nous avons apprécié notre séjour, la nourriture était excellente, le personnel était très amical et courtois. Les chambres sont très belles et bien entretenues. Le souper à la carte était excellent. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le barbecue sur la plage et les activités au lobby du knight.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Beautiful Resort

Le luxueux Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado est un véritable centre de villégiature de luxe. Il est situé sur une île entourée d'une forêt tropicale luxuriante et de jardins. The Luxury Bahia Principe Cayo Levantado is truly a luxury resort. It is situated on an island surrounded by lush, tropical forest and gardens. We had a Superior Junior Suite with a breathtaking view of the ocean. The room was beautiful and spacious. The restaurants served delicious food and the drinks were refreshing. There are two pools, a private beach and a public beach where tourists from other resorts can visit for the day. The staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this resort

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Des vacances extraordinaires

Station balnéaire fantastique, avec un personnel extraordinaire. Le personnel d'animation est le point fort avec Shorty, Coco, Carlos. La nourriture, les chambres et le complexe sont excellents. Les vendeurs sur la plage sont un peu pénibles, mais si vous êtes assez affirmatif, ils vous laissent tranquille. Nous y retournerions sans hésiter.

Amazing vacation Fantastic resort, with amazing staff. The entertainment staff are the highlight with Shorty, Coco, Carlos. Food, rooms, resort are excellente. The vendors at the beach are a bit of a pain, but if you're assertive enough, they leave you alone. We would definitely go back.

Cayo Levantado Resort: Un centre de villégiature absolument incroyable et magnifique

Le centre de villégiature était privé et fantastique à tous points de vue. Nous n'avons eu à nous plaindre de rien. La chambre, les restaurants, le personnel, le terrain, etc. ont dépassé toutes mes attentes. Je ne suis pas du genre à aimer les centres de villégiature et j'ai eu de mauvaises expériences dans d'autres centres de villégiature. Nous reviendrons certainement dans ce complexe l'année prochaine. Les photos des voyageurs et de la direction étaient parfaites... pour être honnête, les ph [... lire plus]otos de la direction ressemblaient plus à la station que les photos des voyageurs. Nous avons été très impressionnés par tous les aspects de notre séjour.

Absolutely amazing and beautiful resort The resort was private and fantastic in every way. We had no complaints at all. The room, restaurants, staff, grounds etc were above and beyond my expectations. I am not a resort kind of person and have had some bad experiences at other resorts. We will be coming back to this resort for sure next year. The travellers and management photos were spot on...to be honest the management photos were most like the resort is like than the travellers photos. Very impressed with every part of our stay.

Occidental Punta Cana: De superbes vacances !

La salle de bain n'était pas bien du tout et il y avait de l'eau partout dans la chambre à cause de la baignoire qui fuyait. Le personnel était extrêmement sympathique. A recommander.

Great vacation! The resort was overall great! Good was amazing especially the steak restaurant. The escursions were really fun! The bathroom was not good at all and there was water all over the room from the tub leaking. The staff was extremely friendly too. Would recommend.

Les chambres n'ont rien d'extraordinaire et pourraient certainement être améliorées, mais n'oubliez pas qu'il ne s'agit que d'un complexe trois étoiles. Tout le reste est de qualité cinq étoiles ! Les terrains sont absolument magnifiques, parfaitement entretenus, la nourriture est excellente, l'alcool est fort, tout est à proximité, des chambres à la plage, en passant par les piscines et les restaurants, il n'y a qu'un pas à faire ! Le personnel est toujours aimable et serviable. Nous y sommes a [... lire plus]llés pour une semaine, mais nous l'avons tellement aimé que nous sommes restés deux semaines ! Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Wonderful place to stay!! Rooms are nothing great and grand, definitely could stand some upgrading, but remember that this is only a three star resort. Everything else is five star quality!! Grounds are absolutely beautiful, immaculately kept, the food is great, the liquor is strong, everything is in close proximity, from rooms, to beach, to pools, to restaurants is just a very short jaunt!! Staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. We went for one week, loved it so much we stayed for two!! We will definitely be returning!!

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: De superbes vacances !

Ce centre de villégiature était propre et la nourriture était très bonne ! Le paysage et la plage sont magnifiques. Le seul inconvénient (qui n'était pas vraiment important) était le réapprovisionnement des serviettes pour notre chambre, car nous n'avons pas eu de serviettes propres avant la fin de l'après-midi. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Great Vacation! This resort was clean and the food was very good! Beautiful scenery and beach. The only downfall (which was not a real biggie) was the replenishing of towels for our room as we did not get clean towels until late afternoon. We would definitely go back!

Cofresi Palm Beach and Spa Resort: Une escapade rapide pour deux !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans ce complexe. Nous avons lu beaucoup de commentaires avant de réserver. Il ne faut pas oublier que nous cherchions une bonne affaire et que nous espérions avoir de la chance. Pour ce centre de villégiature, le prix était correct pour notre retraite de dernière minute et nous étions prêts à en avoir pour notre argent. En fin de compte, il a dépassé nos attentes. En rencontrant des gens autour du complexe, nous avons entendu des histoires de gens qui n'avaient pas [... lire plus] d'eau chaude, qui détestaient la nourriture, qui trouvaient des insectes dans leur chambre. Heureusement, nous avons eu des douches chaudes tous les jours, nous avons adoré la nourriture et nous n'avons pas eu de visiteurs indésirables. Je suis d'accord avec certaines critiques que j'ai lues avant de partir, à savoir que ce complexe n'est pas fait pour vous si vous ne voulez pas monter des escaliers. La plage est tout en bas et la piscine principale et le buffet sont en haut. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé car notre chambre était au milieu. La plage était juste correcte, vous pouvez marcher le long de la plage, vous baigner et il y avait beaucoup d'activités comme le parachute ascensionnel, le tubing, etc. mais la zone principale de la plage qui est montrée dans certaines des photos est en fait en dehors de la plage dans une zone clôturée en verre, donc vous n'étiez pas aussi proche de l'eau que je l'aurais voulu. Nous avons fini par passer la majorité de notre temps dans les piscines, ce qui était très bien car il y en a beaucoup !) Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Belle chambre, bonne nourriture, personnel sympathique. J'y retournerais volontiers !

Quick get away for two! We loooooooved our stay at this resort. We read a lot of reviews before booking. Keep in mind we were searching for a great deal and hoping we we would get lucky. For this resort the price was right for our last minute retreat and we were prepared to get what we paid for. In the end it exceeded our expectations. Meeting people around the resort we heard stories of people not having hot water, hating the food, finding bugs in their room. Fortunately we had hot showers every day, loved the food and had no unwanted visitors. I would agree with some of the reviews I had read before leaving, which was this resort is not for you if you don't want to climb some stairs. The beach is all the way down and the main pool and buffet is at the top. We didn't mind as or room was in the middle. The beach was just ok, you can walk down the beach, go for a swim and there were lots of activities such as parasailing, tubing, etc. but the main beach area that is shown in some of the pictures is actually up off the beach in a glass fenced in area so you weren't as close to the water as I would have liked. We ended up spending the majority of our time at the pools which was great because there are lots of them!:) All in all we had a great trip. Nice room, good food, friendly staff. I would go back again!

A part cela, l'hôtel était très fréquenté mais il n'y a eu aucun problème dans notre cas.

Amazing holiday! The hotel itself was great; grounds super! Staff really nice and helpful. Ran out of towels a few days - perhaps there should be a dedicated area for the Royal Club clients for towels. Other than that it was very busy but absolutely no problem in our case.

Fantastic resort! Resort is superb. Food is terrific. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Rooms are big and spacious. A great thank you to Kevin the Guest Sevices Manager and Rene our Guest Relations person. We ate at the Don Pablo, Mikado Teppanyaki and Portofino. We had a Gran Bahia spa relaxing carribean massage. We played a round of golf on the superb Robert Trent Jones Riviera Maya golf course. Overall we had a terrific holiday and would return in a flash!

Overall good resort for the money. This hotel had great al la cartes. The grounds were well kept. Rooms were great. Lots of activities through the day to keep you entertained and at night. Staff were friendly. Didn't have to wait much in lines for the buffets. Beach was nice.

Wyndham Alltra Samana: Un lieu de villégiature étonnamment agréable

Les aménagements autour du centre de villégiature sont excellents. Les terrains sont bien entretenus et très beaux à parcourir. Le personnel est très aimable et toujours prêt à aider, même s'il ne parle pas très bien l'anglais. La plage est magnifique. La nourriture était très bonne dans le restaurant buffet et le restaurant à la carte offrait des plats savoureux et bien présentés. Mon mari et moi y retournerons sans aucun doute.

Surprisingly great resort The amenities around the resort are great. The grounds are well kept and very beautiful to walk through. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help even with their limited ability to speak English. The beach was beautiful. The food was very good in the buffet restaurant and the a la carte restaurant offered tasty and we'll presented. My husband and I would definitely go back again.

Blue Bay Villas Doradas: 80% satisfaits

80% de satisfaction. La nourriture n'était pas la meilleure, les chambres étaient correctes. La plage était bien, les bars étaient bien, les divertissements étaient bien. Toutes les excursions étaient très bonnes. Le personnel était très accommodant et amical. La prochaine fois que notre groupe voyagera, je ferai de mon mieux pour les convaincre de choisir un 5 étoiles et de le faire à Puenta Cana.

80% Pleased 80% Pleased. Food was not the best, rooms were ok. Beach was good, bars were good, entertainment was good. All excursions were very good. Staff were very accomadating and friendly. Next time our group travels, I will do my best to convince them to do a 5 star and do it in Puenta Cana.

Barcelo Bavaro Beach: Me Encanta Punta Cana !

J'ai visité ce complexe en 1999, lors de mon tout premier voyage dans le sud ou dans un établissement tout compris. Depuis, je suis allée à Nassau, Varadero, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya et Antigua et je n'ai jamais rien trouvé de comparable à Punta Cana, notamment pour la plage. Elle est absolument incroyable ! À moins que vous n'aimiez pas les cocotiers, le sable blanc ou l'océan turquoise et calme. Le complexe, qui n'était qu'un complexe 3,5 étoiles moyen il y a 15 ans (et notez que [... lire plus] les photos de Tripcentral datent de cette époque, pas d'aujourd'hui, vérifiez les photos du voyagiste pour les photos actuelles), a été entièrement rénové et amélioré. À tel point qu'il était méconnaissable. Je n'aurais eu aucune idée que j'étais retourné au même endroit (même si je crois que cette section réservée aux adultes a été déplacée un peu plus loin sur la plage) si ce n'était pour la plage et le fait de savoir que nous étions allés à l'autre bout de la plage de Bavaro. J'ai passé toute la journée chaque jour sur cette plage et je n'aurais pas pu être plus heureux. Je n'ai pas passé de temps dans la zone de la piscine, mais elle avait l'air belle, propre, et avait quelques zones ombragées par des toiles. Les chambres sont réparties sur trois étages, face à l'océan, dans le style des plantations, avec des cours intérieures et extérieures en palmes. Ma première chambre se trouvait dans le bâtiment 1 et donnait sur le théâtre et le bar du hall. J'ai donc demandé à déménager (ce qui n'a pu être fait que deux nuits plus tard) car j'aime me coucher tôt et me lever tôt. C'était assez bruyant jusqu'à minuit/1 heure du matin. Ma deuxième chambre se trouvait dans le bâtiment 5 et était très calme. Cependant, pour une raison quelconque, elle n'avait pas le joli mur d'accent bleu, les draps de lit et les rideaux (à la place, ils étaient bordeaux et or, ce qui n'est pas aussi tropical). Les lits et les oreillers étaient très confortables. Minibar rempli tous les jours. Peignoir et pantoufles. Coffre-fort dans la chambre (gratuit). Grand meuble-lavabo à double lavabo dans la salle de bains. Rien à redire sur ce point. La nourriture était bonne, très variée. Je n'ai fréquenté que les buffets, El Caribe (buffet principal) et La Brisa (uniquement pour le déjeuner). Les vues pendant que vous mangez sont magnifiques, surtout à La Brisa, qui s'avance directement sur la plage. Le service était bon. J'ai eu l'impression d'être un peu négligée en étant seule, ils semblaient plus amicaux avec les couples et les groupes. Une différence que j'ai remarquée depuis ma première visite est qu'ils parlent tous très bien anglais et insistent presque sur cette langue même lorsque vous leur parlez espagnol. Ainsi, j'ai eu l'impression que la station avait perdu un peu de son charme dominicain depuis ma première visite. De plus, je me souviens que le merengue et d'autres musiques latines étaient omniprésentes en 1999, mais maintenant le complexe joue de la musique de type zen qui sort des haut-parleurs en forme de rochers qui bordent les allées et des reprises d'ABBA dans les ascenseurs qui se répètent au buffet. C'est vraiment décevant. Je n'ai pas pu m'imprégner de cette partie de leur culture. Les quelques morceaux joués par l'équipe d'Actividades et ceux provenant des bateaux d'excursion qui passaient sur la plage devaient suffire. Se promener sur la plage était une belle routine quotidienne, pour moi et pour beaucoup d'autres personnes. Sur la gauche, il y a une zone "locale" avec un "complexe" commercial, un bar de plage et une "marina" d'où semblent partir de nombreux bateaux de tourisme. Puis un autre complexe (le Mariana ?), une autre zone "locale", puis le complexe Melia. Je ne suis pas allé plus loin et j'ai pu confirmer que le Barcelo avait la meilleure plage (bien que la vue sur la mer ait été gâchée par quelques plates-formes, dont l'une est le tour des dauphins que je connais). En marchant vers la droite, on trouve la section Palace Deluxe du complexe Barcelo, puis une incroyable étendue de plage vierge. J'ai particulièrement aimé cette promenade. Le terrain autour du complexe est impeccable et les employés sont toujours occupés à nettoyer les algues qui s'échouent sur le rivage. Les chaises de plage sont les meilleures que j'aie jamais vues dans un hôtel tout compris et je n'ai jamais eu de problème pour faire remplacer les serviettes de plage. C'était la première fois que je venais dans un complexe réservé aux adultes et je n'avais jamais eu de "problèmes" avec les enfants dans d'autres complexes, mais j'étais bien contente d'avoir choisi de rester ici plutôt que dans la section Palace, car c'était un véritable zoo, je n'avais jamais vu autant de familles avec de jeunes enfants en vacances. Le calme de la section Beach était très agréable. Et l'atmosphère de la section Beach est beaucoup plus agréable. Dans l'ensemble, je recommanderais absolument ce complexe. Bien sûr, il y a des complexes plus fantaisistes et plus haut de gamme, mais si vous voulez de vraies vacances à la plage, je ne peux pas imaginer un meilleur endroit que le Barcelo Bavaro Beach.

Me Encanta Punta Cana! I visited this resort in 1999 on my very first trip south/to an all-inclusive. Since then I have been to Nassau, Varadero, Cozumel, Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Maya, and Antigua and have never found anything that compares to Punta Cana, namely for the beach. It is absolutely incredible! Unless you're not a fan of coconut palms, white sand, or calm turquoise ocean. The resort, though just an average 3.5 star resort 15 years ago (and take note that the tripcentral photos are from that time, not current, check the tour operator photos for current ones), has been completely renovated and upgraded. So much so that it was unrecognizable. I would have had no idea I had returned to the same place (though I believe this adults only section has been moved down the beach a touch) if not for the beach and knowing we had been at this far end of Bavaro beach. I spent all day every day on this beach and could not have been happier. I spent no time in the pool area but it did look nice, clean, and had some areas shaded by canvas. The room buildings are three storeys, ocean front, plantation style I would say with palmed courtyards in between them and within them. My first room was in building 1 overlooking the theatre and lobby bar so I asked to move (which could only be accomodated two nights later) since I like to go to bed early/rise early. It was quite loud until midnight/1am ish. My second room was in building 5 and was very quiet. Though for some reason did not have the lovely blue accent wall, bedskirts, and drapes (instead they were maroon and gold, not nearly as tropical). The beds, pillows were quite comfortable. Minibar refilled daily. Bathrobe and slippers. In room safe (no fee). Large double sinked vanity area of the bathroom. No complaints there. Food was good, lots of variety. I only went to the buffets, El Caribe (main buffet) and La Brisa (lunch only). And the views while you're eating are wonderful especially at La Brisa as it juts right onto the beach. Service was good. I was maybe a little neglected being solo I felt, they seemed friendlier with couples, groups. One difference I noticed since originally visiting is that they all speak very good english and almost insist on it even when you speak spanish to them. In this way I kind of felt the resort had lost some of its Dominican charm since I'd first been. Also I remember merengue and other latin music being constant back in 1999 but now the resort plays zen type music coming out of rock-shaped speakers lining the footpaths and elevator music ABBA covers on repeat at the buffet. That was really disappointing. I missed being immersed in that part of their culture. The little bit the Actividades team played and coming from the tour boats passing by the beach had to suffice. Walking down the beach was a lovely daily routine, for me and a lot of other people. To the left there is a "local" area with a shopping "complex", beach bar, and "marina" where a lot of tourboats seemed to depart from. Then another resort (the Mariana?), another "local" area, then the Melia resort. That's as far as I went and could happily confirm the Barcelo has the best beach (though the view out to sea has been ruined by a couple platforms, one is the dolphin tour I know). Walking to the right is the Palace Deluxe section of the Barcelo resort and then an amazing stretch of virgin beach. I especially loved that walk. Grounds around the resort are immaculate and workers were always busy on the beach cleaning up any seaweed washing ashore. The actual beach chairs are the best I've ever seen at an all inclusive and never had any issues getting beach towels replaced. This was my first time to an adults only resort and had never had any "issues" with the children at other resorts but I was quite glad I had chosen to stay here instead of at the Palace section as it was an absolute zoo, I'd never seen so many families with young children on vacation. The quiet at the Beach section was very nice. And it is just a much more pleasant atmosphere at the Beach section all around. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this resort. Of course there are fancier, higher-end resorts out there but if you want a true beach vacation, I can't fathom any place better than the Barcelo Bavaro Beach.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Le "Level" est le seul moyen d'y parvenir !

Le "Level" est le seul moyen d'y aller ! Excellent service, très belle chambre, très bonne nourriture, beau complexe, très propre. Nous avons séjourné dans la section réservée aux adultes. Pas de file d'attente pour quoi que ce soit. Les 4 restaurants du salon Level sont très bons. Le complexe est immense mais des voiturettes de golf sont disponibles 24 heures sur 24 pour vous emmener où vous voulez.

No lineups for anything. The 4 restaurants in the Level lounge are very good. The resort is massive but golf carts are available 24hrs to take you wherever you like.

Grand Sirenis Punta Cana Resort: soleil et plaisir

nous étions 13 personnes, 2 jeunes de 14 ans et le reste des adultes et nous avons passé un très bon moment, sans aucune plainte. L'endroit était beau et propre, la nourriture était bonne et nous avions un gars qui mangeait 24 heures sur 24, 7 jours sur 7, il a adoré. Le service était excellent, les femmes de chambre étaient formidables, la piscine était propre, la plage était merveilleuse et le snokeling était agréable et vous n'aviez pas besoin d'aller loin pour le faire. Si je devais me plain [... lire plus]dre, ce serait seulement le soir, dans le magnifique hall d'entrée, ils avaient besoin d'animation (musique) pour danser, j'aime danser avec mon mari, sinon c'était génial.

wonderful sun and fun we had 13 of us, 2 14 year olds and the rest adults and we had a great time no complaints at all the place was beautiful and clean good food and we had 1 guy who ate 24/7 he loved it. the service was great the maids were great the pool was clean the beach was wonderful and the snokeling was nice and you did not have to go out far to do it. If I was to complain it would only to be at night in the beautiful lobby they had needed intertainment (music) for dancing I like to dance with my husband other than that it was great.
