Un excellent rapport qualité/prix pour ce centre de villégiature

Ce complexe est considéré comme un hôtel 5 étoiles, mais d'après mon opinion, je pense qu'il s'agit d'un hôtel 4 étoiles selon les normes internationales. Pour le prix que nous avons payé, la qualité et la variété de la nourriture sont excellentes. Les divertissements nocturnes sont agréables à regarder, mais un peu plus d'options de divertissements nocturnes serait bien. L'hôtel est beau, les piscines et la plage sont typiques des autres complexes hôteliers. Le personnel est sympathique et  [... lire plus]amical. Le bar des sports et les snacks 24 heures sur 24 sont la pire partie de l'hôtel. Ils proposent des plats préparés dans un réfrigérateur que les clients doivent passer au micro-ondes et manger. Dans l'ensemble, c'est un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais si vous êtes un client de luxe 5 étoiles tout compris, je ne m'y aventurerais pas.

Great Value for this Resort This resort is considered to be a 5 star hotel, but based on my opinion, I believe it is a 4 start hotel in international rating standards. For the price we paid, the food quality and variety is strong. The nightly entertainment is fun to watch, but a few more optional nightly entertainment options would be great. The hotel looks nice, and the pools and beach are typical to other resorts. The staff are nice and friendly. The sports bar and the 24 hour snacks is the worst part of it. They provide ready made food in a fridge that requires guests to microwave and eat. Overall, great value for what you pay, but if you are a luxury 5 star all inclusive customer, I would pass on this.

Station très propre, personnel travaillant 24 heures sur 24 au nettoyage. La piscine était superbe. Le personnel était amical et serviable. La nourriture était incroyable, j'ai mangé dans tous les restaurants et je n'ai jamais été déçu. A recommander à tout le monde.

Amazing resort Very clean resort, staff working around the clock cleaning. Pool was amazing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Food was incredible, ate at all of the restaurants never left disappointment. Would recommend to anyone.

Belle station balnéaire

Le resort it’s très agréable propre avec de bons services dans tous les domaines de la part du personnel. Longue plage de sable donc pas beaucoup de chaises longues disponibles et pas très facile de faire du kayak cuz le drapeau rouge est presque tous les jours même avec de petites vagues. Beaucoup de choix de nourriture frais et de bonne qualité

Beautiful resort The resort it’s very nice clean with good services in all areas from the staff. Long sandy beach therefore not many long chairs available and not very easy to do kayaking cuz the red flag is almost every day even with small waves. Many food choices fresh and good quality

Nous avons apprécié chaque minute de notre séjour !

L'hôtel, les jardins et la plage sont magnifiques. La nourriture était excellente, le personnel amical, professionnel et serviable. Nous avons passé un moment merveilleux et nous espérons revenir. C'est l'endroit idéal pour rajeunir l'esprit, le corps et l'âme. Bien que nous ayons vraiment apprécié notre séjour, nous suggérons de moderniser et d'entretenir un peu l'hôtel, en particulier en ce qui concerne les portes des chambres, les clés en métal devraient être remplacées par des clés à c [... lire plus]arte électronique pour plus de commodité et de sécurité. Le Riu Guanacaste a été notre maison loin de la maison pendant notre semaine tout compris au Costa Rica.

We have enjoyed every minute of our stay! Such a beautiful hotel, gardens and beach. The food was excellent, the staff friendly, professional and helpful. We had a wonderful time and we hope to be back again. It's the perfect location to rejuvenate mind, body and soul. Although we have truly enjoyed our stay, we would suggest to modernize and give the hotel a little bit of upkeep, especially when it comes to the room doors, metal keys should be replaced by with electronic card keys for convenience and added security. Riu Guanacaste was our home away from home during our all-inclusive week in Costa Rica.

Un endroit agréable, des gens merveilleux, quel endroit sur terre !

Pour des raisons personnelles, nous avons demandé une chambre qui ne soit pas au rez-de-chaussée. C'est exactement ce que nous avons obtenu, une chambre au rez-de-chaussée. Mais grâce à Diego, ce soir-là, il a trouvé une solution, et nous étions bien après tout ce stress. Merci à vous ! Et le séjour et les vacances au riu guanacaste ont été si confortables et heureux ! Nice place, wonderfull people, what a place on earth! We asked for personal reasons a room not on the ground level. It was exactly what we got, a room at ground level. But thanks to Diego, that night, he found a solution, and we were good after all that stress. Thank you ! And the stay and vacation at riu guanacaste was so comfortable and happy! Thank you Diego!

Centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Je n'ai rien à redire sur ce centre de villégiature. Il était parfait. L'enregistrement a été extrêmement rapide et agréable. Notre chambre était exactement comme demandé avec en prime une vue partielle sur l'océan. Tout était d'une propreté irréprochable. Le réfrigérateur était bien rempli. La nourriture était merveilleuse et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le personnel était très bon et toujours heureux d'aider. Ils travaillent très dur. Il y avait toujours beaucoup de chaises longues sur la [... lire plus] plage. Quelques vendeurs qui n'étaient pas vraiment gênants. Nous avons fait plusieurs excursions et les avons toutes réservées auprès du représentant de Sunwing. Les représentants de Sunwing étaient excellents et nous avons trouvé les excursions très raisonnables. Dans l'ensemble, ce furent des vacances parfaites

Outstanding resort I have nothing bad to write about this resort. It was perfect. Check in was extremely fast and pleasant. Our room was just as requested with added bonus of partial ocean view. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Fridge was well stocked. The food was wonderful and there is something for everyone’s taste. The staff were very good and always happy to help. They work extremely hard. There were always plenty of loungers on the beach. A few vendors who were not really a bother. We took several excursions and booked them all with the Sunwing rep. The Sunwing reps were excellent and we found the trips very reasonable. All in all it was a perfect vacation

Des vacances fantastiques

C'était la première fois que nous allions au Riu Guanacaste. Depuis notre arrivée jusqu'à notre départ, nous avons été très bien traités. Tout le personnel est amical, très serviable et toujours avec le sourire lorsqu'il vous accueille. Le complexe est magnifique et propre. Les terrains sont maintenus dans un état impeccable. Le buffet principal est fantastique. On ne peut rien demander de plus. Les restaurants sont étonnants. Les divertissements étaient satisfaisants. L'ensemble de l'expérienc [... lire plus]e est formidable. Les piscines sont superbes et l'ensemble de l'espace aquatique est propre toute la journée. La seule chose qui m'a déplu est l'absence de toilettes près des piscines. Je retournerai sans hésiter dans ce complexe.

Fantastic vacation Thìs was our first time to the Riu Guanacaste. Right from the time we arrived until the time we left we were treated very well. All the staff is friendly, very helpful and always with a smile when they great you. The resort is beautiful and clean. The grounds are kept in pristine condition. The main buffet is fantastic. You could not ask for anything more. The restaurants were Amazing. The entertainment was satisfactory. The whole experience was terrific. Pools are great and the entire pool area is clean all day long. The only thing I was not thrilled about us the lack of washrooms by the pools. I would definitely go back to this resort.

Grand centre de villégiature

Cet hôtel était très confortable et relaxant. L'hébergement était excellent, mais les divertissements étaient un peu décevants. De plus, le processus de réservation d'un restaurant a/la/carte était frustrant. Nous avons dû faire la queue une heure avant l'ouverture du restaurant juste pour obtenir une réservation. Il n'y avait que quatre restaurants à réserver, ce qui est loin d'être suffisant pour le nombre d'invités. La nourriture était bonne et le personnel efficace et courtois.

Great Resort This hotel was very comfortable and relaxing. The accomodations were excellent.The entertainment was a bit disappointing. Also, the process of booking an a/la/carte was frustrating. We needed to line up an hour before the restaurant opened just to get a reservation Only four restaurants for booking, not nearly enough for the amount of guests. Food was good, also staff was efficient and courteous.

Grand centre de villégiature

La chambre était superbe et propre, nous avons eu la meilleure vue (vue sur l'océan) et il se trouve que nous avons eu la meilleure chambre ! Le service client était excellent, les femmes de chambre ont fait du bon travail pour décorer nos chambres. Il y avait beaucoup de monde, vous pouviez vous joindre à la fête ou aller dans un endroit plus privé si vous préfériez.

Great resort Room was great and clean, we got the best view (ocean view) and happened to get the best room! The customer service was great, the maids did a good job decorating our rooms. Lots of people, you could join the party or go somewhere more private if you preferred.

Une belle station chaleureuse.

La station était beaucoup comme d'autres Rui nous avons séjourné à en ce qui concerne les installations. Je n'ai pas trouvé la nourriture aussi bonne que les autres visites, mais vous pouvez certainement trouver quelque chose à manger. Nous avions un peu d'océan partiel, face au nord qui était parfait, pense qu'il peut être trop chaud sur les balcons orientés vers le sud. La chambre était également juste au-dessus des animations nocturnes et nous aurions préféré les singes hurleurs au bruit d [... lire plus]es animations.

A beautiful warm resort. The resort was much like other Rui we have stayed at as far as facilities. Didn’t find the food as good as other visits but you can definitely find something to eat. We had a partial ocean few, facing north which was perfect, think it may be too hot on the balconies facing south. The room was also just above the night entertainment and would have chosen the howler monkey’s over the noise from the entertainment.

Une expérience de vacances extraordinaire !

Nous avons vécu une expérience extraordinaire dans ce complexe, très beau terrain, très bien entretenu ! Beaucoup de bars et de restaurants autour de la station, les snacks 24 heures sur 24 pourraient avoir un meilleur choix, mais les nachos nous ont permis de tenir jusqu'à l'heure des repas. Tout est très central, ce qui était agréable de ne pas avoir à marcher trop loin. Le complexe a la forme d'un U. Nous avions une chambre dans la cour intérieure au 4ème étage. Vous pouviez voir une partie d [... lire plus]e l'océan avec votre vue. Dans la cour intérieure se trouvent les restaurants, le théâtre et quelques bars. Plus haut, il y avait les piscines et le bar de la piscine. Nous n'y sommes pas allés, mais il y avait une poignée de toboggans et une aire de jeux pour enfants. Il y avait également des boutiques, une discothèque et un casino entre cet hôtel et le Riu Palace. Le personnel était très serviable et aimable, ce qui a créé une excellente atmosphère. Le personnel de Sunwing sur place était incroyable ! Tellement amical et tellement utile pour les excursions et pour répondre à toutes nos questions ! La nourriture était très variée dans le buffet et nous ne sommes allés que dans deux restaurants, l'italien était vraiment bon ! La plage est incroyable ! Tout simplement incroyable ! Il est agréable de se promener le long de la plage. En bas de l'hôtel, il y a une petite zone touristique où les singes à face blanche locaux se balancent. Ils sont si mignons et parfaits pour une petite séance de photos. Je recommande vivement ce complexe aux familles, aux célibataires et à tous ceux qui se trouvent entre les deux ! Amazing Vacation experience! We had an amazing experience at this resort, very beautiful grounds, very well maintained! Lots of bars and restaurants around the resort, 24 hr snacks could have a better selection but the nachos held us over until meal times. Everything is very centrally located, which was nice to not have to walk to far. The resort is shaped like a U we had a room in the inner court on the 4th floor. You could see some of the ocean with your view. In the court yard there is the restaurants, the theater and a couple bars. Further up was the pools including a pool bar. Included with the resort was admission to the water park, we didn't go but there were a handful of slides and a kiddy play area and it was walking distance from the front of the hotel. There was also some shops, a disco and casino between this hotel and the Riu Palace. The staff was all so helpful and kind, it really set a great atmosphere. The sunwing staff onsite were amazing! Soooo friendly and so helpful with excursions and answering all of our questions! Food had a very wide selection in the buffet and we only went to two restaurants the Italian was really good! The beach is amazing!! Just amazing! Great to walk along, down the beach from this resort there is a small touristy area where the local white faced monkeys swing by. They are so cute and great for a small photo op. I would highly recommend this resort for families or singles and anyone between! You will love your stay here

Bonne heure

J'ai vraiment passé un bon moment dans cet hôtel. La nourriture était bonne. La fête blanche du vendredi soir était géniale ! La seule chose que je changerais serait de nettoyer un peu la plage. Très rocailleuse. De plus, l'hôtel est devenu un peu vieillot. Une rénovation en ferait un endroit parfait. Le Costa Rica est un endroit extraordinaire. J'adore cet endroit et j'y retournerais à 100%

Good time I really had a great time at this hotel. Food was good. The white party on Friday night was a blast! The only thing I would change would be to clean up the beach a bit. Very rocky. Also the resort has become a bit dated. A renovation would make it a perfect place. Costa Rica is an amazing place. I love it here and I’d go again 100%

Belle station balnéaire

Le service de restauration pour les restaurants Al a cart était médiocre. Il fallait faire la queue au moins une demi-heure à l'avance. Il n'est pas possible de réserver à l'avance. L'hôtel est en retrait par rapport à l'océan... ne perdez pas votre temps et payez un supplément pour une vue sur l'océan car les vues sur le jardin sont en fait plus proches de l'océan de toute façon. J'ai payé pour une vue sur l'océan et j'ai eu une chambre qui avait un mur de ciment solide au lieu d'une [... lire plus] balustrade. Il n'y a donc pas de vue à moins de se tenir debout près du mur. Si vous vous asseyez sur les chaises du balcon, vous ne voyez que du ciment et pas de vue du tout. De même, aucune vue sur l'océan depuis l'intérieur de la chambre, on ne voyait que du ciment.

Nice resort The dining for Al a cart restaurants was poor. You had to line up for at least a half hour before hand. And no guarantee that you can get in, No opportunity to reserve ahead of time. The hotel is set back quite a bit from the ocean.. don’t waste your time and pay extra for ocean view as the garden view are actually closer to the ocean anyway. I paid for ocean view and got a room that had a solid cement wall instead of railing. Therefore no view unless you stand up near the wall. If you sit down on the balcony chairs you only see cement and no view at all. As well no view of ocean from inside the room only could see cement.

Situation exceptionnelle - station bruyante !

Le terrain de ce complexe est magnifique et l'emplacement est parfait. La nourriture et les boissons étaient assez bonnes, l'hôtel était très propre et le personnel était toujours aimable et serviable. Le parc aquatique et la piscine étaient parfaits pour les enfants et la faune locale était étonnante (tortues de mer, singes, oiseaux, iguanes). Le seul problème était le bruit du bar/club le soir. C'était TELLEMENT fort. Si vous avez une chambre donnant sur la cour, je demanderais à être déplacé [... lire plus]. Heureusement, nous étions tellement fatigués d'avoir exploré cette magnifique région que nous nous sommes endormis - mais le bruit était brutal.

Amazing location - loud resort! The grounds of this resort were stunning and the location was perfect. The food and drinks were fairly good and the hotel was very clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The water park and pool were perfect for the kids and the local wildlife was amazing (sea turtles, monkeys, birds, iguanas). One issue was the noise in the evening from the bar/club. It was SO loud. If you have a room facing the courtyard I would ask to be moved. Luckily we were so tired from exploring the beautiful region that we fell asleep - but the noise was brutal.

Nous avons séjourné au Riu Guanacaste début janvier 2020. Le personnel était exceptionnellement amical et coopératif. Les choix de nourriture dans les buffets étaient abondants et toujours frais et chauds . Les terrains étaient maintenus étonnamment propres , avec des jardins et des aménagements paysagers parfaits . Les divertissements nocturnes étaient agréablement attrayants pour tous. Nous avons manqué les deux soirées à thème du vendredi soir, mais compte tenu de toute la mise en scène, je  [... lire plus]suis sûr qu'elles auraient été formidables. Les quelques inconvénients que nous avons découverts sont l'obligation de payer pour les boissons dans la discothèque et l'impossibilité de réserver les restaurants à la carte (le premier arrivé est le premier servi et les temps d'attente sont toujours très longs). Le bar des sports ouvert toute la nuit a vraiment besoin d'être modernisé et d'ajouter un service de restauration à ses prestations (tout ce qui est disponible est une glacière avec des hamburgers froids, des hot-dogs et des sandwichs) Il n'y a rien d'autre d'ouvert après 23 heures (à part la discothèque). Dans l'ensemble, des vacances formidables et un pays magnifique. Je reviendrais certainement.

Beautiful resort We stayed at the Riu Guanacaste in early January 2020 . The staff were all exceptionally friendly and co-operative . The food choices in the buffets were plentiful and always fresh and hot . The grounds were kept amazingly clean , with picture perfect gardens and landscaping . The nightly entertainment was pleasantly appealing to all . We missed both Friday night special theme nights but based on all the staging I'm sure they would have been a blast . A few cons we discovered were having to pay for drinks in the disco and not being able to book a la carte restaurants ( they are on a first come first serve basis and always had long wait times) . The all night sports bar definitely needs updating and food service added to its services ( all that is available is a cooler with cold hamburgers and hot dogs and sandwiches ) There is nothing else open after 11PM (other than the disco). Overall a great vacation and a beautiful country . Would return for sure .

Beaucoup de caractère

Ce complexe a beaucoup de caractère. Les chambres sont propres et confortables. Les repas étaient absolument délicieux et offraient une grande variété de choix. Il y en avait pour tous les goûts. La plage est longue et spacieuse. Des structures d'ombrage et des toilettes proches seraient un plus.

Lots of character This resort has lots of character. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The meals were absolutely delicious and offered a great variety of choices . There was something for everyone. The beach wa long and spacious. Some shade structures and a close washroom facility would be a nice addition.

Excellent centre de villégiature

L'hôtel était très agréable et propre. Tout le personnel était très gentil et très heureux d'aider. La nourriture était excellente mais le palace voisin semblait avoir un meilleur choix de nourriture et de sélection. La piscine et la plage étaient très agréables et relaxantes. Le seul reproche que ma famille et moi avons fait, c'est qu'il y avait une odeur de soufre près du bar de la piscine, près de la promenade du club pour enfants.

Excellent Resort The hotel was very nice and clean. All the staff were very nice and very happy to help. The food was great but the palace next door seemed to have some better food choices and selection. The pool and beach were very nice and relaxing. The only complaint me and my family had was by the pool bar close to the walk way around the kids club is that there was a smell of sulfur/sewage.

Tout simplement merveilleux !

Du début à la fin, j'ai passé un merveilleux voyage. Le personnel de l'hôtel était sympathique, aimable et très serviable, la nourriture et les divertissements étaient tout simplement excellents. Le resort était agréable et bien espacé, il n'y avait donc jamais trop de monde au même endroit en même temps. Seul reproche : je n'ai pas vu de singe.

Just wonderful!! From start to finish I had a wonderful trip, the staff in the hotel were friendly, personable and so helpful, the food and entertainment just great. The resort was nice and spaced out so never too many people in one place at one time. Only complaint- didn’t see a monkey.

Le terrain est magnifique, l'emplacement est idéal et le personnel est formidable. Le steakhouse était génial. Le temps est délicieux. L'enregistrement a été très efficace et facile. J'aurais préféré des cartes plutôt que des clés. J'aimerais revenir.

Amazing resort Beautiful grounds great location wonderful staff. The steakhouse was awesome. The weather's delightful . Check in was every efficient and easy. Would have preferred cards instead of keys. Would love to come back again.
