Un lieu idéal pour se détendre

Le personnel est toujours souriant et très prompt à aider. Le terrain est très bien entretenu et la piscine est toujours entretenue. L'équipe vous demandait tous les jours si vous vouliez participer aux jeux, mais n'insistait pas. La nourriture était chaude dans les chariots à la carte avec un bon service. Le buffet de la plage était bon, pizza, mais toujours à court, pas beaucoup de réapprovisionnement. Merci, nous avons passé une excellente semaine.

Great resort for relaxing The staff are always smiling and very quick to help. The grounds are very well kept and there always maintaining the pool as well. The team ask if you wanted to join in the games everyday but did not push. The food was hot in the a la carts with good service. The beach buffet was good, pizza, but always ran out, not replenish a lot. Thanks, we had a great week.

Superbe complexe réservé aux adultes

Un terrain magnifiquement entretenu, des installations propres, un personnel assidu et une plage magnifique. Il s'agit d'un petit complexe hôtelier qui ne compte que 144 chambres réparties dans des bâtiments de trois étages, tous situés à proximité de la plage peu profonde, au fond sablonneux et bien ombragée (par des palmiers). Les chambres sont un peu petites, mais qui va s'asseoir dans sa chambre ? Le Wifi est inclus et fonctionne assez bien ... la plupart du temps ; parfois même sur la pla [... lire plus]ge. La nourriture est assez bonne, mais je dois dire qu'ils doivent faire des efforts pour la garder chaude. La plupart des plats sont au mieux tièdes, mais je vois que le chef cuisinier, Manuel, s'améliore car il supervise le buffet et les trois plats à la carte, et enseigne à son personnel ce qu'il faut faire. Le café est excellent, à commencer par les grains fraîchement moulus.

Great adults only resort Beautifully kept grounds, with clean facilities, hard working staff, and a gorgeous beach. This is a small resort with only 144 rooms in 3 storey buildings which are all in close proximity to the shallow, sandy bottom, well shaded (with palm trees) beach. The rooms are on the small side, but who goes to sit in the room! Wifi is included and works quite well ...most of the time; sometimes even on the beach. The food is quite good, but I do have to say that they need to work on keeping it hot. Much of it is warm at best, but I do see head chef, Manuel, making improvements as he oversees the buffet and 3 a la cartes, teaching his staff accordingly. Coffee is great; beginning with fresh ground beans.

Pas ce à quoi je m'attendais, mais incroyablement plus !

Cet hôtel est tout simplement un bijou. Il est proche de l'aéroport, d'une plage immense et presque pas peuplée, sans autres stations balnéaires à proximité (peut-être deux autres petits hôtels), très sûr, un personnel fantastique, une très bonne nourriture et des chambres très modernes avec des lits confortables. Nous n'y sommes restés qu'une semaine, mais nous avons été impressionnés par presque tout. C'est un hôtel bien aménagé, avec une belle piscine et plusieurs types d'espaces de détent [... lire plus]e près de la piscine. Le seul point négatif est que le sol près et autour de la piscine est en marbre et peut être extrêmement glissant, ce qui m'a fait glisser et me blesser légèrement même si je marchais très lentement. Il y avait un personnel fantastique et enthousiaste qui a amené de nombreux clients à faire du yoga, du bache, du volley-ball, de la salsa et à passer des vacances très amusantes si c'est ce que vous vouliez, mais ils n'ont jamais été insistants. Dans l'ensemble, je suis impressionné et je recommanderais cet hôtel et la région de Samana à toute personne souhaitant faire un voyage dans le sud. J'hésite presque à donner une si bonne critique parce que cela signifie généralement que le prix peut augmenter à la prochaine saison de voyage. Ma plus grande préoccupation est la possibilité très réelle d'un développement futur le long de cette grande plage essentiellement vide. Cela changerait mon avis et ce serait dommage.

Not what I expected but amazingly more!! This hotel is simply a gem. Close to the airport, a huge, nearly un-populated beach without other resorts nearby (maybe 2 other small hotels), very safe, fantastic staff, very good food and the rooms were very modern with comfy beds. We were there for only a week but simply were impressed by almost everything. This is a well laid out hotel, with a beautiful pool and multiple styles of lounging areas near the pool. The only negative is the flooring near and around the pool is made of marble and can be extremely slippery causing me to slip and got minor hurt even though I was walking very slow. There were fantastic, enthusiastic staff that got many clients doing yoga, bache, volleyball, salsa dancing and just generally having a very fun vacation if that is what you wanted but they were never pushy. Overall I am impressed and would recommend this hotel and the Samana area to anyone looking for a trip south. I almost hesitate to give it such a good review because that typically means the price may go up next travel season. My biggest concern is the very real possibility of future development along this extensive mostly empty beach. That would change my review and it would be a shame.

Tout simplement incroyable

Nous avons séjourné à Viva Wyndham pendant une semaine à la mi-août. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons su que nous avions fait un excellent choix. Le personnel est formidable et vous donne l'impression d'être un vieil ami. Les chambres sont propres et bien aménagées, la nourriture au buffet et à la carte est excellente, la plage est magnifique. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel aux adultes à la recherche d'une escapade tranquille. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour faire la fête, continuez à cherch [... lire plus]er, lol

Simply Amazing Stayed at Viva Wyndham for a week in mid August. From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a great choice. Staff are amazing and make you feel like you are an old friend. Rooms clean and well appointed, food at buffet and a la cartes great, beach stunning. We would highly recommend this hotel to adults looking for a quiet getaway. If you're looking for a party resort keep looking, lol
