Iberostar Origin Playa Alameda: Belle station balnéaire

Il s'agit d'un beau complexe hôtelier. La nourriture est très bonne, le terrain est bien entretenu, les chambres sont grandes mais mériteraient d'être rénovées. Le personnel était formidable et les files d'attente peu nombreuses. Belle plage avec beaucoup de chaises. La piscine est correcte. Divertissement un peu faible. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon complexe et je n'aurais aucun problème à y retourner.

Nice resort This is a nice resort. The food was very good, the grounds were well kept, the rooms were large but could use updating. The staff was great and the line-ups were small. Nice beach with lots of chairs. Pool area OK . Entertainment a little weak. Overall a nice resort and would have no problems going back here.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Chaud et froid !

Nous avons visité Cuba à plusieurs reprises, mais nous n'avons jamais séjourné dans ce centre de villégiature. Nous sommes habitués aux lits durs. Ces lits étaient excellents. La chambre était spacieuse et très propre. La nourriture était supérieure à la norme. Cependant, l'excellent service habituel de Cuba n'était tout simplement pas là. Nous avons parfois attendu plus d'une demi-heure pour être servis, au bar ou aux repas. C'est décevant. Le lendemain, c'était fabuleux, puis de nouveau nul.

Hot and cold! We have visited Cuba many times but Never stayed at this resort. We are accustomed to hard beds. These beds were excellent. The room was spacious and very clean. Food was above standard. However, the usual excellent Cuba service was just not there. We waited for over half an hour at times for service, at the bar or at meals. Disappointing. The next day, it was fabulous, then back to lousy.

Paradisus Varadero: vaut son pesant d'or

nous avons choisi d'utiliser le "Royal Service". La première surprise étonnante a été à l'aéroport de Veradero où nous avons eu notre propre taxi jusqu'au resort plutôt que de partager le bus. le room service à la chambre était génial. Le bar, la piscine et le restaurant à la carte étaient tous formidables. Ils étaient réservés aux clients du service royal. Comme nous y sommes allés début décembre, ils n'étaient pas pleins et il n'y avait pas d'attente pour quoi que ce soit. La chambre était gra [... lire plus]nde. Un lit king size sur demande. Une douche extérieure était exotique et romantique. Une grande baignoire Jacuzzi était la bienvenue. Autour de la piscine, il y avait des "lits" avec des auvents. Pas assez, mais ils étaient formidables quand on en avait un. Le seul bémol est que la plage de la zone de service royal était entièrement en roche, mais la plage principale était en sable blanc. J'ai été un peu déçue par la plage. Je ne m'attendais pas à autant de rochers, mais beaucoup de sable blanc. La nourriture était correcte. Le bœuf n'était pas bon, mais il y avait beaucoup de poulet, de fruits de mer et d'options végétariennes. Le restaurant mexicain à la carte était le meilleur. C'était un séjour reposant et tranquille de 5 jours. Personne ne demandait de l'argent sur la plage. Ce n'était pas du tout commercial. Le personnel était très amical. Il voulait que tout soit parfait et s'assurait souvent que vous étiez heureux. J'y retournerais dans la seconde !

worth every penny we chose to use the "Royal Service". the first amazing surprise was at the Veradero airport we got our own taxi to the resort rather than sharing the bus. room service to the room was great. Hang the tag on the door and they deliver breakfast at a time you chose. the bar and the pool and the a la cart restaurant were all great. they were for royal service guests only. since we went in early December they were not at capacity and there was no waiting for anything. the room was big. king size bed on request. an outdoor shower was exotic and romantic. large Jacuzzi tub was welcome. around the pool were "beds" with canopies. not enough but they were great when you got one. hammocks hanging in the trees. A lovely long walkway to the ocean directly from the pool. maybe a 1 minute walk to the ocean. the only let down was the beach in the royal service area was all rock. but the main beach was white sand. I was a little disappointed in the beach. I wasn't expecting so many rocks. lots of white white sand though. food was okay. the beef was not good. but lots of chicken, seafood and vegetarian options. the Mexican a la carte restaurant was the best. it was a restful quiet 5 days away. no one asking for money on the beach. not commercialized at all. great friendly staff. they wanted everything to be perfect and they checked often to make sure you were happy. I would go back in a second!!

Valentin El Patriarca Varadero: Souriez !

Nous avons passé un séjour extraordinaire à l'Ocean Varadero. Les installations étaient propres, la plage était toujours magnifique et le personnel était toujours poli et accommodant. Le spectacle de Michael Jackson était gratuit mais nous aurions payé pour le voir. Le café Mikes était un excellent moyen de commencer la journée et les restaurants à la carte étaient de première qualité. Nous avons eu beaucoup de plaisir à nous lier d'amitié avec nos compagnons de voyage et le personnel du Lobby B [... lire plus]ar ; Justo avait du goosto, Nestor souriait magnifiquement et Jerry lançait des glaçons comme un pro. Mention spéciale aux autres employés du bar du hall, Anisleidy, Rosana, Karina, Josia, Julaimi, Dariarri, Dany et Katerine. Nos verres étaient toujours remplis et ils savaient tous comment faire un Sambuca enflammé ! De bons moments et de bons souvenirs. Merci pour ce moment spécial.

Smile! We had a most amazing time at Ocean Varadero. The facilities were clean,the beach was always stunning and the staff were always polite and accomodating. The Michael Jackson show was free but we would have paid money to see it. Mikes coffee bar was a great way to start off the day and the a la carte restaurants were first rate. We had a great time making friends with fellow travellors and the staff at the Lobby Bar; Justo had goosto, Nestor smiled magnificently and Jerry pitched ice cubes like a pro. Special mentions to the other lobby bar staff, Anisleidy,Rosana,Karina,Josia,Julaimi, Dariarri Dany and Katerine. Our glasses were always filled and they all knew how to make a flaming Sambuca! Great times and Great Memories. Thanks for a special time.

Grand Memories Varadero: Pas parfait mais peut l'être !

Le Riu est bien entretenu, presque immaculé, avec un beau terrain. Le personnel est très poli, amical et cherche à plaire. Les spectacles sont incroyables. La nourriture est très variée, bien que les lampes chauffantes ne fonctionnent pas très bien et qu'il fasse souvent froid dans les buffets. Les portions dans les restaurants étaient un peu petites, mais on peut commander deux portions. La plage est charmante, mais elle n'a pas le sable blanc et fin que l'on trouve sur les plages plus proches  [... lire plus]de Varadero. Le seul problème est que les horaires des vols au départ de Vancouver peuvent être fatigants, avec des arrivées et des départs au milieu de la nuit. Il vaut mieux être prudent à ce sujet. Vous devez payer un supplément pour garder votre chambre après 12 heures, soit 10 dollars par heure. La principale plainte concernait la section près de la discothèque qui était très bruyante, ce qui est le cas de la plupart des chambres normales. Je ne sais pas pourquoi ils ne peuvent pas éloigner la discothèque ou garder la porte fermée Les piscines ne sont pas chauffées, il est donc préférable d'y aller par temps chaud si c'est votre truc.

Not Perfect but can be! The Riu is well looked after almost immaculate with beautiful grounds. The staff is very polite,friendly and try to please. The shows are amazing. The food had great variety, although the heat lamps did not work very well and often cold at the buffets. The portions of the restaurants were somewhat small but then one can order 2 portions. The beach is lovely but not the white, fine powder sand that is on beaches closer to Varadero. The only problem is the flight times out of Vancouver can be tiring arriving and leaving in the middle of the night. Best to be careful on that. You have to pay extra to keep your room after 12 which is 10 dollars per hour. The main complaint was from section near the disco which was very loud which is most of the regular rooms. Not sure why they can't move the disco away or keep door closed? Also the pools are not heated so best go in hot weather if that is your thing.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Il devrait avoir 3 ou 4 étoiles au maximum

Les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées, si bien que si quelqu'un passe devant votre porte en parlant, vous pouvez tout entendre. Les salles de bains publiques sont généralement sales et délabrées. Elles ont vraiment besoin d'être rénovées. Le service était excellent et très amical ! La nourriture était excellente avec beaucoup de choix différents. Le restaurant japonais était notre préféré !

Should be 3 or 4 stars at the most Rooms are not sound proof so if someone walks by your door talking you can hear everything. Public bathrooms were usually dirty and run down. They definitely need an upgrade. The service was great and very friendly! The food was excellent with lots of different choices. The Japanese restaurant was our favorite!

Hotel Bella Costa: Mauvais estomac à cause de la nourriture

Le personnel était fantastique, toujours amical et serviable avec le sourire. Le terrain est magnifique. La piscine et la plage étaient agréables. La chambre était en dessous de la moyenne. La nourriture était très très mauvaise. J'ai eu des maux d'estomac pendant tout le voyage, alors que je n'ai habituellement pas de problèmes d'estomac.

Bad stomach because of the food The staff were fantastic, always friendly and helpful with a smile. The grounds were beautiful. The pool and beach were nice. The room was below average. The food was very very poor. I had an upset stomach the whole trip, and I usually do not have stomach problems.

Hotel Bella Costa: Station plus ancienne, mais personnel extraordinaire.

Oui, il s'agit d'un complexe plus ancien et nous en étions conscients. Le gros problème que nous avons encouragé était le bruit dans notre chambre en raison de l'animation pendant la journée et du spectacle le soir. Nous avons payé plus cher pour une vue sur l'océan et nous étions dans la chambre 246. Oui, nous avions une vue partielle sur l'océan, mais notre balcon faisait face à l'arrière de la scène pour les spectacles nocturnes. La chambre était en mauvais état. Moisissure au plafond, vieux  [... lire plus]meubles peints et salle de bain discutable. La nuit suivante, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre. On nous a dit que nous allions perdre notre vue sur l'océan. Pas de problème. Nous avons été placés dans la chambre 507. Ironiquement, elle donnait sur la route, le terrain de golf et l'océan. (côté loutre de la côte). Nous avons passé un bon moment à l'hôtel. La nourriture n'était pas la meilleure, mais nous avons toujours trouvé quelque chose que nous aimions. Allez manger une pizza à l'hôtel, n'importe où sur la plage. C'est délicieux !

Older resort, but amazing staff. Yes this is an older resort and we were aware of that. The big problem we encouraged was the noise in our room due to the entertainment during the day and from the show at night. We paid more for an ocean view and we were but in room 246. Yes we had a partial ocean view but our balconie was facing the back of the stage for the nightly entertainment. The room was in bad condition. Mold on the ceiling old painted furniture and a discussing bathroom. The next night we asked to change room. They told us we were going to loose out ocean view. No problem. We were placed in room 507. Ironically it had a view the road, golf course and then the ocean as well. (Otter side of the coast). We had a good time at the reaort. Food was not the best, but we always found something we liked. Go get a pizza at the reaort any ne'er the beach. Yumm!

chambre d'hôtel, nourriture, plage très agréable malheureusement la compagnie aérienne sponsorisant le voyage, sunwing, est terrible. payé pour des sièges spécifiques ne les a pas eu, départ tardif pour varedero et départ très tardif de varedero.

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Bonnes vacances

Grand complexe, bien aménagé, bâtiment et terrain bien entretenus (quelques réparations et entretien nécessaires), piscine tranquille à l'écart de la piscine principale ! Nourriture ok-bonne comparée à la nourriture cubaine, le personnel est sympathique et parle anglais

Good holiday Big resort, laid out well,building and grounds keep well(some repair and upkeep needed) enjoyed a quiet pool area away from main pool! Food okay-good comparing Cuba food, staff friendly and speak english

Sol Varadero Beach: bon centre de villégiature

L'hôtel était bien pour le prix... j'ai rencontré beaucoup de gens formidables. J'ai voyagé seul, et je ne suis pas un grand voyageur, mais le personnel était très amical et accueillant, et a facilité les déplacements. Je recommanderais sans hésiter d'y aller.

good resort Hotel was good for the value...met lots of great people. Travelled by myself, and i'm not much of a traveller, but the staff was very friendly and welcoming, and made it easy to get around. Would definitely recommend going there.

Melia Marina Varadero: un moment merveilleux !

Le complexe est nouveau et magnifique. Le personnel est sympathique et merveilleux. Les petits problèmes liés à la chambre ont été réglés rapidement. Il y a suffisamment de nourriture et d'options à la carte pour que même les plus difficiles ne soient pas affamés. Le personnel est extraordinaire. C'est la deuxième fois que je viens à Cuba et la première fois pour mon petit ami. Nous reviendrons encore et encore. Merci pour ces merveilleux souvenirs !

wonderful time!! The resort is new and beautiful. Staff was friendly and wonderful. Small problems with the room were addressed quickly. Enough food and a la carte options that even the pickiest of eaters shouldn't starve. Staff is amazing. My second time in Cuba, my boyfriends first time. We will come back again and again. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Resonance Blu Varadero: A Vetry Bonnes premières vacances

C'était les premières vacances de mes deux filles âgées de 10 et 9 ans. Je suis allée à Cuba 6 autres fois, mais jamais avec mes enfants. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux. Les piscines étaient propres et amusantes, la plage était magnifique. Le personnel des bars était très accommodant et très bon avec les enfants. Les chambres étaient propres et approvisionnées chaque matin. Le seul point que je recommanderais d'améliorer est le restaurant buffet principal. Le personnel n'était pas aussi  [... lire plus]réactif que d'habitude et j'ai trouvé que la variété des plats n'était pas très grande. Dans l'ensemble, le voyage a été très bon et, si on me le demandait, mes enfants retourneraient dans le même complexe.

A Vetry Good first vacation This was the first vacation for my 2 daughters aged 10 and 9. I have been to Cuba 6 other times but never with my children. We had a wonderful time. the pools were clean and fun, the beach was wonderful. The staff at the bars were very accommodating and were quite good with children. The rooms were clean, and stocked each morning. The one area of improvement I would recommend is the main buffet restaurant. The staff were not as responsive as I am used to, and I found the variety of food was not a wide range. Overall the trip was very good, and when asked, my children would go back to the same resort.

Ma femme, moi et 6 amis avons séjourné ici il y a deux ans. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié tous les aspects du complexe et nous y sommes retournés la première semaine de décembre de cette année. Nous avons été déçus de constater que l'hôtel n'avait pas conservé le même niveau d'excellence que nous avions apprécié auparavant. Qu'il s'agisse de l'aspect des terrains, de l'état des chambres ou du niveau de qualité de l'Al la Cartes, beaucoup de choses se sont dégradées. La baisse de qualité la plus i [... lire plus]mportante a été constatée au niveau du buffet. Le buffet offrait peu ou pas de variété d'un soir à l'autre.

Nice resort My wife and I and 6 friends stayed here 2 years ago. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the resort and so returned the first week of December this year. We were disappointed that the resort had not maintained the same level of excellence we had enjoyed before. From the appearance of the grounds, condition of the rooms and level the level of quality of the Al la Cartes, many things have " slipped". The biggest drop in quality was seen at the Buffett. The buffet offered little or no variety from night to night.

Melia Las Americas: Grandes vacances

Je reviens d'une semaine au MLA, mon fils a fait de superbes parties de golf et j'ai passé des vacances agréables et relaxantes. La nourriture est extraordinaire (buffet), le personnel est merveilleux et vous traite comme une famille et les divertissements sont les meilleurs. Les plages sont magnifiques.

Great Vacation Just came back from a week at MLA, my son had great golf games and I had a nice relaxing vacation. Food is out of this world (buffet), staff are wonderful and treat you like family and entertainment is the best. Beaches are wonderful.

Resonance Blu Varadero: C'était plutôt bien.

L'hôtel était bien. Le terrain est grand. Mon mari ne marche pas très bien et il fallait parfois marcher longtemps pour aller quelque part. Il y a des petits trains, mais quand nous en avions besoin, ils n'étaient pas toujours là. Le service de l'hôtel était bon. Particulièrement le Diamond club. La nourriture n'était pas toujours la meilleure mais ce n'est pas un problème pour moi car j'aime profiter de la campagne et de la plage.

It was pretty good. The hotel was good. The grounds are big. My husband does not walk the greatest and sometimes it was a long walk to get somewhere. There are the the little trains but when we needed it it was not always there. The service at the hotel was good. Special the Diamond club. Food was not always the best but that is not a problem for me since I like to enjoy the country and the beach.

Sol Varadero Beach: L'endroit est magnifique, l'océan et la plage sont EXCEPTIONNELS.

Notre chambre était toujours propre et fraîche, nous avions une belle vue sur la piscine et le joli parc. il y avait toujours quelque chose de bon à manger, des fruits frais, beaucoup de poisson, les pâtisseries étaient incroyables. L'hôtel est bien réparti et nous avons pu marcher beaucoup, ce qui était bien pour nous.

Beautiful spot the ocean and Beach are AMAZING. Our room was always clean and fresh, we had a beautiful view of the pool and the lovely grounds. there was always something good to eat, fresh fruit, lots of fish, the Baked good were amazing. It is well spread out and we were able to walk a lot which was good for us.
