Riu Flamingos: Hôtel Big busy

Il était beaucoup trop grand, juste un énorme labyrinthe super occupé plein de gens. Chambres propres. Personnel serviable. Longue marche avec beaucoup d'escaliers jusqu'à la chambre (qui était calme). La nourriture aurait été excellente si nous avions été mexicains. Très peu de choses que nous pouvions manger en tant que Canadiens. C'était une bonne affaire pour l'argent cependant et une pause bienvenue. Je ne referais pas cet hôtel mais il n'y a vraiment rien à lui reprocher.

Big busy Hotel It was way too big,Just a huge great super busy maze chock full of people. Rooms clean. Staff helpful. Long long walk with lots of stairs to the room (which was quiet) Food would have been great had we been Mexican. Very little we could eat as Canadians. Was a good deal for the money though and a welcome break. Wouldn’t do this hotel again but really not anything to blame the hotel for.

Riu Negril: Rui Negril Review

Bonjour , Ma femme et moi avons adoré ce resort dans son ensemble, le personnel était très agréable à discuter et à plaisanter dans les bars et les restaurants (Teraka, Olena, Gareth, Mario) Ils étaient les stars de nos vacances au bar. (Teraka, Olena, Gareth, Mario) Ils ont été les stars de nos vacances au bar, vraiment super. La nourriture était bonne, qu'il s'agisse du buffet, de l'Al a carte, et surtout du jerk hut qu'ils avaient tous les jours. Propreté partout, même dans les salles de b [... lire plus]ains du hall. lol Je vais planifier un voyage de groupe au même endroit l'année prochaine, nos groupes sont généralement de 20 personnes, je viens d'en faire un à Cuba en novembre dernier. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié. Notre seule plainte concerne les retards constants au retour avec Sunwing, terrible, qui nous a fait monter à plusieurs reprises dans le bus, jusqu'à 5 fois. Malheureusement, si nous ne recevons pas de compensation de leur part, nous n'utiliserons plus leur service. Nous voyageons habituellement 2 ou 3 fois par an. Hello , Me and my wife loved this resort as a whole , staff was great to talk and joke with at the bars and restaurants. (Teraka , Olena, Gareth , Mario) They were the stars of our vacation at the bar. truly great. The food was good no matter the buffet , Al a carte , and especially the jerk hut they had daily. Clean everywhere ya went , even the lobby bathrooms. lol I will be planning a group trip to the same resort next year , our groups are usually 20 people , just did one in CUBA the November before this. Enjoyed it that much. Our only complaint is the constant delays home with Sunwing , terrible , loading us up over and over on the bus , to the tune of 5 times. Unfortunately , if we don t get compensated from them , we won t use their service again. We usually travel 2 or 3 times a year. Thank you Chris Mailloux and Erica Browne

Ce complexe est le plus excellent de tous ceux où nous avons séjourné en Jamaïque. Le personnel de l'hôtel, de la réception aux jardiniers, fournit un service supérieur à la moyenne pour que votre séjour soit mémorable et vos vacances fantastiques. Les barmans devraient être plus aimables et préparer des boissons plus consistantes. En deux semaines, je n'ai pas eu une seule boisson qui avait le même goût, même si j'ai commandé la même boisson au même bar par un barman différent. Sur une échelle de 1 à 10, 10 étant la meilleure note, j'évalue les services et l'expérience suivants. 1. Personnel de la réception . 10 2. Propreté de l'hôtel . 10 3. Nettoyage de la maison . 10 4. Réapprovisionnement de mon réfrigérateur .9 nous avons manqué de café à quelques reprises 5. Personnel d'animation . 10 6 service des serveurs à la plage, dans les salons. 6 6. Serveurs de buffet . 8. Nous avons constaté qu'il y avait une concurrence entre les membres du personnel pour que les clients s'assoient à l'endroit qui leur était réservé. Peut-être que le resort devrait envisager de revoir la façon dont les pourboires sont partagés afin d'éviter que les clients ne soient mal à l'aise. 7. Le personnel du buffet qui cuisine. 10 8. Personnel des jardins et jardiniers. 10 9. Locaux et vendeurs de la plage 10 10. Service de chambre 7. Il y a des améliorations à apporter. Je n'ai pas aimé faire la queue pour réserver une place et ils laissent entrer tout le monde en même temps, ce qui ne permet pas au personnel d'offrir la meilleure expérience de dîner à la carte. Un intervalle de 30 minutes avec possibilité de réservation via l'application riu devrait être envisagé Je dirais que tout le personnel est professionnel et se met en quatre pour vous fournir des services et faire de votre séjour le meilleur. Pour nous, c'était le cas et nous reviendrons sans aucun doute dans ce complexe. Pour moi, les points forts ont été les vendeurs de plage, la propreté de notre chambre "Nicole" et le gars du bar/de la boîte à glace "Richard" Les serveurs du buffet, "Diana, Deamen, Denise, et bien sûr "Natalie". Excellent Resort This resort was most excellent of all resorts we have stayed at in Jamaica. The resort staff from the front desk to the gardners provide above average service to ensure your stay is memorable and your vacation is fantastic. The only areas of concern I thought needed improvement are the following. 1. The beach lounge chairs and tables should be cleaned regularly. A pressure washer could help with this. 2. The servers at the beach should be more frequant and stop to ask guests if they need anything. 3. Bartenders should be more friendly, and make their drinks more consistant. In the 2 weeks I was there i did not get one drink that tasted the same even if I ordered the same drink at the same bar by a different bartender. On a scale from one to ten with ten being the best, I rate the following services and experience. 1. Front desk staff . 10 2. Resort cleanliness . 10 3. House cleaning . 10 4. Replenishment of my fridge .9 we lacked coffee on a few occasions 5. Entertainment staff . 10 6 service by waiters at the beach, in the lounges. 6 6. Buffet servers . 8. We found that there was competition from staff to get guests to sit at their designated area. Maybe the resort should consider reviewing how tips are shared to avoid guests miscomfort. 7. Buffet staff who cook. 10 8. Grounds staff and gardners. 10 9. Beach locals and vendors 10 10. Room service 7. Needs improvement here. Had one no show, and had to plead with staff to get a pot of coffee. 11. Beach towels staff . 10 12. Bell hop . 10 13. Security 10 14. Recreational staff and service . 10 15. A la carte. 8. Room for improvement here but otherwise it works. I did not like waiting in line to reserve a sitting and they let everyone in all at once which does not provide the option for staff to provide the best a la carte dinning experience. A 30 minute seating interval with reservation option using the riu app should be considered I would say all staff are professional and do go out of their way to provide you services and make your stay the best. For us it was and will definantly return to this resort. For me my highlight was the beach vendors, our room cleanliness "Nicole" and bar/icebox guy "Richard" Buffet servers, "Diana, Deamen, Denise, and of course "Natalie". Riu Flamingos: Une nourriture étonnante.

Le terrain est magnifique. La piscine est sale et les règles changent tous les jours selon que vous êtes un ressortissant ou un touriste. Vous ne bénéficiez d'aucun avantage, ni d'un départ tardif, ni d'un placement dans une chambre avec une carte d'or. Le bar de la piscine est envahi d'enfants et de flotteurs. L'équipe d'animation est amusante et travaille dur. La nourriture est très bonne. Le service aux repas est excellent. Nous aimons les chaînes riu et nous continuerons à les fréquenter, ma [... lire plus]is certainement pas le riu Jalisco. Nous sommes allés 4 fois à celui-ci. Malheureusement, ce n'est plus le cas. Il s'est vraiment dégradé.

Amazing food. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is dirty and the rules at the pool change daily depending on if you are a national or a tourist. You get absolutely no perks, late check-out, and room placement with a gold card. The swim up bar is over run with kids and floats. The entertainment crew are fun and work hard. The food is very good. The service at meals are excellent. We love the riu chains and will continue to travel to them but definitely not the riu Jalisco. We have been 4 times to this one. Unfortunately not this one again. It has definitely gone down hill.

Riu Dunamar: Grande plage

La plage était la partie la plus agréable de ce complexe. Les divertissements étaient également corrects, mais rien de spécial. Attention à la nourriture. La nourriture dans ce complexe est horrible. Comme il s'agit d'un hôtel RIU, elle aurait dû être meilleure, mais elle était vraiment comparable à celle de n'importe quel hôtel à Cuba. L'hôtel est très éloigné de la ville. Le trajet dure environ 40 minutes. Si vous voulez prendre un taxi jusqu'à la rue principale, il vous en coûtera 60$ pour u [... lire plus]n aller simple. Faites-vous une faveur et restez sur la bande de l'hôtel pour un supplément de 200 $. Nous sommes membres de Riu et je peux dire que cet hôtel est super médiocre.

Great Beach The beach was the nicest part of this resort. The entertainment was alright also but nothing special. Beware of the food. The food at this resort is horrible. Being a RIU resort it should have been better but it was really comparable to any resort in Cuba. The hotel is super far from the town. The drive was about 40 minutes. If you want to take a taxi to the main strip it will cost you 60$ us for one way. Do yourself a favour and stay on the hotel strip for an extra $200. We are Riu members and I can say that this hotel is super mediocre.

Riu Palace Bavaro: Excellent centre de villégiature

Le personnel de l'hôtel, les restaurants, le terrain et les chambres étaient tous très agréables. Nous avons été surclassés dans la Villa après un petit incident. Je recommande vivement la Villa pour des vacances plus tranquilles. La communication avec les représentants de Sunwing a été excellente. Le seul problème a été un énorme retard à l'aéroport de Toronto au moment du départ pour la République dominicaine.

Excellent Resort Hotel staff, restaurants, grounds and rooms were all very nice. We were upgraded to the Villa after a small incident. I would highly recommend the Villa for a more quieter vacation. Sunwing representative communication was great. The only issue was a huge delay at the Toronto airport upon departure to Dominican Republic.

Riu Latino: station propre avec un personnel sympathique

L'hôtel et le terrain étaient très propres, le personnel sympathique s'est efforcé de rendre tout le monde heureux. La nourriture était correcte. Difficulté à répondre à la demande pour les plats populaires du buffet. Le steak du Steakhouse n'était pas à la hauteur. Très dur et beaucoup de graisse. L'hôtel a besoin de beaucoup plus de toilettes autour de la piscine. Un quatrième ascenseur est nécessaire dans l'aile au-dessus des restaurants.

clean resort with friendly staff Hotel and grounds were very clean, friendly staff tried very hard to make everyone happy. Food was alright. Trouble keeping up with demand for popular items in buffet. The Steakhouse steak was not up to standard. Very tough and lots of fat. . Resort needs many more washrooms around pool area. A fourth elevator is needed in the wing above restaurants.

Riu Republica: Grande station !

Un grand centre de villégiature ! Idéal pour les personnes qui aiment faire la fête ! Les terrains et les chambres sont bien entretenus et le personnel est formidable et toujours prêt à aider (un petit pourboire suffit). L'équipe de divertissement est EXTRAORDINAIRE !!! C'était la deuxième fois que j'y allais et j'ai encore plus apprécié cette fois-ci car tout était ouvert. Je le recommande vivement !

Great resort!! Great Resort!! Great for people that enjoy partying!! The grounds and rooms are well kept and the staffs are great and always there to help (a lil tip goes a long way). The entertainment team is AMAZING!!! This was my second time there and I enjoyed it more this time around since everything was open. Highly recommend it!!

Riu Palace Antillas: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Tout était parfait dans ce complexe. La nourriture était excellente. Le service était excellent. Je recommande sans hésiter ce complexe et j'y reviendrai. Le temps était superbe et je me suis sentie en sécurité sur cette île. Les machines à sous du casino ne donnaient pas grand-chose.

Amazing resort Everything was great at this resort. Food was amazing. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this resort and I will come back. The weather was great and I felt very safe at this island. Casino slots did not give much.

Riu Palace Costa Rica: Excellente revue *

Le terrain est très propre, le personnel et la nourriture sont excellents, la plage est superbe, les chambres sont propres et offrent une vue magnifique. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à tout le monde, les guildes sont excellentes pour les visites, les piscines sont très propres et il y a beaucoup d'action autour des piscines

Riu Palace Cabo San Lucas: Un véritable centre de villégiature !

Ce centre de villégiature était si propre ! Le personnel était amical, poli et se souvenait de nous d'un jour à l'autre lorsque nous passions devant lui. La nourriture, oh combien incroyable. J'ai été très heureuse de voir qu'il y avait autant d'options végétariennes. Les piscines étaient propres et deux d'entre elles étaient réservées aux adultes. La plage était également propre et on pouvait marcher assez loin dans le sable magnifique. Les activités organisées étaient très amusantes et f [... lire plus]aisaient participer tout le monde. Les seules restrictions liées à Covid dont j'ai eu connaissance étaient que la discothèque était fermée, mais aussi que des rénovations étaient en cours à l'hôtel voisin. Chaque matin, la vue sur le lever du soleil depuis notre balcon était magique. Et nous pouvions voir l'Arc de partout. Le seul reproche que l'on puisse faire est que le spectacle pour enfants se déroulait au même endroit que le spectacle pour adultes. Cela signifiait donc qu'il fallait attendre beaucoup plus tard pour que le spectacle commence si vous n'aviez pas d'enfants avec vous. Je pense que le spectacle pour enfants devrait être déplacé, ce qui permettrait d'économiser l'immense scène et le bar pour les adultes. Le menu du room service a vraiment besoin d'être complété. Ce n'est que mon avis. Dans l'ensemble, 5 étoiles, le voyage en valait la peine. Nous y retournerons.

Truly a star resort! This resort was so clean! The room was very well stocked, no request was to small The staff were friendly, polite and remembered us from one day to the next as we walked by. The food, oh so amazing. I was very pleased to see so many vegetarian options. The pools were clean and 2 were reserved for adults only. The beach area was also kept clean and you could walk for quite a way in the beautiful sand. The activities that were organized where a lot of fun and engaged everyone. The only Covid related restrictions that I was aware of, was that the disco was closed, but also renovations going on at the next hotel. The view each morning of the sunrise from our balcony was magic. And we could see the Arc from everywhere. Only complaint is that the 'kids entertainment' was in the same location as the adults show. So this meant waiting until much later to have the show start if you didn't bring kids along. I think the 'kids' show should be relocated saving the huge stage and bar aea for the adults. The room service menu really needs some additions to it. Just my opinion. Overall 5 stars, well worth the trip. We will be going back.

Riu Ocho Rios: À couper le souffle

Cet hôtel/resort était à couper le souffle. Génial. Il a dépassé mes attentes à tous points de vue. Notre agent Sunwing, Karol, et tous les membres de l'équipe ont été très courtois. S'il y avait un changement ou une question concernant notre vol ou notre réservation, on y répondait immédiatement. Cette forme de communication m'a apporté beaucoup de tranquillité d'esprit et de satisfaction.

Breathtaking This Hotel/resort was breathtaking. Awesome. It superseded my expectations in every way. Our sunwing agent Karol and the entire team members were very very courteous too. If there was a change or question in regards to our flight or booking, it was addressed immediately. This form of communication gave me a great deal of peace of mind and satisfaction.

Riu Palace Aruba: WOW !

Nous adorons cet hôtel. Nous y étions il y a 13 ans et nous sommes revenus. C'est encore mieux que dans nos souvenirs. Propre, beau, plage et piscine magnifiques. Le personnel est si gentil et serviable. Notre chambre se trouvait dans le bâtiment principal, au 8ème étage. Elle était impeccable tous les jours et nous avions une vue fantastique. Nous avons adoré le buffet et il y avait toujours quelque chose de nouveau à essayer. Nous avons hâte de revenir !

WOW! We love this hotel. We were here 13 years ago and came back again. It's better then we remembered. Clean, beautiful, amazing beach and pool. The staff is so nice and helpful. Our room was in the main building on the 8th floor. It was spotless every day and we had a fantastic view. We loved the buffet and there was always something new to try. Can't wait to come back!

Riu Guanacaste: Grand centre de villégiature

Les terrains de la station sont bien entretenus et les chambres sont assez confortables. Les restaurants offrent suffisamment de choix. Mon seul reproche est qu'il y a trop d'enfants et que c'est assez bruyant autour de la piscine, surtout le week-end. La plage est adéquate et vous pouvez marcher pendant un certain temps en toute sécurité. J'ai passé de bonnes vacances, mais je réserverais probablement la prochaine fois au Riu Palace, juste à côté.

Great resort The grounds on the resort are well kept and rooms are quite comfortable. Restaurants have enough choices. My only complaint there are too many kids and its quite noisy around the pool especially on the weekend. The beach is adequate and you can walk for quite a while safely. Enjoyed the holiday but probably would book next time at the Riu Palace next door.

Riu Flamingos: Un bon centre de villégiature et un bon rapport qualité-prix

L'hôtel était propre et très bien situé. La nourriture était bonne mais les divertissements ont besoin d'être améliorés et de faire respecter la section de la piscine réservée aux adultes. Le personnel de la restauration et de l'entretien ménager est formidable. Dans l'ensemble, un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Good resort and value The hotel was clean and excellent location. The food was good but entertainment definitely needs improvement and to enfor e asuly only pool section. Great staff in dining and housekeeping. Overall good value for your money.

Riu Palace Aruba: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Cet hôtel est incroyable, très accueillant pour les familles, propre et bien entretenu. Je recommanderais cet hôtel à 100% ! Le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique et accueillant ! La nourriture et les restaurants sont tous incroyables et très propres !

Riu Ocho Rios: Incroyable ! Pas besoin de quitter l'hôtel, tout est là !

Le Riu Ocho Rio est un paradis avec une cerise sur le gâteau ! L'endroit est extrêmement propre, beaucoup de sièges spacieux avec le meilleur divertissement et la nourriture savoureuse. Vacances pendant le long week-end (National Heroes Day) et ils ont incorporé des éléments que les visiteurs pourraient apprécier et être éduqués. La plage était propre et isolée avec beaucoup de places assises et pas de vendeurs. Je ne peux pas en dire assez sur le personnel de divertissement qui était amusant,  [... lire plus]énergique et se souvenait des visages. Ils se sont surpassés pour rendre votre séjour mémorable et interactif. Pas besoin de quitter l'hôtel, tout est là ! Je reviendrai certainement et je le recommande à tous.

Amazing!! No need to leave the hotel, it's all there! Riu Ocho Rio is paradise with a cherry on top! The location is extremely clean, lots of spacious seating with the best entertainment and tasty food. Vacationing over the long weekend (National Heroes Day) and they incorporated elements that visitors could enjoy and be educated. The beach was clean and secluded with lots of seating and no vendors. I can't begin to say enough about the entertainment staff who were fun, energic and remembered faces. They went above and beyond to make your stay memorable and interactive. No need to leave the hotel, its all there! I definitely will be back and recommend to all.

Riu Negril: Charmante station, relaxante

Les chambres, le terrain et les restaurants étaient très propres. Le personnel était merveilleux. Tout le monde était amical et serviable. C'était agréable d'être dans une station où tout le monde parlait anglais. L'animation était bonne. J'ai déjà séjourné dans un hôtel Rui et j'y retournerai.

Lovely ,Relaxing resort The rooms, grounds and restaurants where very clean. Staff was wonderful. Everyone friendly and helpful. It was nice to be in a resort where everyone spoke English. Entertainment was goodi have stayed in a Rui resort before and I would return again.

Riu Negril: RIU Negril

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Le terrain était propre et bien entretenu. Les chambres étaient grandes, bien aménagées et propres. Lits confortables. Les piscines étaient superbes. Belle plage. Les restaurants étaient bons et nous avons apprécié la nourriture dans chacun d'entre eux.

We really enjoyed our stay there. The grounds were clean and well kept. Rooms were large, well appointed and clean. Comfortable beds. Pools were great. Nice beach. The restaurants were good and we enjoyed the food in all of them.

Riu Flamingos: Les attentes ont été dépassées : un centre de villégiature amusant et excellent !

De manière générale, nous avons trouvé le centre de villégiature excellent ! Le type de chambre demandé a été accordé à nos trois groupes différents et était très agréable. Nous l'avons bien gardée. Le complexe est magnifique et charmant, dans un cadre saisissant de la baie de Banderas entourée de montagnes, avec de nombreuses familles mexicaines multigénérationnelles qui vont et viennent : nous avons vraiment apprécié cet aspect. La nourriture est bonne, et les restaurants mexicains et itali [... lire plus]ens sont excellents : nous les recommandons vivement. Le service de boissons est excellent, en particulier au bar des sports. Situé sur une belle plage de la baie de Banderas, les eaux de la baie venant de l'océan Pacifique sont assez chaudes et souvent assez douces pour la baignade. Nous avons profité de deux semaines de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Par l'intermédiaire de Nexus Tours, nous avons réservé une visite privée d'une journée pour quatre personnes de Puerto Vallarta ... ses nombreuses zones et quartiers ainsi qu'une visite d'une usine de tequila : c'était très instructif et nous avons certainement apprécié la dégustation des différents produits de tequila ! Si notre approche n'était pas d'aller dans de nouveaux endroits et d'essayer de nouvelles situations, nous retournerions sans hésiter au Riu Jalisco.

Exceeded expectations: a fun and excellent resort! We generally found the resort excellent! The requested type of room at the resort was granted to our three different parties and was very nice. Well kept for us. The resort is beautiful and charming, in a striking setting in the Bay of Banderas surrounded by mountains, with many multi-generational Mexican families coming and going: we really enjoyed this aspect. The food is good, and the Mexican and Italian restaurants we found excellent: highly recommended. The drink service is fine and particularly good in the Sports Bar. Located on a beautiful beach on the Bay of Banderas, the bay waters coming in from the Pacific Ocean are warm enough and often gentle enough for swimming. We enjoyed two weeks of beautiful sunsets. Through Nexus Tours, we booked a private four-person full-day tour of Puerto Vallarta ... its many zones and neighborhoods as well as a visit to a tequila factory: informative and we certainly enjoyed tasting the different tequila products! If our approach was not to go to new places and try new situations, we would without hesitation return to the Riu Jalisco.
