Above Exceptional!

This facility is the most amazing resort we have ever been too. My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding anniversary and it was most amazing to the food, the cleanliness of the resort and our room. The staff was most attentive and I must say that Yazury Moreno at the Grill Restaurant provide excellent and amazing service. Say hi to her if you go there!

Very consistant over the years it is our 6 visits

You just ask and you get.The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Adults site with a very relaxed atmosphere,no rush,no line up,no pain (8/9 restaurants on site. I walk 6/7 km a day on the beach,the closest hotel is abount 2 milles on each side of the EXCELLENCE resort.

Perfect honeymoon!

From the moment we stepped foot on the property it was paradise. Every staff member was so kind and happy. Once we got to the room , it exceeded our expectations., it was big with lots of space and very clean. 10 different restaurants, all with great options and entertainment every night ! The beach and pool area were amazing, always clean and lots of staff there to get drinks or food for you. I can't wait to come back! This resort was perfect for honeymooners , so romantic especially with their [... lire plus] honeymoon package. My husband and I had the time of our lives.

Very Nice Resort

This resort was very clean and well taken care of . Restaurants were excellent with the exception that men had to wear pants in 6 of 9 restaurants . Short walk to everything and they served top shelve liquor and Beer . No wrist bands or booking restaurants required , just show up . Only real negative was that there is not a lot of shade around the pools .

Fabulous experience, more than I expected

The resort was immaculate, clean, beautiful and more that I expected. We were in the least expensive room and it was spotless, great facilities (ie rain shower and amazing water pressure). The pool and grounds were clean, large and never over crowded. Food was good and lots of variety. The beach had seaweed, that is apparently at a record high this year, but every day they cleaned as best as they could. The staff was friendly, kind and professional. The gym outstanding (best gym I've seen so far [... lire plus] at a resort) the only negative comment I have is the shops are ridiculously over priced (ie $180 USD for a pair of earrings that should normally be $40). Overall, the trip was wonderful! I wouldMy hesitate to go back.

Not the best "bang for your buck"!

Trip was nice because we made it nice. This was our second time at the resort and a lot has changed since we were there 4 years ago...and not for the better. I had bug bites on my legs and feet from sand fleas in the bed and would get bitten by mosquitos while walking to the restaurants for dinner. Also too many people walking around trying to sell you excursions which got to be too much when you are trying to relax by the pool. The beach is no longer groomed or so it would seem. The amount of s [... lire plus]eaweed found along the beach in front of the resort was a big disappointment. 4 years ago the beach was cleaned every morning...not any more. Restaurants were o.k....nothing to write home about and the food in general was loaded with salt and was a disappointment. Along with the room service....long wait times and the food not good at all. Did we get good value for what we paid?...I would say no. We would have went back to Secrets because it is much better but the resort was full during the time we wanted to go. Would I go back? No...and I probably wouldn't recommend this place to people as the value and quality of food is just not there for what you are paying.

Excellente!!!

It was an excellent resort. Service was above and beyond. It is very clean and activities are well organized. Always something to do if you wish or you can just relax beside the pool or by the beautiful beach. Seating beside the pool or on the beach were never an issue. There are no issues with the merchants just outside the resort on the beach. They will come to you, but will back off if you are not interested. Food is replenished on a regular basis at the breakfast buffet and there are lots  [... lire plus]to choose from. The a la carte restaurants are plentiful and have a wide selection on the menu. Always something to eat. The drinks are delicious too! There are many active facilities available -- squash, tennis, bike tour, water sports, pool and ping pong tables and a gym. The gym is beyond what I expected. Friendly face upon arrival. Great equipment. Enjoyed every morning there after a run on the beach and a run through the botanical garden. This visit was for our niece's wedding. It was very nicely organized. The meal, arrangements and photos were fantastic. All the staff are friendly and very accommodating. It's clear to see they want everyone to have a great trip. Thank you staff at the Excellence especially Brianna, Arjenis and Hector. You all went above and beyond to make our trip enjoyable. P&M

Relaxing Vacation

Adults only was a huge plus, made for a very relaxing Vacation. Food was better then other all inclusives we've been to. Resort was very well kept. Staff were very friendly. Beach and pools were beautiful.

One of my "old" favourites

Enjoyed this hotel almost 10 years ago, went back last year...it's showing its age. Great quality and tremendous service. Very small, quaint resort setting. Our room was 87 steps to the beach (yes I measured) it started us as Excellence fans and we've enjoyed the newer Excellence Playa Mujures because of this resort, our "new" fave. Great brand, this location could use a facelift but the beach is spectacular. It's not a for kids, the report or the beach as thee always seems to be a surf on there [... lire plus]. Great fun on a boogie board. Lastly, it's located away from everything, so great if you're not venturing out, just staying out for relaxing...this is the place for that but it was the last resort on the way from the airport. No big deal to me but be aware of this if you want to be on excursions etc.

3rd Time back.

Everything was wonderful - service exceptional. Our third time returning to this resort and we have normally never gone to the same place twice. Beach did have seaweed this time of year but they were out every day clearing it. Never an issue with finding a chair by pool or by beach.

Excellent Service

The service at this resort was some of the best we have ever had.The entertainment staff was terrific.The beach was not the best, but the pool area was great. The room was clean and anytime you needed something it was there within a short period of time.

Punta Cana Excellence

Unbelievable resort and location. The service was beyond excellent and the staff were friendly, courteous and extremely helpful. Best vacation we have ever had. We are already going to book to go back next year. We are going to bring a few of our friends along too.

The most beautiful resort we have ever been to.

This hotel was amazing, service is exceptional, grounds beautiful and the staff went over and beyond to make our vacation the best ever! We would thank Luis at the main bar, the staff at the beach cabana rental, as well as several others. From arriving to departing our trip was easy and everything flowed so well. We loved that you did not need to make any reservations for any of the restaurants so no rushing from the beach to get ready for dinner.

All inclusive at it's best

This is an amazing all-inclusive resort. The expansive well manicured lawns encompass beautiful swaying palm trees right at the beautiful sandy beach and blue turquoise water. The staff is unbelievably friendly. The food is excellent and it can be only compared to Excellence Punta Cana

We have been to the resort 3yrs. in a row it is like going home we know alot of the staff starting at the front desk you have Marlon after meeting him you know your stay will be great than you have Roberto at guest services you could not find a better person for the job this guy is a huge asset his boss should be proud it would be hard to mention everybody from resturant staff to the activities people Luthz and Cassandra not sure on the the spelling sorry food is awesome rooms are the same want  [... lire plus]to go back this year but prior commitments will miss it.

Excellence punt cana

traveled first week of feb/14. we had a great time at this resort. there was plenty of staff and all were very attentive and willing to please. the resort was beautiful and well kept. our room was newer and very clean with a fully stocked bar. the weather was great although the water was very rough every day which would be our only complaint about this resort. we were there for super bowl and they put on the best super bowl party we have ever been to. we would definitely recommend and return to  [... lire plus]this resort

Great Resort!!

We recently stayed at the Excellence in Punta Cana and had an amazing trip! The grounds are beautiful rooms are clean and spacious, the beach is stunning, and the staff were "EXCELLENTE"! When we first arrived the room we were given was not up to par, it was at the back and had this damp mildew smell. But after a quick talk to the manager we were given a beautiful swim up suite. Food was delicious, especially the all you can eat lobster :) Overall we had an amazing trip and would definetely retu [... lire plus]rn, although next time we want to try the Excellence in Mexico!

Excellent

We had a room right by the pool with a deck. The rooms are clean and large. The ocean can be rough at times but you can walk down and its calm. Service at the beach is great. The food and entertainment were great.
