Hotel Playa Coco: Centre de villégiature décent

Il s'agissait d'une escapade rapide pour deux amies qui avaient besoin d'une pause loin de leur mari et de leurs enfants ;). Nous avons obtenu la semaine pour moins de 750 $, alors gardez cela à l'esprit. Si vous cherchez une station 5* avec beaucoup d'équipements et de la nourriture gastronomique, regardez ailleurs. En revanche, si vous recherchez un petit complexe avec une plage EXTRAORDINAIRE, des boissons fraîches, une nourriture décente (la meilleure que nous ayons eue à Cuba) et un accè [... lire plus]s facile aux piscines, aux restaurants, etc. Il est très calme et c'est un bon endroit pour se détendre et se relaxer. Les Cubains sont ce qui fait la force de ce complexe, des dames travaillant dans le hall aux barmans (Julio), en passant par les jardiniers (Luis) et (Jorge) qui s'occupait de nous au buffet. Nous avons eu un problème avec la porte de notre patio (chambre du rez-de-chaussée) et le service d'entretien est venu tout de suite et l'a réparée. Ma seule plainte serait que le bar de la piscine n'a jamais eu de barman pour s'en occuper. Ce n'est pas grave, mais cela aurait pu ajouter un peu à l'atmosphère.

Decent Resort This was a quick get away for 2 friends who needed a break from husbands and kids ;). We got the week away for under $750 - so bear that in mind. If you're looking for a 5* resort with lots of amenities and gourmet food - look elsewhere. But! If you're looking for a small resort with an AMAZING beach, cold drinks, decent food (the best we've had in Cuba) and with easy access to pools, restaurants, etc. then this is the resort for you. It is very quiet and a good place to relax and unwind. The Cuban people are what make this resort from the ladies working in the lobby, to the bartenders (Julio), to the gardeners (Luis) to (Jorge) who looked after us at the buffet. We had an issue with our patio door (ground floor room) and maintenance came right away and fixed it. My only complaint would be that the swim up bar never had a bartender tending to it. Not a big deal but may have added a little to the atmosphere.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Très belle station

Dans l'ensemble, j'ai été assez impressionné par le centre de villégiature. Le terrain est bien entretenu, le personnel est très sympathique. Cependant, le buffet était un peu vide, restez dans les restaurants à la carte si vous pouvez les réserver, les files d'attente étaient toujours très longues.

Very Beautiful Resort Overall pretty impressed with the resort. The grounds where maintained well, staff was very friendly. However the buffet was somewhat bare, stick to the a la carte restaurants if you can book them the line up was always super long.

Aston Costa Verde Beach Resort: Un lieu de villégiature idéal pour les familles

C'est la deuxième fois que nous y séjournons, le terrain est agréable, le personnel est formidable. Les restaurants sont bons et propres. A recommander sans hésitation. La plage est l'une des plus belles plages que j'ai connues à Cuba, la plage de Pasquera, le sable est magnifique, on peut y faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba au large de la plage. Il faut des chaussures de plongée à certains endroits à cause du corail. Superbes activités nautiques, paddle boat, catamarans, kayak.

Great family friendly resort This is our 2nd time there, the grounds are nice, staff is great. The restaurants were good and clean. Would definitely recommend. The beach is one if the nicest beaches I've been to in Cuba, Pasquera beach, sand is amazing, snorkeling right off the beach. Do need water shoes in some areas because of the coral. Great water activities, paddle boat, catamarans, kayaking.

Club Amigo Ancon: Centre de villégiature Ok

J'ai été à cuba plus de 40xâ™s et cet hôtel est un hôtel cubain moyen délabré. Les chambres étaient propres, c'est tout ce qui m'importe. La plage est incroyable, la nourriture est une autre histoire lol mais c'est Cuba, ils essaient avec ce qu'ils ont. Le problème que j'ai est avec certains membres du personnel, ils vous regardent et passent à côté en riant et en parlant avec d'autres membres du personnel.....J'ai attendu au snack bar un jour pendant 20 minutes et je suis parti. Le snack bar ou [... lire plus]vert 24 heures sur 24 n'a jamais eu ce qu'il avait annoncé, mais là encore, c'est Cuba. Est-ce que je retournerais à l'hôtel ? Oui si j'ai eu une affaire vraiment très bon marché et j'irais juste plus préparé avec des collations de sorte que je n'aurais pas à rester debout pour rien. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai passé un excellent moment et le temps était superbe !

Ok resort I’ve been to cuba over 40x’s and this hotel is an average run down Cuban hotel. The rooms were clean that’s all I really care about. The beach is amazing, the food is a different story lol but that’s Cuba, they try with what they have. The problem I have is with some of the staff, the look right at you and walk right on by and laugh and talk with other staff.....I stood at the snack bar one day for 20 min and then just walked away. The 24hr snack bar never had what they said they would but again that’s Cuba. Would I return to the hotel? Yes If I got a really really cheap deal and I would just go more prepared with snacks so I wouldn’t have to stand around for nothing. In all I had an awesome time and the weather was great!

Sol Palmeras: Sol Palmeras Cuba

Le terrain, la plage, la piscine et les chambres sont tous très bien. Le préposé aux chambres (homme) a fait un très bon travail. La femme qui s'occupait des réservations pour les restaurants de spécialités était inutile, elle n'arrêtait pas de nous dire que les restaurants étaient pleins mais lorsque nous sommes allés à l'International, il n'y avait que 4 tables utilisées. Nous n'avons pas pu obtenir de table à l'Italian, alors un soir j'ai parlé au maître d'hôtel et il nous a donné une table.  [... lire plus]Nous y avons fait le meilleur repas. Nous avons essayé d'obtenir une réservation pour le mardi soir avant notre départ et la femme nous a dit que c'était fermé. Nous étions assis dans le hall en train de boire un verre et le restaurant était ouvert et les gens entraient. Les boissons étaient différentes à chaque fois que l'on en prenait une (différents mélanges) et elles n'étaient pas à la hauteur.

Grounds,beach,pool area and rooms all very good. Room attendant (male) did a very good job. The woman booking specialty restaurants was useless, she kept telling us the restaurants were full but when we went to the international there were only 4 tables being used. We could not get a table at the Italian, so one night I talked to the maitre d and he gave us a table. We had the best meal there. We tried to get a booking for the Tuesday night before we left and the woman said it was closed. We were sitting in the lobby having a drink and the restaurant was open and people were going in. The drinks were different every time you got one (different mixers) they were not up to par.

The best! The resort was clean rooms were comfortable the food was plentiful and tasty. But the real hidden gem is the staff. They go over and above to make your stay the best! Gran Muthu Cayo Santa Maria: Superbe

Notre hôtel a besoin d'un peu de TLC... mais cela se fera avec la nouvelle direction. C'est la quatrième fois que j'y vais et les Cubains sont extraordinaires dans ce centre de villégiature ! !!! La nourriture était bonne ! Nous y retournerons certainement l'année prochaine ! !!!!!!

Great Our hotel need some TLC...but this will happen with new management. This is my 4th time there and the Cuban people are amazing at this resort!!!! The food was good! We will definitely go back next year !!!!!!!

Sanctuary at Grand Memories Santa Maria: Belle plage

L'hôtel dans son ensemble est très agréable mais le Sanctuaire a besoin d'être rafraîchi. Les patios extérieurs de la salle à manger sont bloqués et le mobilier extérieur doit être remplacé. Les portes des chambres ont de grands espaces, bruyantes la nuit, les serrures ne fonctionnent pas correctement, le téléphone n'a jamais fonctionné. Ce n'est pas la faute des personnes qui y travaillent et qui font de leur mieux, mais les propriétaires devraient faire quelque chose.

Beautiful Beach Resort as a whole very nice but Sanctuary in need of sprucing up. Dining area outdoor patios blocked off and outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Room doors have large gaps, noisy at night, locks don’t work properly, phone never worked. No fault of the people who work there who are trying their best but the owners should do something.

Gran Muthu Imperial: Magnifique centre de villégiature !

Je suis allée à Cuba de nombreuses fois et je sais à quoi m'attendre, mais ce centre de villégiature m'a vraiment surprise. J'ai été impressionnée dès que j'ai pénétré dans le hall, c'était à couper le souffle. L'ambiance est très haut de gamme, décontractée et super confortable avec d'énormes chaises longues réparties dans le hall avec une vue pittoresque sur l'océan. Ce sera mon lieu de prédilection pour la semaine à venir. Mi-janvier, ciel légèrement couvert mais surtout ensoleillé, les eaux  [... lire plus]étaient trop agitées pour y entrer et plutôt froides, mais la plage restait charmante et les piscines faisaient l'affaire. Il y avait beaucoup de vent, tous les jours, toute la journée, mais cela a permis d'éloigner les insectes, ce qui m'a fait plaisir. Le complexe n'était pas plein, mais le complexe voisin l'était, donc si vous aviez besoin de plus d'action, c'était à 2 minutes à pied. Nous étions situés dans le bâtiment 9, au rez-de-chaussée avec une sortie donnant sur l'océan, juste à côté de la piscine à débordement et du snack-bar 24, c'était parfait. Les chambres étaient très propres, lumineuses et aérées. J'ai emporté une bougie avec un léger parfum de plage qui a fait un travail fantastique en donnant un peu de fraîcheur à la chambre (je le recommande vivement). (Je le recommande vivement) Nous avions un grand lit qui était assez confortable. Il y a un buffet principal qui est simple mais qui fait l'affaire, j'ai pu avoir de bons repas à chaque fois. Certains jours, j'ai été très impressionné par le choix des aliments : fruits de mer frais, délicieux porc mijoté et poulet pollo très savoureux. J'ai été ravie de trouver du fromage manchego, du prosciutto au beurre et des pains frais. Un soir, il y avait même une meule de fromage Parm Reggiano ! Il y a également 3 restaurants à la carte qui proposent les mêmes plats en plus petites portions, mais dans une atmosphère plus formelle, ce qui en vaut la peine pour un cadre romantique plus intime. Je recommande aussi vivement de profiter des spécialités de café dans le hall principal, j'ai bu au moins 3 cappuccinos par jour ! (j'ai évité le café normal dans la salle du buffet). Le personnel était amical et serviable, la foule était un bon mélange d'âges et assez classe, pas de whinos ivres trébuchant (nous avons remarqué cela dans d'autres centres de villégiature), en bref, nous avons adoré cet endroit et nous recommandons vivement ce centre de villégiature pour adultes. J'ai également entendu dire que les gens aimaient le centre familial jumeau. Lorsque j'ai réservé mes vacances, j'ai hésité entre le Gran Mathu et le Pullman (je suis allée au Pullman pour la journée afin de comparer) et j'ai été tellement contente d'avoir choisi le Gran Mathu Imperial. Le seul point négatif est que la plage de l'hôtel est assez petite mais satisfaisante et qu'il y a un accès à la plage de l'hôtel voisin. Le complexe propose également des excursions d'une journée à la plage de Pillar, ce qui est fortement recommandé - prenez le forfait déjeuner de homard et de crevettes ** Je reviendrai certainement dans ce complexe !

Beautiful Resort! I have been to Cuba many times and know what to expect but this resort really surprised me. I was impressed from the moment I walked through the lobby, it was breathtaking. The vibe is very high end, breezy casual and super cozy with massive lounge chairs spread out the lobby with a clear picturesque view of the ocean. This would be my favourite spot for the next week to come. Mid- January, mild overcast but mostly sunny, the waters were too rough to get in and pretty chilly but the beach was still lovely and the pools did the job. There was a lot of wind, windy every day all day but it kept the bugs away so I was happy about that. The resort was not at capacity but the sister resort next door was so if you needed more action it was a 2 min. walk away. We were situated in building 9, ground floor with a walk out looking at the ocean, right next to the infinity pool and 24 snack bar, It was perfect. The rooms were very clean, bright and airy. I packed a candle with a light beach scent which did a fantastic job giving the room a little freshness. (I highly recommend this) we had a king bed which was comfy enough. There is 1 main buffet which is simple but does the job, I was able to have great meals every time. There were days I was quite impressed with the food selection, fresh seafood, delicious simmered pork and very flavourful chicken pollo. I was pleased to find manchego cheese, buttery prosciutto and fresh breads, 1 night there was even a Parm Reggiano cheese wheel! there are also 3 ala carte restaurants which have the same food portioned smaller but a more formal atmosphere so worth it to have a more intimate romantic setting. I would also highly recommend enjoying the coffee specials in the main lobby, I had at least 3 cappuccinos daily! (stayed away from regular coffee in the buffet hall). The staff was friendly and helpful, the crowd was a good mix of ages and pretty classy, no drunken whinos stumbling around (we did notice this at other resorts) basically, we loved this place and would highly recommend this adult resort. I also heard people loved the sister family resort. When I was booking my vacation I was debating with between Gran Mathu or the Pullman (went to the Pullman for the day to compare) and was sooooo happy I choose the Gran Mathu Imperial. The only thing that I would say was a minus is the resort beach is quite small but satisfactory and there is access to the sister resort beach. The resort also offers day trips to Pillar beach which is highly recommended- get the lobster and shrimp lunch package ** definitely coming back to this resort !

Paradisus Varadero: Belle station balnéaire

Le resort est très bien mais la nourriture n'est pas terrible, surtout les restaurants alacarte... la moitié du temps ils n'avaient pas les plats mentionnés dans le menu... le service est excellent, les gens sont vraiment gentils et serviables... j'ai adoré leur équipe de divertissement... ils nous ont tenus occupés toute la journée y compris le soir... j'ai vraiment aimé le club pour enfants aussi... le personnel est vraiment gentil....

Beautiful resort The resort is very good but the food is not great especially the alacarte restaurants..half of the time they did not have the dishes mentioned in the menu .. the service is great , people are really nice and helpful.. loved their entertainment team.. kept us busy the whole day including evening.. really liked the kids club as well.. the staff is really nice ..

Hotel Roc Casa del Mar: Un moment exceptionnel

J'ai passé un excellent moment, très relaxant, et la nourriture était correcte, pas la meilleure, mais c'était quand même un bon moment. Les gens étaient très gentils et la plage était très belle. Nous sommes restés une semaine et les spectacles étaient super incroyables et c'était très agréable d'être au soleil, c'était incroyable

Very amazing time Had a great time very relaxing and also the food was ok not the best but it was still a nice time around the people where very nice and the beach was very beautiful we have stay for a week and the shows were super amazing and it was very nice to be in the sun it was amazing

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Belle plage, nourriture épouvantable !

J'ai passé 5 nuits au Laguna Azul. Le personnel était extrêmement sympathique, l'air conditionné était glacial et la plage était magnifique. Par contre, la nourriture était presque immangeable. Mais il paraît que c'est normal à Cuba...

Beautiful beach, terrible food! I spent 5 nights at Laguna Azul. The staff were extremely friendly, the a/c was icy cold, and the beach was beautiful. The food however was nearly inedible. But I hear par for the course for Cuba...

Sol Cayo Coco: Un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais peu convaincant

Le personnel est charmant, les chambres sont moyennes et disposent d'un réfrigérateur, ce qui est appréciable, mais le lit est un peu inconfortable. La nourriture est très insuffisante, répétitive et décevante MAIS pas dégoûtante et je n'ai jamais été malade. La piscine est bien et la plage est agréable. Les excursions d'un jour sont nulles. Pour un bon rapport qualité-prix, c'est une bonne station.

Good value, but underwhelming Lovely staff, rooms are average and have a fridge which is nice but bed is a little uncomfortable. Food is severely lacking and repetitive and disappointing BUT not gross and I never got sick. Pool is good and beach is nice. Day trips are meh. For value, it’s a good resort.

Sol Cayo Coco: Dans l'ensemble, de bonnes vacances, mais un manque de formation dans la cuisine

Plage magnifique, piscine très bien pour différents âges Site de l'hôtel magnifique, bonne attitude de toutes les catégories de personnel, chambres propres et confortables, salle à manger bien décorée, mobilier agréable Qualité de la nourriture ok mais les chefs manquent de compétences culinaires et ont besoin d'être améliorés. Le vol d'Air Transat devait partir à 15h50 et arriver à Montréal à 19h30. Aucun conseil de qui que ce soit sur la cause du retard, pas d'agent à l'hôtel de la part de  [... lire plus]Hola. Notre vol a décollé à 23 heures et est arrivé à 3 heures du matin. les douanes et les bagages ont pris près d'une heure pour être reçus ! Nous avons reçu nos cartes d'embarquement par courrier électronique mais aucune information de qui que ce soit sauf un avis affiché par l'hôtel ! Traitement incroyable probablement parce que les passagers n'avaient pas d'autres choix et avaient déjà payé. Traitement inacceptable !

Overall a good vacation but training lacking in kitchen Wonderful Beach, Pool very good for different ages Site of hotel wonderful, Good attitudes from all categories of personnel, Rooms clean -comfortable, Dining Room well-decorated pleasant furnishing Quality of food ok but chefs lack cooking skills & require improvement. Air transat flight was supposed to leave at 3:50 pm and arrive Montreal 7:30 pm. No advice from anyone as to cause of delay no agent at hotel from Hola. Our flight left at 11 pm with arrival at 3 am .Customs &Baggage took almost one hour to receive ! Quite a day We received boarding passes by e mail but no information from anyone except a notice posted by hotel ! incredible treatment probably because passengers had no alternatives & had already paid. Not acceptable treatment !

magnifique terrain... de superbes jardins partout ! beaucoup de bons choix de nourriture, de belles plages. tout le personnel était constamment joyeux, efficace et désireux de rendre service, en particulier notre majordome, isabel. j'y retournerais volontiers. la seule plainte que j'ai à formuler concerne la communication... lorsque j'ai appelé plusieurs fois à l'avance pour poser une question, on ne m'a jamais répondu au téléphone. de même, lorsque j'ai envoyé un courriel à la personne de conta [... lire plus]ct indiquée sur leur site web, il n'y a pas eu de réponse. il serait bon que du pain sans gluten soit disponible, car beaucoup de gens ont une allergie/intolérance au gluten.

great location beautiful grounds... terrific gardens everywhere! lots of good food choices, beautiful beaches. all staff was consistently cheerful, efficient, and anxious to be of service, especially our butler, isabel. i would gladly return there. the only complaint i have is communication ... when i called several times ahead of time with a question, the phone was never answered. also when i sent an email to the contact person shown on their website, there was no response. it would be good if some gluten-free bread was available, as lots of people have a gluten allergy/intolerance.

Melia Jardines del Rey: La villégiature a baissé

La nourriture était HORRIBLE dans ce complexe, bien pire que lorsque j'y suis allé il y a deux ans. La douche n'a pas fonctionné pendant trois jours, les toilettes dans la chambre ont pris 24 heures avant d'être réparées. Les piscines étaient agréables, mais pourraient être nettoyées plus fréquemment. Couldn’t obtenir quoi que ce soit sauf pop, vin, bière ou eau dans les restaurants. Les restaurants à la carte n'avaient pas tout ce qu'il y avait sur le menu, à chaque fois que j'y suis allé. Le [... lire plus]s maîtres-nageurs buvaient de l'alcool et fumaient pendant leur service. J'ai dû déplacer et enlever des chaises des piles tout seul à la piscine. L'hôtesse de l'air de Sunwing a crié dans l'avion à moi et à d'autres passagers. Elle m'a menacé et a rabaissé les passagers. Nos droits humains ont été violés.

Resort has gone down The food was HORRIBLE at this resort, much worse than when I went two years ago. Shower was not working for three days, toilet in room took 24 hours until fixed. Pools were nice, but could use to be cleaned more frequently. Couldn’t get anything put pop, wine, beer or water in restaurants. Al le carte restaurants didn’t have everything on the menu available, every one I attended. Lifeguards were drinking booze and smoking while on duty. Had to move and get chairs off stacks by myself at the pool. Sunwing stewardess screamed on the plane to me and fellow passengers. Threatened me and belittled passengers. Our human rights were violated.

L'hôtel dans son ensemble était plus que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Les piscines et la plage sont agréables. Les boissons étaient toutes bonnes. C'est Cuba, la nourriture était correcte, il y avait toujours quelque chose à manger. Les restaurants al cart étaient très bons. Les chambres étaient propres et confortables. On ne peut pas vraiment dire du mal de ce complexe. Nous sommes allés à Cuba plusieurs fois et nous n'hésiterions pas à retourner dans ce complexe.

Good resort The hotel over all was more than I expected. Pools and beach area nice. Drinks were all good. This is Cuba, the food was ok always something to eat. The al cart restaurants were very good. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Can't really say anything bad about this resort. We have been to cuba several times and would not hesitate to go back to this resort.

Villa Bacuranao: Excellente expérience !

J'ai séjourné à la Villa Bacuranao et je la recommanderais à tous ceux qui recherchent une expérience en dehors de la station balnéaire. Bien que l'hôtel soit modeste et n'offre que l'essentiel, son principal avantage est la proximité de La Havane (15,8 km de l'hôtel à El Capitolio selon Google maps). J'ai pris un bus local pour environ 10 cents par trajet, mais il y a une navette toutes les 30 minutes pour 5$ et votre billet est valable pour toute la journée. L'ambiance à l'hôtel est géniale, l [... lire plus]es locaux et les touristes apprécient la piscine et le bar, il y a de la bonne musique et il est facile de se faire des amis. REMARQUE : si vous recherchez le confort, cet endroit risque d'être un peu difficile pour vous. La nourriture n'est pas excellente, les lits ne sont pas des plus confortables et il arrive qu'il n'y ait pas d'eau chaude, lol. Tout cela ne m'a pas dérangé. Il y a de la bonne nourriture à proximité pour pas cher, il y a aussi une épicerie où vous pouvez vous approvisionner en produits de base comme de l'eau, de l'alcool, de la nourriture sèche, quelques produits cosmétiques, etc. Quoi qu'il en soit, j'ai tellement apprécié que je prévois d'y retourner très bientôt. A la vôtre !

Great Experience! I was at the Villa Bacuranao and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a off-resort experience. While the hotel is modest and offers only the basics, it's main advantage is proximity to Havana (15.8 km from hotel to El Capitolio according to Google maps). I rode on a local bus for something like 10 cents per ride, but there is a shuttle every 30 min for 5$ and your ticket is good for the whole day. The ambiance at the hotel is great, the locals and tourists alike enjoy the swimming pool and bar, there is great music and it is easy to make friends. NOTE: if you're looking for comfort, this place may be a bit of a challenge for you. Food is not greatest, beds are not the most comfortable, on occasion there is no hot water, lol. I didn't mind any of that. There is great food to be found nearby for cheap, there is also a convenience store where you can stock up on some basic stuff like water, alcohol, dry food, some cosmetic products etc. Anyway, I enjoyed it so much I am planing to go back very soon. Melia Marina Varadero: La station a connu des temps meilleurs
