Catalonia Yucatan: QUELLE SEMAINE !

c'était notre premier voyage au Mexique et ce ne sera certainement pas le dernier. La région était vraiment magnifique et le complexe hôtelier offrait un excellent rapport qualité-prix. Nous étions dans une communauté fermée qui comprenait d'autres complexes, des condos et des maisons privées ainsi qu'une marina, un petit village et des dauphins et des lions de mer. Notre chambre a été rénovée et offre une vue magnifique sur la piscine. Les chambres étaient un peu désuètes mais impeccables et po [... lire plus]ur nous, cela fait toute la différence. Le temps a été clément, avec un après-midi de pluie. Pedro, notre barman au bar de la piscine, était très sympathique. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

OH WHAT A WEEK ! it was our first trip to Mexico and it will definitely not be the last. The area was really beautiful and the resort was terrific value for the money. We were in a gated community that included other resorts, condos and private homes as well as a marina, small village and dolphins and sea lions. Our room was updated to a wonderful poolside view. The rooms were a little dated but spotless and to us that makes all the difference. The weather was good, one afternoon of rain. Pedro our bartender at the poolside bar was so friendly. Would definitely return.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Superbe station, excellent personnel, excellente nourriture

Tout est parfait, sauf les lits en pierre de silex. Le personnel nous a donné de la mousse pour les adoucir, ce qui a aidé. N'oubliez pas la crème solaire. Ils font payer un bras et une jambe sur le resort Les chambres commencent à montrer leur âge.

Great resort great staff great food Everything is great except for the flintstone style bedrock beds. The staff gave us some foam to soften it which helped. Don't forget the sunscreen. They charge an arm and a leg on the resort The rooms are starting to show their age.

Royalton Hideaway Riviera Cancun: Superbe Resort !!!!

L'hôtel était extraordinaire ! Le personnel de service était toujours disponible et s'est surpassé ! La nourriture était également excellente (ce que vous n'auriez jamais entendu de ma part dans les hôtels précédents). Le seul inconvénient que nous avons vu est que l'hôtel manquait de divertissement de toute sorte ! Il n'y avait rien qui se passait, même pendant la journée, pour vous donner envie de rester et de ne pas vous aventurer dehors, même la musique à la piscine pour adultes était moins  [... lire plus]que souhaitable ! A part cela, c'était un très bon hôtel.

Great Resort!!!! The hotel was amazing! The service staff was always readily available and went above and beyond! The food was also great(which you would never hear that from me from previous resorts) The only down fall that we saw was the hotel was lacking in entertainment of any kind! There was nothing going on even during the day to make you want to stay and not venture out, even the music at the adult pool was less than desirable! Other than that it was a great hotel.

Barcelo Maya Colonial: Deuxième visite

C'était notre deuxième visite au Barcelo Resort, nous y retournerons probablement l'année prochaine car il a tout ce dont nous avons besoin. Choix de nourriture, service et divertissement. Le nouveau centre commercial et les nouveaux restaurants étaient excellents. Un excellent complément à ce qu'ils avaient déjà.

Second visit This was our second visit to Barcelo Resort, we will likely go there again next year as it has everything we require. Food choices, service and entertainment . The new mall and new restaurants were exellent. A great addition to what they already had.

Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda: Dans l'ensemble, un bon centre de villégiature

L'hôtel et la nourriture sont bons. Le service au restaurant de steaks doit être amélioré. Le serveur n'était pas très bon et le steak n'était pas bien cuit. Nous avons trouvé le complexe trop dispersé. Par exemple, la zone de la plage est très éloignée de la zone Gardenview.

Overall, a good resort Hotel and food good. Service at steak restaurant needs improvement. The waiter was not very good, plus steak was not cooked properly. We found the resort too spread out. For example the beach area is a long way from the Gardenview area.

Grand Sirenis Mayan Beach: Une grande expérience

Excellente nourriture, excellent temps, excellent service, excellent voyage. Je suis prêt à y retourner à tout moment. Une fois le long voyage de l'aéroport à l'hôtel terminé, on vous accueillait dans le hall avec une boisson et les boissons n'arrêtaient pas d'arriver. Centre de villégiature convivial et sûr. J'ai rencontré beaucoup de gens extraordinaires venant du monde entier.

Great Experience Great food, Great weather, Great service, Great trip. Prepared to go back anytime. Once you got over the long trip from airport to hotel you were met at the lobby with a drink and the drinks kept coming. Friendly, safe resort. Met lots of amazing people from all over the world.

Selection Riviera Cancun: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Nous avons voyagé avec notre fille de 5 mois pour la première fois et avons choisi ce complexe pour son ambiance familiale et ses équipements. Même si nous n'avions voyagé qu'en couple, le séjour aurait été tout aussi spécial ! Le personnel était formidable et la nourriture incroyable ! L'attention portée aux détails et l'attention particulière du personnel nous ont assuré que nous reviendrons à l'avenir dans ce complexe ou dans l'un de ses autres complexes.

Amazing resort We travelled with our 5 month old daughter for the first time and chose this resort for the family friendly atmosphere and amenities. Even if we were traveling only as a couple it would have been just as special! The staff was so amazing and the food was incredible!! The attention to details and special attention and care from the staff have assured that we will be returning to this resort or one of its sister resorts in the future.

l'hôtel le service de ménage la nourriture le paysage les équipements tous excellents la chambre vue sur l'océan comme demandé à l'arrivée la longue plage de sable bonne pour les promenades mais pas recommandée pour la baignade. à mon avis l'eau est trouble et il y a trop d'algues

Longue attente en permanence... Enregistrement, dans tous les restaurants, même au buffet. Il faut vérifier le numéro et le nom de la chambre. Le personnel est très sympathique mais le spectacle du soir et la nourriture ne sont pas très bons, à déconseiller pour le prix

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Une escapade hivernale parfaite

Tout d'abord, les chambres étaient parfaites. Nous avons fait des folies et pris la suite jacuzzi sur le toit et nous avons fini par avoir notre patio privé sur le toit avec un autre couple qui était venu avec nous. Cela a donné lieu à des fêtes privées très amusantes. C'était aussi l'endroit idéal pour s'évader après la seule journée pluvieuse que nous ayons eue - on ne peut pas avoir froid dans un jacuzzi. Nous avons eu un jour sans eau chaude dans notre chambre, ce qui incluait les jacuzzis. [... lire plus] C'est notre seule critique à moitié négative des chambres, mais je suis sûre que ce n'est pas un problème courant. Sian Ka'an était à une courte distance de la plage en navette. C'est la première fois que nous séjournons dans un endroit qui n'est pas en bord de mer, mais cela ne nous a pas vraiment affectés. Il y avait seulement des files d'attente pour les navettes s'il était sur le point de pleuvoir. La nourriture était excellente dans tous les complexes. Le restaurant international de Sian Ka'an proposait des portions relativement petites (par rapport aux autres), mais son steak était l'un des meilleurs que j'aie jamais mangés. Le restaurant italien situé près de la plage était lui aussi incroyable - nous nous sommes presque rassasiés du bar à salades avant que nos repas n'arrivent. L'un des meilleurs aspects du séjour à Sian Ka'an était la plage privée. Il se trouvait dans la meilleure partie du front de mer, à proximité d'un bar de plage amusant (bien que petit) où les employés aimaient vraiment aider les clients à se détendre ou à faire la fête.

Perfect winter getaway Starting with the rooms, they were perfect. We splurged and got the roof-top jacuzzi suite and ended up having our private rooftop patio conjoined with another couple that came with us. That led to some pretty fun private parties. This was also the perfect place to escape to after the one rainy day we had - you can't be cold in a jacuzzi. We had one day without hot water in our room, which included the jacuzzis. That was our only half-negative review of the rooms, though I'm sure it is not a common issue. Sian Ka'an was a short shuttle ride from the beach. It was the first time we've stayed somewhere that wasn't beachfront, but it really didn't affect us much. There were only lines waiting for the shuttles if it were about to rain. The food across the resorts was great. Sian Ka'an's international restaurant had relatively small portions (compared to the rest of them) but was some of the best steak I've ever had. The Italian restaurant closer to the beach was incredible as well - we almost filled up on the salad bar before our meals came. One of the best parts of staying at Sian Ka'an was the private beach area. It was in the best part of the oceanfront, close to a fun (though small) beach bar where those working it really enjoyed helping the guests relax or party.

El Dorado Seaside Palms: Exceptionnel !

C'était notre deuxième voyage à l'EDSS. Le complexe n'a fait que s'améliorer depuis notre séjour il y a sept ans. La nourriture est exceptionnelle. Nous apprécions beaucoup de ne pas avoir à réserver nos repas. Nous avons bénéficié d'un forfait anniversaire gratuit comprenant un dîner aux chandelles sur la plage et un petit-déjeuner au lit le lendemain matin. Le personnel s'est montré très accommodant à l'égard de toutes nos demandes. Nous avions une suite en bord de mer qui était impeccable. No [... lire plus]us avons fini par acheter un forfait vacances de 30 semaines et nous sommes impatients de retourner à l'EDSS et d'essayer les autres hôtels et centres de villégiature Karisma.

Exceptional! This was our second trip to EDSS. The resort has only gotten better since we were there seven years ago. The food was exceptional. We really like not having to make meal reservations. We received a complimentary anniversary package which included a candlelit dinner on the beach and breakfast in bed the next morning. The staff was very accomodating to all of our requests. We had a beachfront suite that was kept spotless. We ended up purchasing a 30 week Vacation Package and are looking forward to returning to EDSS and also trying the other Karisma resorts and hotels.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: Sian Ka'an est un lieu de vacances extraordinaire !

L'hôtel était absolument magnifique. Mon mari et moi avons passé des vacances à la même station en mai 2014, et nous sommes retournés ce Jan/Feb 2015 à nouveau, et nous n'avons pas été déçus. L'hôtel est propre et charmant, les terrains sont spectaculaires, le personnel est parmi les meilleurs que nous ayons jamais connu, la nourriture était fraîche, savoureuse et la variété était abondante. J'ai apprécié les cours de yoga au centre Tao, tandis que mon mari s'est adonné au golf. J'ai eu le meill [... lire plus]eur massage de ma vie au centre Tao, meilleur que tout ce que j'ai connu chez moi à Toronto. J'ai pu me rendre à pied au cours de yoga chaque matin - environ 20 minutes de marche (vous pouvez prendre la navette si vous le souhaitez) - et le cours de yoga était suivi d'un cours de méditation ou d'un cours de zumba. Les instructeurs de yoga sont excellents et ne s'adressent pas qu'aux enfants. Il s'agit d'un complexe réservé aux 18 ans et plus, ce que nous avons apprécié. Nous avions accès aux trois autres complexes - Tulum, Coba et Akumel - lorsque nous voulions faire la fête. Il y a également un centre appelé Hacienda qui abrite une discothèque après 23h30, ainsi que diverses autres activités et boutiques pendant la journée. Si vous n'avez pas envie de participer aux excursions proposées par les agences de voyage, vous pouvez prendre la "collectiva" ou le bus pour Tulum ou Playa Del Carmen (ou ailleurs) et cela ne coûte que 3 USD par personne (demandez au chauffeur de la navette de vous déposer près de la route dans la direction que vous souhaitez emprunter). Nous avons visité la plage de Tulum et nous nous sommes assis à un bar en terrasse sur la plage de sable, nous avons mangé des tacos avec des piments habanero frais dans du jus de citron vert frais, et quelques bières ... c'était le paradis. Depuis notre arrivée à la maison le 6 février, nous essayons déjà de déterminer quand nous pourrons y retourner. Si vous réservez une suite supérieure, vous bénéficiez d'un service de majordome ! Demandez Arturo, il a été extraordinaire ! Notre seule déception a été de voir que les autres voyageurs ne donnaient pas de pourboire au personnel. Ces personnes ont travaillé dur pour vous faire plaisir, alors mettez la main à la poche et montrez votre appréciation... ne soyez pas un el-cheapo !

Sian Ka'an is an amazing place to vacation! The hotel was absolutely beautiful. My husband and I vacationed at the very same resort in May of 2014, and we went back this Jan/Feb 2015 again, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is clean and lovely, the grounds are spectacular, the staff is some of the best we've ever experienced, the food was fresh, tasty and the variety was plentiful. I enjoyed the yoga classes at the Tao Centre while my husband enjoyed the golf. I had the best massage of my life at the Tao Centre, better than anything I've ever experienced at home in Toronto. I was able to walk to the yoga class each morning - about a 20 minute walk (you can take the shuttle if you want to) - and the yoga class was followed by either a meditation class or a zumba class. The yoga instructors are top notch, not just kids. This is an 18 and over resort, and we appreciated that fact. We had access to the other three resorts - Tulum, Coba and Akumel when we wanted to party. There is also a centre called Hacienda which houses a disco after 11:30pm, plus various other activities and shops during the day. If you are not inclined to take the tours offered by the travel companies, you can take the "collectiva" or the bus to Tulum or Playa Del Carmen (or wherever) and it only costs $3USD pp. (Ask the shuttle driver to drop you off close to the road in the direction you wish to travel). We visited the beach in Tulum and sat at a patio bar right on the sandy beach, had some tacos with fresh habanero peppers in fresh lime juice, and a couple of beers ... it was heaven. Since arriving home February 6th, we are already trying to figure out when we can get back there. If you book a superior suite, it comes with butler service!!! Ask for Arturo, he was amazing!!! Our only disappointment was to see that other travelers were not tipping the staff. These people worked their butts off to please you, so please reach into your pocket and show your appreciation ... don't be an el-cheapo!!

The Fives Beach Hotel and Residences Playa Del Carmen: Station familiale

L'hôtel était magnifique, ils ont préservé les zones d'arbres tout autour de l'hôtel où vivent les singes araignées qui se balancent d'un arbre à l'autre. Le personnel était très sympathique et gentil. Surtout le personnel du bar ! Il y avait plusieurs options pour les repas qui étaient tous incroyables, de la présentation au goût, la nourriture était exceptionnelle. La plage était assez éloignée de notre chambre, alors préparez un sac et prévoyez d'y passer la journée. Comme je n'ai pas d'enfants, c'était un peu irritant et je chercherai dorénavant des hôtels réservés aux adultes

Family resort Resort was beautiful they preserved the tree areas all around the resort which the spider monkeys live in and swing from tree to tree. The staff were all very friendly an kind. Especially the bar staff! There were several options for dinning which was all amazing from presentation to taste the food was exceptional. The beach was quite a walk from our room so pack a bag an plan to be down there for the day. Although the resort was beautiful it was over populated with infants and new borns very family orientated. As I do not have children this got a little irritating and I will be looking for adults only from now on

Dreams Riviera Cancun: Un lieu de villégiature exceptionnel et un personnel formidable !!!!

C'était notre deuxième séjour au Dreams Riviera Cancun et c'était aussi bien que le premier. L'hôtel est magnifique et pas trop grand. Le terrain est immaculé et le service est impeccable ! Je reviendrai certainement à l'avenir

Amazing Resort & Awesome Staff!!!! This was our second time at Dreams Riviera Cancun and it was just as great as the first. The hotel is beautiful and not too big. The grounds are immaculate and the service is impeccable! I will definitely return in the future

Catalonia Playa Maroma: Pourrait être meilleure

Mon mari et moi venons de rentrer aujourd'hui et l'hôtel était correct. Nous avions les chambres privilégiées mais nous aurions vraiment aimé ne pas gaspiller notre argent en les améliorant. Nous sommes arrivés à l'hôtel à 11 heures. Avec les chambres privilèges, vous pouvez vous enregistrer plus tôt, mais nous n'avons pas eu de chambre avant 15 heures. Nous voyagions avec un enfant de 3 ans qui était vraiment fatigué, mais nous avons fait de notre mieux. Nous avons trouvé des toilettes et nous  [... lire plus]nous sommes changés. La plage était magnifique, c'est indéniable. La piscine était froide tous les jours mais une fois qu'on y était, ça allait. La nourriture n'était pas mauvaise, ce n'est pas de la cuisine maison mais ça va. Le problème, c'est que tout était froid, à moins que vous ne demandiez à ce qu'on vous le prépare devant vous. Les plats à la carte étaient très bons. Je ne peux pas me prononcer sur le personnel car personne ne s'est vraiment occupé de nous. Il y avait tant de francophones autour d'eux. L'hôtel semble vraiment s'adresser aux Français. Même toutes nos informations étaient en français. Je dirais probablement aux gens que c'est un bon endroit mais je n'y retournerai pas moi-même.

Could be better My husband and I just got back today and the hotel was ok. We had the privileged rooms but really wish we hadn't wasted our money upgrading. We arrived at the hotel at 11am. With privilege you get early check in, however we didn't get a room until 3pm. We were travelling with a 3 year old who was really tired but we made the best of it. We found a toilet and got changed. The beach was amazing, no disputing that. The pool was cold each day but once you were in it was ok. The food wasn't bad, it's not home cooking but ok. The problem was, everything was cold unless you got them to prepare right in front of you. The "a la crates" we're very good. Staff I can't say one way or the other as no one really bothered with us. So many French speaking people had them all around them. It really does seem to cater to the French. Even all our information was in french. I would probably tell people it's a good place to go but won't return myself.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Ce sera un lieu de villégiature extraordinaire !

La nourriture, les services, les divertissements, la salle de sport et les chambres sont tous excellents ! Je n'hésiterais pas à recommander cet hôtel à tout le monde. Inconvénients : il y a encore des endroits en construction et la plage a besoin d'être nettoyée plus souvent des algues. A part cela, c'était fantastique.

Will be an amazing resort! The food, services, entertainment, gym, rooms are all great! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Downsides: still spots that are under construction and the beach needs to be cleared more often from seaweed. Other than that, it was fantastic.

Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites: Grand centre de villégiature

Nous avons séjourné ici pour la troisième fois et nous nous sommes régalés comme d'habitude. C'était bien de voir quelques changements comme le casino et le Star Cafe. La nourriture au buffet était incroyable, les cartes à la carte pourraient être un peu modifiées. Trip Central a rendu le processus sans effort, c'est le voyage le plus facile que j'ai jamais réservé. Notre agent Doug a fourni un service extraordinaire. Notre représentant Transat au centre de villégiature était un peu pressant, il [... lire plus] nous a appelés (2) matins de suite à 8h15 pour réserver des excisions. A part cela, c'était un voyage extraordinaire.

Great Resort We stayed here for the 3rd time and enjoyed our self as usual. It was nice to see some changes like the Casino and the Star Cafe. The Food at the Bufffet was amazing, the a la cartes can use a bit of a change though. Trip Central made the process effortless, this was the easiest trip I ever booked. Our Agent Doug provided amazing service. Our Transat rep at the resort was a bit pushy, he called us (2) mornings in a row at 8:15 to book excisions. Other then that an amazing trip.

Royalton Riviera Cancun Resort and Spa: Le magnifique Royalton contemporain

Le Royalton Riviera Cancun. C'est impressionnant à regarder. Les bâtiments sont regroupés les uns à côté des autres, il n'y a donc pas beaucoup de marche à faire, il y a des piscines partout ! La chapelle de mariage est très unique, à voir absolument même si vous ne vous y mariez pas. La piscine de galets en contrebas est jolie mais rustique, en rupture avec le reste du style contemporain de ce complexe. La nourriture est fondamentalement de premier ordre, les chefs travaillent dur ici ! La qual [... lire plus]ité des chambres est très bonne, l'excellente baignoire et la double douche à effet de pluie sont une surprise. The Beautiful Contemporary Royalton The Royalton Riviera Cancun.Wow. Stunning to look at. The buildings are clustered close together,so not a lot of walking to be done.Pools everywhere! Wedding chapel very unique,a must see even if you aren't getting married there. The pebble pool below pretty yet rustic,a departure from the rest of the contemporary style of this resort.The food is basically top notch,chefs are working hard here! And the staff as well,all very very friendly.Room quality very good,excellent bath and double rain shower a surprise. A lot of swim-up pools,some rooms with jacuzzi on balcony or roof top rooms.Easy to get around ,food wonderful and the beach is so close to everything! Five stars or more!

Ocean Maya Royale: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !!!

Nous avons aimé l'emplacement de notre chambre. Le sol et l'hôtel ainsi que les chambres étaient très propres. Les divertissements étaient fantastiques, tant à la piscine que dans les spectacles du soir. Les restaurants à la carte étaient exceptionnels et le buffet était très varié. Le personnel était très serviable et amical. Mon seul bémol est l'absence de plage - nous ne pouvions pas faire de longues promenades le long de la plage. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour de deux semaines et nous le  [... lire plus]referions volontiers.

Amazing Resort!!! Liked the area of our room. The ground & the hotel and also the rooms were very clean.The entertainment was fantastic both at the pool & the evening shows. The a la carte restaurants were exceptional and had a good variety in the buffet.Employees were very helpful and friendly. My only beef is no beach - could not take long walks along the beach. Enjoyed our two weeks stay and would love to do it again.

Riu Palace Mexico: Meilleur centre de villégiature tout compris

Ce complexe est de loin le meilleur que j'aie jamais visité. Il était très propre, les terrains et l'hôtel sont magnifiques, le personnel est si amical et ne peut pas en faire assez pour vous, la nourriture était incroyable et les restaurants ont un superbe décor. La plage était parfaite, du beau sable blanc et beaucoup de palmiers matures pour un peu d'ombre si nécessaire. Nous y retournerons l'année prochaine.

Best All Inclusive Resort This resort is by far the best one that I have ever been to. It was very clean/spotless, the grounds and the hotel are beautiful, the staff are so friendly and can't do enough for you, the food was incredible and the restaurants have a great décor. The beach was perfect, beautiful white sand and lots of mature palm trees for some shade if needed. We will be going back next year.
