L'hôtel est très bien situé, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer et les montagnes, et il est très bien entretenu. Les enfants ne sont pas les bienvenus, mais les adultes sont les bienvenus.

C'est un excellent complexe hôtelier, qui en vaut la peine. La nourriture était excellente, la chambre était superbe avec vue sur l'océan, le personnel est formidable avec les enfants, tout était extraordinaire. J'y retournerai certainement, c'est un endroit très recommandé

Nous avons voyagé avec un groupe dans ce centre de villégiature en avril 2014 pour notre mariage. Le resort est massif mais notre agent de trip central s'est assuré que nous avions tous des chambres situées très près les unes des autres. Le coordinateur de mariage était génial ! La quantité de choses qui sont incluses dans le paquet de mariage gratuit était défiant un bonus. Il y a un très beau parc aquatique, notre fille de deux ans l'a apprécié, ce serait un bon endroit pour les enfants jusqu' [... lire plus]à environ 10 ans ! La nourriture était excellente, aucun membre de notre groupe n'a souffert de la faim. En fait, je pense que tout le monde a pris un peu de poids. Le personnel de l'ensemble de la station était très sympathique ! Nous reviendrons certainement dans ce complexe à l'avenir.

Great resort Travelled with a group to this resort April 2014 for our wedding. The resort is massive but our agent from trip central made sure we all had rooms located very close together. The wedding coordinator was great! The amount of things that are included in the free wedding package was defiantly a bonus. There is a very nice water park, our daughter is two and she enjoyed it, would be a good spot for kids up to about age 10! Food was amazing, nobody in our group went hungry.. Actually for the most part I think everyone put on a little bit of weight. Staff all over the resort were very friendly! We will defiantly return to this resort in the future.

Occidental Punta Cana: Bon centre de villégiature

Très beau complexe, le buffet était très varié. Les chambres étaient agréables. Mon seul reproche est que la climatisation ne fonctionnait pas dans notre chambre, l'hôtel s'est empressé de nous donner une autre chambre mais malheureusement elle ne fonctionnait pas non plus dans la seconde chambre. En fin de compte, nous avons été surclassés dans une chambre avec vue sur l'océan, qui était magnifique et dont la climatisation fonctionnait. Good resort Very nice resort, buffet had a lot of variety. Rooms were nice. My only complain is the AC didn't work in our room, hotel was quick to accommodate and gave us another room but unfortunately it didn't work in the second room either. In the end we were upgraded to ocean view room and it was beautiful with a working AC. This is nice resort it has it's issues but the staff is super accommodating. Joanna at guest services was amazing!! If you want to get your nails done for under $10 go see her. Raymond at the swim up bar makes amazing drinks!

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Absolument incroyable

Nous avons adoré cette station, il y a beaucoup de marche mais c'est quelque chose que nous aimons faire. Le temps a été magnifique toute la semaine. La nourriture était tellement bonne que nous avons eu mieux dans d'autres stations, mais nous ne pouvons pas nous plaindre. Le personnel était amical et désireux de vous aider. J'y retournerais n'importe quand.

Absolutely amazing We loved this resort, there is alot of walking but that is something that we love to do. the weather was amazing the whole week. The food was so so have had better at other resorts but can't complain. Staff were friendly and eager to assist you. Would go back anytime.

C'était un centre de villégiature extraordinaire. mon seul conseil est de faire de la section inférieure de la salle de spectacles une section non-fumeur. même si fumer est légal, il y a des enfants assis dans ces zones pendant les spectacles nocturnes et aussi des personnes qui ne fument pas et des personnes allergiques à la fumée. il y avait un invité qui jetait ses cendres sur une petite fille assise sur la passerelle et les enfants toussaient à cause des personnes qui fumaient derrière eux.  [... lire plus]c'est juste une courtoisie pour les invités vraiment. il y a une section non-fumeur dans le bar du hall, peut-être que désigner une section non-fumeur dans la zone de la scène aiderait pour une soirée de spectacle. par-dessus tout, je reviendrai parce que le personnel était formidable, amical et toujours souriant.

Fun and Relax with a great view It was an amazing resort. my only advice is, make the lower section of the entertainment hall a non smoking section. even though smoking is legal, there are children sitting in those areas during the nightly entertainment and also people who are non smokers and those allergic to smoke. there was a guest who was throwing her ashes at this little girl sitting on the walkway and kids were coughing from people smoking behind them. just a courtesy to guests really. there are non smoking section in the lobby bar, perhaps designating a non smoking section in the stage area would help for an evening of entertainment. above all else, I will visit again because the staff were amazing, friendly and always smiling.

A high quality resort, will love to return Overall, the location, facility, food and service of this resort is great! I did my research before I headed to this resort, so I had a good understanding of what to expect. This resort was still better than I expected, mostly because of the nice staff they have and their attention to details. In general, the service was great, just don't expect speedy service as DR people tends to work in their pace, which is understandable. Food is pretty good overall even we have been spoiled with the variety of international cuisine offered in Toronto and Hong Kong.

needs work hotel has been let to run down.have stayed at all the hotels on this resort in the past.A/Cdidn't work.were told by front desk supervisor the intl. stardard was 25C and this was what the hotel was set at.Took three days of moving to get the room we had booked.In room safe had to get new batteries four times,and you had to go to the room and wait each time.not a great way to spent a vacation.Bar ran out of wine, every night we were there.The only things still great about this resort are the staff and the great beach.Will not return until this hotel has been greatly upgraded.

Occidental Caribe: Belle station balnéaire

Mon séjour a été parfait. Le personnel est courtois et amical. La plage est propre et magnifique. Les piscines sont magnifiques. La nourriture est fantastique. Je recommande tous les restaurants. J'ai apprécié chaque minute de mon séjour.

Beautiful resort My stay was perfect. The staff memebers are curtius and friendly. The beach is clean and beautiful. The pools are amazing. The food was fantastic. I recommend all the restaurants. Enjoyed every minute of my stay.

Melia Caribe Beach Resort: Superbe centre de villégiature !

Le personnel était très sympathique, le terrain était magnifique et bien entretenu La nourriture était excellente, pas de problèmes du tout, beaucoup de choix, j'y retournerais sans aucun doute Nous avons séjourné à la mi-février 2014 et nous recommanderions sans aucun doute :-) Très proche aussi du centre commercial up scale !

Dream Location! The VIK Hotel Arena Blanca has beautiful grounds, great rooms, lots of dining choices with lots of great food, enchanting swimming pools. All the staff were friendly and helpful and service was great and above all a beautiful beach!

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: semaine exceptionnelle

l'hôtel était très propre et les jardins étaient très beaux. La nourriture était bonne et il y avait beaucoup de choix. Les divertissements étaient énergiques. La plage était propre mais l'eau était très trouble. Le service était très bon. Le service autour du bar de la piscine n'était pas le meilleur, mais les autres parties de l'hôtel étaient excellentes. Dans l'ensemble, nous donnons une excellente note à l'hôtel et nous y retournerons.

amazing week the hotel was very clean and gardens were very beautiful. The food was good lots of choices. The entertainment was energetic. The beach was kept clean but the water was very murky.Service was very good. Service around the pool bar was not the best but other parts of the resort were great. Over all we give an excellent rating to the resort and would return.

Le terrain est bien entretenu, la nourriture est décente dans le restaurant à la carte, mais pas cinq étoiles, le buffet est bien meilleur, sauf pour la soirée homard. Le homard a été congelé avant, puis cuit en ce qui me concerne et il avait un goût de bouillie au lieu de viande. Les gens sont très gentils et veulent vraiment vous aider de toutes les façons possibles. J'ai donné à notre femme de ménage 10 $ US par jour pour 2 chambres (mes enfants adultes étaient avec nous) et elles étaient imp [... lire plus]eccables, tout était parfait dans la chambre, elle a même mis des pédales fraîches tous les jours dans toute la chambre et la salle de bain. Les draps manquaient parfois, mais c'est la faute de l'hôtel, pas celle de la femme de chambre. La piscine est comme une soupe bactérienne, très chaude. Pas du tout agréable à nager. La plage est propre, le majordome plus âgé sur la plage dans la section Ambar très professionnel, les plus jeunes ne prennent pas vraiment leur travail au sérieux. Aucun problème pour obtenir une chaise dans la section privée d'Ambar à n'importe quelle heure de la journée. Il est préférable de nager dans l'océan plutôt que dans la piscine. Changez vos serviettes avant 17 heures ou vous risquez de ne pas en avoir avant le lendemain. Toute ma famille est tombée malade après avoir mangé au restaurant Don Pablo le 9 juillet 2014. Prendre le vaccin oral Dukoral 3 semaines avant le départ. Prenez un taxi de et vers l'aéroport au lieu d'un bus et battez la foule, cela ne coûte que 40 $ US (jusqu'à 4 personnes) et c'est beaucoup plus rapide. Les meilleures chambres sont les 67308, 67208, 67301, 67201. Elles sont agréables et calmes, près de la plage. les chambres 64308, 64301, 64208, 67201 sont bien pour ceux qui aiment la foule de la piscine. J'étais dans 67308 en oct. 2013, 64211 en mai 2014 ( C'est aussi une très bonne chambre) et 64202 et 64206 en juillet 2014. (également de très bonnes chambres)

Good but not a 5 star Grounds are well maintained, food decent in a la carte rest. but not five star, buffet much better except for lobster night. The lobster was frozen before, then cooked as far as I'm concerned and it tasted like mush instead of meat. People are very nice and they really want to help you in any way they can. I gave our housekeeper $10 U.S. a day for 2 rooms (my adult children were with us) and they were spotless, everything was perfect in the room, she even put fresh pedals daily all over the room and bathroom. Linens were sometimes missing, but it's the hotel's fault not the maid's. Pool is like bacterial soup, very hot. Not pleasant at all to swim in. The beach is clean, the older butler on the beach in Ambar section very professional, the younger ones don't really take their job seriously. No problem getting a chair in private Ambar section at any time of the day. Your better off swimming in the ocean instead of the pool. Change your towels before 5 p.m. or you might not get any until the next day. All my family became sick after eating in Don Pablo restaurant on July 09,2014. Take Dukoral oral vaccine 3 weeks before leaving. Take cab from and to airport instead of bus and beat the crowd, it only cost $40 U.S. (up to 4 people) and it's much quicker. Best rooms are 67308,67208,67301,67201. Nice and quiet near the beach. 64308,64301,64208,67201 is good for the people who like the pool crowd. I was in 67308 in Oct. 2013, 64211 in May 2014 ( It's also a pretty good room) and 64202 and 64206 in July 2014. (also pretty good rooms)

Casa Marina Sosua Trademark by Wyndham All Inclusive: Station balnéaire décontractée.

Nous avons passé une semaine de vacances en février 2014. Le personnel était sympathique et travaillait dur. Nous avons apprécié la plage avec son récif ; les vagues étaient spectaculaires ; probablement pas sûr pour les enfants ; si vous savez nager, il pourrait être amusant. Les chambres ne sont pas extraordinaires mais c'est propre ; La porte patio devait être réparée dans notre chambre et celle de nos amis ; Pour le coffre-fort nous avons dû payer un supplément ; La salle de bain était corre [... lire plus]cte mais parfois pas d'eau ; Les couloirs sont bruyants. Les couloirs sont bruyants. La nourriture était bonne et le choix assez large. L'emplacement était intéressant, vous avez Sosua à la porte de l'hôtel (terrain de baseball ; motos animées (attention les trottoirs sont très étroits) ; taxi prêt à vous emmener partout ; il y a de bons restaurants à découvrir).

Casual resort. We had one week vacation last February 2014. The staffs were friendly and hard worker. We enjoyed the beach with its reef; the waves were spectacular; probably not safe for kids; if you know how to swim it could be fun. The rooms are not extraordinary but it's clean; The patio door needed to be fixed in our room and the room of our friends; For the safe we had to pay extra; The bathroom was okay but sometime no water; The corridors are noisy. The food was good and quite a good choice. The location was interesting, you have Sosua at the door of the hotel (base ball field; lively motorcycles (take care the sidewalks are very narrow); taxi ready to take you around; there are good restaurants to discover).

Nous avons visité ce site avec nos deux enfants. L'ambiance générale de ce complexe est magnifique. La nourriture était bonne. Le personnel était sympa. Les piscines étaient superbes. J'ai adoré les différents thèmes de nourriture chaque soir et les divertissements nocturnes étaient géniaux ! Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances et nous reviendrons certainement. Ce qui aurait pu être mieux, c'est que le personnel du service clientèle qui s'occupait des réservations pour le re [... lire plus]staurant à la carte n'a pu recommander aucun restaurant. Ils pensaient qu'il n'y avait rien de spécial, ce qui m'a rendu un peu sceptique. L'agent d'entretien de nos chambres vient faire le ménage à 17 heures. Exactement au moment où nous nous préparons à dîner. Cela s'est produit plus d'une fois.

Nice resort We visited this vist with our 2 kids. The overall ambiance of this resort is beautiful. Food was good. Staff were nice. Pools were great.Love the different food themes every night and the nightly entertainment were awesome! Overall, we had a great vacation and will definitly return. Things that could have been better, the guest services staff who were booking for the la carte restaurant, could not recommend any of the restaurant. They thought there was nothing special.That made me a bit skeptical. The cleaner for our rooms comes to clean at 5:00pm. Exactly when we are getting ready for dinner. This happened more than a few times.

Bahia Principe Explore La Romana: Lieu de détente

Très belle station balnéaire relaxante avec une très belle plage en forme de U avec une jetée et près d'une île. La plage est bordée de palmiers, il n'est donc pas nécessaire de se battre pour obtenir un peu d'ombre. Les chambres sont très bien, tout comme la nourriture. Près de l'hôtel, à quelques minutes en taxi bon marché, il y a des grottes bien entretenues, à voir absolument. Il n'est pas possible de faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba en raison de l'eau trouble, peut-être à cause d'une [... lire plus] rivière voisine, mais vous pouvez réserver des excursions de plongée avec masque et tuba vers des sites célèbres.

Relaxing place Very nice relaxing resort with really beautifull U shaped beach with pier and near an island. Beach has palm trees so there is no need to fight for a bit of shade. Rooms are very good, so is food. Near the hotel, just few mitutes drive by the inexpensive taxi, there are well maintened, must see caves. There is no snorkelling because of murky water, possibly due to a nearby river, but you can book the snorkelling trips to famous loctions.

Punta Cana Princess: Merveilleux complexe hôtelier et personnel merveilleux

Les chambres sont excellentes et très propres. Le terrain est immaculé et toutes les parties communes sont super propres. J'adore le bar de la piscine. Si vous recherchez un petit complexe réservé aux adultes et des vacances calmes et reposantes, c'est le complexe qu'il vous faut. La nourriture est très variée et il y en a pour tous les goûts. Le personnel est formidable, avec des employés de longue date que nous voyons à chaque fois que nous y allons. Il y a des animations nocturnes, mais le co [... lire plus]mplexe n'est pas destiné à attirer les fêtards.

Wonderful resort& wonderful staff The rooms are excellent and very clean. The grounds are immaculate and all public areas are super clean. Love the swim up bar at the pool. If you are looking for a smaller adults only resort and a quiet and restful holiday, then this is the resort. Excellent variety of food with something for everyone. The staff is amazing, with some long tenured staff that we see each time we go. They do have nightly entertainment, but the resort is definitely not meant to attract partygoers.

Riu Bambu: Merveilleuses vacances !!!

Le tout premier voyage dans le Sud que nous avons fait, mon mari et moi, s'est déroulé dans ce centre de villégiature il y a 9 ans. C'était un rêve devenu réalité et c'est toujours aussi merveilleux qu'à l'époque. Lorsque nous y sommes retournés en février 2013, nous savions que nous serions entre de bonnes mains. Nous aimons la chaîne Riu. Toutes nos attentes ont été comblées. Le terrain est magnifique, la chambre est très confortable, la nourriture est toujours excellente, que ce soit au buffe [... lire plus]t ou dans les restaurants. Nous ne sommes pas restés pour la vie nocturne car nous étions toujours trop fatigués à 21 heures, je ne peux donc pas faire de commentaires à ce sujet. La plage est géniale. Le sable est comme de la farine blanche et l'eau est toujours propre et belle. Je ne dirai jamais assez à quel point nous avons apprécié notre séjour. J'y retournerais sans hésiter.

Wonderful Vacation!!! The very first trip South we did my husband and I was at this resort 9 years ago. It was a dream come true and it's still as marvelous as it was then. When we went in Feb of 2013 again, we knew that we were going to be in good hands. We like the Riu chain. All of our expectations were delivered. The grounds are amazing, the room was very comfortable, the food was always great, at the buffet and at the restaurants. We didn't stay for the night life because we were always to tired by the time 9 o'clock rolled around, so I can't comment on that. The beach is awsome. The sand is like white flour and the water is always clean and beautiful. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. I would go back in a heart beat.

TRS Turquesa: Excellentes vacances

L'hébergement correspondait exactement à ce qui avait été annoncé. La chambre était magnifique et la baignoire jacuzzi à côté du lit était une touche agréable. Il y avait 3 bouteilles de gin, rhum et vodka de première qualité à la disposition des clients dans chaque chambre. La piscine principale et la plage étaient de premier ordre et chaque bâtiment avait sa propre piscine et son propre bar. Les repas étaient très bons dans les restaurants du Turquesa (steak diane, homard, carré d'agneau, etc. [... lire plus]). Les restaurants dans le reste du complexe étaient plus ou moins bons (Tepenyaki très amusant, italien soso et Sports Bar). Ma compagne m'a déjà indiqué que nous reviendrons.

Excellent vacation The accomodations were exactly as advertised. Beautiful room and the jacuzzi tub next to the bed was a nice touch. They had 3 bottles of premium gin, rhum and vodka for guest use in each room. The main pool and beach area were top notch and each building had it's own pool and bar. Dining was really good in the Turquesa restaurants (steak diane, lobster, rack of lamb etc). Restaurants in the rest of the complex were hit and miss (Really fun Tepenyaki, soso Italian and Sports Bar). My girlfriend has already indicated that we will be returning.
