Une expérience étonnante

Nous avons été stupéfaits par la taille des piscines et des hôtels en général, on se sent comme dans une petite ville, pas besoin de sortir ; beaucoup de choses à faire pour les enfants ; les gens sont extrêmement gentils partout dans l'hôtel. Très bonne nourriture.

Amazing experience We were stoned by the size of the pools and generally the hotels, you feel like in a small city, no need to go outside; plenty of things for kids to do; people extremely nice everywhere at the hotel. Great food.

Une nourriture fabuleuse !

Magnifique, personnel sympathique, très propre, paysage tropical magnifique. Nourriture fantastique, plage magnifique. Je reviendrai sans hésiter dans ce centre de villégiature. Superbes boutiques sur place également. Je reviendrais sans aucun doute séjourner dans ce complexe.

De superbes vacances

Le centre de villégiature était très bien. Cependant, nous ne pensions pas qu'il s'agirait d'un endroit où les problèmes liés aux vacances de printemps se poseraient. Les enfants ivres et grossiers ne faisaient pas partie de notre semaine entre filles et sont devenus gênants. La sécurité les a fait taire.

Great vacation The resort was great. We however did not think it would be a place that would involve spring break issues. Rude drunk kids were not part of our girl week and became bothersome. Security did shut them down.

Un endroit où il fait bon aller

Les chambres étaient propres, le service excellent et les bâtiments et installations bien entretenus. La nourriture était bonne au buffet. Les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons. La plage était superbe, à l'exception de quelques zones rocheuses dans l'eau qu'il suffit d'éviter. Les piscines étaient excellentes et le bar de nage était agréable.

A great place to go The rooms were clean, service was excellent, and the buildings and facilities were well maintained. The food was good t the buffet. The a la cart restaurants were very good. The beach was great aside from some rocky areas in the water which you just need to avoid. The pools were excellent, and the swim up bar was nice.

Superbe hôtel à bien des égards, décor un peu vieillot.

Idéalement situé à proximité de l'aéroport. Les terrains et la faune sont magnifiques. Excellent centre de remise en forme avec des cours dispensés par des professionnels. J'ai suivi des cours de cyclisme, de bootcamp et de yoga. La décoration du hall de l'hôtel Del Mar n'est pas de bon goût. On dirait des couleurs Disney mal assorties avec des peintures et des peintures murales qui ne vont pas. Le côté Beach est de bien meilleur goût. Le personnel est sympathique et travailleur. La décoration d [... lire plus]es chambres est fatiguée. Les couvre-lits ne sont pas attrayants. J'ai été impressionné par le fait que les chambres n'avaient pas d'odeur de moisi et que nous étions au rez-de-chaussée. Bon programme de recyclage. Je n'aime pas les étangs d'eau brune autour du hall d'entrée. Ils ont l'air sales et ressemblent à des lieux de reproduction des moustiques. L'eau sent un peu mauvais. La nourriture était très bonne. Les boissons étaient bonnes. J'ai adoré le restaurant japonais. Le Rock Cafe était un changement agréable. Restaurant/bar sportif à service complet sans réservation. Les divertissements en soirée étaient de bonne qualité avec un groupe de musiciens professionnels. La discothèque jouait de la bonne musique. Le centre commercial de la station avait quelques bons cafés et bars. La plage était belle, mais elle est très ondulée car il n'y a pas de protection. Le service de boissons par le personnel sur la plage était excellent. Nous devions nous rendre à la plage avant le petit déjeuner pour réserver une chaise pour la journée.

Great hotel in many ways, decor a bit old. Conveniently close to airport. Grounds and wildlife are beautiful. Great fitness center with professionally instructed classes. I took cycling, bootcamp and yoga. Decor of lobby in Del Mar is not tasteful. It looks like badly matched disney colors with some left over paintings and murals that don't go. The Beach side is much more tasteful. Staff friendly and hardworking. Room decor is tired. Bedspreads are not attractive. I was impressed that the rooms had no musty smell and we were on the ground floor. Good recycling program. I dont like the brown water ponds around the lobby area. Looks dirty and like mosquito breeding grounds. A bit of a smell from the water. Food was very good. Drinks were good. Loved the Japanese restaurant. The Rock Cafe was a nice change. Full service restaurant/sportsbar without a reservation. The evening entertainment was good quality with a professional quality live band. The disco played good music. The shopping center at the resort had some good cafes and bars. The beach was nice but it's very wavy as there is no protection. The beverage service by staff on the beach was great. We had to go to the beach before breakfast to reserve a chair for the day.

Des vacances idéales en février.

Magnifique, luxuriant, tropical avec des oiseaux exotiques et la faune.Bonne nourriture, et beaucoup de choix.Japonais et méditerranéen a la cartel apprécié, mais réserver tôt ou vous ne serez pas entrer.Passé tous les jours à la plage, en admirant l'eau turquoise.

A great vacation in February. Beautiful,lush,tropical grounds with exotic birds and wildlife.Good food,and lots of choices.Japanese and Mediterranean a la cartel enjoyed,but book early or you won't get in.Spent everyday at the beach,admiring the turquoise water.

Immense centre de villégiature. Excellente cuisine. Chambres agréables. Personnel sympathique. Plage magnifique. Proche de l'aéroport. Proche de Playa del Carmen et proche de Peurto Moreles. Grande piscine mais très froide. Il y a un petit centre commercial sur le site et un centre de convention.

Station moyenne, rien de spécial

Le resort est dépassé, pas d'air conditionné dans les restaurants, nourriture moyenne, des tonnes de moustiques, divertissement nocturne médiocre, j'ai été dans de meilleurs endroits à riviera maya pour moins d'argent, le vol de départ a été retardé de 4 heures, en fait nous avions 6 jours et non 7

Average resort, nothing special Outdated resort, no ac in the restaraunts, average food, tons of moskitos, poor night entertaiment, been to better places in riviera maya for less money, outbound flight delayed for 4 hours basicaly we had 6 days and not 7

La deuxième fois

Deuxième séjour dans ce complexe. Superbe emplacement et équipements, mais un peu déçu par la nourriture du buffet cette fois-ci. Un moment de détente et de plaisir pour toute la famille ! Nous planifions déjà notre prochain voyage, nous essayerons le Lindo au début de l'année prochaine.

Second Time Around Second time at this resort. Great location and amenities but a bit disappointed at the buffet food this time around. Relaxed and fun time for the whole family! We are already planing for the next trip, will try the Lindo in the beginning of next year.

Superbe station balnéaire

Nous venons de rentrer d'un séjour de deux semaines dans ce complexe extraordinaire. C'était notre deuxième voyage et c'était spectaculaire. C'était tellement luxuriant et tropical avec des tonnes de faune et de flore. Le complexe est très bien géré et extrêmement propre. Le service et la nourriture dans tous les restaurants ont largement dépassé nos attentes. Cette année, il y a un problème d'algues qui se produit tout le long de la côte et le personnel a travaillé sans relâche pour nettoyer la [... lire plus] plage tous les matins. Le complexe dispose d'une immense piscine avec trois bars de nage. Il y a également un petit centre commercial dans le complexe. La nourriture et les boissons sont incluses dans le bracelet. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute dans ce complexe.

Awesome resort We just returned from a two week stay at this amazing resort. This was our second trip and it was spectacular. It was so lush and tropical with tons of wildlife. The resort is very well run and extremely clean. The service and food in every restaurant far exceeded our expectations. There is an issue with seaweed this year which is happening all along the coast and the staff worked tirelessly to clean the beach every morning. This resort has a huge pool with three swim-up bars. There is also a small shopping mall in the complex. All food and drinks are included with your wrist band. We will definitely return to this resort again.

Un grand moment !!!

Le terrain de ce centre de villégiature est magnifique. Il y a beaucoup d'animaux sauvages et le terrain est très verdoyant. Tout est très dispersé, donc si vous avez envie de marcher, ce n'est pas pour vous. Nous avons apprécié la piscine, la plage, la nourriture et nous avons rencontré beaucoup de gens formidables.

Great Time!!! The grounds at this resort are beautiful. There is lots of wildlife and the ground are very lush with greenery. Everything is really spread out so if you mind walking this is not for you. We enjoyed the pool, beach, food, and we met lots of great people.

A adoré ce centre de villégiature

Ce complexe est le plus propre et le plus beau dans lequel j'ai séjourné. Le service était excellent de la part de tous les employés. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié les serveuses du hall d'entrée. Elles étaient si aimables et efficaces. Les barmans travaillent très dur tout en gardant une attitude joyeuse, en particulier ceux du bar de la plage. La nourriture était excellente dans tous les buffets et les 3 chariots al a que nous avons essayés. J'ai particulièrement apprécié le buffet japon [... lire plus]ais. Le seul point négatif est la partie rocheuse de la plage. C'était super les premiers jours quand nous pouvions nager dans une zone où il n'y avait pas de rochers, mais dans la dernière partie de la semaine, un ressac nous a obligés à aller dans une zone où les rochers posaient problème. Ce n'est pas grave, mais c'est moins bien.

loved this resort This resort was the cleanest, most beautiful resort I have stayed in. The service was topnotch from all the workers. We especially enjoyed the waitresses in the lobby. They were so friendly and efficient. The bartenders work so hard but still maintain a cheerful attitude, particularly the guys at the beach bar. Food was terrific in all buffets and the 3 al a carts we tried. Especially enjoyed the Japanese one. The only negative I have is the rocky part of the beach. It was great the first few days when we could swim in an area where there were no rocks but in the later part of the week an undertow there meant we had to go to an area where rocks were an issue. Not a huge thing, just not as good.

Une semaine fantastique... un lieu de villégiature exceptionnel

La chambre était très bien. Le personnel de nettoyage était excellent. Les employés de la réception étaient gentils et offraient un excellent service. La piscine était superbe et la plage était magnifique... belle et sablonneuse (très agitée... drapeaux rouges toute la semaine). La nourriture était excellente, en particulier le restaurant méditerranéen Le personnel était tous incroyables... des remerciements particuliers à Yeya, Eli et Roger. Un seul point négatif... plutôt une question d'améli [... lire plus]oration de la qualité... ce centre de villégiature est absolument gigantesque. La signalisation doit être améliorée. Il était difficile de savoir quel buffet était ouvert à quel moment, et presque impossible de s'y retrouver. L'orientation a besoin d'être grandement améliorée. Pour le reste, nous avons passé une semaine fantastique et nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Fantastic week...great resort Room was very nice. Cleaning staff was excellent. Front desk people were nice and gave great service. Pool areas were amazing, and beach was beautiful...nice and Sandy (very rough...red flags all week). The food was excellent, especially the Mediterranean restaurant The staff were all incredible...special thanks, to Yeya, Eli and Roger. Only one negative thing...more of a quality improvement thing...this resort is absolutely huge. They need much better signage. It was difficult to figure out which buffet was open when, and almost impossible to find your way around. The wayfinding needs vast improvement. Others Han that, we had a fantastic week and would definitely return.

Super propre, tout le personnel est génial, la propriété est incroyable !!!! La nourriture était correcte, dans l'ensemble c'était bien. C'est un endroit énorme, beaucoup de marche, mais ils avaient aussi un grand service avec la navette, parfait pour des vacances en famille

Great resort Super clean, all the staff is great, the property is amazing!!!! The food was ok, over all it was good. It's a huge place, lots of walk, but they also had an great service with shuttle bus, great for family vacation

Grand centre de villégiature

Magnifique complexe, les piscines sont incroyables, le personnel est amical et très serviable. Il y a toujours quelque chose qui se passe si vous voulez participer ou simplement rester en retrait et regarder. Nous n'avons jamais eu à sortir tôt pour obtenir une chaise longue, il y en avait toujours une de disponible. Le bar de la piscine Lindo était génial, construit dans la roche avec une chute d'eau. La piscine de la section Del Mar et Beach est immense, elle s'étend à l'infini d'un bout à l'a [... lire plus]utre de la station. Chaque jour, il se passait quelque chose à la plage, d'un taureau mécanique à un barbecue en passant par une fête sur la plage avec de la musique. Beaucoup de paons, de cygnes, de flamants roses. Les restaurants à la carte étaient excellents, j'ai adoré le steakhouse, le filet de bœuf fondant dans la bouche, la table de spectacle japonaise, tellement amusante. J'ai visité probablement 10 ou 12 centres de villégiature différents dans les Caraïbes et celui-ci est définitivement en haut de ma liste. Nous y retournerons certainement.

Great resort Beautiful resort, the pools are amazing, staff friendly and very helpful. There is always something going on if you want to join in or just stand back and watch. We never had to go out early to get a lounger there was always one available. The swim up bar at the Lindo was awesome, built into the rock with a waterfall. The pool at the Del Mar and Beach section is huge it goes on forever from one end of the resort to the other. Everyday there was something going on at the beach from a mechanical bull to a bbq to a beach party with music. Lots of peacocks, swans, flamingos. Al a carte restaurants were excellent loved the Steakhouse melt in your mouth beef tenderloin, Japanese show table so much fun. I have been to probably 10 or 12 different resorts in the Caribbean and this one is definitely at the top of my list. We will be going back again for sure.

Merveilleuses vacances !

Un magnifique hôtel de villégiature, propriété jumelle du Paraiso Beach (installations communes disponibles). Un court transfert depuis l'aéroport dans un confort climatisé nous a permis de bien commencer nos vacances. Nombreuses options pour passer des vacances tranquilles (une piscine tranquille est disponible) ou plus actives (belle salle de sport, cours inclus, etc.). Piscine et plage exceptionnelles (plage accessible aux fauteuils roulants grâce à une superbe promenade, avec des palapas dés [... lire plus]ignés pour les fauteuils roulants), avec beaucoup d'ombre et de chaises longues. Renseignez-vous sur les possibilités de transport en bus vers la ville voisine de Playa del Carmen. Les buffets et le service sont incroyables - ils sont par exemple adaptés au paléo - et les glaces et crêperies incluses dans le centre commercial sont très attrayantes. Nous avons adoré la nourriture au restaurant brésilien Rodizio, mais le service l'a malheureusement moins été (c'est peut-être une question de chance). Le service internet dans la chambre était lent - probablement mieux dans le hall. Le bruit dans la chambre était parfois perceptible, mais ce n'était pas un problème pour nous - apportez des bouchons d'oreille si vous êtes un dormeur sensible. Le personnel reste exceptionnel, très amical, multilingue et désireux d'aider sans attendre de pourboire, il est vraiment merveilleux. C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons à Iberostar - nous avons séjourné au Beach l'année dernière - et nous serions ravis de revenir l'année prochaine !

Wonderful Vacation! A gorgeous resort hotel, sister property to the Paraiso Beach (shared facilities available). A short transfer from the airport in air-conditioned comfort helped us get off to a great start to our vacation. Plenty of options to enjoy a quiet vacation (quiet pool is available), or more active fun (nice gym, included classes, etc.). Outstanding pool and beach areas (wheelchair accessible beach thanks to a great boardwalk, with designated palapas for wheelchairs), with plenty of shade and loungers. Ask about bus arrangements to nearby Playa del Carmen. Amazing buffet food and service--paleo friendly, for eg. Included ice cream and creperie at the shopping centre were appealing. We loved the food at the Brazilian Rodizio restaurant--the service, less so unfortunately (may be hit and miss). Room internet service was slow--likely better in the lobby. Room noise was noticeable at times, but not a problem for us--bring earplugs if you are a sensitive sleeper. The staff remain outstanding--very friendly, multilingual, and eager to help without any tipping expected--genuinely wonderful. This is our second time to Iberostar--we stayed at the Beach last year--and we would love to return next year, too!

L'hôtel était bien, le service était excellent.La chambre que nous avions était propre et nettoyée tous les jours.Le terrain était bien entretenu.Le complexe est grand et vous avez besoin d'un moyen de transport pour vous déplacer si vous êtes fatigué de marcher.Le complexe est étendu.La plage avait des algues partout et des zones rocheuses, il fallait donc faire attention en y allant.Il y avait beaucoup de vent pendant que nous étions là.La nourriture était la même presque tous les jours.Nous s [... lire plus]ommes allés à 3 alacartes et n'avons apprécié qu'un seul d'entre eux.Nous n'avons pas aimé qu'à l'heure du déjeuner le buffet principal soit fermé et que vous deviez aller manger à celui qui se trouve près de la plage.Il était loin du hall principal.Le personnel est très amical et serviable.Nous avons trouvé que les piscines étaient très fraîches pour nager.Il y a beaucoup de marche pour se rendre à la plage ou au hall où se trouvent les restos.

An average resort The hotel was good,service was great.The room we had was clean and made up everyday.The grounds were well manicured.The resort is large and you needed transportation to get around if you were tired walking.The resort is spread out.The beach had sea weed all over and rocky areas so you had to be carefull going in.It was very windy the time we were there.The food was the same almost everyday.We went to 3 alacartes and enjoyed only one of them.We did not like that at lunch time the main buffet area was closed and you had to go eat at the one near the beach.It was far from the main lobby.The staff is very friendly and helpful.We found the swimming pools were very cool to swim in.There is a lot of walking to get to the beach or to the lobby were the resteraunts are located.

Un lieu de vacances idéal

Il n'y a eu aucune déception. Le personnel et le groupe de divertissement ont été formidables pour servir et divertir les clients et les rendre heureux. J'aime l'immense terrain et les promenades dans la jungle luxuriante.

Great Place to vacation There was no disappointments. The staff and entertainment group were awesome at service and keeping the guests entertained and happy. I love the huge ground and walking thru the lush jungle like grounds.

Hôtel et personnel extraordinaires !

Le terrain est magnifique et bien entretenu. Il y a beaucoup d'endroits privés où vous pouvez sortir des sentiers battus et passer des moments tranquilles, si vous le souhaitez. J'ai particulièrement apprécié les hamacs sur la plage et les lits balançoires avec des matelas épais et des oreillers où l'on peut s'allonger à l'ombre ou au soleil. La piscine est spectaculaire, avec des chaises confortables. Le personnel est toujours là pour répondre à vos moindres besoins. La plage est longue et prop [... lire plus]re, avec des vendeurs de bijoux, de couvertures, de maillots de bain, de lunettes de soleil et de cigares. Ils ne sont pas insistants et respectent votre refus. Je recommande vivement ce complexe. Nous avons séjourné dans la section des 1600 chambres, à mi-chemin entre la plage et le hall d'entrée. Je recommande ce secteur, car vous êtes proche de tout. Nous étions heureux de marcher après chaque repas.

Amazing hotel and staff! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are a lot of private spots where you can go off the beaten path and have quiet time, if you choose. I particularly liked the hammocks on the beach and the swinging beds with thick mattresses and pillows where you could lay in the shade or sun. The pool is spectacular with comfortable chairs. The staff is always there to cater to your every need. The beach is long and clean, with vendors selling everything from jewellery, blankets, beach cover ups, sunglasses and cigars. They are not pushy and respect when you say no. I highly recommend this resort. We stayed in the 1600 room section, which was half way between the beach and front lobby. I recommend this area, as you are close to everything. We were happy to walk after eating each meal.

Excellent centre de villégiature

La nourriture, les boissons et les chambres sont toutes excellentes. Beaucoup d'animaux sauvages et de randonnées. Les paons étaient un peu gênants lorsqu'ils chantaient tôt le matin. Nous recommandons vivement ce centre de villégiature. Belles piscines, il y en a pour tous les goûts.

Excellent Resort Food, drinks, rooms all excellent. Lots of wildlife and walking. Peacocks were a bit of a nuisance when they "crowed" early in the morning . Highly recommend this resort . Great pools, something for everyone.
