Melia Marina Varadero: Vacances relaxantes

Nous avons récemment séjourné au Melia Marina Varadero. L'hôtel est encore assez récent (moins d'un an) et il est donc très agréable. Il avait un thème nautique dans tout l'hôtel. Notre chambre était située au 4ème étage et donnait sur la marina.... ce qui était agréable. J'ai également trouvé que la vue depuis le bord de la piscine était très agréable. Les chambres étaient propres et spacieuses et disposaient d'une très grande douche séparée ! L'hôtel étant récent, le terrain n'était pas aussi  [... lire plus]luxuriant que dans la plupart des endroits que nous avons visités... mais on y travaillait. Je suis sûr que dans quelques années, la végétation aura bien poussé. La piscine était très grande, avec une zone pour enfants (peu profonde) à une extrémité et le bar de nage de l'autre côté. Nous sommes restés à la plage presque toute la journée. La plage était absolument magnifique ! Nous avons adoré l'eau chaude, calme et cristalline. Nous avons toujours trouvé un palapa pour nous asseoir, mais l'hôtel n'était pas plein à craquer pendant notre séjour. Je dois dire que la nourriture a été mon plus grand point négatif....et au buffet, elle n'était jamais chaude. Nous avons essayé quelques restaurants à la carte qui étaient nettement meilleurs que le buffet. Dans l'ensemble, j'ai trouvé l'hôtel agréable et je le recommanderais probablement à d'autres s'ils amélioraient la nourriture.

Relaxing holiday We recently stayed at the Melia Marina Varadero. The hotel is still fairly new (less than a year old) so it was quite nice. It had a nautical theme through out. Our room was located on the 4th floor and overlooked the marina....which was nice. I also thought the view from the pool side was very nice. The rooms were clean and spacious and had a very large separate shower! Because the hotel was new, the grounds weren't quite as lush as most places we have visited...but they were working on them. I'm sure in a couple of years the vegetation will have grown quite a bit. The pool was very large with a kiddie (shallow) area at one end and the swim up bar on the other side. We actually stayed at the beach most of the day. The beach was absolutely stunning!! Loved the calm, crystal clear warm water. We always found a palapa to sit under...but the hotel was not full to capacity during our stay. I have to say the food was my biggest negative....and at the buffet it was never hot. We did try a couple of a la carte restaurants which were definitely better than the buffet. Overall I thought the hotel was nice and would probably recommend it to people if they improved on the food.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: un grand moment

l'hôtel était super, super grand et pas trop occupé pendant la plus grande partie du voyage, le temps était super, la plage était super et le service super, on s'occupait de nous toutes les 10 minutes maximum, les chambres étaient propres et accueillantes, ce que j'ai préféré c'est les noix de coco gratuites le matin.

a great time the hotel was great .amazing big and not crazy busy for most of the trip .weather was great beach was great .and the service amazing. we were tended to every 10 minutes max.the rooms were clean and see inviting . my favorite part was free coconuts in the morning .

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Une époque étonnante

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Les gens étaient formidables et le complexe était magnifique. Nous avons hâte d'y retourner. Le snack-bar était super et la plage était absolument fabuleuse. Il n'y avait jamais trop de bruit et les chambres étaient très propres

Amazing time We had a great time. The people were amazing and it was a beautiful resort. Can't wait to go back. The snack bar was great and the beach was absolutely fabulous. It was never too loud and the rooms were very clean

Iberostar Origin Laguna Azul: Belle station balnéaire

L'emplacement de nos chambres était trop éloigné de tout, il fallait beaucoup marcher. Nous étions à l'arrière du complexe. Memories a une navette qui vient vous chercher et vous emmène là où vous voulez aller si c'est trop loin pour marcher. La nourriture était excellente, très variée. Lorsque nous avons quitté l'hôtel tôt le matin, nous avons demandé le service d'étage à trois reprises. Finalement, nous avons transporté nos propres bagages. Lorsque je suis arrivé à la réception, j'ai demandé c [... lire plus]e qui s'était passé et la fille m'a dit qu'il n'y avait qu'un seul homme en service et qu'il aidait un grand groupe. C'est ridicule ! A cette heure de la matinée, tout le monde part et il n'y a qu'un seul groom en service !!!!!!

Nice resort Where our rooms were we too far from everything, a lot of walking. We were right at the back of the resort. Memories has a shuttle that picks you up and takes you where you want to go if it's too far to walk. Food was excellent, a lot of variety. When we checked out early in the morning we had called for room service, three times. Finally we just LUGGED our own luggage. When I got to the front desk I asked what happened and the girl said there was only one guy on duty and he was helping a large party. That is ridiculous!! At that hour of the morning , everyone is leaving, and they only have one bellboy on service!!!!!!

Starfish Varadero: Un endroit fantastique

L'hôtel vieillit. Le papier hygiénique est encore cher. Le bungalow était propre et tout fonctionnait. La réception est moins difficile que lors de nos précédentes visites. Nous sommes arrivés tard, les cloches n'étaient pas disponibles. La pluie a trempé tous nos bagages pendant que nous cherchions notre chambre. Le soleil du matin a illuminé nos perspectives, la nourriture allait de palpable à pas mal. Notre chambre était bien nettoyée, les lits étaient "bons" (je n'arrivais pas à le croire).  [... lire plus]La plage était fantastique, les piscines étaient très bien et propres. Le personnel a toujours été très gentil (seule la réception a fait exception) et le temps que nous avons eu n'a été rencontré qu'à Camelot. Dans l'ensemble, notre voyage s'est déroulé sans stress et nous avons hâte de revenir.

Fantastic spot Hotel is getting older. Toilet paper still a premium. Bungalow was clean and everything worked. Front desk is less challenging than in past visits. We arrived late bell hops were not available. Rain soaked all our luggage while looking for our room. Morning Sun brightened our outlook, food ran from palatable to not bad. Our room was well cleaned, beds "Good" (could not believe it). The beach was fantastic, pools were very good and clean. Staff has always been very nice, (only the front desk has been the exception) the weather we had has only been encountered in Camelot. Overall our trip was stress free and can not wait to come back.

Sirenis Tropical Varadero: Magnifique, mais ne vaut pas la peine

Je dois dire que le complexe est magnifique mais j'ai eu de gros problèmes avec les toilettes, plusieurs fois sans toilettes du tout pour la journée dans notre chambre... et j'ai dû faire réparer les toilettes tous les jours, même l'urine bouchait les toilettes... lol. A part ça, pas trop mal...

Beautiful but not worth it I have to say the resort was beautiful but I had MAJOR issues with the toilet, a few times having NO toilet at all for the day in our room.. and had to have the toilet fixed daily, even urine would clog toilet lol. Other then that not too bad..

Iberostar Selection Varadero: Grand centre de villégiature

Étant moi-même une voyageuse très pointilleuse, je fais toujours des recherches approfondies sur les stations balnéaires et les hôtels avant de réserver et j'espère que tout ira pour le mieux. Je peux dire sans me tromper que j'ai été très impressionnée par l'Iberostar Varadero. Les chambres étaient toujours climatisées, spacieuses et les lits étaient grands et confortables. Le personnel de l'hôtel était amical et serviable, vous faisant sentir le bienvenu. La piscine, le bar de la piscine et l [... lire plus]'accès aux installations de la plage étaient excellents, la gamme et la qualité de la nourriture étaient fantastiques et les divertissements en soirée étaient les meilleurs que j'ai eus dans un complexe tout compris. Nous nous sommes détendus et avons passé des moments extraordinaires. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à tout voyageur exigeant !

Great resort Being a very fussy traveller myself, I always thoroughly research resorts and hotels before booking and just hope for the best. Well I can safely say I was hugely impressed with the Iberostar Varadero. Rooms were always air conditioned, spacious and beds were large and comfortable. The resort staff were friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome. The pool, pool bar and access to the beahc amenities were excellent, the food range and quality were fantastic and the evening entertainment was the best I've had at an all inclusive resort. We relaxed and had the most amazing time and I would recommend this to any fussy traveller with high standards!

Resonance Blu Varadero: Mémoires Varadero seulement moyen

Je pense que le classement doit être revu - ce n'est pas un hôtel 4 étoiles - mais il pourrait l'être avec un peu de soin. Des fils électriques dépassaient là où les appareils auraient dû être, les toilettes avaient besoin de travaux, la piscine présentait des taches de rouille. Bien que le personnel ait été excellent et très amical, qu'il ait proposé d'excellentes activités et même des cours d'espagnol (très peu de personnel parlant anglais), la nourriture était magnifiquement présentée mais ét [... lire plus]ait très fade - les Pina Coloda étaient très bonnes. Si je retournais à Cuba, j'essaierais un autre endroit.

Memories Varadero only average I think the rating needs to be reviewed-this is not a 4 star hotel-but could be with some TLC. Electrical wires were sticking out where fixtures should have been-toilet needed work-pool had area with rust stains. Althought, staff was excellent & very friendly - had excellent activities - even offered Spanish Classes(very few english speaking staff) the food was displayed beautifully but was very bland- Pina Coloda's were very good. If I returned to Cuba - would try another spot.

Club Kawama: Bon rapport qualité-prix

La chambre était propre, la nourriture So So (beaucoup de bons restaurants à des prix raisonnables à distance de marche, même chinois) Le personnel était agréable et serviable, toujours en train de travailler autour de la station. L'emplacement à proximité de la ville et de la propriété en bord de mer est incroyable :)

Good for the money Room was clean, Food So So (plenty of good and reasonably priced restaurants with in walking distance even Chinese :) Staff were pleasant and helpful always working around the resort. Location close to town and beachfront property is amazing :)

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: un grand centre de villégiature !

L'hôtel et le service étaient excellents. Le restaurant du bar de la plage et la plage étaient incroyables. Les chambres étaient spacieuses et propres. Les spectacles nocturnes étaient bien faits, en particulier l'hommage à Michael Jackson. Très bonnes vacances.

great resort! The resort and service was excellent. The beach bar restaurant and beach was amazing. The rooms were roomy and clean. The night shows were well done particularly the Micheal Jackson tribute. Great vacation.

Roc Arenas Doradas: Superbe plage !

Terrain et plage magnifiques. Les chambres sont bien mais les matelas étaient horribles. La nourriture n'a rien de spécial. Les boissons étaient médiocres, le pinacolada était le seul cocktail bien fait. Il faut apporter ses gobelets car les tasses du bar sont très petites. Je ne recommanderais pas d'y aller pour plus de 750 $ par semaine.

Great beach! Amazing grounds and beach. Rooms are fine but mattresses were horrible. Food is nothing special. Drinks were mediocre, pinacolada was the only nice done cocktail. Bring your tumblers with you as cups in the bar a very small. Would not recommend to go their for more then $750 a week.

Roc Arenas Doradas: On en a pour son argent

Classé 4 étoiles mais le prix donne la vraie note. Rien de particulièrement mauvais, mais rien de particulièrement bon. La chambre et le terrain étaient propres, c'est juste un vieux complexe. La plage était superbe, si vous cherchez juste à vous détendre sur la plage pendant une semaine à un prix plus bas, c'est peut-être une bonne option. Les puces de sable étaient assez mauvaises la semaine où nous étions là, et les moustiques dans le hall d'entrée la nuit - apportez un spray anti-moustiques  [... lire plus]et après la piqûre.

Mheh…get what you pay for Rated as a 4star but the price gives the true rating. Nothing particularly bad, but nothing particularly good. The room and grounds were clean, just an older resort. Beach was great, if you're just looking to chill on the beach for a week at a lower rate this might be a good option. Sand fleas were pretty bad the week we were there, and mosquitoes in the lobby at night…bring bug spray and after bite.

Paradisus Princesa Del Mar: Grande plage

Le complexe était en cours de construction et notre chambre était assez proche du désordre, mais les travaux devraient être terminés maintenant. Belle plage, bonne nourriture, bons divertissements, belles piscines et activités - nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour, malgré le bruit des travaux.

Great Beach Resort was undergoing construction & our room was quite near the mess, but it should be finished by now. Lovely beach, good food, good entertainment, nice pools and activities - we enjoyed our stay very much, despite construction noise.

Melia Marina Varadero: Meilleur complexe hôtelier de Cuba

Le complexe était très beau, grand, lumineux, avec des fleurs fraîches et très propre. Le terrain était bien entretenu, la piscine était de bonne taille ainsi que le jacuzzi. Le personnel était très serviable et amical. La nourriture au buffet était très variée et de très bon goût.

Best Resort in Cuba The resort was very beautiful, large, bright, fresh flowers and very clean. The grounds were well kept, the pool was good size and the hot tub. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The food at the buffet had a great selection and was very tasteful.

Royalton Hicacos Resort and Spa: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances tout au long de notre séjour. Le personnel était très gentil et professionnel, la nourriture était bien au-dessus de la moyenne cubaine, les chambres spacieuses et propres et, enfin, une plage fantastique avec une eau paradisiaque.

Amazing resort We had a great vacation during our entire stay. The staff was very kind and professional, the food was well above Cuban average, rooms spacious and clean and, last but not least, fantastic beach with paradise water.

Memories Jibacoa: Excellente nourriture... Excellente plongée en apnée... Très relaxant

Le terrain était impeccable et le personnel était très amical et toujours prêt à répondre à nos questions. Notre chambre était très propre et nous avons adoré notre emplacement, à mi-chemin entre la plage et la piscine. Ce voyage était notre 20ème (oui 20) à Cuba. Nous avons visité plusieurs établissements et je dirais que celui-ci est l'un des meilleurs. Si vous cherchez une plage avec un fond de sable dans l'eau qui s'étend à l'infini, ce n'est peut-être pas l'endroit qu'il vous faut. En revan [... lire plus]che, c'est une plage où l'on peut faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba. Vous pouvez sortir de l'eau et à deux pieds de profondeur, vous pouvez déjà voir le corail, les rochers et les poissons colorés. Je vous recommande de porter des chaussures d'eau si vous voulez juste faire trempette. Il y a toujours la piscine qui a une atmosphère très relaxante et la vue sur la montagne depuis le bord de la piscine est à couper le souffle. Les divertissements nocturnes sont typiquement cubains, mais l'action se déroule dans le salon avec un pianiste qui joue tous les soirs. Vous pouvez boire dans le salon ou dans le patio. Vous pouvez vous asseoir et vous détendre ou vous joindre aux autres clients et chanter avec le pianiste. C'est très amusant ! L'hôtel est situé à mi-chemin entre La Havane et Varadero, il faut donc prévoir une heure de trajet pour se rendre à l'aéroport et en revenir. Nous avons loué un taxi pour aller rendre visite à un ami à La Havane et le coût était de 60 pesos convertibles pour un aller-retour. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour vous détendre, manger de la bonne nourriture, profiter de la compagnie d'autres personnes partageant les mêmes idées ou simplement passer du bon temps avec votre conjoint/partenaire, c'est l'endroit que je vous recommande. Si vous recherchez une atmosphère de fête sauvage et folle, je ne pense pas que vous apprécierez ce complexe. Ce complexe réservé aux adultes était exactement ce que mon mari et moi recherchions et nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Great Food...Great Snorkelling...Very relaxing The grounds were impeccable and the staff were very friendly and always ready to answer any questions. Our room was very clean and we loved our location which was half way between the beach and the pool. This trip was our 20th (yes 20) to Cuba. We have been to various properties and I would say this is one of the best. Now if you are looking for a beach that has a sandy bottom in the water that goes on forever, then this might not be the place for you. It is definitely a beach for snorkeling. You can step out into the water and 2 feet in, you are already able to view the coral, rocks and colourful fish. I recommend water shoes if you're just going in for a dip. There's always the pool which has a very relaxing atmosphere and the view of the mountain from poolside is breath taking. The entertainment at night is your typical Cuban flare but the action is up in the lounge with a nightly piano player. Here you can drink in the lounge or take it out on the patio. You can just sit and relax or join in with the other guest and sing along with the piano player. So much fun! The resort is halfway between Havana and Varadero so plan on a one hour ride to and from the airport. We rented a cab and went into visit a personal friend in Havana and the cost was $60 convertible pesos for a return trip. If you're looking for a place to just relax, eat good food, enjoy the company of other like-minded people or just simply spend good quality time with your spouse/partner then this is the place I would recommend. If you looking for a wild and crazy party atmosphere then I don't think you would enjoy this resort. This adults only resort was just what my husband and I were looking for and we would return here in a heart beat.

Hotel Tuxpan: Superbe petit centre de villégiature

J'ai adoré l'atmosphère intime de ce petit hôtel. Nous étions à une courte distance de marche de tout. Les files d'attente étaient courtes aux heures de pointe pour manger ou boire, et les gens étaient remarquables. Il n'y avait peut-être pas autant d'activités pour les enfants ou en général que dans les stations plus grandes, mais ils font un très bon travail pour la taille de la station. Certaines chambres étaient datées (mais c'est Cuba), mais elles étaient toujours propres. Je m'attendais à  [... lire plus]ce que la nourriture soit moins bonne, mais je dois dire que j'ai été agréablement surpris. Lorsque nous voulions changer, nous prenions le bus pour aller en ville et manger dans un restaurant. Je me suis sentie en sécurité.

Great Small Resort Loved the small intimate atmosphere. We were in a short walking distance of everything. Short line ups during peak times for food or drinks and the people were outstanding. There many not have been as many activities for kids or in general that you would see at the larger resorts, but they do a very good job for the resort size. Some rooms were dated (but it is Cuba) but was always clean. I expected the food to be less than great, but i have to say i was happily surprised. When we wanted a change, we jumped on the bus and rode into the town and ate at a restaurant. I felt safe and secure doing so.

Hotel Villa Cuba: Station balnéaire déplorable

La nourriture était absolument dégoûtante (mais c'est encore de la nourriture cubaine). Très souvent, nous avons vu des restes. Chaque fois que nous prenions une douche, la salle de bain était inondée. Nous avons payé pour une chambre premium et nous n'avons rien eu de tout cela. C'était ma première visite à Cuba, mais aussi la dernière.

Awful resort The food was absolutely desgusting (but its again Cuban food). Very often we saw left over. Every time we took a shower, the bathroom flooded. We paid for premium room and got none of that. This was my first visit to Cuba but also the last.

Resonance Blu Varadero: un centre de vacances agréable et confortable

ma femme, moi-même, ma sœur et mon beau-frère avons vraiment apprécié le complexe, nous avons été heureux de l'attitude accueillante et souriante du personnel, la nourriture était bonne, l'open bar aussi, les soirées étaient correctes, mais ce qui est vraiment bien, c'est la plage et les étendues de plage et de sable ; j'ai aimé, c'était un très bon rapport qualité-prix.

a nice and cozy resort my wife, myself , my sister and brother in law, really enjoyed the resort, we were happy by the welcoming and smiling staff attitude, the food was nice, the open bar as well, the evening events were ok, but the really nice thing is the beach and the streches of beach and sand; i liked it it was great value for money.

Melia Las Antillas: Belle station, nourriture moins bonne

Mon copain et moi avons séjourné au melia las antillas du 13 au 20 mai. La station elle-même et la plage étaient magnifiques, et nous avons surclassé notre chambre, ce qui était très agréable. Cependant, nous nous sommes sentis poussés par le personnel à donner un pourboire pour être servis et la nourriture a rendu mon petit ami malade pendant 3 jours :( Dans l'ensemble, je ne retournerais pas dans ce complexe car la nourriture est un aspect très important des vacances pour moi.

Beautiful resort, not so good food My boyfriend and I stayed at melia las antillas from May 13-20. The resort itself and beach were beautiful, and we upgraded our room which was very nice. However, we felt pressured by the staff to tip in order to be served and the food caused my boyfriend to be sick for 3 days :( Overall I would not return to this resort because food is a very important aspect of a vacation for me.
