Compte tenu des difficultés que connaît Cuba en ce moment, le Melia Cayo Coco demeure un excellent centre de villégiature. Melia Cayo Coco est toujours un excellent centre de villégiature. Nous sommes allés à MCC 6 fois maintenant et nous le recommandons toujours à d'autres. Les plages sont superbes et le personnel est exceptionnel !

Great resort Considering the hardships that are happening in Cuba right now. Melia Cayo Coco is still a great resort. We have been to MCC 6 times now and always recommend it to others. Beaches are great and the staff are outstanding!!

Un voyage fantastique Meliá Cayo Coco

Ce centre de villégiature était formidable. Le terrain était très beau et la plage était l'une des meilleures que j'ai connues. Le complexe lui-même est très bien géré. La chambre était absolument confortable et très moderne. Le personnel de ménage a fait un travail fabuleux tous les jours, la chambre était toujours impeccable. En ce qui concerne la nourriture, tous les repas étaient bons. Il y avait un large assortiment d'options. Le personnel a rendu l'expérience culinaire encore meilleure grâ [... lire plus]ce à son amabilité. Un grand coup de chapeau à Sachy Perez, qui a été formidable tout au long de mon séjour. Elle s'est toujours démenée pour s'assurer que tous les clients (y compris moi-même) étaient pris en charge. Un grand merci également à Abel Gonzalez et au responsable du bar du soir pour leur excellent service. Parmi les nombreux complexes hôteliers où j'ai séjourné à Cuba, celui-ci sera celui où je reviendrai.

Fantastic trip Meliá Cayo Coco This resort was great. The grounds were very beautiful and the beach was one of the best I’ve been to. The resort itself is very well run. The room was absolutely comfortable and very modern. The housekeeping staff did a fabulous job every day, the room was always spotless. As for the food, all meals were good. There was a wide assortment of options. The staff made the dining experience even better with their friendly manner. Massive shoutout to Sachy Perez, who was so great throughout my stay. She always went out of her way to make sure every guest (including myself) was taken care of. Also, big thanks to Abel Gonzalez and the evening bar manager for their great service. From the many resorts I’ve stayed at in Cuba, this will be the resort I come back to.

pas trop grand, facile de se déplacer, belle plage, la nourriture était bonne, et bien sûr le personnel, de la réception au garçon de plage, toujours serviable. Le seul changement serait que la salle de sport ouvre plus tôt que 9 heures du matin

this is the best resort I have stayed in off all the resort I have been to in Cayo Coco not too big easy to get around,beautiful beach the food was good ,and of course the staff everyone from the front desk to the beach boy always helpful . the only change I would like the gym to open earlier then 9 am

Resort très propre et accueillant. La plage vaut chaque centime ! Belle vue depuis le restaurant à la carte ! Le DJ était exceptionnel et les installations 24 heures sur 24 étaient parfaites si la nuit se prolongeait jusqu'aux petites heures !

Nice Stay! Wonderful people everywhere we went! Very Clean accommodating Resort. The beach is worth every penny! Nice views from the a la carte restaurant! DJ was exceptional and 24 hour facilities were great if the night lingered into the wee hours!

Très bon endroit pour séjourner et se détendre

Nous avons séjourné au Melia Cayo Coco du 12 au 19 mai. Dans l'ensemble, les vacances ont été bonnes : beau temps, avec quelques pluies, plage parfaite, nourriture décente, belle piscine et activités de jour et de soir. Le seul problème était l'alcool : la variété n'était pas très grande et, surtout, le centre de villégiature a d'abord manqué de vin rouge le dimanche 14 mai. Puis, le lundi, il n'y avait plus de vin blanc et le mardi, plus de vin mousseux. Avis aux amateurs de vin ! Nous avons dû [... lire plus] nous contenter de bière et de rhum, car nous ne sommes pas des amateurs de cocktails. Nous avons parlé au représentant de l'administration au bureau de l'expérience des clients, qui a évoqué des problèmes de livraison avec un camion bloqué pour une raison ou une autre à La Havane. Quelle que soit la raison - le fait est qu'ils n'ont pas résolu jusqu'à la fin de notre séjour le 19 mai et nous ne savons pas quand ils ont finalement été en mesure de se réapprovisionner en vin. Pour le reste, nous avons apprécié le complexe : il est propre, le personnel est sympathique, dans la zone de restauration, des chefs cuisinent de la viande, du poisson ou des pâtes pour vous si vous le souhaitez. Nous remercions tout particulièrement l'équipe de divertissement et son entraîneur - ils étaient jeunes et énergiques et ont donné un excellent spectacle tous les soirs, tout le monde a apprécié !

Very good place to stay and relax We stayed in Melia Cayo Coco May 12-19. Overall, the vacation was good: the weather was nice, with a few rains, perfect beach, decent food, nice pool and activities during day and evening time entertainment. The only glitch was an alcohol: the variety was not great and, most importantly, the resort first ran out of red wine on Sunday, May 14. Then by Monday they ran out of the white wine and by Tuesday – out of sparkling wine. So, wine lovers out there – be aware! We had to settle for beer and rum as we are not cocktail-lovers. We talked to the administration rep in the Guest Experience office, they cited some delivery issues with a truck stuck for some reason or other in Havana. Whatever the reason was – fact is, they didn’t solve till the end of our stay on May 19 and we don’t know when they finally were able to re-stock they wine supply. Other than that we liked the resort: it’s clean, the staff is friendly, in the eating area there are cooking stations where chefs are cooking meat, fish or pasta for you if you’d like. Our special thanks to the entertainment team and their coach – they were young and energetic and put on a great show every night, everyone enjoyed it!

très relaxant, chambre de bonne taille avec grand lit, eau livrée quotidiennement, personnel formidable... absolument rien à redire. cependant, c'est la saison des pluies... bien qu'il n'ait plu que pendant la nuit pendant environ une heure, l'humidité a amené les moustiques. very relaxing resort very relaxing, good size room with king bed, water delivered daily, great staff.. absolutely no complaints. it is however, rainy season... although rain only during the night for about an hour, the humidity did bring the "mosquitos" . best travel time is definitely in November... Great staff,very good food and plenty of it. I have been at this resort a few times and is my first choice over any other resort in Cayo Coco. Adults only., not large very comfortable. great beach.. bring your fishing rod...,..

Agréable mais pas un 5 étoiles

Bon service et le personnel est incroyablement sympathique, mais ce n'est certainement pas un centre de villégiature 5 étoiles. La piscine est sale et a des carreaux cassés partout, les gazebos autour de la piscine tombent en ruine et ont des ongles apparents partout, ils ne sont jamais nettoyés et sont sales. Cependant, la plage est magnifique si vous préférez cela. La nourriture est médiocre, pas géniale, mais pas terrible non plus. Les chambres améliorées sont très datées, mais certainement p [... lire plus]as mauvaises du tout, elles sont maintenues propres.

Nice but not a 5 star Good service and the staff are incredibly friendly however this is definitely not a 5 star resort. The pool is filthy and also has broken tiles all over, the gazebos around the pool are falling apart and have exposed nails all over them, they’re also never cleaned and are filthy. However the beach is beautiful if you prefer that. The food is meh, not great, but not terrible either. The upgraded rooms are very dated, but certainly not bad at all, they’re kept clean.

Le personnel était excellent, très serviable et prompt à répondre aux besoins et aux problèmes pour lesquels nous avions besoin d'aide. La résolution était propre à l'intérieur et le prprttu à l'extérieur aussi. Note : ma vue est mauvaise et il se peut que je n'écrive pas toujours bien. La plage était très propre et très belle. La piscine était excellente.

It had excellent staff who were very helpful and prompt at dealling withneeds and issues we needed help with. The resolt was clean indide and the prprttu out side as well. Note my etesight is poor and may not always write well. Beach was very clean and beautyfull. Pool was excellent.

Un endroit idéal pour des vacances reposantes

J'ai passé 10 jours en avril dans ce centre de villégiature et je reviendrai certainement l'année prochaine. Le personnel est incroyable, si serviable et amical que vous avez l'impression de les connaître depuis toujours. Ma chambre était nouvellement rénovée et très confortable. La nourriture était excellente. La plage est magnifique.

Great place for a relaxing vacation Spent 10 days in April at this resort and will definitely return next year. The staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly you feel like you’ve known them all your life. My room was newly renovated and very comfortable. The food was great. The beach beyond beautiful.

Ma fille de 20 ans et moi avons passé une semaine extraordinaire dans la chambre Lagoon block 2 au 2ème étage. Chambre : propre, lits confortables, douches chaudes, pas d'odeur de moisi, belle vue sur le lagon et le coucher de soleil. L'eau et les autres boissons étaient stockées tous les jours. Buffet et restaurants : Beaucoup de nourriture, des œufs au buffet ou au snack bar 24 heures sur 24, comme vous le souhaitez. Beaucoup d'options pour les légumes, les pâtes, le poulet, le porc, le poi [... lire plus]sson, les fruits, les desserts. Boissons : certaines zones du complexe proposaient des boissons glacées comme la pina colada ou le Daqueri, d'autres non, mais il n'y avait pas de pénurie de boissons. Terrain, piscine, plage : tout simplement magnifique ! Les terrains bien entretenus, propres et soignés, la piscine était bleue et claire et vous ne pouvez pas battre le sable blanc poudré et l'eau bleue cristalline à Cayo Coco. Divertissement et personnel : Incroyable !!! On ne peut pas dire assez sur la façon dont ils travaillent dur et comment ils sont énergiques pour s'assurer que vous avez des vacances agréables. Amazing week My 20 year old daughter and I spent an amazing week in the Lagoon Room block 2 on the 2nd floor. Room: clean, comfortable beds, hot showers, no musty smell, beautiful view of lagoon and sunset. Water and other beverages were stocked daily. Buffet & restaurants: Plenty of food, eggs at buffet or 24 hour snack bar any way you want it. Lots of options for veggies, pasta, chicken, pork, fish, fruit, dessert. Drinks: some areas on resort carried frozen options such as pina colada or Daqueri while others didn’t but there was no shortage of beverages. Grounds, Pool, Beach: simply beautiful! Well manicured grounds, clean and cared for, pool was blue and clear and you can’t beat the white powdered sands and crystal blue water in Cayo Coco. Entertainment and staff: Amazing!! Can’t say enough about how hard they work and how energetic they are to ensure you have an enjoyable vacation. We will definitely return.

C'était notre deuxième voyage au Melia Cayo Coco cette année. Nous avons passé l'un des meilleurs moments de nos 15 derniers séjours ou plus ici. Le service de tout le personnel était excellent, tout le monde était très heureux de répondre à nos demandes. Merci à Juan Carlos, Kennier, Yunismy, Haila et Gippsy. La nourriture était délicieuse au buffet et aux chariots à la carte. Le petit déjeuner et les déjeuners au Ranchon (restaurant de la plage) étaient très savoureux, avec du homard le j [... lire plus]our des Cubains. Merci à Champu, Orlando, Exay, Raul, Bravo et au reste du personnel de cuisine. Le service des serveurs est non seulement excellent, mais ils chantent et dansent également. Merci à Leandro, Osmany, Yusmelkys et Yaneisy. Il y a de la musique live tous les jours au déjeuner au Ranchon avec le toujours populaire Sol de Rio et un autre groupe dont le nom m'échappe. Le buffet offre une grande variété de choix de nourriture pour tout le monde au petit déjeuner et au dîner, nous n'avons pas déjeuné au buffet. Il y a quelques pénuries que nous avons remarquées mais qui ne nous ont pas affectés, comme les pâtes et le porc. Le buffet est assez bruyant en début de soirée à l'heure de pointe. Le personnel fait un excellent travail en accueillant les clients et en leur offrant une atmosphère chaleureuse et amicale. Nous remercions tout particulièrement Beatrice et Vivian pour le service du petit-déjeuner et Omar et Celia pour le service du dîner. L'hôtel compte un grand nombre de clients réguliers. Lors de ce voyage, nous avons rencontré de nombreux amis du Canada et des amis qui ont pu venir du Royaume-Uni. L'équipe d'animation fait un excellent travail pour inciter les clients intéressés à participer à des jeux sur la plage avec du boche, du volley-ball, des cours de danse et des cours d'espagnol. Ils organisent également une dégustation de rhum très divertissante. Un grand coup de chapeau à René, Julio, Nosleny, Annie, Victor, Chino, Yaneisy, Lia et Jilena, merci de vous amuser tous les jours ! Des animations nocturnes ont lieu dans le hall, toujours avec le piano Elim et tous les autres artistes. Sur la scène principale, une fantastique compagnie de danse présente des spectacles époustouflants. Une troupe de cirque, un groupe de rock et un spectacle de Michael Jackson se sont également produits. Le terrain est en très bon état et bien entretenu par un groupe de jardiniers formidables : Borges, Rolando, Felipe et bien d'autres. La magnifique plage s'étend sur des kilomètres et vous pouvez y faire de la voile, de la plongée avec tuba et de la pêche. La chambre classique dans laquelle nous avons séjourné était datée, en particulier la douche et la baignoire. Nous savons que des travaux de rénovation sont en cours. Nous avons apprécié que la chambre soit très bien nettoyée tous les jours. Un gros problème était le manque de pression et de température de l'eau aux heures de pointe, entre 17 et 18 heures, lorsque tout le monde se préparait à aller dîner. Cela peut être très frustrant. Le personnel s'est empressé d'essayer de remédier au problème. La principale raison pour laquelle nous avons choisi de retourner au Melia Cayo Coco est l'ambiance paisible qui y règne. Il n'y a pas de musique tonitruante à la plage, ce qui est absolument génial ! La musique autour de la piscine est très relaxante le matin. Au fil des ans, nous avons développé de nombreuses amitiés avec le personnel et chaque fois, nous sommes chaleureusement accueillis. Leur excellent service est vraiment apprécié !

Melia Cayo Coco. Another wonderful stay This was our second trip to Melia Cayo Coco this year. We had one of the best times out of the past 15 or more stays here. The service from all staff was excellent , everyone was very happy to help out with our requests. Thank you to Juan Carlos, Kennier, Yunismy,Haila and Gippsy. The food was delicious at the buffet and at the al la carts. Breakfast and lunches at the Ranchon (beach restaurant) very tasty with lobster on Cuban Day. Thanks to Champu, Orlando, Exay, Raul, Bravo and rest of the staff in the kitchen. The service from the wait staff, not only are they wonderful at the job, they also sing and dance.Thanks to the Leandro, Osmany, Yusmelkys and Yaneisy. There is live music daily at lunch at the Ranchon with the ever popular Sol de Rio and another band who’s escapes me. The buffet has a wide variety of choices of food for everyone at breakfast and dinner, we did not have lunch at the buffet. There are some shortages we noticed but they did not affect us, such as pasta and pork. The buffet is quite noisy earlier in the evening at prime time. The staff do a great job greeting guests and providing warm and friendly atmosphere. Special thanks to Beatrice and Vivian for breakfast service and to Omar and Celia for dinner service. The resort has a high number of repeat guests. On this trip met many friends from Canada and friends who have been able to travel from the UK. The animation staff do a great job of engaging those guests interested in participating in games at the beach with boche, volleyball, dance lessons and Spanish lessons. They also have a fun rum tasting event which is quite entertaining . A big shout out to Rene, Julio, Nosleny, Annie, Victor,Chino, Yaneisy,Lia and Jilena, thanks for the fun everyday! There is nightly entertainment in the lobby, always from the piano Elim and all the other performers. On the main stage there a fantastic dance company putting on terrific shows. There was also performances by a circus troop, a rock band and a Michael Jackson show. The grounds are in great condition and well maintained by a great group of gardeners Borges, Rolando, Felipe and the numerous others. The beautiful beach stretches for miles and you can sail, snorkel and fish. The classic room we stayed in was dated, especially the shower and tub. We know they are slowly working on renovations. We appreciated that the room was very well cleaned everyday. A big problem was the lack water pressure and temperature at peak times between 5 and 6 pm when everyone was preparing to go to dinner. This can be very frustrating. The staff were prompt to try rectify the problem. The biggest reason we choose to return to the Melia Cayo Coco is the peaceful vibe. No booming music at the beach which is absolutely amazing! Very chill music around the pool in the morning. Over the years we have developed many friendships with the staff and each time we are warmly welcomed. Their excellent service truly appreciated!

Merveilleux personnel et plages

Wonderful staff and beaches Enjoyed our weeklong stay at Malia Cayo Coco. The staff was so welcoming and kind, and the beaches were amazing - easily the best part of the trip. Our first time in Cuba was amazing. We loved the lagoon view suites.

We stayed in a lagoon room which was very nice. Grounds are very well kept. Only complaint is the cats. On the bus to the resort we are told not to feed the cats or dogs because they are wild but people feed them so they are around the eating areas looking for food.

Un séjour formidable

Nous sommes allés au Melia Cayo Coco le 24 mars pour une semaine de vacances et nous avons tout aimé. L'hôtel n'est pas très grand mais il est beau, propre et très bien entretenu. Le personnel était très sympathique, il faisait tout pour que les visiteurs soient bien accueillis et heureux, toujours souriant. La nourriture était excellente, la plage était l'une des meilleures que nous ayons jamais vues. Nous n'avons pas eu à nous plaindre. Nous prévoyons de revenir bientôt. Awesome stay We traveled to Melia Cayo Coco March 24 for one week vacation and loved everything about it. Resort is not very big but beautiful, clean and very well kept. Staff was very friendly, did everything to make visitors welcomed and happy, always smiling. Food was amazing, beach was one of the best we ever seen. We had nothing to complain about. We planning to returning soon again. Thank you from bottom of our hearts for beautiful vacation.

Le meilleur de Cayo Coco

Melia cayo coco est toujours le meilleur, le plus amusant et a le meilleur personnel que j'ai jamais rencontré. C'est pour cette raison que je reviendrai plusieurs fois au cours de l'année. Les après-midi avec le groupe et la danse sont tellement amusants que je reste littéralement pendant des heures pour profiter de tous. J'ai hâte de retourner en juin pour revoir tout le monde. The best of cayo coco Melia cayo coco is always the best the most fun and have the best staff I have ever met. Because of this I will always return many times through the year. The afternoons with the band and dancing are so much fun I literally stay for hours to enjoy with all of them. Can’t wait to go back in June to see everyone again. Nous avons adoré le centre de villégiature

Nous avons été satisfaits de tous les aspects de notre séjour - chambre propre, personnel aimable. Quelques files d'attente à Cuba pour entrer et sortir, mais dans l'ensemble ils ont fait du bon travail avec tant de gens qui passaient. Quelques réparations dues à l'ouragan mais pas de soucis pour nous. Le terrain était propre - belle verdure.

We loved the resort We were happy with all aspects of our stay- clean room, friendly staff. some line ups in Cuba to get in and out but overall they did a good job with so many people going through. Some repairs due to hurricane but no worries for us. Grounds were clean- beautiful greenery.

Examen de Post COVID

Mon mari et moi avons visité l'hôtel fin février 2023. Nous avons eu une visite agréable et un bon rapport qualité-prix, c'est un excellent complexe, malgré certaines limitations déjà mentionnées concernant la variété de la nourriture (avant COVID, la nourriture était abondante et très variée) et la variété des alcools (il n'y avait pas de gin ou de vodka, nous avons donc bu du scotch et du soda). L'arrivée à l'aéroport s'est faite en douceur et de manière organisée. Air Transat n'a pas eu de r [... lire plus]etard (contrairement aux histoires d'horreur de SunWing). L'enregistrement s'est déroulé sans problème (comme d'habitude). La plage et la piscine étaient magnifiques (comme d'habitude). Le déjeuner à la plage le jeudi était du homard (fabuleux ! Bravo aux chefs !). Les gens étaient très amicaux (comme d'habitude). Nous avons rencontré de nouveaux amis et nous nous sommes amusés à jouer au billard tous les soirs. Nous avons déjeuné au Lenny’s (25 $CAN par assiette de fruits de mer, 5 $CAN par bière). L'endroit est magnifique et paisible - nous y avons passé une heure à faire du peignage sur la plage. Le taxi coûtait 35 $CAN, y compris les deux trajets. Nous avons fait une excursion privée d'une demi-journée pour observer les oiseaux, ce qui était excellent, super intéressant et le point culminant de notre voyage. Oui, nous aimerions y retourner, en espérant que les problèmes de la chaîne d'approvisionnement s'améliorent et que les prix restent relativement modestes par rapport à d'autres pays. Merci au Melia Cayo Coco de nous avoir fait passer un agréable moment - nous sommes ressourcés !

Post COVID Review My husband and I visited end of Feb 2023. We had a lovely visit and value for money, this is a great resort, despite some of the limitations already spoken about re: variety of food (before COVID food was plentiful and lots of variety) and variety of liquor (there was no gin or vodka so we drank scotch and soda). Airport arrival was smooth and organized. Air Transat had no delays (as opposed to the SunWing horror stories). Check in was smooth (as per usual). Beach and pool were beautiful (as per usual). Lunch at the beach on Thursday was lobster (fabulous! Kudos to the chefs!). People were very friendly (as per usual). We met new friends and had fun playing pool every night. We had lunch at Lenny’s ($25CAN per seafood plate, $5CAN per beer). Location is beautiful and peaceful-spent an hour there just beach-combing. Taxi was $35CAN - this includes both ways. Did a private 1/2 day birdwatching tour which was Excellent, super interesting, highlight of our trip. Yes, we would love to go again, hoping that the supply chain issues get better and the prices stay relatively modest in comparison with other countries. Melia Cayo Coco : plage magnifique et très accessible à pied, personnel sympathique et accommodant, tout est très propre, bonne nourriture. Il y a eu quelques pénuries de vodka et de jus de fruits, mais rien qui n'ait affecté nos vacances. Nous prévoyons de revenir l'année prochaine !

Wonderful Resort Melia Cayo Coco…beautiful and very walkable beach, friendly and accommodating staff, everything very clean, good food. There were some shortages…vodka and fruit juices but nothing that impacted our holiday, We are planning a return next year!
