Great family vacation

The resort was beautiful, the people were so friendly and amazing, the pool and beaches were great, food was good as well. But because the beds were so brutal I would not recommended this hotel. The beds were extremely hard and I felt bruised from sleeping on them, I didn't sleep well the whole week.

This was an amazing resort!

We just returned from a one week vacation at the Sirenis Tropical Resorts. My sister and I took our aging parents and have to say our stay was even better than anticipated. The grounds are beautiful and well mainted. Lots of flowers in bloom. The walkways are easy for seniors and well lit up at night. Food is excellent with lots of selection. Have been to several resorts in Punta Cana and this resort is as good or better than the others. My parents would like to go back next year.

Great family resort

I read some bad reviews about this resort before going and was worried. However it was a great resort. Food was good and our room was nice on the tropical suits side. Building I. People were helpful, friendly and nice. Overall I would rate this resort a 4*.

Awesome vacation spot.

Great resort with very friendly staff .Took grandkids and had a blast.The waterpark was special place for the kids while we sat back and enjoyed all .They were on slides and we were in the shade.The beach and the gigntic pool was spectacular. Will do again.

Simply Amazing!

Everything about this vacation was perfect. The flight and their service (both ways, catered to my kids!) The resort was beautiful, the pool was huge and clean, the water park was soooo much fun and had no wait time at all, the food was diverse and delicious, room was huge and clean, and the service was superb! Would definitely recommend and go again :)

Good week away!

In a nutshell, good value for the money. Downs: - Check in/service: SLOW. Couldn't find our reservation when we got there. Room wasn't ready for 4 hours. Didn't have an extra bed or extra sheets even though we had requested for our son. First day was a lot of back and forth from our room near the beach to the lobby (long walk) to get what we needed. We eventually got sheets and a new comforter and set our son up on the couch. Not a pull-out as advertised. - Rooms: not so much that they were bad  [... lire plus]but definitely outdated. We had the Mirage Junior suite and I would have liked to see a bit of updating. Even just a paint job and comfortable chairs on our balcony would have made it nicer. Ups: - Beach/pool/grounds: All beautiful, well maintained, clean. We really, really enjoyed being outside. We had amazing weather so that was welcome! - Food: Good variety, fresh (because there was a lot of people so the cooks were always changing up the trays of food), and no one got sick, the most important of all. We did the Italian and Japanese a la carte. I'd recommend the Japanese but could have skipped the Italian - it really wasn't very good. The drinks were also very good, aside from the wine which was hit or miss. - Shuttle/airport: We flew in and out from La Romana, which I would definitely recommend. It was quiet airport, and we ended up arriving a few minutes before the people who flew directly to Punta Cana, and had to pay extra for that flight. We were on the bus a bit longer, but because the process at the airport was so smooth, we got there quicker.

Exceeded Expectations

the grounds were beautiful, staff lovely and value quite exceptional. The water park was a great hit with the kids. Rooms were large a little on the outdated could be cleaner. All restaurants and buffets were excellent. Loved the house peacocks there were 11 on the resort.

Exceeded our expectations

This was a fantastic resort for families. Lots to do on site if you don't want to spend the extra $$ to do excursions. Water park awesome, pool even better, beach beautiful. and the grounds gorgeous. It was a pleasure just to walk around! While this is a huge resort, we never had trouble getting a pool side or beach chairs for 5 of us!. Ample sun and shade for all. A particular highlight for my kids, ages 7,7,12, was the daily "animal". The resort staff make their rounds with an animal of the da [... lire plus]y and take pictures of the kids holding them! Monkeys, lizards, birds, snakes. These pictures can then be purchased if you want.

Good enough to recharge!

Arrival: Reception is very disorganized! Room: Very outdated. Grounds: Great job! Beach: Should clear the piling seaweed. Food: Below par - but they are trying. Bar: Good service. Pool: Very good :) ... Would not come back!

Small and simple

Great resort! Went with 3 young kids. Beds were hard but room was very clean. Pool was fabulous for the kids. Food was fine, service was superb. Water park was a blast for the whole family. We would go back again for sure.

Family Friendly

The resort proper was very nice and very well kept and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good in the buffets but the two restaurants we tried were a little disappointing. We could not get into the Japanese one because it was always busy. My biggest compliment was the staff and my biggest complaint was the terribly uncomfortable beds. I would hesitate to go there again because the beds are so awful.

Nice resort

Beach/Pool the sand at the beach was nice water was not crystal blue the pools were nice and had various depths! Service the service was ok you'd sometimes get good service and sometimes not. Food was good but there should be more access to all the restaurants on the resort for dinner. Rooms were nice and big but there were tiny bugs that would crawl all over everything your food anything so a perimeter spray of somesort of off or something would be nice and helpful! Value was pretty good consid [... lire plus]ering you have all access to the waterpark! Location was ok we'd prefer a better beach area with clear waters and access to more amenities like shopping!

Great family resort

Our family of five stayed at the Sirenis Tropical Suites this past week. We had a fabulous time swimming in their pools, enjoying the beach, and just relaxing. The workers were all friendly and helpful. They have a movie night for little ones every Wednesday and Sunday and live kids shows other nights. Due to windy conditions, we were unable to use our non motorized water sports. If you tip your maids and servers, they will make sure you are taken care of. Excellent vacation

Nice resort

rooms were a little dated, resort itself was nice, well taken care of. beach was beautiful and well taken care of -very large. staff was exceptional and extremely friendly. nightly shows were excellent and a different theme every night. overall and good resort and I would go again.

Sirenis tropical suites and casino punta cana

Very nice hotel. Great roomy and comfortable lobby. Grounds kept very tidy, well manicured and with bountiful colors of flowers. Really liked the covered walkways. Restaurants very good, great steaks and japanese and Italian meals. Beaches and pool area had an abundance of shady and sunny locations to choose from for large and small groups. Sandy beach and sport, entertainment teams kept us busy. Would like if they could offer coffee from the beach for those who like to watch sunrises and stock  [... lire plus]rooms with Kleenex.

Awesome resort

When we first got there we were greeted with a cold towel and a refreshment drink. The staff were so friendly the lobby was clean. The beach was amazing. However the rooms weren't the spotless and little on the older side. We were asked several times have we booked our dinner reservations and is everything good. I would go back to this hotel

Great holiday

had a great time,along with our son and daughter and spouses,and 3 grand daughters. We found the food very good,never had a bad meal,and lots of choices. the grounds are very clean, and well kept. The staff: from check-in desk, restaurant, and right through to cleaning were all very accommodating,and friendly.I give staff 9 of 10 We all had 1 bedroom suites,in bldgs. P and R, which were clean but dated. I expected better, but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room anyway. There is time share [... lire plus] there, so I think the up to date suites are used for them. I give our suites a 6 of 10. Pools were great and lots of them, our grand kids( 6,8,10) were not bored at all. Show's at night were not bad,all musical. But I rather shows were they get the audience involved. It's more of a laugh. I give the entertainment a 5 of 10. Also the water park was great. We spent 3 different day's there,and had a riot. But one word of advice,go Sun. to Thurs.,because they open it to the public on week-ends, and bus loads come in. The water park is a 5 min.walk from the resort, on the same property. I give the water park a 9 of 10. When in Rome , live like the Romans, and enjoy your holiday.

Fabulous for families, but 3 items of caution

Amazing splash pools, wonderful water park, Beautiful beach, lots of lounge chairs, Amazing splash pools, wonderful water park, Beautiful beach, lots of lounge chairs, mini-suites are perfect for adults with kids. Perfect for large families. Caution: first: This is not an intimate quiet resort for adults; second, the a la carte restaurants all have terribly slow service which is fine for adults but hard to explain to kids that they have to wait 45 minutes for appetizers. Third caution: avoid any [... lire plus] offers of the Serinis Premium Travellers Club, -- it is like a time share, but they conceal the real goal and suck your vacation time. Overall, if planning a family vacation, especially with little kids, one week at this resort is perfect!! And excellent value, especially with Air Transat Room Tip: The tropical suites are like a room and a half with a separated area that has a pullout or where you could put a crib. Closest thing you are likely to find to a suite at this price.

Good

Rooms were nice. Beds are hard. Grounds are very nice. Beach was covered in seaweed. Shows start too late for kids. Nice staff. Water park was good. Venders are too pushy. The weather was great. It only rained at night. The party boat was great but you should pay cash for all excursions so you don't get taxed twice.
