisaient les possibilités de se mettre à l'abri du soleil.

Tired Resort Took 4 room moves before we found one that would be suitable to stay in. Old tired beds and bedding along with TV’s not working or hanging off wall. Buffet was the best food offered as the unique restaurants were lacking in food quality during our stay. Torn canopies over loungers reduced opportunities to stay out of sun.

Riu Guanacaste: Grand centre de villégiature

Extrêmement propre. Le personnel nettoyait tout en permanence ! La nourriture était abondante et excellente. Certains plats étaient peut-être trop cuits, mais c'est mieux que de ne pas l'être assez. Le personnel était très aimable et efficace. J'aurais aimé que des boissons soient disponibles sur la plage, mais c'est le seul problème. Les représentants de Sunwing étaient également formidables - toujours disponibles. Beaucoup de marche. C'est un grand complexe.

Great Resort Extremely clean. Staff were cleaning everything all the time! Food was plentiful and great. Some items might have been overcooked but better than being undercooked. Staff very friendly and efficient. I would have liked to have had beverages available on the beach but that’s the only issue. Sunwing reps were terrific too-Always available. Lots of walking. It’s a large resort.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Très beau centre de villégiature

Le terrain, les restaurants, les piscines et le personnel étaient tous formidables. J'ai adoré les barmans du swim up bar et des piscines. Les animations étaient incroyables autour des piscines et la nuit. Magnifique pays, je recommanderais frank the tank services, excellent service

Very nice resort Grounds,restaurants, pools ,staff were all great. Love the bartenders at the swim up bar and pool areas. The entertainment was amazing around the pools and at night. Beautiful country would recommend frank the tank services great service

Riu Reggae: Une station extraordinaire !

C'était la première fois que nous allions en Jamaïque et ce complexe était propre et bien entretenu. Le personnel était courtois et la nourriture était fantastique. La plage est correcte. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un séjour fantastique et nous envisageons d'emmener nos enfants avec nous la prochaine fois

Amazing resort!! It was our first time in Jamaica and this resort was clean and well maintained. The staff were courteous and the food was fantastic. The beach is ok. Overall we had a fantastic stay and are looking to bring our kids with us next time

Riu Republica: Excellentes vacances

Le Republica a dépassé nos attentes. La nourriture était bonne, l'alcool était décent, si vous demandiez les meilleurs produits, ils vous les donnaient. Le personnel était très bon. L'hôtel est très propre, les chambres sont un peu vieillottes mais propres et confortables. Tout ce que vous avez demandé, ils l'ont fait. La plage était superbe et il n'y a jamais eu de problème pour obtenir des chaises. Endroit amusant aussi !

Great holiday The Republica exceeded our expectations. Food was good , alcohol was decent if you asked for the better stuff they gave it to you. The staff very good. Resort super clean the rooms a little dated but clean and comfortable. Anything you asked for they delivered. Beach was great and never an issue to get chairs. Fun place too!
