The Hotel was in a great location,minutes from the beach, 15 minutes from the airport. Our room was clean,the maids did an excellent job . Staff were friendly. The restaurant was right on the water and had nice views of the boats. The only complaint was the location of our room. It was located in the interior of the hotel with no views. We had no natural light and had to keep the blinds shut for privacy. Unfortunately the hotel was sold out so we were stuck in the location.

Overall Great hotel. Awesome staff, great restaurants onsite. Amazing views and beach. Very clean with nice decor. I would return to this location. The only downside is this location is a 2 hour drive from MCO ORLANDO airport included with our package. Flying into Tampa would be easier.

A pleasant surprise started from the beginning. We arrived early and asked to check in. While our room was not ready upon arrival, we didn’t wait long. Within 90 minutes, we had received a text indicating we were able to check in and use our room. Each day, we received text messages asking us if there was anything they could improve upon and the few times we did ask for help, our request was followed up in a timely fashion. Refreshing to see a hotel chain interested in serving better while your still there and not after you have left. Great proactive measures Hilton! We will book soon again! Thanks!

When we first arrived we were given a ground floor room on the parking lot with a staircase right outside our door. We felt like we were in a roadside motel. After voicing our concerns we were moved to a room with a balcony. Upon arrival in this room the fridge door was open as the freezer was so iced up the door could not close. I had to chip away the ice to close the door. I did not realize until the next morning that the fridge was not even on. There was water everywhere that I had to clean. The next morning I woke up to find three very large cockroaches. I had to call the front desk to have them come and spray the room. Besides the room issues the resort is nice. Location wonderful. Front desk staff not so wonderful. They could use some customer service lessons. Lastly the resort fee is rather steep for what you get in return so be aware of that if booking.

This hotel has helpful staff, a short walk to the beach, a restaurant “Jimmy Guanas” on location with great food, and and overall good experience. It has something for everyone (mini golf, pool, water park next door, etc.)

While I had an nice time at the Sirata, I do question the word resort. Having to pay a resort fee which doesn’t include an umbrella at the beach? Resort kept very clean and staff friendly. The wifi was horrible. Unable to connect in building 1. Shout out to the beach service team.

We loved the location/area of this condo rental/hotel, and will be returning every Spring going forward, however to a different hotel. The rooms here have major wear and tear and therefore need a good renovation (carpets/upholstery/tile/paint,etc), as well as improved cleaning. Our floor had not been swept/vacuumed and therefore not moped before we checked in, and the place was just filthy overall (both our condo's as we rented two next door to one another). Needless to say I spent too much time cleaning on my vacation. We tried to overlook as to not let it ruin our time, but it was a real damper to say the least :(

As this was our first trip to Florida , pleasantly surprised at the location and appearance of this hotel. Very close to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and stores. Upon arrival and reading from other reviews, the age and appearance of this hotel was exactly what we were looking for, older and not too large. Upon check-in we were assigned a smaller room overlooking the back of hotel. We spoke with receptionist and was given an upgrade to a suite on inner section of hotel directly across from lobby for additional fee. This too was unsatisfactory as we could not leave shades open due to traffic from main desk. After speaking to hotel manager Charles, he went out of his way to make our stay remarkable. He assigned us an executive suite on harbourside with no additional charges from our original price. This room was exceptional as it had a kitchen and separate bedroom with bathroom. Our ten day stay at this central hotel was truly enjoyable as we were able to visit both north and south areas of Florida's gulf coast within easy driving distances. Although the weather was not always pleasant the stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. For an older hotel it was very well maintained, with all the amenities. Once again I would like to thank Charles and Amanda for going out of their way to make our stay truly enjoyable. Would definitely love to come back another time.

Our trip to The Dolphin Resort in St. Petersburg Fl.dyring Christmas. We left our home at 3am on Dec 21st to catch out 6:20flt at Pearson in Sunwing. We thought everything was moving well until we entered customs with hundreds of people waiting. Most could barely speak English, and where expected to use the machines to fill out forms. At 6:30 we where still in customs (2hrs) standing. Our flt was held till 8am. What a awful experience. We didnt get to our hotel until 5:30pm. As we where told it was only approx. 45 min from the airport, turned out to be 2.5 hrs away plus the shut down of the highway during to high winds and poor driving conditions. We lost the first day. We requested a ground floor with a king bed, but got 2 double beds facing a parking lot and field. Cockroaches were found inside of my cosmetic bag, we had to put up with guests fighting in a room above us eventhough we complained. The pool was full of sand and closed for 2 days, Car rental was suppose to be about $45. Extra ended up being $80.extra US. Plus an extra $80 US for parking at the hotel. The hotel is very old, then we lost another day on the 28th as the drive back to Orlando airport was do far. Our trip ended up being 5 day very disappointing.. I have to question who is checking out these vacation spots! So far our last 2 vacations with Sunwing where not memorable. Regards Sharon Munday

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Sunset Vista Suites. Grounds / condo very clean, staff very friendly. Pool was great. Beach, the best! Highly recommend this to anyone, cannot wait to return.

We knew prior to booking our March Break vacation that there was some construction on-going at this resort. That being said, the construction noise was minimal and only from 830am-330pm. There was no construction dust or debris blowing around anywhere and our room was right beside the Harry's Beach Bar area currently under construction. The Resort was clean, tidy and staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. We weren't in our room during the middle of the day, so this construction did not affect our stay at all. The beach area was fabulous and not crowded at all even though this was March Break! The beach was very clean, well kept and regularly patrolled by the Sheriff so there was no rowdy individuals from other hotels walking around drunk anywhere on the beach. I would highly recommend this Resort for families with children and teenagers who want a relaxing vacation. One of the restaurants on-site the "Compass Grill" was outstanding and I can't say enough good things about the Manager - George, Waiter - Bryce and even the bartender - Chris who ensured that all our meals were prepared and served with the outmost care, as our daughter has a life-threatening food allergy. George was right on top of everything and communicated the need for 100% certainty and quality control of our daughter's meals. Waiter - Bryce was very knowledgable about food allergies and ensured every part of our daughter's meals were perfect!!! It is always nerve racking when eating at restaurants due to possible cross-contamination of food in the kitchen, but our daughter and as parents we felt very relaxed and confident in both George and Bryce who personally ensured every meal was prepared to perfection and offered substitutes to accommodate our daughter's needs. George and Bryce worked together to ensure our daughter had a variety of meals to choose from and even made her a special dessert to accommodate her food allergy. Excellent customer service and very friendly staff!!! I can't say enough good things about this restaurant and quality of meals. We will definitely look at returning in the future as this Resort is on the top of our list!

Resort was clean, friendly, and near to beach and resturants. Would highly recommend to everyone. St. Pete's airport is small but good thing is not too busy. Just walk out and pick up your rental car - no problems.

Everything with the trip went smoothly. Hotel was great, nice staff, clean resort which is in the process of being completely renevated. Can't wait to go back. 2 negatives would be had to pay for beach chairs which were costly and flight home had a stop over in St-petes which is where I had just drove 2hrs from to catch our flight in Orlando and they double booked our seats.

The hotel was good, rooms very clean and serviced every day! The restaurants (and drinks), were all good and again great service. Beach was huge and amazing, we walked it every day. The only issue we had was through Sunwing at Toronto, the website was down again not allowing any preboard/printing and resulted in 2hrs just to get bags checked and boarding pass.

We had a wonderful time at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort. The staff was very warm and friendly and the room and view were top class. Our only real critique would be the size of the pool for the number of guests in the hotel. They should either enlarge the pool to accommodate more guests or build another pool on the gigantic sand bar in front of the property.

The photo is not of the hotel I stayed at. I was at Marriott Suites-Sand Key. Suite was very nice, overlooking pool area. Housekeeping staff were excellent, very friendly, couldn't do enough for me. The grounds & pool area were immaculate. Restaurant a bit pricey, pool food had a surcharge tacked on. Very good location, an easy drive from airport. Hotel under going some renovations, nothing really to disrupt my holiday. Sunrises spectacular!!! My suite was newly renovated, had a great glass shower.

I recently stayed at this hotel with a friend for one week of relaxation. Check in was very friendly and gave a good impression of the hotel from the start! The room was simple but clean and housekeeping never failed to do a good job each day. The pools (three of them) are clean and maintained and there were always people working around the grounds. There was work going on to the exterior but we were not bothered by it. We had to use the business centre and again the staff were so nice. I enjoyed this location and the hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone wanting a good place to hang out in St Petes Beach!

This resort has everything you need for a stay in Florida. Great location near stores and restaurants. There are always staff working around the grounds and they all acknowledge guests with a nod or hello or do you need anything? Check in and business centre staff were extremely helpful! I would definitely recommend this resort.

This hotel was great. It has excellent beach access. 3 restaurants to choose from. 1 in the hotel, and 2 others, at the poolside beach bars. The location is excellent. It has many top restaurants, and great bars, in the area. Very friendly staff, from the Management, down to the Housekeeping staff. Domenick, was a fantastic Bartender, at Harry:s Beach Bar.The beach is long and beautiful. It is a very safe, and clean resort.

I am not sure how this is consider 4 Star hotel . I will give it 2.5 star max . The building is super old . the food is poor and bad. we stay'd 4 nights and 2 of them the fire alarm was on at 3 am and we has to run down in the parking lot. Room cleaning was not done. Unless you tip !!!! Very bad Experience

Nice resort, well maintained, a little bit old and dated but still OK. The kitchen was very minimal more as the eating space as a kitchen, the picture showed a normal fridge, it was a mini fridge and a microwave. Take in consideration that the hotel is over 100 miles from Orlando airport a quite long trip

My husband and I stayed for one week at Grand Plaza Hotel. It could not have been better located. You don't even need a car - everything is right there at your fingertips. We had a beautiful room with amazing views of the bay. We need the sunset every morning through our large windows or our balcony. The service was perfect. Everything was well organized. The front desk staff were very accommodating. Bongos was so fun and the food was very good. The service was good. Lounge II was great and the views amazing. We loved every second. Lori and Daniel

Rooms, grounds, facilities all great! Dining Room for a bit more formal meals and two bars for light snacks, lunches, drinks. etc. Music was a bit loud but it ended at 9 pm so no problem. Staff were very friendly.

Great facilities, clean rooms, friendly staff, spacious rooms, live music every day when we were there. 2 nice beach bars and a formal restaurant right in site. Gorgeous beach and close proximity to many things to do including Fort desoto park which we highly recommend. Only thing I can complain about was the room was kind of humid and there were no bbqs and no oven. However this is a resort and not a condo.

The grounds were well taken care of, and the staff was very friendly. The timing of the daily room housekeeping was inconsistent. I can't think of anything else to say, and I shouldn't have to write a specific number of letters.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort. It was even better this time around. When we arrived at the front desk, I asked if they would upgrade us to a beach front room, and they did, at no extra cost. It was a big spacious clean room and has the most beautiful view of St. Pete's Beach. The resort has 3 great pools, restaurant/bar, very friendly staff, and sits on the most amazing white sand beach. I would definitely recommend it and we will be back again. Thank you!

This resort was awesome! Very friendly staff, nicely landscaped, lovely two bedroom condo type suites equipped with everyone you need for a great stay. Have stayed here twice now and will certainly be returning. Also just a walk away from John's Pass.

We had a great time. Hotel staff were awesome and did everything to accommodate us. Location is great, rooms are clean and comfortable. Great hotel, highly reccommend. Not sure what else to say but have to fill out another 65 characters.

This was our second trip to the Sirata Beach Resort. We would go back again. Great location on one of the nicest beaches anywhere. Rooms are spacious, clean and ours had a kitchenette. Walking distance to everything!

The Hotel and grounds were kept in excellent condition. We were greeted by friendly staff who were always willing to help and offer advice on places to eat. Service at the hotel restaurant was always friendly and very efficient.

The best part about this hotel is the beach... most of the front desk staff were quite nice, friendly and helpful but there were a couple who were blunt and rude with us. Our room was a bit run down and the cost to upgrade to a nicer room was not worth it. The beach bar was a lot of fun, the staff there were excellent. The food we ordered at the bar was excellent, but the breakfast buffet was cold.

Well kept facility. My only suggestion is that Seniors who do not want to participate in the activities should not have the extra daily hotel rate for things like towels chairs etc that they will not need.

We booked this hotel through Sunwing based on the lovely photos on the website and the fact we have always found our Holiday Inn stays to be enjoyable. This property is not up to the standards of the other Holiday Inns we have stayed with and it seems that with the huge new hotel going up next door the days of this sad relic are numbered. Upon arriving, we thought the staff member behind the reception desk was a maintenance worker when we checked in – this may be a beach theme hotel, but handing our personal details to a person in a worn hoody with no identification badge was not a positive way to begin our stay. Our room had a moldy/old smell mixed with a strong deodorizer. The rug was stained and frayed and the bathroom cabinetry had molding falling off. Overall it was tired, worn and long past due for refurbishing. On a positive note the housekeeping staff did a nice job with cleaning and the beds were decent. The location of our room was probably the worst in the hotel – facing inward toward the mini golf course and above the restaurant/bar where cover bands blasted Jimmy Buffet, Neil Diamond and Tom Petty renditions until 11 pm. This was followed by various levels of noise (and fighting) by the bar patrons. We were denied another room the first night and were never notified when a quieter room was available. Considering that there is a massive hotel/waterpark construction project next door, perhaps there was not a quiet room in the place. If you are unlucky enough to stay in an inward facing room be aware that it will always be dim under the roof structure (no sunlight at all) and you will be keeping your privacy blinds shut as people will be passing within inches of your only window. We had no seating in our tiny porch area and could not find a nice sunny place on the property to sit and have morning coffee. Not at all what a Florida hotel should be like. We stayed for 5 of the 7 nights before opting to pay for another hotel where we could enjoy the last couple of days in a bright, quiet, well-appointed room.

The good and the bad: 1) we booked a courtyard and got a bay view facing right on to the main road. Not impressed 2) the one bed suites came with cabana included ($25 per day charge) which the front desk seemed to know nothing about. They finally provided it. (Don't know if above 2 items are vacation supplier or hotel issues) 3) the fitness centre is in fairly poor repair and the machines could use some serious maintenance at best, likely replacement 4) housekeeping did not replenish the water in the room the entire week so we went out and bought our own 5) internet was HORRIBLE. The wifi signal could only be accessed in limited spots in the room which tells me that their wifi router is not sufficient for the size and height of the building. I've had much better service in St Petersburg ................ Russia! On the positive side: 1) rooms were a nice size and reasonably well appointed although inconsistent. We only had a microwave while some we understand also had 2 element stoves 2) the compass grille has fairly good food a a reasonable price. The filet mignon I had was outstanding 3) the beach is very good as is the beachside service and cabanas 4) staff is friendly and helpful

My 8 year old son and I spent a week at the Doubletree Redington Beach and we had a fantastic time. Service was exceptional and everyone was friendly, helpful, and kind. The beach was beautiful, the pool was great, and the food was awesome. We will definitely go back, during our next trip to Florida!

We were a party of 5 adults who spent Christmas week at Sailport. The hotel was very nice. The only drawbacks were that the flight landed in Orlando and the resort is 90 miles away. Also there is no restaurant on site. We had a rental car so we were able to get to shopping and restaurants but it would not be suitable for anyone who was not comfortable driving in a strange, high traffic area. The hotel advertises breakfast which it does not provide and the shuttle service for local travel is not free. It was a nice getaway and fairly good value despite these minor shortcomings.

I will summarize the pluses and minuses and you can make your decision based on what is important to you. Pluses - Comfortable beds, Clean, Computer available for guests to use, free newspapers, Large closet, Lots of free indoor parking. Minuses - The hotel is about a block from the beach which was not an issue for us but might not be ideal for everyone. No in-room safe so we had to carry our cash and valuables with us all the time. There are 2 small pools but they were too cold to swim in and we did mention this to the people at the front desk but the heater was never turned up. There were no beach towels, just small towels in the gym which meant that we had to take 3 towels each. There is live music at the bar which we could hear in our room. For reference, our room was right over the front office. We were in a standard room which got no natural light and we had to keep our curtains closed all the time as they faced on to the hallway. When we asked about getting a room that had light, we were told that we would have to pay an additional $50 per night. The hotel was not full so I find this was ridiculous. Our room was nice but small. One bed was right against the air conditioner and the other one was right beside the mini fridge. I asked if we could get a luggage stand to put our suitcases on when we were packing and was told they didn't have any. We didn't eat in the restaurant as the prices were very high. They are opening a water park next door which will be fun for families when it opens but it's right beside the pool so it will be noisy for those who want to relax. Overall, it was not a terrible hotel however, I have been to better hotels in the area so I won't go back unless the price is a lot lower. Room Tip: Try to get a room far away from the restaurant if you don't want to hear music every night. If...

Enjoyed location, wonderful beach, friendly and helpful staff, condo a little dated but otherwise excellent for us and the time we were there. Easy walk to Johns Pass. Close to great restaurants. Trolly to Redington Beach to "The Conch Republic" amazing . Walk to "Middle Ground Grill" again outstanding. Would definitely return and recommend.

The hotel was very clean, a bit dated but very well maintained, at the time we were there the hotel was being painted.Staff were concerned with your stay, they wanted to make sure you enjoyed their premises, My family may go back agin next year!!!!!!!!!!

This is a lovely resort situated in Indian Rocks, Florida. It fronts on the Inter coastal Waterway and Is just a quick minute walk across the road to the beautiful beach on the Gulf of Mexico. My husband and I stayed here last winter for a week and have plans to return this year. We have been using Tripcentral for the past few years with excellent results and satisfaction.This resort has been our favourite to date. The condo we were provided was clean and very comfortable . We had two bedrooms and free WiFi was provided. The front desk staff is so friendly and accommodating. The area offers fun entertainment, Happy Hour and great food at Crabby Bills and RJ's every day.

The Sirata Hotel is " definately THE HOTEL" to go to in ST. PETE BEACH FLORIDA....Location right on a gorgeous beach, three amazing pools, Excellent resturaunts, great entertainment on the patio, not to mention the fire pit! great for meeting new friends. Rooms and service perfect for a good vacation, and staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend THE SIRATA for families , couples, great times, and an amazing place to stay..

Was upgraded (for a fee) to a room with a balcony after realizing when we got there that we had a room with no view or balcony. Our room was in the convention centre and it was quite noisy, late into the night as there were wedding parties happening. Had to call front desk at 2am to get the partiers right outside our room to quiet down. Seemed to be dealt with promptly. Nice clean room with kitchenette, good for eating breakfast and lunch. Beautiful beachfront location and great restaurants. Staff were very friendly.

We were disappointed with room location, the staff were very friendly and the room was clean. We wanted a balcony but were unable to get it. we were close to the pool which was very noisy. that's our only complaint.

It was so close to airport. it was our first time in that area and we found travelling a breeze. The staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were very clean. Close to the beach and easy trip to Dunedin to see Toronto Blue Jays. We also have friends there for the winter and commute in any direction was 10-15 minutes.

In February we stayed for a week at the Holiday Inn Harbourside. It exceeded our expectations with customer service, cleanliness, amenities, grounds and location. We did not eat at the location but enjoyed many area restaurants. Hoping to return soon.
