We had a wonderful time

The staff were very friendly and tried to help whenever they could even though they couldn't understand English very well. The pool was amazing and my 3 kids ages 8,5 and 2 spent most of their time there. For some reason there was a lot of seaweed while we were there but the locals said they had never seen that much before. The hotel worked hard to clear what was on the beach continuasly. We had the best weather, beautiful everyday... And when it did rain it was only a shower and then the sun wo [... lire plus]uld return. Even saw a rainbow. The food was good .. Always found something to eat and the deserts were plentiful . Drinks were always good and the beer was nice and light , perfect for the hot weather. The banana mama was yummy. We stayed in a sweet cause there was five of us and I thought it was pretty and it accommodated us just fine. Only downside is the beds are hard. Can't beat the view though. Plus who really wants to sleep too long anyways while on vacation ;) We did the dolphin excursion with the kids and although we had a lot of fun I was very disappointed that it was all about taking pictures and smiling and posing for their camera. And then come to find out the pictures they were selling were $40 US a peice . Or the package was over $200 for just 3 of us who interacted with the dolphins. My husband was allowed to take pictures but he was pretty far away so they didn't turn out very well. Be prepared to bring a great camera with a telephoto lense or pay. $$ for the pictures you want. The water park at this resort is amazing .. Something for all ages, my kids myself and my husband had a blast. You can also get food and beer at the water park .. But it's not too much of a walk if you want to go back to the resort buffet. We had a great family vacation and I would recommend this resort traveling with a young family . Your kids will love it and that will make your vacation that much better. They also have activities for the kids like ice cream party and popcorn party. Miss hello kitty

Great family resort!

The hotel was great, we travelled with 4 kids under 12 and a 3 month old baby. We managed to have a great time. Can't say enough about the friendly and kind staff who made our holiday unforgettable. The food was great, even our picky eaters were pleased with all the options!

Don't go to this resort

The hotel was terrible for the following reasons: The rooms are dated. The pillows are lumpy. The bathroom needs a new tub. The chairs on the balcony are falling apart. The restaurants- Japanese was good, Italian(three of our party were sick. American was awful. Went to the buffet after. Steakhouse average. After talking to other guests we ended up using the buffet the rest of the visit. The waterpark was great for the younger crowd who could make it down. If you ran to the waterpark you might m [... lire plus]ake it in 2 minutes otherwise it was 15 minute walk with children. I could not use the golf cart to be transported down. One of the staff pushed me in a wheel chair. The golf cart was for VIP Only.

Disappointing

We traveled with a group of 12. It included seniors and young children. We booked one bedroom suites with a pullout couch. What we got was a large room with a half wall with two double beds and a futon. The park while amazing was a good 5-10 min walk.... This was fine for us younger people however the seniors in our group could not make the walk and therefore could not join us at the water park..... There is no transportation around the large resort or to the water park offered unless you buy in [... lire plus]to their VIP program. There were no activities offered that we could find and their entertainment staff was non-existent. The food was always cold and long waits both for food and at the bars. The resort was very clean however they would take our dirty towels away around 9 am and we would not receive new ones until 9 or 10 at night. Even then we had to beg for 4 towels when they would only give is one for a family of 4. Overall disappointing

Great resort

At firSt I was ready to come back to write a horrible review, I had a long day traveling with two small kids I was tired hot and our rooms were not ready. Keep in mind check in isn't til 3pm the ladies who clean bust theor butts cleaning all those rooms so don't be too upset your room may not be ready. The room wasn't to my standard at firSt because I was in a mood. After things settled and we got ready to go to the pool I realized something important, I was a vacation with my family. The room w [... lire plus]as fine it served it's purpose. The buffet food was ok. the Japanese restaurant is a MUST route 66 stay away mexican is good too. The Italian also very good . The grounds very well kept I found the resort as a while very nice could use a few upgrades but overall very nice. the Waterpark is a nice addition for small aND big kids. We went on the pirate excursion that took us to stingrays and sharks that was AMAZING a must excursion. so from someone who was ready to say nothing but bad things actually really enjoyed myself and my kids had a fantastic time.

Good resort

We enjoyed the resort. The room was great except that there was a leak in our bathroom. The service was amazing. The staffs were accommodating. We thing they should have more activities for the kids club.

Very comfortale layout

nice pool layout for children and adults,beach was great ,service was great, staffwere over the top friendly and abliging.the food waswonderful a good vaiety of all the things i like.the entertanment was great i dont have one complaint i would definetly return thanks

Amazing resort!

Fantastic resort for a family. Water park, the beach and the pools were great. The beach and the waters were breathtaking. Many wonderful and exciting things to do everyday with the kids. Very friendly staff.

Nice for families with kids!

the good: the long pools, the aqua park, large beachfront, fun place for kids, everything's in short distance walk, they accept a family with 3 kids in a suite. In general a nice 3 stars hotel for family fun. the so-so: the rooms (even the ones that are renovated look tarnished and old), not much service in general, zero service on the beach the bad: long waiting time at reception at arrival (3h), towels in the room and water always late (they had a shortage), mosquitos (a lot of them - they'll  [... lire plus]eat you alive after 19:00 if you're close to the gardens)

A Terrific Resort

Everything about Sirenis Tropical is great. The beach and grounds are exceptional. The rooms are clean and well kept. The food is quite good and the restaurant staff are wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend The Sirenis. I'll be going back.

Amazing Resort

This hotel is everything that it says it is, plus more. The staff was great. The entertainment crew were wonderful. They went out of their way, to keep all members of our family entertained. Everyday was different from the previous. The resort itself has a lot of to offer. Beach, pool, several restaurants , big screen TV, water park, it can go on forever.
