Un bon centre de villégiature !

Dans l'ensemble, bonne station. Personnel sympathique. Belle plage. La nourriture était correcte, il faut choisir. Le personnel du buffet et des bars était super, il savait exactement ce que nous voulions quelques jours après notre séjour. Je recommanderais sans hésiter ce complexe.

Good Resort! Overall good resort. Friendly staff. Beautiful beach. Food was okay, have to pick and choose. Staff at buffet and bars were great, knew exactly what we wanted within a few days of our stay. Would definitely recommend this resort.

Station balnéaire sous-estimée

Mon mari & moi avons séjourné à Iberostar Tainos du 23 au 30 janvier 2015. Je ne peux pas dire grand-chose pour le temps (il était venteux, frais et nuageux pour la plupart) mais, dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très heureux de notre choix de station. Nous avons voyagé avec ma mère âgée et son amie, nous espérions donc un endroit calme, intime et compact. Je dirais que nous l'avons trouvé. Le complexe lui-même était bien entretenu, bien aménagé et disposait de tous les équipements que l'on est  [... lire plus]en droit d'attendre d'un établissement de cette taille. Notre chambre bungalow était propre et spacieuse (bien qu'une cafetière et un radio-réveil n'auraient pas été de trop) ; le lit était confortable. La piscine était centrale, de taille adéquate et entourée d'un nombre suffisant de chaises longues. La plage était charmante - large avec beaucoup de palapas. Le buffet était, comme c'est souvent le cas à Cuba, tout juste suffisant. Cependant, nous avons tous été impressionnés par la qualité des plats à la carte (créoles et japonais). Et le barbecue quotidien de midi au bord de la piscine, avec un petit mini-buffet et de la bonne musique cubaine pour aider à la digestion, a également été un favori. En vérité, la meilleure partie d'Ibertostar Tainos ??? Les gens. Le personnel du hall et de la réception était au top : serviable, chaleureux et doté d'un grand sens de l'humour. Les femmes de chambre étaient formidables et les serveurs du bar de la piscine (Julio, George et Maybi) ont fait en sorte que nous nous sentions comme chez nous. Rien que pour cela, je recommanderais cet endroit à mes amis.

Underrated resort My husband & I stayed at Iberostar Tainos from January 23rd to 30th, 2015. I can’t say much for the weather (it was windy, cool and cloudy for the most part) but, overall, we were very happy with our choice of resort. We travelled with my elderly mother & her friend so we were hoping for someplace quiet, intimate and compact. I’d say we found it. The resort itself was well maintained, conveniently laid out and had all the amenities that one would expect for a facility of this size. Our bungalow room was clean and spacious (although a coffee maker & a clock radio would not go amiss here); the bed comfortable. The pool was central, adequately sized and surrounded by an adequate number of chaises. The beach was lovely – broad with lots of palapas to go around. The buffet was, as is often the case in Cuba, merely adequate. We were all, however, rather impressed by the quality of the a la Cartes (both Creole and Japanese). And the daily lunchtime barbeque by the pool, with a little mini-buffet and great Cuban music to aid the digestion was also a favourite. In truth, the best part of Ibertostar Tainos??? The people. The lobby and front desk staff were top drawer – helpful, warm and possessed of a great sense of humour. The maids were great and the wait staff at the pool bar (Julio, George & Maybi) really made us feel at home. I’d recommend this place to my friends on that basis alone.

Magnifique terrain et plage.

Le terrain était excellent, la chambre était décevante, le service était excellent et le personnel très sympathique. La seule chose qui nous a déplu est la nourriture. C'était la même chose jour après jour et nous ne nous attendions pas à de la charcuterie.

Beautiful grounds and beach. Grounds were excellent, room was a disappointment, service was excellent and staff very friendly. Only thing that we did not care for was the food. It was the same thing day after day and we did not expect cold cuts.

Un diamant brut

C'est notre troisième séjour à Tainos. Le complexe est petit et il n'y a pas de foule à combattre pour les repas ou pour un parasol sur la plage. Nous revenons toujours pour une raison principale. C'est la plage. Nous nous sommes rendus à plusieurs endroits à Varadero, Cayo Coco et Santa Maria, à Cuba. Nous nous sommes également rendus à Punta Cana et à Ocho Rios, en Jamaïque. Aucun n'arrive à la cheville de la plage de l'Iberostar, Tainos. Outre la plage, le personnel du Tainos n'a rien à envie [... lire plus]r à personne. Ils sont extrêmement sympathiques et serviables. Le complexe commence à prendre de l'âge, mais il est en train d'être rénové, et nous étions dans l'une des chambres récemment rénovées. C'est absolument charmant. La nourriture à Cuba n'est certainement pas l'attraction principale. Cela dit, nous n'avons jamais eu de mal à trouver quelque chose qui nous convienne dans ce complexe. en fait, les repas sont très bons ! En résumé, si vous venez à Cuba pour vous détendre sur la plage, vous ne trouverez pas de meilleur endroit. Tout le reste ne fait que rendre cette possibilité très attrayante. Bon appétit !

A diamond in the rough This is our 3rd stay at Tainos. The resort is small, and there are no crowds to fight for meals or for a parasol at the beach. We keep returning for one main reason. That is the beach. We have been to several locations in Varadero, Cayo Coco, and Santa Maria, Cuba. Also several locations in Punta Cana as well as Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Not one can hold a candle to the beach at Iberostar, Tainos. Aside from the beach, the staff at Tainos take a backseat to nobody. They are extremely friendly and obliging. The resort is starting to show its' age, but they are in the process of renovating the resort, and we were in one of the newly renovated rooms. It is absolutely lovely. The food in Cuba is certainly never the main attraction. That being said, we never have a problem finding something that agrees with us at this resort. in fact, the meals are actually very good ! To sum up, if you are coming to Cuba to relax on the beach, you won't find a better place. Everything else simply makes your ability to do this very appealing. Enjoy !!
