Riu Guanacaste: Très bon rapport qualité/prix !

J'ai adoré la quantité et la variété de nourriture ! Le centre de villégiature est superbe, avec une belle piscine ! J'ai particulièrement aimé les divertissements - la qualité des spectacles et des animateurs était excellente. Je le recommande à 100 % ! À noter que les chambres de base ne comprenaient ni shampoing ni lotion, ce qui n'était pas prévu...

Really Good Value! Loved the amount and variety of food! The resort is great, with a beautiful pool! I specially loved the entertainment - the quality of the performances and entertainers was top-notch. I would recommend 100%! Note the basic rooms did not include shampoo or lotion which was unexpected...

Hotel Villas Playa Samara: Gemmes du Costa Rica

Semaine formidable, pas de file d'attente, nourriture fantastique, animations nocturnes, super service de la part de la réception et des serveurs, on ne peut pas demander mieux. La chambre/maison de ville avec cuisine était propre, bien aménagée et tout fonctionnait en permanence. Elle avait une vue magnifique sur la plage et était entourée par la nature, avec beaucoup d'oiseaux, de reptiles et d'animaux communs au Costa Rica tout autour de nous. De nombreuses promenades sur la longue et m [... lire plus]agnifique plage, des couchers de soleil nocturnes, des visites quotidiennes aux chevaux et des baignades dans l'océan chaud nous ont permis de nous amuser. Nous avons exploré la ville, loué des quads pour explorer l'arrière-pays, marché jusqu'à la plage voisine, acheté des fruits frais aux vendeurs ambulants, fait une excursion de pêche, loué des kayaks pour explorer l'île locale par nous-mêmes et, bien sûr, passé du temps au bar de la piscine. L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème et les deux heures de route nous ont permis de découvrir la campagne à bord d'un bus très confortable. Merci à Playa Samara pour cette semaine formidable dans votre beau pays.

Costa Rica Gem Great week, no line ups, fantastic food, nightly entertainment, super service from the front desk people and the servers, who could ask for more. The room/townhouse complete with kitchen was clean well set up and everything worked all the time. It had a great view of the beach and was surrounded by nature, with many of the great birds, reptiles, and animals common to Costa Rica all around us. Many great walks on the long and amazing beach, c/w nightly sunsets and daily horse visits, and swimming in the warm ocean made for lots of fun. We explored town, rented quads for some back country exploring, walked to the neighbouring beach, bought fresh fruit from street venders, went on a fishing excursion, rented kayaks to explore the local island on our own, and of course spent some time at the pool bar. Check in and check was seamless and the 2 hr drive was a great opportunity to see more of the country side on a very comfortable bus. Thank you Playa Samara for a great week in your beautiful country.

Riu Guanacaste: Des vacances parfaites

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Costa Rica. Le Riu Guanacasta était un excellent complexe hôtelier avec des chambres spacieuses. On ne peut pas en dire assez sur le service car le personnel de l'hôtel était formidable. Nous y retournerons certainement et le recommandons vivement. Je tiens à remercier encore une fois Jessica de Trip Central. Ces vacances en famille ont été formidables.

Perfect Vacation We had an awesome time recently visiting Costa Rica. Riu Guanacasta was an excellent resort with spacious rooms. Can't say enough about the service as the hotel staff were great. Definitely would visit again and strongly recommend. I would like to thank Jessica again at trip central. This family vacation was terrific.

Riu Guanacaste: Riu Guanacaste

L'hôtel était agréable et disposait de très bons restaurants. La déception vient du fait qu'il n'y a qu'un seul bar pour tout le complexe. L'attente d'une boisson n'était donc pas satisfaisante. L'hôtel était propre. Les personnes travaillant au bar sont très évidentes lorsqu'elles parlent des gens de manière malveillante, pensant que les autres ne comprennent pas l'espagnol. La plage près du monkey bar n'a pas de rochers et est en fait agréable à nager contrairement à celle en face du Riu.

The hotel was nice and had very good restaurants. The disappointment is that there is only one swim up bar for the entire resort. This made waiting for drinks unsatisfying. The hotel was clean. The people working at the bar are very obvious when they are talking about people in a bad manner thinking that others don't understand Spanish. The beach down by the monkey bar has no rocks and is actually enjoyable to swim unlike the one in front of the Riu.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Hôtel exceptionnel

Magnifique jardin avec des fontaines d'eau. Les chambres sont très belles et propres et nous étions bien situés, près des commodités, avec un beau balcon donnant sur le jardin. La nourriture était incroyable, avec beaucoup de choix. La plage était belle avec du sable plus foncé mais ma préférence allait aux piscines avec tant d'activités et de jeux amusants. La chose la plus importante était le personnel charmant, ils étaient très amicaux et serviables, ils m'ont fait sentir comme à la maison, j [... lire plus]e pouvais sentir l'honnêteté dans leur service et cela m'a fait me sentir en sécurité.

Amazing hotel Beautiful grounds lovely garden with water fountains. Very nice and clean rooms and we had a good location close to amenities with beautiful balcony facing the garden. The food was amazing lots of selection. The beach was nice with darker sand however my preference was the pools with so many activities and fun games. The most important things was the lovely staff, they were very friendly and helpful, they make me feel like home I could feel the honesty in there service and that made me feel safe.

Hotel Villas Playa Samara: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Le personnel est formidable, les villas sont magnifiques, la nourriture est très bonne mais il n'y a pas une grande variété de plats. L'hôtel est calme, propose un divertissement par nuit et diverses excursions dans la journée. La plage est magnifique et le village de Samáira se trouve à quelques kilomètres de la plage pour ceux qui veulent explorer la région.

Amazing resort! The staff is great, villas are beautiful, food is very good but there's not a big variety of food. Quiet resort, offers one intertainer a night and a variety of excursions during the day. The beach is beautiful and the village of Samára is just a couple of kilometres down the beach for the people who want to explore the area.

Hotel Villas Playa Samara: Tout simplement génial !

C'est un hôtel agréable et très calme. Le personnel est très sympathique, la nourriture est bonne et fraîche, les villas, les chambres et la piscine sont belles et propres. On peut voir beaucoup d'animaux différents. La plage est magnifique. Ce n'est pas l'endroit où aller si vous recherchez la vie nocturne et les divertissements.

Simply great! This is a nice, very quiet hotel. The staff are really nice, the food is good and fresh, the villas, rooms and the pool are beautiful and clean. You get to see lots of different animals. Beach is wonderful. Not the place to go if you're looking for night life and entertainment though.

Hotel Villas Playa Samara: Ce centre de villégiature a été adoré !

Nous avons séjourné dans une villa d'une chambre récemment rénovée avec vue sur le jardin. Le complexe est petit et tout est facilement accessible à pied. Le buffet était excellent et il y a un restaurant à la carte. Certaines parties du complexe sont en construction près de l'entrée. La plage était agréable et peu fréquentée. Pas le sable blanc et les eaux claires des Caraïbes.

Loved this resort! We stayed in a 1 bedroom recently renovated villa with a Garden view. Resort is small and everything is within easy walking distance. Buffet was great with 1 a la carte restaurant. Parts of the resort are under construction near the entrance. Beach was nice and not crowded. Not the white sand and clear waters of the Caribbean.

Ce complexe tranquille était exactement ce que nous recherchions. Assez proche d'une ville locale pour se promener et explorer, assez petit pour ne pas être occupé tout le temps et de bonnes sélections de nourriture. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour, bien que certaines informations du site Internet soient très trompeuses (par exemple, il n'y a pas de hamacs, il n'est pas possible de louer du matériel aquatique sur place). Il est possible de réserver des excursions sur place. A part Javie [... lire plus]r, le personnel était médiocre et c'est surtout à vous d'aller chercher une autre boisson au bar si vous le souhaitez, au lieu qu'ils vous en apportent une. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un bon moment et l'hôtel est à la hauteur de ses trois étoiles

Great Time This quiet resort was just what we were looking for. Close enough to a local town to walk and explore, small enough to not be busy all of the time and good food selections. We enjoyed our time, though some of the website information is very misleading (ie they have no hammocks, you're not able to rent water equipment from the resort). You are able to book excursions right on site. Aside from Javier, the staff was mediocre and it's mostly on you to get another drink at the bar if you'd like it, instead of them bringing one too you. Overall we had a good time and it lives up the the three stars

Hotel Villas Playa Samara: ðŸ'

Mon mari et moi avons apprécié le site de l'hôtel. Cependant, ils sont en train de construire de nouvelles chambres et c'est assez désagréable d'être au milieu des rénovations. De plus, même si la plage est longue et belle, il y a des rochers juste devant la propriété de la plage et il est désagréable d'aller dans l'eau (qui est merky et a beaucoup d'algues sur le rivage). Je ne reviendrais pas au même endroit, mais je retournerais certainement au Costa Rica !

👍 My husband and I enjoyed the resort's grounds. However, they are in the process of building more rooms and it's quite unpleasant to be in the middle of renovations. Also, even though the beach is long and beautiful, there are rocks right in front of the beach property and it is unpleasant to go into the water (which is merky and has lots of seaweed at the shore). Wouldn't visit the same resort, but I would definitely go back to Costa Rica!

Hotel Villas Playa Samara: Joyau caché de Samara Beach

Nous venons de rentrer d'un séjour fabuleux à l'hôtel Villas Playa Samara. Lorsque nous sommes arrivés à l'aéroport, deux bus nous attendaient pour nous emmener à la ville de Samara. Le trajet en bus dure 2 heures, mais il s'agit d'un bus climatisé très confortable qui traverse des vallées et des petites villes avec de jolies vues. L'enregistrement à l'hôtel a été rapide et efficace. Maintenant, la nourriture, oh la nourriture est fantastique ! Ils ont tous les éléments de base couverts et tous  [... lire plus]les jours il y avait une STAR du spectacle. Tout est frais et local. Chaque jour, il y avait une boisson différente à base de fruits locaux, notamment de la mangue, de la papaye et de la pastèque. Tout le personnel travaille très dur pour rendre tout le monde heureux. Les Pina Coladas et les Ds à la fraise sont les meilleurs que j'aie jamais mangés dans un centre de villégiature, faits avec de vrais fruits ! Les desserts étaient appétissants. Nous avons été extrêmement satisfaits de la nourriture et du service. La petite casita que nous avons eue était une chambre à coucher avec deux lits pour mes enfants et une cuisine complète. C'était toujours propre et relaxant et les chambres où l'on dort avaient l'air conditionné pour un sommeil confortable. Elle faisait face à l'océan et possédait un petit porche où l'on pouvait s'asseoir et se détendre. Le soir, nous nous sommes endormis avec le bruit des vagues. C'est si proche ! La plage est très belle, mais vous avez besoin de chaussures d'eau. Si vous les oubliez, vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à la ville. Il n'y a pas de corail à la plage près de la ville ou vous pouvez toujours acheter des chaussures à la ville locale. Nous avons participé à deux excursions. Le snorkeling et le kayak qui étaient très bien et l'excursion avec les dauphins qui a volé la semaine ! Nous avons pu voir un groupe d'environ 30 dauphins. Ils étaient magnifiques et jouaient avec le bateau. Les jardins sont couverts de mangues et d'autres fruits que l'on peut cueillir. On peut aussi voir toutes sortes d'iguanes et, une fois, un singe sur l'un des arbres. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un très bon moment et nous le recommandons sans hésiter.

Hidden gem in Samara Beach Just came back from a fabulous stay at Hotel Villas Playa Samara. When we arrived at the airport there were 2 buses waiting for us to take us to the town of Samara. The bus ride is 2 hours but very comfortable air conditioned bus and you get to drive through valleys and little towns with pretty views. The hotel check-in was fast and efficient. Now the food, oh the food is fantastic!! they have all the basics covered and everyday there was a STAR of the show. Everything is fresh and local. Every day they had a different local fruit drink including mango, papaya, watermelon. All the staff work really hard to make everyone happy. The Pina Coladas and Strawberry Ds were the best I've had at a resort made with real fruit!! the beer was cold and refreshing. The desserts were mouth watering. We were extremely with happy food and service. The little casita we got was two bedroom with 2 beds for my kids and a full kitchen. It was always clean and relaxing with the rooms that you sleep had A/C for comfortable sleeping. It was facing the ocean and had a little porch where you could just sit and relax. At night we fell asleep with the sound of the waves. It is that close! The beach is very nice but you do need your water shoes. If you forget these you can walk towards the town. There is no coral at the beach near the town or you can always buy some shoes at the local town. We went on two tours. The snorkel and kayak which was very good and the dolphin tour that stole the week! we got to see a group of about 30 dolphins. They were beautiful and playful with the boat. The gardens are covered with mango and other fruit that you can pick. And you get to see all kinds of iguanas and once we had a monkey on one of the trees. Overall, we had a great time and would defenetly recommend it.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Grand séjour !

Mon mari et moi avons séjourné deux semaines au Rui Palace. Nous sommes restés deux semaines car nous étions conscients qu'il était loin de certaines des principales attractions. Ils ont cependant beaucoup de choses qui peuvent être faites autour de la station si vous ne restez pas aussi longtemps. Le temps était magnifique, la nourriture était bonne, les divertissements étaient bons, la chambre était confortable. 4 étoiles pour moi !

Great Stay!! My husband I and stayed for 2 weeks at the Rui Palace. We stayed two weeks as we were aware that it far from some of the major attractions. They do however have many things that can be done around the resort if you are not staying as long. The weather was amazing, food was good, entertainment was good, room was comfortable. 4 stars from me!!

The Westin Reserva Conchal Golf Resort & Spa: Nice Resort

Il nous a fallu quelques jours pour comprendre où nous nous trouvions et dans quelle direction aller à la plage ou à la piscine dans ce vaste endroit. La bonne nouvelle, c'est que l'on peut facilement se faire conduire à destination. Je ne dirais pas que l'endroit est parfait, mais les chambres étaient décentes, la nourriture très bonne et le personnel extrêmement amical. Le golf était bien aussi, même si beaucoup de pièges étaient en train d'être réorganisés et n'avaient pas de sable.

It took us a couple days to figure out where we are and what direction to walk the beach/pool in this big place. The good news is that rides to your destination were readily available. I would not say the place is perfect, but the rooms were decent food was very good and the staff extremely friendly. Golf was good as well albeit a lot of the traps were being revamped and void of sand.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Beautiful Resort

Le terrain de l'hôtel est magnifiquement entretenu. Plusieurs piscines bien entretenues sont disponibles. Il n'y a pas de toilettes autour de la piscine et de la plage. La nourriture dans la salle à manger principale et les restaurants était fantastique. Tout le personnel était très serviable et amical.

Hotel grounds are beautifully maintained. Several well kept pools available. No washroom facilities around the pool and beach area. The food at the main dining area and restaurants was fantastic. All staff were so helpful and friendly.

Très beau complexe. La nourriture était bonne. Le personnel est sympathique et serviable. Les chambres sont très belles. La plage ne m'a pas impressionné car c'est du sable foncé et de l'eau trouble. L'enregistrement a pris beaucoup de temps car les chambres ne sont pas prêtes avant 15 heures

Very nice resort Very nice resort. Food was good. Friendly staff and helpful too. Rooms are really nice. Was not impressed with the beach as it is dark sand and murky water. Took long to check in as rooms are not ready before 3:00 pm

Riu Guanacaste: Beautiful Resort

L'hôtel était magnifique et le parc était absolument splendide. Je me suis promenée le dernier jour et j'ai pris de nombreuses photos. J'adore prendre des photos et je les catalogue. Le personnel était très courtois et serviable. J'ai beaucoup apprécié les divertissements en soirée. Le représentant de Sunwing à l'hôtel, " Oryan ", était très compétent et serviable " j'espère que son nom est correctement orthographié ". Dans l'ensemble, notre famille a vraiment apprécié ses vacances.

The hotel was beautiful and the grounds were absolutely stunning. I walked around on our last day and took many pictures of the grounds. I love taking pictures and do catalogue them. The staff were very courteous and helpful. Really enjoyed the entertainment in the evening. Your representative at the hotel from Sunwing "Oryan", was very knowledgeable and helpful " hope this is the proper spelling of his name". Overall our family really enjoyed our vacation.

Superbe complexe 5 étoiles tout compris au Costa Rica. Rien à redire, extrêmement propre et sûr, la nourriture était bonne, le personnel était joyeux, il y a beaucoup de place et on ne se sent jamais à l'étroit. Le seul point négatif était le divertissement du soir qui était très amateur. Vous devez également savoir que le sable de la plage contient quelques pierres et qu'il est extrêmement chaud, ce n'est donc pas une plage où l'on peut s'allonger sur le sable pour prendre un bain de soleil. J' [... lire plus]y retournerais certainement, mais je ne volerais pas avec Sunwing. Évitez cette compagnie aérienne.

Amazing 5 star all-inclusive resort in Costa Rica. Nothing to complain about, extremely clean and safe, food was good, staff was cheerful, lots of room so you never feel crowded. The only negative was the evening entertainment which was very amateurish. You should also be aware that the beach sand has some stones and extremely hot thus not a beach where you would lay down on the sand to sunbathe. Would certainly would go back but would not fly with Sunwing. Stay away from this airline.

Fun time but not likely to return Grounds were Nicely maintained, plenty of seating for everyone, beach was as to be expected on that side of Costa Rica, staff are always happy and friendly, most rooms on the inner side have a partial ocean view, food was typical riu resort fashion

L'hôtel était super propre et bien entretenu ! Le personnel était très sympathique. Beaucoup d'amusement au bord de la piscine... le personnel d'animation était très doué pour faire participer les gens et inclure les enfants. La nourriture était bonne.... aurait aimé plus de snacks (biscuits, frites, glaces, etc.) disponibles à toute heure

Decent Resort! Hotel was super clean and well-maintained! Staff were really friendly. Lots of fun poolside... entertainment staff were really good at getting people involved and including kids. Food was okay.... would have liked more snacks (cookies, French fries, ice cream etc) available around the clock

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Un personnel sympathique !

Le Riu Palace est un établissement agréable, propre et doté d'un personnel sympathique. Les complexes Riu n'offrent pas la même qualité de boissons et de nourriture que d'autres complexes pour le même prix. Les piscines sont agréables et toujours propres. Le déjeuner servi au bord de la piscine était le même chaque jour avec un substitut de viande.

Friendly Staff! The Riu Palace is a nice clean resort with friendly staff. The Riu resorts don't offer the same quality of beverage and food variety that other resorts do for the same dollar value. The pools were nice and always clean. The lunch provided by the pool side was the same each day with a meat substitute.
