Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana: Superbe complexe hôtelier !

Mon mari et moi-même, tous deux seniors, avons récemment passé deux semaines ici. Nous avons réservé via Trip Central, Forest, Ontario, auprès de l'agent Karen G. Notre chambre d'angle au troisième étage disposait de deux balcons avec vue sur l'océan et la piscine. Notre majordome Laura était exceptionnelle : serviable et rapide à répondre à nos demandes. Great resort! Hubby and myself: both Seniors, recently spent 2 wks here. We booked thru Trip Central, Forest. Ont,; agent Karen G. Our third floor corner room had 2 balconies with ocean view and pool views. Our butler Laura was exceptional : helpful and prompt with our requests. All staff: friendly and hardworking. We enjoyed the following restaurants there: Dorado, Zen, Jade, Hunter Steakhouse and Grazie Italian Weather was stellar! Thanks Karen for arranging this marvellous trip!

C'est la seule chose que j'ai à dire qui m'a déçu. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans cet hôtel. De plus, après avoir rencontré de nombreuses autres personnes qui en étaient à leur 3e, 4e ou 14e séjour dans cet hôtel, je me suis rendu compte que nous n'étions pas les seuls à penser que le Majestic Colonial Resort est l'endroit idéal pour passer ses vacances.

Wonderful Experience The staff were very friendly always smiling or singing. The food was amazing always fresh, flavourful, with a variety of choices for everyone’s palate. The grounds were very well maintained. The pools were never overcrowded. The beach was beautiful the sand was clean there was some seaweed but not enough that you couldn’t enjoy the beach. The daily activities were very enjoyable and the entertainment staff do an amazing job to get everyone to participate. The nightly entertainment shows were awesome. The only complaint we have was not getting the proper room when we arrived and after being told it would be corrected but never was. That is the only thing I have to say was disappointing. I would definitely return to this resort without hesitation. Also after meeting many other people who were on their 3rd or 4th or 14th time returning to this resort tells me that we are not the only ones who have the same opinion that The Majestic Colonial Resort is the place to be for your vacation.

Secrets La Romana: Un complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

Ce complexe hôtelier était fantastique ! Le personnel était très sympathique et serviable. Nous nous sommes sentis privilégiés dès notre arrivée et jusqu'à notre départ. Notre chambre était magnifique. Nous avions un patio privé et une piscine avec accès direct. La nourriture était excellente. Nous sommes allés deux fois au restaurant japonais pour déguster le dîner hibachi, qui était délicieux. Le buffet offrait un large choix, notamment du poisson frais et des salades. Nous avions réservé dans [... lire plus] le Preferred Club, qui donnait accès à un charmant espace snack. Il y avait également un café proposant des cappuccinos, des expressos, des desserts frais et des pâtisseries. Le seul point négatif que je peux mentionner est la plage du Preferred Club, qui était trop petite pour le nombre de chaises longues et de personnes, ce qui la rendait très bondée. La piscine était très agréable et moins fréquentée, nous avions donc tendance à y passer plus de temps.

Amazing Resort This resort was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and helpful. You were made to feel special from the moment we arrived until we departed. Our room was beautiful. We had a private patio and swim up pool. The food was amazing. We visited the Japanese restaurant twice for the hibachi dinner which was excellent. The buffet had lots of variety along with fresh fish and salads. We were booked in the Preferred Club which gave you access to a lovely snack area. There also was a cafe offering cappuccinos, espresso and fresh desserts and pastries. The only negative I can mention is the Preferred Club beach which was too small for the amount of lounge chairs and people, making it very crowded. The pool area was very nice and less people so we tended to hang there instead.

Bahia Principe Explore Punta Cana: Superbe complexe hôtelier

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans ce complexe hôtelier. C'est magnifique. Lors de notre enregistrement, on nous a dit que nous avions une chambre au rez-de-chaussée. Mais une fois arrivés, nous avons découvert qu'elle se trouvait au 3e étage. J'étais trop fatigué et j'avais trop chaud pour me plaindre. Nous sommes donc restés. La chambre n'avait pas été rénovée et il y avait une fuite au plafond dans le couloir. Elle a été réparée, mais a recommencé à fuir la nuit suivante. Tant que toutes l [... lire plus]es chambres n'auront pas été rénovées, je demanderais une chambre de catégorie supérieure. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un très bel hôtel.

Great resort We enjoyed our stay at the resort. It’s beautiful. When we checked in we were told we had a ground floor room. When we got there it was on the 3rd floor. I was to tired and hot to complain. So we stayed. It was not a renovated room and we had a leak from the ceiling in the hall, it got fixed and leaked again the next night. Until all the rooms get renovated I would ask for an upgraded room. Overall, it is a very nice resort.

Royalton CHIC Punta Cana: Superbes vacances

Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse au Royalton Chic, à Punta Cana. Ce charmant complexe hôtelier dispose d'un parc bien entretenu, de chambres modernes et propres avec un lit confortable et une douche incroyable, ainsi que d'un personnel très sympathique. La nourriture était excellente, avec une grande variété et des saveurs variées au buffet et dans les restaurants spécialisés. Nous nous sommes rendus tous les jours au café, qui proposait une grande variété de muffins, de fruits, de sandwic [... lire plus]hs et de glaces, ainsi que du café délicieux, le tout servi par une jeune femme très sympathique et dynamique. La grande piscine était rafraîchissante et l'équipe Vibe encourageait la participation à de nombreuses activités ludiques. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'Aqua Fit et l'Aqua Cycling. Les spectacles nocturnes étaient divertissants. Notre seule recommandation serait d'afficher les activités quotidiennes et les horaires dans un endroit central afin que les clients puissent les consulter.

Great Vacation Spent a fabulous week at the Royalton Chic, Punta Cana. Lovely resort with well kept grounds, modern clean rooms with a comfortable bed and amazing shower, and very friendly staff. The food was top notch, with abundant variety and flavour included at the buffet and and specialty restaurants. The coffee shop became a daily stop for us offering a variety of muffins, fruits, sandwiches and ice cream as well as tasty coffee all served by a very friendly and lively young lady. The large pool was refreshing and the Vibe team encouraged participation in many fun activities. We especially enjoyed the Aqua Fit and Aqua Cycling. The nightly shows were entertaining. Our only recommendation would be to post the daily activities and times in a central location for guests to see.

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Casa Marina est fantastique

Nous avons été très impressionnés par la réception. Le personnel est très compétent et serviable. Nous avons payé un supplément pour avoir une chambre avec vue sur le jardin, mais je ne pense pas que cela en valait la peine. La chambre était bien rangée, mais pas propre. Il y avait de la moisissure sur la paroi de la douche... ils l'ont nettoyée avec du Javex. La porte du placard est sortie de ses gonds, la télévision fonctionnait par intermittence et le téléphone n'a jamais fonctionné. Les lits [... lire plus] étaient confortables et propres. Mais nous apprécions tout de même cet endroit très pratique pour se rendre au centre-ville, avec ses bars sympas et ses zones ombragées. Les piscines sont très agréables.

Casa Marina is fantastic We were very impressed by the reception area. The staff are very informative and helpful. We did pay extra for the garden view room and I don't think it was worth it. The room was tidy but not clean. There was mold on the shower screen...they did javex it to remove. The closet door fell off it's track, the TV was tempremental and the phone did not ever work. The beds were comfortable and clean. But still we like this place so handy to downtown, lovely bars and shade areas. The pools are very nice.

El Beso Adults Only at Ocean El Faro: Une semaine en janvier 2026 à El Beso

A week in January 2026 at El Beso The El Beso Ocean Faro is a 3 star hotel overall: Rooms: 1 Star (non-working tv and phone; sliding patio doors that don't slide very well; busted dresser drawers; shower doors that don't close; musty and damp rooms... and on and on Restaurants: Buffet: 5 Star A la Carte Restaurants: 3.5 Star (Route 66 is a 5 star) Pool side Eateries: 3 Star Fitness Facility: 3.5 Star Pools & Outdoor Areas: 3 Star Beach: 0 Stars We have travelled extensively in the Caribbean, and especially the DR, and I must say that this hotel was the least favourite by far.

Après avoir lu les commentaires sur Trip Advisor, je me suis demandé si je n'avais pas fait le mauvais choix d'hôtel. Je suis tellement content que nous n'ayons pas écouté ces commentaires et changé d'hôtel. La chambre Deluxe avec vue sur la piscine était toujours propre et le réfrigérateur était réapprovisionné tous les jours, sinon il suffisait de le demander. Les 7 ou 8 piscines n'étaient pas parfaitement propres, mais quel hôtel l'est vraiment ? La plage était magnifique et grande, avec des [... lire plus] sargasses, mais ce n'est pas la faute de l'hôtel, car quelqu'un était toujours en train de nettoyer. Le buffet offrait toujours un large choix, donc on n'avait jamais faim. Je suis allé deux fois au restaurant Tierra Amazonian, que j'ai adoré, deux fois au Bluewater Grill, que j'ai adoré, et une fois au restaurant mexicain. Le seul inconvénient, c'est les files d'attente, mais vous êtes en vacances, alors souriez et prenez votre mal en patience. Tous les serveurs étaient souriants et faisaient un excellent travail, mais l'hôtel pourrait faire beaucoup mieux dans tous les domaines. Il faut beaucoup marcher dans l'hôtel, donc si vous avez des problèmes, il n'y a pas de voiturettes de golf. Il faudrait absolument plus de poubelles et peut-être quelqu'un qui se promène pour nettoyer derrière les clients ingrats qui sont trop paresseux pour ramasser leurs déchets. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Great resort First off reading reviews on trip advisor I was wondering if I made the wrong choice of resort. I was so happy we didn't listen and change resorts. The deluxe pool view room was always clean and fridge restocked daily if not you just have to ask. Pools 7 or 8 in total werent perfectly cleaned but what resorts are. Beach was lovely and large ,sargassum but not resorts fault someone always cleaning. Buffet always had plenty of choices so you never went hungry. Went to Tierra Amazonian restaurant 2X loved it Bluewater Grill 2X loved it Mexican X1 Downside lineups for all , your on vacation grin and bere it All servers were happy and did a great job but the resort could use alot more in all areas. The resort is alot of walking if you have problems no golf carts . They absolutely need more garbage cans and maybe someone walking around cleaning up after ungrateful guests who are too lazy to pick up after themselves We would definitely come back

Viva V Samana by Wyndham: Jugez par vous-même

Nous avons failli annuler notre séjour à cause des commentaires. Nous y étions du 24 au 31 janvier 2026. La seule et unique critique que nous avons à formuler concerne la nourriture, qui n'était jamais assez chaude. Peu importe le restaurant où vous alliez, la nourriture était froide. Quant aux personnes qui disent avoir été malades, vous êtes dans un autre pays où l'on mange et boit différemment, donc oui, vous pouvez avoir des problèmes digestifs. Nous avons tous mangé la nourriture et personn [... lire plus]e n'a été malade. Prenez ce que vous lisez avec des pincettes. Après avoir séjourné là-bas, nous sommes heureux de ne pas avoir annulé. Nous y retournerons.

Judge for yourself We almost cancelled based on the reviews. We were there January 24-31, 2026. The one and only complaint we have is that the food was never warm enough. It wouldn’t matter what restaurant you went to the food was cold. As for people saying they were sick, you’re in a different country eating and drinking differently so yes you may have an upset stomach. We all ate the food and no one was ill. Take what you read with a grain of salt. After being there we are glad we didn’t cancel. We will return.

Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Punta Cana: complexe hôtelier exceptionnel

Je tiens à remercier trois employés exceptionnels qui nous ont aidés au Punta Can Hard Rock. Ils se sont mis en quatre pour nous aider. Ramone du service d'étage, Daniella du bar de la piscine Bongos et Yoao, le groom. Ils ont tous rendu notre séjour beaucoup plus agréable grâce à leur excellent service et nous ont mis très à l'aise.

amazing resort I would like to give a shout out to 3 special employees that helped us at punta can hard rock. they went out of there way to help us out. Ramone in room service and Daniella at the Bongos pool bar and Yoao the bellman. They all made our stay much better with great service and making us feel very comfortable

Ocean Blue and Sand: Belle station balnéaire

C'était un hôtel agréable, même s'il ne s'agissait pas d'un complexe 5 étoiles. Les chambres étaient usées. Elles ont vraiment besoin d'être rénovées. Les boissons servies au bar étaient mauvaises... elles ne contenaient presque pas d'alcool. La serveuse du bar de la plage n'était pas très aimable. Je ne suis pas un grand buveur, mais j'aime bien déguster un cocktail de temps en temps. La direction devrait également prendre des mesures concernant la réservation des chaises longues à la plage et  [... lire plus]autour de la piscine. Les gens les réservaient tôt le matin, à 7 heures, et ne se présentaient pas avant midi. Une seule personne venait occuper plusieurs transats pour tout un groupe de 10 personnes ou plus. Ce n'était pas bien. À part cela, le personnel était sympathique dans les restaurants et à la réception. Le service de nettoyage des chambres était également bon.

Nice Resort It was a nice hotel although not a 5 star resort overall. Rooms were worn out. Definitely need an upgrade. Drinks at the bar were afoul.. hardly any alcohol in them. Lady at the beach bar not very friendly. I’m not a big drinker although I’d like to enjoy my cocktail ones in a while. Also the management had to do something about reserving the lounge chairs at the beach as well as around the pool area. People reserve them early in the morning 7 am and not show up half the day. One person comes and occupies multiple chairs for whole group of 10 or more. Not good. Other than, staff were friendly at the restaurants and reception area. Room cleaning service also good.

Royalton Splash Punta Cana: Séjour merveilleux !

C'était un endroit magnifique avec beaucoup de choses à faire. Le personnel était très compétent et sympathique. Il y avait tellement d'activités amusantes, notamment les spectacles hommage à Michael Jackson et aux Beatles, qui ont été deux moments forts. Mon fils et moi avons également fait du parachute ascensionnel.

Wonderful stay! It was a wonderful spot and lots to do. Staff were so good and friendly. There were so many fun activities, the Michael Jackson and Beatles tribute shows being two highlights. Myself and my son also went parasailing.

JOIA Bavaro by Iberostar: L'Iberostar Joy-a était excellent... encore une fois.

La perfection absolue, encore une fois ! C'était notre 6e ou 7e séjour au Joia Bávaro by Iberostar, et chaque fois, c'est encore mieux. Ce complexe hôtelier est vraiment devenu notre deuxième maison. Houston, notre majordome, était exceptionnel : professionnel, attentionné et sincèrement prévenant. Il s'est occupé de chaque détail à la perfection. Ery, au bar de la piscine, était incroyable. Il préparait de délicieuses boissons avec une énergie joyeuse et accueillante qui nous donnait envie d [... lire plus]e revenir. Les matins étaient égayés par Ortiz, au buffet, dont la chaleur et le service amical donnaient le ton parfait pour la journée. Le terrain de golf était un rêve, exactement ce dont nous, Canadiens, avons besoin en janvier : luxuriant, magnifique et parfait pour échapper à l'hiver chez nous. Du personnel exceptionnel aux magnifiques jardins en passant par le service irréprochable, Joia Bávaro continue de dépasser nos attentes. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir et nous attendons déjà avec impatience notre prochaine visite. Nous le recommandons vivement.

Iberostar Joy-a was excellent……again Absolute perfection—again! This was our 6th or 7th stay at Joia Bávaro by Iberostar, and it somehow gets better every time. This resort has truly become our home away from home. Houston, our butler, was exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. He made every detail seamless. Ery at the pool bar was incredible, crafting great drinks with a fun, welcoming energy that kept us coming back. Mornings were made brighter by Ortiz at the buffet, whose warmth and friendly service set the perfect tone for the day. The golf course was a dream, and exactly what we Canadians need in January—lush, beautiful, and a perfect escape from winter back home. From the outstanding staff to the beautiful grounds and flawless service, Joia Bávaro continues to exceed expectations. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and already can’t wait for our next visit. Highly, highly recommended.

Bahia Principe Explore Esmeralda: Superbe complexe hôtelier en République dominicaine

Le Luxury Esmeralda disposait d'un superbe aménagement paysager et de magnifiques piscines avec bars aquatiques. Notre chambre donnait directement sur la piscine, ce qui était très agréable après une longue promenade sur la plage de Bavaro. Notre chambre correspondait exactement à nos attentes et était toujours très bien entretenue par le personnel de l'hôtel. Le service était excellent. Alexa, à la réception, parlait particulièrement bien anglais et nous a donné de bons conseils sur notre séjou [... lire plus]r et sur la façon de se déplacer dans tous les complexes Bahía Príncipe. Le personnel chargé des activités a également fait un travail formidable. Nous avons participé à des cours d'aquagym tous les jours pendant notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les restaurants mongol et naan, ainsi que le restaurant de steaks MEAT (Grand Punta Cana). Le bar sportif était idéal pour suivre les événements sportifs et leurs plats/snacks étaient excellents. Merci pour votre hospitalité !

Great DR resort Luxury Esmeralda had great landscaping and wonderful pools for swimming and swimup bars. Our room had a swimup to our room and it was refreshing after a long walk on Bavaro Beach. Our room was exactly what we expected and the room was always made up very well by the hotel staff. The service was excellent at the hotel. In particular Alexa at the front desk spoke good english and advices us on our stay and how to get around all of the Bahía Príncipe resorts. The activity staff did an awesome job as well. We joined in on Aquafit every day that we were on site. Overall, very good a la carte restaurants. We loved the Mongolian and Naan restaurants as well as the MEAT steak restaurant (Grand Punta Cana) the best. The sports bar was excellent to catch up on sports and their food/snacks were superb. Thank you for your hospitality!

The Eurostars Grand Cayacoa: Joli complexe hôtelier, mais…

La plage est publique. Elle est agréable, mais trop petite pour accueillir autant de monde. Je n'ai pas dormi pendant deux nuits, car le plafond de ma salle de bain fuyait abondamment. Je n'ai reçu aucune compensation.

Nice resort but…. The beach is public. And it is nice but too small for the amount of people. I had 2 nights of no sleep as the ceiling in my bathroom was leaking a substantial amount of water. No compensation was offered to me.

Dreams Onyx Resort and Spa: Dreams Onyx : avis honnête

Dreams Onyx a répondu à toutes nos attentes, et même plus. La suite de l'hôtel était spacieuse, propre et moderne. Les jardins étaient bien entretenus et très beaux. Les piscines étaient grandes et peu fréquentées. La rivière lente, les toboggans aquatiques et la piscine étaient très agréables et généralement un peu ombragés l'après-midi. Nous n'avons jamais eu de mal à trouver des chaises longues. La plage était très sablonneuse et propice à la baignade. Il y avait des algues, mais elles étaien [... lire plus]t régulièrement retirées, ce qui ne posait généralement pas de problème. La nourriture dans les restaurants et au buffet était très bonne, mais pas exceptionnelle. Le buffet proposait un large choix de plats. Le Coco Cafe servait le meilleur café. Les animations étaient généralement assez bonnes. Les bars proposaient les boissons habituelles et nous n'avions pas pris le forfait préférentiel, donc nous ne savons pas s'ils proposaient une meilleure sélection d'alcools haut de gamme. Dans l'ensemble, le personnel était accueillant et soucieux de nous satisfaire, et nous n'avons eu aucun problème. Je recommanderais cet hôtel aux familles ou aux adultes.

Dreams Onyx honest review Dreams Onyx was everything we expected and more. The hotel suite was spacious, clean and modern. The grounds were well maintained and quite beautiful. the pools were large and not crowded. the Lazy River, water slides and pool was very nice and usually a bit in the shade in the afternoon. There was never an issue finding lounge chairs. The beach was very sandy and swimmable. There was sea grass but it was regularly removed so not usually an issue. The food at the restaurants and buffet was very good but not exceptional. There was a wide array of food selection at the buffet. The Coco Cafe had the best coffee. The entertainment was generally quite good. The bars had the normal drinks and we did not have the preferred package so don't know if they had a better selection of top shelf alcohol. Overall the staff were welcoming and wanting to please and we had no issues whatso ever. I would recommend this resort for families or adults.

Bahia Principe Escape Ambar: Emplacement idéal - 3e visite. Quelques points à prendre en considération cependant.

L'Ambar est un hôtel charmant avec un personnel formidable, une superbe plage et une piscine, mais il aurait besoin d'être rafraîchi. C'était notre troisième séjour. La dernière fois, c'était il y a environ dix ans. Certaines chambres sont un peu vieillottes. Le représentant de Bahia Principe a tenu à préciser que plusieurs autres hôtels du groupe avaient récemment été rafraîchis et rénovés ; c'est maintenant au tour de l'Ambar. Cela dit, les animations étaient superbes et la plupart des rest [... lire plus]aurants excellents. Le service était bon. Seule exception, et pas dans le bon sens du terme, Maiko : c'était le chaos, de l'accueil au dessert. Limbo et Portofino étaient fabuleux. N'oubliez pas d'emporter un spray anti-moustiques si vous avez tendance à vous faire piquer par les mouches des sables. Mon mari a été piqué plusieurs fois aux jambes (moi pas, allez comprendre) et ça le démangeait beaucoup. Dans l'ensemble, je retournerais dans cet hôtel, mais je vérifierais d'abord si les rénovations ont été effectuées. Notre expérience avec Bahia Principe a été globalement bonne, et leur application améliorée est super.

Great location-3rd visit. Some things to consider though The Ambar is a lovely hotel with wonderful staff, great beach and pool, but it's due for a refresh. This was our 3rd visit. The last time was about 10 years ago. Some of the rooms are a bit tired. Bahia Principe rep made a point of saying that a couple of the other hotels in the group had recently been refreshed and renovated; time for the Ambar to have its turn. Having said that, entertainment was great, most restaurants wonderful. Service good. Exception, and not in a good way, Maiko; it was Chaos from the hostess to dessert. Limbo and Portofino were fabulous. Do bring along some bug spray if you tend to get bitten by sand flies--my husband got a lot of bites on his legs (I have none, go figure) and they were really itchy. All in all, I would go back to this hotel but would be checking to see if the renovations were done first. Our experience with Bahia Principe has been good overall, and their upgraded app is super.
