Yucatan 5 étoiles, Holiday Inn 0

Les pires vacances depuis des années. Nous avions réservé un séjour inversé au Holiday Inn Express, à l'aéroport de Toronto. Nous avons garé la voiture et payé la totalité de la chambre, mais à notre retour, après une semaine à Pte Adventuras, nous avons constaté que l'hôtel était complet. Il était 2 heures du matin, il y avait deux vols complets en provenance de Cancun à cette heure-là et nous étions une vingtaine dans le hall à ne pas avoir de chambre. Ma femme et moi avons plus de 70 ans, nou [... lire plus]s avons dû conduire 2 heures sur des routes enneigées et verglacées pour rentrer à la maison. Un voyage que je ne referai plus jamais, ni ne séjournerai plus jamais dans cet hôtel.

Yucatan 5 stars, Holiday Inn 0 Worst Vacation in years. We had booked a reverse Park/Stay at the Holiday Inn Express, Toronto Airport. Parked the car, paid in full for our room , but on our return after a week in Pte Adventuras we found that the hotel was fully booked. It was 2.00 am in the morning, there were two full flights from Cancun at that time and there were about 20 of us in the lobby without rooms. My wife and I are in our late 70's, we had to drive 2hrs on snowy,icy roads to get home.A trip I will not do again, ever, nor stay at this hotel again, ever.

Une belle station balnéaire !

Les terrains du Catalonia Yucatan et du Catalonia Maya sont magnifiques et le personnel travaille constamment pour que tout soit beau. Nous avions une suite qui était grande, propre et tout à fait agréable. Le personnel était irréprochable, il était amical et serviable et essayait toujours de s'assurer que nous allions bien et que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour passer un bon moment. Je n'ai pas vraiment de points négatifs concernant mes vacances ici, juste que c'était un peu pl [... lire plus]us loin de l'aéroport que ce que nous faisons habituellement lors de nos voyages au Maya, mais l'emplacement près de la marina avec les dauphins, les lions de mer et les lamantins a en quelque sorte compensé cela !

Lovely Resort! The grounds of the Catalonia Yucatan and Catalonia Maya are beautiful, the staff are constantly working to keep everything looking nice. We had a Suite which was large, clean and totally enjoyable. The staff were beyond reproach, they were friendly and helpful and always trying to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed for a great time. I have no real negatives about my vacation here, just that it was a little far from the airport than we usually go on our trips to the Mayan, the location close to the Marina with the dolphins, sea lions and manatees sorta made up for it!

Bon centre de villégiature, excellente situation

Le Catalonia Yucatan est situé à Puerto Aventuras, à proximité de Playa del Carmen et d'un grand nombre d'excursions. La nourriture était bonne (surtout à la carte, 4 fois en 7 jours), bien que le buffet devienne un peu ennuyeux si vous y mangez souvent, j'imagine. Les bars étaient bien, avec beaucoup de choix. La plage était petite et pas terrible, mais si vous faites beaucoup d'excursions comme nous, ce n'est pas vraiment un problème. Le personnel était sympathique et très serviable.

Good resort, great location Catalonia Yucatan is at a great, clean, secure location in Puerto Aventuras close to Playa del Carmen and near lots of great excursions. Food was good (esp al la cart, 4 times in seven days), although the buffet will get a little boring if you eat there a lot I imagine. Bars were good with lots of selection. Beach was small and not great, but if you do a lot of excursions like us that is not really a problem. Staff were friendly and very helpful.

Un endroit magnifique

Tous les restaurants étaient superbes ; la nourriture était délicieuse Les restaurants et le complexe lui-même étaient dans un état impeccable... Le service était excellent, le personnel était amical et travaillait dur Nous avons été traités comme des rois et des reines, le personnel était toujours heureux de nous aider dans la mesure du possible....

Beautiful Place All the Restaurants were superb; the food was delicious The Restaurants and Resort itself was kept in immaculate condition.. The Service was great, the Staff were friendly and hard -working - We were treated like Kings and Queens, staff was always happy to help us in any way possible....

Excellent séjour à l'hôtel Catalonia Yucatan !

Nous avons récemment passé une semaine au CY et avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. Je suis un voyageur fréquent dans la région (5 fois cette année) et c'était mon premier séjour, mais ce ne sera pas le dernier. Les chambres sont un peu vieillottes, mais propres. La nourriture est fantastique, les piscines sont belles et les levers de soleil sont magnifiques. Ma seule suggestion est d'avoir plus de barmans car le service était assez lent à certains moments, et d'arrêter de faire attendre les c [... lire plus]lients pour être assis dans le buffet. On devrait pouvoir simplement entrer et trouver une table, est-il vraiment nécessaire de nous faire asseoir ?

Great Stay at the Catalonia Yucatan! We spent a week at the CY recently and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I am a frequent traveller to the area (5x this year) and that was my first stay there, but will not be my last. the rooms are a bit dated, but clean. The food is fantastic, the pools are beautiful and the sunrises are wonderful. My only suggestion is more bartenders as service was quite slow at times, and stop having guests wait to be seated in the buffet. We should be able to simply walk in and find a table, is it really necessary to seat us?

Un centre de villégiature absolument incroyable !!!!

Personnel formidable, sympathique et travailleur, tout le monde était serviable et très professionnel. Chaque voyage était parfaitement organisé et vraiment intéressant. Les chambres étaient très propres et impeccables. Ma famille et moi y retournerons avec plaisir !

Absolutly amazing resort!!!! Amazing, nice and hard working staff, everybody was helpful and very professional. every trip was perfect organized and really interesting. Rooms very clean and spotless. My family and I would go there again with pleasure!

Une période extraordinaire

Personnel très sympathique... propre... belle vue... bonne nourriture... adore l'eau... superbes activités... les options sur ce qu'il y a à manger étaient impressionnantes... tant de choses à faire... ça vaut le prix... ça me manque déjà... j'y retournerai sans aucun doute

Le centre de villégiature est magnifique.

Le centre de villégiature est formidable. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La nourriture à la carte était excellente. Le buffet..... pas autant. Le seul inconvénient est que nous avions demandé 4 chambres avec vue sur l'océan. J'ai vérifié une semaine avant notre départ et on m'a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de surréservation et que nous aurions nos chambres avec vue sur l'océan. À notre arrivée, on nous a dit qu'il n'y avait pas de chambres avec vue sur l'océan et que nous avions été surclassés [... lire plus] dans des suites. Les chambres étaient agréables mais si j'avais voulu bénéficier de l'emplacement des suites, j'aurais réservé une suite. Je préférais l'emplacement des autres chambres. Je ne sais pas s'ils étaient vraiment surchargés ou s'ils essayaient juste d'être gentils avec un surclassement. Cela aurait été bien d'avoir le choix.

Resort is wonderful. The resort is great. We had a wonderful time. Ala carte food was great. Buffet.....not so much. The only other down side was that we had requested 4 ocean view rooms. I double checked a week before we left to be told that there was no over booking and that we would get our ocean view rooms. Upon arriving we were told there were no ocean view rooms and that we had been upgraded to suites. The rooms were nice but if I would have wanted the location of the suites I would have booked a suite. I prefered the location of the other rooms. Not sure if they really were over booked or just trying to be nice with an upgrade. It would have been nice to have the choice.

Beautiful Resort

Nous avons visité ce centre de villégiature du 22 au 29 juillet 2014. Nous étions un peu en avance pour l'enregistrement, alors nous avons déjeuné et sommes revenus pour obtenir la clé de notre chambre. Les chambres étaient belles et propres et adéquates pour ce dont nous avions besoin. L'ascenseur pour notre zone n'a pas été utilisé pendant toute la durée de notre séjour. Nous avons trouvé un moyen plus facile d'accéder à notre chambre qui se trouvait au 3ème étage. Nous avons également appréci [... lire plus]é le wifi gratuit, et avons trouvé qu'il fonctionnait mieux dans le hall. La télévision fonctionnait très bien et nous n'avons eu aucun problème avec la douche ou l'air conditionné. La femme de chambre Ofelia, qui était très gentille, a nettoyé notre chambre tous les jours et j'ai apprécié les serviettes propres, qui étaient belles et grandes. Nous n'avions pas de réfrigérateur dans notre chambre mais nous avons trouvé qu'il ne nous manquait pas vraiment. Nous avions un coffre-fort dans notre chambre et il était facturé 3,00 par jour. Le coffre-fort a bien fonctionné pour nous. Nous avons apprécié la nourriture toute la semaine au buffet qui était une très belle salle à manger et qui était climatisée. L'hôtesse qui nous a accueillis était Tania et notre famille a vraiment apprécié qu'elle nous salue chaque soir et qu'elle nous installe à notre table chaque soir. Tania est un atout pour cet hôtel, elle est tout simplement adorable. Nous avons apprécié tous nos repas chaque soir et je dois mentionner Lucas, Raul et Allan, d'excellents serveurs qui nous ont toujours accueillis avec le sourire et se sont toujours occupés de nos boissons. Nous avons également visité un alacart qui était le steak house et nous avons apprécié ce restaurant, vous pouvez obtenir un steak mais aussi un certain nombre d'autres choix variés. Le service était parfait et le serveur, je dois le mentionner, est Abraham, très sympathique et toujours attentif à chaque détail de notre repas. Ma fille et ma nièce âgées de 18 et 22 ans ont adoré la piscine du catalonia riviera side où se déroulaient les animations. Mon mari et moi avons apprécié la plage à l'extrême gauche du complexe. L'avant de la plage est assez rocailleux et je vous conseille de porter des chaussures d'eau. Cependant, à gauche, la plage est agréable et sablonneuse et nous avons pu y nager, et il y a beaucoup de poissons à y trouver, ce qui est assez amusant pour faire du snorkling. Il n'y a pas de longue plage ici, mais mon mari et moi avons apprécié de nous promener sur la promenade en planches chaque soir, nous avons vraiment apprécié le fait que ce complexe soit très proche de l'océan, c'était tout simplement charmant. Les serviettes de plage étaient super, vous pouviez les échanger quand vous en aviez besoin et Bernardo était très sympathique chaque jour, il nous saluait et chaque fois que nous passions devant la cabane à serviettes, il nous appelait toujours pour nous saluer. Ma fille et ma nièce voulaient mentionner Javier qui était à la piscine du Catalonia Riviera, toujours sociable et amical. Les animations en soirée étaient correctes, c'est une station tranquille pour ma nièce et ma fille qui recherchaient plus d'action, quant à mon mari et moi, nous avons apprécié de nous coucher tôt car nous étions fatigués par l'activité de la journée. Le départ a été assez facile, mais je n'ai qu'une seule plainte à formuler : l'hôtel nous a demandé de payer le coffre-fort en monnaie canadienne, ce que nous avons fait, et le coffre-fort coûtait 21,00 $. Cependant, lorsque mon mari a payé les frais, la réceptionniste, Gabriella, s'est montrée très impolie et nous a dit qu'elle n'acceptait pas notre pièce de monnaie. Je comprends cela, mais ils nous ont demandé spécifiquement de la monnaie canadienne. Nous apportons toujours de la monnaie américaine avec nous et elle s'est donc montrée très impolie et nous a dit des choses très désagréables à mon mari et moi. C'est la quatrième fois que nous venons au Mexique et nous avons toujours de la monnaie américaine sur nous. Sinon, tout était parfait dans ce centre de villégiature. Je recommanderais ce centre de villégiature, mais je suggérerais qu'il détermine la devise dans laquelle il aimerait que les frais du coffre-fort soient payés.

We visited this resort July 22-29, 2014. We were a bit early to check in so we had lunch and came back to get the key to our room. The rooms were nice and clean and adequate for what we needed. The elevator for our area was not in use the entire time we were there. We did find a easier way to get to our room that was on the 3rd floor. We also loved the free wifi, and found that it worked best in the lobby. The tv worked great and we had no problems with the shower or air conditioning. The room attendent Ofelia who was very nice cleaned our room daily and I appreciated the clean towels they were nice and big. We did not have a fridge in our room but we found we didn't really miss having one. We had a safe in our room and there was a charge of 3.00/day. The safe worked fine for us. We enjoyed the food all week at the buffet which was a very nice dining room and it was air conditioned. The hostess who greeted us was Tania and our family really enjoyed her greeting us each evening and seating us at our table each night. Tania is a great asset to this hotel she is just lovely. We enjoyed all our meals here every night and I must mention Lucas, Raul, and Allan, they were excellent servers who always greeted us with a smile and always looked after our drinks as well. We also visited one alacart which was the steak house and we enjoyed this restaurant, you could get steak but also a number of other variety of choices as well. Our service was perfect and the server I must mention is Abraham, very friendly and always looked after every detail of our meal there. My daughter and niece ages 18 and 22 loved the pool at the catalonia riviera side where the entertainment took place. My husband and I enjoyed the beach to the far left of the resort. The front of this resorts beach is quite rocky and I would suggest water shoes. However to the left it is nice and sandy and we were able to swim over there, and there are lots of fish to be found there too quite fun snorkling. There is not a long beach here, but my husband and I enjoyed a walk on the board walk each night, we really enjoyed the fact that this resort is very close to the ocean, it was just lovely. The beach towls were great you could exchange them whenever you needed and Bernardo was very friendly every day he greeted us and whenever we went by the towel hut always called out a greeting. My daughter and niece wanted to mention Javier who was at the Catalonia Riviera pool, always social and friendly. The entertainment in the evening was ok, it is a quiet resort for my niece and daughter who were looking for more action, as for my husband and I we enjoyed a early night as we were tired from the activity throughout the day. Check out was quite easy, however I only have one complaint, the resort asked to have the safe paid in Canadian currency, so we did and the safe was 21.00. However when my husband paid the fee the desk person Gabriella, was quite rude that they did not except our coin. I understand that but they asked specifically for Canadian. We always bring US currency with us and so she was quite rude and said some very impolite things to my husband and I. So They want Canadian but not our coined dollar which is the loonie, I am not sure what other dollar she expected us to have. This is our fourth time in Mexico and we always carry US currency with us. Otherwise everything here at this resort was great. I would recommend this resort, however I would suggest this resort figure out what currency they would like their fee of the safe paid in.

Belle station, plage médiocre

Le resort est très bien, la nourriture est très bonne, avec des margaritas accueillantes tous les jours, mais la plage est vraiment nulle. Il y a un peu de sable d'un côté de la plage, mais l'eau... Il faut des chaussures pour y entrer. Le fond est constitué de rochers et de mauvaises herbes, c'est donc très rude et glissant. Le seul truc sympa qu'ils ont sur place et que je n'ai trouvé nulle part ailleurs, c'est la plongée avec masque et tuba. Vous pouvez faire un peu de snorkeling sur la plage [... lire plus] de l'hôtel. Les enfants s'amuseront... Donc, si vous aimez la plage, allez ailleurs, si vous aimez juste vous allonger sur la plage, et que vous n'aimez pas aller dans l'eau, alors ça va. Dans l'ensemble, ce n'est pas un mauvais hôtel, si vous ne tenez pas compte de la plage.

Nice resort , poor beach The resort is very good , food is very good , with welcoming margaritas everyday , but the beach sucks big time. There is little bit sand on one side of the beach , but the water... U need shoes to go inside. The bottom is all rocks , and full of weeds, so is very ruff and sliperry. The one nice thing they have on site and i didn t find anywhere else, is the snorkeling. You can do little bit snorkelink right the , on the hotel's beach . Kids will have fun .So, if you are a beach person, go somewhere else , if you just like to lay on the beach , and u don t like to get in the water, than u r ok. Overall, not a bad resort , if u ignore the beach part.

Un lieu de séjour idéal

C'est un lieu de villégiature charmant et le quartier de Maya regorge de choses à faire. J'aime l'échelle moyenne de l'endroit par rapport à certains grands complexes qui nécessitent une voiturette de golf pour se déplacer. Les chambres étaient propres et très confortables. Les restaurants sont transportés et savoureux. Le chef des sushis fait un excellent show. J'ai voyagé seule et je me suis fait beaucoup d'amis. Comme vous l'avez peut-être lu, les coraux sont proches du rivage et il faut fair [... lire plus]e très attention à ne pas se faire érafler. J'ai acheté des chaussures d'eau pour cela. J'y retournerais pour plus de plongée et pour échapper à l'emprise de l'hiver.

Great place to stay This is a lovely resort and the Maya area is just bustling with things to do . I like the medium scale of the place compared with some of the larger resorts that require a golf cart to get around. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Restaurants carried and tasty. The sushi chef does a great show. I travelled as a single and made so many friends. As you may have read the corals are close to shore requiring special care not to get scraped. I bought some water shoes for that. I would go back for more scuba and to escape winters grip.

Catalonia Yucatan Resort

Nous avons séjourné au Catalonia Yucatan Resort du 1er au 8 mai. C'était un très beau complexe, beaucoup de piscines, beaucoup de chaises à la plage ou à la piscine, une nourriture et un service excellents et beaucoup d'activités pas trop loin du complexe. La seule chose est que le complexe est loin de l'aéroport de Cancun et nous avons été déçus par la plage. Mais à part ça, c'était génial !

We stayed at the Catalonia Yucatan resort from May 1st to 8th. It was a very nice resort, lots of pools, lots of chairs at the beach or pool, great food and service and lots of activities not too far from the resort. The only thing was that the resort is far from the Cancun airport and we were dissapointed with the beach. But other than that it was great!

Un endroit merveilleux

Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse loin du climat canadien du début du printemps. L'emplacement est excellent - très sûr, propre, non loin des attractions touristiques (Tulum, Rio Secreto, parcs d'attractions), et il se trouve dans une communauté fermée avec une petite marina, un musée et un delphinarium - vous pouvez faire une petite promenade pour voir les dauphins, les restaurants locaux et les magasins (nous l'avons fait). Le complexe dispose d'un joli petit lagon, ce qui est un grand [... lire plus] avantage pour les familles avec des enfants ou lorsque l'océan est agité et qu'il est difficile de nager. La plage est magnifique, mais rocailleuse, et les chaussures d'eau sont très utiles. Vous pouvez les acheter dans un petit magasin situé dans l'hôtel. Le récif est mort, il n'y a pas grand-chose à voir pour les amateurs de plongée avec masque et tuba. Le personnel est très serviable et travailleur ; ces petits Mayas se déplacent vite ! Mon mari ne donne pas beaucoup de pourboires, mais il n'a pas pu s'empêcher d'exprimer son appréciation. Nous avons eu d'excellents dîners dans des restaurants à la carte (japonais, mexicain et italien) ; les menus n'étaient pas très copieux, mais la nourriture était excellente. Les cuisiniers du restaurant japonais sont très divertissants et méritent d'être vus. N'oubliez pas de demander des desserts ! Dans les restaurants italiens et mexicains, les desserts étaient de véritables œuvres d'art, et ils étaient également délicieux. Les crêpes d'un petit café étaient également très bonnes, nous en avons mangé pour quelques dîners, et ce café de crêpes proposait également un très bon cappuccino. Malheureusement, il n'y a pas beaucoup d'endroits (il vaut mieux dire presque aucun, seul le bar à crêpes était ouvert après 17 heures) où l'on peut se procurer un bon café. Nous avons séjourné dans une chambre basique, qui correspondait à nos besoins (nous n'y sommes allés que pour dormir), les lits étaient confortables, pas de problèmes avec l'eau, le nettoyage, les serviettes, etc. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons été très satisfaits de notre choix et nous recommandons vivement ce complexe.

Wonderful place We had a wonderful week away from Canadian early spring weather. The location is great, - very secure, clean, not far from touristy attractions (Tulum. Rio Secreto, amusement parks), plus it is in a gated community with a little marina, museum, and dolphinarium, - you can have a little walk to see dolphins, local restaurants, and shops (we did) . The resort has a nice little lagoon, which is a big bonus for families with kids or when the ocean is rough and swimming is difficult. The beach is great, yet rocky, watershoes help a lot. You can buy them in a little store right in the resort. The reef is dead though, not so much to see if you are a snorkeler. The staff is very helpful and hardworking; oh boy those little Mayan people move fast!!! My husband is a hard tipper, but he could not resist to express his appreciation. We had lovely dinners in a la carte restaurants (Japanese, Mexican, and Italian); menus were not very big, but food was great. Cooks in Japanese restaurant are very entertaining, worth to see. Do not forget to ask for deserts! They were pieces of art in Italian and Mexican restaurants, and very delicious too. The crepes in a little cafe were very good too, we had them for few dinners, also this crepe cafe had a very nice cappuccino. Sadly, there are not so many places (better to say almost none, only the crepe bar which was open after 5 pm only) to get a decent cap of coffee. We stayed in a basic room, which suited our needs (we went there only to sleep), beds were comfortable, no problems with water, cleaning, towels etc. Overall, we have been very happy with our resort choice, and highly recommend this resort.

Un beau complexe familial

Tout était bien....famille a apprécié la petite taille de l'hôtel et de la région. Les divertissements étaient bons. Les buffets étaient corrects. Les restaurants étaient bons, nous avons apprécié chacun d'entre eux. Le personnel est formidable. Il n'y a pas beaucoup de plage, mais les piscines fonctionnent bien.

nice family resort All was good....family enjoyed the small feel of the hotel and area. The entertainment was good. Buffets were decent. Restaurants were good, we enjoyed each one. Staff are awesome. Not much beach, but the pools worked well.

Station balnéaire décente.

Nous avions une chambre vue "jardin" assez datée et assez proche de la plage (très) corallienne, ce qui rendait l'accès à l'eau difficile. Il y a un petit accès à la plage de sable un peu plus loin, mais il ne représente que 10% de l'accès à la plage du resort. Le buffet était bon, comme tous les restaurants. Les divertissements nocturnes étaient également respectables. La salle de jeux climatisée était agréable, avec billard, ping-pong et table de jeu de dames. Les bars ne manquaient pas et les [... lire plus] boissons étaient bonnes. Le complexe voisin avait une meilleure piscine et nous avons apprécié de jouer au volley-ball de plage dans les deux endroits. Apportez une canne à pêche, les poissons mordent comme des fous dans le lagon peu profond près du complexe !

Decent resort. We had a pretty dated "garden" view room that was pretty close to the (very) coral-ly beach which made water access difficult. There is a small sandy beach access a bit further, but it only represents 10% of the resort's beach access. The buffet was good,as were all the restaurants. The nightly entertainment was respectable as well. The air-conditioned game room was enjoyable , and it had billiards, ping pong, and a checkers table. There was no shortage of bars and the drinks were good. The next-door resort had a better each, and we enjoyed playing beach volleyball in both places. Bring a fishing rod, the fish bite like crazy in the shallow water lagoon near the resort!

Le centre de villégiature était très propre ! La plage était petite - les chaises longues étaient trop proches. Nous avons pris des chaussures d'eau pour l'océan et nous en sommes ravis ! Il y a des rochers sur les trois premiers mètres. Il y avait des services "privilégiés" qui n'étaient pas inclus dans le prix de notre réservation. Ils vendent ces services au moment de l'enregistrement. Nous voyagions en famille (6 personnes), ce qui aurait ajouté $$$ à un budget déjà établi. Nous avions l'imp [... lire plus]ression d'être dans deux classes de personnes. J'aurais aimé le savoir au moment de la réservation. Le personnel était très amical et heureux de pouvoir aider. L'excursion ATV Explorer a été un vrai plaisir ! Je la referai sans aucun doute. L'excursion shopping était amusante mais nous sommes allés d'abord dans une fabrique de bijoux (on nous avait dit que nous verrions comment les bijoux étaient fabriqués). Dans l'ensemble, les vacances en famille ont été très agréables. De bons souvenirs ont été créés !

Nice resort The resort was very clean! The beach was small - lounge seating was too close. We took water shoes for the ocean and glad we did! There are rocks for the first ten feet or so. They had 'privileged' services that were not included in our booking price. They up sell these services at check in. We were travelling as a family (6) so would have added $$$ to a budget that had already been set. Felt like two classes of people. Would have liked to have known this when booking. The staff were very friendly and happy to be of assistance. The ATV Explorer excursion was a blast! Would definitely do that one again. The shopping excursion was fun but went to a jewellery factory first (told we would see how jewellery was made) It was just a hard sell on over priced jewellery The shopping was fun. Overall a fun family vacation. Great memories were made!

Station balnéaire agréable et tranquille

C'était la première fois que nous allions dans un centre de vacances. Nous l'avons choisi parce qu'il était plus petit et qu'il y avait peu d'enfants (nous laissions les nôtres derrière nous). C'est exactement ce que nous avons obtenu, aucun vendeur ne nous a approchés, aucun membre du personnel n'est venu nous offrir des boissons ou des en-cas, ce qui m'a beaucoup plu. Nous voulions un endroit calme. La chambre avait une très bonne climatisation, mais les bâtiments avaient besoin d'un peu d'ent [... lire plus]retien. Nous avons passé notre temps dans l'océan (pas dans les piscines), c'était agréable de pouvoir faire de longues promenades et de faire quelques recherches dans les petits magasins, la marina, etc. sans avoir besoin de quitter la région.

Nice, quiet resort This was our first time to a resort. We choose this because it was a smaller resort with few children, (as we were leaving ours behind). This is exactly what we got, there was no sales people that approached us, no staff coming to offer drinks or snacks, which I was very happy about. We wanted a quiet place. The room had extremely good AC, but the buildings needed some maintenance. We spent our time in the ocean (not in the pools), it was nice to be able to go on long walks, and do some looking in small stores, marina, etc with out needing to leave the area.

Nice resort Elevators were a consistant problem, stairwells not very well lit. The crepe bar was fantastic The alcohol was watered down The hotel rooms were more than adequate The staff are fantastic and very helpful The tours were not done as explained

Décent

Les piscines étaient excellentes, c'est là qu'il y avait le plus d'action. Le personnel était excellent et le ballon de volley-ball était situé de telle sorte qu'il n'était jamais difficile de trouver des joueurs. Il y avait une belle petite zone de plage avec de la plongée en apnée et des eaux plus calmes. Les seules plaintes étaient que nous avions un toit qui fuyait (mais ils ont amélioré notre chambre) et que la zone principale de la plage était rocheuse et pas super fonctionnelle

Decent Pools were excellent ,, that's where a lot of the action was at. Staff was excellent and volleyball ball was located such that it was never hard to find players there wasa beautiful little Beach area with snorkeling and calmer waters only complaints were that we had a leaky roof (but they upgraded or room) and that the main Beach area was rocky and not super functional

Séjour agréable

Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent moment. Les gens étaient amicaux, beaucoup d'Européens, et le personnel était très serviable. Le terrain était merveilleusement entretenu et la nourriture était bonne. Quelques problèmes avec certaines chambres, car ce complexe aurait besoin de quelques rénovations majeures. C'est un bâtiment fatigué qui aurait besoin d'un coup de pouce. La plage était superbe.

Enjoyable stay Overall, we had a wonderful time. People were friendly, lots of Europeans, and staff were very helpful. Grounds were kept wonderfully, and food was good. A few issues with some rooms as this resort could use some major renovations. It is a tired building that could use some pick me up. Beach was great.
