Greenwood Inn and Suites: Ce n'est pas ce qu'on espérait

Je n’aime pas laisser d’avis négatifs, car personne n’est parfait. Mais nous avons été déçus par la propreté de l’hôtel. Le sol de l’ascenseur était sale, les moquettes du couloir étaient usées et semblaient avoir accumulé des années de crasse, et lorsque nous sommes entrés dans notre chambre, nous avons été assaillis par une forte odeur que nous avons d’abord prise pour de la sueur. J’ai compris par la suite que, s’agissant d’un hôtel acceptant les animaux, il s’agissait probablement d’une od [... lire plus]eur de chien. Au cours de notre séjour de trois nuits, notre chambre n’a pas été rangée une seule fois, et au moment de notre départ, toutes les poubelles et le bac de tri débordaient sur le sol. La chambre elle-même était correcte en termes de taille et d’équipements, mais l’odeur était vraiment désagréable. De plus, lors de notre enregistrement, j’ai demandé au réceptionniste de nous recommander des restaurants locaux et des lieux proposant des concerts, mais il ne semblait vraiment pas très disposé à nous faire des suggestions… ce qui contrastait fortement avec tous les autres hôtels où nous avions séjourné à Terre-Neuve. Je suis désolée de ne pas pouvoir donner un avis plus positif, mais ce fut une expérience décevante.

Not what we’d hoped for I don’t like to give negative reviews, because nobody’s perfect. But we were disappointed with the cleanliness of the hotel. The floors in the elevator were dirty, the carpets in the hallway were worn and looked like they’d seen years of grime, and when we entered our hotel room, we were hit with a strong odour of what we thought was sweat. I later deduced that, it being a pet-friendly hotel, was probably a dog smell. During our 3-night stay, our room was not made up once, and by the time we left, all the trash cans and the blue box were overflowing onto the floor. The room itself was fine in terms of size and amenities, but the odour was very off-putting. Also, when we checked in, I asked the man at reception for some recommendations about local restaurants and live music spots, and he really didn’t seem that interested in offering suggestions…….which was very different from every other hotel we had stayed at in Newfoundland. I’m sorry I can’t give a better review, but it was a disappointing experience.

Fairfield Inn and Suites St. John's: Séjour agréable

Le concierge a été extrêmement gentil et serviable lors de l'enregistrement. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. L'hôtel n'est pas tout à fait au centre-ville, nous avons donc dû prendre un Uber pour nous rendre partout, mais ce n'était pas cher. Le petit déjeuner était correct. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour.

Nice Stay The concierge was extremely nice and helpful when we checked in. The room was spacious and comfortable. It’s not quite downtown so we had to Uber everywhere but it wasn’t expensive. Breakfast was decent. Enjoyed our stay.

Courtyard by Marriott St. John's: Excellent hôtel

La chambre était confortable et propre. Le lit était ferme et très confortable. Le restaurant Gian's était fabuleux. Nous y avons pris nos petits déjeuners et nos dîners pendant les trois jours où nous avons séjourné à l'hôtel. La vue sur le port depuis le restaurant était magnifique. L'un des plats était une chaudrée de fruits de mer qui était la meilleure que j'aie jamais mangée.

Excellent Hotel The room was comfortable and clean. The bed was firm and very comfortable. Gian's restaurant was fabulous. We ate both breakfasts and dinners there for the 3 days that we stayed at the hotel. The view of the harbour from the restaurant was amazing. One of there dishes was a seafood chowder which was the best I've ever had.

Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland: Un week-end fantastique

Le Sheraton de St. John's était fantastique. Il était très propre et confortable. Le restaurant était et la nourriture était toujours fraîche. Le service était également très bon. L'hôtel est très bien situé et permet d'accéder facilement à pied au Pedestrian Mall, à George Street et à tous les restaurants de Water Street.

A Fantastic Weekender The Sheraton in St. John’s was fantastic. It was very clean and comfortable. The restaurant was great and the food was always fresh. Service was very good too. Great location with easy walking access to the Pedestrian Mall, George Street and all the restaurants along Water Street.

Fairfield Inn and Suites St. John's: Bon hôtel

Bon emplacement, excellent service, prix raisonnable, propre dans la plupart des cas. Les lits sont corrects, le parking est spacieux, il y a une petite piscine et d'autres installations. Notre séjour s'est bien passé. Pas de problème. Je le recommanderais aux visiteurs de la région de St. John's.

Good hotel Good Location, excellent service, reasonable price, clean in most parts. Beds are ok, spacious parking, includes small swimming pool and other facilities. Our stay was good. No hassle. I would recommend it to visitors visiting St. John's area.

Delta Prince Edward: hôtel bien géré

le personnel, de l'enregistrement à l'entretien ménager, en passant par le bar, a fourni un excellent service les chambres étaient très bien faites très bien fait emplacement imbattable toutes les demandes ont été traitées sans poser de questions le parking était aussi très bien souterrain pei est super province

well run hotel the staff from check in to housekeeping to bar keep all excellent service the rooms were very well done location unbeatable all requests were handled with no questions asked the parking was also very good underground pei is super province

Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland: Excellente situation !

J'ai été très impressionné par l'hôtel et ses installations. La chambre était excellente, le lit confortable et la télévision géniale. Le journal local Telegram est disponible à tous les étages et le café et le thé sont disponibles gratuitement dans le hall le matin. Le personnel du bureau des excursions a été très serviable et nous a réservé une excursion Iceberg Quest. Nous avons apprécié la piscine et le bain à remous au niveau inférieur et il n'y avait jamais trop de monde. Pour ma femme et  [... lire plus]moi, l'emplacement était excellent, à 5 minutes à pied des rues Water et Duckworth. Nous avons apprécié le fait qu'à l'extérieur de l'hôtel, nous avions accès au service de taxis Bugden's. Les taxis étaient relativement bon marché. Les taxis étaient relativement bon marché et nous avons pu nous rendre aux principales attractions touristiques. Un autre avantage est que nous étions très proches des restaurants et des magasins. Nous étions un peu inquiets de l'imminence de l'ouragan Arthur, et nous avons reçu des instructions en cas d'urgence, mais heureusement l'ouragan s'est dissipé au moment où il a atteint St. John's. Les salons du hall principal sont très confortables. Nous n'avons jamais mangé au restaurant et la seule préoccupation était que les prix du petit déjeuner nous semblaient un peu élevés, évidemment beaucoup de gens étaient là pour des conventions d'affaires. Tout le monde, le personnel et les clients, était très amical et nous étions des visiteurs pour la première fois et toutes les personnes que nous avons rencontrées nous ont beaucoup aidés à nous orienter. Nous avons énormément apprécié notre séjour et si nous revenons, nous séjournerons sans aucun doute dans cet hôtel.

Great Location! I was very impressed with the hotel and it's facilities. The room was excellent, comfortable bed with great tv. Great to have local newspaper Telegram available on all floors and also wonderful to have free coffee and tea available in the lobby in the morning. Staff at the trip desk were very helpful and booked an Iceberg Quest tour for us. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the lower level and it was never too crowded. For my wife and I the location was excellent, easy walking (5 minutes) from Water and Duckworth Street. It was great that outside the hotel we had access to Bugden's Taxi Service. Taxi's were relatively inexpensive and we taxied to the major tourist attractions. Another plus was that we were very close to restaurants and stores. We were a bit worried with the impending Hurricane Arthur, and we were given directions if there were any emergencies but thankfully the hurricane fizzled out by the time it reached St. John's. Very comfortable lounges to sit in on the main lobby. We never ate in the restaurant and the only concern was that prices for breakfast we felt were a bit steep, obviously many people were there for business conventions. Everyone, staff and guests were very friendly and we were first time visitors and everyone we met were very helpful with directions. We enjoyed our stay immensely and if we visit again, we would definitely stay in the hotel.
