Nous étions 16 dans la famille et nous avons tous apprécié chaque minute. Les habitants, très sympathiques, nous ont offert un service merveilleux et amical. Nous n'avons manqué de rien. Il était si facile d'aller d'un endroit à l'autre et de tout essayer. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute !

Loved this resort! There were 16 of of us in the family and we all enjoyed every minute of it. Beautiful local people offered wonderful, friendly service. We didn't want for anything. It was so easy to get from one place to another and tried it all. We will definitely be back!

Marien Puerto Plata Hotel: Excellente expérience

Le personnel de l'hôtel était sympathique et, dans l'ensemble, nous avons eu une excellente expérience dans ce centre de villégiature. Great experience The hotel staff was friendly and overall, we had a great experience at this resort. We found great joy in chatting with Juan at the pool bar. No issues with food, and no reservations required for restaurants. Beach was closed the first few days due to tides but the pool was a great spot to hang out. We ended up spending a lot of time at the pool even when the beach reopened. Our only complaint are the rooms could use updating.

Bahia Principe Escape Bouganville: Endroit agréable mais trop peu pour trop cher

L'endroit était propre et bien entretenu, mais il était trop loin de l'aéroport et très moyen pour être appelé un centre de villégiature de luxe. Les chambres étaient propres, le réfrigérateur du bar était toujours rempli et la climatisation était froide. La nourriture est la même que dans la plupart des centres de villégiature de la RD. Les gens sont sympathiques. La baignade était bonne et les animations au bord de la piscine étaient amusantes. L'autre piscine (la piscine tranquille) ressembla [... lire plus]it à un enterrement. Je n'y retournerais probablement pas à moins de payer beaucoup moins cher. La plage n'était pas très belle et il y avait des méduses.

Nice place but too little for too much$ The place was clean and well groomed but it was too far from the airport and very much average to be called a luxury resort. The rooms were clean and bar fridge was always stocked and the AC was cold. The food is the same as most DR resorts. The people were friendly. Swim up was good and entertainment by the pool was fun. The other pool (quiet pool) was like visiting a funeral. I probably would not go back there unless it was much less money. The beach was not very nice and there were jellyfish.

Ocean Blue and Sand: Fantastic Resort.

C'était notre quatrième séjour dans ce centre de villégiature. Il est très beau et on peut s'y promener ou prendre le train. Nos chambres étaient propres et très spacieuses. Le réfrigérateur était rempli tous les jours de boissons non alcoolisées, de bière et d'eau. Les piscines étaient très propres, ainsi que la plage. Nous avons dîné au steak house qui était excellent. Les boissons étaient bonnes dans tous les bars. Le café était très bien. Ils faisaient d'excellents cappuccinos et cafés espagnols. Nous en avons bu quelques-uns. Le café proposait également des gâteaux, des biscuits et des sandwichs. Le personnel était sympathique et serviable. Le seul reproche que nous ayons fait est qu'il n'y avait pas assez de chaises et de parasols autour de la piscine. Les gens réservaient des chaises à 6 heures du matin. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les bracelets. Pas de clés à gérer. Merci à tout le personnel du centre de villégiature.

This was our 4th time at this resort. It is very beautiful and lots of walking or you may take the train. Our rooms were clean and very spacious. The fridge was replenished every day with soft drinks, beer and water. The pools were very clean, as well as the beach. We walked on the beach a few times and it was great. We ate at the buffet a lot. There was a variety of food to choose from. They had a theme each night. We had dinner at the steak house which was great. The beverages were good at all the bars. The coffee shop was great. They made great cappuccino and Spanish coffee. Which we had a few. The coffee shop also served cakes, cookies and sandwiches. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint we had was not enough chairs and umbrellas around the pool. People were reserving chairs at 6 am. We really like the wrist bands. No keys to deal with. Thank you to all the staff at the resort.

Majestic Colonial Punta Cana Beach Resort: AWESOME

Impossible de dire une seule chose négative à propos de ce centre de villégiature. Plage et piscine spectaculaires, service formidable, chambre magnifique, nourriture formidable. Notre mini-frigo était réapprovisionné tous les jours. La cafetière a été utilisée tous les jours. Le personnel est sympathique et prêt à tout faire pour vous. Cannot say 1 bad thing about this resort. Spectacular beach and pool, awesome service, gorgeous room, terrific food. Our mini fridge was restocked daily. Used coffee maker daily. Staff friendly and willing to do anything for you. The synchronized swimming show in the pool was fantastic .Wide variety of food-something for everyone. All areas very clean. Without a doubt this is our #1 vacation spot.

Je sais ce que j'aime et ce à quoi je peux m'attendre pour le prix payé. Mon fiancé et moi avons voyagé avec notre fille de 10 ans pour ce voyage. Je fais toujours beaucoup de recherches et de lectures avant de réserver des vacances afin de savoir ce que je peux attendre du lieu de villégiature ou de l'hôtel choisi. C'était la premi [... lire plus]ère fois que je séjournais dans un hôtel de la marque Ocean, car je voyage souvent dans des hôtels de la marque Iberostar Selection et Riu Palace. Je vais vous faciliter la tâche : Si vous aimez la plage, ce n'est probablement pas votre hôtel. Si vous préférez une grande piscine et l'AMAZING LAZY RIVER, ce complexe a beaucoup à offrir. C'est peut-être votre prochaine destination. ENREGISTREMENT : - Très rapide et efficace (cela dit, j'ai trouvé que le personnel de la réception pourrait être un peu plus joyeux et avoir un accueil plus chaleureux si je le compare à celui d'un autre hôtel). Mais le prix était ridicule et il n'y a pas eu de négociation. Surclassement de la vue jardin à la vue piscine et à la vue océan. - La salle de bain et la douche mériteraient d'être rafraîchies. (Ne vous attendez pas à une chambre 5* ici, oui, il y a quelques coins avec de la moisissure, mais tout est fonctionnel) - Comme vous le lirez probablement dans un autre commentaire, la chambre sent le renfermé, ce qui indique des problèmes d'humidité et une mauvaise circulation de l'air. Nous avons demandé un déshumidificateur qui est arrivé le soir même et a réglé le problème pour nous (sauf qu'il a fui la dernière nuit). - La femme de ménage a été rapide et efficace mais n'a jamais changé nos draps pendant les 7 nuits de notre séjour. - Nous avons demandé plus de bière et d'eau, et cela n'a pas posé de problème (6 bouteilles d'eau / 4 bières chaque jour). *Nous donnons un pourboire de 5$ USD à la femme de ménage tous les jours. Nous donnons également un pourboire au personnel qui réapprovisionne le réfrigérateur. RESTAURANTS : - La nourriture était incroyable si on la compare à d'autres complexes hôteliers de l'IA dans cette gamme de prix. - Tous les plats à la carte étaient bons, mais nous avons préféré le restaurant mexicain, qui ne nécessitait pas de réservation. - Quelques problèmes au Blue Lagoon (réservé aux adultes) pour l'anniversaire de ma fiancée parce qu'on nous y avait réservé et que nous avions un enfant de 10 ans avec nous. (mais ils ont réussi à nous accommoder après une brève communication manquée) PISCINES ET LAZY RIVER : - A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. PLAGE - Venteuse et rocheuse. On ne vient pas ici pour la plage. AVANTAGES : Excellente nourriture. Les boissons et les cocktails étaient bons (je n'ai pas été privilégié, mais 200 x 1$ USD vous permettent d'aller loin. J'ai bu du Don Julio et du Crown Royal dès le troisième jour) Service supérieur à la moyenne Grandes chambres (convient parfaitement à une famille) Lazy River CONS : LA PLAGE. Des objets sont volés dans le complexe. Soyez prudent et ne laissez rien derrière vous. La communication entre les membres du personnel pourrait être meilleure. Ne prenez pas la peine d'envoyer un e-mail au resort avant, car vous n'obtiendrez pas plus d'avantages à votre arrivée (désolé, Carlos C) L'animation générale pourrait être meilleure. Est-ce que j'y retournerais ? OUI, tout dépend du prix. Nous avons bénéficié d'une offre exceptionnelle par rapport à ce que d'autres ont payé, et nous reviendrions sans hésiter au prix que nous avons payé. Very good overall resort / Better than average food / Mediocre beach area We've traveled to multiple AI resorts 2-3 times a year for over 20 years. I'm in my mid-40s, and I'm not that difficult. I know what I like and what to expect for the price paid. My fiancé and I traveled with our 10-year-old daughter for this trip. I always do a lot of searching and reading before booking a vacation so that I know what to expect from the chosen resort or hotel. This was my first time at an Ocean brand hotel, as I often travel with Iberostar Selection and Riu Palace brand hotels. I’ll make it easy for you: If you like the beach, this is probably not your resort. If you prefer a large pool area and THE AMAZING LAZY RIVER, this resort has a lot to offer. This may be your next destination. CHECK-IN: • Very fast and effective (with that in mind, I found that the front guest staff could be a little cheerful and have a warmer welcome if I compared it to another hotel). GUESS EXPERIENCE: • Awesome service, very attentive, and helped a lot with a few issues I had with booking restaurants. • They also assisted me with my fiancé's birthday that week with a cake from the pastry chef. • I felt that if I asked for something, they would do everything in their power to accommodate. OVERALL STAFF: • Excellent service everywhere. • Did not give more attention to people who tip or do not. (I gave 1$ a drink on average) • The restaurant staff was good and accommodating for different plate requests. • The bartenders were great, especially Ricardo & Domingo at the pool bar. (I’m the Bloody Caesar guy from last week ? ) and Joel and Juan at the sports bar. ROOMS: • Very large junior suite with a nice set-up of chairs on the balcony. • My view was very disappointing to me as I normally upgrade my view at the resort while checking. But the price was Ridiculous and no bargaining on the deal. Upgrade from Garden view to Pool view to Ocean. • Could use a refresh in the bathroom and shower area. (Don’t expect a 5* room here, yes, it has some corners with mold, but everything is functional) • As you will probably read from another review, the room is musty, which indicates moisture problems and poor air circulation. We asked for a dehumidifier that arrived the same night and fixed the problem for us (except that it leaked the last night). • The cleaning lady was prompt and effective but never changed our bed sheets for the 7-night stay. • Ask for more beer and water, and it was not a problem (6 bottles of water / 4 beers every day). *We tip the cleaning lady 5$ USD every day. We also tip the staff the replenish the fridge. RESTAURANTS: • The food was amazing if compared to other AI resorts at that price range. • All à la carte was all good, we preferred the Mexican, which needed no reservation. • A few issues at the Blue Lagoon (adult only) for my Fiancé b-day because they booked us there and have a 10-year-old with us. (but managed to accommodate us after a brief missed communication ) POOLS & LAZY RIVER: • A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. BEACH • Windy and rocky. You don’t go to this place for the beach. PROS : Excellent food. Drinks & Cocktails were good ( I was not privileged, but 200 x 1$ USD gets you a long way. I was drinking Don Julio and Crown Royal by day 3.) Service above average Large rooms (fits a family perfectly) Lazy River CONS: BEACH. Stuff gets stolen around the resort. be careful and don’t leave anything behind. Communication among staff could be better. Don’t bother emailing the resort before, as you won’t get any more perks upon arrival (sorry, Carlos C) All-around entertainment could be better. Would I return? YES, it all depends on the price. We received an outstanding deal for this one compared to what others paid, and we would return without hesitation at the price we paid. Tout, de la chambre à la plage, en passant par le service, la nourriture et tous les autres aspects, a totalement répondu à nos attentes. Nous n'hésiterons pas à revenir. Une mention spéciale à Lucia (préposée à la chambre) à Lucia (préposée aux chambres), à Yvelise (responsable du buffet et à tout son personnel), à Nelson (Bell Hop) et à Rissette (bureau des réservations).

VH Gran Ventana Beach Resort: Le meilleur de tous les temps !

Ce fut l'un de mes voyages les plus extraordinaires. J'ai séjourné au Gran Ventana il y a 18 ans et j'ai toujours dit que c'était mon hôtel préféré. Vous n'avez pas déçu, le personnel, la nourriture, le terrain, les chambres sont les meilleurs. La proximité de tout est incroyable, l'un de nos amis est en fauteuil roulant et a pu se rendre à la plage sans problème. Merci de nous avoir invités tous les six au cocktail dînatoire, c'était bien plus que ce à quoi nous nous attendions ! De même que  [... lire plus]le plateau de fruits et la bouteille de rhum dans notre chambre à notre arrivée. J'ai quelques suggestions à faire cependant, un miroir de maquillage extractible dans la salle de bain (trop loin pour le voir), et un miroir pleine longueur dans la chambre. De même, essayez de remplacer les chaises cassées sur la plage, je me suis assise sur l'une d'entre elles un jour et j'ai cru que j'étais en train de la traverser. Best Ever! This was one of my most amazing trips. I was to the Gran Ventana 18 years ago and have always said it was my favorite resort. You did not disappoint, the staff, food, grounds, rooms are the best. The close proximity to everything is amazing, one of our friends is in a wheelchair and was able to get to the beach without a problem. Thank you for inviting the 6 of us to the cocktail dinner it was WAY more that we expected! As well as the fruit tray and bottle of rum in our room when we arrived. I have a couple of suggestions though, pull out makeup mirror in the bathroom (too far away to see), and a full length mirror in the room. As well try to replace broken chairs on the beach, I sat on one one day and thought I was going through it. I highly recommend this resort and we plan to be back! Gerri Brown

C'était un très bon hôtel. La nourriture est excellente. Le buffet avait un grand choix. Le service est excellent. Notre principale plainte concerne la plage et les piscines. Il y a tellement d'algues qu'il est impossible de nager. C'est affreux. J'ai eu des éruptions cutanées par la suite. Nous avons dû marcher un kilomètre pour trouver une plage plus agréable. Les piscines ne sont pas bien entretenues. Le premier jour, il y avait des canards dans la piscine. Je n'ai pas arrêté de [... lire plus] dire au personnel de nettoyer la piscine où se trouvaient les canards, car il y avait de la mousse qui flottait et des feuilles des arbres environnants. Au bout de 4 jours, l'autre piscine a été fermée pour cause de bactéries. L'eau semble contenir des algues. Nous n'avons plus utilisé cette piscine. Elle était toujours fermée lorsque nous sommes partis. Les courts de tennis et de pickleball sont bien. Il est facile de les réserver et le personnel qui s'en occupe offre un excellent service. Malheureusement, à peu près au même moment où la piscine a été fermée, il y a eu un problème d'égouts à côté des courts et l'odeur était très dégoûtante. Nous n'avons pas pu jouer pendant quelques jours jusqu'à ce que le problème soit résolu.

It was a very good hotel. They have excellent Food. Buffet had great selection. Service is great. Our major complain is the beach and the pools. There were so much seaweed that you can't swim. It looks nasty. I got rashes afterwards. We had to walk a kilometer away to find a nicer beach area. The pools are not well maintained. There were some ducks on the pool the first day we got there. I kept telling the staff there to clean the pool where the ducks are since it has something foamy floating around and leaves from the surrounding trees. After 4 days, the other pool was closed due to bacteria. The water looks like there are algae in the pool. We didn't use the pool anymore. It was still closed when we left. The tennis and pickleball courts are good. Easy to book and the court takes provides an excellent service. Unfortunately, around the same time when the pool got closed, they had a sewage issue beside the courts so the smell was so disgusting. We couldn't play for a couple of days until the issue was resolved.

Je n'aurais pas réservé si j'avais su que les locaux prenaient le relais le week-end. J'ai vécu cela au coffresi en haut de la route et c'est pourquoi j'ai pensé essayer playabachata.deuxièmement, faire des réservations alacarte la ligne commence à 7 ouvre à 830 et ne peut réserver qu'un à la fois non merci n'a pas été en mesure de réserver n'importe quelle pour cette raison.j'ai adoré ma chambre face à l'océan jusqu'à la circulation de nuit des gens qui passent à toute heure ivre et bruyant.ce  [... lire plus]chemin devrait être fermé peut-être à la nuit et détourné vers un derrière. . Impossible, surtout le dernier soir où j'ai dû me lever tôt pour une fête sur la plage, ce qui a empêché cette circulation. La vue était absolument magnifique.les divertissements changeaient constamment de notre côté vers la station Senator vous vous prépariez pour une bonne table et on vous disait que c'était là-bas au moment où vous arriviez, bonne chance pour trouver une place. Les deux stations ont besoin de leurs propres divertissements, s'il vous plaît. Le bar de la piscine, ouvert 24 heures sur 24, dont je parle, devrait être ouvert en permanence, car il s'agit d'un immense complexe hôtelier. La nourriture était correcte au buffet, je n'ai pas eu faim mais j'aurais pu avoir plus de choix certains soirs. La plage était fabuleuse. Oui il y a une piscine plus calme plus bas par la partie vide section fermée de bâtiments ressemble à se préparer pour.turn over et Reno's peut-être... le resort est extrêmement grand d'un bout à l'autre navettes serait une très bonne idée pour la taille et la quantité de bâtiments que j'aurais perdu si je n'étais pas dans un front de mer. Le personnel de la réception est absolument génial et le ménage a été fantastique. Je retournerais dans cette station umm probablement pas car je veux vraiment un plus calme, organisé plus facile pas de locaux partageant des vacances tout compris c'est juste trop bruyant et je trouve que reçu un service prioritaire en particulier à ce bar J'aime l'expérience locale juste pas à un tout inclus où ils prennent bien plus de la moitié de la station le week-end et d'autres jours pendant que j'étais là. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé de bonnes vacances. Et nous reviendrons certainement dans la région de Puerta Plata. Oh, et du bacon, du bacon, du bacon, s'il vous plaît !

Could be a amazing resort with a few improvements So many things I loved about this resort but needs a few improvements to a couple things one I wouldn't of booked had I known the locals take over on weekends. I experienced this at the coffresi up the road and is why I though I'd try playabachata.second is making alacarte reservations line up starts at 7 opens at 830 and can only book one at a time no thank you wasn't able to book any for this reason.i loved my ocean front room until the nite traffic of people going by at all hour drunk an loud.that path should be closed down maybe at nite an diverted to one behind. . Impossible especially my last nite had to be up early a beach party prevented that and traffic of it. The view was absolutely amazing.the entertainment was constantly changing from our side over too the Senator resort you'd get all set up for a good table only to be told it's way over there by time you get there good luck getting a seat. Both resorts need their own entertainment please. Also one bar mainly constantly being looked off passed by and definitely having to several times speak up it's your turn after being ignore that would be the 24 hour pool side bar I'm speaking of the bar by the entertainment section should always be open as well it's a huge resort one is not enough.loved my massages at the Haitian market at the end of the resort by Elizabeth amazing top notch massage from her definitely worth the 45 for a hour. and cheaper go down to the beach go right all the way down and BAm they are. I absolutely love Puerta Plata it's alot more safer than Punta cana I find. I walked all over not having to worry. Even went to tattoo shop which I can't recommend enough definitely the best I've ever gotten. He I absolutely amazing and I will be back to see him specifically again ,if you want a tattoo please go see Yonathan tattoo Shop. the farther the shack the cheaper they get on the beach. Great people down there. The food was ok in the buffet I didn't go hungry but could of had more choice on certain nights. The beach was fabulous. The main pool is a little small and way too busy an way to loud the music could be down just a bit so you didn't here it way down the beach. Yes there is a quieter pool further down by the empty part closed section of buildings looks like maybe getting ready for.turn over and Reno's maybe...the resort is extremely large from one end to another shuttle carts would be a really great idea for the size and amount of buildings which I would of got lost if I wasn't in a beachfront one. Tr staff at front desk absolutely amazing and my house cleaning was fantastic. Would I go back to this resort umm probly not as I really want a more quieter, organized easier no locals sharing a all inclusive vacation it's just to loud and I find that recieved priority service especially at that one bar I love the local experience just not at a all inclusive where they take up well over half of the resort on weekends and other days while I was there. Over all though we had a great vacation. And will definately return to Dominican Puerta Plata area . Oh and bacon bacon bacon please lol

Je n'aurais pas réservé si j'avais su que les locaux prenaient le relais le week-end. J'ai vécu cela au coffresi en haut de la route et c'est pourquoi j'ai pensé essayer playabachata.deuxièmement, faire des réservations alacarte la ligne commence à 7 ouvre à 830 et ne peut réserver qu'un à la fois non merci n'a pas été en mesure de réserver n'importe quelle pour cette raison.j'ai adoré ma chambre face à l'océan jusqu'à la circulation de nuit des gens qui passent à toute heure ivre et bruyant.ce  [... lire plus]chemin devrait être fermé peut-être à la nuit et détourné vers un derrière. . Impossible, surtout le dernier soir où j'ai dû me lever tôt pour une fête sur la plage, ce qui a empêché cette circulation. La vue était absolument magnifique.les divertissements changeaient constamment de notre côté vers la station Senator vous vous prépariez pour une bonne table et on vous disait que c'était là-bas au moment où vous arriviez, bonne chance pour trouver une place. Les deux stations ont besoin de leurs propres divertissements, s'il vous plaît. Le bar de la piscine, ouvert 24 heures sur 24, dont je parle, devrait être ouvert en permanence, car il s'agit d'un immense complexe hôtelier. J'ai adoré mes massages au marché haïtien, à l'extrémité du complexe hôtelier, prodigués par Elizabeth, qui m'a offert un massage de première qualité et qui valait bien les 45 dollars pour une heure. J'adore Puerta Plata, c'est beaucoup plus sûr que Punta Cana, je trouve. Je me suis promenée partout sans avoir à m'inquiéter. J'ai même été chez le tatoueur que je ne saurais trop recommander, certainement le meilleur que j'ai jamais eu. Il est absolument génial et je reviendrai le voir spécifiquement, si vous voulez un tatouage, allez voir Yonathan Tattoo Shop. Les gens sont formidables. Playabachata Hotel: J'adore cet endroit

C'est la deuxième fois que nous séjournons ici... les chambres elles-mêmes auraient besoin d'être rafraîchies mais le terrain est magnifique... la plage est magnifique... le personnel est très chaleureux et amical et la nourriture est assez décente. Boissons et nourriture illimitées... pour le prix, ça vaut le coup.

Love this place This is the second time that we stayed here.. the rooms themselves could use some freshening up but the grounds are beautiful..the beach is beautiful.. the staff are very warm and friendly and the food is pretty decent. Unlimited drinks and food.. for the price it's well worth it.

L'hôtel lui-même n'était pas si mal, les chambres étaient petites mais les restaurants étaient généralement fermés et payants. Les bars étaient limités, un seul était ouvert souvent, sinon la plupart étaient fermés, parfois ouverts pendant quelques heures dans la soirée ou la journée. Le service était excellent quand on l'obtenait mais normalement il n'y avait qu'une seule personne pour servir le bar et les snacks. Pas très adapté aux enfants de 3 ans et moins, la nourriture était médiocre, et l [... lire plus]a plage était très mal entretenue.

Not what was advertised The hotel itself wasn't to bad itself, rooms were small but the restaurants were usually closed and not free. The bars were limited, one open often otherwise most were closed sometimes open for few hours during the evening/day. Service was great when you got it but normally only had 1 person working to serve bar and snacks. Not very child friendly 3 and below, food was mediocre, and the beach was very poorly taken care of.
