Club Tropical: Complexe touristique exceptionnel

Excellente situation ! Belle plage ! Personnel sympathique ! J'ai été à Cuba 15 fois et c'est l'hôtel que j'appelle maintenant chez moi ! Les chambres sont toutes superbes et la nourriture et les boissons sont les meilleures que j'ai eues dans tous les hôtels où j'ai séjourné à Cuba. Les divertissements étaient amusants et animés. La journée cubaine est remplie de friandises pour les adultes et les enfants. Oh, et la fête de la mousse est un succès ! J'ai hâte de revenir.

Amazing Resort Excellent location! Beautiful beach! Friendly staff! I have been to Cuba 15 times and this will be the hotel I call home now! The rooms are all great and the food and drinks were the best I have had from any hotel I have stayed at in Cuba. The entertainment was fun and lively. Their Cuban Day is filled with lots of treats for adults and children. Oh and the foam party is a hit! Can’t wait to return.

Hotel Villa Cuba: Le centre de villégiature s'est complètement dégradé

Nous fréquentons ce complexe depuis 2003 et au cours des dernières années, il s'est dégradé, mais cette fois-ci, c'était la pire.... les Cubains les plus riches sont prioritaires dans les villas, surtout avec piscine, la bière au bar de la piscine était arrosée de soda, le buffet était complètement rempli de cafards... Nos chambres étaient nettoyées tous les jours mais les draps étaient vraiment tachés, nos toilettes fuyaient du réservoir et nous l'avons signalé... Rien n'a été fait... Nous avon [... lire plus]s dû mettre des serviettes sur le sol autour des toilettes pour ne pas tomber ou glisser dans l'eau, le dîner était charmant mais la personne chargée des relations publiques est restée assise à une table toute la soirée et n'a même pas demandé à la fin de la soirée si l'on s'était bien amusé... Elle a ignoré le reste des clients les rampes d'accès à la plage sont en train d'être remplacées, mais elles sont très dangereuses Beaucoup de membres du personnel travaillent dans ce complexe depuis des années et sont devenus nos amis Ils voient aussi que leur complexe n'est pas bien, mais ils ne peuvent rien dire ou faire pour y remédier C'est une situation très triste

Resort has gone completely downhill We have been going to this resort since 2003 and over the last few years it has been going down hill but this time was the worst…. the Richer Cubans are given priority in Villas, especially with pools, the beer at the pool bar was watered down with soda, the buffett was completely loaded with cockroaches…our rooms were cleaned daily but the sheets were definitely stained, our toilet leaked from the tank and we reported it… nothing was done… we had to put towels on the floor around the toilet to not fall or slip in the water, the re was a Canadian return patrons dinner that was put on by the public relations department … the dinner was lovely but the public relations person basically sat at 1 table all evening and didn’t even ask at the end of the evening if a good time was had… she basically ignored the rest of the patrons… the ramps to the beach are being slowly replaced but are very unsafe… many of the staff have been at this resort for years and become our friends… they also see that their resort is not good but they are not able to say or do anything about it… it is a very sad situation

Melia Marina Varadero: Station balnéaire pauvre

Je soupçonne qu'il s'agissait autrefois d'un bon complexe hôtelier, mais ce n'est plus le cas aujourd'hui. Les chaises dans le hall étaient déchirées et tachées, pas de parasols autour de la piscine, nourriture et alcool très limités. Le restaurant de la plage n'était pas ouvert. La plage, cependant, était magnifique. Nous avions une chambre avec vue sur la marina, ce qui était agréable. A déconseiller.

Poor resort I suspect this was once a good resort but not now. The chairs in lobby were ripped and stained, no umbrellas around the pool, food and alcohol very limited. Beach restaurant not open. The beach, however, was beautiful. We had a room with a Marina view which was nice. Would not recommend.

Playa Vista Azul: Un centre de villégiature extraordinaire !

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Play Vista Azul. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute ! Nous avons lu plusieurs commentaires avant d'arriver et ils mentionnaient qu'il fallait passer à la catégorie Premium, ce que nous avons fait dès notre arrivée. Nous n'étions pas sûrs que cela en valait la peine au début, mais cela en vaut vraiment la peine. Notre chambre était superbe avec vue sur l'océan et sur la piscine inifinity. Nous avons passé des moments inoubliables, avec tant de divertissements chaqu [... lire plus]e jour, et nous n'avons jamais eu faim. La nourriture était excellente au Premium et vous pouvez manger du homard tous les soirs si vous le souhaitez. Tout simplement incroyable.

Amazing Resort!! We loved our stay at the Play Vista Azul. We will definitely be back!! We read a bunch of reviews before arriving and they mentioned to upgrade to Premium so we did that upon arrival. We were not sure if it was worth it at first but it definitely is worth it. Our room was amazing ocean view overlooking the inifinity pool. We had the best time so much enterainment everyday and we never went hungry. The food was awesome in Premium and you can eat Lobster every night if you want. Just amazing.

Melia Peninsula Varadero: Bon centre de villégiature

Compte tenu du fait qu'il s'agit de Cuba, il manque un peu de choses. Pas de beurre mais beaucoup de pain. De plus, l'hôtel a fait de son mieux pour nous accommoder mais avec l'embargo, c'est difficile pour eux de le faire. Le personnel était très bien, sauf une fois où Victor, le responsable de la nourriture et des boissons, a rectifié le tir rapidement. Good Resort Given the fact it is Cuba it is a bit lacking on stuff. No butter but lots of bread. Also the resort had done its best to accomidate us but with the embargo its hard for them we get that. The staff were great except on e bad encounter which Victor the food and beverage manager rectified promptly. Good vacation otherwise now we are looking forward in our booking with Trip Central to Mexico last day of Aug. Plan on a trip to Cuba next year. Till next time. Chanse and Stephanie

Hotel Los Cactus: Le meilleur hôtel

Nous sommes allés à Be LIve Adults Only Los Cactus pour mon anniversaire, le personnel était incroyable, amical et si chaleureux qu'ils vous connaissent par votre nom et que je me suis sentie comme chez moi.Paul a organisé un dîner romantique surprise pour mon mari et moi, c'était le plus beau cadeau pour mon anniversaire. Je recommande vivement d'aller à l'hôtel, c'est l'un des meilleurs, je lui donnerais une note de dix, j'y retournerai avec mes amis l'année prochaine. The best hotel It was one of the best vacation my husband and I ever had we went to Be LIve Adults Only Los Cactus for my birthday the staff was amazing friendly and so warm they know you by name and that make me feel at home.Paul went and plan a surprise romantic dinner for my husband and I that was the best gift for my birthday. I highly recommended going to the hotel it is one of the best my rating I would give it a ten I will be going back with my friends next year. I miss the friendly staff beautiful beach ,the entertainment and the food. Well spent vacation thank you all.

Special thanks to Kandy, guest services, for making sure our stay was as pleasant as possible. Challenge is the supplies in Cuba. No premium alcohol, only local rum available. Same with food selection. If they solve the supply-chain problem, this hotel could easy take the 5 star title!

Memories Jibacoa: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Ce qui nous a le plus impressionnés, c'est la quantité et la qualité de la nourriture. Il y avait une telle variété de choix. Le personnel était formidable. Il n'y a absolument rien à redire sur ce complexe. Le personnel de l'établissement travaillait tous les jours pour rendre l'endroit magnifique.

Amazing resort We had an amazing time. What impressed us the most was the amount of food and the quality. Such a large variety to choose from. The staff was awesome. Absolutely no complaints about this resort. The grounds staff were working every day to make it look beautiful.

Occidental Arenas Blancas: Superbe emplacement

C'est un endroit formidable. Nous avons pu profiter de la plage à une courte distance de marche. Le personnel est toujours occupé à travailler et à sourire. La nourriture était correcte, nous n'avons pas été affamés. Nous avons pu manger, nager et boire au solymar et à Palma real avec ce forfait. Tout est super proche et central. Superb location This is a great place. We got to enjoy the beach with such a short walk. The staff are always busy working and smiling. The food was ok, we didn’t starve. We got to eat, swim and drink at the solymar and Palma real with this package. Everything is super close and central. For the price, you can’t beat it!! Book it

Playa Caleta: Un centre de villégiature exceptionnel

Roc varedero était un excellent complexe, le personnel se surpasse pour vous servir, le personnel du bar est merveilleux, Aniel, nelizaj, Marlenea, marabel, et les nouveaux étaient merveilleux, ils ont travaillé très dur pour garder le bar et le salon beaux, l'hôtel était très propre, les terrains étaient très beaux, la plage était proche, l'animation était bonne, nous n'étions pas très satisfaits de la nourriture, ce n'était pas ancien, c'était la même chose tous les jours, l'huile de cuisson é [... lire plus]tait horrible, ils l'utilisaient sur tout, si la nourriture était bien meilleure, le complexe serait parfait, il est proche de la ville, de la plage et de la piscine, juste la nourriture, cela dit, il y a une pénurie de tout à Cuba, la pandémie n'a pas été bonne pour Cuba, les gens luttent, nous avons toujours réservé avec Carol Webber, elle est géniale, tout s'est très bien passé du début à la fin, je la recommande vivement,

Amazing resort Roc varedero was a great resort, the staff goes above and beyond, to serve you , the bar staff is wonderful, Aniel, nelizaj, Marlenea, marabel, and the new ones were wonderful, they worked very hard to keep the bar and sitting room beautiful, the hotel was very clean, the grounds were very nice, the beach was close by, entertainment was good, we weren’t too happy with the food, it was not antiquit , it was the same thing everyday, the cooking oil was awful, they used it on everything, if the food was a lot better the resort would be perfect, it’s close to town, beach and pool, just the food, having said that, there is a shortage of everything in Cuba , the pandemic was not good for Cuba, the people are struggling, we have always booked with carol Webber, she’s great , everything went very smoothly from start to finish, I highly recommend her,

Playa Vista Azul: Belle station balnéaire

Assez propre. Nourriture décente. Personnel sympathique et serviable. Très belle piscine à débordement pour prendre des photos du coucher de soleil et siroter des boissons. Il y a une longue marche pour aller à la plage, et il y a des escaliers, ce qui est un peu gênant. Personne ne vient sur la plage pour vous demander des boissons, même de l'eau. Il faut donc se débrouiller tout seul. Il n'y a pas non plus de toilettes à proximité, il faut donc marcher jusqu'au hall principal. Il n'y avait p [... lire plus]as de spectacles, juste quelques animations dans le hall principal le soir, ce qui était décent mais rien d'extraordinaire. C'est un hôtel correct, mais rien de luxueux, donc je ne lui donnerais pas 5 étoiles. 4 étoiles est acceptable.

Nice resort Fairly clean. Decent food. Friendly personnel and helpful. Very nice infinity pool to take sunset pics and sip away your drinks. There is a long walk to get to the beach, plus it has stairs which is a bit inconvenient. No one comes on the beach to ask you for drinks, even water. So you have to get your own. Also there are no washrooms within proximity, so there is a walk to the main lobby. There were no shows, just some entertainment in the main lobby in the evenings, which was decent but nothing great. It is an okay hotel, but nothing luxurious so I would not give it 5 stars. 4 stars is acceptable.

L'hôtel est très beau et propre, la nourriture est correcte pour cette période difficile pour tout le monde, mais pour moi la nourriture n'est pas vraiment importante, l'atmosphère autour, le temps, les gens..

Je suis allé dans ce resort en 2014 et je pensais que la qualité du séjour serait la même, j'ai eu tort. Une blague absolue pour un hôtel "5 étoiles", la nourriture était médiocre au mieux. Il y a des jours dans notre séjour qu'ils n'avaient pas de lait pour le breakfest, pas de fromage, pas de sucre. Il fallait faire la queue pendant plus de 30 minutes pour obtenir une omelette ou n'importe quel type d'œuf. Il est arrivé que les bars de la plage n'aient pas de glace et que les boissons soient p [... lire plus]itoyables. Demandez un verre dans n'importe quel bar et vous obtiendrez différents mélanges de boissons, comment pouvez-vous vous tromper dans les boissons ? Il y a tellement à dire mais j'ai déjà perdu mon temps à fréquenter un hôtel horrible, je ne vais pas passer plus de temps sur ce sujet. Il faut éviter cet "hôtel" et, pour moi, ne plus jamais aller à Cuba.

NEVER AGAIN I went to this resort in 2014 and thought the quality of the stay would be the same boy was i wrong. Absolute joke for a "5 star" hotel, Food was mediocre at best. There were days in our stay that they had no milk for breakfest, no cheese, no sugar. Wait 30+ min in line to get an Omelett or any kind off eggs. There were times the bars at the beach had no ice, drinks were pathetic. Ask for a drink at any bar and get different mixed drinks, how can you mess up drinks? So much more to say but i already wasted my time attending a horrible hotel, not going to spend more time on this. Save yourself from this "hotel" and for me NEVER again Cuba.

Le terrain et la plage sont tout simplement magnifiques. Les chambres sont désuètes mais propres et spacieuses. Notre porte patio ne se verrouillait pas et ils n'ont rien fait à ce sujet. La nourriture était toujours fraîche et abondante mais très répétitive. Vous trouverez du poisson frais tous les jours, du poulet et du porc occasionnellement. Les restaurants à la carte servent la même nourriture que le buffet, mais préparée différemment. J'ai été choqué par l'attitude de certains barmans et [... lire plus] serveurs. Certains étaient assez impolis et discutaient avec des amis et des collègues de travail tout en ignorant les clients. Je pense que ce complexe manque d'une touche personnelle en raison de sa taille. Les serveurs et les barmans changent tous les jours. La musique était extrêmement forte à la piscine et à la plage. Les divertissements étaient bons mais il y avait les mêmes artistes tous les soirs, juste des formats différents. Je ne reviendrai pas.

Mediocre The grounds and beach are simply beautiful. The rooms are outdated but clean and spacious. Our patio door would not lock and they didn’t do anything about it. The food was always fresh and plentiful but very repetitive. You will find fresh fish daily, chicken and pork occasionally. The a la carte restaurants serve the same food as buffet just prepared a different way. One thing that shocked me was the attitudes of some of the bartenders and serving staff. Some were quite rude and would have conversations with friends and co workers and ignore guests. This resort is lacking the personal touch I believe because of its size. You have different servers and bartenders daily. The music was extremely loud at the pool and beach. The entertainment was good but had the same performers every night just different formats. I will not be returning.

Selectum Family Resort Varadero: Un lieu de villégiature absolument magnifique

Le personnel était formidable, la nourriture était excellente et ne manquait de rien. Les chambres étaient belles et nettoyées tous les jours... Le seul inconvénient était la plage, mais si vous marchez un peu, vous pouvez trouver une zone où il n'y a pas de rochers. On m'a dit que cela serait corrigé. De plus, vous pouvez prendre le bus pour 5 $ pour la journée et aller en ville jusqu'à la plus belle plage. On peut y déjeuner et visiter les marchés. Nous reviendrons certainement à cet end [... lire plus]roit et nous avons vérifié les prix pour la fin de l'année.

Absolutely Beutiful Resort The staff were amazing, food was great and not lacking of anything. The rooms were beautiful and cleaned everyday.. The only downfall was the beach, but if you walked a little you can find an area where there are no rocks. I was told that this would be corrected. Also, you can catch the bus for $5 for day use, and go into town to the most amazing beach. Enjoy lunch, as well as check out the markets. We would definitely visit this location again, and have been checking out the prices for later this year.

Honnêtement, j'ai été déçu par ce complexe hôtelier après avoir été à Cuba de nombreuses fois, dont une fois en février de l'année dernière pendant la pandémie. Je pensais que ce serait l'un des meilleurs complexes de Varadero. Le service et la chambre étaient corrects. Le terrain aurait besoin d'un peu d'entretien, les chaises de plage sont vieilles, la plage n'a pas été entretenue tous les jours ou pas du tout je crois pendant notre séjour. Le buffet n'était pas hygiénique ni propre à mon avis [... lire plus]. On ne nous a offert que deux voiturettes à la carte et nous avons dû nous battre pour obtenir la partie de golf gratuite annoncée. La nourriture était certainement la pire que j'ai eue à Cuba. Certains jours, pas de pain, pas de fromage, pas de poulet ni de bœuf, pas de pizza ni de frites. Les hamburgers et les hot-dogs sont arrivés le dernier jour. Principalement du riz, des haricots et du porc. Pas de vodka, de tequila, de vin blanc ou de champagne. Difficile d'obtenir un verre de vin rouge. Ayant été à Cuba, je n'y allais pas pour la nourriture, mais pour la plage qui est magnifique. Pour un complexe 5 étoiles, ne pas être accueilli avec un cocktail à l'arrivée était décevant. Je retournerai éventuellement à Cuba, mais je leur laisserai le temps de se remettre du Covid et des pénuries de nourriture et de boissons.

Disappointed 😔 Honestly, disappointed with this resort having been to Cuba many times, one being in February last year during the pandemic. I thought this was to be one of the better resorts in Varadero. The service and room was ok. Grounds could use some upkeep, beach chairs are old, beach not maintained daily or at all I believe during our stay. Buffet not sanitary or clean in my opinion. We were only offered 2 a la carts and had to fight for the advertised free round of golf. Food was definitely the worst I have had in Cuba. Some days no bread, or cheese, no chicken or beef, pizza or fries. Burgers and hotdogs came in the last day. Mainly rice, beans, pork. No vodka, tequila, white wine or champagne. Hard to get a glass of red wine. Having been to Cuba I was not going for the food, I was going for the beach which is beautiful. For a 5 star resort not being welcomed with a cocktail upon arrival was disappointing. Will eventually go back to Cuba, but will give them time to recover from Covid and food/drink shortages.
