Fiesta Americana Puerto Vallarta: Station balnéaire de charme

Je viens de rentrer d'un séjour d'une semaine au Fiesta Americana. La nourriture était assez bonne pour un tout inclus. Nous avons apprécié le restaurant asiatique et les buffets avaient généralement une bonne variété. Le steak n'était pas très bon au restaurant italien. Beaucoup de poissons servis, et c'était bien de pouvoir avoir le room service, qui était rapide et frais. Il n'y avait pas assez de chaises longues et il fallait se lever tôt pour en avoir à l'ombre. Emplacement facile pou [... lire plus]r un trajet en taxi rapide et bon marché vers le centre-ville. La chambre était grande mais je n'ai pas eu une bonne vue de la chambre alors que j'en avais demandé une plus haute. Le personnel a réagi très rapidement lorsque le réfrigérateur ne fonctionnait pas et que le sèche-linge a explosé et les a remplacés rapidement. On ne peut pas nager dans l'eau de la plage car elle est trop agitée. J'ai apprécié les rythmes de la visite nocturne.

Lovely Resort Just got back from 1 week stay at Fiesta Americana. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive. We enjoyed the Asian restaurant and the buffets usually had a good variety. The steak was not very good at the Italian restaurant. Lots of fish served, and it was nice to be able to have room service, which was quick and fresh. Didn't seem to be enough lounge chairs and had to get up early if you wanted some in the shade. Easy location for a quick and cheap cab ride to downtown. Room was big but didn't get a good view from the room even though I requested one higher up. Staff were very quick to respond when the fridge wasn't working and the dryer blew up and replaced them quickly. Can't swim in the water at the beach as its too rough. Enjoyed the rhythms of the night tour.

Riu Vallarta: Sourire, quelle aventure pour moi

La chambre était fabuleuse, on s'asseyait sur le balcon tous les matins. Vue sur la cour, les palmiers et l'océan. Le son de l'océan était paradisiaque, l'aménagement paysager et le design étaient incroyables. Trois endroits pour prendre mes repas, la nourriture était excellente, le personnel était très poli et serviable. J'ai parlé de cet hôtel incroyable à tous mes amis et à ma famille. En descendant l'escalier menant à la cour, j'ai eu l'impression d'être une princesse. Les divertissements en [... lire plus] soirée étaient extraordinaires, j'ai pris beaucoup de photos. J'ai dansé comme un fou et j'ai appris de nombreux nouveaux pas de danse avec le personnel. Les piscines étaient propres et Imagine, assis sur un tabouret de bar sous l'eau, incroyable. Le plus beau, c'est que je me suis sentie en sécurité, car je suis veuve depuis un an et je n'ai jamais voyagé. Mon voyage a été incroyable, j'ai rencontré beaucoup de gens et je me suis fait de nouveaux amis. Je vous remercie de m'avoir laissé un souvenir qui restera gravé dans ma mémoire toute ma vie.

Smiling, what a adventure for me Room was fabulous, sat on the balcony every morning. View of court yard, palm trees and ocean. Sounds of the ocean were heavenly, landscaping and design was incredible. Three places to have my meals, food excellent, Wait staff were very polite and helpful. I have told all my friends and family about this incredible hotel, going down the stair to the court made me feel like a Princess.. Entertainment in the evening was Extraordinary, I took many photos. Danced my feet off and learned many new dance steps from the staff. Pools were clean and Imagine sitting on a bar stool under water amazing. Best part of all is that I felt safe, for I have been a widow for one year and never travelled. My trip was incredible and I met many new people and made any new friends. I thank you for making a memory that will be with me for a life time.

Platinum Yucatan Princess: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel !

Nous avons adoré le complexe du point de vue architectural ; il était si nouveau, un design espagnol dans un style contemporain, et ce complexe a été bien pensé. Notre chambre individuelle était magnifique et chaque restaurant était une surprise inhabituelle chaque soir. La piscine était impeccable et la promenade jusqu'à la plage était un délice. Notre choix de visiter deux sites mexicains était aventureux et instructif. Pourrions-nous demander une nourriture différente et variée, par exemple [... lire plus] de la dinde et du bœuf ? Le dernier jour, j'ai planifié et apprécié une pédicure au spa de l'hôtel ; c'était exquis. Le Platinum Yucatan Princess a été professionnel et personnel ; professionnel chaque jour, et personnel lorsque nous avions besoin d'un article ou d'un service spécifique à ce jour. En tant que chefs d'entreprise, nous sommes très satisfaits de notre semaine. Merci pour votre professionnalisme.

Outstanding resort! We loved the resort from an architectural view; it was so new, a Spanish design in a contemporary way, and this resort was well thought out. Our individual room was gorgeous and each restaurant was a quite unusual surprise each night. The pool was spotless and the walk to the beach was a delight. Our choice to visit 2 Mexican locations was adventurous and learning. May we ask for different varied food perhaps some turkey and beef. On the last day I planned and thoroughly enjoyed a pedicure at the in-hotel spa; it was exquisite. Platinum Yucatan Princess was professional and personal; professional each day, and personal when we needed a item or service individual to that day. As business owners we are very pleased with our entire week. Thank you for you professional care.

Grand Decameron Complex Bucerias Trademark: Un complexe dynamique

Beaucoup d'activités pour tous les âges, animées par un groupe de jeunes gens pleins d'énergie. Les chambres sont basiques mais propres et confortables. Beau terrain. Heureux de voir autant de jeunes enfants. Nous avons apprécié les plats à la carte ainsi que les buffets. Les spectacles du soir étaient divertissants. Environnement sûr.

A vibrant complex Lots of activities for all ages led by a group of high energy young people. Rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. Beautiful grounds. Happy to see so many young kids. Enjoyed the a la Cartes as well as the buffets. Evening shows were entertaining. A safe environment.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour et sommes venus depuis 7 ans, la plupart du temps dans les villas de votre hôtel jumeau. Le personnel est sympathique, les chambres sont propres, la nourriture est correcte, on ne peut pas se plaindre. Et surtout George qui nous sert les boissons est le meilleur. Nous rencontrons au moins 25 personnes à votre hôtel pour notre réunion chaque année.

Keep coming back for a reason ! Thanks canto ! We enjoyed our stay and havingcoming there for 7 years mostly at villas your sister hotel. Staff are friendly , rooms clean , food is ok can't complain. And most of all George who serves us drinks is the best . We meet at least 25 people at your resort for our reunion every year .

Barcelo Karmina: Grand centre de villégiature

Tout était parfait. La seule plainte était que la piscine était trop froide pour y nager confortablement, ce qui était regrettable. La nourriture était bonne. Comme je suis une jeune maman, j'ai eu l'impression que le personnel de service aux repas ne se souciait pas trop de s'occuper de notre table, je suppose qu'ils ne pensaient pas que j'allais donner un pourboire ou quelque chose de ce genre.

Great resort Everything was great. Only complaint was that the pool was too cold to be comfortable to swim in which was unfortunate. Food was good. Since I am a young mom it seemed like the waitstaff at meals didn't care too much about keeping on top of our table, my guess is that they didn't think I would tip or something of that nature.

Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya: Ouah !

Nous avons séjourné au Valentin Imperial Maya en janvier 2017 pour célébrer notre 25e anniversaire. Wow ! Quel magnifique centre de villégiature. Tous les aspects du voyage étaient fantastiques. Le cadre est très hawaïen avec une végétation luxuriante et une sensation de jungle. C'est un énorme complexe qui s'étend sur une très grande superficie. La plage est géniale avec beaucoup d'espace pour s'étendre et pas de précipitation pour réserver des chaises. L'océan était très propice à la baignade  [... lire plus]et il n'y avait pas de chute typique juste au large. Le personnel était très amical et attentif et faisait toujours tout son possible pour s'assurer que tout allait bien. Enfin, la nourriture était également excellente. Les choix à la carte étaient très authentiques par rapport au thème et extrêmement délicieux. Nous avons passé trois nuits dans une chambre "swim up" (un peu bruyante autour de la piscine avec les fêtards) et quatre nuits au bord de l'océan (la porte-fenêtre donnait directement sur l'océan !). Enfin, l'hôtel étant l'une des premières destinations après l'aéroport de Cancun, le trajet en bus est très court à l'aller comme au retour.

Wow! We stayed at the Valentin Imperial Maya in January 2017 to celebrate our 25th anniversary. Wow! What a beautiful resort. Every aspect of the trip was fantastic. The setting is very Hawaii like with lush vegetation and a very jungle like feel. It's a huge resort that spreads over a very large area.The beach is great with lots of room to spread out and no rush to reserve chairs. The ocean was very swimmable and there was no typical drop-off just off shore.Staff was super friendly and attentive and always went out of their way to make sure all was 100%. Lastly the food was A+ as well. The al a carte choices were very authentic to their theme and extremely delicious. No reservations or waiting at any of the restaurants.We stayed three nights at a swim up room (a bit noisy around the pool with partiers) and 4 nights ocean front (out the patio door right to the ocean!). Lastly as one of the first drop offs after the Cancun airport the bus ride is super short there and back.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Séjour récent

Petit centre de villégiature... raisonnablement bien entretenu. La procédure de réservation à la carte était étrange... la plupart des gens ne veulent pas faire la queue chaque jour où ils veulent réserver. Cela dit, l'accès aux restaurants n'a pas semblé poser de problème malgré le peu de places disponibles et la nourriture était très bonne... le "filet noirci" au Steakhouse était génial ! Le service était très amical mais TRÈS lent... on aurait dit qu'il n'y avait pas assez de personnel !  [... lire plus]Les chambres étaient correctes... nous n'avons pas eu le logement pour lequel nous avons payé et cela semble être une histoire familière en parlant avec d'autres clients. Les piscines étaient FROIDES à l'exception de la piscine dans la zone dédiée aux enfants. Ce n'est pas ce à quoi nous avons été habitués dans nos expériences précédentes... il est peu probable que nous revenions, mais nous avons tout de même apprécié nos vacances... l'accès à la plage est idéal pour de longues promenades !

Recent Stay Small resort... reasonably well maintained. Process to reserve at 'a la cartes' was strange... most people aren't looking to have to stand in line each and every day they want to make a reservation. That being said, access to the restaurants didn't seem to be a problem despite very few seatings being available and the food was very good... 'blackened filet' at the Steakhouse was awesome! Service was very friendly but VERY slow... seemed generally understaffed! Rooms were okay... didn't get the accommodation we paid for and that seemed to be a familiar story in speaking with other guests. Pools were COLD with the exception of the pool in the area dedicated to the kids. Not what we have been used to in previous resort experiences... not likely to return but still enjoyed our vacation... great access to long walks on the beach!

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Un lieu de villégiature fantastique !

Belle station avec beaucoup de choses à faire pour les enfants. Tout le monde était très amical. La nourriture était excellente. Les activités pour les enfants étaient bien faites. Il faut absolument aller voir l'île d'Ixtapa qui se trouve juste en face du complexe. Nous y retournerons certainement.

Fantastic resort! Beautiful resort with lots of things for the kids to do. Everyone was very friendly. The food was excellent. Activities for kids were well done. Must go see Ixtapa Island right across from the resort. We would definitely go again.

Grand Sunset Princess: Moyenne au mieux

il y a quelques années, ce centre de villégiature aurait mérité une note de 4 étoiles, mais aujourd'hui, il a besoin d'un peu de soins. Des carreaux manquaient dans les piscines et beaucoup de gens se coupaient les pieds. La nourriture des buffets était au mieux moyenne, mais les restaurants étaient pour la plupart bons. La plage était pleine d'algues et de déchets et il était difficile de nager à moins de porter des chaussures d'eau. Ce n'est pas un bon choix pour quelqu'un qui veut nager dans  [... lire plus]l'océan.

Average at best while this resort a few years ago may have deserved a 4 star rating now it is in need of some TLC. Tiles were missing off the pools and a lot of people were getting cuts on their feet. Food at the buffets was average at best but the restaurants were mostly good. The beach was full of seaweed and garbage and swimming difficult unless you wore water shoes. Not a good choice for someone who wants to swim in the ocean.

Bahia Principe Escape Sian Ka'an: De superbes vacances

Excellente cuisine, de loin la meilleure que vous puissiez manger. Le complexe est très grand, vous aurez donc beaucoup à marcher, comme nous l'avons fait. Ce qui n'est pas si mal, car vous mangerez beaucoup ici. Nous avons même perdu du poids ! Haha. La plage est magnifique mais se trouve de l'autre côté de l'autoroute, il faut donc prendre un trolley qui n'est qu'à dix minutes de route. L'équipe chargée des événements est géniale, elle travaille de longues heures et fait un excellent travail [... lire plus]. Les chambres sont petites à mon avis, mais combien de temps passe-t-on dans sa chambre ? Ils préfèrent les dollars américains. J'ai lu des commentaires et j'ai lu qu'ils préféraient la monnaie canadienne - ce n'est pas vrai. Apportez des chaussures d'eau, du matériel de plongée avec tuba, un flotteur pour l'océan et des chaussures de marche pour les excursions. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Great vacation Excellent cuisine, by far the best food you'll eat. The resort is very large, so you'll do a lot of walking as we did. Which isn't so bad because you'll eat a lot here. We actually lost weight! Haha. The beach is beautiful but is on the other side of the highway, so u take a trolley which is only a ten minute ride.not a big deal. The events team is awesome, they work long hours and do a great job. The rooms are small in my opinion, but really how much time do u spend in your room. They prefer American dollars. I was reading reviews and read they prefer Canadian currency-not true. Bring water shoes, snorkelling gear, a floatie for the ocean and walking shoes for excursions for sure. We would definitely return.

El Dorado Seaside Suites: Ne recommande pas

Ce centre de villégiature a été surévalué et mal présenté par l'agent de voyage. Nouveau - oui. Prêt pour les touristes - pas vraiment. La plage a été une déception. Etroite, très accidentée, presque impossible de marcher pieds nus. Des hommes toute la journée dans l'eau avec un hachoir coupant la roche. Impossible de marcher dans l'eau beaucoup trop agitée et des algues à profusion. La plage est sur une colline, il était donc impossible de s'installer confortablement sur les chaises longues car [... lire plus] on avait toujours envie de glisser ou de basculer. Si vous n'étiez pas sur la plage à 6 heures du matin et que vous n'aviez pas réclamé une place, vous ne pouviez pas en avoir une. Les gens réclamaient et ne se montraient pas jusqu'à la fin de la journée et personne ne se déplaçait pour libérer la place pour ceux qui étaient là. Très décevant - ce n'était pas des vacances bon marché et c'était mauvais. La nourriture était le deuxième problème. Tout avait le même goût - tout était identique tous les jours, simplement jeté dans une casserole ou une sauce différente. Le poisson était toujours trop cuit - même s'il avait été commandé et non pris au buffet. Le meilleur repas de la semaine a été celui du Bubba Gump à l'aéroport au moment de notre départ. Nous avons essayé tous les restaurants de la station, si nous devions choisir, l'asiatique était correct. L'un des problèmes majeurs était que pour se rendre aux restaurants du bâtiment principal, il fallait passer devant la décharge d'eaux usées et c'était dégoûtant - on ne pouvait pas s'enlever l'odeur de la tête. La première fois et presque à chaque fois que l'on passe sur ce tronçon, on a du mal à ne pas vomir - et nous étions là en hiver, je ne sais pas ce qu'il en est par temps chaud, mais c'était dégoûtant et ce n'est pas comme si l'on pouvait l'éviter - il faut passer par là pour aller aux restaurants - c'est très désagréable ! L'autre découverte vraiment ennuyeuse - les chambres ! Nous étions ravis d'apprendre que tout le monde avait une vue sur l'océan. Et c'est le cas. Ce qu'ils n'expliquent pas, c'est que pour obtenir la vue sur l'océan, ils ont construit l'hôtel sur un grand arc - une demi-courbe orientée vers l'extérieur et au fond de tout cela, il y a les piscines et dans la piscine, le bar de nage. Tout cela est charmant jusqu'à ce que l'on s'aperçoive que c'est une chambre d'écho. Le vent souffle de l'océan - dans la chambre d'écho et tous les rires des gens qui s'amusent pendant leurs vacances remplissent les chambres, y compris ceux qui ont trop bu au bar et qui s'amusent maintenant bruyamment - jurons, plaisanteries, tout cela dans un esprit de bonne humeur et de vacances, mais vous ne voulez pas l'entendre, vous n'êtes pas avec eux - vous êtes retourné dans votre chambre pour vous reposer - oooppps oubliez que vous êtes dans la chambre d'écho et que vous ne pouvez pas vous débarrasser du bruit. Oh, ai-je mentionné qu'il y a une boîte de nuit au milieu de la chambre d'écho au quatrième étage qui, en raison de la façon dont le bâtiment est construit - ce bel argument de vente - tout le monde a une vue sur l'océan - eh bien, la brise souffle et vous pouvez entendre toute la musique et le bruit de la boîte de nuit jusqu'à ce qu'elle ferme à 1, 2 ou 3 heures du matin - comme c'est merveilleux - vous pourriez aussi bien rester debout pour votre excursion matinale parce que vous ne dormirez pas. Oh et le tout inclus - mini bar - présenté comme un bonus dans chaque chambre - génial il est rempli de boissons gazeuses et de bières. Il n'y a pas vraiment de mini bar, tous les autres all inclusive avaient une gamme complète d'options, pas celui-ci et nous ne buvons pas de bière - donc c'était aussi une escroquerie. Mais il y avait un Starbucks et vous pouviez acheter à tout moment. La dernière fois que j'ai vérifié, All Inclusive signifiait : pas besoin d'avoir de l'argent sur soi, tout est inclus, je suppose qu'ils ont oublié cela. Ce complexe n'avait rien à voir avec ce qu'on nous avait vendu. On nous a volé des vacances en temps, en relaxation et en dollars. Tripcentral ne nous a pas rendu service en déformant l'excellence de ce complexe - nous avons été très clairs sur ce que nous voulions et c'était tellement loin de la réalité qu'ils auraient dû nous payer pour y aller. Je ne recommanderais pas ce centre de villégiature ni Tripcentral.

Would not recommend This resort was over valued and misrepresented by the travel agent. New - yes. Ready for tourists - not really. The Beach was a disappointment. Narrow, very rough, near impossible to walk in bare feet. Men all day in the water with chopper cutting up the rock. Could not walk in water far too rough and seaweed galore. The beach is on a hill so could not get comfortable on lounges as you always felt like sliding or tipping over. If you weren't up and on beach by 6am and claiming a spot you could not get one. People would lay claim and not show up till end of day and no one went around to clear spot for those that were there. Very disappointing - not a cheap holiday and it was bad. Food was second issue. Everything tasted the same - everything was the same everyday just thrown in a different pot or sauce. The fish was always over cooked - even if ordered and not taken from buffet. The best meal we had all week was at Bubba Gump at the airport when we were leaving. We did try every restaurant at the resort if had to pick guess the Asian was okay. One major issue was to get to the restaurants up at the main building you had to go past the sewage dump and it was nasty - you could not get the smell out of your head. First and almost everytime passing this stretch you are challenged not to throw up - and we were there in winter not sure how it would be in hot weather but it was gross and it isn't like you can avoid it you have to go that way to get to the restaurants - most unpleasant! The other really annoying discovery - the rooms! We were excited to hear everyone has an ocean view. And we did. What they don't explain is that to get the ocen view they built the hotel on a big arc - half curve all facing out and at the bottom of all of this are the swimming pools and in the swimming pool is the swim up bar. All lovely until the rest sinks in - it is an echo chamber. The wind blows in off the ocean - into the echo chamber and all the laughter of people having fun on their holiday fills the rooms including those that have had too much to drink at the bar and are now loudly enjoying their time - swearing, joking, all in the spirit of good fun and holiday but you don't want to hear it, you are not with them you have gone back to the room to rest - oooppps forget that you are in the echo chamber and can't shut the noise out. Oh did I mention there is a night club in the middle of the echo chamber on the 4 th floor that because of the way the building is built - that beautiful selling point - everyone has an ocean view - well the breeze blows in and you get to hear all the music and noise of the night club until it closes at 1, 2 or 3am - how wonderful - might as well just stay up for your early excursion cause you won't get any sleep. Oh and the all inclusive - mini bar - featured as a bonus in everyroom - great it is filled with pop and beer. Seriously not much of mini bar any other inclusive has had a full range of options not this one and we don't drink beer - so that too was a rip off. But there was a Starbucks and you could purchase from them anytime they were open. Last time I checked All Inclusive meant - no need to carry money - everything included guess they forgot that. This resort was nothing like it was sold. We were robbed of a vacation in time, relaxation and dollars. Tripcentral did us no favor in misrepresenting the excellence of this resort - we were very clear as to what we wanted and it was so far off the mark they should have paid us to go there. Would not recommend the resort or tripcentral.

L'hôtel est très bien situé, le personnel est très sympathique, nous n'aimons pas les hôtels de cette taille mais celui-ci est bien aménagé, nous avons passé un très bon moment. Le magasin de glace est incroyable, c'est la meilleure glace que j'ai jamais mangée. C'est un endroit idéal si vous voulez sortir et aller en ville. Playa Del Carman est à une courte distance en bus et coûte seulement 4$, un taxi coûte 20-25$

Great resort Very nice resort the staff are very friendly.we don't care for resorts this big but this one is well layer out.we had a great time. The ice cream shop is amazing best ice cream I have ever had.its a great location if you like to leave and go to town Playa Del Carman is a short bus ride and cost only 4$ a taxi cost 20-25$

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Je n'en reviens pas de la qualité et des activités incluses. Quand ils ont dit "tout compris", ils le pensaient vraiment !

Je n'ai jamais séjourné dans un complexe hôtelier aussi propre, avec des repas aussi bons et des activités aussi intéressantes. Le personnel en place est incroyable. Courtois, toujours souriant et avec lequel il est facile de communiquer. Il figure sans aucun doute sur notre liste de stations à visiter à nouveau.

Can't hardly believe the quality, and activities that were included. When they said all inclusive they really meant it! I have never stayed at a resort that was this clean, meals were this good and the activities were so great. The mount of staff on sight is amazing. Courteous, always smiling and easy to communicate with. Definitely on our list of resorts to visit again.

Grand Oasis Riviera: Ne ferait pas la promotion de ce centre de villégiature

Ce complexe n'est pas ce qu'il semble être... Nos chambres étaient censées être des chambres avec vue sur la piscine et nous étions dans la section des enfants avec un marécage derrière notre chambre et pas de piscine en vue... Il y avait des arbres dans le marécage... Notre chambre sentait le renfermé et nos oreillers avaient une odeur acide. Il y avait des arbres dans le marais, était-ce supposé être notre chambre Gardenview... Notre chambre sentait le renfermé et nos oreillers avaient une ode [... lire plus]ur aigre. Les oreillers décoratifs qui étaient sur notre lit à notre arrivée n'ont jamais été remis sur le lit pendant notre séjour, ils étaient empilés dans un coin de la chambre, c'est peut-être de là que venait une partie de l'odeur. J'ai informé le personnel de l'Oasis ainsi que le représentant d'Air Canada et rien n'a été fait pour corriger la situation. Ils m'ont montré le type de chambres que nous étions censés avoir, mais ils n'en avaient qu'une et elle était au deuxième étage, alors ils nous ont donné les chambres à l'arrière, derrière l'aire des enfants. Le patio était sale, jamais balayé ni lavé et les chaises longues étaient couvertes de fientes d'oiseaux. Les piscines n'étaient PAS conviviales, il n'y avait pas de mains courantes pour aider les clients à entrer dans les piscines en toute sécurité. L'une des piscines n'avait qu'une échelle pour entrer et sortir. L'une des autres piscines était si glissante au point d'entrée que quelqu'un aurait pu facilement tomber et se cogner la tête sur les gros rochers qui se trouvaient autour de la piscine. Ces piscines n'étaient certainement pas conçues pour les personnes âgées (de la fin des années 50 au début des années 70). Dans les bars de la piscine, la musique était si ennuyeuse que nous avons demandé au serveur de l'éteindre. Les restaurants étaient petits et pour obtenir une réservation, il fallait faire la queue à 16h00 chaque jour, les réservations n'étaient prises qu'entre 16h00 et 17h00, mais cela ne faisait aucune différence à 16h05, toutes les réservations étaient prises. La nourriture était correcte mais nous avons eu mieux. Les employés de la réception ont laissé beaucoup à désirer... Essayer de changer des fonds américains en pesos a été une expérience et demie... Nous avons dû signer la copie photo de nos passeports à nouveau, puis un autre papier a été présenté et nous avons dû le signer également... Après 20 minutes, nous avons finalement réussi à changer nos 10,00 $ US en pesos. Un autre couple s'est présenté et a obtenu ses pesos sans aucune signature, alors qu'ils échangeaient beaucoup plus d'argent. Je pense que cette station est plus pour les gens qui sont là pour leur lune de miel et pas pour un groupe de personnes en vacances pour s'amuser. Nous avons réservé une excursion auprès du représentant d'Air Canada, au coût de 200 $US par couple. Il s'agissait d'une excursion à Cozumel avec des visites touristiques, etc. Nous étions censés pouvoir magasiner à Playa del Carmen pendant une heure avant de prendre le traversier, mais AUCUN magasin n'était ouvert si tôt le matin. Nous étions également censés pouvoir faire des achats à Cozumel à notre retour du tour de l'île en jeep... MAIS comme il fallait beaucoup de temps pour aller du point A au point B, on nous a dit qu'il n'y aurait pas d'achats à Cozumel et on nous a demandé d'aller directement au ferry pour retourner à Playa Del Carmen.une fois de retour à Playa Del Carmen, nous avons attendu à nouveau jusqu'à ce qu'on nous dise enfin de suivre les guides jusqu'à l'endroit où se trouve la navette pour le retour à la station (il y avait 25 minutes de marche jusqu'à cet endroit). Je n'ai pas été impressionné. Cela n'est en aucun cas la faute de Trip Central. Melissa Alexander nous a beaucoup aidés à organiser notre voyage et nous utiliserions Trip Central à nouveau sans problème.

Would Not Promote This Resort This resort is NOT what it appears to be..Our rooms were suppose to be Pool Gardenview Rooms and we were in the Children's section with a swamp behind our room and no pool in sight. There were trees in the swamp was that suppose to be our Gardenview Room..Our Room smelt musty and our pillows were sour smelling. The decorative pillows that were on our bed when we arrived were never put back on the bed during our stay they were piled in the corner of the room, perhaps that's where part the smell came from. I advised the Oasis staff as well as the Air Canada Rep..and basically nothing was done to correct the situation. They showed me the type of rooms we were suppose to have but they only had one and it was on the second floor so they gave us the rooms at the back behind the Children's area. The patio was dirty, never swept or washed and the lounge chairs were covered with bird droppings. The pools were NOT user friendly, no hand rails to assist guest to enter the pools safely..the one pool only had a ladder to get in and out..one of the other pools was so slippery at the entry point someone could have easily fallen and hit their head on the large rocks that were around the pool. They were for sure not meant for older people (late 50's to early 70's). At the pool bars the music was so boring that we actually asked the bar tender to TURN IT OFF. The Restaurants were small and in order to get a reservation you had to be in line at 4:00 pm each day, reservations were only booked between 4:00 pm & 5:00 pm but that didn't make any difference by 4:05 pm every reservation was booked. The food was okay but we have had better. Front Desk Clerks left a lot to be desired..trying to get US Funds changed into pesos was an experience and a half...had to sign the photo copy of our passports again, and then another paper was presented and we had to sign that as well....after 20 minutes we finally got our $10.00 US changed into pesos. Yet another couple went up and with second had their pesos without any signature and they were exchanging a lot more money. I think this resort is more for people that are there on their honeymoon and not a group of people on a vacation to have some fun. We booked a tour with the Air Canada Rep. the cost was $200.00 US per couple..It was a trip over to Cozumel with sight seeing etc. we were suppose to be able to shop in Playa del Carmen for an hour prior to loading the ferry but the NONE of the stores were open that early in the morning. Parts of the tour were okay but got rather frustrated with all the time that was wasted waiting...we were also suppose to be able to shop in Cozumel when we got back from the jeep tour of the island...BUT because it took so long to get from point A to point B we were told there would be no shopping in Cozumel and we were directed to go directly to the ferry to head back to Playa Del Carmen..once back in Play Del Carmen we stood and waited again until they finally told us to follow the guides back to the place to get the shuttle back to the resort (this was a 25 minute walk back to this location). Not impressed. This by means is any fault of Trip Central Melissa Alexander was very helpful in getting our trip organized and would use Trip Central again without a problem.

Ocean Riviera Paradise: Ocean Riviera Paradise - 5 étoiles sur toute la ligne

Notre voyage à l'Ocean Riviera Paradise, à Playa del Carmen, au Mexique, a été fabuleux. Avant de partir, j'avais lu des critiques mitigées sur ce complexe et j'étais un peu nerveuse, mais j'y retournerais demain. On peut toujours s'attendre à quelques problèmes avec un nouveau centre de villégiature, mais à mon avis, il y en a eu très peu. À notre arrivée, le personnel nous a accueillis chaleureusement à l'enregistrement. Arrivés à 10 heures, nous avons dû attendre jusqu'à 15 heures pour  [... lire plus]recevoir la clé de notre chambre. Cela nous a permis de visiter les lieux et de goûter au buffet, ainsi qu'à quelques boissons fraîches. Nous avons été surclassés de l'El Beso à l'Eden Suites. Notre suite était au rez-de-chaussée, rm.4161. Dans la salle de bains, il y avait une baignoire à remous, une douche à effet de pluie pour deux personnes, une douche à main et un meuble à double lavabo. La chambre à coucher était équipée d'un lit king-size, tandis que le salon comprenait un canapé en cuir et deux fauteuils en cuir. Sur notre patio, il y avait un jacuzzi et deux fauteuils, ainsi qu'un lit de bronzage double devant le patio. Nous étions à 2 minutes de la plage. La nourriture des buffets était très bonne, avec une grande variété de choix. Que ce soit pour le petit déjeuner, le déjeuner ou le dîner. Nous avons mangé dans tous les restaurants Al acarte, qui étaient accessibles à pied (sans réservation). Le Steak House était excellent, nous l'avons mangé deux fois, le Mexicain était également bon, le Route 66 a également été mangé deux fois. Le restaurant italien était bon, et nous avons apprécié les fruits de mer. Nous avons également apprécié d'aller au café Mikes après les spectacles, pour prendre un café et un dessert. Les divertissements étaient bons, selon les goûts de chacun. Certains spectacles nous ont plu, d'autres non. La piste de bowling était très bien. Il y avait 5 pistes, je crois, de 10 quilles. Les navettes étaient pratiques en cas de besoin. Elles circulent d'avant en arrière, toutes les 15 minutes, toute la journée. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons apprécié notre séjour et n'hésiterions pas à y retourner. Ne croyez pas la moitié de ce que vous lisez, allez-y avec un esprit ouvert et profitez-en.

Ocean Riviera Paradise- 5 star all the way Our trip to Ocean Riviera Paradise, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, was fabulous. Before we left home I had read mixed reviews of this resort, and was a little nervous, but I would go back tomorrow. You can always expect a few bumps, with a new resort, but to my opinion we had very few. Upon arrival we had a warm greeting from staff, at check-in. Arriving at 10 am, we had to wait until 3 pm, to receive our room key. This gave us a chance to tour the ground's and try out the buffet, and some cold drinks. We where upgraded to the Eden Suites, from the El Beso. Our suite was a ground floor, rm.4161. In the bathroom was a whirlpool tub,a 2 person rain shower,and hand held shower, and double sink vanity. Sleeping area had a king bed, while the living area had a leather couch, and 2 leather arm chairs. On our patio was a hot tub, and two arm chairs, along with a double tanning bed, in front of the patio. We where 2 min. from the beach. The food in the buffets, was very good, with a wide variety to choose from. Whether it be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. We ate in all the Al acarte restaurants, which where walk up(no reservation). The Steak House was great, we done it twice, Mexican was also good, Route 66 we also done twice. The Italian was good, and the Seafood we enjoyed. We also enjoyed going to Mikes coffee shop after the shows, to have a coffee and piece of dessert. The entertainment was good, depending on your liking. Some shows we enjoyed, and some were not for us. The bowling alley was pretty neat. It had 5 lane's, I believe, of 10 pin. The shuttles where handy if you needed them, which run front to back, every 15 min.,all day long. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to go back. Don't believe half of what you read, just go with an open mind, and enjoy.

Azul Ixtapa Grand Resort: Le meilleur hôtel mexicain tout compris jusqu'à présent !

J'ai adoré ce centre de villégiature. Les chambres sont merveilleuses, propres, spacieuses, avec des lits confortables, un placard et une douche excellents. La nourriture est EXTRAORDINAIRE ! Jamais un mauvais repas. Les al a cartes étaient un régal tous les soirs... belle présentation. Les piscines étaient superbes et le service autour des piscines était excellent même si vous ne donniez pas de pourboire tout le temps. Le service était excellent partout. La plage était petite mais les plages de [... lire plus] chaque côté de l'hôtel étaient grandes et belles et à quelques pas du marché et de l'accès à l'île d'Ixtapa qui a été un plaisir à visiter. L'hôtel proposait de nombreuses activités gratuites, notamment des excursions guidées en kayak et en plongée avec tuba, des randonnées à vélo et un peu de voile. Il n'était donc pas nécessaire d'aller bien loin pour profiter des environs. L'animation nocturne dans notre hôtel était insuffisante et un peu bruyante, mais dans l'ensemble, elle a fait ce qu'elle devait faire. Vous pouviez vous aventurer à l'hôtel Azul pour voir les danseurs et autres si vous le souhaitiez. Nous recommandons vivement ce complexe à tout le monde. Qu'ils soient grands ou petits. Les enfants peuvent aller à l'hôtel jumeau pour profiter des toboggans aquatiques et autres. C'est un trésor caché et nous aimerions y retourner un jour.

Best Mexican All inclusive so far! Loved this resort. Rooms are wonderful, clean spacious comfortable beds and a most excellent walk in closet and shower. Food AMAZING! Never a bad meal. Al a cartes were a great treat every night... beautiful presentation. Pools were great and service around the pools were great even if you didn't tip all the time. The service everywhere was excellent. Beach was small but beaches on each side of resort were large and beautiful and short walk also to market and access to Ixtapa island which was a pleasure to visit. Hotel provided many things to do for free including guided kayak and snorkeling, biking tour and a bit of sailing. So you didn't even have to go far to enjoy the surrounding area. The night entertainment in our resort was lacking and a bit loud but all in all it did what it needed to do you could venture to sister hotel Azul to take in the dancers and such if you liked. We would totally recommend this resort to anyone. Big or small. The kids can go to sister hotel to enjoy the water slides and such. It is a hidden treasure and we would love to go back someday.

Iberostar Waves Paraiso del Mar: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Le terrain de la station était impeccable, le personnel si serviable et amical, et la nourriture était incroyable ! Les buffets offraient un grand choix. C'était bien d'avoir le choix de marcher ou de prendre une navette en voiturette de golf pour se rendre dans les différentes zones de la station. Le centre commercial était génial et nous avons profité de l'occasion pour aller manger des tacos et des crêpes.

Amazing resort The resort grounds were immaculate, staff so helpful and friendly, and the food was amazing! The buffets had great selection. It was nice to have the choice of walking or taking a golf cart shutttle to different areas of the resort. The mall was great and took advantage of going for tacos and crepes.
