Brisas Santa Lucia: Un moment formidable !

Cet hôtel était vraiment génial ! Je vais énumérer les choses qui étaient formidables : -Divertissement Personnel -Les boissons -Excursions -L'emplacement -La piscine -Frites au snack-bar Ne manquez pas la station de fabrication de pâtes dans le hall du buffet principal ! Elle se trouve tout au fond et les gens la manquent souvent ! ;-)

Awesome Time! This hotel was really great! I will list the things that were great: -Entertainment Staff -Drinks -Excursions -Location -Pool -Fries at the snack bar Do not miss the pasta making station in the main buffet hall! It's at the far back and people usually miss it! ;-)

Brisas Santa Lucia: beau centre de villégiature

Ce complexe a besoin d'être modernisé mais reste un bel hôtel. La nourriture était bonne et on trouvait toujours quelque chose à manger. C'est bien qu'il y ait un bar et un snack-bar ouverts 24 heures sur 24. Le personnel était gentil et serviable. Heureux d'avoir vu cet hôtel mais il n'y a pas grand chose à faire

Brisas Santa Lucia: un endroit idéal pour une semaine de détente !

La chambre était superbe et très propre. Le lit était très confortable et la température parfaite. Le terrain est très bien entretenu. La piscine était magnifique avec beaucoup de chaises. Nous avons adoré le bar à café et le café était si bon. La plage était propre et l'eau si bleue. La nourriture était meilleure que ce que nous avions prévu et le choix de nourriture était excellent. Nous retournerions sans aucun doute dans ce complexe. Les Cubains étaient sympathiques et honnêtes et nous nous  [... lire plus]sommes sentis en sécurité lorsque nous avons fait du vélo à l'extérieur de l'hôtel.

great place for a week of relaxation! The room was great and very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect. Through grounds are very well maintained. The pool was amazing with lots of chairs. We loved the coffee bar and the coffee was so good. The beach was clean and such blue water. The food was better than we had anticipated and the choice of food was great. We would definitely go back to this resort. The Cubans were friendly and honest and we felt very safe when we went bicycling outside the resort.

Le terrain était bien entretenu. La plage était accessible à pied. Le personnel était génial et très attentif ! Food....well c'est Cuba ! Prenez votre propre bouteille de ketchup si c'est un condiment que vous aimez ! Les chambres ont besoin d'un petit lifting.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Un grand moment !

Mon ami et moi avons séjourné au Brisas à la mi-mars pour une semaine et nous avons passé un moment merveilleux ! La plage était magnifique, le personnel était formidable et la nourriture n'était pas mauvaise du tout. Nous nous attendions au pire - étant notre première fois à Cuba avant d'y aller, tout le monde nous a dit que la nourriture cubaine n'avait pas de goût ! Nous avons apporté notre propre sel, poivre et ketchup et nous étions prêts à partir !) Nous espérions pouvoir découvrir davantage le mode de vie cubain et explorer davantage l'extérieur des murs, mais il n'y a pas grand-chose à voir. Nous avons participé à une excursion pour déguster du homard.... et cela valait chaque centime !!!! L'environnement, les gens, la nourriture....'est l'un des meilleurs souvenirs de notre voyage !

Great time! My boyfriend and I stayed at Brisas mid march for one week and had a wonderful time! The beach was beautiful, the staff was amazing and the food wasn't bad at all. We expected the worst-being our first time in cuba before we went everyone told us Cuban food was tasteless! We brought our own salt, pepper and ketchup and we were good to go!) the thing I wasn't to fond of was the nightly entertainment and the lack of "local" surroundings. We were hoping to be able to see more of the Cuban lifestyle and explore more outside of the walls but there isn't much to see. We went on a lobster dinner excursion....it was worth every penny!!!! The environment, the people, the food....it was one of my fondest memories from our trip!

J'ai adoré ce complexe. Pas trop grand, personnel sympathique, nourriture décente, belle piscine, belle plage, belles chambres. Mon seul problème était que le barman du bar de la piscine (Mike) était très lent et ne prêtait pas du tout attention aux clients. Il a mis PLUSIEURS fois à nous servir et lorsqu'il a enfin pris notre commande, il a mis longtemps à nous apporter nos boissons parce qu'il était occupé à consulter son téléphone et à parler à sa femme. Le seul moyen d'obtenir une boisson au [... lire plus] bar de la piscine était de sortir de la piscine et de se tenir sur le pont sec, car sinon les barmans ne vous serviraient jamais.

I would go back! I loved this resort. Not too big, friendly staff, decent food, nice pool, nice beach, nice rooms. My only issue was that the bartender at the pool bar (Mike) was so slow and didn't pay attention to customers at all. He took FOREVER to serve us and then when he finally took our order he took forever to bring us our drinks cause he was busy checking his phone and talking to his wife. The only way to get a drink at the pool bar was to get out of the pool and stand on the dry deck because otherwise the bartenders would never serve you.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Très relaxant

Tout va bien, sauf que nous avons changé de chambre parce que nous avions demandé une chambre au rez-de-chaussée (mon mari se remettait d'une prothèse de hanche récente, et ma fille et son mari voulaient rester au rez-de-chaussée et ont demandé cela, ainsi qu'un "pack and play" pour le bébé). Nous avons été placés près des animations nocturnes qui étaient incroyablement bruyantes jusqu'à 23 heures. Nous n'avons pas beaucoup dormi jusqu'à ce moment-là pour nos deux chambres.

Really relaxing All good except we had our rooms changed because we had requested a ground floor room(my husband was recuperating from recent hip replacement, and my daughter and her husband wanted to keep on the ground floor and requested that plus a "pack and play" for the baby.. We were put near the nightly entertainment which was stupendously loud until 11pm. Not much sleep till then for our two rooms.

Ce centre de villégiature était très bien. La plage est parfaite pour les enfants car elle est peu profonde et l'eau est chaude sur une bonne distance. Le sable est doux et blanc et la plage est ratissée plusieurs fois par jour. Très bon endroit pour séjourner, la nourriture était bonne et les restaurants à la carte étaient très bons. Suffisamment petit pour ne pas avoir à marcher longtemps pour aller à la plage, aux restaurants, etc. depuis la chambre.

Great Place This resort was very good. The beach would be perfect for kids as it is shallow and warm water for a good distance. The sand was soft and white, and the beach was raked several times a day. Great place to stay, food was good and a la carte restaurants were very good. Small enough that you did not have to walk a long distance to get to beach, restaurants etc. from room .

Ce complexe est l'un des meilleurs de Cuba. La plage est propre et bien accessible depuis le centre de l'hôtel. Le personnel de l'hôtel est très sympathique et heureux de vous aider. Nous avons fait l'excursion en catamaran et c'était plus que ce à quoi je m'attendais. La nourriture laissait à désirer si vous aimez manger beaucoup de poisson, sinon c'est Cuba et ils n'ont pas grand-chose à offrir. Le bœuf n'est certainement pas au sommet de leur menu, car nous n'en avons pas mangé de toute la se [... lire plus]maine. Les toilettes manquent de sièges dans les toilettes des femmes et dans la plupart des toilettes publiques du complexe. Dans l'ensemble, je recommanderais certainement ce complexe et l'emplacement de Camaguey, un endroit très agréable à visiter.

extremely amazing resort This resort is one of the best in Cuba. The beach area is clean and well accessible from the main of the resort. The resort staff is very friendly and more than happy to help. We did the Catamaran tour and that was more than I expected. The food was left to be desired if you like to eat a lot of fish other than that it is Cuba and they do not have too much to offer. Beef is certainly not on the top of their menu as we did not have any the entire week. The washroom facilities lack toilet seats in the woman's washrooms for most of the public washrooms in the resort. Overall I would most certainly recommend this resort and the location Camaguey a very nice spot to visit.

Les chambres sont bonnes, la nourriture est bonne, l'emplacement est celui que j'avais demandé, le personnel est sympathique, le rapport qualité/prix est bon, il y a du soleil tous les jours. Plage, sable blanc, mais longue marche difficile jusqu'à la profondeur de baignade. Je n'ai jamais vu un vent aussi constant. Bonne piscine pour s'évader, bon service de bar. Divertissement, le pire jamais vu. Juste du bruit sans fin, et des jeux stupides, aucune qualité. Soi-disant un petit spectacle à la  [... lire plus]discothèque, mais après 23h.

Never seen such constant wind. Good pool to escape, good bar service. Entertainment , the worst ever . Just endless noise, and silly games, no quality. Brisas Santa Lucia: Grande période

Nous avons trouvé le centre de villégiature propre et le terrain bien entretenu, le personnel très amical et accommodant, les représentants de Transat serviables et informatifs. Il y avait quelques "algues" sur la plage (surtout après une journée venteuse) qu'ils ont essayé de nettoyer, ce n'était pas des algues que nous avons en été ici, il n'y avait pas d'odeur, donc cela ne m'a pas dérangé du tout. Je recommande vivement d'apporter un ensemble de tuba de Costco ou autre, le leur fonctionne ma [... lire plus]is est très basique. Il y a beaucoup de poissons près du corail et l'excursion "Playa Bonita" est idéale pour faire de la plongée avec masque et tuba. La nourriture était bonne au buffet, certainement pas ce que l'on trouve ici à tous les égards, mais nous avons trouvé nos plats préférés et nous y sommes retournés. D'après ce que nous avons entendu, "Brisas" a la meilleure sélection de nourriture de tous les resorts de Santa Lucia. Dans l'ensemble, nous avons passé un excellent séjour. J'ai répondu à toutes mes attentes. J'adore Cuba et ses habitants.

Great Time We found the resort clean and grounds well tended, the staff very friendly and accommodating, the Transat reps helpful and informative. There was some "seaweed" on the beach (especially after a windy day) that they attempted to clean up, It was not seaweed we have in the summer here, there was no smell, so it didn't bother me at all. I highly recommend bringing a snorkel set from Costco or something, theirs works but is very basic. Plenty of fish at the resort by the coral and the "Playa Bonita" excursion is a great for a snorkel experience. The food was fine at the buffet, certainly not what we can get here in all respects but we found our favourites that we returned to. From what we heard "Brisas" had the best food selection of all the resorts in Santa Lucia. Really had a great time over all. Met all my expectations. Love Cuba and the people.

Hotel Caracol: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Le site est magnifique, le personnel est très sympathique, les familles et les enfants sont les bienvenus. Mon seul reproche est que la guide touristique a été très enthousiaste lors de son accueil dans le bus, mais qu'ensuite elle n'a pas été très claire sur la façon d'organiser des excursions ou de la joindre au téléphone. Je recommande vivement à tous ceux qui aiment nager dans l'océan de se rendre à Coco Beach. Comme il n'y a pas de récif, l'eau contient moins d'algues et la baignade y est p [... lire plus]lus agréable.

Amazing resort! Beautiful grounds, very friendly staff, family and child friendly. My only complaint is I found the tour guide lady gave a very enthusiasti welcome on the bus but afterwards she was not very clear about how to set up any excursions or to reach her on the phone. I also highly recommend that anyone who loves swimming the ocean takes a trip to Coco beach - because the reef isn't there the water has less seaweed and is a nicer swim.

Hotel Caracol: Le meilleur 3 étoiles de tous les temps.

un centre de villégiature extraordinaire. L'équipe de divertissement est de premier ordre. Ils ont fait de chaque jour une expérience formidable. Le spectacle nocturne était génial. La plage et la piscine étaient superbes. Le buffet était correct, mais le bar à sandwichs le compensait. Le service était extraordinaire. Nous y retournerions n'importe quand.

Best 3 star ever. an amazing resort. The entertainment staff is top notch. They made everyday a great experience. The nightly show was great. The beach and pool were great. The buffet was ok, however the sandwhich bar made up for that. The service was amazing. We would go back anyday.

Brisas Santa Lucia: incroyable, comme toujours

c'est la dixième fois que je viens à Cuba et c'est la même chose pour Brisas Santa Lucia. Cette fois-ci, j'étais avec mon ami et mon petit-fils, comme toujours, nous avons passé un excellent moment, même si le temps n'était pas très bon les premiers jours, nous avons passé un excellent moment.L'attention personnelle que je reçois quand je vais là-bas, c'est comme si je rentrais à la maison, tout le monde me connaît et m'aide autant que possible car je marche avec une canne et ils sont toujours a [... lire plus]ttentifs pour que je ne tombe pas ou que je n'ai pas besoin de quelque chose, il y a toujours quelqu'un à portée de main, ma chambre est équipée d'une baignoire et d'une prise de bain au cas où je voudrais prendre un bain au lieu d'une douche,il n'y a rien à Brisas qu'ils ne feront pas pour vous et votre famille quand vous ferez partie des leurs, ce qui arrive quand vous y allez pour la première fois, moi et ma famille allons à Brisas 3 à 4 fois par an, j'ai été dans d'autres endroits mais Brisas Santa Lucia est chez moi, je le recommanderais à tous ceux qui veulent aller à Santa Lucia Camaguey.amusez-vous bien au soleil

amazing as always this was my 10 time to cuba and the same for Brisas Santa Lucia this time I was with my friend and my grandson as always we have a great time even though the weather was not great for the first few days we had a great time .The personal attention I get when I go there is like coming home everyone knows me and helps me as much as they can for I walk with a cane ant they are always attentive so as I do not fall or I need something there is always someone in hand,my room is equipped with bath math and bat plug in case I would like a bath instead of shower,there is nothing at Brisas that thye will not do for you and your family when your part of theirs which what happens when you first go there,me and my family go to brisas 3 to 4 times a year I have been to other places but brisas santa lucia is home I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to santa lucia camaguey .have fun in the sun

Brisas Santa Lucia: Belle station !

Cet hôtel était un peu délabré, mais il était très propre, le terrain était impeccable et le personnel était formidable ! Je recommanderais sans hésiter cet établissement à quelqu'un qui souhaite s'évader à un prix raisonnable !!!!!!!

Nice resort! This hotel was a bit run down however very clean, grounds were kept immaculate and staff were amazing! I would definitely recommend this resort for someone who wanted to get away at a great price!!!!!!!

Brisas Santa Lucia: Essai mais échec

Plage : BEAUCOUP d'algues les deux premiers jours. C'était à tel point qu'il était dégoûtant de marcher à travers (voir photo). Peu ou pas de plongée avec masque et tuba sur la plage. Il faut aller vers le bas de la plage pour avoir un aperçu du noyau. Plus chaud que la piscine, c'est certain. Les chaises longues sont bonnes et mauvaises. Beaucoup sont neuves mais beaucoup sont sales, étirées au point d'être affaissées et inconfortables et beaucoup de celles en plastique ont des bras cassés. Nou [... lire plus]rriture : Le buffet était à peu près le même tous les jours, à l'exception du grill. Le personnel de service est au mieux médiocre. Nous avons eu de nombreux repas où nous nous sommes assis, avons mangé et sommes partis sans que personne ne s'arrête à notre table. Nous avons pris deux Ala cartes. Le Cuba était délicieux et les fruits de mer étaient à l'autre bout du spectre. Leur cocktail de fruits de mer consistait en des stocks de crabe transformés, coupés puis mélangés à de la mayo. Il n'y avait plus de ketchup, de moutarde, de boissons gazeuses, ni de citron vert ou de menthe. Parfois, nous avons dû essayer trois bars avant d'obtenir une boisson parce que l'électricité était douteuse ou que le robinet d'eau ne fonctionnait pas. La chambre : Une grande tache sur l'une des couvertures qui n'a jamais été changée. Un cafard d'autocar a été écrasé la première nuit sur le sol de la salle de bain. La chaîne en or et le pendentif de ma femme ont été volés le premier jour également (ils auraient dû fouiller dans nos affaires pour les trouver). Lorsque nous avons obtenu un code de coffre-fort, il ne fonctionnait pas. Nous avons attendu deux heures dans notre chambre que l'homme vienne le réparer. Les femmes de chambre ont fait un excellent travail et l'équipe d'entretien du terrain a fait un excellent travail pour maintenir la station propre. La station limite le papier hygiénique au fur et à mesure que la semaine avance car de nombreux touristes l'emportent avec eux, car partout en dehors de la station, il n'est pas fourni ! Pas même à l'aéroport. La piscine : la piscine est propre mais froide. Si vous avez des enfants, surveillez-les de près car le maître-nageur s'assoit derrière le tableau des règles pour se protéger du soleil. Il ne peut voir que la moitié (peut-être) de la piscine. De nombreux jeux durent toute la journée, mais ils sont très bruyants. Les Qubecquois représentent une bonne partie des visiteurs et ils le savent. Ils sont insistants, impolis et ignorants (pas tous, mais une grande partie d'entre eux).

Tried But Failed Beach: LOADS of seaweed the first two days. It was to the point of disgusting to walk through (see picture). Little to no snorkeling right at the beach. Must head down the beach to get a glimpse of core. Warmer then the pool for sure. Lounge chairs are good and bad. Many are new but a great deal are dirty, stretched to the point of being saggy and uncomfortable and many of the plastic ones have broken arms. Food: Buffet was pretty much the same everyday with the exception of the grill. It varied between chicken, fish and pork chops.The service staff is lack luster at best. We had many meals where we sat, ate and left without having anyone at all stop at our table at all. We had two Ala cartes. Cuba was delicious and seafood was the other end if the spectrum. Their seafood cocktail consisted of processed I'm at a to on crab stocks cut and then stirred in mayo. They ran out of ketchup, mustard and had no slush drinks, ran out if limes and mint also. On occasion we had to try three bars before we could get a drink because the power was sketchy or the water world not work. The Room: Large stain on one of the covers and was never changed. Coach roach was smashed the first night on the bathroom floor. My wife's gold chain and pendant was stolen the first day also ( they would have had to go through our things to find it) we couldn't get a safe that night and had to wait. When we did get a safe code it would not work. We waited for two hours in our room for the man to come fix it. Maids did an excellent job and the grounds crew did a great job maintaining a clean resort. The resort limits the toilet tissue as the week goes on because many tourists take it with them because anywhere off the resort it is not supplied!! Not even the airport. The Pool: pool is clean but cold. If you have kids keep a close eye because the lifeguard sits behind the rules board to get out of the sun. He can only see half (maybe) of the pool. Many games go all day but very loud. Qubecquois make up a good portion of the visitors here and they know it. Pushy rude and ignorant (not all but a great deal of them).

La chambre est spacieuse, très propre et les lits très confortables, le mobilier est vieux et peu abondant, l'endroit a besoin d'un entretien de base ! Cependant, pour le prix et par rapport aux stations voisines, c'était le meilleur. Il n'y a pas grand chose à voir dans les environs immédiats, nous vous conseillons donc de faire un tour en bateau pour voir le récif corallien, et de prendre les chevaux pour faire le t [... lire plus]our du lagon. Apportez de l'argent canadien et changez-le à la banque voisine, vous ne pouvez pas compter sur les cartes de crédit qui fonctionnent la moitié du temps. Great resort very nice facility, excellent service, everything is clean, neat and tidy. The room is spacious, very clean and beds very comfy, furniture is old and sparse, place needs some basic maintenance ! However, for the price and compared to the neighbor resorts, this was the best. Not much to see in the immediate area, so we suggest the boat ride to see the coral reef, and take the horses for a tour around the lagoon. Bring Canadian money and exchange at the nearby bank, can't rely on credit cards working half the time. Overall, we loved the beach, the pool area and met tons of great people. Will

Hotel Caracol: DU PLAISIR, DU SOLEIL ET DU BON TEMPS !

L'hôtel était correct et la nourriture n'était pas la meilleure, mais qui va à Cuba pour la nourriture ? Notre chambre était très bien, comme l'idée d'avoir 2 chambres séparées. Le personnel était très amusant et a vraiment apprécié la discothèque. Les excursions sont proposées et nous avons passé un bon moment au King Ranch. La plage était super, un peu venteuse mais on a quand même pris beaucoup de soleil. Très bon rapport qualité/prix, je recommanderais ce complexe pour des vacances.

FUN AND SUN AND GREAT TIME! Hotel was ok and the food not the best but who goes to Cuba for the food? Our room was great like the idea of having 2 separate rooms. Staff great fun and really enjoyed the disco. Excursions are offered and had a great time at the King Ranch. Beach was great alittle windy but still got lots of sun. Great value for the price for sure I would recommend this resort for a vacation.

Brisas Santa Lucia: Ok, mais je ne reviendrais pas

Nous avons eu un temps magnifique, avec des températures de 30 degrés toute la semaine ! La plage avait beaucoup d'algues qui étaient régulièrement nettoyées par un tracteur. La piscine était assez fraîche et pas trop fréquentée. Les bars étaient basiques, ils étaient à court de menthe et de lait de coco avant la fin de la journée et n'avaient pas de citron vert. Beaucoup de rhum décent ! Les employés étaient sympathiques et répondaient aux pourboires ! Pas de wifi et internet très limité pour u [... lire plus]n certain prix, les cartes d'appel semblaient également être une prime, je n'ai pas pu en obtenir une de toute la semaine. Les chambres étaient très basiques, les serviettes blanches étaient tachées et les draps n'étaient pas changés tous les jours. (Nous avons reçu une bonne bouteille de rhum avec 2 canettes de cola et une bouteille d'eau le premier jour, sans remplacement. L'électricité se coupait plusieurs fois par jour. Il y avait juste assez d'eau chaude pour une douche rapide et un jour, les tuyaux se sont cassés et nous n'en avions plus. Quant à la nourriture, tout ce que je peux dire, c'est merci pour les omelettes du matin ! Les buffets étaient les mêmes tous les jours, et le choix n'était pas du tout impressionnant ! Les chariots à la carte n'étaient pas mieux.

Ok, but wouldn't return We had great weather, 30s all week! The beach had a lot of seaweed that was regularly being cleaned up by a tractor. The pool was quite cool and not too busy. The bars were basic, they ran out of mint & coconut milk before the end of the day and didn't have limes. Lots of decent rum! The employees were friendly and definitely responded to tips! No wifi and very limited internet for a price, calling cards also seemed to be a premium, couldn't get one all week. The rooms were very basic, the white towels showed stains and the sheets weren't changed daily. (Not that I mind so much, but the sand was a little 'off-putting'.) We got a nice bottle of rum with 2 cans of cola and a bottle of water on day one, no replacements. The power would go off a few times a day. Only enough hot water for 1 quick shower and one day the pipes broke so we had none. As for the food, all I can say is thank goodness for the morning omeletes! The buffets were the same everyday, not impressed with the choices at all! The a la carts weren't much better.
