The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Une semaine extraordinaire à Azul Fives

C'est la première fois que je viens dans ce centre de villégiature et c'est incroyable ! Le personnel était très amical et serviable. J'ai demandé à partir plus tard parce que notre navette arrivait plus tard dans l'après-midi et ils ont été très accommodants. La nourriture était incroyable, en particulier le restaurant MesoTapas (très authentique). Le complexe lui-même était magnifique ! J'ai été dans un 5 étoiles en RD et c'était 10 fois mieux. Il y avait beaucoup d'activités auxquelles on pou [... lire plus]vait participer ou que l'on pouvait faire soi-même (basket-ball, tennis, jeu de palets, échecs et jeu de dames). Il était très frustrant de voir que certaines personnes ne donnaient pas de pourboire au personnel de service après les avoir complimentés sur la nourriture et le service - c'est très ignorant si vous voulez mon avis. Je recommanderais sans hésiter ce complexe à mes amis et à ma famille et j'ai hâte d'y retourner !

An AMAZING week at Azul Fives My first time to this resort and it was amazing!! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I asked for a later checkout due to our shuttle coming later in the afternoon and they were very accommodating. The food was amazing- especially the MesoTapas restaurant (very authentic). The resort itself was beautiful! I have been to a 5 star in DR and this was 10 times better. They had a lot of activities to participate in as well as on your own (basketball, tennis, shuffle board, chess/checkers). It was very frustrating to see some people not tipping the wait staff after they had complemented them on the food and service- very ignorant if you ask me. I would definitely recommend this Resort to my friends and family and can't wait to go back!!

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Superbe station pour adultes

Dans l'ensemble, c'est du haut de gamme ! J'aime bien essayer un endroit différent, mais je retournerais dans ce centre de villégiature. La nourriture était incroyable et les alcools de qualité supérieure. Toujours des divertissements le soir, un grand groupe, la piste de danse était toujours pleine. La semaine où nous sommes partis, l'eau était agitée, ce qui a été une déception, mais la plage était agréable

Great adult resort Overall top shelf! I do like to always try somewhere different but I would go back to this resort. Food was amazing and top shelf liquor. Always entertainment at night great band, dance floor was always full. The week we were away the water was rough so that was a disappointment but nice beach

Sandos Caracol Nature Resort and Water Park: D'excellentes vacances à un prix très avantageux !

Nous avons passé une semaine ici avec nos deux enfants de 4 et 6 ans à la mi-novembre. Nous avons passé un moment très relaxant et amusant. Avantages : - La station est vraiment belle et luxuriante. - Beaucoup d'activités pour les enfants. Il y avait deux spectacles pour enfants (superheros, Disney), ils étaient bien faits et nos enfants les ont vraiment appréciés. - La chambre était mieux que ce à quoi je m'attendais ; les balcons sont très petits. - Le parc aquatique était vraiment génial, ma [... lire plus]is rétrospectivement, nos enfants se seraient quand même bien amusés dans un resort qui ne l'avait pas, probablement parce que la piscine était si chaude et que nous avons pu y passer des heures et des heures. - Les spectacles de xcalacoco étaient très intéressants et c'était amusant qu'ils se déroulent dans des endroits différents à chaque fois. Un peu effrayant pour l'enfant de 4 ans cependant. - Les enfants ont adoré tous les animaux. - Se promener dans le complexe était toujours intéressant. Inconvénients - seulement 2 : - La plage - s'asseoir sur la plage était magnifique et génial, mais aller dans l'eau était un peu difficile. Il y avait des rochers à l'entrée. Mais nos enfants aiment vraiment aller dans l'océan et ils ont adoré jouer sur la plage et amener l'eau dans leurs châteaux, donc ce n'était pas un problème pour nous. - La nourriture - les enfants étaient tellement fatigués à la fin de la journée que nous nous en sommes tenus au buffet, ce qui est devenu assez lassant au bout de quelques jours. La nourriture semblait toujours la même et c'était juste correct. Il manque vraiment un restaurant/snack bar plus proche de la plage/piscine Les gens se plaignent des moustiques, mais nous n'en avons vu qu'une dizaine pendant toute la semaine. Ce n'était pas un problème pour nous. Dans l'ensemble, des vacances vraiment merveilleuses et à un prix très raisonnable ! Les enfants n'auraient pas pu s'amuser davantage et nous avons également passé un très bon moment.

Great holiday at a great price! We spent a week here with our two children 4 & 6 in mid November. We had a really relaxing and fun time. Pros: - The resort was really beautiful and lush. - Lots of activities for the kids. There were two kids shows (superheros, Disney) and they were well done and our kids really enjoyed it. - The room was better than I expected; the balconies are very small. - The water park was really great, but in retrospect our kids would have still had fun at a resort that didn't have it, probably because the pool was so warm and we were able to spend hours and hours in it. - The xcalacoco shows were really neat and it was fun that they took place in different locations each time. A bit scary for the 4 year old though. - The kids LOVED all the animals. - Walking around the resort was always interesting. Cons - only 2: - The beach - sitting on it was beautiful and great, but going into the water was a bit of a challenge. Rocky at the entrance. But our kids are really into going into the ocean and they loved playing on the beach and bringing the water to their castles so it wasn't an issue for us. - The food - the kids were so tired at the end of the day that we stuck mostly to the buffet and it grew pretty tiresome after a few days. The food always seemed the same and it was just OK. The resort is really missing a restaurant/snack bar closer to the beach/pool People complain about the mosquitoes but we only saw about 10 of them the whole week. It wasn't an issue for us. All-in-all a really wonderful holiday and at a very reasonable price! The kids could not have enjoyed themselves more and we had a very enjoyable time too.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Palatial Resort

Si vous aimez la plage, ce n'est pas l'endroit idéal pour vous. Par temps calme, l'eau est au mieux d'un gris trouble et par temps venteux, il y a beaucoup d'algues sur le rivage. Ils font de leur mieux pour garder la plage propre. En ce qui concerne les travaux de construction et de réparation en cours, ils devraient être terminés sous peu. Le complexe est magnifique. C'était mon deuxième voyage dans ce complexe cette année et j'ai remarqué de nombreuses améliorations. Lors de la réservation, e [... lire plus]ssayez d'obtenir une vue sur l'océan afin que votre chambre ne soit pas face à la mangrove... l'odeur de l'eau stagnante et beaucoup de moustiques. Vous avez tendance à rester dans votre chambre et à ne pas vous aventurer sur le balcon. Recommandez 23% de deet dans votre répulsif. A part cela, les chambres sont superbes ainsi que le service. Prévoyez de prendre quelques kilos... la nourriture est excellente. Il y a plusieurs piscines au choix, donc si vous n'aimez pas la plage, c'est un endroit qui pourrait vous convenir.

If your a beach person this is not the place for you. On a calm day the water is a murky grey color at best and on a windy day there is a lot of seaweed on the shore. They do there best to keep it clean. As far as the construction / repairs that have been ongoing this should be finish shortly. The resorts looks amazing. This was my second trip to this resort this year and I've notice many improvements. When booking try to get ocean view so that your room doesn't face the mangroves...the odor of stagnant water and lots of mosquitoes. You tend to stay in your room and don't venture out to the balcony. Recommend 23 percent deet in your repellent. Other than that the rooms are great as well as the service. Plan to gain a few pounds ...food is great. There are a number of pools to chose from so if your not a beach person the could be a place for you.

Grand Palladium Colonial: Le meilleur !

C'est la deuxième fois que je viens au Grand Palladium ! J'adore cet endroit ! La jungle, les petits animaux mignons partout ! Le personnel est formidable et la piscine d'eau salée sur l'océan est un coin de paradis. C'est grand, mais c'est génial parce qu'on ne s'ennuie jamais, il y a toujours quelque chose de nouveau à voir On ne s'ennuie jamais, il y a toujours quelque chose de nouveau à voir et une surprise à chaque coin de rue.

The best! This is my second time at the Grand Palladium! Love this place! The jungle-the cute little animals everywhere! The staff are amazing and the saltwater pool on the ocean is a piece of heaven. It is large, but that is awesome because you never get Bored, always something new to see and a surprise around every corner.

Riu Palace Riviera Maya: Très belle

Design et décor très majestueux. Pas si grand qu'on s'y perd. Tout (plage, piscine, hall, bars) est à moins de 2 minutes à pied de votre chambre. La structure montre un peu son âge ici et là (si vous regardez de près). Les chambres (les nôtres) sont belles et spacieuses (nous avions un coin salon en contrebas et un balcon complet). La piscine est nettoyée et vérifiée tous les jours, mais elle présente une pellicule huileuse vers la fin de la journée... l'eau est à environ 80 degrés F. La plage e [... lire plus]st très large, avec du sable blanc et doux, et pas de corail. L'eau de mer était un peu agitée pendant que nous étions là (Nov 2015) mais très nageable, à environ 80 deg. ... Une petite bande d'algues s'échouait chaque jour, mais rien d'inquiétant. Je reviendrais sans aucun doute dans ce centre de villégiature. Les seuls petits points négatifs seraient ; l'odeur de moisi dans la chambre, et une odeur nauséabonde (eau grise) provenant de sous les refroidisseurs de nourriture dans le buffet... pas un deal breaker.

Very Nice Very stately design & decor. Not so big that you get lost. Everything (beach, pool, lobby, bars) is within a 2 min walk from wherever your room is. The structure is showing its age somewhat here and there (if you look close). The rooms (our) are nice, and spacious (we had a step down sitting area & full balcony). The pool gets cleaned & checked every day, but does show an oily film near the end of the day... the water is approx 80 deg F. The beach is very wide, with soft white sand, and no coral. Sea water was a little stirred up while we were there (Nov 2015) but very swimmable, at around 80 deg. ... A small band of seaweed would wash up every day but nothing to worry about. I would for sure return to this resort. The only slight negatives would be; the musty room smell, and a foul smell (grey water) coming from under the food coolers in the buffet... not a deal breaker.

Bahia Principe Explore Akumal: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

La propriété est magnifique ! Le personnel est très aimable et serviable. Les chambres sont très belles et propres. L'eau est un peu rocailleuse, mais la plage est parfaite. Richardo s'est occupé de nous à notre arrivée et a organisé toutes nos réservations pour le dîner. Il a fait tout son possible pour que nous puissions aller dans les restaurants de notre choix.

Amazing resort! The property is gorgeous! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and clean. The water is somewhat rockie, however, the beach is perfect. Richardo was the one who took care of us when we first arrived and set up all of our dinner reservations. He went out of his way toke sure we were able to go to the restaurants of our choice.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Décevant

C'était la première fois que j'allais dans un hôtel tout compris et j'ai été déçu. La moitié du complexe était en cours de rénovation et mon groupe a été déplacé (sans qu'on nous le dise) dans une autre partie du complexe qui ne faisait pas partie du terrain principal. Les vacanciers qui séjournaient dans cette partie partageaient le site avec le personnel qui y vivait. En outre, des problèmes de sécurité ont entraîné un changement de chambre. Une forte odeur de rance indiquait que nous étions à [... lire plus] proximité des réservoirs d'eaux usées. La nourriture était correcte, avec très peu d'options saines et/ou végétariennes. Le personnel était amical et respectueux, mais lent à répondre aux demandes. La plage et la piscine étaient superbes.

Disappointing This was my first time at an All-Inclusive and it was disappointing. Half the resort was being renovated and my party was relocated (without us being told) to another part of the resort that was not part of the main grounds. The vacationers staying in this section shared the site with staff that were living there. As well there were security issues resulting in a room change. There was a strong rancid smell which indicated that we were adjacent to the Sewage Reservoirs. Food was fair with very limited healthy and/or vegetarian options. Staff was friendly and respectful but slow to respond to requests. Beach and pool areas were awesome.

L'enregistrement a été un jeu d'enfant, une belle grande chambre, des lits vraiment confortables, de grandes salles de bains propres avec un miroir de maquillage, un sèche-cheveux, un panier rempli d'articles de première nécessité et des serviettes de bain de taille normale. Les peignoirs blancs, les pantoufles, le bol de fruits frais sont autant de petites attentions. Notre réfrigérateur était toujours rempli quotidiennement de bières, de boissons gazeuses, de bouteilles d'eau et, à notre grand [... lire plus]e surprise, de petits sacs de croustilles et de petites barres de chocolat. C'est la première fois que je viens au Mexique, je reviendrai sans hésiter et je recommande ce centre de villégiature. Deux pouces en l'air. La nourriture était également excellente, pas besoin de réserver des chariots car les buffets étaient toujours très variés et il y avait même un espace santé.

So much more than expected Check in a breeze, nice large room,really comfortable beds,large clean bathrooms with makeup mirror hair dryer basket full of essentials and full size towels. Nice added touch, white bathrobes slippers,bowl full of fresh fruit yummy. Our fridge was always refilled daily with beer ,pop,water bottles and to our surprise small bags of potato chips and small chocolate bars nice touch. First time in Mexico and would definitely return and recommend this resort. Two thumbs up. Also food was excellent no need to book al a carts as the buffets always had a lot a variety and even a healthy area.

Amazing Resort Right in the heart of Playa del Carmen and 5th Avenue! Comfortable, intimate resort with exceptional staff who provide exceptional service. Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Station balnéaire zen !

Le complexe est très propre, récemment rénové, avec un joli jacuzzi sur votre propre balcon. Merveilleux cours de yoga avec des maîtres du yoga. Ils sont très gentils et doux. Le personnel est très amical, poli et efficace.

Zen Resort! The resort is very clean, newly renovated with nice hot tub on your own balcony. Wonderful yoga classes with Masters of yoga. They are very kind and sweet. The staff is very friendly, polite and efficient.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Révision

J'ai beaucoup apprécié mon séjour. C'était la première fois que je venais au Mexique et je reviendrai certainement. J'ai trouvé le personnel sympathique et serviable. J'ai été impressionnée par le fait que les salles de bains étaient toujours propres et sentaient bon.

Occidental at Xcaret Destination: VOYAGE EXTRAORDINAIRE !

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Lieu de villégiature préféré

Service de premier ordre, très propre, très satisfait. Premier voyage ici en 2012 et n'a jamais cessé de penser à cette station. Nous avons voyagé à d'autres stations dans la région, mais a trouvé ce notre préféré. Depuis qu'ils ont rénové, il y a plus de piscines et ne jamais chercher une chaise ouverte car vous aurez beaucoup d'options. La meilleure plage, la meilleure nourriture et le meilleur hébergement. Nous recommandons le dîner-croisière du bateau pirate Jolly Roger pour une excursion et [... lire plus] les ruines qui ont été découvertes en 1995 (Ek Balam). Nous prévoyons d'emmener au moins 50 personnes pour une grande fête de famille.

Favorite Resort Top notch service, very clean, very satisfied. First trip here in 2012 and never stopped thinking about this resort. We traveled to other resorts in area but found this our favorite. Since they renovated there are more pools and never looking for an open chair as you will have many options. Best beach, food and accommodations. We recommend Jolly Roger Pirate Ship dinner cruise for an excursion and the Ruins that were discovered in 1995 (Ek Balam) Can't wait to return in another year. We plan on bringing a total of at least 50 folks for a grand family celebration.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances au Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach. Nous avons adoré le terrain et la plage où l'on peut faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba à quelques mètres du rivage. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le café, le Health Bar (délicieux smoothies) et le Ice Cream Bar. Tout le personnel était si amical et serviable. Nous planifierons certainement d'autres vacances au Grand Sirenis.

Amazing Resort Had a Great Vacation at Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach, Loved the grounds, the beach had amazing snorkeling just a few feet away from the shore. We really loved the Coffee shop, Health Bar (Delicious Smoothies) and the Ice Cream Bar. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful. Will definitely plan another vacation with The Grand Sirenis.

Akumal Bay Beach and Spa Resort: Meilleure plage, meilleur yoga et meilleur personnel

Mon mari et moi étions allés dans ce complexe 5 fois avant la rénovation. La dernière fois, c'était il y a 5 ans. Il est maintenant très beau - le hall principal est entièrement ouvert avec une élégance très discrète - un mobilier simple avec de jolis accessoires. Les restaurants sont tous décorés avec goût. Les chambres sont réparties dans 4 bâtiments avec une piscine devant chacun d'eux. Les chambres sont extrêmement grandes mais le mobilier est simple. Les lits et les oreillers sont très conf [... lire plus]ortables. Pas de commode, seulement des étagères dans les placards. Immense douche à l'italienne. Pas d'intimité dans la salle de bain et la douche. Télévision, cafetière et WIFI dans la chambre. Patio de bonne taille, nous avions un jacuzzi et 2 chaises. Nous étions dans le bldg. 1 que nous avons trouvé très calme et proche de la plage. Nous avons adoré la nourriture du buffet. Nous n'avons pas mangé dans les restaurants ni au snack bar. Joli bar à sushis avec vue sur l'océan. Superbe bar principal ouvert où ils avaient leurs divertissements en soirée. Pas de spectacles de théâtre. Le studio de yoga se trouvait à proximité du bâtiment 4. J'ai adoré le fait que le bâtiment soit entièrement en bois, très ouvert, et que la salle du studio soit face à l'océan. Les instructeurs étaient formidables. J'ai assisté à un cours d'introduction au hatha yoga qui était excellent. Tous les accessoires étaient disponibles. Je n'ai pas aimé le fait que lorsque nous sommes arrivés et que nous pensions que le portier allait nous conduire à notre chambre, il s'est avéré que c'était le personnel qui essayait de nous vendre l'achat de leur Fidelity Club, ce qui ne nous intéressait pas. Nous avons adoré tout le personnel qui travaille si dur avec toujours un sourire - les femmes de chambre, les jardiniers, les barmans (Wilbur est le meilleur), les serveurs (Marcelino est le meilleur) et beaucoup d'autres dont je ne me souviens pas des noms. Enfin, la belle plage, la merveilleuse plongée en apnée, le sanctuaire des tortues à l'une des extrémités de la plage et la courte marche vers le village d'Akumal. Je crains qu'avec l'énorme Secrets Resort voisin et les groupes interminables de snorkellers nageant avec les tortues, la région ne soit ruinée dans les années à venir.

Best beach, Yoga and Staff My husband and I had been to this resort 5 times before the renovation. The last time being 5 yrs. ago. It is now very beautiful- the main lobby is all open with a very understated elegance- simple furnishings with lovely accessories. The restaurants are all tastefully decorated. The rooms are housed in 4 buildings with a pool in front of each. The rooms are extremely large but simple furniture. Beds and pillows so comfortable. No dressers, shelves in cupboard only. Huge walk in shower. No privacy in bathroom and shower area. T.V., coffee maker and WIFI in room. Good sized patio which we had- a hot tub and 2 chairs. We were in bldg. one which we found very quiet and close to the beach. We loved the food at the buffet. Did not eat in restaurants or snack bar. Nice sushi bar overlooking the ocean. Great open main bar where they had their evening entertainment. No theatre shows. The Yoga studio was close to building 4. Loved that the building was all wood, very open, the studio room was facing the ocean. The instructors were amazing. I attended a introductory hatha yoga class which was excellent. They had all the props available for use. I did not like that when we arrived and thought we were going to be brought to our room by the porter it turned out it was staff that was trying to sell us on buying into their Fidelity Club which we were not interested in. We loved all the staff that work so hard with always a smile- the maids, gardeners, bartenders(Wilbur is the best), waiters(Marcelino is the best) and the many more that I don't remember their names. Lastly, the beautiful beach, the wonderful snorkelling, the turtle sanctuary at one end of the beach and the short walk in to the village of Akumal. Worried with the huge Secrets Resort next door and the endless groups of snorkellers swimming with the turtles the area will be ruined in years to come.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: C'était fabuleux !

L'hôtel était incroyable ! Le service et le professionnalisme des employés étaient les meilleurs que j'aie jamais vus. Ils n'attendent même pas de pourboire lorsqu'ils vous servent. Je recommande vivement cet hôtel à tout le monde ! La seule opinion négative que les gens pourraient avoir concerne la plage. Les gens doivent comprendre qu'il s'agit d'une zone de conservation pour les tortues de mer, donc cela ne m'a pas dérangé. L'emplacement n'est pas proche de quoi que ce soit, ce qui pourrait ê [... lire plus]tre un inconvénient pour les gens, mais il est vraiment proche de l'aéroport. Si vous prévoyez de ne pas quitter l'hôtel, c'est parfait ! La nourriture est également excellente, même si vous ne voulez pas attendre au restaurant, le buffet contient tout ce dont vous avez besoin.

It was fabulous! The hotel was amazing! The service and the professionalism of the employees was the best I have ever seen. They don't even expect a tip when they serve you. I would highly recommend this hotel for any one! The only negative opinion people could have is about the beach. People need to understand that it is a conservation area for sea turtles so I did not mind. The location is not near anything so that could be a con for people but it is really close to the airport. If you plan on not leaving the resort it is perfect! The food at the resort is amazing as well, even if you do not want to wait for a restaurant, the buffet has all you need.

Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya: Un centre de villégiature génial

Le complexe était très bien entretenu et propre. La nourriture était excellente et abondante. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très agréable et nous a aidés pour tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Il y avait beaucoup d'activités à faire tous les jours et des divertissements tous les jours, jour et nuit. Le temps était superbe, j'y retournerai certainement. Merci à Trip Central de m'avoir conseillé cet hôtel.

Awesome Resort The resort was very well maintained and clean. Food was great and plentiful. Hotel staff very pleasant people and helpful with everything we needed. There were plenty of activities to do there daily and entertainment everyday day and night. Weather was awesome, I will go again for sure. Thank you trip central for suggesting this resort.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Le seul point négatif de ce complexe, qui n'est pas de leur faute, est la plage. Le service est impeccable, le terrain est magnifique, les chambres sont très propres et la nourriture est absolument la meilleure que nous ayons jamais eue dans un complexe tout compris et nous en avons visité beaucoup. L'animation était très bonne.

Amazing Resort Only bad thing about this resort wich is not their fault was the beach. Impecable service, beautiful grounds, room were very clean and the food was absolutly the best we ever had at any all inclusive resorts and we've been to manny. The animation was very good.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: OK Resort

La plage n'est pas belle du tout, elle ressemblait à une plage ici. Les chambres sont démodées, il y avait de la moisissure dans notre salle de bain. La nourriture était excellente, le personnel était vraiment gentil. Je suis content de ne pas avoir payé le prix fort. Il n'y a pas de bar dans la piscine, mais il y a des bars près de la piscine.

The beach is not nice at all, looked like beach here. The rooms are out dated, there was mildew on our bathroom. The food was excellent, staff were really nice. Glad I did not pay full price. There is no swim up bar in pool, but has bars close to pool.
